Very disappointing Thanksgiving!

By petitmot@gmail.com |

Despite reserving 4 days in advance and arriving just a few minutes late, we were received as if we had no reservation. My 90 yr father with his cane was told he should wait 10 or 15 minutes by the 5 hostesses (with their vulgar long nails!) , then another 10 minutes, then when we asked for a manager he told us 15 to 20 minutes more. No one offered a solution or even offered a place for my father - nor why they were so behind. Finally after inspecting the place myself, I saw that the bar area was practically empty - including 6 large booths. There were several other families many elderly all crowded into the reception, but no one even suggested the empty bar area. I inquired and was told we could sit where we wanted so we quickly took a large and comfy booth and had a wonderfully waiter and were able to order quickly and “save” the day. The manager passed by us several times and never stopped to check on us. I was really surprised. We didn’t dare (after all that) take the Thanksgiving spécial (which we didn’t even see on our menu!) but rather a steak and crab cakes. The meal was just as disappointing - fried crab cakes with a Cesar salad that had so much garlic that it was not edible. My father’s steak was over cooked and dry. What an amazing disappointment on all levels and especially service! I won’t go into the dirty toilets. I had heard so much about Perry’s but I will never return and suggest that it’s certainly not at the level they imagine! Thanksgiving is no excuse- they should be able to anticipate and plan.

Excellent food / Great "Social Hours"

By TexasX3 |

Love Perry's - review is overdue. My business associates and I love to go to Perry's for their afternoon Social Hour and enjoy vintage and creative cocktails along with light bites priced very reasonably. Perry's has excellent service as well with their assurance that your food and beverages are to your liking. The only complaint I have with Perry's is that they don't update their menu offerings often enough for my taste. While I love their cocktails, it took over two years to see anything new on the menu - pretty much the same for food. I understand that people come for consistency, but sometimes that can get boring. With that being said, it is still one of the best in the area.

Excellent food - excellent service!

By Ed S |

The The ChateauBriand was cooked perfectlyAnd the presentation was stunning. Our server Jeanne gave us extraordinary service. The wine selection was well above average and their private reserve was excellent. We will return!

Go to place for special events - like Friday date night!

By Scuba_Divers |

Consistently excellent steaks and service. Sides are almost as prominent as the steak - asparagus, lobster mac&cheese. If steak isn't your thing - go with the massive pork chop. Never witnessed anyone finish the pork chop in one evening. We rarely have room for dessert, but one of these days I'm willing to try. From the hostess' welcome to the final "have a good evening", the service is white glove.

Really Good

By Keith A |

In town on business. Our hotel was in N Houston and we had Steakhouse on our minds. Goggled N Houston steakhouses and Perry's came up as the closest. It was pure luck we ended here. We were seated in a very comfortable booth. Ambiance was typical of an upscale steakhouse. Many choices of delicious appetizers, salads, entrees and sides. Wine list, A+. From beginning to end it was a great steakhouse experience for us. Nothing negative comes to mind.

Pork Chops...at a steakhouse???

By ex-road warrior |

You're going to think like I did when a waitress recommended pork chops. I was actually ready to order Chateaubriand but ordered her recommendation based on how she described the dish and I had to try it. Needless to say it was amazing and I will order it again next time. The waitress was top-notch; attentive and courteous.

I don't often give 5's

By tonfifty |

I dined at the bar solo. one night i was there for the bar happy hr menu, i had the cheeseburger for $12 medium rare, and gee whiz, it was medium rare and good. the grilled asparagus was good, i tried the "signature" fried green beans, i didn't think they were anything special. Service was top notch. Drink menu and offerings were top notch, try their Manhattan 46 was good and substantial. i had wines by the glass which were great. Try the Pio Cesare Barbero for a mid price great red. I had that with the ribeye on my second visit. I've come to believe that steakhouses are getting really silly with their meat prices as i can out do them at home for 1/3 the cost. $35 ~ $45 was my previous limit...Steaks prices in the mid 60's and 50's just annoy me. I reluctantly ordered the ribeye and it justified it's price point. Kendra behind the bar is super.

The worst steak house experience I have ever had

By Bill |

If you like eating expensive burnt raw cold tiers...go to Perry's If I could give this restaurant a negative star rating I would. I ordered a medium rare $60 cut of meat. 5 min later It was served to me raw and ice cold...I could not even chew it... I told the wait staff it wasn't even cooked at all. They brought it back to the kitchen, who then rushed and burnt the absolute sh*t out of it making it dry and chewy... The manager, who brought the charcoal piece of carbon back to me had the attitude that I should be grateful that i was even in the restaurant and said something to the tune of "I guess you expected to get what you paid for". Only mildly apologetic, he walked away and then stared me down from behind the bar with the "gof**kyourself" body language. So now I have this $60 cut of garbage and cold sides because i had to send my main meal back and a bald manager glaring at me...super experience..... I would just as soon take my self, my family and my clients to McDonalds for better beef and service than I experienced at this epic failure of a money gauge, entitled rude establishment. Gas station beef jerky would have been a better experience then Perry's steak house. Save your money kids.......

Awesome meal!!

Great service. Server was fantastic. Perry's sea bass is a great choice. Not too crowded. Gin and tonic to top it off.

Best meal ever

By Douglas G |

Brought my extended family for dinner. I’d been to Perry’s in Dallas so expected it to be a good experience. It was a great experience. Jamie, who waited on us was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. She had a great attitude and anticipated our needs...most importantly, she was listening all the time. The food was outstanding. Best of all was the Wagyu special, center cut ribeye. I’ve had Wagyu before and, frankly, was not impressed. Apparently this version of Wagyu had been cross bred with Angus. One of the best steaks I’ve had...great flavor, perfectly cooked. It’s expensive, but at the end of the night I had no regrets when paying the bill.

Ought to be better

By butchAlabama |

The bad: the waitress was aloof and hurried, disappointing. The Chateaubriand was flavorless and meagre. The good: desserts were OK. Frankly, the place is over-priced, running on reputation from other locations. We will not return.

By Apert |

Can't beat the price for Lunch pork chops. Thy were amazing as always. we got there a little early nd had a drink at the bar. Best service ever.. same amazing service for lunch. Ordered the Scallop appetizer also.. amazing

Excellent dinner and drinks

By TJ M |

This is a high end restaurant. Very good food, service and presentation. Sea bass was excellent, fillet was excellent and the waygu appetizer is crazy expensive but wow that’s good stuff. Enjoyed the bar as well although TV could be located better to catch some of a game before or after dinner. Really hard to find a negative so that’s it.

Perry's Friday Special or anytime is good

By Dave |

I took two co-workers to the Champions locations. It was the first time for them and I was a repeat customer, however last time was not that great. I am happy to say, the restaurant was clean, the food good no atmosphere great this time. On Fridays, Perry's offers a special on their porkchop, which one guest took advantage of. I had the pasta and sirloin, very tasty and cooked perfect to order. My 3rd guest had a steak. We had appetizers of grilled asparagus , calamari and a teriyaki steak on crackers. I now recommend to try this location, well worth the time, but make reservations!

Perfect Christmas Eve Dinner with Family & Friends

The food was superb! As described! We loved our waiter Paul Newman. He was so professional & he gave us the best dining experience ever.

Amazing

By Kimsue88 |

We visited this restaurant for our 1 year wedding anniversary and it was really upscale and romantic. Dim lights and soft music. The mashed potatoes were everything and the prices were decent.

Fantástico

By rams2016 |

We were invited to dinner for Birthday and were very impressed with the service at the bar and at our table. I had the famous“Pork Chop” and wifey the filet both were plain out fantastic definitely a repeat

Wonderful place in the area.

By Ciglione |

Wonderful place in the area. Nice location, the bar zone is very modern and fashion and excellent the dining area. Great service and very good food. Also they have good wines selection. We really enjoyed the evening. To be back!

Not impressed

By cherylf124 |

We’ve gone to Perry’s for years, but this time we went, and the waiter was not attentive. He did not come to our table and check on us. We pour our own wine and ran out. He had no idea. The food was salty the steak the fish was very salty. The calamari looks like fried onion rings. They were terrible. They were very dry and the crème brûlée wasn’t fresh.

Don’t go for restaurant week

By Venture829033 |

Apparently Perry’s frowns upon Houston Restaurant Week. We ordered from their HRW menu and were served (AT BEST) the kids menu selection meats, which were very over cooked. $350 meal for 4 with mediocre service and bad food? Never again.

What a joke

By Andrew B |

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME if you want curbside pickup. My pickup time was 5:15 PM... it's been over 45 minutes. They have came out and checked my name twice and still no food. People behind me keep getting theirs but not me... By the time the food entered my truck it was already cold (except for the gumbo). They forgot my dessert... at least they remembered my wife's. It's sad when you have to heat up a bacon wrapped fillet in the microwave... never coming here again. Food is way better at Shanahan's

Lovely place to spend Valentine's Day!

By Lorine G |

My husband took me to Perry's in the Champions area for dinner on Valentine's Day. We were seated in a private wine room in the center of the restaurant, almost like we had the place to ourselves, with the exception of a few interruptions by wait staff retrieving the expensive bottles of private wine kept in there. Our waiter was terrific, and even though the restaurant offered a set menu/price for the night (excluding alcohol), there were still plenty of delicious dining options, including desserts. It was a romantic evening capped with outstanding service and food! Our only negative would be that they were extremely busy (completely booked for the night) so it took a while to get seated (even though everyone had reservations), and there was very little room to wait since the bar tables were also being used for dining reservations. If you plan to go for Valentine's Day or any holiday, make sure you book a reservation and book it early as this was apparently the place to be!

Best steak house around

Special Occasion Dinner

By Nancy D |

The food at Perry's is outstanding. We dined here late on Wednesday evening to celebrate my nephew moving to Tomball and purchasing his first house. 3 of us purchased the 3 course special for $45. Two of us selected the 8oz filet mignon and the other the pork chop. The 3 courses included a salad (Wedge or Caesar) choice of protein, and choice of dessert. Chateaubriand was the choice of 2 of our diners. It was presented beautifully with 3 sauces and steamed asparagus. The sides were melt in your mouth. We ordered the whipped potatoes, au gratin potatoes, and creamed corn. Colin our server was super attentive. He had recently been promoted to server and did a fantastic job. Our only complaint was the dining room was extremely noisy. Overall it was a wonderful way to celebrate a momentous occasion.

Birthday dinner

By Texasbeachfamily |

If you haven't been yet, you must go! The atmosphere, the food, the wait staff, just perfection! Recent trip to the champions location in Houston for moms 80th birthday celebration was absolutely picture perfect....and there were plenty of perfect pictures taken!! The reservations were exactly where I had asked to be seated. The piano player sang happy birthday to my sweet mom and we will be back very soon!!

Excellent Pork Chop

By Simithei |

The ambience of the restaurant was great, service from the staff were fantastic. Best of all was their pork chops, the best pork chops i've ever had and i'm not even a pork fan. Downside is the portion of the pork chop, extremely large for one person, i would think 2 person would struggle to even finish it.

PORKCHOPLICIOUSLYLICIOUSNESS

By Ron Murry |

For Veterans Day Weekend Celebration we had Dinner at Perry's Steakhouse & Grille (Champions). They are Honoring Veterans & Active Military with a complimentary Pork Chop Dinner, Salad & Dessert. We made reservations for 5pm and we arrived right on time. We have ate there a few times before and always Loved whatever we ordered. We were greeted by a whole lot of Staff and they showed us to our table, which is a Half Booth type (our favorite) in a corner. Our Server is Peter and he took our drink order while my Wife looked over the Menu. Here is what they are offering the Veterans; Seven Finger High 32oz Pork Chop rubbed with a Secret Blend of Seasonings, Cured, Roasted, Slow Smoked, Caramelized, finished in the Oven & topped with Perry's Herb-Garlic Butter and Carved Tableside (this is a 4 to 6 hour cooking process). Served with a Salad of choice, I chose the 'Spinach & Warm Bacon Vinaigrette' Salad ... and a Dessert; 'Dessert Trio'; Vanilla Bean Creme Brulee, Chocolate Crunch & Praline Cheesecake. Now that is a meal. When Peter returned with our drinks, my Wife and I ordered. She is having the 'Surf & Turf with Pasta'; Filet Mignon (med rare), Lobster & Tomato Basil Sauce atop Pasta. While we waited for our food we toasted and the Manager came around to our table and Thanked Me for my Service and we chatted for awhile. During our time there we saw him going around to all the tables chatting with everyone ... and Perry's is Packed with people. Peter brought out their Fresh Warm Bread with Soft Butter and this Bread is served Hot, right out of the oven ... and is it ever sooooo goooood. I had several slices of this and more with my Salad, and it came out right after the Bread. This Salad is not small at all ... it's Huge and looks Beautifullylicious ... and it is. The Spinach is Perfect and that dressing Amazing Tastyliciousness. This is like a Meal in Itself. My Wife also tried this and Loved it. Right when I finished the Salad, our food arrived and my Wife's 'Surf & Turf with Pasta'. Filet Mignon, Lobster & Tomato Basil Sauce atop Pasta ... and it's Beautifully Displayed. My 'Pork Chop' is on a cart all by itself because at Perry's they Carve it Tableside and explaining what they are carving as they carve. First the 'Eye of the Chop' (Eyelash), the Juiciest part, then the 'Loin', then the 'Ribs'. It's pretty dark in Perry's and the pictures of the Pork Chop is kind of dark, and it was right at the table. This Pork Chop is Juicyliciouslylicious ... Tender and Tasty. Their Seasoning is Superb and the Flavor WOWs you. It's One Amazinglylicious Pork Chop. This is 32 ounces of Deliciousness and I did not eat all of it and took some home. My Wife Loved her 'Surf & Turf with Pasta'. The Filet was prepared Perfectly and Very Tenderliciousness. The Lobster was Fresh and Lobsterlicious and the Pasta was Very Good ... and a lot of it. She also did not eat all of hers and it came home with us. She had some of mine and I hers and we both agreed they were The Best. Now it was time for Dessert ... as if we had room for it ... Peter brought out the 'Dessert Trio' and it also looks Beautiful. Perry's does an Excellent Presentation of Food on all their dishes. The 'Chocolate Crunch' is Fluffy Chocolate-ee Liciousness with a Slight Crunch / The 'Praline Cheesecake' is Very Creamylicious and has a White Crust of sort ... it was Uniquelylicious. The 'Vanilla Bean Creme Brulee' has the Perfect Light Crunchy Crust and a Delicious Creme Brulee. My Wife said she isn't tall enough to try the Dessert but then gave in and did so ... that's some good stuff. We ate all of this and now are Really Stuffed. Perry's was Perfect for our Early Sunday Evening Dinner. Peter earned the Dollar-Bow-Tie Award and Loved it. Thank You Perry's for honoring Veterans and providing an Excellent Meal ... that Pork Chop is the Best Ever ... and your Staff ROCKS. Thank You Peter for providing Excellent Service ... my Wife and I enjoyed chatting with you and of course, our meal. When My Wife and I left, there were numerous people waiting inside and outside to enjoy the Best of Service and Top Quality food ... and a lot of it. Check'em out On-Line "Perry's Steakhouse & Grille - Champions" ... Anything you order will be Tastyliciousness ... you will Enjoy the Experience. Thank You Baby for all that you do and you do a lot. Love You Bunches & Munches.

Perfect Venue for Business Dinner

By Jon C |

This location of Perry's has a large dining area but the tables are spaced generously enough so you can enjoy privacy and the noise level is low enough to enjoy conversation. The Food is superb and has a number of unique appetizers and entrees you should definitely try. Steaks were cooked to perfection as you would expect.

Yes, this is another Valentine's Day story. Ready?? After much mulling and procrastination, I finally decided to make a reservation for a Valentine's dinner with my wife. We arrived at 8:50pm for our 9 o'clock reservation and there were so many patrons already there just waiting in the entrance. I'm definitely not known for my patience, especially when there is a crowd involved, but I was determined not to ruin my wife's experience here. After we checked in, it was suggested that we wait in the lounge and they would come and find us, or we could come back to the counter in 25 minutes or so to check again. At 9:30 they weren't ready, at 9:48 we were seated and well worth the wait for the management paid for our lounge drinks. Initially we were offered the option to have our meal in the lounge. Hahaha! Are you kidding? I had the Prime Ribeye, medium rare, which was a little fatty but flavorful. My wife ordered the Perry's Famous Pork Chop, and that monster took the show! Our server cut it for her and explained the different parts of the chop which stood nearly 6" high, ribs and all. It was sooo good! I know what I'm ordering next time we visit (on a non-holiday), and my wife will probably order something less "intimidating". Our evening was wonderful, the servers were very attentive without being intrusive, and just watching the waiters, servers, bussers, etc. move throughout the restaurant was entertainment in itself. I must admit, for a Valentine's Day rush, the staff stayed friendly and helpful. Oh, did I mention that when you go down the back hallway to the restrooms, the staff all stand to the side to let you walk through? Yeah, that was cool too!

Perry's, Cypresswood

By surfnshopntravel |

I enjoyed my first meal at Perry's! Had a Caesar salad (loved the flavor!), filet mignon, with potato au gratin and asparagus sides, and a sampler of three desserts: creme brulee, cheesecake, and orange chocolate truffle. Everything I tried was delicious. Our server was very polite and attentive, the ambience was nice although the area where we sat (private dining room) seemed a little dark and we could hear the noise/conversations outside the room. Would not hesitate to go back if given another opportunity.

Freshly updated but needs accoustical upgrade

By bobtheauditor |

This Perry's location was flooded during Harvey. My wife and I were frequent customers prior to 2017 when we moved away. Having recently returned to the area we wanted to see what the new remodel was like. We were there for Perry's 4 courses for $44. We had a reservation and we seated immediately. The first impression was that the entire dining room was much lighter, and easier to navigate. The second impression, which unfortunately stayed with us the entire evening, was how loud it was inside! You could hear conversations from across the room. Let's talk about the food. Perry's continues to impress with both quality, quantity, and the food is always at the proper temperature. Our waiter had a number of large groups but the rest of the staff assisted him properly. The Pork Chop is still my go to and is the best value anywhere. My wife had the 6 oz. filet and the first plating was over cooked, so a replacement was promptly served which was perfect. Other than the noise issue, which made conversation difficult, I have two other issues. The first is the lack of a dress code. I cannot understand why men are permitted to wear baseball caps into this upscale restaurant; plus many patrons were wearing t-shirts (no collars) and flip flops! I have always had an issue with this behavior at this location. Second, the wine is now priced between 300 and 400 percent, of what you would pay for a bottle at Specs or Total Wine. My wife and I plan on visiting again during a Sunday Afternoon and sit in the newly renovated bar area. Hopefully it will be quieter, and people will be dressed more appropriately!

Stake cooked to perfection

By Flo M |

Everything was great. We ordered stake-ribeye- and it was absolutely great. The service spotless Perrish was spot on and made us very good recommendations that would fit everyone’s tastes and preferences. Fine dining yes, spicy prices yes but worth it:)

nothing short of perfection

By coetken |

i have been to steak houses all over the world, and still have not found any better than this. from the service, to the appetizer and main course, to the dessert...everything is excellent to say the least. yeah it's expensive, but worth every penny!

Great Food and Atmosphere

By mjr0108 |

My wife took me out for my Birthday to Perry's and it was great food and great attention to detail all around. Our server was present when needed and didn't get in the way. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection.

Graduation celebration.

By Travis A |

My wife and I ate here with some friends for a graduation. The pork chop is amazing! I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Disappointed in the quality of food

By O8811CXanah |

We used to go here in the past and now have tried it twice since it reopened and the meat does not appear to be prime beef - not sure if they changed vendors but it was not as tasty and had gristle - the service was great as always which is why they get a 3.

Thanksgiving Dinner at Perry's

By L P M |

We dined at Perry's Champions location for the first time on Thanksgiving Day for dinner. The restaurant was busy, but our party of 3 was seated close to our reservation time. We ordered from their Thanksgiving Fixed Price Menu and the meal was delicious. We all ordered the Butternut Squash Bisque to start, the Roasted Turkey Breast entreé, and finished with the Pumpkin Pie with Chantilly Cream for dessert. A bottle of Marques Caceres Dry Rosé was the perfect pairing. Our server was Samantha and she did a great job. Each course was served separately after we had finished the previous course so we didn't feel rushed. The timing was just right. We will dine here again in the future.

Definitely for special occassions

By Rob C |

Every time we visit Houston, my parents are always down to take my family out to Perry's. To be honest, it's quite a bit fancier than what my wife or I would do for a special date night (udon and sushi please), but hey, I definitely won't turn down an outing to Perry's. The food is definitely high quality, the steak is always delicious and I can order it bloody and feel good knowing that I'm getting choice meat to sate my appetite. The veggies are always awesome and the appetizers could almost be a 5 star meal in themselves. However, I think what really stands out in my mind is how awesome the drinks are, especially their martinis, which I get clean with an extra helping of olives. I never have enough room for dessert (drinks can be dessert, right?) and we're always taking leftovers back to my folks' house as delicious snacks for later. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for top tier dining.

Open for Lunch Friday only

By sherry_retired |

The bread service was very crispy and soft inside. I had a Hamburger. The bun was buttered and grilled, which I like. I thought the burger was a little dry, as it is a thick burger. I substituted steamed asparagus for the potatoes. It was peeled at the stem, so was very tender. I also ordered the 1/2 order fried asparagus with lump crab in garlic butter, not peeled, but very tasty. Friends had the Pork Chop lunch special. Very thick, lightly smoked with 2-3 ribs. It seemed to be very popular. I liked the back room seating, as it was not all hard surfaces, so quieter. Good service by Matthew. I look forward to my next visit.

Above & Beyond

By F5918HMmaryk |

We celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary at Perry's and had a wonderful experience. We've eaten there before and on this visit, I had the chateaubriand. Of course, it was cooked to perfection. Jamie, our waitress paid attention to every detail. The pictured item is the creme brûlée. Delicious!!!

Lovely

By Kimsue88 |

As before the atmosphere was perfect dim lights, great staff and great food. Our server was Logan who was on point. I had the Whipped Mash and the Alaskan King Crab and the oh so awesome Smoky Rita drink. My friend had the T-Bone Steak and Logan recommended the Lobster MAC n Cheese. Everything was perfect, so if you would like a romantic fine dining restaurant to try come on over to Perry’s Champion Location.

BUSY!

By Snakewrangler |

For an early dinner at 630p it was packed! I had to park in a different lot since there were no parking spots available. The service was terrific. The drinks were heavy on the booze (be careful - there was a police car in the parking lot watching people leave). The food was OK. The prices were terrible.

Just amazing

By 241Frank |

superb service delicious steaks, wonderful wines even with reservations had a 40 minute wait. I can’t say anything negative about our experience everything was Excellent. Bring plenty of money!

Best stuffed pork chop

By Magic Man Mike |

Our visit was on a Sunday evening and was able to walk in and get seated. We were great by an excellent and friendly staff. Our wait person was knowledgeable of the menu and provided great suggestions. The stuffed pork chop was spot on and excellent flavor. Filet’s were cooked to perfection with plenty of flavor!

VERY Disappointed

By goodguy8675309 |

We’ve been to this location of Perry’s many times. The food and service are usually VERY good. However, I have to agree with other reviewers, we were extremely disappointed. We purposely made our reservations for rather late, 7:45, in order to miss the 6:00 rush. The service was extremely slow. We noticed that the server had tables all over the dining room. The steaks were under-cooked (everyone order medium rare). When we asked the Maitre D’ to cook one a little bit more, he had a very snide remark. After 2 hours we again asked the Maitre D to serve our deserts. He blew us off and told the server to bring them in “To Go” boxes.

Food cannor overcome lack of service

By MikeStefHalJoJ |

Party of 6, quick to seat, slow to serve, cocktails, food, check. Price is not commensurate with overall experience. Second try for this chain. Maybe give it one more chance but doubtful given multiple quality stores in Houston,

Still very good

By MrSimonDale |

Came here for the second time with friends and again had a wonderful meal, the fillet mignon was very good, well cooked and melted in the mouth Wine list is good and manageable! Best dessert was the trio which for once was not too huge to eat Great evening with great company Can’t be bad!

Amazing Smoked Rita & Steaks

By YeselHyatt |

This location is great, the restaurant has excellent valet service and even though we were sat in the lounge (not the main dining hall in order to minimize wait time) it was nice and quiet. It's better to have a reservation (we didn't) but they have will try to accommodate you quickly without one. Try the filet mignon and the smoked margarita (these are delicious). The drink comes with a habanero spiced rim but no worries there it only has the right amount of kick to let you know but not ruin your taste buds in the process ...

This is one of our favorite places to go for great food.

By Thom M |

If you have never been, you should give it a try. The food portions are large, most people leave with a "to go box" and very full. The pork chop will blow you away. It is a masterpiece, as are the sides that come with it. All there food is top choice.

Oh my goodness!

BEST Steak in town! Hands down! Try their bone in rib eye with escargot starter and a bottle of Pino.

Lunch for Easter Sunday

By Doug S |

We made reservations at Perry's for lunch on Easter Sunday after mass. The restaurant appeared to have just opened for business on that day because many of the staff were standing as if they had just had their "opening shift" meeting, waiting on customers to arrive. We were immediately seated, in an area where another table of 4 were sitting. Our waitress came to our table very quickly and took our drink order. She then brought us our basket of bread and soft, very spreadable creamed butter (which was delicious) which our kids dove into right away. We passed on any appetizers and dove right into our entree ordering. I decided to go with the Pecan-Crusted Gulf Red Snapper Topped with jumbo lump crabmeat and white wine cream sauce. I was a little hesitant at first because I'm very apprehensive about ordering crab that has already been shelled. I do not like eating crab only to find bits and pieces of shell in the meat. However, I decided to cast my fears aside and go with it, and was glad that I did. The crab meat was hearty and there was no evidence of any shells anywhere. The plate was served with some very thin broccoli which I'm not sure that I've ever had, but they were really good! My wife and daughter ordered the Filet Mignon, and son ordered Fried Shrimp. We also ordered two sides: a side of Creamed Spinach and the Macaroni and Cheese and both were outstanding! It was a great and delicious way to spend Easter Sunday!

The food and service certainly exceeded my expectations

By gsteel50 |

I have never been here before and in July which is their anniversary they offer a four course meal for $44 per person everything we ordered from the fried asparagus and black and blue appetizers, to the chop salads with applewood bacon, and the Porkchop which is more food you could possibly imagine along with the 6 ounce filet mignon were absolutely amazing dishes. We ended the night with the peanut butter dessert & the desert trio which were extremely satisfying, but I was so full I couldn't finish them. Jason our server was super helpful with our questions and his recommendations were spot on. The management staff was constantly checking on us to make sure our experience was not to be forgotten. This was a total five star experience for us & will definitely be going back😀

Private room "The Legacy Room" dining experience was great!

By Patti M |

We attended a small 'work' gathering (15 people) for dinner in the private room and the waiters were attentive. Most folks went with the Filet and enjoyed it. Everyone raved about the appetizers that had steak on bread and the breaded asparagus was very tasty. The guy who had a snapper gave a big thumbs up as well. If you ever have to find a place to book an event of 10-20 people, this is a nice place to take them as it is quiet and gives a personal feel.

Unbelievable!

By mlarryeliz |

We had a group of friends meet in the Houston area and decided we wanted an excellent steak! We hit the mark at Perry’s!! The steaks were unbelievably tender and the signature pork chop was “over the top!” The sides were equally amazing and the service was as you would expect for a restaurant of this class. We will return!

Bye bye Hrvey

Perry's is back and looks great. Menu is outstanding. Houston Harvey 3 course dinner is fantastic. Wedge salad, Signiture Pork Chop and Chocolate Bar for dessert.

Great steaks and pork chops.

By shaun r |

Likely the nicest restaurant in the cypress wood area. The steaks are full and flavorful. If you are really adventurous, try the 32 oz tomahawk ribeye. Nice and tasty. My favorite is still the pork chop dinner. I have only eaten the whole thing twice. The separate parts are worth the trip. Try the pepper calamari for a starter. Great way to open. I love the nutty ice cream flambé for dessert. I forget the name, but it is nutty something. The service is always attentive and friendly. Can get a tad loud in the evenings.

Great renovation & happy hpur

By texasgirl1969 |

This location has been nicely renovated after damages from Hurricane Harvey. Bar servers are very friendly and service is always great! Pork chop bites, pizza, burger, stuffed mushrooms are all good from the HH menu. Drinks are spot on as well. Consistently fine dining every time we go to Perrys!

Pork Chop Friday

By VioletG716 |

Friday’s are the only day that they serve lunch..for years friends have told me about their enjoyable lunch but I had dinner there years ago and never went back. Recently decided to do lunch with a friend. We had reservations for 11:30 . On arrival we were greeted warmly and seated promptly. Our waitress introduced herself but the music was too loud so we didn’t hear her name. However she was wonderful, very polite and knowledgeable. The food was very tasty and well done. We both ordered the signature Pork chops. Portions way too much for the average person. We both took home enough for our husbands dinner. Our waitress even gave us a nice well packed fresh bread to take home. The meat was a little on the dry side but parts were tender and moist.

best in the area

go there often to Happy hour and for business. great place and food selection. they are very professional and food is AWESOME!

Tough Steaks

By dennis h |

Very disappointing food. Steaks were tough. We have always been pleased by Perry's but not this time. I don't know if disappointment or anger is more appropriate. I wasted lots of money at this place.

Used to be a favorite... all changes aren't good

By Kevin B |

Dinner October 29, 2016 Hate to nitpick, but at the price, I feel somewhat justified. My daughter (21), always asks for something fun and fruity with light alcohol. Server couldn't grasp, continued to cite menu drinks. Had to ask him three times to simply ask the bartender. He eventually just brought us the drink he recommended. Appetizers (tuna tartar and escargot) were great. Had to speak to server about being attentive. Sat for 10 minutes with empty drink. Wife ordered filet med-rare "plus," and he said he understood. Daughter ordered med-rare "light" and he said he would take care of it. Both came out rare. Very rare. Had to send wife's back to be cooked. Brought out wrong wine. Inattentive server (better after I spoke with him). Manager Travis comped our wine, but didn't actually discuss our issues with us--just said "you seem unhappy, so I'm taking care of your wine. My pork chop was great. Not the service or quality I've come to expect, nor feel entitled to given prices. We used to be regulars, but decided to do some in-town Houston and Woodlands dining recently. Given I saw no sign of Josh Boltz, I'm guessing management has changed. Overall disappointing birthday evening.

Great Experience

By TCK |

Great suggestion by a vendor of ours for supper. I had a filet, salad, Mac and cheese and creme brûlée, all exceeded my expectations. Filet was a very Good cut and cooked to a perfect rare. Lobster Mac was excellent and the salad was fresh with great tasting tomatoes. The dessert was awesome as was the waitress.

Not a romantic place!

By jamie g |

We went to celebrate our anniversary. We sat in the bar for a while and it was amazing! Then we were seated for our dinner. I sat staring at a blank wall with the corner of a flat screen on wall right next to me. I had to pour our wine and water all night long, this wouldn’t bother me but we spent $400 on dinner!!!! Not MY job! The food was good, but we should’ve been treated way better!!!!! I’m so very disappointed!!!!!

Overrated

By TripperTX |

After hearing people rave about Perry's for years I decided to take my wife for our 30th anniversary dinner. In short, the wait staff was good, my wife's filet mignon and fried shrimp were good and stuffed mushrooms were very good. On the negative, my rib eye was cut too thin and the brussel spouts were a salty, greasy mess. After spending $100 per plate not including the 2 bottles of wine, I feel they are overpriced and overrated.

Incredible Pork Chop

By Roary |

Went here for dinner on the recommendation of a business contact. Before arriving in Houston, I had researched for a good steak place on various websites and forums... Perry's came up one or twice for the porkchop, but not their steaks. And since it was a chain, it didn't really appeal to me at first. But now that I've gone, I can freely admit I was wrong. I tried the following: - Butcher's Chop Salad - Very good. Well dressed, great flavour. I'm not much of a salad person, but I really enjoyed this one. - Prime New York Strip - Good, but I was expecting something more. I could get a steak just as good in any other large city. - Famous Pork Chop - Excellent. I didn't know a pork chop could be so good. Sliced table side, it was certainly had a show factor, but the pork itself was even more incredible. Fantastic caramelization, flavour and texture. No wonder it's famous. - Pan Seared Sea Bass - Very good. Perfecty cooked, paired with a nice coulis - Steamed Broccoli - OK. Nothing special. - Sweet Sriracha Brussels Sprouts - Excellent. Best roasted brussel sprouts I've ever had with good hint of sweetness and spice - Au Gratin Potatoes - Good. - Nutty D'Angelo - Very good. Flambéed tableside, it's another sight to see. A treat for anyone with a sweet tooth. Service was professional, attentive, and very accomodating to our needs. Overall, a surprisingly good meal. Again, I wasn't expecting much from a place with so many locations, but that pork chop alone is enough reason to go back. It is expensive, but worth the cost for a special occasion. 4.5 out of 5.

Overpriced and Slow Service

By Woodlands21 |

I eat at Perry's in The Woodlands and always have good value for money. Friday nights are busy but the restaurant should accommodate for this. Service was very slow, took 50 minutes to get bread on the table! Food was OK but at close to $40 for a small piece of red snapper, try Pappadeaux. Much better and half the price. We won't be going back.

Get the Pork Chop!!

By MyDailyNut |

Had a business dinner here recently. Our host strongly recommended the Pork Chop. Since I was in Las Vegas previous week and had plenty of steak, i decided to go with the local recommendation. Its a 32 oz. Pork Chop and they finish it at the table. You have the chop, the loin, and the eye-lash. Lots of meat but you get the pork 3 different ways. Fine Texas steakhouse and don't forget the sides!

Not A Good Experience

By John777CAL |

I must have picked the wrong night and the wrong place to bring my girlfriend for her birthday. We were promptly seated and it went downhill from there. Our waiter was either on his first night or his last night - either way, it was pathetic. We ordered the magnum of wine, and when it arrived, we ordered an appetizer and a salad. Several minutes later, the wine came followed several minutes later by the salad. When our salad was almost finished, he asked if we wanted bread. Normally, that happens before the salad is served. He then asked if he could take our order, which we ordered off the menu. Meanwhile, the table next to us, who had a different server, described to them some options available off menu - we never heard those. After dinner, a small desert tray with 3 desserts and a birthday candle were delivered, and after we finished that, we waited 15 minutes for our check. Finally, I grabbed the half finished bottle of wine, the leftover bag, and headed to the door for a manager. Finally, the waiter showed up at the front door, handed me the check, with no explanation to apology for missing in action. I would understand if it was a crowded weekend night, but when I walked out of the restaurant, there were maybe 10 tables with people. Terrible experience. I’m not one to ask for any type of compensation for poor service - I just don’t give them any more of my money - like the $350 they got this night for a terrible birthday experience.

Superb - Excellent food and atmosphere

By SLTraveller2914 |

Sat in the bar because it was very busy. Service was a little slow but the food compensated for it. Excellent food - Perry's Filet with their specialty asparagus. Steaks were cooked to perfection, which is not easy to get if you like "well done" Enjoyed the piano music also.

Too overprice for mediocre food

By impella17 |

If you want value for your money I guess you have to look somewhere else. The price of everything here is almost triple of what you can have on other restaurants with identical food quality. I was really disappointed as I was expecting larger portions for the amount that they were charging ( whatever happened to the saying everything is big in Texas is nowhere found here ), and you also have to order the sides for those entree for it's not included in the price of steaks. The ambience is the only thing I can appreciate on this place and the valet with generous parking. It will really take a lot of persuasion for me to comeback here.

Fabulous food with disappointing experience

By vacplanner |

My son wanted to treat the family to a meal at Perry’s as a post Christmas treat. We were quite excited! Since we had two teenagers in our party of six, he scheduled 5:45 reservation to get us in at a good time for families. Granted, the restaurant had no way to know that 4 of our 6 are over 6’ tall! We were taken to a small corner table where we were crammed in at a table that could have better seated 4. We mentioned that it was too crowded and could we possibly be moved. Server said he would check but no follow up and our service began. We were so crowded that two drinks were overturned in the course of our meal completely because there was no room on the table for all of the plates/glasses/serving dishes. Prior to coming we had pre-selected a nice bottle of wine ($52) but when we ordered that, server was insistent that we needed a better wine - brought us a sample of it - and to avoid further pressure, we bought the $72 bottle he was pushing. Awkward for my son and unnecessary. The food was fabulous. We knew in advance that it is expensive. We were fine with that. But spending $555 for a special meal should include a special experience. Disappointing.

Excellent food and Service

Pork chop Friday is a Great day for Perry's. The pork chop is huge, delicious and you won't be able to finish it all. Good for leftovers. Service is top notch.. Love eating at Perry's at Champions.

BEWARE!

SAFETY WARNING! THIS HAPPENED AT PERRYS CYPRESSWOOD #PerrysSteaks WARNING: Stay Away and Stay Safe -ATTENTION REPS: There are plenty of Resturants with better food and customer service without a crime issue including: PELI PELI in Vintage Park, DARIOS ON 290, STERLING COUNTRY CLUB in Cypress, PAPPADEAUX on 1960 has fresh seafood and all offer private dining rooms. Just before Christmas I was humiliated exiting the resturant by finding my vehicle broken into and the console area rummaged, items taken. The car next to mine (we were less then 50 ft from the front of the building) was broken into at the same time and had left hours earlier. PERRYS DID NOT HAVE THE DECENCY to call out my license plate number so that I could be alerted in a timely manner. My vehicle was open to the elements and further pilfering. They offered a broom and trash bag and scotch tape for my long, cold miserable drive home with broken glass flying around in the car pelting me. The manager said I wasn't notified sooner because "IN OUR EXPERIENCE ITS BETTER FOR BUSINESS TO LET THE DINNER FINISH" so you can imaging how shocked and appalled we were that this happens a lot and their modus operandi is to NOT tell anyone, wait for a woman to walk alone into the parking lot in the dark at night and find this. BAD PLAN PERRY'S. THIS IS NOT SAFE. THIS MAKES PEOPLE FEEL EVEN MORE VULNERABLE AND FEAR FOR PERSONAL SAFETY. I am a rep and I bring physician clients to Perry's so that they can receive excellent customer service and decent food. In asking others I found that it's a reoccurring issue here, with hood ornaments stolen and breakins occurring in the valet area as well. YOUR CLIENTS & LOVED ONES ARENT SAFE HERE! DONT LET YOUR PERSONAL SAFETY BE AFFECTED BY PERRYS APATHY ***Another person from my company just had the same experience 01-12-2016 when she joined my party and I gave them a second chance 😫

Amazing food and service.

By NicolePG123 |

I had the private room for dinner and everything was amazing. The service was perfect, the food from the appetizers to the steak was divine. Perry's does not disappoint. It has been a long time since I've been back to this location and it's just as wonderful as I remember. Also, the private room was incredibly quiet once they closed the doors. We were able to enjoy our presentation without noise distraction. I would highly recommend this place.

Not what it used to be

By Fengshuidiva |

Perry's used to be our go to locally for a nice dining experience. I doubt we will go back. It has become quite generic in ambience and decor. The food was fine but not wonderful- having celebrated a friends dinner at peli peli recently - I would never now pick Perry's over that restaurant or several other white table cloth options locally. This being said - our server was lovely and that was not at all part of the issue. It actually made us quite sad as we have been celebrating family events there since our college age children were in elementary school.

Greatest Pork Chop Ever

By houstontiger60 |

Enough for four people, Ok maybe 3, Perry's pork chop is an amazingly good mouth-watering, tender chunk of Heaven. First experience was tonight, and wow.

Delicious!

By aileecia c |

The pork chops... oh my goodness! The lobster bisque was also phenomenal. Overall we enjoyed great service and great food!

Great Steak

By hitkrdnk |

I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The bar area was a little crowded when we arrived but even though we were 40 minutes early for our reservation we were seated quickly. The shrimp cocktail and calamari appetizers were excellent. I ordered the cowboy ribeye, medium rare, for my entree. When I got the steak it was closer to medium than medium rare, and even though the waiter asked us to cut into our steaks to ensure that they were cooked to our liking, I chose to keep it instead of sending it back. It was delicious. The wait staff were also excellent.

Poor service

By Sandra M |

We had reservations and had to wait over 1 hour to be seated. After complaining 3 times I asked to speak to the manager, we were then seated. The manager offered free drinks which we were charged for. We have been to this restaurant many times but will not go back because of this horrible service

Mother's Day Dinner

By TheUltimateLady |

I have been hearing about their pork chops for over a decade and finally got around to trying them. They were FABULOUS but huge! I love the ambience.

Not so much

By Paul E |

This Perry's may be a good place for large group, office expense account dinner, but for smaller groups (friends, family) - not so much. The food was just ok - wedge salad drowned in salad dressing, one appetizer served cold, etc. But the kitchen and wait staff were just slow. On a Wednesday the restaurant was busy but not full and yet it took 3 hours for us to complete our dinner. Plenty of time to order extra wine, except the waiter said the bartender was backed up! What? Obviously understaffed. Given the slow service, mediocre cuisine & lively noise level of the restaurant and the ample nearby choices at the Vintage, Perry's is no longer on our list.

Excellent service from Vera and great food.

By SBF2 |

A party of 4 went for lunch after Thanksgiving. We were seated and served by Vera, who did a fabulous job for us. We ordered and all the food was delivered prepared as requested and well presented. The steaks and sides were excellent. Nice wine list and great alternative to turkey leftovers.

This was the best dinner experience

By JohnnyCroomes |

This was the best dinner experience I have had in a long time. The food was delicious and tasty. The seafood shush kabob with luscious salmon, sea bass, shrimp, and scallops were scrumptious. My wife had the 8 oz ribeye wrapped in bacon, topped with crabmeat. We finished with the incredible bananas foster prepared table side. Her lemon drop martini was made to order. This date night was so special with the help of Perry’s and their incredible waitstaff.

Fabulous!

By RevC F |

Thank you to the wait staff, the chef and the catering staff for an outstanding party in honor of my sister. The food was fabulous.

Awesome Friday Lunch

By Paul J |

Invited another couple to join my wife and I for Perry's Friday pork chop lunch special. Three of us had the special and the fourth had salmon which he said was excellent. The pork chop was awesome along with the mashed potato side. To much to eat at one sitting so we all had leftovers to take home. My wife also had a side of mushrooms which we all agreed were the best we had ever eaten. When we were leaving we noticed that most diners had ordered the special which is obviously a real hit.

Sunday Night Bar 79 Menu

By Paul D |

Love going to Perry’s on a Sunday night for their 3 meat burger with sweet potato fries and a great glass of Red wine. Don’t go as often as I like but it’s a great burger

Best Dinner Experience in Champions Area!

By EllisEsquire |

We had waited to return to this location, as it has been under renovation in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. The remodel was done expertly and we loved the new color scheme and seating configurations. Our meal was perfect to a ‘T’. The service provided by our waiter, Paul, was first class and the piano music was a great add to the ambience. For first timers, don’t stress on dinner choice and pick the pork chop-you won’t regret it!!!

Perry's Tour

By a p |

It's a Perry's Tour...we started at this location. The ambiance is striking. Jaime the piano man stood out as we walked in. The music was at the perfect volume as he stuck a cord with the audience. Lyndsy attended our table with expert qualities. The 2014 Beatial Malbec is always great as recommended by Eric W. at the SA La Contera location.

Birthday Dinner

By susan r |

Simply fantastic. It was my Birthday and they made me feel so special. Cant say enough about the menu, the service and the wine. I love it all. who knew you could put lobster in mac and cheese and make it even better 5 stars!

Terrible service

By DGM_travel |

I liked this place, but will not be coming here any more. The service went way south since we were here last year. Waited forever for everything and at the end they forgot to bring cappuccino. They are not cheap, I expect much more attention in an establishment of that caliber

Awesome Place

By ClayF2 |

They serve lunch only on Fridays, and with small fixed menu, but is cheaper than dinner. I have been here a few times, including with my company events. Awesome service. Awesome food. Good environment. They have valet parking but I usually park myself.

Delicious

By EPF15 |

Had a great dinner here after a long day of travel. I was greeted immediately and had a seat in the bar area. The decor was outstanding and the service provided by the team was impeccable. The pork chop was delicious as usual and the Brussel sprouts were on point. Outstanding experience all around, thank you.

Great Food and nice ambiance!

By judybh3ah |

We arrived before 6:00pm for an early dinner. We were celebrating a special occasion. Tell them if you are celebrating and you will receive a dessert on the house. They have an extensive wine list, however we were in the mood for martinis they were made perfectly just the way we like them. If you arrive before 6:00pm and you order a steak you get a free appetizer, I believe there has to be a party of 2 for this freebee. We ordered the calamari and I did not care for it since it was loaded with jalepeno and banana pepper and was quite spicy not as crisp as the calamari I am used to. They gave us a platter full so needless to say we had to box up half of the order. There are other options for your appetizers. Our steaks were perfectly cooked and served with a Garlic butter topping, other toppings are available. We chose the au gratin potatoes for our side they were super cheesy and delicious! I will go back just for the potatoes! The manager Yovane came by to say hello and gave us a run down on the restaurants history, this location started out as a meat market. Our steaks were huge and I suggest ordering small if you don't want leftovers. I also would recommend asking to be seated away from the event room, we were seated next to the door of the event room and they were celebrating a birthday, it was very noisy! If you are wanting a romantic and quiet dinner be sure to not sit there. Overall it was an excellent dining experience and our Waiter Jamie gave us excellent service.

I'd never heard of Perry's before this visit; now I cannot wait to go back

By Michaelcctx |

I loved Perry's! The decor was beautiful; menu full of many great choices; food was good and the service was A+ (Parish was our waiter). The tableside deserts were a festive treat too! As I said in my title, I'd never heard of Perry's before this visit and now I cannot wait to return. It is a shame that there are no locations where I live.

Nice, good service, good food

By yaki a |

The place is nice, but a bit dark. Some more light can help The service is excellent and very responsive The food was great, I had the fillet perry and it was awesome But most dishes are without a side dish and expensive to begin with so if you like main course and a side dish the cost doesn't make sense

Fantastic

By yaki a |

Visiting with friends on the basketball night before the game Service was awesome Steak (fillet mignon) was better than awesome Side dishes- all great Will definitely visit again But... yes it is expensive....

Excellent service and food

By Elizabeth V |

Had a business Christmas dinner. The waiter was fantastic which made the experience of my first time at a Perry's Steakhouse memorable. He made sure water glasses were full, drinks replenished timely, food served promptly and all meals came out at same time. Great food. Highly recommend their house specialty, fried asparagus. Went to the Memorial City location the same week and there was no comparison in the service (Memorial City location service was terrible).

Evening with friends

By Tom D |

Perry's is not an inexpensive restaurant but the food is excellent and the service is usually very good. For some reason last night, the place where we were sat seemed unusually loud and noisy which made it hard to hear the waitress whose voice didn't project and spoke way too fast. My meal was perfect and the mushrooms, in my opinion is worth the visit alone! My wife's Ribeye was indeed as she requested but was not sufficiently charred as she also discussed with the waitress. Disappointing at these prices, but it may be easier to achieve this with a thicker filet... All in all, we will certainly continue to go to Perry's as often as possible because the food is consistent and typically excellently prepared. The service is also very good. Ask for Jamie for your waitress, we regret we didn't do so last night. She has waited on our tables many times in the past and she is a professional!

Mother’s Day luncheon

By Lakeisha Sellers |

Everything was wonderful (minus my friend showing the server something she saw on Facebook about appetizers and pricing)

Nice restaurant, but overpriced

By Carol S |

I took my niece and nephew for dinner to celebrate an anniversary. The ambiance was elegant. The wait staff were dressed appropriately for the type of restaurant. The entrees were overly expensive, although tasty. The young lady who serviced us was not an experienced individual. Had to be reminded to bring things we had asked for. Dessert was Bananas Foster. The presentation was excellent and from what my guests said, extremely good.

Super Pork Chop lunch special

By hanklucas |

Went for first time on Friday, 1/8/16. Porch chop lunch special on Friday's only is truly outstanding. Quality restaurant and special for $13.95 - hard to beat. Don't miss this one

Delicious

By Waunderlust |

Delicious food, my sister loved the Italian wines she sipped on. The food really was excellent. The best thing was the service. Our server Jamie was the best. She was friendly, fun, and super knowledgeable. Stellar service!!!

The pork chops are amazing!

By tima1212 |

Dinner at our table of 4 included two 32 oz pork chops (to die for!) and two 8 oz filet mignons. Also ordered grilled asparagus and au gratin potatoes to share. Ended the evening with 3 desserts; chocolate bread pudding, a very rich chocolate, peanut butter concoction, and ice cream covered with a flambe sauce prepared tableside. Highly recommend!

Very disappointed

By MJ T |

Actually I ordered 3 items for delivery as a family wedding gift to be delivered to San Diego Ca. I was never informed of a shipping delay caused by winter weather. The only reason I knew of the “ two day” shipping delay is because my sister informed me when the order never arrived after 4 days! I was informed of shipping delays only because I inquired not because Perry’s Steakhouse notified me! No in kind offer has been made for for a disappoint of both parties, customer service is 0/10 for sire

Flew in by Helicopter for an Unforgettable Steakhouse Experience!

By Mac Brazel |

We literally flew in by helicopter for dinner at Perry’s Steakhouse, which is an incredibly unique experience for a restaurant in this area! While you probably can’t land right at the restaurant, it was well worth the trip for an exceptional meal. The New York Strip was grilled to perfection—medium well with a beautiful char on the outside while still juicy and flavorful inside. We also had the Corn Brûlée, which was fire-grilled and seasoned with just enough spice to perfectly balance the creamy sweetness—an absolute must-try! For seafood, we ordered the lobster tail and oysters on the half shell, and both were outstanding. The oysters were fresh with a perfect briny bite, and the lobster was tender, buttery, and cooked just right. Beyond the fantastic food, the service was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and fun. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and the manager even stopped by to check in and ensure everything was perfect (which, of course, it was!). If you’re looking for a next-level dining experience, Perry’s delivers in every way. Whether you’re driving—or flying—here, it’s absolutely worth the trip. Highly recommend!

Good food high prices

By davesmall |

Love the food hate their prices especially wine prices. However, they do have some good deals at happy hour in the bar. The burger is outstanding. I would only go back here for happy hour

Sausage

By AUSAGUY007 |

The reason I would go here is for the sausage with crackers and 2 dipping sauces they are pretty good and the miso fish is pretty good too. It's kind of an over dressed place for the concept but they are always consistent in their food

Good as Ever

By Y1599TZthomasb |

My girlfriend and I went to a retirement presentation at Perry's. We got some valuable information on returement tax issues and both had Perry's famous Pork Chop and all the trimmimgs. This is our favorite dish at Perry's. We recommend Perry's to all of our friends. The servive and the meal were 5-Star.

Incredible Steak!

I took Clients to dine here and all were impressed by the service and quality. Excellent appetisers worth trying. Our steaks were incredibly flavorful and if your trying the pork chops save room because the portions are tremendous!

Great Remodel

By Dano1946 |

Everyone has to see the new layout. Outstanding job. Now they have the look to go along with their fantastic. As always had a great time on the happy hour menu. We had beef and blue. Woth our normal Billet Manhattan. Friends had sliders and escargot. All great. We love and will go back. Remember the price are high but worth it.

Mothers day Dinner

By Stephani E |

I chose this place based upon the reviews and friends suggestions. It turns out, they were right. Everything was excellent from the valet parking to dessert. We had an amazing waitress and she went above and beyond in serving us, even though it was a busy time with it being Mothers day and all. My mom loved everything. She had the 6oz filet mignon with asparagus and baked potato. I had a lobster bisque soup and salad. Everything again, was awesome and we will definitely be returning again.

GREAT EXPERIENCE!!!

By Ruben S |

We decided to celebrate my DAD's birthday at Perry's and had a great experience. From beginning to end our experience was amazing, as our server Mr. Keys made us feel like we had the restaurant to ourselves. Our steaks were cooked to perfection, with the best whipped potatoes and mac and cheese. Do not forget to order the Nutty Deangelo prepared table side...it is really good! The GM Dexter came by several times to check on us...he's a class act and takes great care of his guests. Thank you for a great experience and we will be back soon.

Average, perhaps the chef having an off night

By Alistair W |

Had dinner here with some colleagues. Great ambiance and fantastic service. The fillet mignon was cooked to perfection. However, the Gratin potatoes were 1/2" of potatoes and 1/2" of cheese, way too much cheese. The crab mac and cheese, usually one of my favourites, was served with just liquid cheese and the crab didn't take all that fresh so I didn't eat it. Still, it was an enjoyable evening but perhaps the chef was having an off night.

Unhappy that I asked to box up my food and waiter wouldn’t let me so things left out

By AttyVette |

Food was good BUT I told our waiter I wanted to bring the fixings for our mashed potatoes home. He assured me (twice) that he would box it all up for me and he didn’t ! Discovered this after we got home! Spent almost $400 for our meal so not happy when I asked to box all my food up to bring home and he wouldn’t let me and what I requested didn’t make it home!

Wonderful meal and service

By MohawkCustoms |

Went on Good Friday for lunch with friends. Our meals were excellent and more than we could eat. The pork chops were juicy and delicious, crab cakes and scallops were amazing. Our waiter Joseph Lantz was so knowledgeable about the menu and took care of all our needs. Will definitely return and always ask for Joseph. Thank you!

Live Music, amazing ambience and fantastic Food. Great Service friendly Staff. If you Love Surf and Turf its the Place to go if you are in the North of Houston in the Vintage Park Area and enjoy Fine dining in texas. The Tuna in Sesami crust with Chillie lime and Sushi Rice Are a Must Besides the Beef carpaccio and of course the Steaks. If you like oysters they Are Highly recommanable. Didnt make it to the Desserts. Nice wines. I will Return.

High prices, Very average steaks

By JanieCHS |

I took my parents (who are in their 80s) there for a celebration. We ordered drinks, wine, an appetizer, various entrees and sides. Since it is a pricey steak house, I expected the steaks to be delicious and high quality. They were just okay, no better than choice cuts from my local grocery store. I was disappointed because I was expecting "great". My adult children confided the same thoughts to me about their steaks. On the plus side, my parents loved it! They had a great time and the service from our waitress was very good. The stuffed mushroom appetizer and sides were tasty too.

Christmas party with family

By Dennis A |

We have started a tradition of attending the Champion Forest Christmas Spectacular and them having dinner at Perry's The restaurant is very nice and the food is usually excellent. Sorry to say this time it was a real miss. The others in my part ordered steaks but I decided to have the "famous pork chop" In the past this has always been a wonderful dish. This time it was so over cooked that it was dry and tough and tasteless. Very very disappointing!

Shared dinner in the Bar. Great atmosphere, friendly service, delicious food and cocktails. Ran into old friends.

Great Place To Dine and Excellent Food and Service

By Robexar |

Very good ambiance to dine and have a great meal. Our dinner was made to order (meat tender and moist along with very well cooked and tasty side orders). And, the server was really super (cordial and attentive). Seating was immediate (of course we made reservations about 2 hours prior to arriving).

Mother's Day

Mothers day. The food and service was good. First time being back since hurricane Harvey. Not a big fan of the floor plan. The ambience is not the same. Music was way too loud.

Did valentines early

By angela b |

Two couples and normally only go for special occasions. This time was not the best. Paper was in my straw, my steak was undercooked. To make it more unpleasant. When my steak was returned I was asked to try it. While cutting it my server reached over top of me grabbed my utensils and placed new on the table. Not for nothing but without any form of dress code it really leaves a lot to be desired. We were sitting next to a table they were wearing t-shirts and jeans and baseball caps. Not returning for sometime.

Wonderful service and great steaks

By BAHuston3 |

We had a great dinner at Perry’s. This is a beautiful venue. Natasha was our server and she was fantastic!!! Friendly smile and did a great job pacing out our dinner with some very good menu recommendations. She is one of the few servers who had great timing on bringing out our bill and being there in a timely manner to process the payment. She is one in 1 million. The turtle gumbo soup and blackened shrimp appetizers were delicious. I had the fillet mignon and my friend had the strip steak done medium rare. Both steaks came out perfectly and were delicious. The wine list here is extensive by the bottle and by the glass. I highly recommend this Perry’s location. Make sure you ask for Natasha. Enjoy!!!

Above The top

We have eaten at several different Perry's and all have been good but this one is tops. Much of same menu in all location but our food was cooked to perfection and our waiter Nichols was tops. He never missed a beat.....there when needed but not too much. Our daughter and myself had the Symphony Kabob. Wonderful. You get seafood and filet in one choice. It was delicious. My husband had the southwest filt and he said it was wonderful. Got dessert we had banana foster and Mont Blanca Frisch. Both were great but the Mont Blanc was too sweet for me. Our daughter and my husband both loved both. I'm not a big sweet person. Expensive but worth it. Just great food and ,service

Perfect Lunch Special - Famous Porkchop $13.95

By zeke h |

Perry's porkchops are amazing!!! The fact that you can get their lunch special for $13.95 is a find in itself, I think it's regularly about $25. The meat melt in your mouth good and it's served with apple sauce and mash potatoes. They run the special Monday thru Friday from 11-4pm I believe. We just had my birthday dinner here and it was a real treat. The service is spot on and everyone is super friendly and attentive. If you have been wanting to try Perry's, their lunch special is the way to go. Enjoy!

Perfect Date Night

Perry's Steakhouse is an upscale restaurant in Houston. They have steaks, cooked to order, which are delicious. If going for the first time, I would HIGHLY recommend ordering the "Five Finger Pork Chop." The pork chop is my favorite entree at this place. Side dishes are served family style, which is a plus because it makes the overall experience more cozy. The waitstaff is fantastic and the atmosphere is modern and sophisticated.

The Best Pork Chop ever

It has been a while since we have been to Perry's but I reccomend the Friday lunch to all and the Special Pork Chop lunch. It is to die for, tender, juicy and large. It is also a great place to dine for special occasions.

Excelent option for an excelen ocasion

Great food, good wines, good service. Need to go with time, to enjoy. Ant it is better with reservation.

Amazing food and service!!

By travilgurl |

We had reservations for Valentines Day and it was PACKED!!! our server, Brandon, was EXCELLENT!!!! He greeted us with water, and apologized for the wait - wasn't even his fault! (People lagged at their tables after dessert and they were over booked.) It was a set menu with a lot of options. Brandon is extremely knowledgeable about the food, the wine and cocktails. I did hear him at a table next to us take his time regarding a food allergy someone had. Despite the huge crowds he never made us feel rushed. The food was just as excellent as Brandon! Huge portions, cooked to perfection. The cocktails were perfect! I noticed managers overseeing the dinning room and pitching in to help the busers, and wait staff....it was a team effort. We can't wait to go back and we will be requesting Brandon again!

Buffalo

By Ed W |

I wanted meat and Perry’s delivered. An excellent buffalo steak was one of the specials on the night I went. First time I’ve had this meat and I wasn’t disappointed. I had it rare and it was cooked perfectly, just enough blood, nicely seared on the outside and with a delicious garlic sauce. As a side, I went for the brussel sprouts, pan fried in sweet siracha. I wanted to try something new and I hate brussel sprouts, but these were amazing. Seriously, you have to try these, they will change your opinion of sprouts. Perry’s isnt the cheapest option for steaks, but its worth the little extra.

IF YOU WANT GREAT FOOD AND SERVICE THIS IS THE PLACE

By TXVicky |

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at Perry's Monday night and were not disappointed! We had reservations and he had told them it was our anniversary. When we arrived the hostess and seater wished us a happy anniversary. They had put red rose petals on our table as well. We ordered wine and shared their specialty salad of greens, pears, cheese and candied pecans. The portions were large and the salad delicious. My husband chose the pork chop they are famous for, I ordered the 6 oz. filet and we shared a baked potato. The meats were perfectly cooked and the potato was large and dressed well. After we finished our meal they brought out a 3 piece dessert plate with a candle to celebrate at no cost to us. The desserts were outstanding. Our waitress Lisa was exceptional and attentive. I highly recommend this romantic restaurant for any occasion.

What a great idea

By Viva56003 |

Almost talked myself out of going but am I ever glad I didn't. Just sat at the bar ordered the pork chop and a cocktail. got the pork chop in a matter of minutes though it seem like seconds. It was fabulous! It looked so big I thought it was the dinner portion. I was assured that it was only the lunch portion which is half the size of the dinner portion and I still got a doggy bag. Thinking maybe I should make this in every Friday ritual.

Nice location Way overpriced

By Andres A |

I went to this place with my wife to celebrate Valentine's, despite the fact that I had a reservation we had to sit near the bar area, because it was overcrowded. The place is really nice inside, they did a great job creating a modern and bold place but unfortunately the food did not meet my expectations and I found the steaks not as prime quality as I expected, specially after paying a very hefty price for it. Salads are great and if you want meet go with the lamb chops those are great.

Inconsistent wait staff, food below par

By TravelNazi126 |

I took a client last week for lunch, multiple waitress came to the table, I had to tell each that I had questions due to food allergies. We had three different people come to the table and none could answer questions as it related to seasonings used, as one waitress would disappear to inquire of chef, another would reappear. I eventually gave up and ordered a shrimp cocktail and a spinach salad - the salad came out with eggs on it - after I had explained to all 3 waitresses I couldn't have eggs. When I received my salad, it was a bowl of spinach... dry....when I asked why it was dry the waitress said, " Well we were unsure as to the dressing." Additionally my shrimp cocktail, was definitely a few days old and tasted possibly frozen and thawed but not stored at the correct temperature? I ate a couple and abandoned it for fear of getting sick later. This experience was not typical as to what I usually receive from Perry's. Obviously all new staff at this location. Luckily my client's food was good and they were content. After dropping off my client I picked up food elsewhere. There are a lot of options in Houston, and I refuse to suffer through poor service and low quality seafood. I may give another location another chance, but not this one.

A great place to celebrate very special occasions

By David B |

We decided on Perry’s to celebrate our 50th anniversary and we were rewarded with a great experience. The staff was great, from the greeting coming in to all the “Welcomes” on the way to our table to our servers for the meal. They adorned our table with rose petals to signify our “special occasion”, so all the servers and even one customer acknowledged our event. All the staff were appropriately attired with masks and gloves for safety. The food was really good as well. My wife had the Field Green, pear and candied pecan salad while I had the lobster bisque for our salad portion. Her entree was the Symphony Kabob (steak, shrimp, and lobster) and I had the bone-in NY Strip. We chose the char-grilled veggies as our side. Even though we knew we wouldn’t be able to finish it we had to try the Rocky Road Bread Pudding, which was really good even though we took 80% of it home. The only thing I might have changed was our location within the restaurant. They placed us in a room with a view of the back parking lot, which did not have the intimate feel of the areas in other parts of the restaurant. That, however, did not detract from a very enjoyable evening.

Pure Awesomeness

Signature dishes a must, grilled Pork Chops. Grilled vegetables and dessert are out of this world. Service was out standing. A Must to put on your Bucket List.

Fantastic fine dining

By IainR |

Came here for dinner with a friend. The front desk staff were very friendly as soon as we walked in the door. We were seated at a nice table for 2. It was a Monday night so the restaurant was not too busy. Our waiting staff were attentive but not overbearing. I ended up going for the signature pork chop dish - I would not normally order pork chop at a great steak restaurant but it wasn’t a disappointment! The pork chop basically gets cut into 3 different portions. My partner had a prime rib steak was that very good also. The waiter gets you to cut the steak open to confirm it is cooked correctly, which it was. For dessert we had the flambé bananas which are cooked at your table - these were delicious also. We had some reasonably expensive wine which we enjoyed. This is not a cheap restaurant by any means, but we had nothing to com-lain about and found everything to be more or less perfect so I would recommend coming here.

Great Place For Events

By askittl |

We were here for a friend's retirement party on Friday and I was blown away by the service. The food was fantastic as always but the service was just impeccable from the time you approached the private room to the very end. I've been so so many retirement parties lately at so many different fine dining restaurants in the Houston area and nothing compares to Perry's when it come to food and service. Our server Bailey was just outstanding, she made the evening just wonderful and she was very attentive. I don't think my wine glass was ever empty. When I asked her where the restrooms were, instead of pointing it to me, she actually showed me there. You just can't get good service like this anywhere any longer and Perry's just stands out for this. A great place to eat and an even better location to have your special events. Thank you Perry's Champions location, you guys are awesome. It was a room full of guests but somehow they still managed to get our steaks exactly right. Medium with a nice pink and not overdone or underdone. And perfectly tender and delicious.

Birthday gone bad

By JMD_930 |

We scheduled a “birthday dinner” with friends invited, but it didn’t turn out very well. We were not served bread as is customary in Perry’s as the waiter (male) seemed to forget. Two ladies ordered steaks of different varieties, but both steaks came out over cooked (cooks seem to have a difficult time with “medium rare”). Both steaks returned and replaced eventually. Mushrooms were ordered by our friends, but didn’t come until the 2nd set of steaks were almost finished (poor timing). Oh yes, the birthday event, clearly identified in the reservation, was also overlooked. All I wanted was a small cupcake, cup of ice cream, but nothing brought for the birthday. Finally the steak my wife ordered, an expensive filet, didn’t have that much flavor. Overall a very expensive evening with poor performance by the kitchen and wait staff. Only good thing was they seemed to recognize their mistakes and “comp’d” the 2 steaks. Probably will not return any time soon.

Great as usual!

By Tom W |

My wife and I usually eat in the bar area so we can watch the football games and/or listen to the piano music while eating and usually see friends also, which we did this time. We split the pork chop (as good as it can get), the wedge salad and an order of the fried asparagus topped with crab meat (out of this world) along with a couple of great drinks. The pork chop is so large we always take some home. The entire meal and experience was wonderful. We need to go again.

Delightful staff and atmosphere

By davidh864 |

I was with a group of 6 that was supposed to be 8 and we had a cancellation. Not wanting to take a larger table, we asked for a smaller on and got seated in the wine room. This table is superb for wine enthusiasts and our group tried many of their fine selections. I had an out standing Chataubriand and the deserts were amazing! We will definitely come back. Last note, if you are a wine drinker, ask for Omar, he is extremely helpful and a wealth of wine knowledge. Kudos to Perry's for a job well done.

Disappointing Meal

By Paul J |

This is the first time that Perry’s has bombed a meal like we had last night. Service was great but the main course was subpar. Salads and soup were great. We had two pork chop entries at our table and both were tough. We noticed that the waiter was having issues separating the ribs from the chop and asked him if it was tough. He said he had a dull knife. It was tough. We had two salmon dishes at our table also and both were overcooked. We had to send all vegetables back to the kitchen because they were cold. Not a great night for this restaurant.

Classy

By PenguinScott |

My grandmother wanted to celebrate her birthday with family here. I thought it was going to be overpriced, and while it was one of the more pricey meals I've had, it was quality and a wonderful night. I was the first in the party to arrive. I was welcomed to have a seat at the table or wait. It was nice out, so I went outside to wait. There is valet parking, but I'd parked on the side in shade. I didn't notice if it was complimentary or not. When we were seated, it was very dark inside and took several minutes for my eyes to adjust. The music was very loud, playing light jazz, and I could see that our server saw that I was having a difficult time hearing him. Not sure if this is the reason the music softened a few minutes later. Since this was a special family occasion, we asked that the server leave us with drinks for a while, and he did a fantastic job of that, not stopping by every five minutes to ask if we were ready. He would simply walk by and observe, and when we were ready, we signaled to him. Drinks came quickly. Refills were offered promptly. We shared a few appetizers. The fried calamari was divine. It was fried with pepper rings, no dipping sauce was needed. Best freaking crab cakes outside of Maryland! Most of the family ordered steak, and they all said it was cooked as ordered. My aunt had the fish that came with a few sides and looked fantastic. I tried the pork. It was a huge portion and I took some home. There were 3 cuts, which were prepared table side and explained to me as he cut them. It was very good, but when I ever return to Perry's, I'd not order it again. For sides, the family again shared. We had creamed spinach, which was creamy and tasty. The corn was so much better than I expected. It was roasted and crunchy and had a wonderful flavor. I don't often enjoy corn, but I'd order this again. No fanfare or dessert was offered to my grandmother, even though they knew it was her special day. We ordered desserts to share and thought the three dessert plate would be good. I was appalled at the small size of the three desserts. For one person, it was perfect, for 2 it would have been just a little sweet bite after a meal. But there were 5 of us and we should have been advised of the small size (photo included) and a suggestion that we order 2 might have been nice. The desserts were good, however. They are open for lunch on Friday's and I hear they have a great happy hour with half price apps. I don't drink at bars, but it might be nice to go for dinner at the bar one night. Great place for an expense account to entertain clients or for a special occasion. With drinks, the apps and sides, it came to almost $100 a person. It was great night and one that won't be soon forgotten. Quality food, very nice staff, friendly on the eyes. It was a bit dark and I hope they keep the music volume down.

A 5 star restaurant with a new issue

By Ed S |

My family are regulars and we love the food and service however their new reservation process requires a third party company hold a dinner reservation with a credit card or the reservation gets cancelled. Even though we made or reservation by phone their policy can still cancel without a card. I understand they take the card for non show customers and charge $10 for a non show reservation. We will not expose our credit card to these unnecessary web sites. They should waive this for customers they know are in their system are regulars. If the requirement stands and our reservation gets cancelled we will seek another restaurant for future celebrations.

Always delicious.

By Danny S |

Love going to Perry's. Their steaks are wonderful, but their pork chop is also very delicious and is big enough to feed both my husband and myself, plus take some home. The presentation is also impressive. Sometimes we like to go in for happy hour in the bar with discount drinks and appetizers. We go home full and happy. The dessert menu is great. My favorite is Nutty D'angelo, and next favorite is Bananas Foster, flambéed at your table. You can't go wrong with either.

Wonderful Valentine's Dinner. Server Not So Much

By rhodeb |

We opted for the Valentine's dinner ($59.95 prix fixe) as we have on several previous years. The food was superior - I love the seven-finger pork chop (can't call it the Perry's Famous Pork Chop). My wife had the 8 oz filet. Both entrees came with mixed vegetables and mashed potatoes. My wife had the lobster bisque (which actually contained some lobster bits) and I had the French onion soup. Desserts were the cheesecake and the dessert trio. Both very good, as usual. Our server, Jacob, just didn't have it, tonight. Don't think waiting tables is his thing. Seemed to be off in LaLaLand the majority of the night. We had to order coffee on three separate occasions, before he finally brought us some and then said "Oh, the coffee's on me" - really? For sure, it wasn't going to be included on our tab. Suffice to say, the coffee (which was REALLY good) showed up long after we had finished our desserts. I'm torn oh how to rate this visit. The food is definitely a "5". The service, not so much, but I'm still going to rate it a "5" because not everybody will get Jacob, but you'll always get the good food.

A great dining experience

By FHH_12 |

Perry's is an excellent chop house with beautiful décor and a great wait staff. They are know for their triple cut pork chop, but their steaks terrific as well. They have a large bar/lounge area with piano entertainment. Go to their Happy Hour. Very good prices on wines and selected drinks. The appetizers are excellent. Try the calamari. It's a different take, but delicious.

Another wonderful visit to the best restaurant around. We shared a 10 oz filet and a wedge. We had a side of fried asparagus with crab, which was wonderful. I had baked potato which was great. A bottle of Napa red was great. Tyler handled our service and was efficient friendly and very knowledgeable. Great visit as expected.

We went for happy hour and dinner. Happy Hour has $7 wine and mixed drinks. With $9 appetizers. They have a bullet Manhattan to die for. We shared the 4 for $44 dinner. Started with fried asparagus with crab that was the best we have ever had. We had a great wedge salad. Then the pork chop which is fabulous. We had the desert trio with creme brulee. Chocolate crunch and praline cheese cake We had a fantastic time ate in the bar with the piano player who was great.

Get the Bananas Foster!

By Brenda S |

We received a $125 gift card for Christmas and decided it was finally time to use it. First time to visit with my husband so we didn’t know what to expect. Since we didn’t have reservations, we arrived early on Saturday (like we would at our favorite steak place, Taste of Texas). There was no need as it was pretty empty at 4pm and remained that way except for the families coming in with their elderly parents. My thoughts: - Music was a bit loud, restaurant was a bit cold, and food was overly salty - especially the fried asparagus and crab. My husband had the 8 oz Filet Perry (bacon wrapped steak with crab meat on top, $51) and I had the Surf and Turf Pasta (tomato sauce with basil, small chuck of lobster in the shell, and two pieces of steak, $35). My favorite of all our dishes was the fresh baked bread (which I had to ask for) and the fried asparagus side. However, the crab and butter that the asparagus was served with was so salty I would rather have had just the fried asparagus with some type of dip (like the way PF Chang’s does their fried green beans). The crab did not add anything. And by the way, I love salt and keep a shaker at my desk at work — but this was just way too much. My husband liked his steak but wasn’t crazy about the crab either. If we return, he wouldn’t get the crab again. I didn’t love my Surf and Turf Pasta either, it was a bit sweet for my taste (and I love sweet - so again, weird) and the lobster was tough. I brought my leftovers home and my son enjoyed the steak. - For drinks, my husband had a coke ($4) and I had the Martini Trio ($15). I loved that they gave you the option to try out 3 different drinks with the trio. My favorite was the Raspberry Crusta (rim coated in sugar), second was another pink drink garnished with a strawberry (I think it was the Perry Berry Mule, this one is not quite as sweet as the Crusta). I did not like the third drink at all - which was lemony. I think it was called Lemon Bubbles. I was hoping for something like a Lemon Drop martini - which is typically one of my favorites, but instead the drink was super strong. My husband ended up drinking it. Two different staff asked me what I thought and I told them I didn’t like it, but there was no offer to remake it with something else. No worries though ... as I was the one who ordered it - so my fault. - Since it was my birthday, I was offered a complimentary dessert and chose the Bananas Foster. This is one of my favorite desserts and did not disappoint. The young lady making it tableside explained how it was made as she went through the steps, including the final step of setting it on fire. She did a great job and the dessert was delicious and fun! My husband got the Chocolate Crunch ($10) which we did not really care for. - They do have valet parking but with a large parking lot, it is not necessary. - When I walked into the women’s restroom there was a young boy (maybe 3 or 4) washing his hands with I think an employee. When I walked out, he was finishing up. Only odd because at this point he was by himself and only wearing a Tshirt and pullups. He politely pushed the chair back that he was standing on and exited the bathroom by himself. I didn’t see him in the restaurant so have no idea what was going on. A bit weird. - If we return, I think I would prefer coming during a happy hour for the bar bites and cheaper prices. I think this is M-F, 4-7pm and all day on Sunday. - Service was good but not great - I had to look around for the waiter when I was ready to order my drink ... and same when we wanted to pay. - Total was $162 including 20% tip. So glad we had a gift card as our experience was not at this level but maybe we’re biased since we’re Taste of Texas fans.

PORKCHOPLICIOUSLYLICIOUSNESS

By Ron Murry |

"VETERANS DAY PORK CHOP" For our Veterans Day Dinner we made Reservations at "Perry's Steakhouse" (Champions). The Vette-Jet was all cleaned up and Shiny like New and we were also. We have been to Perry's several times over the years and Love the Food and their Service is always Top-Notch - and it was that way last night. When we arrived we were greeted by the Hostess' and they located our name on the list and then showed us to our table in one of their small, quiet rooms - that's Perfect. Perry's has several areas like this and One Beautiful Bar area. Amy is our Server and she brought over our Waters, Wine and Food Menus. When she returned we ordered our Wine and also our meals. My Wife is having their "Surf & Turf Pasta"; Filet Mignon Tips and Lobster served over Angel Hair Pasta with Tomato Basil Sauce. I am going with "Perry's Famous Pork Chop" (Carved Tableside) that they are promoting for Veterans Day. Hand Selected in the Midwest specifically for Perry's, this Sweet, Smoky, Sizzling Chop is Cured, Roasted, Slow-Smoked and Caramelized, served with Homemade Applesauce. Another Server bought over their Fresh Warm Bread and that Soft Butter for us to enjoy - and we did just that. The Bread is Softly Deliciousness with a Crusted Slight Crunch - and our Wines arrived right after the Bread. My Wife and I toasted to each other and to all the Veterans, past and present - Thank You for your Service and Sacrifice. When the Bread was almost gone our Food arrived and my Wife's Surf & Turf is a Beautiful Presentation of Perfectlyliciousness because that's what Perry's does. Since my Pork Chop is carved tableside, it arrived with Two Pork Chop Carving People and they prepared that Pork Chop for my enjoyment. This is not only BIG but Beautifully Glazed & Glistening - and the Aroma is Heavenly - more on that later. My Wife said her Filet was prepared Perfectly, was Tender, Juicy and Very Tasty. She gave me a bite and I totally agree it was all she said it was. She also Loved the Lobster and I had a bit of that also - it was Tasty. The Pasta was a Very Generous amount and she said that also was Delicious. My Wife did not eat all of her Tastyliciousness and took some home for tomorrows Lunch. Now, my Pork Chop is about 36oz of Perfection carved into Three Sections. Each Server starts the carving process with the 'Eyelash' (Perry's name for it) the Top Portion and the Juiciest part, followed by the 'Loin', carved second. Rounding out the section is the Third and Final cut - the 'Ribs'. Each one has a different Taste of Deliciousness to them - and Each One is Perfectly Prepared. Perry's knows Pork Chops. The Flavor of each is Amazing and adding their Homemade Applesauce to any part of this adds even More Deliciousness to every bite. If you want to experience something Amazing you go to Perry's and order their Pork Chop - actually, order anything on their Menu and it will too be Amazinglyliciousness because that's what Perry's does. I at all of mine except for a small piece I decided to save for tomorrow because I want to experience One-More-Time and it just might be for a brief moment but that moment will be Porklyliciousness. Some Friends came in and sat at the table next to us - well, Socially Distanced away. We chatted for awhile and then back to our meal. It's always good to see people you know when you go out to eat. Amy did an Outstanding job with us last night and she is New to Perry's - earned the "Dollar-Bow-Tie" Award and Loved it. She checked on us at just the right times - that's how Perry's trains their Staff. You can check out Perry's on Facebook - ' Perry's Steakhouse & Grille ' --- and On-Line - and I always recommend making Reservations at Perry's. Thank You Perry's for my Veterans Day Pork Chop Meal - All your Staff are Awesome and you hit this one Out of the Ball-Park, as you always do. Amy was a Delight and made our stay at your Beautiful Restaurant extra enjoyable. Thank You - Thank You - Thank You. When we left Perry's was full of customers with several people waiting - they are Always Busy. My Baby and I cruised on home on another Beautiful Texas Evening in the Vette-Jet. Love Your Baby, Bunches & PorkChopMunches. Thank You to all the Veterans out there, present and past, for all your sacrifice's.

New Years Eve Meal

I have had great meals at a lot of places but this was one of the best. The meal and the staff was GREAT. The staff was able to help us. They know the whole menu. Smiles and friendly faces was all we saw. We live bout 300 miles away but would drive back just to eat there again.

Great atmosphere & food!

Took my Dad there with 7 family members for his 88th birthday. I picked choices for everyone to pick from which keeps the ordeal of everyone ordering to a minimum. We had a great time!

We tried but just are not fans

By Michelle |

I have tried to like Perry’s and just don’t. The service at this location was outstanding and far superior to another location we have been to. We eat at Prime steakhouses all over the country and have had better food at the same and even lower price point. About the only thing I really liked was the bacon wrapped scallops. The pork chop bites were meh as was the prime New York strip. I left disappointed. We tried but we are accustomed to better. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Very nice restaurant for lunch or dinner. I have never had anything bad, steaks are excellent, but the pork chop is the best in my opinion. Sides are served for the table. Not cheap but worth it.

Steak and Pork

By all_travel_now |

Very popular steak restaurant in the suburbs of Houston. If you try the Pork Chop - beware - Its massive. Enough for 3 easily. Your not gunna eat it by yourself. Usual array of steak selection cooked how you like it.
