great food and a good time , not to loud so you could carry on a conversation. not to crowded . great service , would come back.

We made reservation for 8, 6 adults and two pre-teen boys. When we arrived we where seated in a private dinning space. It was very nice. Had it's own temp and sound controls. This was totally unexpected but greatly appreciated. The service was first class and the food was very nice with great flavors and a very appealing plating. The children 's menu was simple but offered a bit of everything. The desserts ordered were prepared table side and kept the boys entertained, plus it was excellent. We all had a very nice private Easter Brunch without the mess at home and worrying about who eats what. I would do this again. It was pricey but priceless in the time it allowed us to spend quality time together as a family.

Beautiful Restaurant and bar with great service and lunch menu. Of course, even the lunch pork chop is enough for two and the Brussel sprouts were a meal themselves. The burger was also deemed very good!

Great Steaks and cooked as requested. Nice atmosphere and friendly helpful staff. Known also for their pork chops.

My wife and I first visited Perry’s Steakhouse in Friendswood shortly after they first opened. We lived in Texas then and went there occasionally, enjoying each visit. We left Texas in 1998 and moved to Alabama. My wife was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer New Years Day 2019. We have been going to MD Anderson in Houston for her treatment and when our kids asked if we would like to go to Perry’s for dinner, we recalled old forgotten memories and said YES. I have to tell you, my wife and I have dined all over the world in some very fine restaurants and when we entered Perry’s at Baybrook, we were what you might call “underdressed” in today’s environment, yet we were greeted with the most professional courtesy and experienced one of the finest steak dinners and polite professional service we have ever experienced. The Perry family knows how to do things, THE RIGHT way, top to bottom.

If you are looking for a classy, high end restaurant in the Clear Lake area for a special occasion, this is it. It doesn't get more high end that here. And you'll pay for it too. The food is great. Service is great. Portions are great. So why not five stars? As much as everything about Perry's is great it's hard to rate the place without considering the price. Is it worth it as a proportion of increasing cost vs value? This is a difficult one but ultimately no. There are slightly less classier places for much cheaper prices. But if price is not a concern than you will enjoy Perry's. You will pay 100 dollars per person easily with a main, side dishes, drinks and a dessert.

I was a regular at the "old" Perry's on Bay Area Blvd. The food is still excellent but more expensive. The restaurant is noisy--not nearly as intimate as the previous location. I miss the ambiance of the old one. I now prefer to eat at the Perry's in Friendswood ==better prices and a quieter atmosphere--you can actually talk to those at your table without raising your voice!

The first impression is one of unrelenting noise. My iPhone decibel app showed a peak reading of 86db with an average of 80.5 db. (86db is the same as that experienced in a Ferrari F-40 at full acceleration). My wife ordered the scallops appetizer which were overdone. I would have sent them back. The waiter seemed miffed that I did not order wine or other alcoholic drink at the onset. I requested iced tea with my meal. When the food arrived I reminded him of the tea, and again 5 minutes later as he was attending to customers at an adjacent table. When he did arrive with the beverage, I was 7/8ths finished with the meal when he brought the drink. I declined telling him that if he couldn't serve it with the meal it was no longer needed.

The highlight of dining at Perry's at Baybrook was that Barry Talley sang and played piano. Food and drinks were fine but nothing we couldn't get at numerous other (and less expensive) places. Will go back to hear him any time!

The Steaks are top quality and delicious! It's not cheap, but worth the money! We are looking forward to the next time :-)

This place consider to be one of my favorite restaurant at Baybrook Mall for sure. However, their standards had changed in the few visits ( 4 times since June 2919). Food does not taste that fresh anymore. Service is being so slow at the point that we will forget what actually we ordered!. Staff are not that friendly nor professional. We visited in August 1st celebrating good news, the waiter came, and gave us a look, and left, after few minutes, the manager came apologized, and we had another waiter to take care of us. However, many waiters served our food, and we did even know who our waiter was. It was last Thursday night, so they were not crowded at all. I ordered lobster bisque soup, and it came very salty, so I had to return it back. The waiter was very rude, and unprofessional, and every time he gave us a Plate or added water, I will say thank you, and he won’t hurt himself to answer back! It was a very unpleasant experience which let me question what happen in their management and stuff in the last few months. I am going for sure to put a hold on visiting this place any soon.

Beautiful romantic dinner! Called ahead of time and reserved table, I let them know it was our anniversary and to my surprise we had rose 🌹 petals on our table. Outstanding service and food was great. Drinks are beautifully presented. Bananas Foster was awesome!

We came here for dinner with friends. It was a great night out. We had a great waitress that made for a very pleasant dinning experience. The food was on point and they have one amazingly huge pork chop! My pork chop was the last entree to be placed on our table and everyone lost their minds! This is not a cheap meal for dinner, so you might want to check their lunch specials if you're on a budget.

This is another place that I enjoy dinner in the bar. Live music, drinks and people watching. Food is always good.

Good for business meetings as well as casual dinner with friends and family. We like to walk over when it is nice and get take out to eat on their small front patio. BBQ sausage, steak, and hamburgers are all excellent.

Way overpriced. You can get the same items from Perry's grill in Friendswood and in Scarsdale for much less. You are paying for the location.

This was not worth the money. We went on a a Saturday evening so we understand that they were extremely busy. But we felt that our waitress was non existent. I order the Kabob, and although it looked amazing, most of the food was cold. And there is nothing worse than cold lobster. The dish came with asparagus, if you could taste them as they were literally covered in pepper. The pork ribs were impressive though. Still we don't think we'll go back.

The Perry’s experience has declined substantially since their move from Bay Area Boulevard location to the new Baybook location. My party of four adults dined on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at 7:30PM at a 4-top in the Bar, which was not at all busy at that time. What did not go in a way that I would expect from Perry’s and would expect from the prices: • Several minutes passed between the time we were seated (right at 7:30) and the time we were greeted by our server; I would estimate this was about 10 minutes. • Once we were greeted, the server asked for drink orders but did not ask whether we would like appetizers. I stopped the server to say we would like an appetizer along with our drinks. • We waited another 10 minutes or so for our drinks to arrive, and only then did the server notify us that they were “all out” of the house Cabernet we had ordered. • When our wine arrived to the table it was clear that we were being served 5-ounce pours instead of the 7.5-ounce pours we had ordered. Server had already put the wine on the table when I mentioned “these are not 7.5 ounces”,server picked the glasses back up off the table to go retrieve the rest of what we had ordered! Why not leave the wine she brought to us, and follow up with a 5-ounce carafe, given that we had already waited so long for no apparent reason? • The appetizer we ordered, the fried asparagus, very lightly dressed (in a bad way) with the usual lemony dressing. The crab topping was generous, but we definitely missed the bit of sauce that is standard for this appetizer. • Three of us ordered salads, one of us ordered soup. The soup was excellent (French Onion), however our salads (two Caesar and one Wedge) were very over-dressed. I love dressing, and even I felt that there was way too much dressing on my Wedge salad. • For entrée two of our party ordered the pork chop. It’s been my experience that during the tableside carving, the server offers to explain the 3 different cuts as part of the carving service. We were not offered that explanation for this visit, which was disappointing specifically because one of our party that ordered the pork chop has not previously had that experience, it was his first “famous pork chop”. • I ordered loaded whipped potatoes as my entrée. They were not hot when they were served; they were nearly room temperature. • One side dish we ordered (macaroni and cheese) did not arrive until we literally were finished eating our entrees, and there was no apology when it was delivered to us by our server! The server, astonishingly, volunteered (again without apology) that she had forgotten to ring it up when she placed the order for the entrees! • Dirty/empty plates were left on our table at the end of the meal. It was sort of like whatever the server decided she could clear in one visit was all that she was going to clear. I moved the remaining empty/dirty plates and glasses to the table adjacent to ours in response, and I actually saw our server walk by that table empty handed and did not pick up those dirty dishes. • Two of our party had dessert included in their orders (pork chop Sunday special includes soup/salad, pork chop, and a dessert trio). About 20 minutes elapsed between the time we ordered dessert and the time it arrived at the table. I did speak with a manager, and the manager apologized and did adjust our check by about 25%. We don’t have confidence, however, that our next experience will be any better than this one. Way too many things went in a way that don’t meet the expectation we have given the price. 20% of our pre-adjusted check came to a tip worth $40. I think if were a server, and my job for an hour and a half is to make one table’s experience the way Perry’s ownership expects for their guests to receive, and that I would walk away with $40 for that amount of effort, I would try a lot harder. Our experience was very, very disappointing and we will be going elsewhere from now on to spend our hard-earned money.

Visited the Perry’s Steakhouse with family. The service from the time we entered till we left was fabulous. The food was five star and arrived at the table like it was just off the stove/grill.

Thought that maybe my last visit was a fluke (a bad one) so thought I'd try again. Noise level through the roof, not enough bartenders to take care of patrons at the bar and at the tables...food disappointing again. I SO miss the old Perry's.

Perfect steak, perfect Lamb chops. Needed a vegan dinner special made. Results a perfect Vegan plate. Excellent service.

This was our return to fine dining after the pandemic hit -- and it hit a home run. A birthday occasion, we were looking for special and safety, and they did not disappoint. Masks, hand sanitizer and spacing were in place and the surroundings were lovely. Service was excellent. We took advantage of their July anniversary special, 4 for $44, which had 4 courses. We recommend the asparagus with crab as an appetizer, hot bread (included), the filet mignon is great, and for dessert, the flourless chocolate cake and the butterscotch budino were wonderful. The portions were generous and we had enough leftovers for another meal at home.

Make sure to book a reservation, even the bar gets very busy! I had Surf & Turf Pasta that was delicious. A yummy sauce with tomato chunks, tender beef slices and a small lobster tail. Our friend had Bone-In Cowboy Cut Steak that was a perfect medium rare with melted butter over the top mmmmm. The service was impeccable and the manager came around and greeted everyone. The atmosphere is classy, just a great dining out experience!

We dined here with friends for a special occasion, the food and service was excellent but the piano music was so loud we could not enjoy conversation with our friends, if we ever go back I will insist on a quiet table, when you spend almost $00 for dinner you expect the experience to be more pleasant.

Their pork chop is outrageously good. Easily enough for two people and great taste. We've also had the steak and it is one of the best steaks we've had.

The beef, the sides, the atmosphere and the service at Perry’s never disappoints. The fillet was melt in your mouth tender and seasoned to perfection.

Just don't miss this grand pork chop 4 to 5 inches high or about three chops cooked together in one serving with mashed potatoes and applesauce. The lunch price is under $15. It is melt in your mouth good roast pork chop. The atmosphere is upscale, but casual dress. Waiters were friendly and attentive.

I have been to the Perry's in the Woodlands and also the one at Memorial City...both times I had the pork chop...it is excellent and definitely big enough for 2 to share. They have a great deal on it for Friday lunch...$18 I also had their French Onion Soup which was outstanding as well. They do it right...with the look of the restaurant, excellent service, and outstanding food!

My wife and I went there last night. I had a dozen oysters a wedge salad, ribeye, and three drinks. My wife had a wedge salad, lamb l, and three drinks. It was the most expensive meal we have ever had in our lives. All was great except the oysters. They were really small and $35 for a dozen!!!!! We absolutely loved the food but we won’t be back. It’s just too expensive being we could go out to eat twice at just about any other place for what we payed here.

We wanted our guests, from the Czech Republic, to enjoy a prime Texas stake dinner while they were here. We chose Perry's based on past experiences. We were not disappointed. Our guest thought it was the best steak they ever had, or ever would have. Indeed the The steaks, sides, and. wine were exceptional. Our waitress, Jamie, was very helpful, efficient, and nice. My only complaint applies to all fine dinning in Houston. A bit too pricey.

We ate at Perry's on Veteran's Day because they offer Vets and active duty soldiers a free pork chop dinner. Other dinner purchased was their Autumn 3 Course Special, an 8 oz filet mignon. Both dinners were absolutely delicious! The Autumn Special came with a choice of side dish or dessert, and we chose mashed potatoes. It was a HUGE serving! We brought home mashed potatoes, filet and pork chop because we could not finish the food. Husband ordered a malbec which did not taste good; it had a burnt flavor, so he sent it back & got a Perrin Rhone instead. Later the manager came by and apologized for the poor tasting malbec and said they threw the bottle away. The waitress was friendly and attentive too. All together, we had a delightful time.

Emily and Daniel made me feel very special on my special day. The service was fantastic and so was the food. Kind and courteous with attention to detail. Who could ask for more on their birthday? Highly recommend.

Skip all appetizers. Get nothing but the pork chop. It's expensive enough (almost $40). It is also delicious and way way too big. I eat a lot. I couldn't come close. I wish they'd cut 1 rib off the thing, then it would be manageable. They carve it at your table before you dig into it. It's an experience for sure. Try it out. Also, I heard the worst professional piano player of my life here one night. He was not there when I went back the next time. I can hardly describe how aweful it was.... Hopefully they've found someone else.

Perry’s Steakhouse at Baybrook Mall is very elegant. It’s refreshing to actually dress up & go out to have a very good sit-down dinner. My husband & I went there to celebrate our 41st wedding anniversary last year & will probably go again for our 42nd anniversary this year. Food was excellent but a little pricey.

On my first night in Houston, I was brought here by friends to celebrate. There is a refrigerated case that displays the various cuts of beef; my mouth salivated (and I admit that I am not the greatest fan of beef.) However, this truly was something special, from the service to the wine list. And the filet mignon...The desserts were spectacular as well. A must if you are in the area and worth the trip if you are not.

We joined some good friends here for their anniversary dinner. It was our first time and they'd been dozens of times. They too were disappointed this time. Our reservation was for 8PM. We ordered drinks and dinner- did not order an appetizer. I ordered a kale & salmon salad off the GF menu but chose to get it with their meals rather than when they got salads. The salads and drinks came in a timely manner, but we then waited over 45 minutes for the main food to arrive. During this time, we saw food delivered all around us and people even come and go. When our food was finally delivered, there was no explanation as to why it took so long and my GF salad was full of croutons. Not the normal sized croutons I could easily pick out, but tiny crushed croutons throughout the entire salad making it hard to find enough to eat. At that point I didn't feel there was time to wait for another so I essentially left hungry and over payed for a meal I could not enjoy.

Had a reservation for 8 on Saturday for sister in laws birthday. Staff was very attentive. Food was ordered and came out quick. Had fried shrimp and baked potato. Others had steaks with no complaints. My favorite part of the meal was the bananas foster dessert prepared fresh at the table in front of you. No complaints.

Came for a mother's day celebration. There were 8 of us. Food and service were above average as expected. However, the noise level in the restaurant made conversation near impossible. Pipped in music was loud and when the small jazz combo in the other section of the building began to play they dropped the piped in music and BLASTED the jazz through the speakers. When you combine this with the way they pack people in this new location and the drone of the increasing volume of other people trying to talk, it became to much. The moms with us love the Mont Blanc and the Nutty deAngello but we opted not to stay for dessert simply because no one could relax and enjoy some conversation. We loved the old Perry's. Food is close to the same but the atmosphere no longer lends itself to an intimate dining experience. We dropped $700 on dinner and gratuity (no drinks ordered). Did not really enjoy ourselves. Just to much noise

Great ambience and customer service, but the food was just meh. Went here for a college reunion and our server was great, but everyone felt like their food was just OK, but nothing to write home about. Between our group we ordered the surf & turf, spaghetti squash, salmon, risotto, and mac & cheese and the only person who really liked what they got was the person who got the pork chops. The Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Candy Bar for dessert hit the spot, though!

We dropped by the restaurant and were seated immediately around 1:30 PM. The restaurant was busy so we were surprised we were seated so quickly so the quick seating was a surprise. The service was good with the busy time. We ordered shortly after seating and the food came in a reasonable time. We had the Chef's special Filet which was bacon wrapped and had crab meat on top. The filet was good but not outstanding and therefore not necessarily a good value for the price. Not sure we would dine there often.

As steak houses go, I like Perry's because they all (at least the ones I have visited over the years) seem to get a "+" in every critical box to merit a 5 rating. These include: 1. Great curb appeal that "draws" you in...never a question of "do I rally want to eat here!" 2. A warm welcome from a host/hostess standing at the welcome station who makes you feel wanted as opposed to being an inconvenience to him/her 3. Attractive and well maintained décor/ambiance/appropriate lighting that creates an environment that simply "feels warm, inviting and special" A real plus is to have an eye catching focal point in the room--here it is an attractive bar or a great wine cabinet.... along with decent art fitting to the style of the room 4. Decently spaced tables that are set up for guests with silver, china and glassware 5. Attentive waiters that are at the table within an "instant" as opposed to 5 minutes! They appear happy to see you and are friendly. helpful, knowledgeable and attentive 6. A good menu that appeals to a range of customers tastes--something for everyone. The food lives up to what the menu says it is. The presentation is attractive. The taste is wonderful. The product is prepared to the specific expectations of each individual--especially for the way the meat is to be prepared. 7. The appropriate price reflects the quality of the ambiance, food and service. Or, as I have said many times, "I never mind paying a lot for a great meal, but I have been in many situations where I a whole lot for a whole lot less!" 8. There is never a hassle with the bill, a mistake on the bill, or how the table want to split the bill 9. Finally, the staff (everyone) makes you feel good when you leave--they thank you! The exit shows a real "attention to detail" culture that few restaurants exhibit! 10. A real double plus is that there is ample parking available--including valet options They got a check in every box! Our group loved the meal and we found the portions to be huge. The pork chop could serve 3 people. The filet is excellent. The lobster bisque is great. The house reserve wine is very nice. The "senior meal" with many "extras" (appetizers, special drinks, and extra desert) is almost under $75 a person with the 20% tip--a genuine bargain! We ABSOLUTELY will return. We had only one VERY small & easy to fix issue that I will mention in the private section because I do not want to detract from such a positive review. If it is not fixed by the time we are here again, I will be more vocal.

The place is beautiful and we had real good service, but the food had a bit to be desired. It was plated pretty but my steak was tough & my wife's shrimp was bland. I doubt we will return.

This location spotlights the fall from grace for this once quality steakhouse. I've been eating at Perrys for over 20 years, mostly at the location where they had been on Bay Area before they moved to the other side of the highway. It was the experience I judged all others against. Our last visit was in April for our anniversary, which we've done at Perrys 5 times prior. My wife lucked out, as she likes her steak bloody and really enjoyed their loaded potatoes. I ordered their signature Filet Perry and a wedge salad. The slice of lettuce was swimming in about 8 oz of ranch dressing, simply disgusting. They bring the steaks to the table and ask you to cut it open while they stand there. Lo and behold, they are both raw/purple in the middle (we ordered med-rare), my wife was OK with hers and I was hesitant to send it back, as I could eat around the raw portion, but they insisted it would only take 2 minutes 15 minutes later, while my wife is finishing her meal, they bring me a steak that's falling apart into pieces. Some peices are well done, others medium, and my crab/butter topping was completely dried out. It was almost as if they forgot it beneath a salamander. I ate 2 bites of that $60 steak and in retrospect, should have taken it home for my dog when asked. While the waiter was courteous, this meal didn't even compare to Texas Roadhouse or Outback. Last visit for us. I was sort of in shock for a couple hours afterward as to how disappointing the experience was. We'll go elsewhere from now on. What a shame.

Family took me out to try this steak house but recommended a pork chop. The chop was the bomb. service was excellent as well. I can't wait to try a steak on the next visit Highly recommend

Exceptional food and service! From the pear and Caesar salad to perfectly cooked salmon and Perry’s special seasoned steak- all delicious to say the least. Our waitress, Emily, was exceptional with her service and detail always being one step ahead of our needs. Although we did not order dessert, she would not let us leave until we sampled three of the restaurant’s specialty desserts: creamy cheesecake, creme brûlée, and a hazelnut chocolate crunch. All I can say is “oh wow!”

We had the opportunity to eat at Perry's last Friday and I would not recommend this restaurant based on the cost. I ordered the Rib Eye and my wife ordered the 6 oz. tenderloin. You should know that nothing else is included with the meal, you have to order the sides and dinner salad. My steak was OK, but not prime and my wife's tenderloin was tough. I will say the food was OK but not worth the $150 bill. I know I could have got a better meal at longhorn steak house.

I have to say I grew up on Clear Lake went to the original meat market and Sons and knew the Italian Perry's like most ppl in Clear Lake know. I was apprehensive a few years or war ago when the Baybrook location opened up. THAT being said, I love love the new location. The service is always on point and the drinks (I like bourbon and martinis as well as wine) are great. My wife and I go at least once every two weeks. Totally worth it and the new restaurant is outstanding.

I love Perry's in Friendswood, it's my all-time favorite restaurant. My family and I have lived in Friendswood for 18 years and Perry's is the number one choice of my mother and myself! The steaks are excellent as are the salads and dressings and everything else including the service! Perry's is a casual hometown hotspot with gourmet food!

Great steaks, Love their bacon wrapped filet and their pork chop. I have been going to the original Friendswood location since childhood. This is a must place every time I come to visit family from Florida. Great food

I really wanted to love this place. I really did. It was one bad thing after another. Had reservations for a date night, we were escorted to the table and there's the biggest water spots on my husbands wine glass. He asks them for a clean glass, they grab his and the other spotted glasses. I drink some of my water and cut my lip and then my finger on my water glass when I try to figure out how I cut my lip. It was chipped on the rim. Then hubs ordered calamari and I ordered asparagus. Both are fried and the batter is TERRIBLE, it's so sad... it just held onto every bit of grease and sadly it just runs all over the plate (suggestion use panko). Anyway, we then ordered 3 sides, mushroom risotto that looked like a black bean and rice stack with pico on top... didn't taste like a risotto either, but it had good flavor like a mushroom gravy without sauce (O_o), so we ate it with the mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese, all three together made a tasty bite! We opted out of having a main course and ordered bananas foster flambé, now this deserves a 5 star rating Adrian was a pleasure and the desert was awesome! Yo Adrian you're the Flambé Master, keep up the good work. He bumped it up a star.

My husband and I have reservations here for 2:00 pm. The service, food and ambience was perfect. When we entered the restaurant we were greeted immediately and asked if we had reservations. We were escorted to our table and our waiter came right over to the table. Samuel was nice and friendly but he was not real knowledgeable about the cocktail menu. But the gentleman who bought out our signature pork chop was very knowledgeable about the preparation of the pork chop. He carved our pork chop perfectly, giving us the right size portion. I will definitely be returning to this location in the near future.

The food is excellent as is the service. The only negative i can think of is the parking problem to get into the restaurant is terrible. Better use the valet and hope they are not backed up. Still a great place to go...

Wonderful food, service is a bit slow but ok. Nice atmosphere. Recommend the asparagus with lump crab meat! The steaks are perfect every time and very flavorful food.

Went in for lunch. Service was fast to get seated. Had the carb cakes its good but needs more sauce. Also had the Palomino drink with the blood orange crazy good drink. Had the famous pork chop, super soft and tender . Served with mashed potatoes and apple sauce. Order the fried asparagus best thing to get! Also ordered the mac and cheese also great! Overall my 1st visit was good will be back again!!!

Went to Perry's on a recommendation from a friend. He said they were known for their chops. When we arrived, we were promptly seated and our waiter introduced himself, gave us a menu and took our drink order. I ordered lamb chops with a side of sweet potato fries. Everyone else ordered strip steaks and ribeye's and all were cooked to perfection We ordered a couple of appetizers and they were very good too. Our drink glasses never got below half a glass before our waiter was filling them back up. I highly recommend Perry's if you want a quality meal.

Perry’s is consistently a great choice for a great dinner in the Houston Area, The aged steaks are grilled to perfection and the pork chop is unparalleled! We also enjoyed their jumbo lump crab topped fried asparagus, spinach salad and for dessert the Mont Blanc was both a delightful tableside presentation but also an absolutely delicious finish to our meal. The service is consistently great. I highly recommend Perry’s for a special night out or a visit during their Happy Hour.

My company hosted our Christmas (holiday) party here early in the month. There was a set menu (pre-ordered). The staff did a great job serving cocktails during the pre-dinner time and kept the wine glasses full during our meal. The meal options covered the spectrum from beef, fish, chicken and vegetarian, so I assume someone walking in can find something they like on the standard menu. My wife and I were happy with our meals, although looking back, I can’t remember what we had. If it was especially bad or amazingly spectacular I would remember. So I guess the food was “as expected” for an upscale restaurant.

During my last visit to Houston I visited Perry's Steakhouse on my last night in town. Although I arrived rather late the they still gave me a warm welcome and great service. I had a filet mignot and it ranks very high in my personal top 10. ( and I'm a steak lover) Michelle my server from Paranaque, was very hospitable and communicative. She made me feel at home! I'll definitely be back on my next trip.

We love to eat at Perry’s when we are traveling. We always have such great service. The one in Houston- Baybrooke didn’t disappoint. You must have the pork chop!! Skip the steak! They are known for their pork chop! It’s omg delicious. It is also big enough to split... Can’t wait to come back!

If your expecting the atmosphere of the old Perry's on Bay Area, you will be disappointed. Perry's took a good thing, coated it with commercialism and glitter and made the new place just like every other steak house in America. The last two visits have been disappointing. Don't get me wrong. Food is good but disappointingly missing the wow factor! Drinks are the same as everywhere else (bar and lounge are very, very crowded and loud). The steaks were a disappointment. Again, not that the meal wasn't good, just not great. You would expect, for the price, the steaks and all the sides to be something to write home to Mom about. Not the case. Service was very attentive and boarded on pushy. We felt as if the staff couldn't see us eat and leave fast enough. Anyway. If you are looking for a nice atmosphere (in the dining area), Good but not great food, higher that deserving prices and over the top service, go to Perry's.

The food was delicious! The service was wonderful. Our waiter was attentive without being intrusive. We ordered the cherry pepper calamari. The calamari was very good and it had a nice kick to it!! We all ordered the filet mignon which was cooked to perfection. We enjoyed our food!! Can't wait to go back!

We trust their two go-to meats: Pork Chops and Steaks. Never had anything else but these. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. Tender Filet and chops. We buy steaks from Perry's butcher shop when cooking at home: whole filet mignon, standing rib roasts, chops, and T-bones. The restaurant showcases variation of cuts behind a glass case at reception area but I'm not sure if it can be purchased here. We were there for early dinner and the managers were around so it seems all staff worked hard with good service.

I truly am disappointed, as this is a local Steakhouse to my residence. I wanted it so bad to be a 5 Star experience. It has all my favorites on the menu! However a very mIxed experience. French Onion Soup, average and bland, bread was excellent, served hot and fresh! Cowboy Cut Bone In Ribeye was magnificent, a little too much unnecessary butter on it, cooked to perfection! Potatoes au gratin, my absolute favorite side dish was uneatable. I can't pin point what didn't like, seasoning or the cheese, I had to return it. Service, just OK, everyone was friendly but not attentive. I will likely give them another chance but at easily $100 per guest, I expect so much better. No one is more disappointed than I to give this 3 star rating. 🙁

13 of us had to put down a deposit and it Took over 3 hours for us to get through an advertised 4 course meal.. the appetizer was a joke and it took forever, they did not serve all the entrees at the same time, one of the appetizers fell on the floor, we had spilt tea. They ran out of some of the desert offerings, keep In mind this was a 4 course meal for 44$ that they were advertising that took over 3 hours and they ran out out of some of the food… Anf it was so very slowed I was embarrassed for them.. you would thank for a 1500.00$ tan and a complaint to the lady who booked our table that a manager would call to follow up never happened.. The manager who had to be the one to ring us up new they dropped the ball big time but did nothing.. they also have one check for us to figure out and their was 6 couples, it’s was is easiest for them.. as for Togo boxes the the left over were not put in the boxes table side by the waiter… oh no they were just passed out to use like we were passing a bread basket… this place is across the street from us.. we drive the 15 plus miles this past weekend to go to Taste of Texas…

Great Thanksgiving dinner. It was our first time having Thanksgiving out and we were a bit apprehensive. Perry’s did a terrific job. They had a great full Thanksgiving meal menu plus their normal terrific steak and other great items. What made it so special was their staff the friendliness their attitude everyone was happy and it made it really great.

Recently went to Perry's for a family holiday feast. We were a large party so we were placed in a private room. The ambiance was wonderful. The room was quiet. The service was fantastic. The food was the best. From the escargot and crab cakes to the wedge salad and lobster bisque; everything was amazing. Steaks and chops were prime cuts of meat grilled to perfection. Fish was moist and fresh. Best part of the meal was the bananas foster made tableside. It was a treat for the kids and amazing to eat. I highly recommend Perry's for any dinner.

Perry's is generally wonderful but last week wasn't so good Ordered the Crab Cakes - they looked all uniform in shape - like the came out of a frozen box … too much oil and grease … My wife ordered a side dish - read wonderful … and I am sure that dish was, but she was brought a more expensive meal that was some spaghetti squash … not at all what she ordered. as a couple, we went to the bar ... drinks and dinner. then a family with 2 children came and sat at the bar ... not the evening we had hoped for ... the staff seemed okay with this ... but we won't waste an evening there again ...

My husband and I took the Vice President of our company and his wife to dinner for their wedding anniversary. It was so very good, the waiter's were very nice, the food was excellent and the dessert I requested was perfect.

We had our final dinner at Perry’s before I headed back to the UK, and the food and service were divine. It’s an upscale establishment with very polished, friendly staff. We started with salads and the French onion soup - all were tasty, and I highly recommend the spinach salad. For mains, we ordered filets and shrimp. The bacon marmalade and blue cheese topping was oh so good. We also enjoyed the truffle fries and lobster Mac and cheese. The portions were massive, but I expect that in Texas. :) I would happily return.

Great place for just about anything! Had the Redfish and my friend had the Salmon. We chose corn relish and scalloped potatoes for our sides and all of it was delicious! Warm bread and a glass of wine made it an ideal dinner!

We went for our anniversary this past weekend and reserved through Open Table. We were seated right away and the service was prompt. We ordered the crab cake and escargot for appetizers. Crab cake was fantastic, we sent back the escargot as it was the worst I have ever had. Our steaks came out and they were all fantastic, however, we order 3 sides of which 2 were great. What I thought was creamed corn ended up being canned corned with some peppers included, so we sent that back. So during this time there begins water to drip on my head from the ceiling, so I change chairs. They did offer to move us to another table but we were close to finishing at that point we stayed. They did removed the items that we sent back from our bill and also comped our 2 desserts so all said we had a $210.00 bill including the tip. As the title of this review states it was a mixed experience.

And they took us right in. We opted to sit at the bar, highly recommended! It is lively, service was on par with a sit down, and food was great! My husband had the rare bone in ribeye and it was so tender he cut it with the fork! Flavor was lacking but he didn't add any toppings, next time he will. I had lamb chops, medium rare and the were cooked to perfection!!! We indulged in the bananas foster which did not disappoint. Service was right in! We will be back.

Last night we visited the location on Cypress Wood in the Houston area. They have done a wonderful job remodeling the bar area. We ordered the filet, pork chop and Potatoes Au gratin and they we’re all warm to cold. No question in my mind that they let these meals sit before serving them. I am a stickler for serving and timing the food when it is hot. As my wife said, the potatoes were Gelatinous! At these prices we expect better

I am not a avid perrys steak house goer, mainly because of the prices and inability to get my hands on coupons or specials to thier restaraunt, but the few times that I have been has been very impressive nice setting as well as the professionalism of the workers. The food especially the pork chops is awsome, yes pricey but worth your money

My favorite day to go is Friday for lunch What a deal They have their famous huge pork-chop For $ 15.95. Make sure you ask for bread if you want it they are stingy. Great food high prices for dinner great service and amazing cocktails. I recommend

Houston doesn't really do traditional English Sunday Roast, but Perry's comes pretty close with their Sunday Dinner Pork Chop special. Not only is it a good price, but I can almost guarantee that you will have enough left over for Monday lunch or supper.

The best thing since sliced bread is their Pork Chop Special Dinner. They make this "common" food into a gourmet, mouth-watering experience! Service is superb and their Butcher shop area is a big plus.

This is a really nice restaurant. The ambiance is beautiful, the staff attentive and the food superior. We had filet migeons and salmon which were great. Loved the hot bread prior to dinner.

A delicious birthday dinner for 5 booked on OpenTable. We arrived and were seated immediately for our reservation, however not in a quiet area as asked. This Perry's is noisy and crowded, much more than the Katy location which is quiet and serene. Patrons were far removed from the "business casual" dress code set out on Perry's web site. Aside from that, our waiter Dillon showed up immediately and was attentive and very professional all evening, and an excellent waiter. We ordered mostly steaks, lobster, shrimp, and side dishes. The food arrived cooked correctly, hot and delicious. Side dishes of mushrooms, butter squash, and Brussels sprouts were also excellent. A complimentary birthday Bananas Foster dessert and a cheesecake completed the wonderful meal. We spend 3 hours at the table and really enjoyed the evening.

What a cluster. In the time that I’ve been here not one car has left with any food. I’m bout ready find a Chinese buffet. How do screw up something as simple as curbside and don’t give me some COVID excuse for piss poor execution. Who ever is in charge needs to shown the door.

Ate here for our anniversary:( Have eaten at previous location ( Clear Lake) many, many, many times and other Perry's too. Mistake for anniversary to ear here. We had reservations, but had a loud central room table which was assigned. Hurried waiter and well we felt like a number. Disappointed!!!!!!!!! It was too busy, too loud and well, not that type of place to celebrate a sustainable marriage celebration. The food was great, service great al biet the rush and noise. Not great for intimate dinners, but good for family, party, friends, a party or business. Location is modern beautiful, open and loud. It is LOUD. They have valet parking, private rooms for business meetings and a bar. Lovebirds go elsewhere: I love you may come out as I live you or I hate you ????? I wish they could figure out what to do with love birds:) We do miss the Perry's Italian Restaurant and the old Perry's on Bay Area:((((((Please bring the ambiance back somehow. Consult someone please.

Great food. Snack on bread, have a Cesar salad and dig into the Pork Chop. Stick with the Sunday Dinner Special for a reasonably priced treat.

I am sad to say that this visit was very disappointing! Almost absent waiter and food below average, we have gotten so much better food and service at the friendswood location! You need to up your game! And if you want to have béarnaise sauce on your menu please be critical before sending it to the table, when butter and eggs are separating you just need to start over because what I got was just a sad effort. Our truffle fries came to our table 20 minutes after we had finished our main course, considering that we rang up a +$200 bill (we did have wine) the plates just weren't that great!

We made anniversary reservations a couple days ahead. When we arrived the hostess had everything ready. She congratulated us on our 19 year anniversary, as did everyone who came to our table. Everyone was kind and attentive to our night out. We felt very special. Sergio, our waiter was exemplary and took great care of us. We ordered the ribeye, filet mignon, and shared a baked potato. All came out perfect. The moscoto that Segio got for my wife was perfect. After the meal, Sergio brought us a player with three small deserts, and a candle that he lit. It is probably the best place that we could have went for a wonderful evening together.

Waitstaff very courteous. Steak was out of this world I had the 14oz prime rib eye my wife had the 10oz filet. Both were cooked to perfection. All appetizers were excellent. I will definitely be back again.

Always enjoyed Perry's at Bay Area Boulevard and now moved to the "Green" ; new part of Baybrook Mall. Eaten there 3 times so far. Steaks are not quite as good : seems the seasoning and searing of the steaks are not quite as good. Lyonnaise potatoes and asparagus are great. Surroundings are very pleasant. Service is adequate but not overly personal. Wine choice is fine but overall quite expensive.

We are no strangers to Perry's and have never been disappointed. Tonight was a unique but still very good experience. We were promptly seated and attended to by our server, Christopher. We ordered cocktails and later our entrees. I ordered chicken Oscar but called it by the wrong name but Christopher knew what I referred to and took the order without correction (my husband noted my error and asked about it!). Our meals arrived in due time and everything I ordered was perfect. However, my husband' s steak seemed a bit "salty" and eventually he mentioned it to Christopher. Within minutes a manager appeared and offered to bring another steak, but my husband explained it was a mere comment; FYI. We are seniors with dietary restrictions and so might be sensitive to sodium. I felt the Lobster Bisque also seemed high in sodium. My entree, our side and desert were all perfect, however. In all of our visits we have never had a more appropriately friendly and completely competent server as Christopher. He seemed genuinely concerned that our every need was addressed without hovering. In short, Perry's is an extremely successful restaurant--don't even think of trying for a table without a reservation--and part of that success is the establishment's genuine efforts to assure the complete satisfaction of its diners. It is high end, so expect to acknowledge one gets what one pays for.

Exceptional service in a private room that created both the opportunity for small group conversations and when needed a few moments where each could introduce themselves and be heard from end to end. Of course the food was exceptional, sides to share, with healthy options for those wishing. When we arrived, we forgot to bring our place cards, but the staff quickly cut up a menu and we were able to write individual place cards and setup the room for success. Can do attitude stands out at Perry's.

We are new in Clear Lake area and trying different nice restaurants. This is by far the best we ever had. Our new favorite restaurant!!!

I have eaten at Perry's several times when I have been in the area for business. It is an upper class steakhouse on the level of Fleming's, Ruth's Chris, and Capitol Grill. This location has a really nice ambience. It has both inside and outside seating, a nice large bar area, a couple private dining rooms and a fairly large main dining area. The steaks are good. On my most recent visit I had a surf and turf special they were offering where you pick your steak and they top it with lump crab meat and add a couple shrimp and a small lobster tail. It was a very nice combination. The pork chop is supposed to be awesome, but I have never tried it. Perry's is very nice and is a great place for a business dinner or a special occasion. It isn't cheap, so don't plan on dining on a budget....

My husband and I recently moved back to Texas and decided to have a nice "welcome back" dinner. There are many steakhouses to chose from in Houston and decided to keep it local and dine at Perry's in Baybrook. We made a reservation earlier in the week. The bar area had availability; standard seating was full. It's still a nice spot close to the bar; a bit loud perhaps, but still enjoyable. Our server was very pleasant and did a good job answering our questions about the menu. We shared a tuna tartare as appetizer. My husband ordered their famous pork chop and I went with the NY strip. Our sides (corn brulee and whipped mashed potatoes) were delicious! Not sure how we managed to order dessert because we were already so full. I'd recommend the chocolate cake over the chocolate crunch. Overall, we had a lovely meal.

Best pork ever ! Definetly is a must. Steak are great as well . One of our favorite Steak houses in the area and reasonably priced. Service is alway top notch no matter what location we go to. This is closest to the house and they do a great job!

We visit Perry’s steakhouse very often on occasion and holidays such Easter, mother day, Palm Sunday ..etc... as a family, and it is our cozy place for a special date as well. We are always satisfied with the service, the quality of the food, and the waiters attitudes. Highly recommended.

Went there for a business dinner. The hostess was very friendly and I would say charming in welcoming us and guiding us to the table. The waiter was formal and detached, I guess trying to keep a professional posture and detached from the client, even if a bit of empathy is always good. The food was great also the wine, the prices were for sure not the cheapest in the area but very nice indeed! Hard to find a better meat restaurant around. To make things better, I would suggest to use less butter and let the great pieces of meat release all their flavour.

Always great steaks and fine foods. Service is superb. Noise level slightly higher but private room to have a quite conversation is available. Dinner ambience is fantastic at the new place.

Accidentally wrote a great review on the old location. It basically it says this. GOVE THE NEW ONE A TRY. We absolutely love going there and sitting in the bar my wife and I and having some appetizers and a few drinks. They play piano and jazz and it's always a great atmosphere.

We have always loved Perry's but they have gone up on the bar drinks and are just too pricey now. My drink was $17 and it was in a martini glass. The most expensive restaurants in Houston do not charge this much for drinks! Not sure we will return now.

Went there for our anniversary at the new location - tables were very close together and hard to get around for patrons and wait staff. Food was excellent but service was slow and it was very loud. Prefer the ambience of the Bay Area Blvd. location that we went to for many years. Bigger is not always better.

Beautiful new location, food is fabulous. I always get the filet, yumm. They have a great dessert- nutty di'angelo

We enjoy Perry’s. The food is always good. and the prices are reasonable. The pork chops are their specialty.

Overpriced mall restaurant, octopus was rubber texture and no flavor , snapper was overcooked and overpriced, drinks had the minimum alcohol they can get away with overall an overpriced terrible restaurant I would never go back

amazing food and great service it is a little pricey but well worth it great for special events and parties

Fine dining and attentive service in an elegant and beautiful new location. We had crab cakes, double-cut lamb chops and pecan-crusted red snapper with a side of potatoes au gratin. Everything was very good or excellent. A bit on the noisy side with tables pretty close together. Portions were sizable, presentation and preparation on point.

Filet was really good but the pork chop is amazing. Great atmosphere. Large bar to sit if you don't want a table.

I am very sad to say that what used to be one of our favorite restaurants in the Clear Lake Area will now be on the “avoid” list. We have dined here many times in the past, but on this visit (which happened to be an Anniversary dinner) we were very disappointed. The food was “ok” but for the high price we expected better than half full and incorrect drinks, lukewarm food, and horrible service. To be fair, much of the problem seemed to be that the restaurant was understaffed. Our server had so many tables that he couldn’t do justice to any of them. However, this also means that things are not likely to get better. We will not return.

My husband and I went for our anniversary on a recommendation and we were pleasantly surprised at how great the service was and the food was delicious! We will definitely return!

Went for out for final lunch of our Houston holiday, for the famous pork chop. Really good value and very tasty. The place was packed and we had to wait even though we had a reservation. Parking was very tricky too, but there’s a big multi storey car park just across luckily. The service was great and the chop delicious but far too big to eat so doggy bag provided. The Brussels sprouts side was good too, no room for dessert. Recommend for lunch but make sure you’re very hungry. Still it provided a second meal later that day.

We had a reservation and arrived a bit early. We were told we would be seated shortly. We waited...and waited...and waited...and we were finally seated after our reservation time. We watched couple after couple get seated in front of us. I had to go to the host stand to remind them to seat us, which eventually they did. I noticed their hosts were young and not particularly attentive. It was a busy night, so I partially understand, but I expect an establishment like Perry's to honor the time we booked. The food was good. I ordered one of the most expensive shots on the menu and the liquor was partially turned. I let the staff know and they communicated it to management and offered a replacement. I will say, their ribeye was good, but fell far short of great. It had way, way too much pepper. The side of potatoes was quite bland. The soup was good but again, not great. They served very hot bread, which is something many restaurants seem to fail miserably at these days. The desserts were not bad at all. A dinner for two with one drink came out to over $300 with gratuity. While it was good, I expect much better service when arriving and a higher level of food quality for this price. I will probably not be back.

We had our anniversary dinner and chose the Filet Mignon. The steaks were cooked to perfection and our side dishes were delicious as well. Our waiter Joseph took excellent care of us and when he found out we were celebrating our anniversary he provided us with a dessert sampler that we delicious as well. It is a little spendy but for special occasions not bad at all.

the evening was nice, we arrived at 5:30 with a reservation on Monday night August 8, 2016 for our anniversary. And were only the second table to be seated. The table offered us was the back table along the walkway from the kitchen. I asked to be seated more inside and the waiter hesitated and my husband was not happy with me adking. We were reseated at the next table in and as we began to notice the waiters stood along that back hallway right by where they had wanted us to sit. We presented a letter for a free $50.00 gift certificate from a fund raiser for local Karate school but it was not accepted. We didnot have a plastic card wih it just the letter. The management was very nice and did try to verify it but was not able to. That was disappointing but understood. But did not like the seating arrangement when we arrived on time and were the second couple to be seated. We have not been back.

Fantastic dinner high end but very affordable and elegant, will impress any traveler or family member

Been there a number of times. I had ordered steaks, pork chops I believe. Fine service as well. Notice the number of customers as well.

This was my first time eating at a Perry's Location. I have been to the Houston area many times over the years and I've eaten at some great Steakhouses. On this night I was out for a business dinner. My clients chose this Perry's location. Little did I know that we had a vegetarian at the table. No problem for the folks at this stylish trendy meat lovers paradise. We sat at our table and our server walked us through the menu and recommended a few items including that night's feature. I was in the mood for meat so I got a classic, the filet mignon. This was an excellent cut, it was juicy, tender and cooked to a perfect medium-rare. We had a couple of starters as well which unfortunately we didn't get any pictures of since we were all deeply engaged in conversation. But for the record, we had the delightful Beef n Blue, The Crabcakes and the Bacon-wrapped scallops. Our vegetarian had the Field Green, Pear & Candied Pecan Salad which looked fantastic. The vegetarian main course was this absolutely divine Spaghetti Squash Primavera, which I myself may try the next time I'm at a Perry's. I tasted a little since it was a massive portion and it was very good. Everything at Perry's was as advertised, the server was impeccable, the food was first class, the ambiance set a great mood for the evening. Perry's is a great place to eat.

Wow! What a dinner! This is a classy joint. A wonderful atmosphere for celebrating. Wait staff was very professional and courteous and full of good suggestions. We went all out enjoying delicious crab cakes topped with fine threaded fried onions and a lime butter sauce first. We both savored every bite of the filet mignon topped with King crab meat and served over asparagus. A bottle of wine later and I wasn't about to miss the creme brûlée, which was heaven! The berrys and powdered sugar made the dessert top notch! I'm looking forward to celebrating there again.

Perry's was a treat in it's old location but I decided to try it for lunch in the Baybrook Mall. It was a very nice experience. The décor was modern and very comfortable. Environment allowed easily following a conversation and made a great place for a business lunch. The service was tops. I had the lunch cut pork chop. It was very large, juicy, and so.... flavorful. It was a great match to the Caesar salad and fried asparagus with lump crabmeat. The bread was just as great as I had remembered. warm and flavorful on the inside with a delicious crunchy textured brown crust. What a joy. Self-parking was a bit difficult even at lunch but there is valet service at the front door. Think I will consider this place for dinner next chance I get. The desserts looked great.

Hubby took me here for dinner for my birthday. It was fabulous! Our waiter greeted us and made recommendations for a good wine for my husband to pair with his dinner. I had a cucumber blueberry martini. It was yummy!! Next we had salads instead of an appetizer. Would recommend the spinach salad with warm bacon vinaigrette. I ordered the Filet Perry. It was cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth. The lump crap meat on top was buttery and was a perfect pairing with the steak. My husband ordered the ribeye with blue cheese on top it was great also. We ordered the roasted creamed corn and whipped potatoes as sides. Both paired well and were delicious also. Finally dessert ! We ordered the Monte Blanc a la Frisc. This is one of their signature flaming desserts. It was a sublime finish to an immaculate dinner. Would highly recommend going to this restaurant for a special occasion. Staff is very friendly, attentive and professional. It is $$$$ but it is worthy of every $.

The menu calls the dish "Crispy Skin Wild Red Snapper". What I got was a snapper encased in fry batter, to which someone had added garlic. In place of the truffle vinaigrette were finely chopped mushrooms that had also been brushed with garlic (there was no vinaigrette flavor). And the whipped potatoes were red. I should have sent it back but we were out with friends and I didn't want to make a scene. We also had the calamari, which before moving to the mall, Perry's had done really well. But that too was encased in fry batter, with more cherry peppers than calamari. The heavy fry batter is also used on the asparagus. They need to rethink that.

We love Perry's! You can always count on the food to be consistently perfect. The service is, as well.

First time we went to fhis new restaurant on Tuesday April 25 Appetizers were good Desert was reasonable The maincourse was very disappointing We shared a chateau Briand Since we shared this pricey steak it was not easy to send it back as we would have to try both portions After the facts we should have send it back It was the worst steak we ever had at Perry Most probably the meat was not so fresh and the Tuesday chef did not know how to cook Chateau Briand Very sorry for this bad experience

Was looking forward to our “Date Night”, and it didn’t work out very well. Had nice pre-dinner martinis, ordered soups, and then waited 45 minutes till our steaks came out. Our waitress must have been new. She never checked on us. We could never find her. Asked one of the other waiters if he could send over the manager so we could ask why our food was not coming out of the kitchen. Miraculously, it appeared within a minute. My filet had so much gristle that I had to spit out 4 bites of my steak. Very disappointed with the experience.

Went here with a group of a 8 friends. First time here. Service was excellent, staff was attentive and made great recommendations. Escargot (no shells) in a garlic sauce was fabulous. I could not let the sauce go to waste so I soaked it up with some bread. My bone in Cowboy rib eye was cooked to perfection and simply delicious, just salt, pepper and butter. Au gratin potatoes and fried asparagus with crab meat was unbelievable. Rocky road bread pudding was sweet and rich (its enough for 3 or 4 people). It was like a chocolate chip cookie with candies nuts and marshmallow topping. The atmosphere in the restaurant was quaint and comfortable. The bar area was also really nice and with live music - the piano and singer were excellent. It was busy but did not feel crowded or too loud. The experience was well worth the money. I would definitely come back. I also tried the pork loin special which was cooked perfectly, moist and smoked. It’s a lot of food.

Down in Houston with my teammates and they took me out to dinner at Perrys. Great atmosphere when you walk in, staff were very friendly, our waitress was incredible. She talked me into ordering the 7 finger high, dinner sized pork shop with home made apple sauce. Well, when it came to the table I was floored. Its a very large piece of meat. It was amazing! Very tender and the apple sauce is amazing. Everyone at the table was thrilled with their order and it was an excellent meal.

Met several colleagues and all enjoyed an incredible meal. The service was very attentive but careful not to hover over guests. I highly recommend the Pork Chops - their specialty but all my guests enjoyed their steaks. It is a bit of a surprise given the Mall setting. Parking is the only drawback as there is a dining complex and all patrons compete for parking.

Had dinner at Perry's Baybrook with my girlfriend Saturday, February 11, 2023. Wedge salad, a steakhouse classic, right? Not at this lame place. It was NOT a wedge salad; they served a slice of iceberg instead (what, can't spare a quarter head of lettuce?). Served in a bowl rather than an a plate. Why did this matter? Because it was swimming in bad ranch dressing, just swimming. And on that dressing note: Ranch? Ugh. Who is running this kitchen? Retraining maybe? Very few blue cheese crumbles included, to the point that it was just a bad slice of iceberg that was nearly unrecognizable in a sea of crummy, sugar-laden ranch. Glad I didn't order a steak.

Top Notch experience. Made reservations on Open Table.. Seated promptly and on time. They did bot make us wait until all of the party arrived.. They just brought them back to the table which was nice.. Food was amazing and timed to our liking.. The waiter was very good.. He kept up with our table all night making sure we had everything we needed.. From the drinks, to appetizers, to main course, to desserts.. TOP NOTCH! Would def recommend.. Not cheap but worth every penny!

This is the best restaurant I have been too in a long time. The service is the greatest I have even seen. The food is outstanding, especially the huge pork chop. Enough to take home and a meal the next day. The desserts are wonderful and the decor is so beautiful.

Ate here Thursday for my son's birthday. All 8 of us had a grand time choosing different items off the menu. Of particular note are the Symphony Kabob for the 11 year old and the Iced Seafood tower. The steaks were prepared correctly and the sides were served family style. Service could be improved upon with a 5 to 10 minute waits to order drinks, main course and desserts. The bread pudding is the size of a brick, so expect to share. Cocktails contained a healthy amount of alcohol. For our group of 8, the price was $777.00 including the 20% tip for parties of 8 or more.

We have loved Perry’s for 20 years. Loved their old location and the new one however, had a very bad experience last night. Really hoping a fluke and not a turn in the wrong direction. - when we walked in there were 6 hostesses at the hostess station. None smiled or welcomed us in a professional way. Just “name, ok we will seat you shortly” - when seated our table was pushed up against another table so tight that even my 8 year old son could not fit in the chair. There was plenty of space on other side of the table My family picked up and moved the table while multiple waiters and hostesses just watched us none offering to help. - Took 50 min to get cocktails and we asked 2x and eventually talked to the manager. We were told the drinks and appetizers would be taken off the bill though at end of a long unpleasant dinner only the drinks were removed. If you can not accommodate large parties well you should not take the reservation. - we asked for bread 3 times. Eventually after our dinners were served I asked the bus boy to please bring some bread to the table. The quality of the food was still very good. Honestly this evening was a total waste of time and money. Really hoping something was very wrong that night. Hate to see a great restaurant going down.

We love this restaurant!! Living in the Clear Lake area we used to go to that one which now has been closed and the Baybrook Mall has the new one which we visited with along with very good friends of ours. The restaurant is fabulous with outdoor seating (fire pits) and of course, great food!

We were referred to this steakhouse that it has some of the best steak around. The restaurant is beautiful. We made a booking and upon arriving we had to wait for our table (luckily not very long). The bottles of water on the tables are beautiful. Makes drinking water just that little bit more classy. The steak was superb, perfectly done. My son also enjoyed his pasta. Was a bit disappointed that the steak didn't come with a proper side and that you had to pay extra for it. Some of the best steak I have had.

The Perry's at Baybrook has everything...atmosphere, food, drinks, service and anything left Out! Beats all another dining in the area!

Most beautiful Perrys I've been too. Valet parking impeccable service. Of course pricey but really romantic!!

Filet wasn't as tender as it should have been, but it still tasted good. Whipped potatoes were great. Bread was great. Waiter was great. Not full restaurant, but they sat a group next to me that was loud. Not sure why they couldn't be a little further away.

Went one Friday evening and was seated quickly as we did have reservations. Waiter was very attentive and knowledgable about the menu and did offer suggestions. My husband started with their lobster bisque and liked it, very much. The warm bread brought to table was soft and butter very good. I ordered the filet mignon that did come with asparagus. I ordered it medium and it came out cooked OK, but it was overly spiced making it difficult to really taste the steak itself. It also was not that tender. My husband got the 14 oz sirloin and he was not very impressed as it had to much grizzle for him. We know this is a lesser cut of meat, but if cooked properly and quality cut gotten, it can be a tasty choice. We had one at a steak place in Bastrop and it was excellent. We also ordered a side of Brussel sprouts and creamed spinach. The creamed spinach was good, but the Brussel sprouts were not good at all. To salty, over roasted to the point of being burnt and the wine vinegar or a similar type of liquid poured over the top did not make for a good taste. Being fair to them, the manger did come around and ask if everything was to our liking and we did not mention how we did not like the Brussel sprouts as I am sure they would have either offered us a replacement or removed the cost from our bill, They also gave us free dessert, as we were celebrating our anniversary which was very nice of them, plus you could order any dessert from their menu. some restaurants may give you a complementary desert, but it usually one they choose to give. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and service was supered. As far as the food goes, there are equally great steaks restaurants in town and some better, that even are less expensive than Perry's, but if you want a quality experience with good atmosphere, great service and good food, this restaurant will not disappointment.

Sat at the bar as we love to do on a late Saturday afternoon. 5:30, glad we got there early as it was packed by the time we left. The atmosphere is really lovely. We had the “Beef and Bleu” which was outstanding and siracha brussel sprouts which was delicious👏🏻 Service was efficient but not warm.

I really wanted my husband to enjoy a steak dinner while we were in Texas so I was really excited that I could eat here too. There was one vegan main, sadly no vegan appetiser but they worked something out for me which was nice. The main course was so flavourful! I think I enjoyed my meal more than my husband enjoyed his steak! The cocktails and wine were nice, the staff were so friendly, the atmosphere was really nice. Super high end, would definitely go back.

The service was excellent and the food was superb. We booked a meeting room and the server assigned was very accommodating, courteous and professional.

This was our first visit at this location. We had excellent service and the food was even better! Highly recommend.

My wife and I attended a business function at Perry's Steakhouse that included 35 people. We sat in the private area with 6 large tables and a bar that was set up in this area. Wait staff and service was excellent! Appetizers, entrees and sides were outstanding! On a set dinner menu, my wife ordered the filet mignon rare and I ordered the sea bass with an Asian flare. Both were delicious and cooked to perfection! Highly recommend the new Perry's location in the Baybrook Mall in Friendswood!

My wife and I celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary at Perry's last night. Even though I had high expectations coming in due to visit's to other Perry's locations in the past and the reviews here, my expectations were met and exceeded!! On making my reservation online, I had requested a chilled bottle of Banfi Rosa Regali (my wife's favorite wine) waiting for us at the table. We were greeted and told happy anniversary and the bottle was waiting!! The food was all cooked to perfection. My wife chose bacon wrapped scallops for an appetizer. I am not a scallops fan, but they are one of my wife's favorite dishes. She insisted I try them and I will say this, if I could get Perry's scallops all the time, I would be a scallops fan! Most scallops I have tasted are rubbery but these were just melt in your mouth good (and also wrapped in bacon). I chose the steak tartare and we both loved it too. For entrees, I chose the chateaubriand while my wife had the Perry's filet. Each came with asparagus and we also chose an order or lyonnaise potatoes as a side. The steaks were perfectly cooked. Mine came with three different sauces. They were all good. I don't remember their names, one was sort of like brown gravy, one I think was bernaise (my favorite) and the other was sweet and while I liked it, I think it would pair better with pork or chicken. For dessert I had chocolate crunch with a glass of Maderia while my wife chose the creme brulee with a glass of cream sherry. We even had enough food left for both of us to have lunch today. The waiter (and I don't remember his name) was great. I'm glad he talked me into the chateaubriand. I was very surprised that the dining room was packed (I didn't see an open table) on a week night. I noticed a couple of people wearing ball caps in the dining room. I've known people to complain on cruises about people wearing caps in the dining room and how it ruined my meal so I joked to my wife I was going to complain and ask for a free meal. While I wouldn't do it, it didn't affect my meal in the least. To sum up, excellent food and service. Perry's is definitely a splurge item and I wouldn't eat here regularly because the prices (though worth it) are not cheap. But I can say I did come in slightly under budget and walked away feeling I had gotten more than my money's worth. I highly recommend this.

We were visiting Houston for a wedding and wanted to experience a real steakhouse Texas style. My daughter, who lives in Houston, recommended Perry's. The place was beautiful. The staff was exceptional. Expert level knowledge of all menu items, including the huge wine menu. The food, simply outstanding. May I recommend the Perry's special pork chops. The steaks were cooked to perfection and we'll seasoned. The sides were portioned for 2, so keep that in mind when ordering. Whenever I return to Houston, I'll be back. It is a 5 star level restaurant. My experience proved that they are up to the rating.

I met a customer here for dinner. Terrific service, great atmosphere, wonderful wines and all of us greatly enjoyed our entrees. It’s a pricey place, but for a business meal or special occasion it’s a very nice place for dinner. The sea bass was great!

Perry’s has relocated to Baybrook Mall in Friendswood off the gulf freeway and the quality went with it!! Our group had the famous pork chop and the unusually good prime steak. Perry’s pork chop is very unique in that it huge and never dry. The marination process uses wine and other spices that have made even my German friend where pork is the best in the world — said “wow”this is great! it’s so big that you can’t finish it alone. I usually have it cut in half as several of the members of my party did. For me though their new offering of a “bone in “ fillet was the treat I have never experienced before. It was an aged filet that perhaps was the best I have ever tasted. An excellent wine card produced wonderful tastes in both reds and roses. The salads and dessert were as usual perfect. I favor the “fired” crime brûlée done at the table, and one of my friends ordered the Banana Foster — fired also at the table with brandy. We all agreed the meal was a memorable experience we would repeat again and again!

We celebrated my birthday in this place on a Saturday night couple of weeks ago. The place is busy and crowded. Loud and hard to have a normal conversation. Overall the service is prompt and courteous but nothing beyond normal. I ordered a steak to be prepared MR. Upon serving the steak the waiter stayed at the table side and wanted me to cut the steak in half to make sure it was prepared right. I guess they don't want the customers to eat half of their steak and then complain. The look of the steak was fine, however it was not cooked right. A MR steak should not be burnt on the outside and cold on the inside. Since I had OKayed the cut I chose not to mention it. The atmosphere is good, but the food and the service is average. The price is up there. There is an open kitchen and if you visit this place make sure you don't get a table next to the kitchen.

Perry's has two or three locations in Houston and we tried two of them in August 2016. Bay Area and Cypress. Both equally delightlfull to visit. Great personal service and the food, the wine and the drinks were many notches above other more economical steakhouses. Great places to enjoy great Texan food with friends and family. There 3-layer pork chop fantastic, but a doggy bag is a must. Execellent. Not the last time to visit.

Stopped in for lunch on Saturday. Not very busy and was seated immediately Waiter very attentive and took our ordered for drinks and brought water My husband ordered a hamburger and I got their grilled chicken house salad. My husband really liked the burger. Said it had good flavor and was very juicy. He got the 1/2 lb as there is also a 1/3 lb choice. The salad was large but consisted or basic lettuce base. Did not have any special type of lettuce such as spinach, kale, etc. chicken was tasty and not over cooked Would go back

This place has great steaks cooked to perfection, prices are high but worth every dollar you spend, highly recommended when taking out a date to impress, make sure you have your credit cards on hand cause it is gonna cost ya.

I had the rib eye steak. Well cooked (medium). Fries and vegetable sides were also excellent. You come to Perry's for the best steaks. He service is top notch. So if you have deep pockets and are looking for a formal, fine dining experience then Perry's is what you are looking for. I wouldn't come here for a casual Friday night steakhouse dinner - there are plenty of other places for that. Perry's is a place where you want to reserve for special occasions. Recommend - but for special occasions only. Too expensive otherwise.

We have been eating at Perry’s in the Webster/Friendswood area for years. Our friends wanted to try the Perry’s at Baybrook, si we agreed to go. Each couple decided to share the pork chop. I almost said something when they brought each person’s portion plated instead of cutting the whole pork chop at the table, but I refrained. In my plate were 2 ribs, my husband got 2 ribs, one of our friends received NO ribs, & her husband got one. One of our friends (the one with no rib) only had 2 big hunks of the meat. My large piece of meat was so dry they I finally stopped trying to eat it smothered in apple sauce. The thing is IF they were out of pork chops, just tell us. The menu has plenty other options, but do NOT insult us snd piece meal our order thinking we would not know. Will I go back?? Eventually. Will I recommend it to someone?? Yes, but not without this warning. But, I have to say kudos to our waiter. I believe his name was Jonathan. Both men forgot to take their credit cards out of the binder. We had to wait so long for our car that he was able to locate us outside and returned them which I thought was over and above his call of duty.

Overall Perry lost the intimate feel it had on Bay Area blvd. it is now a very large, noisy and no longer the romantic place we liked. To be sure, it is sleek, modern and should please the younger crowds. Staff was very friendly and efficient. Food was good, but not worth the increased prices. If the too-large size of the offerings is meant to help the guests swallow such high prices, it is not what we were looking for. The wine list was extensive. It is not a place we will return to, which is too bad.

Perry’s bar with a nice view and patio with a fireplace is a nice place to have a romantic date or girl’s night out. The service is amazing. I love their wedge salad. We all had the surf & turf which was delicious. The asparagus side is my favorite. Pretty much everything I ever get is good, but of course steaks are the best.

I attended a business dinner here August 30 and I was disappointed with the experience. There were three of us and two of us managed to receive the wrong entrees. The service staff were cordial enough towards us but seemed to have trouble getting their act together. The total cost of the dinner for the three of us was around $400 (with wine) and I thought that was a lot of money for marginal service and average food.

Wow, this place is fantastic. Now, it ain’t cheap but that doesn’t mean it’s not worth it. They have some unique offerings like the bison ribeye that I had and it was really good! Don’t pass on the deserts either. I had the creme brûlée that was good but others got some sort of hard frozen ice cream with a concoction of butter and pecans cooked at our table then poured of the ice cream...it was something else! Great service too.

Really a disappointment. Have been a customer of Perry's for over a decade. Used to love their restaurant. Then they built the one at the Baybrook Mall. Went there for their (used to be) wonderful appetizers. The escargots was awful. Absolutely covered with some kind of caramelized onions - used to be a simple escargot appetizer as it was meant to be. Inedible. So, opted for some fried calamari. Inedible. Then tried our other favorite, fried asparagus...UGH!! left hungry. Got too big for their britches, I guess. Won't be back.

My husband & I went Sunday 3/11/18. I made reservations at 4 pm when they opened. We waited at least 12 minutes before we got seated don’t know why so long. My name was written written wrong Casey instead of Tracy? Oh NP. Our dinner was very good, I ordered the chops, my husband bone in rib eye. My desert is in question I ordered the trio which is cheesecake, chocolate cake, cream brûlée. My cream brûlée I was disappointed because I’m used to having it served warm or at least room temp.mine was borderline cold, not real cold but cool. So that was my pet peeve. Other than that not getting seated right away & desert. I would still come back.

My lovely wife and I went to Perry’s for our wedding anniversary and the food, atmosphere, drinks and service were top notch. They got us in and to our table right on time and they even had red rose 🥀 petals on our table to honor our anniversary and provided us a free desert for the occasion. They definitely went above and beyond what we expected. The wait staff were very attentive and we enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere while we visited and waited for our meal. We both had filet mignon , my wife had it with lump crab on top and I had it with snow crab and truffle butter on top. The Steaks were cooked to perfection and they came on a bed of asparagus and I also ordered a stuffed baked potato. All of the food was prepared to perfection. I had ice tea and the wife had a gin & tonic which she said they are one of the few that can make it right. They brought us a creme brûlée for dessert which was on the house to help us celebrate our anniversary, which was very tasty and free made it taste even better! Overall we both agree we need to do this a lot more often than our Anniversary! 😊

I’ll never patronize the bar here ever again. Been several times over the holidays. Your orders, your attention, etc is all subservient to the regulars. That includes gossiping etc in between. Finally had enough and held up my card to close out. He saw it… but then the regulars asked for checks since they were given checks and closed out before attending to my check. The whole evening was like this. I bit my tongue throughout the evening but spoke to a manager on the way out and talked about my experience. He asked the bartenders name (Matt) etc but never once asked my name etc. How can a place run like this? Clearly the bar here is only for regulars. As I told the manager, i will never patronize the bar after this evening. Incredibly disappointing for this place.

The staff here is top notch. The food is wonderful. I enjoyed the Filet and my friend enjoyed the pork chop. The filet was amazing and cooked to perfection. The pork chop was huge and served as three portions. Very much recommend

Perry's is now at Baybrook Mall. I was never in the other location so cannot compare ambiance. This new location was a little loud for my "hard of hearing" father so that created some challenge. It was better once the live music ended. Food and service were great. Server helped pick a great bottle of wine to compliment our meal. She was also amazing at helping us celebrate an important milestone. Only major frustration was parking. There are not enough spaces for the expansion that now includes several restaurants. We circled the lot for 15 minutes and had to valet or be late for our reservation. This is the ONLY reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5.

This steakhouse was awesome. Had a steak that melted in your mouth. So good! My only compliant is that since I was flying solo, you can't get single size portions of the sides

My first visit to Perry's I ordered the pork chop dinner. Wow, was I surprised at the platter of meat that arrived. There were ribs, and a large portion of lean pork on the plate. The pork was so tender it literally melts in your mouth. It came with a potato side dish and crispy fresh green beans. Truly a gourmet meal. I had enough for 2 more meals at home. Server staff were attentive and efficient. I will return soon.

After several days of very average cuisine in Houston, it was a surprise and delight to find this establishment. This is proper "fine dining" with the all-important table linen, glasses and cutlery expected. We enjoyed two meals here with everything cooked to perfection, the service exemplary and even (with some searching in the cellar) some really good French wines. It gets very busy, so booking is essential. Highly recommended.

There is absolutely nothing negative anyone can say about Perry's except the price may be high - FOR that price you get tremendous ambiance, superior service and staff that is at your beck and call. 5 sold stars.

Perry's Baybrook is an excellent choice for a steak on the east side of Houston. They also have a good happy hour in their bar. Be sure to visit on a Friday for lunch for the 1/2 pork chop
Food is wonderful but new facility isn't
We loved the old location and always went on the day they serve the pork rib with wonderful garlic butter topping, The new location is pretty but too noisy and wait staff, while efficient, were mechanical and we felt rushed to leave. The lunch portion pork chop doesn't disappoint altho it is not offered every day. it's a "roast" about 3 normal chops in size - very tender and delicious. Mashed potatoes were average and could have been hotter temp. Probably won't eat there as often as in the past- if you happen to be there shopping it might be a consideration but otherwise a disappointment compared to the previous location.
