In early January 2016, nine of us (family and friends) thoroughly enjoyed the Sunday Brunch at Patsy’s. Genarro was an excellent host, waiter, and bartender. He kept us in good spirits and kept the “good spirits” (bottomless mimosas and Bloody Mary’s) coming. We tried various entrees—French Toast, Fried Pork Chop, Eggs Benedict Pizza, Tartufata, and Waffle Fried Chicken Pizza--and all were excellent. The $26 price tag per meal was a bargain considering the bottomless cocktails. The atmosphere was very pleasant in the back seating area. Great food, great service, and a great experience overall. While a pizza place might not seem like an ideal brunch spot, I highly recommend you try Patsy’s.

What can we say about this restaurant? It is truly outstanding. First the service is wonderful. Tony is so friendly and nice, he makes you feel welcome even if (like us) you are new to Brooklyn and staying for a short time. He is wonderful and friendly. The bar tender Jazz (?) is possibly one of the nicest bartenders ever. Just a really nice guy! Gets your drinks quick, makes you feel welcome, great guy! Now... The food... It's fantastic! The pizzas are to die for. The crust is perfection. The pastas are sublime, my boys loved the penne alla vodka. The cannoli... You have to try it. My husband is raving about them still. I'm going to be honest there are a load of pizza places, it's NY after all, there are a load of Italian restaurants..but Patsy's really is a cut above. I can't tell you how unhappy we will be to have to leave Brooklyn and not have this on our doorstep.

We sat at the bar and order beer and pizza. The bartender was great, he advised us on the best pizza. He also gave of a history of some famous customers that had been to this restaurant. We had a great lunch with great entertainment with our discussions with the bartender.

Gennaro, the head waiter was an excellent server. He made very good food and drink suggestions, very good service. He let us dine at our pace as we were very early for an event at Barclays Center. This restaurant is right across the street from the Barclays Center. We had Fried Calamari that was very crispy, Veal Parmigiana and Veal Milanese with a side of pasta in a white sauce that he recommended. We also had an ice cream dessert with nuts and a caramel sauce and strawberries that was excellent. Of the 10 tables around us, 8 had a Margherita pizza as a meal or split as an appetizer. Will have to have a pizza on our next trip.

Found this place and couldn’t wait to try it! They use the freshest ingredients in their sauce it’s amazing. Pizza was so good! Meatballs were excellent! Friendly staff and very reasonable prices.

As soon as we walked in, we felt like family!!! The manager walked us right back, making us feel welcome and right at home. The service was top knotch and the food blew us away!!!! We ate at Juliana's early this week and this pizza seriously takes the cake! I had to cut my 9 year old son off because I thought he might get sick lol. Next time we are in Brooklyn, Patsy's will be our first stop!!!! Do NOT miss this place, best around!!!!

Patsy's Pizzeria should not be confused with the Manhattan white tablecloth Patsy's, which originated with a different family. This location of Patsy's Pizzeria is adjacent the Barclay Center and serves pastas and other Italian dishes in addition to pizza. We were a party of 6 and all seemed to enjoy their meals. Staff was friendly and attentive. Bar atmosphere indoors, but there is an enclosed patio in the rear. Prices are rather reasonable by NYC standards.

Loved this place so much that we ate here three times during ACC Tourney at Barclays Center! Don't miss it@

Old school charming surrounds and quality pizza here. The capricciosa was delicious and couldn't fault the service. There are better options in Brooklyn though.

I really can't say enough about this place! Ridiculously amazing pizza, authentic Italian cuisine, fair prices, great atmosphere and the best staff in Brooklyn. The owner came out and talked to us for 10 minutes- one heck of a guy. We loved every minute and I'd make this restaurant and absolute Brooklyn tradition.

My girlfriend and I went to Patsy's this evening (June 25) as we were in NYC for a stopover enroute back from vacation. I can't even begin to describe to you how absolutely phenomenal this restaurant is. From the moment we walked in the door, we were greeted like family -- the owners said a warm hello and shook our hands, and it seemed like even the other team members there either said hello, smiled in our direction or welcomed us. You can't help but feel special when you get that kind of reception. They set us up with a lovely table in the garden and we were served by Breanna -- a wonderful young woman who just made the evening that much better!! And then there's the food... We had the baked clams, a half dozen oysters, the maccelaio pizza (and we added garlic, onion and black olives), a bottle of Pinot Noir and for dessert: ricotta cheese cake and banana tiramisu. Every. Single. Bite. of every single course was out of this world. The wine was great and only made better by the food we were enjoying. And to top it off, each of us got complimentary shots of sambuca which had been diffused perfectly in a special way by the bar staff. We were saying to each other that when we get married we should have Patsy's cater it -- it was THAT good!!!!! All in all, a 10 star evening and we can't wait to be back in NYC so we can enjoy ourselves again at this special, special place!!!

Maybe it was the exciting NFL game in the background, but we had a great time at Patsy's. Pizza was delicious, one with 8 pieces easily feeding two relatively hungry guys. Excellent salad with pears and cheese. Friendly non-obtrusive service.

My boyfriend and I visited Patsy's twice whilst we were in New York. Once for lunch and once for dinner. We loved the food so much and service on our first visit we went back. The first time we had pizza, one to share which was more than enough for two, at lunch. We sat in the back which is an outdoor space but enclosed and lovely. When leaving we got chatting to Gennaro who I believe manages the restaurant, we tried Ben's hone made sambucca which was lovely, especially given I usually can't stand that stuff! Very smooth. The second time we went for dinner and sat in the restaurant. Again the food was delicious. I had baked clams to start, other half had calamari, for mains I had the pasta with vodka sauce which was delicious and my other half had linguine with seafood which he loved. Again Gennaro was there and looked after us, there was also another manager (he's in one of the photos) who really reminds me of a character out of the soprano's. Sorry! Very stereotypical I know! Anyway we'll be back as the food is fabulous and Italian food is my favourite cuisine. Keep up the good work!

Got recommend this restaurant by local NY Islander fans before the game and we weren't disappointed. Lovely cosy restaurant with friendly staff. Pizza pie was awesome totally hitting the spot and ticked off the list of having great Pizza whilst visiting NYC.

Here for the ACC Basketball Tournament at the Barclays Center. Food at Patsy's was so good we ate here on 3 different days. Della Casa salad is the BEST! Entrees are superb. We ordered several and shared them family style. The desserts - OMG - can you say Tiramisu!!! Wine selection is wonderful and very reasonably priced. We will definitely be back next year when we travel to Brooklyn for the ACC Tournament 2018. If you are in Brooklyn, Party's is a must!!!

Been trying to find good restaurants near Barclays Center for 2 years. This one did not disappoint. Sometimes restauranteurs usher event diners in and out, but we were greeted incredibly nicely and treated warmly throughout. Served bread could have been warmed but was super fresh all the same. The Chicken Parm was a nice portion but treated and cooked extremely well. Both diners had that but the side pastas (rigatoni and angel hair) both could have been homemade. Didn't have dessert but would definitely go back again.

I was there with a large group (16 people including two little ones) for a wedding celebration. The staff was wonderful and handled every request. I had the rigatoni bolognese and it was fabolous with the pasta cooked to perfection. Others had pizza and loved it.

From the moment you walk in, until the moment you leave, you are treated excellently. The pizza is the best! Drinks made perfectly. The waitstaff is great. Great backroom for dining. We'll be back! Full Bar.

They get you in and out. Food is good (enough). I had the veal milanese....a little too saucy, but pretty good. The coal fired pizza looked really good, but we didn't want to take leftovers with us

The pizza was excellent! Thin crust, nice topping (cheese since children were eating). Would go back for a meal in the restaurant next time.

The owner and staff were very welcoming. As far as the food it was excellent. I would recommend trying the restaurant great place.

Our visit started with a warm welcome at the door - assume it was the owner/manager who was so excited to welcome us! I thought to myself, we are off to a good start. They accommodated every request we had - and with a quick step and a smile. We had a group of 7, 4 adults and 3 kids - and all were happy! The service was good and the pizza was served quickly and piping hot. Was very tasty, too. Was happy to see a pie without cheese.

My husband and I loved this place - ate every speck of food off our plates. We shared a Margherita pizza and the Spaghetti Carbonara with chicken; truly scrumptious. I had the Tiramisu for dessert - BEST I've ever had. Everyone was very hospitable and helpful. We will definitely visit Patsy's every time we come to New York. Love it!!

My husband and I like to go to Patsy's for our pre-show dinner whenever we are seeing a concert at Barclays Center. It's such a convenient location, being around the corner from the main entrance and just a block away from the Dean Street entrance (when that entrance is open). The service has consistently been fast and friendly. We forgot to make reservations for our last dinner but they seemed happy to accommodate us anyway and had us seated right away. The food has been mostly good. We started our most recent meal with mozzarella carozza (which was heavy but delicious) and an arugula parmesan salad, which was good as well. My husband had the chicken marsala, which he very much enjoyed. I had the eggplant parmagiana, which was very overcooked and mushy, but I think it was just an off-night since I've had it a few times before and it was great. We finished our meal with a fresh cannoli. The price was reasonable, and we managed to finish our meal with plenty of time to get to our concert. Patsy's offers pretty good food, fast service, and is very conveniently located in relation to Barclays Center. I definitely recommend it if you're in the area.

We went here for a late night snack and the pizza was damn good! Being Canadian, this was def some of the best pizza I have ever had!

Was visiting a customer at the Barclay's Center and we went to lunch Asked him to pick and he chose Patsy's The moment that I walked in the door I knew that it was going to be great Awesome thin crust true NY style pizza We had the meat special pizza which had peperoni, sausage and meatballs The staff was true blue NY Italian and it was a great experience Can not wait for my next visit to the area to dine here again

Stopped here before an event at Barclays Center. Pretty long bar right when you get in with plenty of TV’s, seems great for watching sports. We sat in the back area that apparently opens up a bit in the summer. Waitress was “Dee” who was great to converse with and was on top of everything. Pizza was outstanding. Could easily split a pie between two ppl and still feel a little hungry. Had some desserts as well which were also good, as were the drinks. Would certainly return when back in the area.

I absolutely loved this place. My son and husband and I were attending an event at Barclays - which is right down the block from the restaurant- and decided on Patsys, having been fans of the location in Manhattan. Everything from the decor (nice room in the back with South Beach Style warmers next to the tables) to the waitstaff to the food was phenomenal. Best Thin Crust pizza and great wine list. Also a full bar at the front in case you wanted any type of cocktail after dinner. Loved it so much, we want to have our son's communion brunch there.

Food was delicious & service was great! The restaurant is very nice too; we sat in the back room which was very cozy and had heat lamps.

Had the Margherita Pizza with fresh mozzarella, tomato sauce and basil. The thin crust was perfectly cooked - crisp yet not over done. The service was outstanding and I can't wait for an excuse to get back to Brooklyn.

This is a great location if going to Barclays center for an event. Good pizza and atmosphere. Have several options including pasta, salads etc.

The pizza we took had 3 meat toppings. It was good, but not outstanding. The service was ok, although the server did bang the water bottle and wine glass a bit too loud on the table (it startled us). The place has an old pub-look. All in all, we were a bit disappointed.

Literally some of the best pizza we have ever had. Quiet atmosphere and very clean. The staff is great and the food is out of this world.

Stopped here by chance after a day of shopping. Pizza amazing we ordered another one because we couldn't stop at just one even though they are huge. Service impeccable the manager so friendly and accommodating. Atmosphere great prices were great value, a busy little local joint. Would definitely recommend going there if your around the Barclays Centre.

Went to my 1st Islander game in Brooklyn on a snowy President's Day. The arena was not exactly great for hockey. The Islanders beat Detroit and after the game came the prize. Went to Patsy's. The pizza is awesome. The staff is great. I will return to see my beloved Islanders BUT look more forward to Patsy's.

In a hurry before a performance at BAM we asked if we could be seated and served quickly -- on a busy Friday night. The staff checked, said yes and then followed through with grace and care. Good food and we lived the back seating area which I imagine is a little oasis on pleasant days. Food was good . We did not try pizza there but they looked great at nearby tables. Again the staff was so super friendly and welcoming. Everyone from the hostesses the chefs working in their semi open kitchen smiled and welcomed us as we arrived and made s point to say thanks and good evening as we left.

A storied restaurant group, around for almost 90 years. Full bar, table seating, garden area in the back. Had higher hopes and hurts to pen some of this. Staff was buzzing around though not very attentive. Messy seating areas with major table wobble.Pizzas were ok though lacking any depth of flavor. Eggplant parm was all seeds and not handled well. Salmon was rubbery. Chicken Marsala was fair with small portions. Rigatoni bolognese was a bit pasty. Was not inexpensive and would not pay even 50% less to go back again. Your local neighborhood/town pizzeria does an equal or better job.

We loved eating at Patsy's. We went with some friends who live in Park Slope; they've had the pizza before, but only to go. We were all so glad we ate in the restaurant. They opened the door for us and walked us in the restaurant. Our server was incredible-- the perfect mix of fun and professional. He gave suggestions, served our first slices, kept our glasses filled, and made us laugh. We got a meats pizza and a veggie pizza, both of which were incredible. The restaurant itself is really nice and gives off a very friendly vibe. I would definitely recommend Patsy's to anyone staying in Park Slope!

Husband is from Brooklyn and our first stop was pizza! Met friends with families there. Great spot. Busy. First come first served. No reservations. Good for families. We had three strollers with children from newborn to 11. High chairs provided. Space tight for strollers but we got there early so it was manageable. Let's get to it. Pizza was FANTASTIC! We had a combo and margarita along with two other specialties. YUM! Salad and pastas. Lasagna and carbonara and linguini with clams. Started with oysters and calamari. Had to skip dessert because we were way too full. Service was great. Totally accommodating. We had 12 ppl, 8 adults and 4 children. Definitely will go again!!

We came here after reading and hearing some impressive reviews on Trip Advisor and following a not so enjoyable time at another restaurant in Little Italy which gave me doubts whether Italian pizza is as good as in Europe.... After visiting Patsy's we have just tasted quite possibly the best pizza money can buy and were simply blown away by everything. Pizza - Mouthwatering, Fresh, Huge and baked to perfection, these guys do not only make Pizza how it should be but they even show you how to eat it (in a way that makes you taste all the flavours). The service was outstanding, very friendly and accommodating, we were looked after and made to feel more like guests than customers and the manager/owner came and introduced himself and made sure everything was okay. Dessert was a Nutella pizza which was delicious and is a joy to behold, freshly baked with nutella and fresh fruit, simply awesome, a must try and unique dessert in this wonderful restaurant. Everything about this place is world class, I just wish we discovered it a lot sooner than our last night in New York. Opposite the Barclays Center if you love Italian this is the place for you, if you don't love Italian then you will do after a visit to Patsy's. Beautiful food, Outstanding Service, World Class restaurant.

It was my first ever visit to Patsy's. The decor was tastefully done, quaint and inviting. Very open and clean kitchen. I loved the warm air perfumed with the sauces simmering on the stoves. My partner and I ordered the beet salad, original cheese pie and scoglio pasta. I don't have too much to say about the beet salad other than to not order it. It was very simple and unoriginal. It was simply some cooked beets and orange wedges on top of some mixed greens. Not worth $13 by any means. The pizza was simply perfection. Personally, the best pizza I have ever had! The marinara sauce was flavorful but not salty or overpowering. The dough was light and crisp, just enough to vessle the delicious sauce and cheese on top. Scoglio pasta was also delicious. One downside was that there were many broken shell pieces mixed in the pasta, making it difficult to eat. However, the ingredients were quality. I could taste the freshness of the tomatoes in the sauce. I soaked up the sauce with my pizza crust. That in itself was the perfect compliment to the chef. Service, on the other hand, could be improved upon. Our waiter failed to describe and sell the dishes to us. No one even checked on us or filled our glasses of water during the meal. On our way out, we noticed that one of the wait staff was filling out job application at the bar.

Met a couple of young friends for dinner. We sat in the open area at the far side of the restaurant. Pizzas were pretty good, although because I've been spoilt at Rubirosa in downtown Manhattan, nothing else has beaten that yet

I received a stale, hard to eat lasagna. When i picture lasagna, i think gooey cheese all over the place. Makes my mouth drool thinking about it. What came out, i was struggling to find any cheese at all. I asked the server, do the cooks normally put cheese when I was halfway through because this was hard to eat. The kind server said we make one really big lasagna and divide it up all night. Clearly, i got the dregs, the absolute bottom of the barrel. This will be my last visit after attending a sporting event or concert across the street at Barclay. And that's disappointing as i love italian food , eat 3-5x a week.

I’m a lifetime New Yorker so I do know good pizza. They have one of the best I’ve ever had. Definitely top 5. We had Margarita pie The crust is the best. Thin but with substance. Cheese is delicious and lots of fresh basil. Sauce was good not great but still 4.5 out of 5. Service was good and our sides were all delicious.

We've really struggled to find good pizza in Park slope and were so happy to find Patsy's! The service is warm and welcoming from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. The pizzas are huge (one between two definitely) and delicious. The base is thin and crispy and the toppings are of high quality and very generous. We somehow managed a tiramisu and it was probably the best we've ever had. We'll definitely be going back!

On a recent holiday to New York we stayed in Brooklyn and our host recommended Patsy's. The pizza was delicious and the service was very very good. We had looked at the menu on line and thought the pizzas looked expensive at around the $20 mark - what we hadn't accounted for was the fact that they were HUGE!! I have a very big appetite - my Mam and I shared a pizza with side salad and then shared a pud - it was more than enough. I would really really recommend Patsy's - it was one of the best (eating) bits of our NY trip

Visited Patsy's while at the ACC Tournament in Brooklyn NY. Small place that was packed with fans but did not fail when it came to service and food, All the pizza that I saw looked fantastic. We all had pasta dishes that were great. Even though the restaurant was very busy our server was on top of his trade. He was a hoot and made us laugh. The restaurant is just a short walk from Barclay's and the Atlantic Street station. I would strongly recommend Patsy's at any time for a great meal.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Patsy's restaurant. The Neapolitan pizza was divine. The wait staff was friendly.I asked for a barber shop recommendation and my son got a great haircut too. I would definitely recommend Patsy's if you're in Brooklyn.

Came here with the family before an islanders game. Service was great. Wonderful meal. Wasnt rushed. Would come back for sure.

The margherita pizza was very good, true NY style. But what really stole the show was the ice cream tortoni dessert- delicious.

Ate here with my boyfriend before a UFC fight. The bread was delicious and so was the Rose. I ordered a Caesar salad, and it was a bit too fishy/anchovy for my taste. I ordered rigatoni with garlic and oil and spinach. To my surprise it was fresh homemade pasta which was delicious! My boyfriend ordered chicken scarparello, which he loved. It was very busy in there so our waiter was very fast but efficient!

Very near the Barclays Center, I highly recommend whether or not attending an event there. The owner was on site, gracious, and generous the evening we decided to stop in. The place is very popular and it is easy to see why! The maitre 'd was hustling trying to get everyone seated as quickly as possible. The staff were high energy and friendly. And the food was amazing! The pizza looked terrific and most tables were enjoying that selection, but they serve much more. The mussels were the largest and best prepared we have ever had (huuuuge!) The sea bass was delectable and melted in our mouths. Shared a delicious and reasonably priced montepulciano. For dessert, the tiramisu and pane cotta were divine. Tried the owner's sambuca as well and were really impressed. The waiter threw in a couple of espressos (who does that any more!? Thank you Gennaro, you are a real pro!) Must go!!

The Brooklyn spot was terrific for an unseasonably cold late April day but it wasn't too cold to eat on the covered back porch which allowed us to enjoy the beautiful day. We got a meatball sub to split and their unique and fantastic Vodka sauced pizza. The sub was perfect with meatballs and homemade sauce that us Italians always appreciate. The Vodka sauce pizza is a must for any big Vodka sauce fan, like my wife. Next thing you knew, we had eaten the whole thing. The thin crust is the right delivery source for all the goodness on top and allows you to not get too full too fast. The host was very friendly although the wait staff made us, uh, wait a bit too much and a note they didn't make us aware of: our soft drink refills were not free, so just a word to the wise. Other than that, it's a place we would definitely revisit on our next trip. Thanks, Patsy's.

From walk-in to exit we were treated impeccably by the staff and owner. Nothing was too much to ask. It was a busy game night (Knicks v Nets) and there was a nice buzz around Patsy's. I ordered Chicken Parmigiana, which was cooked nice and tender and came with a lush tasting sauce. Service was fast considering how busy the restaurant was. The owner and his staff were regular at checking our experience of their restaurant was going well and we enjoyed chatting with them. A very pleasing dining experience!

was there as part of a 26 person party and was really impressed with how excellent the service. Not to be outdone was the pizza. We had four different kinds at the table. The meatball and onion was awesome. I need that meatball recipe! The crust on all the pizzas was excellent. Wish I had this place back home!

Excellent food and service. Love the bartender! Will return. Convenient to the Barclays Center. Charming, with good service and very tasty food & drinks.

First of all our waiter was the best ever! We sat in the garden area, I'm sorry I don't know his name, but he started the whole dinner off on a great vibe. He was on his game, and a great sense of humor! I ordered the Caesar Salad with Shrimp. First of all I know it was fresh made Dressing, probably for each salad like they used to do years ago .... what a super treat. The shrimp was cooked perfect! My son and girlfriend got a big pizza, and my niece and I drank wonderful wine. I was just visiting the area but I will be back the first chance I get. Thank you for a most wonderful dinner!

Fast, very good service, perfect pasta and pizza. Friendly staff. Great place in Brooklyn before a basketball game. !!!

Had a delightful dinner with my daughters, who live down the street. Got a warm welcome from the bartender when we walked in, then greetings from the server, busboy and manager. They really made us feel comfortable. Our server (Jazz I think) joked with us throughout dinner about joining a private party in the back. Busboy reminded us the water was the world's best (Brooklyn). Pizza was great! I prefer thin crust and they just nailed it. Pepperoni was very tasty, but didn't make the pie greasy the way some do. Margherita taste like fresh basil. When pies were brought out, slices were put on our plates, along with a smile. A nice touch. Only had draft beer, but for some reason it even it tasted beer than usual-maybe the hospitality?

We did not go for the pizza but we had great pasta and eggplant dishes, plus other stuff. And very friendly service. And it is a very cute place. I know this is a Barclay's Center place but it deserves more attention as a solid choice for good food.

Had a very good meal here prior to a concert at the Barclay's Center. A good selection. Nice Atmosphere. Had a the Chicken Marsala and was impressed.

Crowded, loud and confused service...my wife ordered chicken parm...it was supposed to come with roasted potatoes and vegetables...it arrived with pasta....when I mentioned it to the server he just responded that they sent it out with pasta instead...he said he would look into it and never came back...so I mentioned it to the person who took the order..he was friendly about it and came back with a plate of wet vegetables and a tiny potato croquet...at least he tried...I had pasta with a decent sauce...we had tiramisu for desert...ok, but not really very good I may go again, but I would not recommend it to someone else...you have to overlook a lot to avoid getting aggravated

This is one of my favorite restaurant in New York City and when we talk about authentic Italian food, well... This is the right place to go! Amazing, the way the food tastes and how the chef, Sal Scognamillo, who's the third generation of the same family that in 1946 opened up this fabulous restaurant, has kept the flavor of the original recipes of his great grandmother! My favorite dish is absolutely LOBSTER FRA DIAVOLO! But anything else I have tried so far has never ever let me down ! From the broccoli rape, to fried zucchini to the artichoke to the sea bass alla livornese or branzino or any other fish everything was cooked to perfection! Don't forget the delicious pastas, the full wine list and the home made desserts and fresh fruit! Everything served with grace and love by the staff, who's captain, mr. Vinnie Proudly took care of us.

We had the Margarita Pizza and Spaghetti Carbonara with chicken. Both were delicious, especially the pizza. Fresh ingredients and thin crust were fantatstic. We finished it off with chocolate cake and tiramisu. Both were excessively generous servings and we're great. Service was great, very friendly server and manager made for a great visit. From downtown take the Q train to Brooklyn, you won't be sorry.

Found Patsy's while looking for a now closed Chinese restaurant. Sometimes things turn out for the better. Attentive and friendly service from start to finish. Wonderful thin crust pizza. Our 15 year old very picky eater finished all her crust. Rare indeed. The calamari was perfect. Could have eaten three plates.

Popped in here for lunch and really enjoyed it and had pizzas - huge by European standards and very good and also had pasta dishes which were also very good. Would love to go back but ran out of time.

Service is great, ask for Sam or yet he may meet you on the street and escort you in. Fun and warm atmosphere. Jazz the bartender has a great personality and drink presentation is great. Patsys is great for pre or post event meals or snacks located next to the Barclay's Arena. Come for the pizza pie and stay for the pasta. The patio in the back is spacious and well decorated. Wonderful Italian food, warm staff and excellent attention. A sure to visit on your visit to Brooklyn with or without visiting the arena.

Stopped in at Patsy’s before the Nets game for dinner. Ordered a pizza for an appetizer. Crispy, thin and delicious. This is a must stop prior to any event at the Barclays Center.

Bad real BAD. COLD UNDER COOKED FLOPPY PIZZA. THE WORST!! Coal fired pizza that was not hot and crispy Not a real NYC style pizza The please was empty during lunch Need I say more

Everything we tried was full of delicious flavor from the veal piccata, the gnocchi , the calamari, the pastas, the bolognese, the chicken limone and the pizzas! Let's not forget the homemade desserts, the ricotta cheesecake, the tiramisu and the cannolis!! Yet by far my fondest recollection is the sincere warmth and hospitality from Tony, Genaro and the entire staff. Suffice it to say we went back three nights later! Genaro, thank you for exuding your enthusiasm in all that you do for your guests!! Mario and Julie you were right! Patsy's in Brooklyn is a real gem!!

Six of us stopped in for dinner just before 5pm. We were like the only customers in the place. I was really looking forward to a meatball parm sandwich and was very disappointed when I was told that was only for lunch! We were too late for lunch! I asked for the manager and he admitted they had the bread, they had the meatballs, they had the mozzarella and they did have the sauce but it was past lunch service. There was almost no one else in the place but he could not break his precious little rule. At that point I would have been happy to go anywhere else but the other five wanted pizza and so we ordered two pies, which came burnt, and a few beers which somehow came to 160! I, needless to say, won’t be going back to this place again and I recommend you don’t either.

Great meat meatballs and calamari appetizer. The pizza was excellent. Almost directly across the street from Barclay’s Center. Great location! I am a fight fan and will be back each time I attend a fight in Brooklyn!

Cozy restaurant, right down the road from Barclay center. Not affiliated with Patsy’s in East Harlem. Food was delicious we had the pasta bolognese and friend had eggplant parm. Service was great, very attentive and mindful of the patrons and their needs. Restaurant was full but they didnt rush us out or made us feel rushed. ! Will definitely go back

We had a quick dinner here on our visit to Brooklyn for a concert at the Barclays center. We enjoyed the margarita pizza, a cold antipasto, salad with grilled shrimp. The food was just what we were looking for and very reasonably priced. The pizza had a thin crust which we prefer. We were also greeted by a very friendly man and made to feel welcome. Cute bar in front! Would definately visit again when in the area!

5 of us stopped in for dinner after walking around the city and sight seeing.. heard this was the best pizza in NY. We ordered several different items, pizza, ravioli, lasagna, and chicken parm. Everyone of us were disappointed and felt the food at little shops in the city had better quality food. The sauce tasted like it was from a jar.. and not Ragu or Prego.. more along the lines of Hunts. Chicken parm was dry and overcooked. The lasagna was worse than Stouffers.. I dont believe anything is homemade. The manager took off the lasagna and offered to make something else for my hubby but since everything else was barely edible he just ate a piece of pizza.. we were starving and ended up stopping later to eat somewhere else. Don't waste your $.

A Queens-born friend said, "You've got to go to Patsy's!" I looked out the window of our Airbnb in Brooklyn, and saw a big word scrawled on the side of a brick building: "Patsy's" -- just a block away. So we ate there our first night in NYC, and it was good -- a tasty margherita pizza and really good carbonara. Definitely old-school Italian/American, nothing fancy and kinda pricey. But still give it a thumbs up.

Patsy's is incredible! We ate here on the last night of our NYC stay, as it is conveniently located across the street from the Barclay's Center. We got to Patsy's early and enjoyed a leisurely dinner before heading over to Barclay's for the basketball game. This was by far our best meal of the week. We shared a pizza as our appetizer, and it was one of the best we have had! Raviolis are homemade, sauce is superb, and little neck clams are recently opened. Patsy's serves excellent Italian food ~~ just wish we knew about this place sooner!! Thanks, Patsy!

In my search for brick oven pizza near the Barclay Center in Brooklyn New York, I was directed to Patsy's on Dean Street. Being familiar with Patsy's in Manhattan, and enjoying their food, I went. I ordered a brick oven pizza for takeout and waited for quite a while. The pizza was burnt and not very tasty. I will go back to the Manhattan location, but not this one, and I do not recommend their pizza.

Stopped in for dinner after an Islanders game. It's right across the street from the Dean Street entrance of the Barclays. Place looks small from the street but is much larger and has an atrium in the back. Since I was solo had my meal at the bar. Got the chicken marsala which was delicious. Nice beer selection and they have house made sambuca. Bartender was cool. Even got some limoncello on the house. manager very helpful. No kids menu but what kid doesn't like pizza or pasta?

On our way to an event at Barclay's Center, we stopped at Patsy's. It was comfortably crowded but with a fun atmosphere. The food was fabulous - Pizza and mussels marinara were superb - The owner/Manager and waitstaff were friendly, professional and efficient. Can't wait to go back there sometime!

Excellent brick oven pizza. Big salads Good fried appetizers like calamari. Perfect meal before Barclay Center events

We were looking for a place to grab a glass of wine, and enjoyed ourselves so much that we had appetizers and Pizza, too. We had been searching for the classic pizza in NY and this fit the bill. It is coal fired Pizza, thin crust and absolutely delicious! sorry we forgot to take a picture but it was so good! We were greeted and entertained by Genardo at the bar and he took good care of us. Pizza was well priced $22. Loved the zucchini strips with marinara. (Fried but not at all greasy) If we lived closer, it would be a regular hangout of ours!

This was our first time at Patsy's since we were visitors in Brooklyn. It's a great local place that serves up really tasty, thin crust pizza with flavorful ingredients. We tried the sun dried tomato and mushroom pizza and it was great. The eggplant parm entree was good. I'm not a big fan of fettuccine alfredo, but one of the other folks at the table liked it and it was a nice presentation. Patsy's seems very clean and it is a comfortable environment. The sevice was friendly and professional. They also have some good beers on tap. Blue Moon with that usual slice of orange was just right for me, but they have Brooklyn IPA and some other nice selections too.

This restaurant has declined - our experience yesterday was terrible. Veal Milanese was soggy and too saucy - Penne vodka was sour tasting (we ordered something else but were charged anyway). Napkin lining bread basked was dirty and obviously used on the underside! Gross - our treatment was disgusting - asked to speak to a manager but they never came to our table - restaurant was not busy - many empty tables at that time - Pizza was good though

Great pizza, very delicious calamares rings as appetizer, lovely seating area in the back (outside but covered with plants).

Went before the show, so we were expecting a crowd. We were lucky enough to get seated shortly. Our server was error prone and inattentive, but that's almost a given on a crazy pre-show Friday night. The food was OUTSTANDING! Rice balls and eggplant parmigiana were excellent. The scoglio with squid ink pasta was fantastic, and the broccoli rabe was one of our best ever. Service can make or break an evening, this time the food shined through!

Pizza was awesome, one of the best ones I have tried. Also the staff was kind and offered a good client service

Great Margherita pizza for two, first time I have been here. Great place to go when going to an event at Barclay Center

We came here before a Nets game at the Barclays center. Very close and convenient. We ordered a large pie and garlic bread. Pizza was awesome, nice thin, crispy crust the way we like it. Cooked perfectly and it came fast. The garlic bread was REALLY strong. Too strong actually. Maybe they thought we were vampires. Lol. I ordered a draft beer that tasted like the taps needed to be cleaned. Overall a good experience and we will be back.

Patsys is a good go-to near downtown Brooklyn (or Barclays). Pizza is good, we also had a nice beet salad with orange slices. Wait staff is very accommodating. Def give it a try.

This place is amazing!! We went in before a Nets game at Barclays, with no knowledge of it in advance. Just a lucky guess!! There were two of us and we ordered 12 baked clams followed by a meatball pizza (sliced, not round). The food was to die for. This was all topped off by our interaction with the manager (or owner, not sure?). He was fantastic with his advice on food, and his history lesson on Patsy's. 100% Recommended!!!

Popped in for a late lunch. Decided to share a pizza with extra toppings. Food great, service fantastic, value superb Excellent choice with extensive toppings Best Pizza by far

In town for Elton John. Concert was at 8. We went to eat and have drinks at 5pm. No wait. We were seated immediately in a booth for six people. Christian was our server and greeted us with a huge smile. Our orders were taken. I ordered the gluten-free penne with Mussels marinara over it. I said, " Please make sure they COOK the pasta. It can't be al dente!" Of course, it was undercooked, leaving me to wait for my meal while the others ate. After a short wait, it came out. Out of 24 mussels shells, maybe 12 had meat. I wasn't sending it back again because I was hungry. Afterwards, we all ordered desserts and coffee. Christian came out with complimentary homemade Sambucca. Besides the location to the Barclay center, there wasn't anything special about the food.

Good place for takeaway pizza. They have plenty of options, including for both vegetarians and meat lovers.

Wandered in after a game at Barclay’s...and we were SO glad we did. Patsy’s has a great atmosphere, very good service, and we enjoyed delicious salad, lasagna, and fettuccine. The food was fresh and some of the best we’ve ever had. We hope to come back the next time we are in the city.

We stopped by for a pizza before an event at the Barclay Centre. So convenient as it is right across the street from Barclay Centre. Place was not crowded and pizza is very good size that can fill up 2-3 people easily. We had the Margherita pizza with fresh mozzarella, tomato sauce and basil. Nice, simple dish.

Went there for dinner before a concert. No one came over to take a drink order, we had to flag down the manager or owner not sure his role, he told someone to come over and they did, begrudgingly. The guy barely made eye contact, he didn't smile or introduce himself, just took our order and left. Our appetizer came before our drinks did and when our drinks did arrive (brought over by another server who didn't take our order) there was a drink missing, when I informed this girl that we were missing a drink she replied "I didn't take your order" I never accused her of anything I was merely informing her we needed another drink. Later, while we were still eating our pizza, the server asked us if we wanted to see a dessert menu. If she had any sense of observation she would have seen that asking about dessert while we were still eating our entree makes no sense. Overall the pizza was fine, nothing to write home about and the service was just awful. I worked as a server for years and if I presented myself the way the servers did at Patsy's I would have been fired. I will never go back. The owners need to re-educate the staff on serving etiquette.

Came into Patsy's on a Saturday night (no Barclay events going on) and were seated right away. We enjoyed a nice bottle of Chianti (their house, which is very good!), a prosciutto and burrata cheese salad and a meatball pizza. The meal was excellent and the atmosphere was wonderful. There was a real community feel to the place and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

We walked here( about 5 minutes or 800 feet) after a game at the Barclay's Center. The food was delicious and plentiful. The owner spoke to us several times and they were most accommodating. We had another game to get back to as did lots of other tables. If you like good ole Italian food give it a try.

Some of our favorite pizza in the Brooklyn area. We always make a visit here on our visits to New York City.

I’m a pizza snob, and the pizza here is perfect. Crunchy and soft in all the right places. The hot antipasto appetizer is great to share too. The service is exceptional, the prices very fair and don’t worry about the patio seating. It’s climate controlled. I will come back to eat here if I’m ever in Brooklyn again. Awesome experience!

Patsy's has wonderful service and the best food! We went on Friday night and had pizza. Decided to go back on Saturday night and tried the pasta. It was all delicious. The server remembered us from the previous night! This is a great local place in Brooklyn. Right across from Barclays center. Perfect place to go before seeing a concert or game.

Wonderful Italian food. Room has a great feeling. Waiters are friendly and knowledgeable. They understand service. My wife is Italian and she was impressed with the food. She said: "There must be an Italian in the kitchen." Patsy's has been in the same spot for decades, and it has always kept high standards. That's a true accomplishment. Go, and don't just have spaghetti. Be brave. Let them surprise you.

Great food, service and atmosphere before a hockey game. Definitely coming back soon and then again it's warm...brrrr

Stopped here during my first visit to Brooklyn. The pizza was delicious and I loved the coal fired crust. The service was fast and friendly. I will definitely make a special trip back next time I'm in NYC.

Spaghetti sauce on the meatball dish, delicious. Piping hot. Husbands chicken Parmesan was tasty. Nice atmosphere, didn't feel like and day lunchtime, great background music and ambience. Will definitely recommend to my Brooklyn based family.

My wife and I dined at Patsy's before the Nets game, and the experience did not disappoint. A superb pizza, delicious parmigiana and great bottle of Valpolicella hit the spot. Gennaro was a charming host and dealt with an incoming party of 20 all in his stride. Highly recommended.

Came to NY to visit my son in Manhattan. Went over to Brooklyn and randomly selected Patsy's without any prior knowledge of the place. This was amazing pizza! I will definitely be back on my next visit to NY. This is very convenient being right across the street from Barclays center if you were there for a concert or sporting event! Disney on Ice was there and lots of families were coming to get pizza after the event. Don't forget to try to Tiramisu as well. It was delishous!

Patsy’s has been serving pizza since 1933 this Brooklyn location offers great service and of course excellent pizza. Recommend the Bianca and a classic margarita. This was Old Blue Eyes aka Frank Sinatra’s favorite pizza parlor.

I was absolutely impressed with the outstanding food and service at Patsy's Italian Restaurant in Brooklyn. Every staff member that we met were incredibly welcoming and attentive and they made our visits so memorable and rewarding. The food and service were so amazing we ate their twice for lunch during our conference in Brooklyn and I would highly recommend eating here if one is fortunate enough to do so. It was so amazing that I would return to Brooklyn just to eat here again!! During our two visits, my daughter and I shared the calamari, which was somewhat standard fare, but still very good. Our margherita pizza was amazing and very large and could easily have fed 3 people and possibly 4 depending on how hungry one is. During our second visit, we had the meatballs, which were excellent and I had the chicken parmesan and my daughter had the penne vodka and both dishes were exceptional and the portions were large as well. I would recommend people sharing dishes as the portions are too large for one individual to eat. The servers that we had were both exceptional as well. Daniel was one of our servers and he had a great sense of humor and was extremely attentive and made our dining experience even more enjoyable. We had a female waitress the first day and I didn't get her name, but she was amazing also and we appreciated her kindness and attentiveness. Overall, I highly recommend Patsy's to anyone who has the opportunity to eat there and I hope that I am fortunate enough to eat there again!! A special thank you to all of the staff for all of your hard work and dedication!

Very good pizza. Great tomato flavor, spicy sausage, charred crust. Our waiter was excellent; wonderful sense of humor and full of knowledge. Be aware: no refills for either soft drinks or ice tea.

My first time in this eatery and was not disappointed; the pizza was great, and waiter was on point with out drinks and food.

We went there before a concert at Barclays. We saw great reviews so we thought we tried it. It was a great experience. Francesco the owner greeted everyone while we were waiting for the table. It was packed but it was a fast wait. We started with calamari and baked clams. Awesome. We tried the chicken parm, carbonara and the meat sauce. Perfection. Will definitely will visit soon and can't wait to try their homemade sambuca

Good food, good service, and reasonable prices make Patsy's a good choice right across the street from Barclay's. We enjoyed the original pizza before a game. Feeds two if you come hungry. Entrees at other tables looked good too.

Went to Patsy's one evening for a real NY style pizza. We were not disappointed. We learned the story of the NYC water that makes the pizza crust (and the bagels) the best. In addition, here, the pizza's are cooked over a coal fired oven. We had the meat pizza which is very large and can feed 2-3 people. The pizza has sliced meat balls as a topping and one of my friends thought she died and went to heaven the pizza was so good. We had the pleasure of talking to the owner about the multi-generation history of Patsy's pizza restaurants. Once you meet Francisco you will truly understand what passion for a family business and pizza stands for. All around it was a great evening, the food, the atmosphere and the family environment. Don't miss Patsy's if you are in Brooklyn.

My family and I stayed up in Brooklyn this past weekend. I found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try. We got there Friday evening and I was surprised we got a table so quickly. We got an appetizer, a pizza, and a cannoli for dessert. The food was absolutely the freshest tasting food I've had at a restaurant in a long time. The staff was great and really had a teamwork feel about them. If our waiter was busy another waiter had no issue hopping in and getting us whatever we needed. Fantastic experience, so much so that we went back on Saturday. The food was reasonably priced and the staff made for a great experience.

Thanks to our waiter Dan, the manager Gianardo, And the owner Tony we had an outstanding weekend in Brooklyn! We loved the food and ambiance of Patsy's so much, we returned twice during our holiday weekend. Memorable dishes were the burata with truffle oil over arugula, veal Marsala, fried calamari, chicken parmigiana and my personal favorite, squid salad! All selections were fresh and delicious noting the finest ingredients were used in each. I almost forgot the pizza! Amazing! Now we need a New Jersey location! Send Gianardo to New Jersey please! We love Patsy's!

We had pasta dishes/chicken parm & pasta and everything was delicious. Many surrounding tables had the pizza. Got to the restaurant around 5:15pm so we had plenty of time to get to the game. Didn't love the cheese cake.

The pizza and salad are absoluely wonderful. The service is prompt and polite. This is an excellent go to place near my college.

My boyfriend and I visited Patsy's Dean St following our visit to the Greenwich Village location last time we were in NYC. We were delighted to discover there was a Patsy's on Dean St which was very close to our Park Slope apartment. We decided to visit on a Saturday evening and were greeted with excellent and welcoming service. We ordered the mozzarella in carrozza to start, and the macellaio pizza (we shared both). The food was delicious with large portions at reasonable prices. We enjoyed the visit so much, we decide to visit again 3 nights later! We shared the same pizza again, along with the lasagne which was probably the best lasagne we have both ever had! The service was somehow even better this time: all waiters made us feel extremely welcome, particularly Gerardo who even gave us a complimentary sambuca at the end of our meal. Can't recommend this restaurant enough! Great food and excellent service. Can't wait to return on our next visit to Brooklyn!

We were in Brooklyn to see our sons and their significant others. Having grown up in the New York area, but now living in Chicago, I wanted to have real NY pizza. We were staying in Park Slope, so Patsy's seemed like a good choice. My son brought is newly adopted Yorky mix puppy, Bobby. We hoped the restaurant was dog friendly and had an outdoor area. We were greeted by the owner, Tony, with a big smile. Their patio was sort of enclosed. We didn't know what to do, when Tony said not worry (he didn't say "fuhgeddaboudit"), he would watch Bobby and took the leash. We were in the restaurant maybe 2-2 1/2 hours. We had great calamari and baked clams, followed by 3 different pizzas. Very New York style (foldable) with a nice char from the coal oven. Perfect crust. Great sauce and toppings. Best pizza we have had in years. ( and we eat pizza quite often). Dining area was bright and clean. Our waiter was also wonderful and very friendly. When we came out Tony and family had Bobby who looked very content. Maybe he had some pizza. Everything about the night was Five Stars.

Went with a very large group so got to try lots of different things. The rice balls were full of flavor and good texture. The pizza I thought was best is just the plain cheese. I wouldn't change anything about it. The eggplant parma had a weird taste and texture. The salads were fair nothing special.

First trip to NYC and this was our first dinner here. They set the bar RRALLY high. Excellent food, superb service!!!

This was my first (and maybe only) time to visit Brooklyn, so as a Texan, I decided that I had to try the famous pizza that New Yorkers always brag about. My local hosts took me to lunch at Patsy's, and it was delightful. The gentleman who served us was the epitome of hospitality. When I told him this was my one shot to try New York pizza, he gave us great advice on what to try; we ended up with two pizzas--one with three meats to make a Texan happy, and the other with prosciutto, Kalamata olives, and portobello mushrooms. Both were delicious. The toppings were quality--but what really made the pies stand out was the crust, a product of their coal-fired oven and special wheat. Wow! It was crispy around the edges, al dente in the middle, with complex flavor and texture, just a little hint of char--magnificent! At the end of the meal, the fine gentleman brought a complimentary bowl of ice cream for my hosts' one-year-old son, and when he wrapped and bagged our few remaining slices, he gave me a complimentary bagel--which was the other thing I was determined to try in Brooklyn! All in all, a great experience. If you only eat at one place in Brooklyn, Patsy's Pizzeria should be it!

My wife and I ate at Patsy's last night before heading to a show at BAM and had a great experience. We sat in the back patio and split a Cappricciosa pizza. It was delicious and the service was excellent. Highly recommend.

The pizza is one of the most enjoyable in the city I have ever had. This is saying alot. The manager is very personable. The sides are great. Nice garden outdoor area in the back. Will be returning here.
Great atmosphere
Informal and cosy athmosphere in a beautiful setting in upper Midtown. The food was great Italian and not too fancy almost like in a big festive family gettogether, which also took place as we were there. Good price/guality.
