This was the absolutely worst breakfast I have ever had, and that includes fast food comparison. Quick disclaimer - waitress was very nice, and yes, I am aware that this is supposedly a sea food place, so maybe their dinner mnu is better quality. I stopped there for brunch, ordered "rise and shine" that includes eggs, sausage and potatoes with toast and tea. 1st disappointment was that they don't serve black tea, only herbal or green. Ok, ordered coffee that tasted like acid. I asked for poached eggs and instead got something that was dumped into a form covered in oil and fried (you can see close-up pictures for yourself ). So overcooked that yolk was solid. Potatoes were like cardboard, tasteless and hard/dry. The worst was chicken sausage, a revolting tasting once I was able to cut a tiny piece out of it, and so desiccated it could be used for shoe sole. Seriously, the only thing on my plate that was even palatable (forget about tasty!) was the toast. Absolutely disgusting experience.

Had the yellowfin tuna sandwich and it was unbelievably good and my son had the lobster ravioli which was equally edible. Great service.

Have been visiting Phillips Seafood (Terminal D) for almost a year now and have never been disappointed. The food is very consistent and the - the tuna sandwich is just awesome, their house Bloody Mary is a great addition and the servers there are as friendly as you cold hope for. Johnny, Yolanda and the team are fun to be with and complete the experience.

Provides a terrific seafood choice in Atlanta airport. The blackened tuna sandwich was very good indeed. Ask for it with pickled ginger to go with the wasabi mayo.

Had the Crab soup and crab cake sandwich. Was surprised to real crab in the soup and more crab meat than filling in the crab cake. Service was pleasant and efficient. They actually opened up the lunch menu early for us...flexibility almost unheard of in an airport venue.

We stopped in here during a recent layover in the ATL airport. They do a respectable job of fish and chips as well as the lobster roll. I was pleasantly surprised and will return.

We had a layover at ATL and went in to Phillips at about 1p on a Saturday. We looked at the menu near the podium and decided that we would splurge as a last hurrah for the end of our vacation. I'd been to Phillips in Baltimore before and expected a similar experience. Not so. There was no wait and our waitress was very good. However, we ordered the Cream of Crab soup ($8) which was lukewarm and nothing special. I ordered the Lobster Roll ($22), expecting great things. The presentation was a bit dramatic but it was basically a piece of white bread with some greens, a sauce and lobster claw meat. The price would have been fine if it had been good! I don't know what they did to the lobster, but it had hardly any flavor at all! I'll never do that again! We also had drinks, a Bloody Mary ($14) which was good, but super spicy at the bottom, and a Cucumber Cosmo ($14) which could be the best cocktail that I have ever had! We expected high prices from an airport restaurant, but the food was not up to par at all. We won't be back.

I had the seafood trio appetizer with a side salad and it was plenty to fill me up. Especially delish Bloody Mary that doubles as an appetizer with a fun garnish.

Shrimp and Grits were very good. Coffee could be better. My waitress, Demekia, did a great job. $23 breakfast is more than expected but it is good food in an airport. Facility appears to be clean and sanitary. Will be back for more.

We had an extended delay between flights and even though we ate dinner in the terminal, we eventually got hungry again! Happily, we saw Phillips Seafood where we each enjoyed a glass of chilled white wine and shared a plate of VERY tasty fries. The service was terrific, the food arrived quickly and we were totally happy with the experience. Well done Phillips!

Stopped and had dinner here during our layover at the airport. The food here is wonderful and the service was pretty good, and the drinks were even better, after a long flight. This place is worth a stop, you get healthy portions and the crab and seafood is wonderful.

As airport food goes, this is one of the best. Very much worth your time to go out to this terminal if you need food and have the time.

We were between flights in Atlanta and chose Phillips Seafood Grill on Concourse D. We had eaten here some years ago and recalled its excellence in seafood preparation (other types of food are available). Our service was a little slow, but the time of day was a major contributing factor - 3pm on a Monday. The chicken strips were excellent, and my wife's cream of crab soup was outstanding. Had we the time at a later moment in the evening, we would have happily ordered something of more substance, as we saw tantalizing platters of seafood being served all around us!

Before a July 2018 flight, we had time for a meal. The food was good. The staff moved us along at a reasonable pace. When the bill came, we gave 20% tip and left. In August, the credit card statement came. We had 2 charges from this restaurant for that day: one charge was WITH the tip and the second charge was WITHOUT the tip. I confirmed this with my receipts. I called and spoke to someone who identified herself as the manager. She was very articulate and apologetic. She sounded competent. She said there was a computer glitch which affected many customers and that I would be refunded within 3-5 days. She was also forwarding my information to the head office. She was so convincing! I put the receipts in a folder and laid all concerns aside. I didn't think of this again until I stumbled upon the receipts in the folder with my notes written on them (names, dates, comments, etc.). Fortunately, I don't put receipts in the trash until issues are resolved. So, when I found the receipts, I recalled that I didn't remember receiving a refund. I went online to check and the charges had been separated so that it looked like we had been there on two separate days. I called my credit card company and disputed the charge WITHOUT the tip. Was this theft? You decide.

I've enjoyed meals at other Phillips airport locations - namely Charlotte - so we decided to have lunch at this one in the Atlanta airport in Concourse D as a convenient and familiar choice. However, the first thing I saw were big pans of moules mariniere (mussels) steamed in a broth of white wine and garlic being served at various tables. It looked really good ... and was something I never saw in the CLT branch! (Sadly, we didn't get it this time around, but next time ... ) Indeed, this location had a much more extensive menu with items never showcased at the other one -- and seemed to be of a higher quality as well. I tried the crab bisque for comparison -- which I've always had at the CLT restaurant -- and it immediately popped with more flavor and body. We also shared some crisply fried calamari; and I had their lobster ravioli which came with pieces of lobster meat inside the tender pasta instead of a lobster puree. The only issue was that the ravioli was over-sauced -- the pasta was smothered in it (like a thick soup) and although the sauce tasted good, there was simply too much. My colleagues had the fish tacos and a tuna steak sandwich, respectively, and deemed them to be excellent as well. We were all very pleased with the meal at this particular Phillips and happy to have a new go-to spot in the future.

I popped in on a long layover at ATL. I was tasting this since I saw it the previous week while traveling through ATL. I ordered the Fish and Chips and had a side of mashed potatoes. All in all, the food was decent. The chips were seasoned waffle fries. The mashed yukon potatoes were delicious. Three pieces of fish were served. It was not flaky rather it was a little wet inside. It was still good. Just not to die for. The Baltimore location was much better. But I'd eat here again.

This place is hidden in the corner of terminal D. It is a good place to get dinner while waiting on a flight. The fish tacos are good and the waffle fries are enjoyable. The service was good. I think I have eaten in here before.

I will purposely scheduled my connecting flights through Atlanta, to indulge in Grits from Phillips, I only wish these chain of restaurants were established outside of major airports... so if you're looking for them on the outside, so sad, you may have to book a flight to enjoy great eats.... Girls, Raised, In, The, South (GRITS)....

The restaurant is located in Terminal D of the Atlanta airport There wasn't much decor; the tables were a little closer together than some diners might like (both of which we think should be expected at an airport restaurant) The server was friendly and reasonably attentive. There are a limited number of menu items that aren't seafood...which is to be expected at a seafood restaurant. The service was fairly quick...the food was very good. The prices weren't cheap, but were slightly less than we expected for a restaurant in the middle of a busy airport. Overall a good experience

In general, meh, but not a place we'd go to again. I got the shrimp and crab cake dinner with hush puppies and coleslaw. The shrimp... I expected a reasonable facsimile of nice, large, flaky fried butterflied shrimp like the pictures, and I got something like you'd get at a small family diner in a small town (small generic, cheap food service shrimp). Also, flavorless. The crab cake was fluffy (surprise!) and barely crisp on the outside. It was okay, and different in that it was fluffy but also kind of an odd flavor with a tang to it that I thought might be the ingredients (more on this later). The coleslaw was good, hush puppies were also good but were not cooked in hot oil as they were oily and just barely cooked through. My wife had a salad with grilled shrimp as there were few gluten free options so usually safe to get a salad. She said it was good, not special. Probably got cross-contaminated shrimp (from gluten) from how they were cooked or seasoned. Her pina colada was lacking any rum alcohol flavor and came as a mess. Do restaurants think this is awesome to send an overflowing sticky drink to a customer? Dumb. Basically, the price was too high and not reflective of the sit-down seafood restaurant in an airport. We had eaten earlier (very long layover) from one of non-sit-down places and it was way superior to Phillips. The waiter was good, but still didn't understand about standard procedures or presentation; basic stuff like asking to take the order, or being a concerned with timing, or messy drinks. Lastly, I got ill the next morning after getting home - about the right time, 9 hours after eating from Phillips, which was the last food I ate. The timing is typical of eating contaminated food. Can't say it was directly related, but...

We were both asked for our ID in order to place an order for a glass of beer and of wine. This is odd in that we are clearly seniors. The food was good. As we were not too hungry, we ordered from the appetizer menu. The seafood sampler was plenty, with some steamed veggies and a fruit plate added. Great spot with lots of windows in which to spend a few minutes. We were shown outlets where we could charge our phones, and the monitor where flights could be checked. Very friendly staff.

I enjoyed a quick meal between flights. The service was very good and the food was as well. I opted for an appetizer for mini crab cakes with sweet potato bites. The crab cakes and accompanying sauce were excellent and the sweet potato bites were a nice accompaniment. This was a nice alternative to the usual airport fast food.

I'm fine from Florida originally so pretty picky when it comes to seafood.. for an airport restaurant this place is pretty impressive. Bloody Mary is pretty good as well.

During a three hour layover in Atlanta airport, we chose this restaurant to eat prior to our flight to Italy. So glad we did; crab cakes were delicious although expensive but reasonable for airport food. Good service, nice selection to choose from

The service and food was very very good. The crab cake sandwich was the perfect portion before a long flight. The server was excellent and very professional.

I ordered the vegetable omelet, cut the peppers. The coffee was good, not great, and I am a coffee snob. The coffee mugs here are nonfunctional and frustrating. They do not fit fingers so the mug droops and you either burn the backs of your fingers or spill the coffee. Terrible experience. The meal came with awful seasoned potatoes that were soggy. The best toast was not buttered. The omelet was unbalanced with too much cheese and onions, not enough tomatoes and short on broccoli. They use red onion, and I don't care for it. Yellow tastes much better and is milder. The bacon was just right. I should've ordered lunch. Excellent service.

This place is fantastic! I grew up in Maryland and loved their crab cakes ! It totally made my day to stop here and the food was exactly the same! My server Lucious was a true gem! Definitely worth the stop!!

We ordered grilled salmon and grilled Mahi mahi. Both were excellent. The sides were very tasty grilled vegetables (carrots and broccoli) and mashed potatoes.

Probably the best meal I have ever had at an airport! The Fra Diavalo mussels were so good! The lobster ravioli is served in a lobster bisque and was equally delicious! Service was great!

Looked for a place for breakfast and Philips was great. Not the standard baked scrambled eggs but actually cooked to order eggs. I had eggs the way I wanted with sausage and toast, and my wife had an egg white cheese omelet. Both were great. A really good airport breakfast with outstanding service.

Like many of us, I had time to kill in the Atlanta airport. Phillips looked like a nice spot so I stopped in. My breakfast was very good. I had a crabcake and eggs and it was delicious. They keep the coffee coming and it was just a nice place for breakfast. The MMA on the TV was disconcerting, it was tough watching a guy get beaten to a pulp while having breakfast. Otherwise it's a nice place

Wow!! What an actual scam. I am traveling for business. So I have to have alcohol on a separate check from my food. I get two receipts at the restaurant. Pay for them with two separate cards. The receipts that I signed had one with only food and one with only alcohol. However, when I get home and get my receipts in my email. I have alcohol charges on BOTH receipts. Which is NOT what I signed. I would not sign. My company does not pay for alcohol. I checked my receipts carefully before signing them. Also I am being charged for a drink I did not order nor receive nor consume. What kind of petty fraud are yall pulling over there Philips Seafood??? And when i call customer service to get this fraudulent charge handled, I just get hung up on. This is probably the worst BS I have had to deal with ever for just ordering a meal in an airport.

On my way to Canada I had some time to spare waiting on my flight so I decided I would have dinner. I walked into Phillips Seafood because I love seafood. The service was great, they were efficient and the food wasn’t bad either. The Mahi-mahi was very well prepared didn’t like the cooked vegetables so much. It tasted like it came from one of those frozen packets. My sweet potato tots were very nice. I would definitely go back.

This was by far one of the best restaurants that i have ever been to inside a airport in my life. That being said i have traveled all over the world with the military. The restaurant was clean staff was very professional and the food was great. Stop by you wont be disappointed. Shout out to Johnny the bartender he was great!!!

I travel frequently and have low expectations of airport food and service, but was very pleased during my layover in Atlanta and the first time at Phillip’s Seafood. Food was very good (had the blackened shrimp and grits) and the service was spectacular. The friendly server took my order quickly, and my cold beer and hot food showed up within minutes. Better experience here than I had during my business trip!! Two thumbs up...

Phillips Seafood has great lobster rolls as well as fresh blue crab meat. It is a nice please to eat if you are on concourse D at Atlanta airport. They staff is very friendly and the food is 5 Stars. By Gregg L. Friedman MD

I’ve been meaning to try this place. The airport isn’t typically where you expect to find seafood. It was much better than expected. It wasn’t as good as seafood on the coast, but it was very good. I had the fried platter, and I would recommend it. The service was also quick. I would eat here again.

It’s an airport restaurant so it’s expensive for what you get but it was good. I had the Mahi with potatoes and a bowl of the crab soup. The soup had a decent amount of crab. The mahi was a little dry but I’m assuming it’s prepackaged and they simply heat it up. It still had good flavor and I enjoyed it. I didn’t care for the Yukon mashed potatoes. They were a little sweet for me.

A crab cake and a crab Cesar salad will brighten your day @ Phillips Sea food. The crab was tenser, juicy and complimented the Cesar salad .. ask for extra dressing!!! The staff are on point and the kitchen is slang'n some mean sea food....Love dem crab cakes ...lump crab and no filler

Staff was very friendly to us. We just decided to split the lobster roll, after traveling most of the day. Good stop, beer is cold to.

This was one of the few places that I could find a fresh to-go salad in the airport. Plus, for the big salad it was less than $7 which is super cheap for an airport. It was a great deal and filled with great lettuce, spring mix, and spinach.

Ate here due to arriving at the airport early. Was greeted by the very friendly staff. My partner and I had the cream of crab soup, which being from MD, was great. We also had the fish and chips along with the crab cakes sandwich. The food was fantastic and so was our waitress. Great experience.

I usually grab fast food when traveling through Atlanta airport, but this time i decided to try Philips Seafood. I am glad I did. I had the fish and chips, it came out nice and hot, the batter was nice and crisp, not soggy. My server was extremely nice. If i find my travels through Atlanta again I would definitely go here again.

I had plenty of time to make a connection after an overnight flight so I looked for a nice spot for breakfast. Phillips Seafood was the perfect option-- I could enjoy a nice hot breakfast and plenty of coffee. My server recommended the crab omelette, which was quite tasty. She even offered to swap the fruit side for sliced tomatoes when I asked her to please hold the fruit. Nice not to feel rushed-- I had a good meal and could amble over to the gate with plenty of time to spare.

I attempted to have a nice dinner before my flight. What a horrible experience at this location! It took forever for my waitress to take my order and bring my drink. I ordered the calamari for appetizer and the crab cake sandwich. After another 15 minutes, the waitress brought the calamari, the first 2 small pieces were fine, however, I took another piece which was huge. I bite a piece and it was frozen and raw. So what they did at the kitchen, they took the frozen calamari, put some bread on it and didn’t put it in the fryer long enough. I was completely disgusted. I called the waitress and showed her the huge raw chunks, she took it to the kitchen and I could see all staff looking at the plate and then looking at me. The waitress came back and apologized asking me if I wanted something else. I ordered a cup of soup, which was ok, nothing extraordinary. The crab cake was small and quite expensive, not a lot of flavor, too much bread. I have had crab cake sandwiches at other restaurants, the crab cakes are bigger and cheaper. I will definitely won’t go back to this restaurant.

I've been here twice and both times it was really good. The grilled fish tacos are a great meal, hearty but not heavy. While the waffle fries were an odd pairing. They were probably the best I've had in a while.

This restaurant at the Atlanta airport is a great place for a quick bite and delicious meal. I had the seared ahi with Cajun spices. Amazing! Service was friendly. Good selections of wines for an airier restaurant. Clean

This has been a tried and tested place for my Atlanta stopover flights. Today I had just about 25 mins to eat before I board my connection so I asked the gentleman welcoming guests at the door, agreed on the items which would fit my short halt and all worked out perfectly. I had a cocktail, soup and sandwich, basically a full meal in about 25 mins. I had tested their food quality several times and this time they passed on the time test. Thank you all on the floor plus the chefs inside the kitchen. Highly recommend this place for decent seafood in a relaxed as well as rush settings.

Every time I come to atlanta I make sure I stop here for my fish tacos and my margarita, there French fries are so delicious no ketchup or salt needed. Very service and atmosphere, wish there was one in my state.

The caesar salad with shrimp was so good I ordered a second one!!! I do intermittent fasting so in the eight hours of the day I consume food, I need it to be great. Airport food is hit or miss and always a risk if you do not have time to get something else. Lucious was an amazing server with great energy.

This was my 1st time at this restaurant at the Atlanta Airport. I had a 2 hour layover and had time to burn. The service was quick and efficient. I had the crispy fish tacos fish and they were extremely well done, crispy, and tender. I enjoyed my visit and will be back again.

It isn't often you find good food in an airport, but this was fantastic! We shared a crabcake platter and it hit the spot! The service was fabulous, quick and friendly. We enjoyed it so much, we hit it again on the way home!

A sit down restaurant in the middle of Terminal D - healthy, seafood, excellent staff (Johnny) and I had a lobster roll! I travel through ATL quite a bit and since I've discovered this place I will try to grab a bite there...even if my flight is not in Terminal D!

Found between connections and after being in the islands for 10 days wanted other than seafood which I usually enjoy, looked at the menu and they had a hamburger so I stopped in. They were not real busy and service was great and the hamburger was the better than burgers I have ordered from steak houses, if the burger is this good I plan on coming back on my next flight and enjoy their seafood. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and talked to the manager and they really take care of you.

Shakil waited on me. She was very professional and had a smile. I had the ham, bacon omelette. The portion size and the temperature of the food was excellent. The coffee was good and hot. Well Done!!! Keep up the good work.

This restaurant is located in terminal D at the center point and is worth traveling form the other terminals if you have the time. It has a good menu variety of seafood dishes. I had the Cream & Crab soup & it was full of crab & was delicious. I had the Lobster Roll & it was full of Lobster with a light dressing, delicious. My wife had the salmon & she loved it.

Lobster bisque soup & caesar salad with shrimp - both delicious & reasonably priced for airport location. Prompt service & convenient location near tram. I will definitely return.

Eight of us stopped into Phillips Seafood for a brief layover morning drink. Most of us ordered Blood Mary’s. The drinks were severed quickly from the bar. The house Bloody Mary was ample size and skewered with treats. I would have liked to try some seafood, but we did not have enough time. I will stop in here again.

We were passing through on our way home. Had a delay.in our flight and walked by the restaurant. Very fast service. Friendly staff. The food was amazing!! Will definately go back. Very reasonably priced too.

I was looking for a spot in the airport to eat where we could get some good seafood. Its often hard for us to find good seafood outside of New Orleans, but this place was pretty good. The crabcakes were all crabmeat and the food was decently seasoned and hot when we got it

I’m not usually keen on airport food, but a long wait for plane to arrive forced me to seek food. The Phillips Crab cakes are first-rate, excellent fare. Restaurant was Clean and offered wine selection and delicious vodka. Met by smiling and gracious staff certainly made this Airport provider of cuisine quite delicious.

I often eat in this restaurant when I pass through the Atlanta airport. The food is better than most airport restaurants. The service has always been exellent!

My husband and my oldest son stopped here for lunch while we were on our way to visit my youngest son in New York. The place wasn't packed when we walked in. The spices that they put on the fish were really good. The service was excellent. We were able to eat our meals before catching our next flight.

I was sceptical about the kind of seafood we'd get in an airport (especially after a week on the coast), but if you are at the Atlanta Airport, go here. We had the shrimp and grits and the crab cake sandwich which were both excellent. Splurge on the pecan pie. Our server was just lovely. This was an unexpected but wonderful surprise.

We visit every time we fly through the airport and our favorite server is Quanisha! She is pretty awesome and she is the reason we ALWAYS return :) also the clams lol

Stopped in at Phillips for a quick lunch between flights. Service was pretty steady and they got me in and out nice and quick. The tuna steak, which I had blackened, was perfectly cooked to a medium rare and very tasty. The pineapple salsa that I tried to pair it with was delicious, but better on its own than with the fish if I'm honest. The veggies were fresh, and the hushpuppies were different than I am used to, but still good. I got cheesecake on the recommendation of my server, and while it was okay, it was really quite overpriced for cheesecake. Overall, I'd still recommend stopping in for lunch here, but maybe skip the dessert.

The calming sea blue interior , and picturesque windows of Phillips Seafood Restaurant make it a great spot to have a drink or something to eat when waiting for a flight. Staff appeared attentive to customers .My server Fernando, was engaging and pleasant, and helpful too. This relaxing spot was an enjoyable reprieve in an otherwise hectic though lovely airport. Cheers Atlanta !

Atira took care of me while I visited Phillip's Seafood in the ATL Airport. She was good, but not great. Had to wait for a refill a couple times. Food was slow to arrive. Food was mediocre. Sometimes I wish I could go out to a restaurant, and be served my own food, that I prepare at home. Quality is never as good at restaurants as when I make it myself at home...

Our server, Lucious, made us feel welcome as soon as we were seated. He was able to discuss the menu items and took time to do that. What a pleasure to not be rushed to place an order. We enjoyed an appetizer and dinner. This is a place we’ll gladly return to when we fly through Atlanta again.

Everytime I layover in ATL I go to Phillips. They get you in and out without a problem. One of the best parts is that it's seafood so it's some what healthy for airport food!

I always enjoy having a nice place to eat at the airport. I ordered the seafood sampler and I was shocked at the large amount of good on my plate! This was a great deal and yummy food!

The food at Phillips is delicious but the service is what made our experience outstanding. We had Quanisha as our server and she was one of the most personable servers we have ever had. We have all worked in the restaurant industry so we know good service when we receive it. Quanisha was absolutely wonderful and made our short dining experience at Phillips amazing!

The food was quite good, but my server Quanisha made my experience great! She never made me feel like I was taking up her table even though I had a very long layover. Instead, she did everything she could to ensure I had the best experience possible. Will definitely be back!

A Delta Airlines employee asked us how he could help and we asked for nearby decent restaurants on concourse D. He guided us to a seafood restaurant and to our delight, the fish were excellent. We had fish taco with Mahi Mahi and a Mahi Mahi sandwich. Both were of a par you would find at a good seafood restaurant in the Gulf South. Service was quick and friendly. We had the aforementioned dishes plus two bottles of water, for $38.62. It was a great break to her travels of the day. Whenever we find ourselves with a half hour or more to spare in concourse D, we'll stop by.

Their fish and chips platter is so good and the everything was seasoned so well. Try the lobster chowder and crab chowder they are both good. U don't get enough though for $8.00 I think it's a rip off frankly but it's so good. Lol. Serve is usually always fast if ur limited for time and staff is always friendly. The crab cakes are good but could be a little cruncher ( cooked just a tab bit longer). But I always have a wonderful experience and good eating.

I had a layover in ATL on my way to Gainesville, FL. Decided to try Phillips Seafood. First time trying this restaurant. Had broiled mahi- mahi, waffle fries, and cole slaw. Food was good, service great. I ate at the bar rather than wait for a table. I like seafood and considering the restaurant was in an airport, it was surprisingly good and not too expensive.

I visited while on a layover in ATL (it's right at the top of the escalator, coming off of the inter-terminal train, in D). I had low expectations in an airport & I was pleasantly surprised for both food & service. I added a little bit to the rating because of the location; it would be about a half-grade lower outside of the airport. Still pretty good & worth seeking out in ATL. I will be tucking this one away for my next ATL layover.

Good food, great service and quick turn around on the orders. If you have a layover in Atlanta or have time to visit before taking your next trip you won't be disappointed at Phillips...unless you're looking for cheap eats...this is a $$ venue. An added plus to this restaurant is the view of planes taking off from the tarmac while you dine.

Whenever I have a 2 hr or longer layover in Atlanta I always make my way to concourse D to eat here. The blackened Mahi is outstanding! And the Phillips Cole Slaw is really unique and tasty! Be sure to ask for Shaniya, she's been a waitress for 29 years and she's fantastic!!! The restaurant is pretty, clean and has a great view of the tarmac.

I have been here over the last 2 years and the food and service is excellent, rain or shine, if you were expecting a great seafood meal, then Phillips Seafood is your place. Beautiful little bar, with sports on along with beer, and cocktails.Nice window views a little haven from the bustle of the airport, if you do not have time, you can order to go.

First of all, good service. Thank you Kashmere for being so helpful and fun! Ordered a seafood platter and love the crab cake! Very hearty! This meal makes a long haul flight and the long wait for a connecting flight much more tolerable!

We had almost 2 hours between planes this morning and decided to eat breakfast at Phillips Seafood, Concourse D (Center Point) and am I glad we did. My husband had a crab meat omelet with home fries (the server called it hash browns, but where I come from they are HOME FRIES) and little tiny red pepper pieces and multi-grain toast. I had the Crab Cake with poached eggs, home fries and multi-grain toast. Both dishes were excellent. Service was excellent.

With all the good restaurants in Atlanta, oddly enough, you have to go to the airport to find a good crab cake! Being from Maryland, I seldom try crab cakes when I’m traveling outside the state because they are usually full of filler and don’t measure up. But, if you see the Phillip’s name you can count on a good crab cake.

was between flights @ ATL airport & saw this restaurant so decided to stop by. got burger and schrimp lunch....awful....that's all i should say

I had the shrimp salad it was just what I expected. Yolanda was an amazing bartender, on top of everyone's orders and so polite. A great experience in a place where people are usually impatient and stressed. Very happy!

First a shout out to Yolanda who was my awesome bartender/server. I ordered calamari and it came in a paper lined cone which was then poured out onto my plate. Lo and behold, the bottom half were waffle fries. Felt like I was shorted calamari. Salmon was flavorful but not hot. Mashed taters were tasty and scalding (my preference). Salad was so so. With one beer, total was $44 before tip. Pricey. But I'm in an airport and we all know about airport pricing. All in all, a very nice meal.

Crab cakes were exceptional and they had steamed seasonal vegetables so I was able to get what seemed like a pretty healthy meal in the airport. I recommend eating here when you are in the airport. The servers were kind of not around much even with it not being busy so you need to be assertive and go out of your way to ask for things like water to drink and refill, check, etc.

Crab omlet is very good. Potatoes ok. Coffee good. Nice breakfast between flights. Restaurant also has a flight schedule screen behind the bar that is helpful

Enrique was our server. He was extremely helpful and efficient. The cream of crab soup was divine. The fish and chips were OK - very crispy but not much flavor. I enjoyed my salad with the crispy shrimp

I stopped into Phillips with the intent to eat and have a beer. No one was at the greeter podium so I seated myself near the bar to which a waitress was visibly upset that I would make an executive decision with a lack of direction. The bartender came and reluctantly brought a meanie and got my drink order. His beer deliver was my last interaction with the staff. No refills, no food order, no request to pay my bill. I could have walked out and not been noticed. I took a full hour to drink my beer, nothing. I eventually got the attention of the hardest working lady in the place and she cashed me out. Sad, it looked like it had potential. I saw other customers leave from a lack of service.

Enjoyed my lobster roll and my wife enjoyed here fish and chips. Located in terminal D. Good choice for an airport restaurant. Service was fast and food was good.

Fortunately had plenty of time due to flight delay . Time around 8 p.m Tried to order three items on menu didnt have .Had to settle for the fried seafood sampler from the appetizer menu .Might as well have ordered deep fried batter what ever was inside [ if anything ] was long disintegrated and unrecognizable as it was dark brown .Obviously oil needed changing . also ordered a crab soup barely warm and Im sure been around for most of day . Thank goodness I order a wine . Bill was $40 for something inedible . Even had I wanted to I had no time to refuse by time served . To my waiter kudos there were 5 young men on their way to Boot Camp in the restaurant and he was very attentive and kind . I shall not return

I always allow extra time between flights so that I can have lunch or dinner at Phillips. The atmosphere is great, the staff very friendly, accommodating and efficient and the food is fantastic. Been there several times - Felix is my favorite waiter. One of my go to meals is the grilled salmon with garlic mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables of carrots, whole green beans and sliced red pepper. Squeezed in dessert this time of chocolate bundt cake - Hmmmm good. Suggest you put Phillips on your bucket list when travelling through the Atlanta Airport.

For a restaurant inside Atlanta airport, I was totally impressed with the quality of food, and the reasonable price. I had the lobster ravioli and a 20 oz beer, and it was under $30. The lobster ravioli was amazing! I loved it! Service was friendly and efficient. It was a definite plus to enjoy an outstanding meal at the airport.

Swishing thru the Atlanta airport a staple of reliable seafood is this stop however; it amazes me how quickly a bowl of lobster bisque cools. Bu the time it is half eaten it is not even luke warm... cold and jellied. Charging at tables is a good thing.

First time to the restaurant. The crab cakes were good with chunks of crabs that you can see. The Diem Sum had 6 small pieces, below average. Nice to sit in a restaurant for some seafood.

I had some time for a light snack waiting to go on the next leg of my flight. I had the clam chowder and it was very good. The staff was attentive and friendly.

We stopped here for breakfast between flights very friendly fast service The breakfast was very good Highly Recommend

We had some time to kill at the airport and checked out all of the different options, deciding on Phillips Seafood. I couldn't have been happier that we did. The food was fantastic, although I did get the burger instead of seafood. I love a good burger and this one was excellent. More impressive was the quality of service. The waiter was so friendly and attended to every detail. I wish I could remember his name, but he was a gentleman from Texas. The manager stopped by to talk to us and she was extremely friendly as well. I can't say enough good things about this visit. Highly recommend!

Truth be told, the food is only mediocre but the service....the service is outstanding. These waiters and waitresses are everywhere, joking and laughing with the customers. After flying all day, I couldn't care less about a gourmet meal but give me a caring, Sympathetic human being who is working hard to decrease my stress level and I'm sold. The hostesses seated me in seconds and the waitress was at my table within a couple of minutes. Raven the waitress is as good as any five star restaurant waiter. I commend the supervisors for the most pleasant dining experience at Atlanta- Hartsfield Airport and Raven for saying she was going to take care of me and she did. Great experience !

Very Good for airport food. Try the clam chowder (or the Lobster Bisque or She Crab soup) with some hush puppies. It's enough for any appetite and the hush puppies have that sweetness that makes them so good!

Just because the restaurant is at an airport doesn't mean it should have lower standards. The food was only average, not much taste to it. The service was forced. The waitress was acting like she had come in on a long flight! Wish we had spent our money elsewhere.

I totally enjoyed eating at Phillips Seafood. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the menu items. My selection was fresh, hot and timely. I started with the Lobster Bisque which was so good that I just had to have the Cream of Crab Soup, and then I took another serving of the Lobster Bisque home with me. There were many good sounding menu items. Any time I fly through Atlanta, this will be where I eat. In the meantime, I will be try various recipes to attempt replication.

This is not what you expect at an airport restaurant southern hospitality and good. We ordered the salmon and mahi mahi and both were fresh and grilled perfectly. Our server Lucious was amazing and provided great southern hospitality. The crab cakes on the seafood sampler appetizer were excellent. As a Maryland native I will endorse the crab cakes with a reccomendation. This is great place to dine while passing through the airport.

Had a little time to kill prior to my flight and right beside my gate stood Phillips Seafood. I had spent the last 4 hours in the Admirals Club so I was not too hungry but the Lobster Bisque beckoned me!!! It was great, with a great NZ SB to drink with it. My server was Brianna and she was so personable and nice and so attentive and got me my drinks, food, and check super quick!!! A great experience and I also had a great dialog with the two greeters at the entrance of Phillips!! Don't know their names but they were fun to talk with about traveling the world!!!! Cool place!!!!

Dined here on a layover home from a mother-daughter trip. The restaurant at our destination was out of the steamed shrimp my daughter wanted (the night before), so I found this seafood place as an alternative, since we were going to be waiting anyway. Everything was good. She got the steamed shrimp. It wasn't the Cajun style we're used to (we're Southerners) but once you understand it's New England style, you can appreciate it. I had the Seafood Sampler but I subbed the fried shrimp for grilled shrimp. I enjoyed it and the calamri was delicious, the battering was seasoned very well and came with a chili dipping sauce. The Blue Crab Margarita cocktail was great! It was a lovely meal overall. I'd dine here again if waiting in Atlanta airport again. The staff was very friendly too.

Shrimp salad was good just on the small side for the price. It is in the airport though so no deals there anywhere.

Good, fresh seafood, served quickly with nice polite service. Nothing too fancy or over the top, just good and basic.

Good stop for food in Terminal D. Great service! Seafood options sounded great, but we were in a red meat mood. Their burgers are wonderful!

We had a layover in between flights and weren’t overly thrilled with the snacks in the airline lounge, so went looking for something else. We found it at this restaurant, which has a good selection of seafood dishes as well as non seafood items. My husband had grilled salmon and fresh vegetables and I tried the grilled fish tacos. Both dishes were good. Not haute cuisine but good food. Service was excellent - very friendly and on top of beverage refills. This restaurant is tucked into an alcove of terminal D but has a nice view of the planes and a full bar. We would return.

Like all airport food it was way over priced. Our server was good, but I felt bad for him trying to serve with no room to move because the tables are so close together. We had the fish & chips. The worst part of the meal was the containers it was served in. Made it almost impossible to eat. The fish was on the greasy side from not draining. My husband had a Bloody Mary and said it was really good.

This Phillip's was exactly what we needed during our lay over in Atlanta. Hot seafood and drinks served in a timely manner made our lay over pass very quickly. The waiter was excellent and the food was hot and tasty. Try any of the seafood items and enjoy Phillip's.

Made a detour from terminal E to terminal D to find better food and chanced across Phillips Seafood. Helpful, friendly staff. Fast service. Delicious, fresh, piping hot grilled salmon with pineapple salsa and grilled veggies. Absolutely perfect late afternoon meal en rt to connecting flight.

This is what airport restaurants should be like! Outstanding food, great service, and quick turnaround. I had the lobster bisque and maybe the best grilled fish tacos I’ve ever had. Lulu was charming and welcoming. I only wish I could have stayed longer, but alas my flight was boarding!

Red Sangria was delicious and packed a punch. Service was friendly and attentive. Main course was perfectly portioned, perfectly cooked, and perfectly... delicious! Almost worth flying Delta ;)

Whenever I have a 2 hour layover or longer at ATL I come to the D terminal just to eat here! The food is tasty, healthy and beautifully prepared. The blackened salmon is fantastic!!!!

Didn't know they had breakfast, thought it was only seafood. We were pleasantly surprised. Great eggs, sausage and home fries. Service was quick and very pleasant. Latasha was great. Check them out.

Ordered fried shrimp and a fish sandwich. Food was decent but the service lacked. Service was a little slow for airport food service.

Hubby and I were here for a layover in ATL. I had a crab cake and grilled shrimp platter with the waffle fries and coleslaw. The food was served hot and very well prepared. I must say that I had my doubts initially about eating here - because I have eaten at the Phillips in Baltimore's inner harbor on many occasions, and thought that it would not measure up - but this is not your typical "airport fare". Food and service (thank you Amber) were exceptional. (You will be paying "airport" prices though, so be ready for that...)

Mediocre food, slow service, high prices, no ambience. I love seafood and I keep trying to like this place in the Atlanta airport, but it never fails to disappoint. There are better choices nearby.

With a flight delayed for a couple of hours, I explored the airport and happened upon this seafood restaurant tucked away in the corner. At first I thought it was too crowded and I was gonna get my food later than I wanted too, but I stuck it out and got seated. No regrets!!! My waitress was fantastic and I didn't wait long at all, therefore decided on some fabulous desert before I left as well. Fantastic, I couldn't even/didn't want to finish it so I saved a little for my return to Texas! Job Well Done Philips Seafood, a satisfied customer who will look forward to dining again in the future!!

We were connecting through ATL and had time for dinner. A lot of the places were already closed so we decided to try Phillips. I'm glad we did! The food was good. I would certainly go back.

First time here. Busy restaurant but food came very quickly. Friendly greeter, server, staff. Quick, efficient service. It’s not Bonefish, but for airport food, it was ok. Nice view of airplanes coming and going. Full bar. 6 TV screens. Light music in the background. Not too loud to have a conversation. Have a gluten free menu. Lobster bisque was excellent (according to the lady sitting next to me) and on the other side of me, the gentleman had swordfish which was good but petite. My salmon and mashed potatoes were fine.

Traveling through ATL terminal D and found Phillips Seafood. Wait staff was excellent, cheerful and helpful. Food was real nice and well prepared. Quick! Cheese grits with Gouda cheese, crab meat omelet, Bloody Mary to celebrate first day of vacation all excellent. Clean facility with a nice view of airport operations. You will not be disappointed!

Waiting for a flight i decided to eat at hits this seafood restaurant and i was not disappoint. I ordered the fish and chips and it was unique and delicious. The wait staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and kind.

Had an hour in between flights so we stopped in for lunch. I ordered the crab cake sandwich and it was pretty good. No complaints. Service was good too.

Dinner at Phillips was very good. The staff was friendly and helpful. There are lots of windows letting in light (I like that). My grilled chicken sandwich was excellent and the crispy waffle fries were good.

My husband and I shared the butterfly shrimp with hush puppies and cole slaw and were very happy. The shrimp was good and it was great to have something special when waiting for our next airplane.

Great service from our server, Amber. Offered samples of each soup to help us decide. Gave us a military discount without our asking. Seated at table near plugs at our request. Nice view to watch planes take off. Would come back again.

Fish tacos were very acceptable, wine was good but a bit overpriced (but, hey, it is an airport). Our concern was that service was slow, and it was difficult to get our server's attention when we had to leave due to having to board a plane. I'd recommend this place for travelers who definitely have too much time on their hands.

This is my second visit to this location. Staff is very courteous and professional. Service is prompt! I recently enjoyed the Crab Cobb Salad and added a salmon filet grilled rare. The salad is artfully arranged and consists of multiple wedges of crisp iceberg lettuce separated by lump crab meat, chopped tomato, sliced avocado, chopped egg, and fresh chopped bacon. The salmon was perfectly prepared. Hakim was my server and was attentive. Full bar is available.Recommended

Had a pleasant dinner here between flights. The menu had a range of prices. I chose a fish and chips dinner. The fish pieces were some of the best I have had. The waffle fries were very good, especially with the featured dipping sauce. Service was reasonably quick.

Phillips never fails to please our palates. Husband had the Mahi, waffle fries & cole slaw. I had the mussels. Everything was brought to the table quickly and tasted wonderful.

I was impressed by the friendliness of the hostess. She seated me and then, seeing more comfortable spot, relocated me. The server was quite efficient and nice. The shrimp and grits were very good - just spicy enough and the grits were creamy. This restaurant is a good selection as airport food goes. It is down around the corner in Concourse D, at the crossover and well worth finding. Will go back for another list if time allows.

We were flying in from Denver with a 3 hour layover. Phillips was in our concourse. When we were seated our server came by table to greet us. She was very friendly and helpful when we were trying to decide on what to order. She recommended the New England Clam Chowder. It was good. We split the Fish and Chips and it was plenty for the two of us. NOTE: for typical airport food it was pleasing a surprise good. We will definitely try next time in the airport if we have a long layover.

Wanted to grab a quick meal before catching my connection. This place was terrific. Food was very good and for an airport was reasonably priced. I got a grilled fish plate with two sides and s drink. The service was again very good for an airport place and they understand that they need to be on top of everything as folks are always on their way for a flight. I would go back to this place next time I am passing through.

They have upped their game. Fish and other meals were very tasty. This is in the airport. We definitely will be back. Cheers!!!!

We stopped for a quick bite during our layover & were very pleased with the service and the food quality. The place was busy, but we were able to order quickly & didn't wait very long for our food. I will definitely stop there again on future trips through Atlanta.

Good lunch, lobster roll was tasty. dim sum appetizers were good. service by brianna was very good and friendly! good experience!

We always stop at Phillips Seafood in Terminal D in Atlanta Airport. Great food and service! I just stopped there on business, had a great meal and then things went bad! The bill was $32, and I left two twenty dollar bills under check holder; then left for my flight. My waiter chased me down the concourse, to accuse me of not paying my bill! I told him it was in the check holder and he said it wasn’t! I insisted on taking him back to my table, with him saying that somebody could have stolen it! It did not think that was possible or probable! We arrived at my table and I picked up the check holder, and there were the two 20s! He never apologized and let me walk off shaking my head without even following! I was embarrassed and disappointed! Never, ever been treated like that in Phillips over a long time. Now, here is what he should have done. First, he should have looked under the check before he jumped to a false conclusion. Second, when he found that he had made a serious mistake, he should have offered a public apology. Phillips deserves better than this!

Most places in ATL are crowded, and the service is poor at best. This place has great servers, friendly attitude and good food that won-t bankrup you.

I typically visit One Flew South for a meal at ATL. I wanted a salad before a Delta flight and tried Phillips Seafood. The salad was reasonable and the service was alright. I probably wouldn’t return foot another meal if the restaurant was downtown. However, I might return the next time I’m hungry in Concourse D.

Wife and I ate here on our way back back home from the Bahamas. She had the cream of crab soup and the fried seafood sampler, I had the angus burger. Iced tea and soda to drink. Good service.

Phillips always has good seafood, even in ATL airport. I had the grilled mahi fish tacos - very good.

Staff was friendly and quick. Crab cake and shrimp.were good, though shrimp was very small. I expected more than 5 shrimp and 1 crab cake for 30 dollars though. Cole slaw and fries were inedible. Overall will not probably return.

Wow, this place is the shizzle, super surprised and happy. Our server was Conchett, she is amazing, super sweet and very professional. The food coming out of the kitchen looked incredible. We had a platter of grilled seafood and it was so good. We will definitely be back. Service, food, and prices are very good here, with excellent selections on the menu for everyone. Go check it out.

Airport food is always if-y. this place looked pretty good so I gave it a try. Phillips Seafood, Atlanta Airport is a high quality place to get fresh fish. I got the Crab Cake and thought it was great. Service (delivery of food to table) was a little slow for an airport.

Was surprised to find they served breakfast and it was pretty good. Also reasonable for an airport. Service was good as was the French Toast.

great crab bisque served to me by Johnny, the bartender while waiting for my connection to St Louie, I was really hungry. Didn't want breakfast, he told me soup was hot and ready, and it didn't disappoint!! Service, quality of food was outstanding. I'll be back on my way home to Florida!

For those times when you have a long layover at an airport, it's nice to have "real" restaurant options. ATL concourse D off Phillips Seafood. It's located in the center of the concourse, so it's fairly quick to get to eat from the other concourse, just up the escalator from the tram below. I recommend The Sampler, which includes shrimp, mini-crab cakes, calamari and sweet potato fries...$15. TIP: If you're concerned about your connection time, tell your sever, they'll put your order to the front of the queue.

Family friendly, easy airport stop eith great views of the planes & runways. Entrees were good, wait time minimal. Would definitely repeat again when at the airport in the future.

Excellent stop at ATL. Fairly quick service and good food. I had the fish tacos fried and DH had the ahi tuna dinner Both were very good. The coleslaw was creamy

Is always a hassle but stopping into Phillips seafood for a bowl of yummy soup and a generous glass of wine can make it bearable! Located in concourse d I highly recommend Phillips seafood! You won't regret it!

My husband and I both had the salmon dinner with mashed potatoes that tasted like diner food. The salad was fresh and we asked for dressing on the side. It was better than fast food but much more expensive.

Last reviewed in DEC 2017. Just had a salad with crab meat added - quite good. Service average. Quite, not rushed.

Our server rescued our visit with her recommendations. I didn't catch her name but she definitely steered me away from the crab soup. The bisque I chose instead was very good. It was a subtle steer but much appreciated. One must now ask, what is wrong with the crab soup? I will not know thanks to her.

I travel through ALT very often and this restaurant is really good with good food and good service at a reasonable price. Today I had the seafood platter and it was really good. Crab cakes, shrimp and slaw were my favorite.

We enjoyed crab cakes and the crab cobb salad during a layover. We enjoyed it. Very tasty and reasonable for airport food.

We had a long wait between flights so we decided to eat something besides fast food. We ordered an appetizer of calamari, shrimp and mini crab cakes along with fried sweet potato pieces. Crab cake was the best. Didn’t care for the way the calamari was fried. Shrimp were ok. Didn’t care for tartar sauce, not a homemade taste at all. The shrimp and grits were pretty good and the seafood combo was ok, again the crab cake was the best out of this combo.

I've passed by thus place a number of times and finally decided to give it a try, and I'm glad I did. I was seated immediately with a smile. The restaurant is very clean, and even has a nice view of the tarmac. I got the salt and pepper calamari which I must say has more sustenance to it that at most restaurants. It was chunky and not just batter. The lobster roll was very good. I will say if you're a big eater, make sure to get an appetizer too as the sandwich is more about quality than quantity. Servers stopped to see how I was doing probably a dozen times. I always had a full drink. I asked for the check, and had it 30 seconds later. A recommended stop to eat for sure in D Terminal at the Atlanta airport.

Had lunch here before a flight. Quick and attentive service. Lobster rolls and fries were really good. A little pricey, but it beats a lot of the other airport restaurants.

We had a few hours before heading to Rome and were pretty hungry. My wife had an urge for seafood (yeah right...at the airport). But we know the Philips brand and just hoped for the best. Well we were very happily surprised. We both had the fresh tuna - mine blackened, Vicki’s grilled. Both were excellent and perfectly cooked. I also had the Cream of Crab soup which our server, Lucious recommended and he was spot on. Thick and tasty. Don’t bothering getting their signature Bloody Mary. It’s $14 and not anything special. All in all though this was superb.

The place is always very busy which is understandable because it has good food and the seating area is small. Had the crab cake sandwich and would recommend it without reservation. All crab and no filler that I could detect. The prices are on the more expensive side. Service is very good considering the location and the clientele is transitory.

We had enough time between flights for a quick meal. We went to Phillips Seafood and got seated quickly. My crab cakes were great but the fries were only good. Thankfully we were done and on our way in under 30 minutes.
Nice seafood spot in the airport
Reasonably priced food, generous portions and tasted good too! Didn't really expect this from an airport restaurant. Excellent service too!
