We came here on a Sunday around 8:00 a.m. and it was packed but we got seated immediately. The couple who run it are very nice. They make sure everything runs smoothly. My husband and I had eggs and my son had French toast. It was all very good. The eggs were amazingly hot and delicious. The portions are large. The restaurant is located on a busy street. However on Sunday, there was no problem finding a parking space. During the week, there are parking lots around the corner. I would definitely try to make it to this restaurant while visiting Seattle.

This is a great little diner that seats only about 50 people. We went on a Sunday morning and the place was packed (my son tells me there is always a line on weekends). Very informal, you write you own name down on the wait list and wait for Pete or a member of his staff to tell you your table is ready. Heads-up, the waiting area is outside on the sidewalk. The place is intimate (crowded), but the staff is working hard and friendly. The owner, Pete, makes the effort to visit every table and every person. He is very warm and wants to make sure each person had a good experience. Despite being crowded they do a great job serving you fast, we were able to be in and out in 30-45 minutes. The food is very good breakfast food, but the portions are large. Pete doesn't seem to use the old tired processed food like Denny's or Sheri's, everything we had was real and made just for us. Due to the portion sizes, next time we plan to share a meal. We had a great experience, the tell tale sign was we founds ourselves already making plans of what we will order next time we go to Pete's.

I wondered if this little diner would slip away when they changed ownership - but they’ve stayed as nice as ever. Tiny place, quick and friendly service, nice diner fare for brunch. Always has folks waiting at typical brunch hour, which is my clue to go later. Nothing fancy but a good value.

Very delicious and friendly. Love it and recommend it. Not very expensive. Cozy setting and feels like home

Awesome place for breakfast! The portions are huge for the price (average $10-13). We had the tiger shrimp eggs Benedict, chicken fried steak (the gravy was soooo good) and the Greek sausage with eggs. Left there totally stuffed. It's a family run place- even the yiayiá (grandma) was waiting tables. Incredibly warm and friendly service. And the biggest and tastiest baklava ever! We were there Easter Sunday and the place got pretty busy. Only street parking but worth the hunt. Definitely coming back when we're in town. So jealous of the locals to have breakfast place like this.

Do yourself and go to Pete's! Not only are the portions huge and the food tasty, the hospitable owners make you feel welcome and get to know you even in a single visit. They enjoy their work and put their heart into making Pete's a restaurant to frequently return to. We have never been disappointed.

Pete's Egg Nest serves up traditional breakfasts with ample portions. It is a sweet neighborhood spot, perfect for a weekend family breakfast. The service is good and your coffee cup will never be empty.

Dropped in for a late breakfast , this family of three was pleasantly surprised !! Each of us got a plate portion size in a timely fashion . Service was superb .... everything was tasty and satisfying ! Treat yourself !

Day two of helping a friend move and i had the kind of hunger that only comes with extreme exertion. This was the closest breakfast place, I had no idea it was so highly recommended on Yelp, It was early for Seattle I guess or maybe due to the rain but I was able to sit immediately at 8 Am on a Saturday morning and the food was out almost instantly. I enjoyed the family dynamics playing out before my eyes with a background of family photos through the generations. They seem to have a goal of being to your table with a glass of water and a menu before you take your second breath, very efficient. Great service , huge portions good food, I would return happily.

Pete's is the cheapest best breakfast in Greenwood. The owners are a cheerful Greek couple that always make us feel so welcome. The food is fantastic, big portions, and fast. Our favorite brunch place in Seattle!

My daughter (who lives in Seattle) wanted to take me to breakfast here, and I found out why. When we sat down this morning (Saturday, about 8:15), there were many free tables. By the time we left, all tables were taken. I'd never before tasted butter rum french toast, and it was delicious! My daughter had eggs benedict, also delicious. The waitstaff couldn't have been friendlier or more efficient. On my next visit, this will be on my list of must-do's.

Very busy around 2 pm. All or almost all tables full. Service pretty good but it seemed like the kitchen was very slow. We kept wondering when our food would arrive. We saw another couple leave because their food took too long even though they had asked a few times when their food be coming. But once our food came, it was very good. I had Western Egg Benedict which came with corned beef with the Benedict and hash browns. 3 eggs. Two perfectly poached with a runny yolk. One was too firm. My son had a breakfast burrito which was very good too. They had quite a few juices and beer. The menu had some items corrected as to quantity and prices but not new information wrote in. Looks like some prices went. No surprise with our National Inflation King in office. Layout of the restaurant was not good. Two restrooms were in the back corner but you had to walk by the narrow area where the staff picked up orders. Not good for customers nor staff.

Reviewed last year and it was just as good this year. Three of us had breakfast and between us had scrambled eggs with bacon and cheese, a meat and veggie frittata, and an omelet all with hash-brown potatoes and choice of toast (Texas toast is best). Juices fresh and coffee abundant. The portions are large - leftovers take-home worthy. They even have wonderful freezer jam on the table, reminiscent of days gone by.

We were staying at a nearby BnB for a visit with our son and family. We were wondering around looking for a place to eat breakfast and came upon Petes. What a place! Welcoming for sure. And the breakfast choices are outstanding including heavenly hash browns. Don't miss this place!

Was coming home from seatac and wanted breakfast. Google best breakfast in Seattle, this was third on the list. Family run diner, staff flying around but always nice and attentive. I'm probably going to dream of the hash browns. Had the Greek eggs benedict special, it was so good. Big portion, could split for a couple smaller eaters. Parking is street, so plan on making a couple turns, if you see a spot around wing dome, grab it quickly.

This is a real breakfast and lunch diner. Uneffected by the upscale, trendy coffee houses or other places trying to make some kind of statement. Pete's is just serving an honest to goodness, hearty meal and plenty of it. Three eggs is the standard here. Then add heaping helpings of fresh hash browns and well buttered slices of toast. Massive platters of biscuits and gravy or chicken fried steak or omelets made with their signature Greek sausage are being brought passed your nose as you contemplate your own order. A warm and friendly wait staff quickly and efficiently take your order, if you can make up your mind, and keep your coffee cup filled. Highly recommend Pete's when in this neighborhood of Seattle.

This place got great reviews, so we decided to check it out. I ordered the eggs Benedict, my boyfriend ordered the biscuits and gravy. The Benedict was pretty good, my only issue is the eggs were not cooked properly. I had 3 hard boiled eggs. Not one was cooked right. When The waitress asked me how my meal was, I showed her the hard boiled eggs. Her response to me was... it’s been really busy today. She did offer to re-make the eggs, but I just don’t think there should be any excuse. I’m paying $14.00 for a meal, I expect it to be cooked the right way. The staff was friendly, attentive. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

We ate here twice on this trip--it was close to where we were staying and we enjoyed it last time we visited. I only gave it four stars this time, mostly because of the underlying nasty rancid oil taste of the hash browns. I had noticed it on the previous visit, but the eggs were so good I forgot about it. This time, both days we went, the hash browns tasted off. I tried the Greek Loukaniko sausage eggs this time and was a bit disappointed. The sausage flavor was good, but would be much better in a scramble since it was a bit dry. The amount of feta was scant, and while they told me that they'd have to charge me a minimal fee for extra, it was worth it because it really needed that additional flavor. My husband ordered a Greek omelet, which he was very satisfied with. The next day I tried the Greek scramble and found it quite tasty with the chopped gyro meat and veggies. Our server the first day was very friendly and attentive. The second visit we had a different server who took care of us but wasn't quite as friendly.

You don't go here for atmosphere but quick friendly staff and good breakfast/brunch. If you crave eggs, omelettes and waffles...go here! Go early on weekends as there is always a wait.

It's a good neighborhood joint. Portions were huge, and the service was falling behind the small number of tables. It was good food, but I can think of 3 better breakfast spots in Seattle. Probably won't return.

What a pleasant surprise! This was my first visit ever to Pete's Egg Nest - we selected this restaurant for breakfast because it was near to a business retreat location. Both food & service were exceptionally good. I enjoyed a croissant breakfast sandwich and my companion enjoyed an omelette. Wonderful coffee and fresh fruit. Thank you for making our breakfast such a lovely start to a busy day! I will be back!

Found this place while wandering. Had gyro and side salad. Gyro was good but I have had better yogurt sauce. Not enough punch and flavor. Side salad was typical iceberg mix with bought dressing. Again good just not above average. Service was warm and very attentive. Atmosphere was dated but charming with family photos and customer photos from over the past years. Dusty fake plants and faded art work detracted from overall Feel but lots of families gave it great energy. I'll go back for breakfast as the prices are very fair and I feel maybe breakfast is their stronger preparation.

It was appropriate that my wife and I met friends we have known for 30 years at Pete's Egg Nest. It has the appearance of a warm and well worn place to meet good friends. The food was tasty and the portions huge. (My wife worked on her breakfast burrito for a couple of days). You won't go wrong at Pete's Egg Nest.

Came to Pete's for breakfast after reading the reviews here. Though slightly out of the way from the city center, it wasn't too far off, or difficult to find. We managed to get parking right across the road and it wasn't crowded (weekday morning). The portions are VERY large and we shared the corned beef hash and eggs which came with hash browns and toast (very tasty toast!) and added a side of bacon. Everything was really good and tasty and portions enough for both of us. Pricing was reasonable for the portion. Our coffee was topped up all the time and a nice touch was iced water at our table as soon as we sat down. Run with lots of heart by a family and it still retains its small cafe charm. Worth it!

My husband, 10 year old daughter, and I visited Pete's Egg Nest for brunch while on vacation in Seattle. When we walked in, the place was tiny, cramped, and full of patrons. The waitress on duty quickly acknowledged us and scrambled to clean off a table for us. Once seated we ordered our meals. I got the pancakes, scrambled eggs, and bacon. My husband got the breakfast burrito with hash browns, and my daughter got the grilled cheese sandwich with fries. The food was great and plentiful and the waitresses were super friendly. I'm not sure I'd return only because they've outgrown their location and I like a little more space in a restaurant. But I would recommend anyone staying in Phinney Ridge try it out- maybe before you go to Woodland Park Zoo (as it's pretty close by).

Great service from the ladies and great food also. We went from downtown Seattle to have breakfast at Pete's and didn't disappoint

A neighborhood gem in NW Seattle, Pete's Egg Nest is just right for breakfast or lunch. Food was good (big farm-sized omelets and scrambles), waitstaff was lively and attentive, and we even got a hug from Grandma on our way out (we could speak a little Greek to them, including "Merry Christmas" in Greek.

This place is great, busy and worth the short wait. Menu is wonderful, food is tasty and nice large servings. Friendly staff. Highly recommend having breakfast here, totally enjoyed our meal!

This is a great place to spend a Sunday morning. The servings are as inviting as the atmosphere. It's a friendly place with great food. It's like home cooking in the best way.

Great food, huge portions, warm intimate little restaurant, lovely older married couple busting their butt's together!

Great food and service

We stopped by here for brunch on a Wednesday after a visit to the nearby crematorium on the day my father-in-law was being cremated. While the restaurant was busy, it didn't feel chaotic. The couple who own the place are very sweet and efficient. pete's menu boasts dishes not found elsewhere such as a New York scramble with corned beef and sauerkraut and veggies overtop of hash browns (yummy) and Mediterranean inspired dishes with gyro meat. We were delighted to have found this place with its filling food and fun atmosphere on such a somber day.

Every table was full in this small restaurant on a Sunday morning. Portions were large. The hashbrowns are a must have! The pancakes looked fluffy and delicious too!

Very good breakfast joint. Greek run with highly attentive management. Super generous portions of food. I ordered the California egg white scramble. It had huge pieces of avocado in it. My son ordered the Italian sausage omelette. The sausage had that good fennel taste. We will be back

From the moment you step in it’s clear that this is a family owned and run business. The menus reasonably large with classic diner options. We got three different versions of the scramble or omelettes and none of us could finish our servings. They are huge! And tasty! We also got the cinnamon roll in an exercise of poor judgment because we were already stuffed. It was very good also. The owners are super friendly and endearing. This was a pleasant surprise for us to find the restaurant and we will definitely go again if we are in the area

I've reviewed this Restaurant before (great breakfasts!). but this time, when visiting my daughters in May, who live in Seattle, I was asked HOW I wanted my bacon - soft or crispy. I have NEVER been asked that before - never given a choice. It just comes out how they cook it. A small detail, but I was impressed. The food is very good, and the service is warm and friendly. Stop in if you're in the neighborhood.

The food was excellent but the service was a little cold. It was busy but the gentleman seemed like he was too busy to pay attention. He did pay great attention to the locals. I would go back and give it a second chance because the food was very good and that's why I am giving it a 4. The bacon was huge and crispy. Eggs were done perfectly to order, over medium and over hard. Overall great but wish the service was a little bit better.

best breakfast.

Voula! What a firecracker and Papou Pete loves to joke and visit with everyone. This cozy little nest of neighbors is best earlier in the morning before it gets too busy, especially if you're not a neighbor and want to park close. My hubby loves the Hobo Omelette and I find the New York Scramble to be quite unique and tasty. You'll always have leftovers! The plates are generously piled with savory breakfast choices! The waffle looks inviting, but I've never tried it and the breakfast burrito is enticing, but I just keep sticking to my favorite. Did I tell you they're fast? They get the food out quick, so there's not a long wait with the kiddos! Oh, and the freezer jam! Get the toast so you can enjoy the freezer jam! They have a good basic brewed coffee, but there's no problemo with bringing in your own cup of Herkimer Coffee from just up the street. Thank you so much Voula & Pete! You give us a great place to wake up and enjoy the morning :) We love your place!

Great family atmosphere, extremely sweet couple that owns it. Chicken sausage benedict was delightful!

We came to Pete's on the recommendation of the friend we were staying with for a few days. I was delighted to find chilaquiles on the menu, which I never see in Colorado, but the Greek sausage and eggs was intriguing, Our server said the chilaquiles was her favorite so I went with that. My husband got the Migas (chorizo and eggs). The food was absolutely delicious, so we may go back and try the Greek Loukaniko sausage eggs!

I had been to Pete's a few years ago while visiting my daughter, so while on an extended solo walk during another visit when I came across it I decided to eat there again. It was early on a Saturday afternoon, but no waiting this time. (On the previous visit it was a rainy day and everyone in the city seemed to be packing into restaurants.) I'm a sucker for anything huckleberry when I'm in the PNW, so I opted for once of the specials of the day - Huckleberry French Toast. Five thick triangles of beautifully cooked, purple-tinged French Toast, three eggs and two crisp-cooked slices of bacon filled the huge plate. The French Toast had a definite huckleberry flavor, but not a single berry in sight. I know they're not in season at the moment, but still .. just a teaspoon of them would've made me happier. Was thrilled, however, that they asked how I wanted my bacon cooked -- crispy please! -- and it was perfect. Eggs cooked perfectly too, and good coffee. So overall a good, hearty brunch -- and two pieces of that French Toast went in a to-go box for another day.

love the breakfasts, just tried for lunch, all great, large portions, and the added benifit of a frequent diners card

I went for a breakfast here and one of the specials was the Eggs Benedict with chorizo. It was very good except for the avocado served with it which was starting to go bad so I just moved that aside and had the rest which was fresh and tasted great. Portion maybe was too big. I didn't finish it all, but did the best I could. Good place, so give it a try.

I'm traveling from South Carolina where southern hospitality is everywhere. Pete's Egg Nest could teach us southerners a thing or two. The minute I walked through the door I was greeted with a big smile and seated immediately. Voula who was the hostess/waitress was so kind & gracious I felt like I was having breakfast at grandma's. The chorizo eggs benedict with avocado was wonderful & kept me full most of the day. If you're in Phinney Ridge & want a fabulous breakfast, y'all have to come here.

Stopped here for breakfast on a Sunday and made it in before the rush. We all had various egg and hash brown dishes. A couple of us had enough left overs for two more meals. Great prices, great service and great food.

It was funny to contemplate baklava for breakfast, but as the owners are Greek, why not? The portions are huge and tasty. Service is excellent. Great neighborhood. We'll go back for sure.

We came up to Seattle for the weekend & when we missed the free continental breakfast at the hotel, got online to find somewhere to grab some breakfast. Pete's was close to the hotel and had good reviews so we decided to go. Great food, good prices. The place is a tiny hole in the wall with a handful of tables, and packed. Even still, we didn't have to wait for long. Food was tasty and hot...and so much I couldn't finish my breakfast. We'll come back the next time we're in town!

Great food, good service. I had the Swedish pancakes with eggs and bacon and could hardly walk I was so full - last all day! The bonus was the sweetened cream cheese for the pancakes. My husband raved about his Greek sausage with feta. Service was a bit slow - we came just before the Sunday morning rush at 9 - but very personable and friendly!

Arrived for breakfast and saw that it was busy and 'cozy' inside. We only had to wait for about ten minutes and we were glad we did. Breakfast, in very generous portions, was excellent and homemade! The staff was very friendly and fast and the atmosphere was spot on for this 'diner'. Highly recommend if you like authentic breakfast and lunch spots.

I really enjoyed it. Nothing fancy, just a friendly place that locals pack in with good food. I will probably be back next time I visit that area.

We were staying at a B&B place on 78th Street and Greenwood and so Pete's Eggnest was a perfect place to walk up to for breakfast. The 3-egg scrambled eggs with veggies and the perfect golden brown hashbrowns kept us going until it was time for dinner. The service was fantastic. We were very satisfied with the price and the portion size of the breakfast that they served. Definitely recommend this restaurant to other visitors staying in that neighborhood. Also the bus stop to go to downtown Seattle is right outside the restaurant.

Pete's Eggnest is a neighborhood institution that inspires passionate loyalty in many customers. The food is well-crafted and high quality, with seven or eight varieties of eggs benedict, omelets, scrambles, pancakes and bowls [egg-free dishes]. Mexican and Greek influences are clearly present; the style is updated but not trendy. Special requests are easily honored and the staff offers frequent coffee and water refills.

My friends and I decided to venture north of the city to avoid the horrendous parking in downtown. Pete's Egg Nest is a very homey family owned establishment. There were so many choices on the menu. Definitely something for everyone. I was shocked how fast we got our food because it was packed. Parking was easy to find. I highly recommend because it was fantastic food!

The place was GREAT! The food was amazing and the people very friendly and welcoming. We felt at home because you can tell the food is cooked with a lot of love. Thanks!

We enjoyed a Belgian waffle with strawberries and ice cream. A real treat for breakfast. Eggs and meat dishes were also good.

Pete serves some really tasty eggs and has a specteggular range of omettes and scrambled eggs :). You can get some pancakes as well, but nothing like fruit or yoghurt. The service was warm and welcoming.

A wonderful full menu breakfast place ran by a lovely family. It can be a little loud and there will be a line on the weekends but worth the wait. Try to go on a weekday if possible and bring a big appetite!

Each of us tried something different - French Toast, Short Stack, and the special Eggs Benedict. They had a special twist - with three eggs, a nice sauce, spinach, tomatoes, and avocado. Must have it if you go.

Excellent meal, Went on a Sunday morn. By the time we finished our meal there was a line outside the door waiting for tables. Great menu. I had eggs benedict and the girls had hazelnut french toast with eggs and bacon. Would definitely go back if in the area.

If you are looking for that quaint, cozy atmosphere of a mom and pop diner, this is it. This was one of the many times that we have eaten here. Pete’s Eggnest is a must when in Seattle. Everything is delicious! Staff are warm and friendly. Can’t wait to go again!

I saw the positive reviews on Pete's Egg Nest so figured I would try it out with some friends. What a find! The breakfast was amazing, the bacon-avocado-cheese omelette was perfect and the atmosphere Pete and his wife create makes me want to eat there every weekend! We left full, smiling and can't wait to go back!

Delicious food. Huge portions. Even the items on the Kid’s Menu are large. You can certainly order 1 item and have plenty to share. Amazing staff. Very, very reasonable prices. Steak and eggs was perfectly cooked, pancakes were yummy, breakfast sandwich was huge, and omelets are gigantic. You need to get here early, or be prepared to wait for a table. BUT.........it is worth the wait.

We walked here from the AirBnB we are staying in and had a wonderful breakfast. My husband had the waffle with eggs and bacon. He said it was light and crispy and really good. I had the Swedish pancake special. They weren’t as good as my grandma used to make (I wasn’t really expecting that...) but they were quite good. The eggs were a generous portion and the bacon was extra crispy just as ordered. Their coffee is much better than average (maybe that’s a Seattle thing). We visited on a Wednesday morning and did not have to wait for a table.

These are such nice people! An astonishing array of breakfast items, including th "share a plate" option, which you might want to choose if you order a scramble or omelette. My Italian sausage scramble was delicious, with excellent hash browns. I still have half of my breakfast for another full meal. And don't forget to pick up your home made baklava on the way out. They also offer a discount for paying cash.

Best filter coffee I've had in years. Food excellent. I had the Eggs Benedict; 3 eggs, Danish ham and loads of hash potatoes

It is just ok, nothing special. Kind off run down, super old. Food is just so average and bland. If you really need food and have nowhere to go, this is the place for you, otherwise pick something else.

My stepson and I stopped for breakfast on our way up to Deception Pass State Park for a day trip. As often is the case in Seattle, parking is almost nonexistent. We quickly found street parking, and seated ourselves at the counter which was empty when we arrived. This is definitely diner style food, but it is exceptional diner style food. We were promptly served piping hot coffee and glasses of water. After a few minutes the server came and checked on whether we were ready to order, which we were. Her timing was perfect. My stepson ordered the spinach and bacon omelette and I tried the pancakes with a side of scrambled eggs. The food was served on fairly large platters, and the platters were full. The omelette was full of spinach and bacon and covered with cheese. The buttermilk pancakes were fluffy and light. I particularly enjoyed the fact that they had a dispenser of maple syrup on the counter, they did not bring little packets were "pitchers" that force you to ask for refills. The scrambled eggs were moist and it was clear that this was more than two eggs. My stepson cleaned his plate, stating that the omelette was one of the best he had had in years and that the hashbrowns were cooked perfectly. They were crispy on the outside creamy on the inside and it was a large portion. One last positive, they had red Tabasco sauce already out, which is not uncommon. Pete's however added bottles of green Tabasco sauce, which is in my opinion much more flavorful and seldom available. We left full, so full that we skipped lunch as we did not really need anything else to eat until dinner time.

Bustling place that I timed just right at about 9:30 on a Friday morning. One table open by the window where I could read the paper. By the time I ordered at least three others had cleared out so there was no issue with me taking my time sipping coffee and slowly working my way through the huge portion of of food. All the dishes came with three eggs, mine came with mushrooms, cheese and hash browns, sour dough toast and raspberry jam. It was excellent.

Went there for late breakfast, and the place was packed. We were quickly sat despite how busy they were. Service was wonderful and friendly. It is the kind of atmosphere/dining experience where you get the sense of genuine hospitality. I had the Greek Scramble which was delicious. And HUGE! Part of the concept seems to be three egg breakfasts, always served with a generous helping of hash browns (and I don't usually like hash browns, but these were particularly good). Mom had one of the specials which was a ground lamb benadict, and my sister had the South of the Border omelette. Everyone's dish was huge and fantastically made. For the omeletts and scrambles they do not skimp on ingredients and every bite is full of flavor. Great food, lovely family atmosphere; we will be back!

Bring your hungry friends here for breakfast. The owners take personal pride in greeting and seating all their guests. You will leave full and happy but if you go on the weekends be sure to have extra time as there is usually a line at the door and a 15-20 minute wait but it's worth it!

Looking for a greasy spoon breakfast in the Greenwood area of Seattle? Then head over to Pete's Egg Nest! If you're craving old school hash browns, biscuits & gravy, or an omelette, this place is definitely worth the wait. Recommendations: 1) Breakfast on a Biscuit with scrambled eggs, topped with sausage gravy and cheddar cheese. 2) Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs with biscuits and gravy. 3) Hobo Omelette with sausage links, mushrooms, onions, and cheddar.

We are from the Bay Area and love visiting Seattle and going to Pete's while visiting our family. They also treat us like family , but don't make us do the dishes.

A group of us went there for brunch. We made reservation but still wait a bit to get seat. It was really busy on Saturday morning. They serve pretty good omelette we had couple different ones but I like the one on their special the most. The smoke salmon egg Benedict was kind of disappointed. The French toast was as expected. The breakfast burrito was good. All dishes have decent quantity and you will be filled for sure. The service was good.

My husband and I have been going here for breakfast and Brunch for quite a while. While there are other amazing placing to go in Seattle, this one is our favorite. We go here about four times a month. The food is always really good, home cooking. The staff has always been friendly. It has a good family feel to it. My mother came to visit and she said she would come here every day just to talk with the owners, because they were so sweet. The decor is that of visiting an old friend, who has always lived there and never changed their house (except for painting updates), and you would never ask them to change anything because it would just wreck the whole vibe. This is a place I always tell people to go, when they are visiting.

Went to Pete's this weekend with friends. We all live out of town and heard good things about Pete's. It was a crowded Sunday, so I do give them that. My comments: 1. do not get the bacon, they pre-cook it (on Sat and Sun) and it comes out cold and looks like shoe leather. 2. do not get the biscuits and gravy - their menu states that it is true southern style; they must mean southern Seattle, because it is nothing like true southern biscuits and gravy. 3. If you want more water or coffee, don't be shy, because they won't offer. 4. Have the specials, everyone who had one enjoyed their meal.

The food is always great. Portions are bigbigbig, we split a omlete or just take home the left overs. The service is fun and laid back. Has that local hole in the wall feeling. Wait time was minimal. Going back again!
Favorite meal of day breakfast?
Love the food and service. This place is always busy. Firemen, businessmen, families, and neighborhood friends. Good food, served hot at a fair price.
