Love to have afternoon tea while on vacation. This one was very nice. Loved the decorations in the room, the view, the pretty tea service and the funky tea tower. The ham sandwich and the curry sandwiches were to be expected, the truffle sandwich had no flavor and was a waste of time. The scones were good. The sweets, while tasty, did strike me as possibly store bought.

The presentation of the food was beautiful. The sandwiches were delicious, the scones were too. The desserts looked great but were just ok. Our server Alissa was excellent. Very helpful and knowledgeable. What I thought was so wrong was that they tacked on a $29.00 "service charge". When I asked what it was the server told me it was an 18% gratuity. There was only 2 of us. Totally tacky. I would have tipped more but since it was just added without my permission, I didn't. Would probably not recommend considering it was over $200.00.

I’d made a reservation a few weeks in advance for a party of four. When we arrived we were greeted by our hostess who seated us at a table with an amazing window view of the strip. The menu was available by simply taking a photo of the QR place card provided on the table, which was convenient. The tea selection had a nice range. I choose Chamomile and my sisters decided on the Mad Hatter. Champagne and sparkling wine was also available for purchase. I enjoyed the variety of finger sandwiches and desserts that the chef prepared. I especially liked the ham sandwiches and the Egg Gougère. The fresh scones were warm and served with butter and jam. Service was good and had a nice flow. We didn’t feel rushed, but we also didn’t feel as if our hostess wasn’t too far away if we needed anything. Due to Covid Masks were required. However, we could pull them down to drink tea and eat. It was a memorable experience. Great Tea, an amazing view, good menu and quality service. Seating for tea at that time was only available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. From 11:45am until 2:15pm. I would suggest to make a reservation a few weeks in advance. Valet parking is also available.

I may be a tea snob so please keep that in mind when reading my tea reviews. Tea Lounge is located in the Waldorf Astoria. They only have valet parking so be prepared. When you validate the parking at the Tea Lounge it will bring the total for valet from $20 to $10. You walk into the hotel and will notice that is is unlike all the other hotels in Vegas. There are no people or slot machines and no madness, it's really nice. The lounge is up on the 23 (or so) floor. The lounge is open and have huge windows looking out over the strip. The service was good. The tea selection was a little weak. I liked the presentation of the food but found the taste of the items to be average. I did think it was really neat how they had a scone warmer that kept your scones warm. I wish every tea place would do that!

A beautiful place to have High Tea. The lounge is on the 29th floor of the Waldorf Astoria on the Las Vegas strip. We were seated right by the window so we had a great view of the strip. They have many teas to choose from, which of course are served in exquisite tea pots. Your teacups and china plates are adorable. The food is fingerfoods, which includes different types of desserts, scones and sandwich. The presentation of the fingerfoods is like art. The service was excellent. Our hostess was extremely knowledable of the menu and the different teas. The only drawback is they do not serve enough food. So do not come hungry. A great experience!!

Very tasty offerings that you can substitute if you have food allergies, huge posts of tea with free refills. Amazing views of the strip, small intimate quiet setting, a Champagne Vending Machine, Instagramable, and most importantly great customer service.

Very creative sandwiches/desserts. A nice selection of teas. Basic, yummy scones. Great view (sat in the Sky Bar).

Pros: There were a nice variety of teas to choose from. The food was delicious, particularly the scones. The mimosas were strong, reasonably priced for an endless option, and refilled quickly. The waitress was very nice. Cons: Our reservation was at 2:00pm. We arrived promptly at 2:00 and were in the elevator with another group going to the Tea Lounge. When we arrived, there was a line of several people making up 5-6 other groups waiting to be seated. Everyone had a 2:00pm reservation. The first people who had checked in were not seated until 2:10. We were the last to be seated and it was 2:30 before we were. I am not sure what was taking the hostess so long to seat everyone as the space is not large. They were out of one of the teas (the one I wanted, unfortunately). They also ran out of the large teapots and my husband and I each had a tiny one which was never refilled. I would give this place another try, possibly once they are in their space that is currently being remodeled. I would recommend arriving 15-20 minutes early, if only to be the first ones to check in so you get seated reasonably close to your reservation time.

While the location and atmosphere of this lounge is great, the overall management style and customer service is lacking. Upon arrival my family and I requested a table near the large windows. There was only one 4 person table available near the glass. The lady working the front desk informed us “sorry the tables are all pre determined and cannot be moved.” We we’re satisfied with this answer and thanked her. However, once we were sat down, we noticed her seating a group of 3 down at the table and asking if this table was okay for them. While odd, this still didn’t bother us and we went about our tea. But as time passed, we saw the staff accommodating others and allowing table and seat changes for 3 other groups to window adjacent seats. It was clear that the tables were not pre determined and customers were treated unequally. I brought the issue up to the manager in charge and while he apologized, he was very argumentative saying it was hard to move a 4 seat table as opposed to a 2 table seat. It was clear he wasn’t listing to me as I was more bothered by the lie of “seats were predetermined and set.” My advice to the Waldorf is to train their staff better on how to deal with customers. The staff must be on the same page and shouldn’t argue with customers. We just paid 300 dollars for tea, I did not come here to argue with staff over table arrangements. Nonetheless, I informed him I will take the bill in full and do not wish for any compensation for the inequality. I just want them to move forward treating their customers with equality and not create double standards. I will not return to this establishment nor can I recommend it to anyone else due to the cracks in the foundation of the customer service and experience at the tea lounge.

The room is lovely but better suited for a cocktail lounge as opposed to a Tea Room. The service was very good at first but then disappeared. The food was very good and suited to a tea service. The cost was excessive. I will not recommend the experience to friends.

I have been there twice, in 2019 and 2024, for the vegan gluten free afternoon tea it was about the same both times. Sandwich's a little dry, scones with jam great, 2 chocolate covered strawberries very good, banana cupcake was good , and coconut tapioca pudding with mango was fantastic. A little concerned the 2nd time I went the waiter asked if we could have the regular and vegan- gluten on the same plates. I said no and they were plated separately, since I'm celiac and allergic to dairy(not anaphylactic though). Luckily, the food seems to be safe. I had no bad reactions both times. My Husband has been to the Tea lounge many more times than me during trade shows to take customers out for something different for lunch. His British co-worker approves of the Devonshire( clotted) cream and scones. It has always been good, with quick seating at the time of the reservation. Not sure how I feel about the rename, just hope afternoon stays the same or gets better.

I’ve been having afternoon high tea here with my girlfriends since the venue belonged to the Mandarin Oriental. The ambiance is exceptional in true Waldorf style and the scones and teas are delightful!

Exceptional service, delicious scones (2 types) multiple savories to enjoy and delightful deserts presented with class. The homemade lemon curd is amazing as always. Matcha Macron ooo yumm. Fresh and luxurious a must visit. This time we got a seat at the window to enjoy the view!! Although changed from MO brand to Hilton last yr the tea lounge has maintained its ranking in my book and remains my number one spot for formal tea in US.

Outstanding afternoon tea service at the Waldorf Astoria… great ambience, spectacular views, excellent service & good food. Decent prices too… the scones were so good, served on heat packs to keep warm. I’d be back in a heartbeat… loved it

Absolutely fantastic. I went with my mum for my birthday. We had a window table and the view was amazing especially watching the sun go down. I can recommend the bottomless mimosa. The food was lovely and the service excellent. I would definitely go again. A must, the memory will stay with me. Thank you for making the day special.

The Tea Lounge at the Waldorf Astoria Vegas feels like stepping into a cloud where time slows down, and the only thing that matters is sipping liquid gold while staring dramatically at the skyline. The tea is perfection, the pastries are little bites of luxury, and for a brief moment, I considered abandoning my worldly possessions to live among the tea towers forever. If you need an escape from the chaos of the Strip, this is your sanctuary—just be warned, you may never want to leave.

My cousin and I enjoyed afternoon tea at the Waldorf Astoria tea Lounge earlier this month. We were very fortunate to be seated at a table right next to the huge windows overlooking the Las Vegas strip. When you sit down, the table presentation is so pretty. Then you look at the tea menu and have to choose from a large selection of teas. I had the matcha and my cousin had the English breakfast tea. Our server was Jingle and I must say our service was over the top. She was very attentive. After she brought us our tea and delicious food before we started to eat, she was very happy to take photos of us. I have been here a few times and will be back again. I like the little scone warmer as well as the variety of spreads for the scones including lemon curd, Devonshire Cream, and Homemade Berry Jam. All of the food was very tasty from the tea sandwiches to the scones to the desserts . Who knew afternoon tea could be so filling? Located on the 23rd floor of the Waldorf, the view from the lounge is simply stunning, with floor-to-ceiling windows providing a breathtaking panoramic of the strip.

Our afternoon tea experience at the newly opened Peacock Alley fell well below expectations. Things started off poorly from the moment we arrived. We had a 1:00 PM reservation for a party of three and arrived at 1:02 PM, only to find complete chaos. Guests were crowded in front of the elevators, no one seemed to know what was going on, and the noise level was overwhelming. It wasn’t clear whether we needed to check in, where to line up, or what the process was. The woman at the desk was unhelpfully staring at her tablet without acknowledging guests or making any announcements. Eventually, a man began quietly calling names, and we realized we needed to check in. After checking in, we waited 27 minutes to be seated—despite having a reservation. Once seated, it took another 15 minutes before our server came to take our order. For those unfamiliar with afternoon tea, the food is traditionally served cold, preprepared, and the menu is set—that’s expected. This setup makes it entirely inexcusable that after ordering it still took an additional 25 minutes for our food to arrive. We didn’t begin eating until after 2:10 PM. We ate quickly, paid the bill, and left as soon as we could. While the new Peacock Alley is visually stunning and offers a spectacular view of the Strip, the experience did not live up to the Waldorf Astoria brand—or the premium price. Save your money and spend your time elsewhere while in Vegas.

We arrived while walking from the Aria and I must say the entrance is underwhelming and a litte off putting, But the red Tesla's are a nice pop of color. We were not greeted when we entered the lobby and just figured we could hit the elevator and see where it takes us. Obvious lack of security. However we found ourselves in the Tea room qute qucikly. Having no interest in tea I proceeded to the hostess desk but while while walking I notice quite a assortment to tea type deserts, kids in fancy clothes, parents, couples and groups all having a splendid time libating over the tea! It really looked very nice. But I was on a misson for adult beverages. The hostess directed us to the bar where we meet Josephine who quite expertly quided us through the cocktail menu. H?er knowledge of the selections was quite good down to the flavors of each drink. I had the Atomic, It was perfect, sweet, smooth, bitey and fit the scene well. The view looks in three directions north east and south. Take the seats looking back at the Paris Hotel other wise you will only be counting the Southwest planes as they take off. Overall the tea room looked exactly like it should people dressed for tea, little sandwiches and cookies but the drnks are better in the lounge.

It may be difficult to get a reservation, but worth the effort. There are about a dozen tables so it will not be crowded. Ask for a window view if available as you are on the 23rd floor of the Waldorf-Astoria. The hotel is doing rework on the entrance, so ask a staffer for directions to elevator to Tea Lounge. Serice was impeccable, tea options numerous and food was amazing. If you have never had "high tea" this is the place for it. Not cheap, but worthwhile experience. Would visit again.

We arrived late in the afternoon and you could tell the staff was tired, they were adamant no food! Service had ended, told them we just wanted tea and was told okay, as long as we understood no food. Whatever, had a nice table looking at the strip, two pots of tea for $32.oo, noticed a female patron literally passed out two tables away, mouth open snoring, staff ignored. Went to use ladies room met with horrible odor even for a bathroom, trough sink filled with vomit and about to run over as people continued to wash hands in a sink that would not drain, HOW NASTY!! Went out told host team sink was in above condition and it was about to become an even bigger mess when it overflows if someone didn't act quickly, they looked at me like I had two heads and went back to their business, no phone to EVS nothing!! By this time I was shocked, I thought the Waldorf was nice place, apparently not any different than any other LV strip hotel, vomit is just all in a days events. Will not stay or return.
DO NOT GO until 29th floor is renovated!!!
DO NOT GO until they have renovated the 29th floor!! I didnt read the website very well, but it stated that until the 29th floor was renovated, the high tea would be on the 23rd floor in the Twist restaurant. Although the tea choices and sandwiches etc were all very nice -- absolutely no view and not a feeling of high tea. Service was excellent - but again -- not that high tea experience. I will go again when they have renovated - but not worth going until then.
