Great selection here, fried clams were tasty. Unique fries more like wedges. Good meal and the have calamari, shrimp, pizza .. even a Kanish. Everything you are looking for at the beach.

If you want to go to a nice place and receive fast service - then go to Paul's. Cute place and good food.

Stopped in here to get out of the sun and enjoy some beers & clams. Really great and fresh clams! I had a 1/2 dozen and they were delicious. Great location right on the boardwalk with ocean/beach view. My only compliant was there was some really drunk guy hanging out there at the bar harassing pretty much everyone and getting all touchy feel-y with the customers. This guy should NOT have been served as clearly he was wasted and disruptive to everyone around him. The bar tenders should know better than to serve guys like that. We would've stayed longer and spent more $ if not for that clown.

We had lunch here on our recent trip to NYC. Great hot dogs, fries, and calamari. Sitting in a shady spot on the boardwalk eating NYC comfort food....it was great!

The cherry stones and little necks were excellent, and have a knisch. The bar keep was attentive and Brooklyn summer ale is on tap. We also had a snack at Ruby's, don't bother, go to Paul's.

We had lobster roll, pizza and some funnel cake đ§ You can also have some drinks (with alcohol or without) and great food. There is some space to sit and eat as well, or sit on the wooden deck that stretches across the beach area of Coney Island.

Only a few seats at the counter bar â ordered ice-cold beers and a corn dog â a perfect boardwalk experience. Lots of nostalgic photos and history of this clam bar on the wall. Bartender was full of Coney Island stories.

Might be better than the rest of the fast food places you find her. But I would definetely not renommend this place! Pizza was bad, fries worse and unsalted and in the end I payed >30$ for the food. Save your money, add some money and walk some minutes for better food or bring your own.

Had the cheeseburger this time. I've also had the seafood. Clams, etc. Not bad. It's on the boardwalk. The food is good, but it's always sort of windy and things blow away. napkins, plastic ware, etc. Not that big of a deal but you have to basically weight everything down.

Longtime storefront on the boardwalk at Coney Island. Offers the standards like hot dogs, fries, pizza, but also good seafood choices, Usually not as crowded as a couple of the other veteran food choices here. Some exterior seating or you can just take it to the beach.

For adults, one of the things that can make Geno's Wonder Wheel bearable for a couple of hours is the quick duck-a-way to Paul's Daughter. Draft beer, clams on the half shell and Coney Island bikinis...

Had the best lobster roll I have ever had at Paul's Daughter. Friendly service, family restaurant and a great location at Coney Island.

Our bartender Gabriel was very attentive, the food is not spectacular and pricey, but everything in Cones Island is pricey. The view it is indeed spectacular, the sunset could have not been better in hot clear day of September, I really recommend this Coney Island beach bar, and restaurant to hang out with friends and family.

I only had fries, but wow they were good. Crinkly and crispy and just perfect. Looked like they were doing a strong trade in lots of other types of food and drink, although everything was a little more expensive than it should've been. I would've liked a beer but I didn't want to pay 8 dollars.

I love the fact that they have Crabbies Ginger Beer. The staff is nice. There are not a lot of seats at the bar, but there are tables out front. The fries are great. The other food is okay.

I came across Paul's Daughter when spotting a nice open bar on the boardwalk. To my surprise, they also served Lobster Rolls. I make a point to try lobster rolls any time I come across them and the lobster rolls here are the BEST I've ever had. I make the trip from Astoria, Queens several times during the season for several beers and just as many lobster rolls. The staff and ownership are very friendly. I'm getting hungry now just thinking about them. I can't wait to go back!!!

Paul's Daughter is located on the Coney Island, Brooklyn's Boardwalk, close to the Aquarium. The months of operation are Late March or early April to end of October. It has an outdoor Beach Bar that has stools to sit on, overlooking the beach. and an outdoor fast food eatery. food mainly take and go, no chairs or order it at the bar, seating is limited. The Beach Bar is overlooking the beach and you can be in sunlight. Its airy and nice. There is music, beer is nice & cold. They serve various tap beers as well as bottled beer.and the people are friendly Beers are pricey at $6.00 each. Basically, that s what all places charae on the BoardwalkThe food they offer is basically fast food except for good corn on the cob and I saw raw clams served but haven't tried them.

We went there on Sunday 10th with my husband and took a beer and fried clams. It looks good. Unfortunately my husband and I were both sick 2 hours later we had vomiting the clams and get diarrhea. In my opinion the seafood was not fresh at all and we get intoxicated. Just go to this place for the view and get something to drink but don t touch the food !!

On the Coney Island promenade overlooking the ocean big kiosk with tables, great Lobster Roll, good fried squid and beer that was all there, nice Mexicans now âfriendsâ I felt on vacation and in fact I was.

Just what Coney Island should be. Tasty boardwalk food and good beer. They even have Crabbies ginger beer which rocks. A few seats at the counter. Perfect night.

At Paulâs Daughter you can sit, relax and enjoy the hassle of Coney Island. There are a few drafts on tap, but not the regular ones. If possible try a River Horse Double Wit or if you are not feeling adventurous, a Brooklyn Lager. Have an ice cream, some clams of fries. And look at the Ocean! Nice to see the original signs and boards back at Paulâs which are restored by Brooklyn artist Stephen Gaffney. Who is coincidentally also behind the counter, if you are lucky!

The best option out of season, open on a November Tuesday. Despite the confused server, the lobster roll & local Blue Point beer were great! Good for a quick snack!

Have the range of customers changed at all since a certain Nobel prize winner painted Paul's Daughter in his painting Winter Boardwalk in the Beaten Path series? EDLIS Café

A trip to Coney Island is not complete without a dozen cherrystone clams on the half shell and PAUL'S DAUGHTER on the boardwalk just beside Luna Park never disappoints.

like going back in time walking along the seafront in coney island and had a great lunch from pauls daughters , really enjoyable and very friendly staff

We walked up and got a couple of soft serve cones, because no beachfront boardwalk experience is complete without an ice cream cone. The service was fast and friendly and pricing is about what you would expect for a beach location tourist spot. The ice cream was good but otherwise unremarkable. We had already eaten, so we did not get anything else, but they had a good selection of other food items. Great location and part of the Coney Island experience.

Forget the hotdogs and other junk food when visiting Coney Island. Paul's Daughter is my favorite of a handful of little bars along the boardwalk where you can sit in open air (but under a roof) and get a beer and some food. The only challenge at Paul's Daughter is finding a seat, but you can get food at the counter to eat at one of a handful of standing-only high tops or elsewhere on the boardwalk. Their lobster roll is phenomenal. They offer clams and some other delicacies as well (including hot dogs). Service was prompt and efficient, but far from personable. Conversations with other friendly customers compensated for it though. Credit card users take note that you can't tip on the credit card, so have some gratuity cash available.

Ordered a funnel cake and a bottle of water $9 when I got the funnel cake it wasnât fresh - feel like they put it in the microwave instead of frying me a new one - it had grill marks on the bottom.. disappointed

Great place on the boardwalk. Crazy opening weekend for Coney Island. We didnât eat just got a beer. Quick service and great having tables on the boardwalk!

As a frequent visitor to NY I often eat from $1 slice stands and hot food vans and have been fortunate not to ever had anything inedible...until now. We order 3 slices if pizza and a lemonade, the latter was cool and refreshing but the pizza was disappointing to day the least. It was like shop bought frozen oven pizza, cooked once and then reheated! The crust was dry and hard and the cheese had formed a plastic looking film over the top. Yes, the location is great, in the buzz of the boardwalk but the food is a major disappointment.

We visited Coney Island 1st November, knowing the attractions were shut. We just wanted to see the place and have a look around. You can get there by Subway from the middle of Manhattan. It was 21 degrees and Sunny, and we walked along the boardwalk and found this place. Sitting up at the bar having a few beers and frozen Pinacolada's in the Sun made it difficult to imagine we had visited NY in November! Great place, real history in the photo's up on the wall. Staff really friendly. Not sure how many tourists visit Coney Island from Times Square area, but we are so glad that we did.

We had lunch here followed by dinner at Tottono's (see review). The lobster roll came recommended and it was delicious. The lobster is beautifully flavoured and really well balanced with the sweetness of the bun. This is high class fast food. Happy days.

My daughter and I snagged a couple of slices of pepperoni pizza at Paul's Daughter and ate at one of their tables nearby. The crust was crispy and it was good for a quick snack.

All the best foods when you are visiting on a hot summer day. Lobster roll and soft serve are both DELISH!

The burger and fries were cold. I guess they make it ahead so people don't have to wait, but I would rather wait five minutes and get decent food. For $12 I expect more than a small cold burger with no toppings, a small order of cold fries, and a canned soda. Only giving 2 stars for the location. 1 for the food.

Paul's fries are the best! You simply must order fries & a soda (or beer) and enjoy a gorgeous ocean view. Also, the open bar makes for excellent people watching. The staff was very friendly, and knowledgeable on what they have on their menu. They have a variety of beers on tap as well as bottled. My friend had beer and I stuck with soda. We came back later in the afternoon and had an ice cream cone that was awesome! The restaurant is located on the boardwalk, so it's very convenient to grab a bite and stroll around.
Iconic Location
Sitting on the Boardwalk on a sunny September afternoon having a beer and a lobster roll at the iconic Pauls Daughter is just the best thing to do.
