The baba ghanouje will knock your socks off. Creamy tasty and sprinkled with a lovely spice. My husband and I shared the ownerās favorite dish which was chicken with fried cauliflower and an assortment of other grilled vegetables. It was divine. Get the diamond baklava! The service was attentive and precise. We will be back! The best part was the

Delicious food! But beware very garlicky. Great service very attentive. Easy to walk to from the Holiday Inn.

This might have been the best hummus I ever had. Dolmathes were also awesome. The kebabs with rice were so good. I was so full but I couldnāt have passed on the baklava. So good! Our waiter Dylan was phenomenal and everyone else on the staff were very friendly.

We lunched up with a couple we had met on the wine tour in st ynez and their friends. Lentil soup (nice but could have been warmer), plain salad and gyros. All pretty nice but nothing amazing.

A perfect night out for locals and visitors! My New Zealand friends and I had a wonderful time from start to finish, The welcome was immediate and gracious, The service prompt, friendly, attentive, and accurate. The food just the right amount, beautifully-presented, and very tasty. The atmosphere elegant, but with a family feel. And the belly dancing by Bella, superb! Highest recommendation! Please try it.

This is exactly what you expect from a Mediterranean cuisine restaurant. Delicious, generous portions, attentive service, pleasant dining experience. Would definitely eat here again and again. You are going to be stuffed so get the house baklava to go.

While visiting Seattle we chose to dine one night at Petra Bistro. We were glad we did. The restaurant was nicely designed consistent with the ethnicity of the food. Our server was a wonderfully friendly and accomplished person. The food was fantastic! It was much more than your usual middle eastern fare. Really exciting tastes. The prices were very reasonable.

why do we always find the good restaurants just as we are about to leave town. Been on holiday for 6 weeks in the USA and this is only the second restaurant that we have rated 5. Service was friendly and good but not overbearing. Food was excellent and portion sizes were more than adequate (bet they do not sell many desserts as I had no room and I have a healthy appetite), Decor was pleasant and overall a great lunch to finish our holiday off with.

We met another couple and enjoyed lunch at the Petra. The service was excellent and the food very good. We will return.

What a special place. We discovered Petra Bistro searching for a healthier dinner choice when we visited family in Seattle. We spoke with a man at the entrance about food selections and a wonderful experience ensued -- learned more about Mediterranean food and discovered a new friendship with Khal, the owner. The ambiance was warm, welcoming, and great for dinner with friends and family. Although we had to take our food to a friends place blocks away, Khal treated us to an appetizer as we waited and gifted us special spices when he discovered how much we enjoyed Mediterranean food. We encouraged him to franchise his wonderful restaurant in Hawaii. The Chicken Shawarma dinner was the best we've ever had -- you can discern the garlic, lemon, spices, and tahini flavors; Beef Shawarma was tender and veggies grilled to perfection; and the Veggie Royal -- perfect for vegetarians with a discerning palate for fresh ingredients and quality seasoning, delicious!

Wonderful place - great food across the entire menu. We got chicken shawarma, the Petra spiced chicken, hummus, olives and zahra and enjoyed all of it and will have seconds (the portions are great). Itās in a great, visible location and a place we definitely will return to for great Mediterranean.

We went out for dinner in a Saturday night. 20 minutes waiting was reasonable- no reservation. Food is average, too much rice on the entree dish and little meat. To pay almost $20 dolars for a plate of rice it's not my favorite entree. I got Ouzi that was very disappointing- as I said it was too much rice, almost no ground beef, and just a few small pieces of gyro meat. My husband had Garlic lemon chicken that was good. Overall we paid almost $50.00- I also had a coconut lemonade that was the hit of the night! We won't go back!

I was recommended to go to this place by a colleague that is quite often in town. It was my first trip to Seattle, and although the plan waste have dinner together there , at the end we could not make it together and I have to say I as happy I decided to go by myself because it was a great last dinner night in Seattle.

A group of friends and I went here on a Saturday and were able to get a table for 6 right away without a reservation which was awesome. Our server was fantastic and very friendly even though we were probably being a bit loud and annoying. Haha. The cocktails were delicious but the highlight of the night was hands down my Garlic Creamy Chicken. In all honesty it was probably the best chicken I've ever had in my life. I let everyone at the table try it and as soon as they tasted it their face was in shock of how good it was. Would definitely recommend!!!!

Friend took us to this gem while visiting Seattle on vacation! Started with the Hummus, best pita I've had, Humus was well seasoned and tasty! Had Greek Salad and Petra Royal, was a large portion, really, really good, wife was surprised when I ate the whole thing! Wife had Lental Soup and Garlic Lemon Chicken, I tasted, was good! Friend had Mediterranean Salmon, tried it, was really good! Best Baklava we've ever had anywhere! ā ā ā ā ā

We love Mediterranean food and Petra did not disappoint. The food was outstanding. From the hummus dip to the main course our food was all excellent. The lentil soup was unbelievably good. The Petra Royal was an excellent entree choice. The portions are large, so we couldn't enjoy dessert. However, we saw the table next to us having what looked like some delicious selections. This is a great choice for Mediterranean cuisine.

Excellent service, provided by Brandi! She was attentive yet not disruptive, always with a smile! The dolmathes were flavorful and the pomegranate martini was perfect. Well executed and fairly priced.

Petra catered my daughter's baby shower for approximately 40 people. We ordered hummus, baba ghanouje, dolmanthes, falafel and spanakopita for appetizers. The abundant amount was spot-on with authentic flavor. The meals consisted of rice, garlic lemon chicken, a lamb and rice dish with a house salad. The food was excellent and many guests asked which restaurant catered the shower. I couldn't be more pleased and appreciative for Petra's making this a memorable event. We did have to pick the food up but it was packaged and wrapped perfectly for transporting.

My husband and I were looking for a good meal in Seattle and we found it at Petra. The service was great, the food was great and we both loved our choices. The lemon and garlic chicken was wonderful and the belly dancer elevated the experience. Obviously great local place as the food runners continued unabated the whole time we were there.

Had a delicious dinner at Petra. The food was as delicious as the restaurants in Jordan. Excellent t hummus, falafel, and fattouseh salad! Great memories of my days in Amman.

We loved coming here! Weāre visiting from out of state and weāre glad to find a delicious place within walking distance of the local museums. We got the mezza tray, Greek salad, chicken shawarma, combo kabob, ouzi, and the dessert sampler. All of it was DELICIOUS. We will definitely be returning when weāre back in the area. We would recommend it to anyone that wants authentic and delicious Mediterranean food. Our waitress was also amazing, making great recommendations and was quick to help with anything. Come here!

Wonderful Mediterranean food! We had humus for an appetizer, spanokopita, a chicken dish, and a salad with chicken and everything was delicious. We often eat at Mediterranean restaurants and this is one of the best we've eaten at.

Our first meal in Seattle was terrific. The host and server were friendly and helpful and the restaurant is nicely decorated and great ambience. The food is fantastic. Hummus is delicious. You should get it! The meals were enjoyed by all. Flavorful and filling - we all took food away and will be enjoying leftovers today!

Very slow service. Failed 5 minute test for being offered a drink.!it was not even that busy being early on a Tuesday evening. Food servings are very (too) generous in quantity. I had the Petra Royale which included a lentil soup appetiser which was decent. Royale was nice flavour but a huge plate, rice, chicken, cauliflower, almonds, sauce. Another of our party had salmon that was dry and had to be sent back ( we were not charged). Baklava which was shared between 3 which was plentiful. Ok baklava not as laced with honey or pistachios as a true Middle Eastern experience. Service as I said was slow and painful. You had to ask for attention rather than turn it away. Hence zero service left.

After my last visit, and less than stellar review, I need to update on the basis of a visit last night. A friend suggested going there and I was game to give it another go. Very pleased with both the food and the service. This time I had the red lentil soup - a house specialty - and the combo kabob. The soup was right on, with just the right combination of flavors and the three meats on the kabob platter were succulent, well cooked and not the least bit dried out. The combo consists of chicken breast, lamb and beef kofte on a bed of beautifully prepared rice. Lived up to my earlier expectations.

We arrived at 2:24 for lunch, they close at 2:30. They said they would serve us if we could order by 2:30. Imagine 5 women being seated an chosing lunch in 4 minutes! Luckily the lunch menu is a little smaller than dinner so we all ordered in time. The food here is always superior, the pita bread is always super fresh, amd the rice is perfectly seasoned. Our waiter made sure our glasses were full and we all were satisfied. We even had leftovers to take and were out before the doors were locked.

After the Space Needle, my husband and I were hungry and I wanted Mediterranean. I read the reviews and we were not disappointed!!! I couldn't decide what I wanted so I got the app platter that had a little of everything and my husband got one of the specials - everything was SO good! If I didn't live on the other side of the country I'd go at least once a week.

We went on a rainy and windy Thursday night and the place was hardly full. Very nice ambiance in the restaurant and the wait staff was attentive. However they dont know the difference between the types of beer they sell. Brought us the wrong pour twice. The food is why I am only able to rate it 3 stars. it wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. The flavors were good. We really enjoyed the hummus but the meat dishes were chewy. I probably wouldn't go back.

Lamb and shrimp kabobs were good; service good. / Nice atmosphere with lots of room between tables / best restaurant we found in the Space Needle area

Authentic flavorful dishes. Portions are generous. The service was friendly and prompt. We walked in without a reservation but recommend if you have a group.

We had an absolutely lovely evening & delicious meal at Petra to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The first bite to the last was divine. A sensory overload of textures and flavors. The restaurant has an extensive menu - which is perfect so we can go back again and again (we will) and keep trying new things. The service was 5 star as well. Everyone was extremely helpful and provided perfect service. I canāt wait to go back and enjoy again!

Picked this based on reviews on TA. The actual experience bore no resemblance to the reviews. Waiter was utterly clueless...actually thatās being kind...he was just straight up incompetent. Wine recommendation was awful. Repeated had to restate the order. One of my colleagues got her starter and main served at the same time. Food was mediocre, with the exception of the chickpea and almond hummus which was nice. Zero atmosphere. Both my dinner companions said food at home is better. Never again

I really enjoyed the Petra Spice Chicken, which was very well-spiced and flavorful (not spicy) chicken over rice with garlic sauce. The hummus was also quite tasty. Everyone at the table enjoyed their food, and I appreciated that there were plenty of gluten free options (although not marked). Portions are quite large, and the included side of soup was delicious, so I think the entree prices are justified.

Visiting friends in Seattle, we were looking for a good restaurant to meet. As weāre fond of Mediterranean food, we specifically looked for such a venue. When we found this restaurant that shares its name with our oldest daughter, the deal was clinched. And we have no regrets. Great food and very attentive wait staff. And an ambience that allows for a normal conversation.

Mediterranean food is my favorite and Petra did not disappoint. The staff were very accommodating to seat us at a table for 8 - reservations are definitely a good idea here. The portions were very large so you will not go away hungry. We had two kinds of hummus appetizers, one the hummus royale and one with chickpeas in it. They were both awesome - honestly we could have just gotten one they were such large portions for appetizers. We had a variety of entries from gyro salad, beef kabobs to chicken dishes and everyone was happy. The rice is perfectly cooked. Fav dish was Ouzi - mix of meat or chicken with rice, peas and carrots. All Reasonably priced. Loved it all, just sorry I don't live in town as I would be back!

We had dinner here while visiting Seattle on our way to Alaska. I'm a vegetarian so I frequent Mediteranean restaurants. I have to say this was one of my best experiences. My staple salad, veggie kabobs and rice far surpassed my expectations. This place has some secret seasoning skills that make even basics anything but basic. I believe garlic plays a large role but there's more to it. All 4 of us really enjoyed our meal. Veggies and non veggies.

If you like middle eastern food, this is a great place to visit. The hummus has an amazing texture and is among the best I've had. The waitstaff are super friendly the food is very quick. This place is perfect for a quick sit down lunch with colleagues.

Excellent food. Attentive servers. Very nicely decorated. Great lentil soup!! Excellent options for vegetarians and non-vegetarians.

After a full day of touring in Seattle, my wife and I were exhausted and just wanted to relax. We are staying at an AirBnB in Belltower a couple of blocks away and decided to order take out. Great choice. Food was fresh, flavorful, and plenty. Only reason for the 4 stars is salad was overdressed and thought humus had too strong of lemon flavor. But how convenient!!

Delicious soups and Middle Eastern specialties in downtown. Don't forget the baclava! The kebabs are juicy and flavorful and the fluffy rice is always perfect. Did I mention the baclava? Friendly, efficient service at this convenient location. Don't forget to save room for baclava. Yumm.

Large open restaurant with everyone from young couples to large families. We had the Combo Kabob and Veggie Kabob. Both excellent. A belly dancer passing by the table with a sword balanced on her head was a bit of a surprise, but lots of fun.

This one was a surprise packet. We just walked into it with a bunch of geeks. I was glad they had plenty of good veggie offerings. The non-alcoholic beer was the icing on the cake. The seating and the ambiance was fairly OK. But the waiter was great, he knew exactly what was on the menu and he helped me pick the right stuff. The serving for me was a bit smaller in reality. With rice it looked big, but just dry rice is not something I like to palate. I would strongly suggest check it out.

Four of us had a very pleasant dinner at the Petro last night. We had lamb kabobs, ouzi with lamb, Petra spiced chicken, all priced under $20 per dish. The meat was perfectly spiced and not overcooked. The dinner came with soup or salad and we all chose the red lentil soup which was also nicely spiced. The servings were generous and we all had enough to take home for another small meal. Nice ambiance. One suggestion for the restaurant: The name is not very appropriate, we all mistook it as more Greek /Italian cuisine. It is actually more middle-east. I give a 4-star because I have not tried enough dishes yet. Overall the dinner is a delightful experience.

We just were walking by and decided try to try this place. Mediterranean food isnāt necessarily my favorite but this meal was fantastic. Lentil soup and lamb kabob. I highly recommend Petra!

We stopped for lunch while in Belltown based on TA reviews. It was comfortable with good service, and we were able to get light food for lunch. We had humus with pitta and a chicken wrap, and they were all good.

Lots of veggi options. Food was yumm, would definitely visit again. Din't expect its gonna be busy on monday nite. Make prior reservations because our wait time was around 20 mins.

Food excellent for the genre. Servers very nice and attentive. Clean place, very reasonably priced for family budget. Owners apparently from Jordan. I had a chicken special, and she had the shrimp kabobs. Quite nice.

I live in the Middle East and this place is pretty awful. Shawarma is a wonderful thing and this place misses the mark- it's not Lebanese (the best) or Israeli or Turkish, but some weird mix. We ate here because a friend said it was the cheapest lunch in downtown (and that may be), but I would rather spend a bit more and get a good meal than eat here again.

Even simple dishes like Lemon Chicken were super tasty and well portioned. Easy to get a table at 7 PM for 2 couples. Not noisy so you can talk normally. I assume it is a bit noisier on Saturdays with the belly dancers.

My wife and I were in Seattle for 3 days sightseeing and we loved the food here so much, we went back the very next day. The fist night for dinner, we shared the hummus with gyro meet on too for an appetizer. Delicious! Then we shared the kebab combo. Again... delicious!!! The meat and veggies were all great, and even the rice was amazing! The next day, for a midday meal, and we shared the appetizer combo. So much goodness. Highly recommend this place to everyone. Even if you've never had Mediterranean food, I can almost guarantee that you will love the food here.

I ordered carry out because they were about to close for the evening. They cooked my order of beef kabobs to perfection! The spices on the kabobs and the flavorful rice were delicious. I would definitely eat there again!

Fancied a bit of middle-eastern food when In Seattle so visited 'Petra Bistro' for dinner. It is quite an open restaurant with high ceilings with an okay decor and ambiance. Service was very good and the menu is all very good. I had the Red Lentil Soup which was delicious which came with the 'Combo Kabob'. The Kabob (Kebab) was good, my one comment is that my chicken kebab was rather chewy which was a shame as everything else was very tasty. I paid $23.95 for my meal ($30 with tax and tip).

Very spacious and comfortable setting. We ordered salads, a kebab and two gyro dishes. They are very tasty and authentic. The portions are pretty big, at the price they charge, can't ask for more. The service was good too. Will definitely be back if I visit Seattle again!

I was pleasantly surprised by the fine food, excellent service, diverse crowd and fine ambience of Petra. It is more Arabic than Mediterranean, with unique takes on common dishes like baklava and mint tea and some new things I hadn't encountered such as Shawarma.

I was at a conference at Bell Harbor International Conference Center and wanted to try somewhere new within walking distance. Iām so glad I went. The depth of flavor and spice combination for the lentil soup was excellent. The lemon and garlic flavors in the sauce drizzled over the spanakopita was a perfect combination. Iāll definitely be back.

We were in Seattle after an Alaskan cruise and picked Petra because it was close to Hyatt House. We love Mediterranean food and Petra is one of the best we've dined at. Service was friendly and efficient, (Hugo was great). A must try is the Red Lentil Soup. Like nothing we've ever had, 10/10.

I enjoyed my dinner. I had the Ouzi with lentil soup and lamb. Lentil soup is delicious. Ouzi was good. I would come back.

Loved the sandwiches and salads. A milder version of what's available in Amman. Lovely service, not a snazzy place but comfortable.

Great vegiterian food and nice ambient!! Try their salad, I loved it!! I certainly recommend this place to try out once.

We had dinner here tonight and we are in love. This is the best Mediterranean food weāve ever had! The food is authentic as is the atmosphere. Ah-mazing! Makes us wish we lived in Seattle!

Had a fantastic dinner here. I had the chicken kabobs and my husband had the steak kabobs. They were very tasty. Staff was friendly and helpful. Very nice atmosphere at the restaurant. Would come here again when in the area.

We had an early evening meal here on a weekday when it was raining gently outside. The welcome was warm and we were shown to a table near the back of the restaurant. The decor is very nice and in keeping with the middle eastern theme - dark wood, textiles and lanterns. Our waiter, it turned out, was from Ukraine and was very attentive and friendly throughout. We had a chicken and rice based dish which was delicious, as was the pitta bread. We would recommend this restaurant.

I have been to Petra several times over the past few years and this was my choice to celebrate my birthday. Unfortunately, it was not all that great this time around. We shared a mezza plate and everything was ok except one of the spreads - the labnie - I thought was too liberally dosed with Aleppo pepper. I had the lentil cumin soup and although I love cumin it seemed to me to be much too overpowering. All of the rice preparations accompanying the entrees were excellent. I was very disappointed with my entree, the ouzi. While the rice was super the lamb slices, that could have been a highlight of the dish, were dried out and not the least bit appealing. Our other two entrees met with mixed reviews. Our server was pleasant and attentive.

Food was very flavorful and service friendly. parking was easy. I would recommend this place if you like this type of food or want to try

Stopped by for dinner at about 6pm Restaurant empty but very soon filled. So go early or book! Authentic food. Generous portions. I had the falafel plate. So much food I could not eat it all! I did try baklava dessert. Nice end to good meal. Go hungry and go see for yourself !

We have eaten here about ten times. Petra deserves one of my rare, treasured ***** reviews. The decor and music are the real thing. There are no TVs blaring at you as you begin to enjoy their superb Jordanian cuisine. Good-sized menu accompanies an alcohol page and dessert addendum. I just love the hummus plate with garlic and pine nuts and warm pita bread. My wife really liked her salmon dinner. We could not resist the 2-1 dessert special so we carted home some special baklava as a domestic remembrance and pigged out with the honey and pistachio nuts later in the evening. The service is very attentive, professional, and appreciative.

After a long day of sightseeing we were happy to see they were still open at 930 PM! We arrived as the last to be served. I love Middle Eastern food and this was definitely at the top of the list! Excellent humus, I had a traditional Jordanian dish with ground beef, grilled lamb, rice, and peas. It was outstanding.

There were some good spots; the Falafel starters and the Baba Ganoush side were good. Falafel was crisp on the outside, tasty on the inside. The BG had a slight kick to it that was just right, although I would have liked a little more lemon. There were some issues though. When all four of us didn't finish a salad, then something is wrong. Plenty of greens, nice portion, but killed by less than average dressing. How can you mess up a balsamic vinaigrette? I know how to do it, but I'm an average cook.

We were in the mood for Middle Eastern and chose this place after reading many reviews on Yelp and Trip Advisor. The food could not have been worse. We had falafel and we have never had such bad falafel. The service was not good either. Maybe it was a bad night for them but we are definitely not going back.

As soon as you enter this bistro (and I admit that I was very hungry when we visited), you know that you will have a great meal. We went fairly late on a Monday night upon our arrival in Seattle as first time visitors. We were treated very well, served quickly and professionally, and feasted on some of the best veggie Middle Eastern food that we have ever had! I do not remember exactly what I ordered (probable a combo type dish), but I do recall leaving with my taste buds singing!

I don't normally review restaurants in my hometown on Trip Advisor but I know a lot of people check here while traveling and wanted to say that from a local perspective this absolute gem flies under the radar. Petra was on my regular rotation of lunch spots when I worked downtown. I'm a huge soup fan and their lentil soup is perfection. It tastes homey and comforting in just the best way. So, when I recently needed a spot to host a table of 10 where one person in our party needed soft food, Petra came to mind. Petra is a standout for all the reasons many recent dining experiences elsewhere recently have fallen flat. First of all, everything was delicious. We had a very mixed group including vegans, gf eaters, and folks trying not to over indulge. Everyone found something up their alley on the menu. The mezza platters were generous portions of smokey baba, smooth hummus, and a good variety of veggies, plus plenty of warm, soft Pita. The entrees and salads were fresh and abundant. Entrees are served on a generous portion of lemon rice and come with a cup of soup that's larger than what passes for a bowl at many restaurants these days. I think everyone took leftovers home. I'm so glad I was prompted to return to Petra after all this time and rediscover an absolute gem. I wong wait so long next time.

We dined here twice during our 5 night stay in Seattle. We especially loved the homemade lentil soup, which has a hint of lime and cilantro. Delicious! The salads (house and taboule) were very good. We loved the naan bread and hummus, which is a bargain at only $4 during Happy Hour. The restaurant has lovely decor, attentive servers and belly dancing on Saturdays (according to the menu). Definitely try this gem! It's great.

we dropped into this place during one of the busiest days in Seattle - and they were amazingly calm and happy to see everyone. the food was A-MA-ZING... though Mediterranean is a favorite of mine so that may be biased.

In the mood for Mediterranean food and found this place on our phone. So glad we gave it a try. Food was amazing, and the bread took me back to the last time I was in the Middle East. Service was excellent. Well worth the visit. Price was good for the quality of food and service.

Itās not always easy to get into the best restaurants in Seattle at the last minute on a Friday night. Luckily, it was still extremely early, and we were welcomed with open arms. Our server was filled with excellent advice regarding what to order. We enjoyed 2 fresh salads, scrumptious lentil soup, and flavorful, buttery soft chicken thighs on a bed of rice. The lamb was tender and the dessert was decadent. Portions were exceptionally generous. It may not appear to be the most āhipā place in town, but itās definitely a winner. Very highly recommended.

The food was overwhelmed with lemon, otherwise it would have been quite good. The ambiance was nice and the service was good. The cuisine was primarily middle eastern. Definitely not a Greek restaurant.

We visited this place around 6.30pm on a Friday evening, we were out near the space needle and I had spotted this place on my google map app. The place was practically empty, there were 2 couples eating. We were seated quickly, but right near the toilets, so we decided to move nearer the window. The waiter poured our water and took our orders, then disappeared. He really had no nicety, he was robotic, simply taking orders. Food was fine, very average nothing special. I had the salad and garlic lemon chicken and my partner had lamb sharwama. The place was freezing, not sure if they had just opened for evening service, but I sat in my coat eating quickly. We needed our drinks filled up and more garlic sauce but we couldn't get hold of anyone. We couldn't even find anyone to bring our bill. In the end, we just walked to the front, made a complaint, paid the bill and left. What a disappointment. Ruined our evening. They really need to put the heating on, and have more staff. Won't be returning.

My wife and I shared a sampling of appetizers, kebobs, and other sides. The quality and balance of seasonings and spices was excellent with everything we enjoyed. We would highly recommend the Mezza sampler, as well as any of the kabobs and shawarmas. Lunch was so enjoyable that we tried to return for dinner later in the week, but could not ( so sad for us!)

Iām Greek and am pretty savvy about good Mediterranean cuisine. I ordered the Petra chicken saladāThe chicken was phenomenal! The best tasting chicken salad Iāve ever had. The chicken was juicy and very flavorful. I was not a fan of the pita bread but the salad was so magnificent that Iām OK with that. Iām actually quite upset that I donāt have a place in Arizona where I live that even comes close to how great this meal was. You wonāt be disappointed if you order this!! Very impressed with how good the chicken is!!

I ordered a number of dishes (for pickup) to enjoy with friends, and found the food outstanding! It's authentic, delicious, and of good value (for Seattle middle eastern food). After living in Qatar for a year, I crave authentic and good quality middle eastern food! Sadly, Seattle has very few options, and most are quite expensive. I discovered this place online and it will definitely become my go-to spot! The food was flavourful, well cooked, and well priced. It appeared busy inside when I picked up my food, so it appears I'm not the only person who's caught on to this place. I ordered the Mezza Tray, Ouzi, Garlic Lemon Chicken and Combo Kabob. I loved the kafta and garlic lemon chicken in particular, and the mezza tray was great. As entrees also come with soup/salad, the meal was quite filling, even for someone who eats larger portions.

My friend who could not come for our gathering has ordered some appetizers and desserts from this reastaurant to be delivered to my home in Belltown. What a nice surprise! He ordered for us hummus and babaganouch plates with salad, and an assortment of Mediterranean desserts. They are all very tasty. I would like to dine in the restaurant one day.

We loved our food and ate it super fast. Maybe we were hungry from not eating all day but I loved loved the food.

I ate here more than once during my stay in Seattle. If you are in the mood for Lebanese/ Mediterranean cuisine then this is the place for you. All washed down with a glass of red wine - it's heaven.

We had falafel starter and Petra spice chicken entree . Both were very good ! Definitely one of the top few Mediterranean places we have been to ! The price was also good !

Ordered falafel and received 6 large falafel balls on a bed of rice. The salad was served first so there was nothing wet to offset the dryness of the falafel. If I had known, I would have waited to eat the salad until the falafel came.

Took our 4 kids. They didn't eat much but enjoyed the dancer that came out during dinner. My husband and I thought it was delicious. It was a short walk when you stay near the space needle. The atmosphere was great. A little pricey for a family.

We liked this restaurant so much we went twice and ordered the same thing both times. I think it was called chicken Royal. we each had an enjoyable glass of Pinot Griglio. The first time we had the house baklava or dessert

Nice Mediterranean restaurant Maybe for those who never tried Middle eastern food that would work, but for me honestly, there wasn't anything special Hummus was a bit too spicy Prawns and chicken skewers were nice but I didn't like the sauce on top and a bit too much spice Service is nice too

I took my Executive Committee (11 people including spouses) here for dinner. How delicious can it get?!!!! WOW! The hummus was saturated with garlic and obviously prepared onsite. (No resemblance to the horrid stuff in the refrigerator at the grocery store.) A few of my folks were unfamiliar with Mediterranean cuisine and were doubtful of enjoying it but they ate everything down to the last grain of rice! I avoid baklava usually (I like but it's a sticky mess) but this was lovely, crumbly, flavorful and quite a different experience. My Garlic Lemon Chicken was charry, lemony, and garlicky delicious. Everyone remarked on how delicious everything was and enjoyed it greatly. A success! Highly recommend!

Been here a few times with colleagues from work. Always find the food amazing and really good price. The service is a little lacking compared to the usual in the area but not awful. I can say if we end up here again in the future I will not be disappointed.

Petra Bistro is an above average Mediterranean restaurant. When I went, my group ordered the appetizers: falafels, labnie yogurt dip with cucumbers (tastes similarly to tzatziki), black olives, and Dolmathes grape leaves. For my meal, I ordered the Lamb Shawarma that didnāt come in a bread wrap as expected. The lamb and veggies came on one side, and white rice came on the other. The lamb meat tasted OK but I have had better Shawarma in my other experiences eating it. I didnāt taste the normal rich sauces that make the Shawarma sandwich so special. I have heard the Garlic Lemon Chicken is the best food on Petraās menu (I donāt love chicken and did not order it).

Convenient to Seattle Center and highly recommended for a lunch while out touristing. Elaborate decor and comfy booths. Smiling and friendly service and solid mediterranean food. Generous and attractive plates. Kids had pita wraps, adults had salads piled with savory meats and interesting seasonings. Excellent house baklava to end. Everyone left happy.

Delicious Mediterranean food with plenty of vegetarian options, including the lentil soup that is one of the options for to come with most entrees. We split the Petra fries - French fries with garlic ketchup and feta - which was delicious. I had the spanakopita which was excellent (and I speak as someone who used to live in Greece), and my dining companion had the kafta kebab which they said was also delicious. My coconut lemonade was also tasty. We walked over here after visiting Chihuly Gardens, trying to walk far enough to miss most of the crowds from the Gardens, which we succeeded in doing. Highly recommended.

Very tasty food, true to the restaurant's character, full of spices and aromas of eastern Mediterranean. Good ambience. Portions are generous. No kids menu.

We went to celebrate our wend anniversary. Girlfriend is vegetarian so Mediterranean is always a great choice. First time at Petra.. so many great menu items. We started w grilled scallops which were divine. My entree was Jordanian - style grilled chicken and gf ordered the Royal Vegetarian.

If I canāt arrange at least one dinner at Petra while here for business then I donāt feel as if the trip was a success. The ambiance, service and, most importantly, the food is....a necessity. The red lentil soup is amazing. I have tried many of the dishes but always come back to the house special Ouzi. There are several versions but the favorite is lamb. Donāt pass up the baklava sampler.

Have you ever had food so good you stand up and stomp your feet?! I ordered takeout and this is hands down the best Mediterranean food I've ever had. In fact, I can't think of a better meal period. I ordered the red lentil soup, Spanikopita, Dolmathes, Hummus, and Veggie Kabobs. Everything was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The Spanikopita had a light crust and the kabobs came with a spiced rice that I could have eaten alone in a bowl. I ordered via amazon restaurants and it came quick and hot. Guys- you're on to something. Bottle it and sell it- OUTSTANDING

This was our first visit, so our expectations were high based on the other trip advisor reviews. Believe them. Intense flavors rule. Creamy hummus with perfect Pita bread. Chicken cooked just right with a precise balance of butter, garlic and lemon for a creamy delight. And to add to our great evening, a belly dancer who was friendly, not seductive, so women and men could enjoy her skills. Balancing a sword while dancing was especially impressive. We will be back

Stopped in right before they closed for lunch and we were glad we did! Their wine/beer selection is good and their menu is extensive. We were in a hurry so we just got their appetizer sampler and it was fresh, flavorful and hit the spot. Definitely worth a stop in- the service is great.

Every time we come to Seattle we make a point of visiting Petra. There is no restaurant that offers such tasty food.. The owner is kind and hospitable and knows his spices Make sure to have the lentil soup.

I really enjoy Mediterranean food. I like the spices, the preparation, and the ambience. Petra has it all. Other reviewers have raved about this as a great place for vegans as if that's all it is good for. This place is perfect for carnivores as well. There were 3 of us and we feasted over the hummus and house made pita where the hummus had a bit of spiced oil drizzled over the top and tidbits of lamb: *Delicious*. It was absolutely fresh hummus. I had the mediterranean prawns as an entree, one of my friends had the mediterranean chicken, and another had the lentil soup - which was also the best I've had. Everything was absolutely amazing ... except the desserts, they were just OK. Be aware that the Turkish coffee only comes caffeinated, no decaf available. If you need decaf at 9PM like I do, then order the (herbal thus no caffeine) mint & oregano tea which made for a graceful finish to this exquisite meal. I'll definitely go there again.

Amazing ambience (decor, music). The food was equally outstanding; nice portions that were very well seasoned and presented. We were all pleased with the tastiness. Topped it off with baklava...YUM.

We had Babba Gnoosh [sp?], which was good not great , and garlic lemon chicken ,very good and the house specialty Ouzi with lamb ,very good. interesting flavors ,nice portions ,great service ,a nice meal

We visited before our Alaskan cruise. Had Chicken Shawarma; so good. We came back after the cruise for more. Mm!

A great find for us-thanks Trip Advisor. A very pleasant dinner on an overnight in Seattle. Nice environment and service. We shared a calamari appetizer. We both chose their Veggie Plate for our main dish. Everything excellent. The plate comes with falafels, grape leaf rolls, hummus, and baba ghanous. Good beer on tap. Wonderful meal.

My wife and I are long time visitors to Seattle. We visit at least 3 or 4 times a year and as such have tried many of the downtown area restaurants. This past weekend, we found the Petra Bistro and are we glad we did! We had a wonderful meal, the flavours were crazy good and we couldn't have been more pleased. The portion was huge! which was a problem as it was sooooo good neither my wife nor I wanted to leave anything uneaten!! We will definitely be back during one of our upcoming trips. We are so glad we found the Petra! On a sidenote it is technically in Belltown (I think) from the 5th & Pike area I would say its about a 10 minute walk to the restaurant. Close enough for us to leave our car downtown and walk.....

For young ladies ordering for different meals. Nothing was distinct. Everything tasted the same. We were told the locals eat here. Next time weāll go by written reviews rather than word-of-mouth.

First time eating at a Mediterranean restaurant. We found this restaurant while walking around downtown. The food and service was excellent. We had a great time. Highly recommended.

This restaurant is a short walk from the Space Needle/Chihuly Museum Area. We loved the food, and the service staff were very friendly. It does a very brisk lunch business - and a lot of people were picking up take-out food. Highly recommend. Loved the red lentil soup!

Itās hard to go wrong in this restaurant. Recently expanded, theyāve preserved their commitment to quality and authenticity. We have taken visitors to Seattle here more than once, people who are expecting āthe usualā emphasis on salmon dishes. Theyāve each been surprised at the range of excellent restaurants found in the Emerald City.

I went there for early dinner during business trip. - Location is great, so is ambience - Staff very friendly, service is quick (but I was early too with very few people in it, so may be different in crowded times) - Food was ok, not the best. I won't trying it once more with different dishes

The many reviews stating how much garlic is in the food is very accurate. No matter what I try to do to get rid of the garlic breath and taste seems to fail me! The flavor of the Falafel appetizer was very good. They were fresh and crisp and not too garlicky BUT the Hummus, Tahini Lentil Soup and Chicken Petra definitely were. I feel badly because I really enjoyed the dinner but the garlic afterwards is super strong! Everything had a lot of strong spices. Garlic and Cumin were the most abundant.

Loved this restaurant! We were visiting Seattle before and after a cruise to Alaska, and we ate here twice because the food was so good and the staff was so friendly and welcoming! The shawarma platters were great, and we also had the Ouzi specialādelicious!

What a memorable time. My friends and I were visiting Seattle and wanted to try something new for dinner. Iām so glad we ended up here for a Mediterranean experience. We had to wait about 20 minutes for our table because like every other restaurant right now, they were understaffed, but it was definitely worth the wait! The owner is a really kind man who is fun to talk to and our waiter was great. Most importantly, the food was delicious! My friends and I all got something different and left satisfied. I got the Mediterranean salmon and a side of falafel. I would highly recommend checking out Petra if you live in the area or are just visiting.

The service was nice, & the lentil soup & salad were delicious, but everything else was disappointing. The beef kabob was so leathery it was inedible, the spanakopita was soggy, & the felafel was too salty.

It was fortune or fate but regardless, a business lunch at Petra worked! It was a trifecta because the customer loves Petra and I was able to introduce this amazing cuisine to a born & bred Seattleite. The most amazing thing about Petra is their willingness to grant a fan like me a favor; cook a dish normally only served at dinner. Seattle, if you havenāt tried Petra then you are missing out. Go! Enjoy!

We wanted to eat close to our hotel and fancied something Greek/Turkish. We were not disappointed, the place was packed and it was mid-week. We ordered Houmous and kebabs all of which was superb. There was so much of it we took some back to our hotel. The staff were friendly and efficient. Really lovely evening.

Excellent food and personal attention. The food was quite delicious and good portion for the money. Great spot to dine alone and relax and would have been great with friends to share different options.

We wanted something different for dinner one of four nights dining in the downtown area of Seattle. I found this on the internet, booked a table for four. For us, it was a 20 minute walk from the hotel. The friends we met were Seattlites. We all thought our meals absolutely delightful. My friend and I had the garlic shrimp and they were fabulous. The pinot noir was delicious. I was meeting my young cousin's girlfriend for the first time. The odd and delightful fact of my random choice in reserving our dinner at the Petra Bistro was that they catered her sister's wedding meal, the place where my young cousin and girlfriend met. The evening was a perfect as they are as a couple. I will eat here again when in Seattle.

With high price and not very good price I don't thing this will be a good option or a right choice, the quality of cooking is not very good

Great food, the portions are large, so easily shareable. Really nice Middle Eastern food and our waiter Marcos was nice and helpful with food selection.

Stopped by this restaurant based on their choices for gluten free and vegetarian. We are so glad we did! They had a good number of food choices, but not too many to be overwhelming. Most of their dished but one or 2 are vegetarian and or gluten free. We tried the Vegetarian plate and the Garlic Lemon Chicken (for the non vegetarian). both meals were exceptional! The best Baba Ghanouje I have ever had. I wish we lived in Seattle so we could go here more often! Service was great, they were very attentive.

This place was very close to the Chihuly Gardens and Space Needle. We stopped to order lunch and the service was good, the food was great and the prices were not expensive as some of the other restaurants in Seattle. Good dishes are the garlic lemon chicken and labnie!

The food is fantastic The Meza tray is simply awesome Full of fresh foods The falafel just melts in the mouth The soup lentil soup is wonderful The Mediterranean Prawn was very nice

We read great reviews and my partner is Middle Eastern so we decided to try it. The food was terrible. It is super super salty, lemony and basically pure garlic. We eat really clean food so it hit us hard and it felt like there was no other flavor but lemon, garlic and salt. We eat and cook a ton of Middle Eastern food and this place just fell so so short. The staff was really nice and so was the ambiance but the food was awful. We both spent the whole night reeking of garlic, gross. Of 5 dishes we tried, not one was remotely delicious. That kind of says a lot.

I had three dishes here that I would recommend. First we ordered hummus for the table. It was delicious and a substantial portion. Second the red lentil soup is a must. Just a fantastic soup with tons of flavor. And I had the garlic chicken which was very tasty. I did though try the lamb and beef kabobs my friend ordered and to me they were not very good. Overall I would definitely return to eat here again.

I liked Petra. I put off ordering take out from this restaurant,a couple steps from our apartment, because the reviews weren't glowing, and we know Middle Eastern food well. Between trips to North Africa, friends from Jordan, Palestine and Lebanon, we have dined on some great food. I don't include Israeli cuisine because I feel that still has some Eastern European influence. Petra certainly caters to western palates, and tones down the spices. This was disappointing. Everything was a bit dry, but tasted good. I yearned for some sauce to mitigate the puckering dryness. My favorite was the Ouzi, a Jordanian dish packed with meat, peas, rice, and flavorful spices that helped me to recall the warmth and welcome of a Middle Eastern meal. I wanted more flavor, but the dish was good. Falafel was okay, again a bit too dry. I think Petra Bistro may try to be too much, the kitchen putting out food representative of several countries: Greece, Turkey, Jordan, Palestine, Lebanon etc. Perhaps if Petra focused on Jordan and the Levantine, their culinary skills would shine. However, I will return for more of Petra's cooking.

Dined here with hubby last night. We are visiting Seattle and found this restaurant on Trip Advisor. Fabulous. We had reservations but it was a weeknight - maybe not needed. Great host, great waitress, great restaurant. Hubby ordered a chicken kabob. I had a lamb kabob. Both came with a green salad with a delightful dressing. The lamb was thinly sliced and was probably the best lamb kabob Iāve ever had. Hubby felt the same about the chicken. Both were served on a bed of tasty rice with a wonderful saucE. LOVED LOVED OUR DINNER! Iād return in a heartbeat!

Thjis was our second visit to this bistro because our first visit was so memorable. They have a wife range of entrees and since there were four of us, we each had something different and each one of us marveled at the goodness of our entrees. The staff were very competent and skillful. After our cocktails were served and our orders taken, we sat back to enjoy wonderful salads we ordered. All of our meals were very good with ample portions. Everything was very tasty, nicely presented and we will look forward to returning to this restaurant which we now consider a "must visit" place on our ventures to Seattle, a wonderful place to just have fun.

Fantastic food and great service! We went to Petra Bistro tonight for dinner and we had a great meal. Our waitress, Arielle, seated us and then brought us waters. We ordered our food and a short time later, we were eating a great meal. We ordered a Kafta Kabob plate, a salad, a veggie Kabob, hummus and pita. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. Arielle was great, very attentive and very pleasant. We got a Baklawa sampler for dessert and it was just as good as everything else. Highly recommended for a great Mediterranean meal in Seattle.

A small place with a great menu. We were looking for something close to our hotel and found this place. It was early when we went and as a result we were able to take advantage of Happy Hour. Our server, Michael, made some suggestions which we followed and were rewarded with a very enjoyable experience.

We started with several appetizers. We liked the grape leaves and the hummus. The baba ganoush was very smoky tasting. Salads were good and huge.LOTS of oregano in the dressing. We found the lentil soup was too heavy on the spice -- allspice I think? Again, the same spices - all spice and cumn -- were in heavy use on the meat dishes. We enjoyed the ambiance and the people-watching. While also overly spiced we enjoyed the unique dish - Ouzi. Also enjoyed the Veggie Royale. Gyros meat was overly done, unusually tough. Not a real win in our book.

Delightful meals, good flavors that were delicate. Enjoyed everything I tasted. Turkish coffee was delicious and this was the best baklava I have ever head.

We had a delicious dinner here before a concert at the Key Arena. The veggies were cooked perfectly, the meat seasoned just right, the hummus and baba ganoush were excellent. Just a wonderful meal with excellent service!

Stopped in for lunch after a visit to the Space Needle. Petra was conveniently located close by. We had veggie skewers and the veggie combo and both were very good. The highlight of the meal was the red curry lentil soup which was absolutely delicious! It was very quiet in the restaurant while we were there around 1 pm in a weekday afternoon. Service was quick and staff were friendly, courteous and helpful.

We visited with my boss, who has been in the "real" Petra and is a Mideastern food maven. Very friendly, accommodating host, cool space. After a variety of appetizers, all very good, my wife had the Ouzi -- that was really, really, really scrumptious. I had the Petra Spice Chicken - nice but didn't blow me away. My boss had kabobs and felt they were dry., All in all, very good but did not rise to greatness.

Have eaten here once and already looking forward to going back. They take online reservations except between 7-8 p.m., when it is walk-ins only. We made a reservation for after 8, but took our chances and walked in at 7 p.m. and were able to get a table. The host easily cancelled our later reservation with no problem. Service was friendly and prompt. Decor was very nice, with eastern art and colours, and lots of tall windows to let in the natural light. The food was absolutely fantastic and the portions are large. Appetizer dips with pita could be easily shared by up to four people. Lamb dishes come with thinly sliced meat that is very tender. Vegetables are cooked to a perfect tender crisp. The wine list is limited but the house chianti is of decent quality and well-priced. A very enjoyable dinner spot that I'd highly recommend.

Looking for a dinner place. Many options already booked solid. Tried this place an the food and service were great. We had the lamb kabobs and salmon kabobs. Both were excellent. They came with lentil soup which was wonderful. The house baklava was the best ever.

We stopped in on a rainy night for dinner as we love Middle eastern food and saw good reviews. I had Veggie Royale and my companion had Veggie Shawarma. Both were heavy on garlic. We're not particularly garlic sensitive. Hummus was good. Could've used more pita bread (costs extra). We were disappointed based on trip advisor reviews. Maybe it was an off night. Service was appropriate.

At first the place looked promising - I was after some tasty food, but the service was slow and when the food came there was a huge portion kind of haphazardly placed on my plate in a not very appetizing way - and lacking flavor. Disappointing.

What a fantastic restaurant! Server Yolanda was attentive, friendly, and served us incredible food. We shared an order of Ouzi and prawn kabobs and it was plenty for the two of us. Definitely will return!

My husband and I visit Seattle for shows at Jazz Alley and have tried various restaurants. This one has been great each time we've been and the service has been good too. I like the lemon chicken the first time and since it is so good, I don't try anything else, but lots of dishes come out of the kitchen and the other customers are happy.

It's always great to find a place that has a lot of vegan options and that is true about Petra. The falafel is vegan and gluten free and delicious! There are other options that are also vegan and gluten free. The food is excellent and the people are very nice here.

My family and I visited Petra yesterday evening for dinner. First, the interior is nice and gives you a glimpse of Middle Eastern decor. The music was lovely and our kids (4,6, and 7) danced to it. The food is out of this world good!! The use of spices with the various dishes was excellent. My kids had the garlic lemon chicken and prawns skewer. They loved it and they are finicky eaters. My husband had the Jordanian dish with lamb and he enjoyed it. I had the Taste of Africa with the red lentil soup. So delicious! The quantity of food is sufficient and you will have leftovers. The service is wonderful. We had Mike as our server and he was terrific, attentive, and gave great recommendations. Do not forget to order the hummus! Hands down, the best meal we have had while in Seattle!

This restaurant was visited by me in 2015 when it was a small boutique restaurant with limited tables but unlimitedly tasty food. I had decided then on my next visit I would visit this place and I did yesterday. The experience just got better with a bigger place and courteous staff. We ordered the trickster IPA beer, and tamerhind drink which was still the same. Then had the signature Petra fries as delicious as ever . And for main course had the veg kababs and chicken kababs served with rice and salad . The taste has definitely improved. And can we conclude without their famous pistachio baklava ? As sweetly delicious as ever . The best part between 2015& 2017 the price increases by a 1.5$ only on each item . But worth it. Visitors to Seattle can't afford to miss this joint.

We were able to go 30 minutes before closing and majority of our dishes were delicious! We ordered the gyro salad, which is a must! The meat is tender and the serving was good enough to share. We also ordered the combo kebab which consisted of chicken, lamb, and ground beef kebab. The chicken was tasty with a strong garlic lemon marinade while the lamb was so tender. Didnāt like the ground beef kebab as it tasted weird. But other than that, we loved the ever prince. Also, offer the baklava. You wonāt regret it. Would definitely come back!

The food is good. Unique flavors that are delicious. Love the dancers, and the friendly staff. We will definitely go again

The hummus the barbecue Googe, the olives all were better than anything Iāve had before there was a lentil soup also canāt describe the taste other than it had a little bit of lemon in it, but it was great

My rating should be 4.5 not a 4 because it is better than just a 4. My wife and I started with baba ghanouje and it was excellent and large for an appetizer. We quit eating it because we wanted to be sure we could eat our entree. We both ordered lamb shawarma and it also was excellent. Neither one of us could finish our entrees so we had leftovers the next night. The lamb dish was excellent. Service was friendly and good. All in all a most delightful dinner.

My wife and I were interested in something a bit different for dinner - so we headed to Petra Mediterranean Bistro for dinner. The restaurant is warm and inviting and we were quickly ushered to a table in the attractive dining room. Our server, Carolyn, was warm and friendly, answer all of our questions, and took great care of us all evening. I ordered chicken kabobs and wife side ordered the lamb version. Both were attractively plated, tender, and full of wonderful flavors. A fantastic meal and we hope to return on our next visit to Seattle!

A nice walk to an evening meal from downtown. The staff seemed a little confused at the front regarding who was greeting and who was hosting. Everyone was friendly but no one was assertive in caring for the customer. The low point: The Garlic lemon Chicken was on a bed of excellent rice. I thought the chicken was simply some chicken strips from a bag or simply were warmed up before the sauce was ladled on. The lemon and garlic were not balanced - too little lemon but the garlic was fresh. The addition sauce added some cayenne but the dish was otherwise unremarkable. The high points: The service was actually very good once at the table. Kudos to Carolyn for her attention. The Ice Cream Baklawa is worth a return trip. The flavors were perfectly matched.

Underrated stop near the Space Needle was a perfect lunch spot with a fantastic Middle Eastern menu and a relaxing atmosphere. Uniquely decorated, the art throughout this establishment is worth visiting. Nice work!

We had dinner here with 6 people. The service was very good, quick and accurate. The food delicious and well priced. I would come back for sure!!

Underrated stop near the Space Needle was a perfect lunch spot with a fantastic Middle Eastern menu and a relaxing atmosphere. Uniquely decorated, the art throughout this establishment is worth visiting. Nice work!

Great ambiance, great food, great service .. oh and awesome pomegranate martinis. We were in a group of ten and food was fresh and delicious. Great gluten free options as well.

Petra offers one of the better values in Seattle. The food is good, the portions are large, the prices are reasonable, but what I really love about Petra is the warmth and friendliness of the staff. Bring your toddler and your tween, your fussy mother, your uncle who complains about everything, your gluten-free vegan sister, and the staff at Petra will find a way to make all of them happy.

Two years ago we had the good fortune to visit Jordan and we were looking for a Seattle restaurant where we could relive the adventure. Petra Mediterranean Bistro did not disappoint. Inside is a beautifully appointed space with paintings of Petra and the Mid East with traditional influences and a guilted touch. They feature Jordanian dishes plus ones from around the Mediterranean. The Chicken Shawarma and the Lamb Kebabs were beautifully cooked and seasoned. The cashews wrapped with filo dough were delicious and the service was top notch. Our waiter was very attentive and helped us with any questions we had. I strongly suggest you make it a plan to stop in for a lovely meal to share with our international friends.

We came here on a Saturday night, the restaurant was about 3/4 filled. Reservations highly recommended. We started with the Petra Fries (nothing out of the ordinary but different) and Petra Calamari (which was very good). Our entrees were, lamb Shwarma (highly recommended), Chicken Shwarma (this was OK but not as good as the lamb, and Garlic Lemon Chicken (we found this dish to be too lemony). Our dessert was their homemade House Baklawa which was excellent. Plenty of metered parking on the street. Free after 8PM on Sat.

Went here with our sister and bro-in-law and we all enjoyed our meal very much. You do need to like garlic because they are generous with it, but that really adds a lot to the food. We each had a different dish and they were all excellent. The restaurant has recently expanded into the space next door, which is greatly appreciated because on a weekend evening, the wait for a table used to be quite long. That gives you an idea how popular the place is.

This is quite an amazing restaurant with no concession whatsoever to what they serve. The menu is quite extensive with a mix of food from the Middle East and Mediterranean. So actually, I had a bit of a problem to make a selection since they have a lot to choose from. I started with lentil soup and a plate of hummus with pita. Both with a perfect authentic taste. Main course was a large plate with ouzi (spiced rice), topped with beef/lamb gyros. Though the gyros was prefab, it tasted quite well and the ouzi was just like it should be. I ended up with a very nice house made baklava, also quite large, and a perfect cup of Turkish coffee, exactly Orta Åekerli as I ordered. All in all 5 stars, by far the best restaurant in Seattle during this business trip and also a superb price/quality ratio.

So glad we came in here on a rainy Friday evening!! Inviting Mediterranean setting, super friendly service and outstanding food. Portions are big and fairly priced too!

Great food, great atmosphere, great service. Highly recommend the french fries with Greek katchup & taziki sauce.

Had the African Chicken for our anniversary dinner and it did not disappoint. Ordered it to go so we could eat in our hotel room and we were very happy with our meal. Large serving size and delicious.

They offer a good varied menu with good service in an interesting mediterranean atmosphere. We saw it walking by and was a good different choice for dinner.
Overrated!
We had vegetarians in our party and went here for dinner. They refused to make a falafel sandwich for us and said we could order a falafel plate and make it ourselves! For $14 a plate, they could have made it for us considering they have all of the ingredients! Ridiculous! The falafel plate was okay- nothing outstanding. Can find better food in Seattle.
