This is our first time to dine at Peter Luger Steak house. We ordered their special bone-in ribeye and salmon. Both dishes were tasty. The steak was tender. The service was great. Everything is good but not great. I think it will be my first and last time to dine at Peter Luger.

The service, appetizers and signature cocktails were all top notch. Get the tomato and onion appetizer and the shrimp appetizer. Order the Midtown for a pre-dinner drink. Five of us ordered steaks (from Medium Rare to Medium Well) and not one person thought their steak was delicious. Ate here on a Thursday night at 8:30 PM

One of theee beat steakhouses on the strip! Simple ingredients cooked to perfection with usda prime cuts. For starters we tried the shell fish tower which had crab, lobster, jumbo shrimp and kumimoto oysters with a vinaigrette. The Caesar salad dressing was perfect then shared a jumbo crab cake and peters famous bacon. Between courses we did a scheduled tour of the meat locker led by Teddy covering the process and history where they dry aged their steaks then back to the table for our steak for 2. Strip and filet cuts from the porterhouse were cooked to perfection with butter on top. The manager Jamil checked in us service was phenomenal both servers Scott and Andrew made our meal amazing. Jon the somm paired a nice French red Bordeux that was not dry and paired well. Overall one of kind experience kudos to the culinary team everything was flavorful and amazing!

It's been many years since I dinned at the Brooklyn location, but I remember the food was excellent then. I was excited to try it again with my German friend who always spoke about his mother's potatoes. Well his verdict is the German potatoes are exactly like his mom use to make. The steaks were cooked to perfection and the waitstaff was terrific. The place was super busy but we didn't feel neglected at all. He was always nearby when we needed him. We all really enjoyed ourselves

Peter Luger is located inside the Caesars Palace Hotel on the side of the Buffet Restaurant. I recommend arriving 10 minutes before your Reservation as it is always full. The service of all the staff is quite helpful. The wine selection is very complete and only sell wines per bottle. Cuts of meat are brought to the table on an extremely hot plate with clarified butter. I definitely recommend Peter Luger Bacon and Steak for two. Definitely one of Top-rated cuts we've ever tried. It's totally worth it! 100% is a must in cuts of meat!

A very nice ambience and good steakhouse feel Service was ok. Got our wine order wrong twice Steak choice is limited. Rib Eye was good but the steak for 3 was average. Salads for the starters were at best ok , especially for the price. Seriously and taking the price into consideration I certainly had a better meal at Oscars the night after

I try not to write bad reviews but, in the hopes this leads to improvement-here goes! The positives: Beautiful restaurant with great ambiance. Busy and good atmosphere. Comfortable seating and immediate attention by wait staff. Amazing loaded backed potatoe! The bad: The steak and the service around the entree component. I've never been to a high end steak house that does not change out the messy bread plates and cutlery when the entree arrives. We had tiny , dirty bread plates with their "signature Steak Sauce" smeared all over our plates and then got served our entrees on them?!? When the giant steak arrived finally (Steak for three people= $240.00) it was honestly just very average. The reason for picking this restaurant was for The Steak and The Steak Experience. Further, we had ordered horse radish and it came out literally as we finished our meal. Lastly, the ice cream sundae one of us ordered had almost no chocolate sauce in it. The whipping cream and actual ice cream were excellent however. Overall, a very underwhelming experience, and sadly we will not be back-

*Unlike the NY location, you may pay with credit cards. We frequent Vegas every year for our birthdays and going to a steak house each time is a must. I have to say, out of all, Peter Lugar’s service is top notch. Not so much for the food but everyone in my party disagrees with me. Having a reservation is a must. Dress code is casual, nothing fancy. It’s a small steak house with a nice bar. Started off with a basket of assorted bread. My favorite was the onion and garlic bread. I just wished the butter was softer. The Luger steak sauce goes with everything! The menu is simple. No soups or specials of the day. But honestly a bit confusing when it says “steak for two/three/four”. Does that mean one steak for two people or each a small steak? They also don’t list the cuts. They don’t have rib cap so we ordered porterhouse steak for two and rib steak for one. That was enough to share family style with 5 adults including sides. The server sliced both dry aged steak for us. I preferred the porterhouse over ribeye. Ribeye was too much fat. The others preferred ribeye. As for the sides, it wasn’t anything special. Caesar salad and crab cakes was my top choice. -Sautéed cream Mushrooms: This wasn’t anything special. -Lugers special German fried potatoes: The plate came out super hot so the server went around serving each person. I didn’t appreciate that the phone didn’t get to eat first. By the time he got to me, the plate was almost empty. No photos. The special German seasoning was non-existent. -Jumbo lump crab cakes: More crab than bread. Very tasty. Expensive just for one. -French fries: Thick fries for the kiddos. Otherwise, not worth it. -Loaded baked potato: This sucker was freakin huge. -Caesar salad: The made a simple salad taste so good by being evenly tossed so each leaf was coated in dressing. We ended the dinner with dessert. Got the Viennese apple strudel and hot fudge sundae. Had apple strudel in Vienna before and tastes nothing like that. For our birthdays, we got a complimentary dessert. That dessert was 100% a bowl of whipped cream topped with a candle. The fudge sundae had too much whipped cream that I had to scoop it out into the whipped cream bowl to get to the other thin layers. Before we left, they gave out chocolate coins. Overall, I didn’t find this place worth the hype. The sides should complement the meats but it was just meh.

Underwhelming. Formica tables. Steak, great quality meat, cooked to perfection and then drowned in butter. Entirely too heavy. German potatoes a bit dry. Bread bowl and bacon appetizer were very good. For the price would have enjoyed a bit more up scale decor. Prefer my steak with a crust and rare center - this meat is soft and buttery.

We sat at bar and had dinner. Great service by bar staff. Ordered a steak and baked potato. The steak was properly cooked but it was tough and had more gristle for such an expensive piece of meat. There are better steaks in Caesars.

Not even sure to describe how great the food was but how bad the service was. It was very puzzling. For example, they filled my tap water glass with sparkling water. I told the waiter it was tap water, he apologized, went away and never brought back fresh water. Drinks were pricey but good. Honestly I would go back but maybe eat at the bar and see if that is a better experience.

Our meals were good, The service was good but way over priced! For a steak house the cut choices had limits. For a Single steak choice I could not order a Filet Mignon. Also this is not "fine dinning" restaurant. Their dress code was awful! Men wearing caps. People in jeans, t-shirts, workout clothes etc. Very disappointing. Doubt if we'll ever go back

Exactly like the original in Brooklyn, best steak in the country! Thought it would be just a tourist trap but they have it perfectly all across. So good I made another reservation on the way out!

The menu is limited, the meats are good but very expensive, and I don’t recommend the luger special sauce or anything called it. The salad came in the form of tomatoes and onions, and the special sauce was just a mix of ketchup circus

Myself and two coworkers ate dinner here on a Saturday night. First off, the restaurant is very nice inside and the hostess was very polite and ready to seat us. We sat down and our waiter was immediately at our table along with several others getting us water and taking our drink order. The waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and explained the cuts of meat. Over all the service was nothing short of fantastic. So, why the 2 stars? The steak, which looks fabulous on the Trip Advisor pictures, was anything but spectacular. We each ordered the "Steak for One". It is a "Kansas City Cut", which is basically a New York strip with a bone. The steak had little to no char on the outside and the texture was tough to cut and chew. On top of that it had little to no flavor. I asked for salt and pepper and all of us used it in an effort to get flavor. Since the steak is precut the pieces at about 1/2" thick and 2" long. I ate one and a half pieces and decided not to waste anymore calories on it. I NEVER waste steak, so that is telling. The sides we order were broccoli and fried potatoes. Those were as expected. Overall it was a HUGE disappointment considering the three of us dropped about $700 on dinner. Would I go back? Only if someone else was paying. For less than half that price I went to Ruth's Chris the next night and had a fantastic Filet that melted in my mouth.

Ate here recently with a group of business folks. I didn’t find my steak to be very good. Service was great. But it was overpriced for what you got ($81 for my steak - least expensive one on the menu). Steak portions were huge, but my steak was chewy. There was a limited menu as far as choices go.

We had a 5PM reservation and was seated immediately at the table of our choosing. Our waiter, Ramon was prompt and informative. Bread arrived in a timely fashion as were our drinks. I emphasize this because it was 5PM and the restaurant had just opened. Menu was limited and outragiously expensive. We started with a Shrimp Cocktail appetizer. The Shrimp were hard and over cooked. Ordered the off the menu Rib Eye steak, Medium. I was cooked properly but the quality and taste were just, ok. I also had the Creamed Spinach. It looked and tasted like an inferior frozen product. My wife had the Salmon. Looked like someone sat on it and was fishy tasting. Actually, it was the worst Salmon we've ever had. Should have sent them both back. The service continued to be excellent from our waiter and waiter's assistant. Now for Dessert. We shared the Apple Strudel and coffee. Strudel and accompanying whipped cream were very good. One glass of House Red and one Vodka & Tonic. Total Bill was $265.65 and not justified by the quality of the food. Also had the displeasure of observing diners with Bass Pro hats and Tank Tops. For many years our favorite restaurant was the Harvest House at Caesars. Now it's a Faux French Bistro. After living in France for several years it was like dining in a fast-food version of one. I have frequently visited Vegas and Caesars since 1995. Quality in food, service and entertainment has depleted and prices have soared. Used to be a nice place to visit. We went here before seeing Rod Stewart and it was beyond wonderful! We had a reservation but we arrived early so we sat at the bar. The service was wonderful and they have a German dark beer that you can have in a boot! It was nice to be at a bar that had good beer instead of the same old standbys. The seafood tower was outstanding! The steak we had was perfectly prepared to our order and was very flavorful. Everything from the atmosphere, to the service, to the food was outstanding!

Breaking a 4 year Trip Advisor hiatus, as we dined here today and had the rudest service we’ve ever experienced. Booked a 12.30pm reservation and ordered the burgers (thinking that would be acceptable as they are a “lunch special”). The minute we ordered the burgers and not a steak, our server (called Obinna I believe) switched from friendly and polite to exceptionally rude (ignoring us when speaking to him and aggressively slamming down drinks and other items). Once the food arrived, he didn’t come back to check on us, didn’t ask or offer any additional drinks or desserts (just slammed the check down) and didn’t give us any of the famous gold chocolate coins (when all other tables received them). The burger was amazing, juicy and delicious, but the experience was ruined by his childish and obnoxious behavior (as a side note, all other staff seemed very friendly). We spent close to $100 including a generous tip and were in there for a grand total of 30 mins! Whilst I appreciate we weren’t spending crazy money on steak, it wasn’t exactly a cheap lunch and we didn’t hang around taking up the table (not that anyone was waiting or queuing at that time anyway). Would not recommend or visit again as there are much better restaurants in Vegas (with staff who are actually genuinely friendly and helpful!!)

Great food. 5/5 for the food. 2/5 for the service. Had very poor experience at this restaurant: 4 adults and 2 kids. We were immediately given underwhelming service as soon as we sat down with two kids that ordered juices. Dear Waiter literally walked off as we were still inquiring about the wine specials as part of being Seven Stars members. Then he got extra condescending when we pulled out the Caesars Rewards card to check points and we even overheard him talking $hit about us to another waiter despite that we are invited by our Caesars host to the restaurant. C'mon, this is establishment run by a casino. I stopped the manager on my way out to comment about the poor service about Dear Waiter and he was kind of enough to talk to my husband about the experience. Dear Waiter was ballsy enough to toss the check across the table at my husband in front of the manager! Dear Waiter, I'm NOT sorry that you choose to be a waiter, that you have to work in a casino with ppl that use rewards, or that you had to work during Christmas week. Don't take it out in me, my children or my family if you're having a bad day.

Peter Luger’s Las Vegas – A Reluctant Pilgrimage That Paid Off I’ll admit it. I walked into Peter Luger Las Vegas with a fair amount of skepticism. The name, of course, carries weight—legendary weight—but a Vegas outpost of a Brooklyn institution? That’s a high-wire act few can pull off. And then there’s the $49 lunch special—a price point that barely covers a greasy spoon burger in this town, let alone one dry-aged to Peter Luger’s impossibly high standards. So, where were they cutting corners? They weren’t. From first bite to last, this was a masterclass in simplicity done right. The burger? Phenomenal—juicy, deeply beefy, kissed with that unmistakable dry-aged funk. The fries? Perfectly crisp. The Luger bacon? A slab of smoked decadence that makes you rethink everything you knew about bacon. The Caesar salad? Bold, garlicky, the kind that reminds you why this classic became a classic in the first place. The sundae? A nostalgic gut punch of rich, old-school indulgence. And let’s talk about the room—it’s not some gimmicky Vegas knockoff of an icon. It feels right. The dark woods, the understated elegance, the no-nonsense swagger. Service? Attentive but never hovering, professional but with the kind of easy confidence that comes from knowing you’re serving something truly great. For $49, this isn’t just the best lunch deal in Vegas—it’s an absolute steal. And yes, I’ll be back. March 21st can’t come soon enough.

We arrived with positive and eager expectations which sadly diminished from start to finish. Our server was disconnected and generally uninterested in our evening. It was a school cafeteria style of setting and service. Busy vibe which we like but service that can only be described as poor. The starter was so underwhelming, it’s hard to even recall what I had. We had ordered Champagne and this was poured by ourselves after the first fill - everything seemed so passionless. The ‘steak for three’ was tasty but ALL the sides were really bad. The baked potatoes (3 with different fillings) were all look-warm, dry and exceedingly basic. There was a real clumsiness to the delivery of the food. We suddenly had a new server who turned side plates upside down on the table, moving glasses out of their way and banging and clanging the items around. Then the steaks arrived, very hot plates (great) but the speed and disruption was alarming. The steak tasted good and we had it with very overpriced wine. Desserts came and the empty and ready-to-go wine glasses were all left on the table. Eventually we started grouping them all at the end of our table in hope that the server might remove them after noticing the group of, at least, 9 empty glasses now. This is FAR from the dining experience we expected based on the prices this place charged. The poorest service and product we have had in Las Vegas during this recent vacation.

Total ripoff. From drink prices to absolutely everything. Service was impeccable but it better be. Steak was a greasy mess. Totally uninspired. There are far better options in this town. No value at all.

My family and I have been to Peter Luger in Brooklyn many, many times. I couldn't wait for this location to open as I am often in Las Vegas. I was there on opening day and it was such a wonderful experience. We started with the sizzling bacon and sliced tomatoes to dip into their signature sauce. OMG the bacon is delicious. The service was impeccable from start to finish and all staff were welcoming and friendly. The steak for two-Peter Luger continues to serve the best steak I have ever had. Very nice atmosphere in this new location. Cannot wait to return and bring more friends.

I’ve been to Peter Luger and for my surprise the charge in my credit card balance was much higher than my bill plus tip. I am trying to solve with no success yet.

Our server, Brandon, was excellent. The bread took forever to arrive (not to his fault). Said they were making loaves still but the problem is every table, even those that sat after us, got bread first. Literally took 30 minutes….good thing we were drinking very tasty martinis and had waited to order our meals. Once we received our bread it was very good. We each had the power lunch: 1 )Caesar salad - huge and delicious Lobster Roll- perfection, buttery roll, creamy and plentiful lobster French fries- too soft 2 )Sizzling bacon-divine Burger- okay, burger to thick and was a bit dry French fries-too soft Both meals also came with a sundae. They were smaller than we saw in recent videos from previous patrons and quite honestly they were a joke. I would say they were mini size with almost half of the cup filled with whipped cream. We were so full at this point it didn’t matter but we were disappointed. Although we will return for lunch for the value or even try the steaks next time. Drinks were on point!

First, service was top notch. The food? Bread course, good. The "famous" German potatoes were a disappointment. The steak for 2 was decent enough, maybe a little overpriced (even for Vegas). Drinks (Negroni, Iced Tea) were OUTSTANDING, honestly the best part of the meal. We're glad we went, probably wouldn't go again.

My husband and I went for his 60th birthday dinner and we were disappointed from food to servers. They took our order like we were at friendly 's restaurant. The steak was over cooked. The shrimp cocktail sauce was so hot without warning and no water available to drink because they were too busy. The rolls were cold and dry. I have been to any high end steak house and Peter Luger was a disappointment the spinach side was like slop with no flavor and bitter. The bathroom was filthy and it's the manager it needed attention

We will be recommending and returning. The food was good. The service was good. We have always wanted to try the original location but glad to happen the opportunity to dine at this location.

I've eaten at the Brooklyn location many times over the past 30 years. My reservation was made 30 days ago but we still had to wait over 45 minutes for an 8:00 reservation. Cocktails are straightforward but a whopping $25 each for low end booze. Wine list was fairly priced for Vegas. Problem was with the food. Just not spectacular. Steak for 2 was delicious but plate was not sizzling as it is in Brooklyn. $110 lobster tail was tiny, cold, and not split even though we asked them to. Was extremely awkward asking the runner to split it in half during a business dinner. It was like we asked him to deliver a baby. I had asked for grated horseradish when we ordered but took 15 minutes to get it to the table after asking multiple people starting with the runner. $25 baked potato was not steaming hot. Mushrooms were uninspired and oversalted. Cheesecake was divine, however. If this place just wants to cater to expense reports where the standard is pretty low, they will do fine. But for people celebrating something special I would have been extremely disappointed. Almost $800 after tip for 2 beers, 2 cocktails 1 $120 bottle of wine, shared wedge, steak for 2, shared lobster tail, mushrooms, 1 potato, shared cheesecake.

What a disappointment. I was eager to try this famous well-established restaurant, but apparently the Las Vegas location has many kinks to iron out. Servers were attentive, but our waitress could barely walk. I mean no disrespect to the waitress, but I questioned in my mind how she could be on her feet in a busy restaurant the way she was gimping along. I'm not sure what purpose she served since she only took our order, and ultimately gave us credit for our terrible food at the end. Other servers brought our food, brought our drinks, etc. in an attentive manner. I ordered a caesar salad and a crab cake as my entree. My dinner companion ordered a steak and loaded baked potato. My crab cake arrived cold on a stark white plate with no sauce or condiment. I sent the crab cake back because it was cold, and asked for the appropriate condiment - lemon, roumelade, whatever. A server brought a warm crab cake out in due time. There was no crisp exterior to the crab cake and when I placed my fork into it, the crab cake fell apart totally, and it looked like someone opened up a can of cat food on the plate. I couldn't eat it. My salad was limp and drenched in dressing - not a crisp properly dressed caesar salad at all. I couldn't eat it. My dinner companion said his steak was "just okay," and certainly not the caliber of steak we expected to have at Peter Luger. Since the two items I ordered as my entree were unedible, I thought the potato would be my saving grace. WRONG. The potato was terrible too - burnt - where the potato was split length-wise, the top of the potato skin was black and charred - not just overcooked - BLACK AND CHARRED. Inedible. The gimpy waitress DID take the crab cake and salad off the bill. However, we STILL paid WAY too much for a mediocre steak and a burnt baked potato. There are MANY great steakhouses and restaurants in Vegas. Peter Luger isn't one of them. Go anywhere else but here.

- Our group added 6 people to the table (totalling 23) on arrival, and the front reception was attentive, friendly and fast in adjusting our room to fit the extra diners - staff were all polite and fast to refill water - mood lighting - A higher class steakhouse but worth it for a group feast where money is no issue - Sadly, no Malibu - Justin (waiter) was extremely discrete and professional at helping to pace the drink delivery for a member that our group leader highlighted as being potentially at risk of becoming too intoxicated too quickly.

The best steak I've had in Vegas. The best non Wagyu steak I've ever eaten The steak was cooked perfectly the service was great and very attentive. I had the NY Strip it was cooked to perfection well seasoned and served on a sizzling platter and sliced off the bone. I had a side of potato's also good creamed spinach and a seafood platter top notch all around.

Located in Caesars Palace. My wife and I dined here for lunch and were seated immediately. Very nice classy restaurant. We both had an Iced Tea. It came with a yummy bread basket. My wife ordered the Hamburger with a side of fries (the fries were OK, slightly soggy). I had the prix fixed lunch, with a Caesars Salad, Hamburger, Cream Spinach and an Ice Cream Sunday. Excellent. The food and service was top notch. Management should be very proud. I added many photos and will return again soon.

Of course we had the porter house steak…it was good, but not great…too expensive for the quality…service was ok and menu options limited…I think that there are much better options in this price class

From the moment I walked in, I knew it was going to be a memorable dining experience. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between upscale and inviting, with attentive staff who make you feel well taken care of without ever being intrusive. We started the evening with the seafood tower, and it was a showstopper. Piled high with fresh oysters, colossal shrimp, lobster, and crab, it was as impressive in presentation as it was in flavor. Everything tasted pristine and ocean-fresh, with just the right accompaniments of cocktail sauce, mignonette, and lemon. It’s the kind of appetizer that sets the tone for a special meal. Jamil the manager stopped by our table and checked in on us. For the main course, the porterhouse steak was the highlight. Cooked perfectly to order, it had a beautiful crust on the outside while remaining juicy and tender inside. The flavor was rich and buttery, exactly what you hope for in a premium cut. It’s a generous portion that’s perfect for sharing, though you’ll be tempted to keep it all for yourself. Eddie our server recommend sides and wine selections complemented the meal wonderfully, but the seafood tower and porterhouse were truly the stars of the evening. If you’re looking for a place that delivers both show-stopping presentation and incredible flavor, Peter Luger is an easy recommendation.

I enjoyed a great but pricey dinner at the new (open less than a year) Vegas location of this Brooklyn institution. Big plus--it accepts credit cards, whereas the NY locations do not (debit card okay). It's located in the Caesars spot once occupied by another NY icon, Rao's. Yet another NY transplant, Old Homestead Steakhouse, was Caesars' main steak place previously, but is now Bobby Flay's Brasserie B. But Caesars does have a second steakhouse, Stanton Social Prime. Luger has some tables just inside the entrance, then a large oval bar with seating and a few tables around it, then a large rear dining room. Reservations are recommended. The menu is pretty traditional. They only serve 2 types of steaks, porterhouse and ribeye. The porterhouses (NY strip + filet) are just called "steaks" and sized for 1-4 people; note the single steak is just the NY strip, no filet. The ribeye is for 2. The complimentary bread service has 3 types--Parker House, onion and a long roll. Here's what I ordered: 1) Iceberg wedge salad with tomatoes, bacon and blue cheese. Luger also serves their famous bacon as a hot appetizer or as a topping to any salad. 2) Chilled Shellfish Tower (sized for 1-2 or 3-4 people). The "smaller" tower had 1/2 lobster, crab cocktail, 6 shrimp and 8 oysters. Everything seemed quite fresh. The cocktail sauce had a BIG kick of horseradish, the spiced mayo for the crab was a bit bland. The mignonette for the oysters was fine. The staff didn't just box my leftovers, he thoughtfully put the container over a bag of ice. 3) Single steak. Luger doesn't weigh their steaks, but they estimated it to be 12+ oz. Steaks are famously served sliced on a sizzling plate; the waiter then rubs the slices on the side of the plate and spoons some of the fat/juices over them. The steak was cooked as ordered but slightly under seasoned. However, a boat of Luger's famous steak sauce is served alongside. It's a cross between a cocktail sauce and a BBQ sauce with definite hints of horseradish (much milder than their cocktail sauce). I gnawed off every bit of meat left on the bone since I was paying $$ for it. 4) Creamed spinach. My go-to steakhouse side, and Luger's was pretty good and a good-sized portion. I usually order creamed corn as well, but Luger doesn't have that. 5) Pecan pie. Delish, served, as are all their desserts, with 2 large dollops of "schlag" aka whipped cream. Service was fabulous, They work as a team, but my main guy was Curtis. Overall a great albeit pricey dinner,

I have always wanted to dine at the original in New York, but haven't been able to. Made it a point to try out the Vegas location while in town for a conference and it DELIVERED. The 'single' NY Strip was amazing, I mean AMAZING. The presentation was awesome with the butter and spoons, and the steak was delicious. I also had the mushrooms and they were amazing. The wedge salad to start was enough for 2-3, and not my favorite overall. Sat at the bar and service was awesome. Had a glass of the Peter Luger Cab, very solid. I'll definitely return.

its lugers - having grown up in brooklyn nyc long island - its lugers - just in vegas - its simple - u get the dark beer on tap in frozen mug - well done bacon - free rolls - bread is legendary - onions tomatos - luger sauce - and steak if u want - its legit - its $$$$$$$ but its consistently good - staff is tops - never a bad meal - but its gonna cost you - its where Rao's was in Caesars - nice space.... can't wait to go back

I was in Las Vegas this week for business. I had the good fortune of someone taking me out for dinner two nights ago. We had dinner at Peter Luger’s steakhouse. First, the positives which are many. The restaurant is really nice to look at, and the servers are all top shelf professionals. The presentation and atmosphere is first class. However, for the price, the meal was no better than average. I’ve had better steak at chain restaurants. Frankly, I was a little surprised at how mundane the meal was, considering what you pay. Fortunately, I didn’t pick up the check, or I would not have been happy. I’m glad I had the experience of eating at Peter Luger‘s. I just don’t see what all the fuss is about.

Wow! What amazing service and an expertly executed meal! Obinna took excellent care of us! From the Shrimp cocktail starter, the martini’s, the shared Porterhouse steak, cremini mushroom side and a fabulous hot fudge sundae dessert, nothing disappointed!! We traveled to Vegas often and this is definitely our new favorite ! We highly recommend !!

Our second visit there, but the first time ordering steak. We had steak, crab cake and fries. Both the crab cake and fries were to die for! We split the steak for one, which may be part of the problem. I understand the steak for one is a strip steak, while the larger steaks also include the tenderloin portion. The steak was tough, tasteless and over cooked (requested medium rare and it was at least medium well). It was the worst steak I have ever eaten. We were shocked since Peter Luger is all about steak. We ate at the bar on Tuesday at 6:30 pm, so no excuses for the restaurant being extremely busy. We love the overall atmosphere and the bar experience, thus the 3 rating. If I were to rate it for the steak only - it would be a zero.

We got the $50 lunch special plus $30 extra to get steak. Prices are ala cart and is very expensive…$21.95 just for a baked potato! Be prepared to spend at least $300 for your meal. Not worth it!

We had the worst service at this place. I was there so long, my beard started turning gray. We sat down and waited an eternity before a server even acknowledged us. Eventually, we ordered drinks, a plate of tomatoes and onions, and asked for some bread. Fifteen minutes later, the onions showed up—solo. No drinks, no bread. Eventually, we placed our order: two cheeseburgers—one with American, one with cheddar. Thirty minutes later, the burgers arrive… with no cheese. The server takes them back, and when he asked what happened, he tells us he didn’t know we wanted cheese—even though he repeated the order back to us. The burgers come out again—this time with the wrong cheese. And after taking a bite, we realize we got each other’s burgers—mine was cooked medium, his was well. At that point, we just said “screw it” and ate them. Over nearly two hours, we saw our server maybe three times. He never offered drink refills, never cleared plates, and pretty much disappeared. Despite the chaos, and the wrong orders the burgers were phenomenal. That’s the one saving grace. Of course, you can’t go to Luger’s without getting the berries and cream. But even that took another 30 minutes to arrive. I half expected to find our server at a slot machine. I got up to find a manager, but good luck figuring out who that is—there were about a dozen guys walking around in suits, none of whom seemed interested in helping. I’ve been here before, and yes—the food is excellent. But the dining experience? Absolutely terrible. I hyped this place to my friend as the best burger you’ll ever eat, but I’ve had better service at Chili’s. Look, I can forgive a lot. But if I’m dropping $180 on burgers, raw onions, tomato's, and some berries with whipped cream, it needs to be perfect. This was far from it.

If you want a once in a lifetime experience (unless you are the 1% and can regularly afford it) save up and make a reservation. Get the full effect by dressing up and making it an event. If you love wine, you're in luck with a great selection, but there's plenty of other drink options. Get the bacon for an appetizer, and don't bother with sides unless you have a large group and everyone takes a little, because you want to devote your stomach space to the steak. Some people rave about the homemade steak sauce, but it didn't do it for me and it certainly wasn't necessary. Order a desert to share with a group so everyone can try a little, the whip cream (which they don't call whip cream because it's something more) is insane to see and tasty too. Be prepared for a slow walk away from the restaurant, my advice is to get a cab to anywhere else, because if you ate your money's worth, you will be wanting to just kick back, loosen your belt, and soak up the carnivorous splendor.

I’ve eaten at quite a few very nice restaurants, but Peter Luger takes it to a different level. We have all had shrimp, bacon, and steak. But, until you go here, you haven’t had bacon, shrimp, and (possibly) steak like this. The service was impeccable. The ambiance was fitting, and the food quality was unmatched. You need to know that you share steak with your party, so you need to make sure your doneness matches. One of the best meals of my life.

I had the Single Steak with Luger Potatoes and a Caesar Salad. The steak was cooked to perfection at medium rare. The portions are large and I would recommend splitting sides with a partner. It was pricy but the service was well worth it.

Get the crab cakes! These were the best I've had anywhere. Steak for two was very good too. The service was a overbearing but probably since it was their first or second week being open. Beautiful space.

We had been to many high quality restaurants (including several 3 Michelin star restaurants). When we go to a restaurant like Peter Luger we are hoping for good food and good service. In this case we were not expecting any Michelin standard service. Unfortunately it appeared as if the management at Peter Luger (Las Vegas) really did NOT care about any of their workers. Obviously it translated into very poor service that they provided. If Peter Luger was a new restaurant, the market driven (capitalistic) economy would have killed them. Fortunately they have very good steaks. That’s clearly their saving grace. Will we go back there, definitely not.

The restaurant is very beautiful, large with many tables and a large room, seating at the bar too, small choice of menu, especially steak restaurant, large and succulent shrimp starter, very nice staff, good choice of dessert, expensive restaurant .

We were excited to try Peter Luger in Las Vegas only to be beyond disappointed!!!! We ordered the steak for 2 which came overcooked, no taste whatsoever. We had to ask for salt and pepper but it really didn’t help. Server kept saying how it’s dry aged and lightly seasoned to let the meat shine. I’m convinced we got a bad steak. We hardly ate any of it because overall it was not edible. The potatoes and salad were great bread basket was nothing special. We have had several steaks for two in Las Vegas that have been excellent in taste and the meat just melts in your mouth. This was not that! Servers were very apologetic but they did nothing to correct the problem instead they thought giving us a free dessert and some chocolate coins were enough. Very disappointing place.

Service was great and appetizers were solid (we split a baked potato which had bits of the famous bacon on it). But was very disappointed with the Steak for 2 option. What we got seemed like it was just a steak that was for a single person, but they were serving it for two people. I ate here one time by myself and had ordered a single steak and swear it was no smaller than what they gave us for two people to share. Definitely feel gypped. Overall, a decent steakhouse experience and food was good, but for the price you're paying, you're better off going to another steakhouse at Caesars or anywhere else on the strip.

We went to Peter Lugers in Caesars Palace a week after they opened the interior is a typical steakhouse for starters we ordered shrimp cocktail and tomato and onions with Lugers steak sauce both were very good for dinner we had the steak for four medium rare with creamed spinach and German fried potatoes and a nice bottle of wine everything was cooked to perfection our server Kevin was excellent he was way to nice too work in the Brooklyn location I would definitely go back next time in Vegas the bill was 510 for four of us just a bit more expensive than the NY locations

The steak was incredible! The lettuce wedge salad was the best that I've ever tasted! The shrimp with the shrimp cocktail were HUGE! The loaded potato was an epic fail; $20 is too much for a dry, tasteless baked potato. The service was disappointing. I expected more seasoned, professional servers at a "high-end" restaurant. There were 6 in our party (a lone gentleman, a couple plus 1, my husband and myself, so we asked if it would be an issue to provide separate checks). We were never asked if we wanted drinks. We were rushed with our food order. We were told that the ala carte sides could feed up to 3 people; they would have to be VERY small portions. Our server was switched out while our food order was being taken. There was no exchange of information, which led to some confusion at the end of the meal. At least the second server asked if we wanted drinks. The service was clumsy from handing out menus to taking the order to serving the food. After dinner, we were presented with 1 check. We were told he couldn't separate the check, but he could accept multiple forms of payment. We explained that we were told we could, and he said we didn't mention it to him. Mind you, he was the 2nd server, and that's where the communication between servers could have been helpful. He repeatedly said he could accept multiple forms of payment, even after we requested a manager. The manager was great! He separated the checks, no problem. We were given the 10% veteran's discount, even before they knew that the men were actually veterans. Like I said, the food was DELICIOUS (except for the loaded potato)! However, the main servers were not professional, in my opinion, and very disappointing. I neglected to mention that the "server assistants" were phenomenal and should be given the chance to serve!

My wife and I are regular visitors to Las Vegas and always stay at Caesar's Palace. When I heard that they would be opening a Peter Lugers my wife and I could not wait. I made a reservation about a month after they had opened in early December and we were back again in late December. Well all I have to say is IT WAS GREAT. I love a good steak house and I have been to a lot of them in Las Vegas and Peter Luger is on my top 3 places to go for a great steak. My wife and I had the Rib Eye for two medium rare and it was cook to perfection. The appetizers we went with there famous slice tomatoes and onions. The thick bacon strip and a shrimp cocktail. That was a bit to much for us but I will say this the shrimp cocktail was really good. On this last visit we left the shrimp cocktail out just cause it was to much for us to eat. I loved there crisp French Fried Potatoes. The staff is great and the waiters take there time to go over the different selection on the menu. If you love a great steak Peter Luger is the place for you.

We were seated quickly (we had reservations) and out Server (JOE) was at our table as soon as we sat down with menus. Before we had time to review the entire menu JAN - one of our server assistants - was at our table with a bread basket and butter. The onion roll in the basket was as light as a cloud and ohhhh so tasty! We discussed the menu with JOE when he returned a minute later and he made recommendations based on our indicated desires. We decided on splitting a wedge salad and though we indicated we wanted an order of the Luger Bacon he suggested we just have one slice since the wedge came with the bacon lardons (a great recommendation, because we could not have eatern three huge pieces of bacon). Then we split the steak for one - filet in this case - medium rare - perfectly cooked, tender enough to melt in your mouth - seasoned just right - and delicious with the Luger special sauce - and we usually never eat a steak with sauce - but their special sauce was absolutely delicious! We ordered the German fried potatoes as a side and were very well pleased. They were soft inside, a little crunchy outside and very flavorful. We also each had a glass of the Peter Luger Cabarnet Sauvignon that was very well paired with our steak. We were so full after this we couldn't imagine eating any desert. Throughout the meal, COREY - our second server assistant - made sure our water was always cold and full and kept our table cleaned of superfluous dishes. We had a wonderful dinner - the food was excellant - and the service and interaction with JOE, JAN, and COREY was a highlight. They were all three very professional and personable . They helped make our meal an amazing experience.

The bar scene here is really great. Well laid out and you can eat at the bar if you chose. The cocktails were very good - Strip prices - but that is expected. We were seated promptly at our reservation time. There were 6 of us and they had us at a long table at first. We asked if we could switch to a round table and there was no issue. They had it set up within a few minutes. Our servers were on the spot. There was someone for cocktails, someone for food and then someone for filling water etc. They were not overbearing. We had the bacon as an appetizer. You must have this - it was delicious. For the 6 of us we had the steak for 3 x 2. Way more than the 6 of us could eat. We had the german potatos and asparagus sides (which you can share). Between all of that -- there was a lot of steak left over. Overall everything was very good, The thing with steak houses -- they better be good -- there are enough of them in Vegas where you can try a different one every night. Was this head over heels better than the other ones we have been to? No -- it wasn't bad - but it met expectations -- did it EXCEED them -- not really, but we weren't disappointed. So -- that is to say - we went once, we will try others but would not give them a bad recommendation.

My top 3 steak house in Vegas. Expensive but worth it. Steak cooked perfectly with the butter. Been a Peter Luger fan since our days in Brooklyn. Just fyi if you are ordering apps and sides- they are good serving size. I would recommend ordering steak for 3 for 4 people. I don't mind ordering steak for 4 as I get to take home extra steak for my teenager at home. Even though the steak don’t need the their special sauce- we used it with the thick bacon. Love the potato side dish as well. Make room for dessert- loved the apple strudel. Service is great- do miss the yelling from Brooklyn. lol. Enjoy

Great meal at Peter Luger’s. A group of us was in town for the Super Bowl. We had a party of 10. Decided we’d try Peter Luger‘s Vegas restaurant. It was in Caesars Palace. Several of us had been to Peter Luger‘s and Brooklyn a knew what a great dining opportunity. It would be to try the Vegas location. One of the guests at our party had three magnums of wine. He had called ahead, and the restaurant said bring them in there would be a corkage fee. Evidently the corkage fee was $100 per bottle. Pretty expensive. When we got there they would only allow us to serve two of the bottles if we purchased a bottle from the restaurant. OK not a dealbreaker we want ahead and agreed to their terms. We ordered appetizers. We decided to go for two of the seafood towers. Along with an order of their bacon. The seafood towers were excellent. Probably too many oysters. If you have the opportunity on the seafood tower, I would ask for less oysters and see if they would substitute something else in their place. The king crab was great, lump, crab meat, some of the biggest and best shrimp I’ve ever had were on the tower. Next we ordered entrées, and we ordered the porterhouse for four, the ribeye for four, in an order of lamb chops. We also had asparagus, cream, spinach, and potatoes, all the food came out nicely prepared and warm. The one thing I didn’t like is the fact that they didn’t do the normal, Peter Luker, presentation of carving the meat off the bone at the table. I guess you can’t have everything similar to the Brooklyn location. We had a assortment of desserts. It was definitely a fun evening with our friends.

One of the best meats we have enjoyed and we are demanding. We highly recommend it 👌....the service was excellent

Nice ambience. Hostesses were efficient and friendly. Had a drink at the bar before being seated and hostess came to the bar to seat us. As we were seated, one friendly hostess said we had to try the “schlag” - best dessert topping ever! Servers were friendly - we had two assigned to our table. The entire wait staff seemed to hustle as they were bumping into each other, but I couldn’t find my waiters when I needed them. Bread was good, but only one pat of butter for the table. Bacon appetizer was good, but not a fantastic “must have” as the waiter told us. It was just extra thick bacon - nothing special. Ordered the Steak for 2, medium rare. Comes on a sizzling hot platter. Steak came medium at best but continued to cook on the sizzling platter to a full well done! It was very tender tho. When I told our waiter the steak was a bit overcooked, all I got was “oh, was it?” German potatoes were good. I remember thinking they should stick to the bacon and potatoes and just serve breakfast because they sure can’t serve a good steak. Also got the NY cheesecake. Comes plain on a plate. How about a strawberry or maybe a piece of mint leaf? C’mon, at least try to make a pleasant looking plating. Also came with a bowl of their special “schlag”. Nothing special about sweetened whipped cream. That’s all it was. The proud waiter came by and said “how about that schlag, huh!!?” You mean the sweetened whipped cream? “Yeah, but it’s our special recipe!!!” Whatever. I know this place is newly opened, but Peter Luger’s was established in 1887. You’d think that was enough time to perfect the serving of steak. But no. Apparently they didn’t pass this knowledge down to the cook staff at this location. The place is all about the Peter Luger aura. Menu is simple. That’s fine. But they should focus on the fundamentals. No excuse to serve an overcooked steak. Plenty of other better steak places in town. Go to T-Bones at the Red Rock. Great room, attentive wait staff, and your steak will be cooked to perfection. It’s an underrated place. Never had a bad meal there.

This restaurant is housed in the old Rao’s at Caesars Palace. Nicely renovated with expanded space but terrible acoustics. Despite having reservations we were seated 20 minutes late. Large groups of conventioneers at multiple tables made it difficult to hear each other. Table behind me had a guy in t-shirt, jeans and work boots ranting and swearing “f” this “f” that. I had to kindly ask him to please stop. Tables are assigned two waiters who tag team each other. Enjoyed the house wine (Cabernet). Three types of rolls are served with a house sauce that tasted like ketchup. Excellent shrimp cocktail, colossal with tangy horseradish sauce. House salad consisted of spring greens with a few thin slices of hearts of palm with vinaigrette dressing, bland. Lead waiter asked if we were ready to fire up the porterhouse for two and the german potatoes which we said, yes. We sat, waited, and watched as both of our waiters ran with trays of cocktails to two different tables of conventioneer’s. We waited and waited for at least a half hour. We flagged down our lead waiter who was carrying another refill of wine and asked where our steak was. He looked shocked! At that point we walked out of the restaurant, but not before stopping to discuss our dining service with a manager. He apologized and offered to find us another venue for a meal which we declined due to lack of appetite at that point. Never in over 43 years of dining at Caesar’s properties have we walked out of a restaurant due to such neglectful service. Dine here if it’s not full of conventioneers. There is no such thing as ambience, so beware. This was supposed to be a birthday celebration.

I was so excited about Peter Luger in NY that I wanted to eat here with my wife on my birthday in Las Vegas. Frankly , the Peter Luger at Cesars , to say the least, is not recommended at all , to put it mildly. We knew it wouldn't be cheap. But I would have expected a much better quality. The appetizers were ok , but the steak for well over 100 USD , was completely through and on top of that, hard as a punch. In addition, everything came to the table without much pause. Honestly, there are at least 5 better steak restaurants in Vegas.

We ate at Peter Lugar Steak inside Caesars Palace where Rao’s used to be and it was fantastic. The service is impeccable and the steak was sizzling when it arrived at the table. We had the steak for two which was $145 plus I had $100 off for my Diamond celebration dinner. We had a great time as I also ended up winning over 2 grand betting football. If you get a chance make reservation in advance because they’re very busy.

Full disclosure, we were here for a conference so didn’t pay for the meal. We were kind of afraid to go since a lot of the reviews seemed mediocre, but we had a very pleasant dinner. Seating was prompt, service was amazing, and we all thought the food and in particular steaks were amazing. We had a party of 11.

The king of all Steakhouses!!! As a proud and very active carnivore, I thought I had eaten at all the great steakhouses across the US and had the best steaks available. With so many great options available, somehow Peter Luger 's in Vegas, climbed to the top of my "never thought it was possible list! " The dry aged beef combined was just AMAZING! Match that with the unparalleled and somehow mind-reading level of service we received from of Iggy and Rafael, the cool and sophisticated ambience of the room, and the company of amazing friends all made for a magical evening!!! It may be a bit on the pricey side but it is SO worth it!! You want to make a big Impression on your boss, your in laws, your buddies or a big prospect? Take the leap and i assure you, it will be an investment in your happiness!!!

This was a wonderful lunch with extremely great service. The bread basket was a delicious and heavenly start. Husband had a delicious burger with the best homemade fries ever. I thoroughly enjoyed the steak sandwich with a side of creamed spinach. Dessert was beyond wonderful. The apple streudel with a big bowl of homemade whipped cream on the side was sinfully delicious. Next time we are in Vegas we will make it a point to have dinner here.

The service was very good. It was rather loud which made it a little difficult to have a conversation without raising your voice. While the food was good, it was overpriced.

The service was excellent and the waiter gave us all the relevant information about the menu. We went for the USDA prime beef, Steak for three and we were not disappointed. We had the jumbo shrimps cocktail, the jumbo lump crab cake and the German fries. And to accompany the steak, we followed the advice of the waiter and went for a Caymus. Perfect evening.

We come to Vegas often and I always choose at least one new restaurant. We chose this steakhouse and it was great. I ate the Dover sole and it was one of the best piece of fish I have ever eaten. My husband had steak for one and it was also very good. We had three people waiting on us and they were top notch. Our bill was $310 for 2 people with one drink (including tip).

After our second meal here (in the last four months), this is our new favorite restaurant in Las Vegas. The atmosphere is great, the staff are great, and the food is amazing!

Prime and aged ..... Those two words aptly describe Peter Lugers. Prime aged steak and a venue and service for this age. It has been MANY years since I dined at a Peter Lugers in NY, so I was glad to see that the Las Vegas location has made Lugers come of the new age. They take credit cards rather than cash only (cash only has a slight underworld ring to it), the venue and decor were up to date and luxurious and best of all, the surly old waiters were replaced by waitstaff that seemed to care. The two waiters who served us were professional, friendly and helpful. The tomato and onion salad had ripe tomatoes and the mildest onion ever, no harsh flavor at all. The Luger sauce tomato based and earthy. Add a little horseradish to it and it would make a great cocktail sauce. The NY strip steak came out blazing hot with lots of butter, pre-sliced for us. Luger potatoes were tasty. Bread service was just ok. Since it was our anniversary they even gave us a complimentary dessert - Schlag, OMG, super rich whipped cream with chocolate sauce and chopped nuts. Decadent. Unless you get carried away with high end wines and seafood towers this place provides good value.

My wife and I went for lunch. We got in without a reservation which was nice. The restaurant sits basically in the middle of a casino. The decor isn't anything fancy really either. The service was very good and we got bread with the meal. I had the steak sandwich. The meat was tender and cooked to my order but didn't have a lot of flavor. My wife had the Caesar salad which was fine. We also ordered the side asparagus which was really good and the baked potato which was gigantic and also very good. Both were large enough to share. The prices though seemed quite high. I realize this is supposed to be a high end steakhouse but it still seemed overpriced. The sides were the best part of the meal and probably the best value

Steak was hard to chew. meal cost over 200 and was so tough.it's supposed to be luxury 5 star dining and if this was how steak was supposed to be cooked tough to chew. I will keep my texas roadhouse steak smh

We have been to most of the steakhouses on the Strip and I cannot say I would be back. We were seated right by the front door and bar area was very loud and busy. The wait staff was very knowledgeable and nice. Unfortunately the food is just average. We had high hopes for the steak as it comes out on a 400 degree plate and is a fun presentation but the quality is just not there. The sides were ok. The dessert was good tho. For the price there are many other options in Las Vegas.

We had so much fun with the food we have been back 5 times since they opened up a few weeks ago. food was delish and service was great

Nowhere near Brooklyn quality although service is good. Situated next to Mr Chow. They failed to deliver bread until 2 minutes before steak arrived when they then removed the bread. Otherwise service was very good. Steak was average and service was fast. We were in town for the F1 Grand Prix and restaurants everywhere were disappointing. This was still 2nd best after a one week stay.

Sat at the bar (they will not seat singles at tables). Great bartender, very helpful. Had the wedge salad, bone-in NY strip for 1 and a loaded baked potato. Salad was terrific, steak was tender, juicy and cooked perfectly,, baked potato was a disappointment. It’s cut in half, cheese added, then back in the cheese melter, then soggy, limp bacon was added, and sour cream was on the side with NO butter. Not appetizing at all!. Just other for half as many people as in your party and you won’t overpay for this meal! Split everything and save money!

I won't complain about the price - as a rule I feel like you cant complain about prices in Vegas. It is what it is. They did mess up our steak order, and they made it up with a free shrimp cocktail. Food was good and sides were good - service was quick. But there are other steakhouses just as good all around Vegas

After viewing so many positive reviews of this Steakhouse located at Caesar's Palace in glamorous Las Vegas, my wife and I decided to check it out for ourselves, not only because we love steak, but also because this restaurant, judging from the menu, made indications that it has some German influence. After we were seated in the restaurant, it took some 15 minutes before anyone took notice of our presence, even though only three tables were being served. Finally a waiter came over to take our orders. We decided to try their Luger burger with Cream Spinach and Luger's Special German Fried Potatoes as sides. The Luger burger turned out to be very dry, the Cream Spinach tasted, well, like Cream Spinach, but the so-called Luger's Special German Fried Potatoes turned out to be anything but "Special German Fried Potatoes". It was a big heap of gooey, almost tasteless, barely fried potatoes. Having been born and raised in Germany for 12 years, and having visited Germany numerous times, our concept of "Fried Potatoes" differs greatly from what we were served that day. There was barely a hint of the potatoes being fried. Totally missing was the exquisite fragrance and consistency of fried potatoes. We were truly disappointed.

We had an excellent time here the food was great we ordered steak for two and veal chop which were both well flavored service was good
Exceptional Service & Delicious Salmon
We had an absolutely wonderful experience thanks to the outstanding service from Jaime and DJ at the bar. From the moment we sat down, they were warm, attentive, and incredibly friendly — truly going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The highlight of the meal was definitely the Atlantic salmon — perfectly cooked, flavorful, and beautifully presented. One of the best I have ever had! To top it all off, we were given a thoughtful little token of appreciation at the end: gold candy coins. A small gesture, but it left a lasting impression and really summed up the attention to detail and care that Jaime and DJ put into everything. Highly recommend stopping by — ask for Jaime and DJ if you want a genuinely memorable experience!
