Had pizza margarita and involtini. Huge portions, delicious food prepared in huge brick oven. This restaurant is all about flavour, no foodsnobbery here. Kind, attentive service.

Have been to Peppino's a few times and if you are looking for delicious, authentic Italian food, you can't go wrong with this place. My husband enjoyed the salmon with broccoli rabe, others in our party had calzones, pizza with sausage and broccoli, grilled chicken hero with fresh basil, roasted peppers and mozzarella. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. Portions are big! It's not far from the Barclays Center (by car) and in fact, this will be our restaurant of choice whenever we are at the Barclays for a concert. Truly a gem in the Park Slope area!

Small and friendly Italian. Excellent pizza - highly recommended. Diavolo pizza was wonderful. Large pizza suitable for a couple.

I love this place. The pizza is delicious, the food amazing, consistently good. The service is like none other (no one is standing in the corner texting, everyone is very attentive). The only downside, Peppino's serves a bread before the meal comes and no matter how hard I try I can't stop eating it. Visit Peppino's, you won't be disappointed. You may have to wait for a table but it's never long and well worth the wait.

Used to go to this place in Bay Ridge a fair bit, but don't like the area much. Opening in a more popular area with the same great pizzas and breads made a difference over the years. Have ordered in from many a bar, too!

They have good pizza and great sandwiches and it's been here for years. If your stay by Park slope, Brooklyn. The prices are reasonable and it's a family place, if you want to have dinner or Sunday brunch.

Came here on a Saturday with my husband as we tried to do our own impromptu pizza tour of Brooklyn. Really impressed by the staff, service and quality of food. Great experience. Love that you have the option of four, six, eight slices of pizza! We got the six slices and did half marguerita, half diavola and really enjoyed it. I love the sausage on the diavola. Nice thin crispy crust. Also had Peroni on draft, which was so refreshing on a hot summer day.

We were in Brooklyn to see Barbra Striesand and wanted to find a pizza place within walking distance of our hotel. Peppino's was just a few blocks away and it was outstanding. The atmosphere was cozy and quaint. There were a number of specials that sounded really good, but we went with the Diavalo pizza with spicy sausage, black olives and fresh mozarella. The crust was a perfect blend of crispy with a little bit of chewiness. It was absolutely delicious! We had the garlic crisps for our appetizer and they were great, too. It was a generous portion for only $3.75. Our server was very friendly and patient, especially with the table next to us who could not seem to decide what they wanted. I highly recommend Peppino's, you won't be disappointed.

The wood fired pizzas are excellent and the pasta is very good. The portions are very big. The small pizza is huge. My wife and I shared a small pizza and shared a pasta and could eat it all. Even the glass of wine was filled to the brim. Service is very good. A ver casual atmosphere. You won't be disappointed.

Once a standard local NY pizza place (which is still better than pizza in most other areas - and way better than the pizza chains), the place closed down and reopened as a branch of a Bay Ridge favorite. This is real brick oven pizza -- craft made, with excellent salads and other mains available. But, you come here for the pizza and you are richly rewarded. Really crispy thin crust, excellent cheese and real tomato sause (not some canned over-sweet red sauce). This place has really raised the bar in the neighborhood (other brick oven and coal oven pizza places have recently opened, but Peppino's in the South Slope is the best of them.

Best NY pizza in Brooklyn and among the very best for the whole of NYC... Very reasonably priced, proper family establishment. Do what the locals do and have Peppino's pizza

We had dinner at Peppino’s and enjoyed the pizza and experienced good customer service. Definitely recommend this place for pizza!

Ordered a small Custom pizza to be delivered. Was given an hour window & it came sooner. Delivery man was nice & polite. The pizza was just ok, a little too greasy for my taste. We are not from NY so perhaps this is the norm, Really found nothing special about it, especially for $26.33 for the 6 piece. The slices are really large.

Went for dinner... Immediately greeted by the staff. Offered drinks while we waited. Once seated gave us complimentary bruschette just because we waited! And it was delicious!! Fresh and flavorful! Just about described everything we ordered - which consisted of clams and more clams, Ceasar salad, a pasta dish, one whole margherita pizza and two half pizzas - pizza alla vodka and marinara diavola. There is nothing I would recommend over the other. They are all THAT good!!! Brooklyn pizza at its best!!! Thin crusted but not cardboard. Jut the right amount of "chewiness" per my Boyfriend. Best I've tasted!! And would definitely make my way back!

An authentic puece of italy woyh no modified receipts in park slope brooklyn ny. A friend introduced it. Authenyic yrattoria style, family oriented, clean place with affordable prices. The pizza is out of this mind. The service is friendly. A must visit.

stopped by for a perronni beer and some garlic crisps with marinara. Delicious marinara. So, we decided to order the pizza and had it delivered and the pizza came and didn't have much taste which was baffling. So we decided to go and eat in and had the most amazing lunch. I had the meatball hero/grinder/sub and it was excellent, top notch, we also tried the steak pizziaola hero and a personal sized pizza all excellent. The food was so good that even though we were full we kept eating because it was so tasty. I explained to the friendly waitress that our delivered pizza didn't meet our expectations, she explained that sometimes the time in the box and the steam takes some of the flavor out. So she put a small complementary margarita pizza on the table and said she had an extra one. What a nice move. It was truly delicious and our table gobbled it up in no time. So, I would say to go in and enjoy the food. The place has a nice ambiance with brick walls and the vibe of a local pizzeria italian restaurant. Great for a quick meal or a family with kids. We would definitely go back.

It is located on 5th avenue near 11th street in Brooklyn. It has baby pizza with 4 slices and larger pizzas with 6 and 8 slices. We took the special pizza which does not appear in the menu. The name is Arogula pizza and I strongly recommend it especially for those who do not like to eat heavy stuff. It was also very tasty.

This low key restaurant serves some of the best pizza in New York. Throw in delicious salads, warm bread fresh from the oven, generous portions of delicious pastas, all served at reasonable prices, and what's not to like? Staff is extremely friendly too! Love this place!

A slice of heaven in the Slope Must say the food was amazing!! The staff incredibly professional and attentive! A local place where the vibes is so friendly and comfortable the owner Tony !! Your the Bomb!! You really take pride In your business !!your hospitality was on and point your genuinely a good person!! Thanks for a piece of Italy in the slope !!!

We were out of town visitors joining our son who had "discovered" this restaurant. The food was consistently delicious. The special "whole fish" was amazing--fresh and simple and tasty. Salads and soups were plentiful and savory. The bread served was great. The pizza is not inexpensive, but definitely still a value, with high quality ingredients and great taste. The servers were friendly and helpful. Tony the manager came to talk to us to see that we had enjoyed our meal. Next to us was a large table of local couples having what must have been a customary get together for friendship and great food. We wish we could find an Italian restaurant like this in California to start a tradition like that. Note: The Tripadvisor map erroneously shows this restaurant in Manhattan. It is in Brooklyn.

Good food, friendly and Attentive service, and large portions all at reasonable prices. Pizza is very good, Eggplant Parm is among the best in the city, thin, light and tasty. Shrimp oreganata has jumbo Shrimps on top of a flavorful pasta, perfectly prepared and wonderfully tasty. Chicken Parm and Bruschetta too are a treat each wonderfully prepared with portions more than one should finish in one meal

Very well cooked italian pizza from Napoli. No difference between Italy and Brooklyn. Compliments to Tonino and his guys!

Their takeout and delivery takes a while but it is well worth the wait. The food is always excellent. The pizza has all the right ratios of cheese sauce toppings. The crust is thin and crisp. Their side are also great. Their eggplant side makes several meals and is excellent. The eggplant is thin and layered with a ton of eggplant and sauce. The calzones are great too. All the food is excellent. Great neighborhood pizza place.

Very friendly service and reliably good food. Side of vegetables (sauteed in oil and garlic - very tasty) a nice alternative to the usual side of pasta. The eggplant Parmesan, penne a la vodka (with peas and prosciuto) and tuna salads were all hits at the table. We hadn't been here for a few years and were reminded why we like the place!

The dinner at Pepino's in Brooklyn, New York was excellent. The Pizza was one of the best I have had. Mussels were excellent. Meals are reasonably priced and service was excellent. Recommend.

I have been eating here regularly since they opened. I love the wood fired oven pizza. Ingredients are fresh, service is great and it is a nice place to be. Last time I was there picking up a pizza to go, a guy drove up and told me that he always got their Philly Cheesesteaks in the Bay Ridge location and they were the best this side of Philly. Got one today and absolutely agree. Now I am going to have to chose between their great pizza and their great Cheesesteak sandwich. That is going to be hard.

This was a great discovery a few months ago and we have returned over and over since. The pizza is great and we love the Chicken Parm. They use the pizza dough to make the rolls for the hero's - a welcome and delicious change from the norm!

Hands down THE best pizza in Brooklyn, wow. Stumbled into this place, and glad I did. Had the Margherita pizza which was over the top. And the bruchetta WOWOW. To die for. Try it. You won't be sorry you did.

My two teenage sons and I stayed in Brooklyn for a few days to visit friends in the city, and one night while we were out shopping and exploring the beautiful Park Slope area, we happened upon this gem. The restaurant was small and cozy (perfect on a very cold February night) and had the most delicious pizza we have ever eaten. If we were Park Slope residents, this would be a very frequent dining location for our family!

Food was amazing everything was fresh. Central location for where I was staying. Only thing I was ask is that they offer at least another white wine.

One of the best pizzas in Brooklyn. Try the Margherita or the Diavola with a Caesar salad. Ask for the Artichoke soup (it's not on the menu) served with garlic flatbread...food porn at its best. The cheesesteak sandwich isn't bad either.

Excellent brick oven baked pizza. Had a Pizza with garlic, olives, breaded eggplant(delicious) and mushrooms. Great service and recommendations.

Peppino's is consistently delicious with daily specials, friendly staff, big portions at a reasonable price. House white and red wines and beer. We eat here once a week and they never disappoint. Freshly baked pizza dough bread is incredibly delicious.

Recently had dinner here with my hair stylist after getting my hair cut/colored with her. Since my I was the last customer for the day and my stylist didn't have lunch, I figured why not go grab something to eat so we can catch up. She suggested Italian so we went to Peppino's for dinner. The place was crowded the minute we got there, so we waited about five to ten minutes and then the waitress showed us to our table. Since my friend has eaten there before she recommended the grilled chicken cesar salad. I wasn't in the mood for anything too heavy so I ordered the grilled chicken caesar as well. OMG, can I just say this was one of the best grilled chicken caesar salads I've ever had. I don't know what to say.....it was just a regular grilled chicken caesar that you can get anywhere, but theirs was sooo flavorful!! While my friend was telling me a story during dinner, I was inhaling this salad as if it was my last meal. It was soooo delicious!!! And if the place was packed, you know the food is good!!!! The caesar came with garlic pita bread wedges that reminded me of naan.....oh my, I want to go back just for the salad!!! If you want to have a salad, stop by Peppino's!!!

We went to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden and Prospect Park yesterday morning, and we chose to eat here for lunch since it was nearby. It's a small restaurant and they were busy, but we were seated right away. Service was friendly and quick, and the pizza was good and affordable. We ordered a large margherita which came with 8 big slices and it was perfect for the two of us who were very hungry after walking in the heat all morning. The total was about $21 for the pizza (we just ordered water for drinks). It was a typical thin crust New York style pizza that's handmade with fresh ingredients, and we could see the cooks making the pizzas and placing them in the brick oven. I wouldn't say it's the best we've had in Brooklyn, but it was still delicious and I wouldn't hesitate to go back if I'm in the area again.

I ordered the Dovolina brick oven pizza. Was absolutely delicious. I'd you're in Brooklyn and want to get away from traditional greasy pizza, definitely give Peppinos great quality and taste a try.

Had a nice pasta meal in this nice local neighborhood eatery. Really good food whether it's Pizza, calzone or pasta dishes.

The pizza here is excellent, and the atmosphere is very appropriate for bringing your family. And, the pricing is very reasonable!!! Great place! I will be back!!!

We always order from this place and today we got a pizza alla vodka w/ chicken and it was very dry.... no sauce!! I called to complain and they wouldn't even send over a new pie. I wasn't happy with the pizza and how the manager handled the issue. And all he offered was a $5 credit which doesn't even amount to what we spent on the large pie which was $27.95. That's one way to loose valued customers.

We live nearby and eat here a couple times a week. This is not a fancy place, but the food is far better than many expensive places I've eaten at. First of all, the wood oven pizzas are fantastic. We love the margherita (add proscuitto!) and the pizza specials such as arugula pizza. The pasta portions are enormous and delicious. Simple food, prepared well. The entrees and specials are often excellent too! Be sure to check the special board. The service is very attentive and thoughful.

Being Italian, if there is one particular food type that we are good at rating, that's pizza. After ordering we were offered a basket of freshly baked bread which was very very good! We tried three different baby pizzas: the veggie pie, the diavola and the capricciosa. The dough was delicious: thin but not overly crunchy and absolutely not soggy in the middle. The toppings were good but not what I was expecting. In Italy, the diavola (or devil's pizza) is the equivalent of the American pepperoni pizza and is supposed to be hot and spicy. This topping was not hot at all. The veggie pie could have had a richer variety of vegetables but all in all it was very tasty. The capricciosa was good but somehow did not win me over. I loved the fact the the pizzas were cooked in a brick oven and that they were not greasy or oily. The restaurant is very clean. The atmosphere is South Italian. The personnel was very quick, professional and friendly. The bathroom is clean and spacious but there is no changing table...

We turned up halloween night to carb load pre the nycmarathon. It was busy, we had no booking and no US cell phone for a call back. It wasn't a problem. The most helpful decent staff I've ever come across made sure to look after us. I can't compliment enough. Then the food was pretty good too. Double bonus. Thanks 🍀

If you are looking for a place to go in Brooklyn we can recommend this place. Pizza and Pasta for a moderate price in a nice atmosphere.

I just had a slice of their cheese pizza to walk around Brooklyn but it was hot and delicious - that new york style paper thin crispy crust and not too much cheese or sauce. Good walking around food.

Great place. Generous portions. Chicken parmagiana was very crispy (the way I like it!). And it has simply the best bruschetta I've ever tasted. Next time, I will just order that and a good salad. :)

We chose this location due to the proximity from our hotel. We were not disappointed. We arrived just prior to the dinner hour. Walked in and seated ourselves. Our server came over and took our beverage orders. They offered an assortment of beer and wine and also had some beer on draft, but they did not have limes for their Coronas. We decided to order a large veggie pizza sans the sun-dried tomatoes. We added spinach and Greek olives to their standard veggies of green onions, peppers, mushrooms, fresh basil, and mozzarella. (If I had known the spinach was frozen, I would've left it off.) We also decided to share a house salad. It was big enough to share. They even divided it up in two servings for us. Their balsamic dressing was very good! The romaine salad also had cherry tomatoes, onions, red peppers, and Greek olives. It was served with a wonderful side of garlic bread. The pizza came out and was huge! It was hot and fresh and outstanding! Our server was very friendly and attentive.

The manager at the hotel recommended this spot for a good ole Italian dinner and it was worth the two blocks of a walk.

All our Park Slope residents recommend Peppinos as the best neighborhood pizza place. My wife and I agree. The crust was crisp and chewy and the toppings were fresh. Even though we are Chicagoans, we would happily come back for another slice of New York pizza. Service was friendly. Kid friendly.

I eat at Peppino's every once in a while, but every time I pass by, I want to eat there again. It's a sitdown pizza/italian joint (order by the pie, not the slice), and everything is delicious. If you aren't getting pizza, then make sure you get bread with your meal, because the bread is outstanding (i think they make it out of pizza dough).

I was walking around looking for a place to have some good Italian food, I came across this place and I realized I've seen it before - they have a location in Bay Ridge - i went inside and ordered a antipasto and a pizza - it was amazing - they werent cheap with the helpings - the antipasto was delish - i had fresh caprice salad, artichokes, salami, prosciutto - the best garlic crisps - everything was mouth watering. The pizza then came out in perfect timing. The crust was crunchy and chewy at the same time - It was perfect. The sauce was succulent and the toppings were wonderful. Mouth watering goodness. I was hooked. I visited several more time - only to find out how AMAZING their pasta dishes are - the linguine with seafood in a spicy red sauce was spectacular, and my 3rd visit i got the penne ala vodka with peas and prosciutto. This place can never go wrong - i urge you to visit it if your ever in the mood for amazing Italian food.

An Airbnb glitch temporarily stranded us near a rather plain stretch of 5th Avenue in Park Slope. After a hard day of travel, in search of sustenance, we passed Peppino’s. We looked in. There were tables. In mid-afternoon people were sitting at some of the tables. Inside we found a friendly staff, a serious wood-fired brick oven pizza operation, a full Italian menu, and some great throwback wall decoration. The pizza is fabulous. Peppino’s is a rare establishment that is exactly what it professes to be. It was a special pleasure to stumble on this gem, though, of course, we learned later that it’s a popular neighborhood oasis.
Great Food, great Service
Went in for lunch with co-workers, small pace , nice atmosphere. Server was very attentive gave great service. Ordered the special, linguine with Calamari , it was a little pricey but two could have easily shared the dish, had a lot of calamari, sauce was delicious. will definitely go there again when in the area.
