I currently live in Atlanta,GA. Could not wait to go home to Philly to go to the pretzel factory. You get 4 piping hot pretzel and any kind of dips or mustards for a buck! I end up buying 20 that day to share and I was in heaven! Very friendly staff and fresh cheap pretzels.

Besides having amazing pretzels. Their spicy mustard is my favorite mustard in the world. Even better than Germany. Buy them every time I'm in town. Like to wait to eat them though. When they're really hot, it's kinda toasty. Like to let them cool for an hour or so and eat 'em warm and chewy. PS, girl at the counter in South Philly is very funny, cynical. Just like I like 'em

Very good. stopped in in the way to a concert at the Kimmel Center. Fresh, warm, just the right amount of salt, and much less costly than the pretzels they sell at intermission. Kept our 9 year old quiet and attentive during the concert. Philly Pops concert was great too.

They make pretzels fresh daily. The pretzels are great, and they they 3 different types of mustards to choose.

Tasty soft pretzels - little bit of a crunch on the outside, nice and soft inside. And thankfully not greasy on the outside. Will be back again next time we're in Philly.

I like these pretzels but don't absolutely love them. To me they are not so amazing that I would go out of my way to get these particular pretzels, but when it's convenient, it's a good place to stop for a pretzel. The cheese sauce has a tiny bit of a kick, which is nice. Oh and they're mustard is really good!

My husband is from Philly and is always craving authentic Philly Pretzels. OK... so we're in Philly, only to find that the street vendors no longer seem to sell pretzels!! Horror!! So we got on our iPads and searched around until we found the Philly Pretzel Factory. We went to the location at 1532 Samson. The pretzels were perfect. Warm and tasty. Got our baker's dozen and were on our way. Packed the leftovers in bags in our suitcases and when we got home, they were still really good!

Great pretzels, sometimes they can be hard and cold though. The staff are fast and friendly. KimsEbox

Since my daughter started school in Philadelphia, this has become a must stop on our visits. Did you know this is a chain? We buy a bunch and share them with our neighbors at home. Plus we snack on them on the car ride home. and guess what? they offer a great platter with dip if you have a bunch of people coming over. Something a little different and delic.

This has to be must stop while in Philadelphia. Excellent, quick service, hot pretzels Philly style. Absolutely perfection.

We loved the prices and we loved the pretzels... I never knew Philly was known for anything other than cheesesteaks!

Being ex Philadelphian residents for 30 years, we had to take pretzels home to Florida. Authentic, for sure, right out of the oven and I think it was at least 20 to 25 pretzels for the price you would pay for 4 at the airport. We gave some away, and we froze some for my husband to eat later. They were great.

I'm not sure if I have the right location, but the one I visited is on terminal F at the Philly airport. They were ready for an early crowd and had premise several pretzel bagel sandwich with egg and bacon (or sausage). As a result it was not hot and was a bit dry but was tasty. Reasonable prices and quick service too!

I moved from the Philly area several years ago and really miss Philly soft pretzels. I ordered 10 of these on line and was really disappointed. They don't taste at all like the pretzel that I remember.

Whether you find yourself at the Frankford Ave location or downtown, the Pretzel Factory is quite delicious and is VERY affordable. There has only been one instance that I can remember where the pretzels weren't the freshest but even so, they were miles about any other pretzel I've had. You will be delighted by the varieties of shapes, sizes, and sauces if you are into trying new things (the pretzel-wrapped hotdog comes to mine). However, if you are more traditional in regards to pretzels, you still will not be disappointed by the quality, price, and taste. Absolutely delicious. The staff is also very welcoming at the Frankford Ave location specifically.

We never miss an opportunity to grab some pretzels from this place whenever we can. Eat them hot, with a touch of mustard. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, they are great ! ! Totally different from Auntie Ann's and much better in my opinion. Where Auntie Ann's are going for close to 3 dollars apiece we found these selling 20 for 5 dollars. Can't beat that.

I was surprised at the variety of choices at the the Pretzel Factory. They have more than just old fashion Philly pretzels. Worth the trip.

Had connecting flight in PHL and made certain we stop at the Pretzel Factory in Terminal 5. Service was quick and pretzels were served up warm and tasty--just like we remembered. Bought six for the flight home and a couple for later. Made the trip worthwhile.

This places focuses on nothing but producing the best pretzels in Philly. Particularly noteworthy, you can call ahead on the big orders and they are always fresh and ready. Love this place.

Had two pretzels on the way through Philadelphia Airport (PHI) and loved the soft, salty, chewy treat. Liked 'em so much stopped on our return through PHI and stocked up--bought 13 of those tasty delights with a bottle of brown spicy mustard. Carried them home to FL to freeze 'em and devour them over time. They were as good as we remember them back in our youth!

This place is my favorite pretzel place ever! They got amazing pretzels for the cheapest price! One time i got 25 pretzels for 9 bucks:O if you got 25 pretzels in New York they would cost 30 BUCKS!! i love this place (.) there is alot of those pretzel places but one of them was closed on a Saturday! i have a secret for you secretly right now (when i am writing this review) i am eating one of their pretzels! YUM IT IS!!the pretzels are warm and delicious! Bye Josh dunford (who is 11)

I am a orginal Philadelphian I use to go to the pretzel street vendor it was great I am now in florida for 18 yrs a store openened here however here, its more like a bread stick very doughie not the traditional shape ( quacker, shape of a childs arms folded in prayer) and pretzel are too thick I was told the style of pretzel is because of the smaller oven because this is a kiosk too bad because the pictures of the traditional pretzels look very good, I have found traditional style pretzel. Philly Pretzel factory if you cant do it right down here then dont do it at all JK

Great Philly pretzel. Freshly baked and salted just right. Crisp exterior, soft, warm and chewy interior. Not much to write about a pretzel and I had apprehension about eating a "chain" pretzel, but it was really good. $2 for 5 pretzels at a minimum.

The pretzels here can be compared to frozen pizza. The other reviews are either fake or they have never had a real pretzel before.

Stopped here first as part of a food tour and had to return. The cheesesteak pretzels are THAT good! Also tried the hot dog and sausage pretzels, both good in their own way. Definitely worth a visit.

Usually a very good stop.. warm and fresh salted pretzels, on some occassions, you'll get a not so fresh batch, however if you ask first, they'll be happy to make you fresh pretzels which are well worth the wait. Friendly, quick staff, reasonably priced and 'specials' at certain times too.

Read about these pretzels so had to try for myself. Good but not great. Service was exceptional. Pretzel was not as fresh as I had thought it would be.

Eating hot pretzels right out of the oven are a real treat. The Pretzel Factory offers an affordable selection with free condiments. We had enjoyed these on previous occasions at a stadium, but just out of the oven is a whole new experience!

First off, they don't even give you a whole pretzel; it's half a pretzel. Second, the half pretzel wasn't even hot. Third, there was barely any salt on it. And if you want mustard, they charge you 50 cents!

The pretzels are extremely fresh! They werent too soft and not too hard. Even the pretzels with little to no salt had a salty taste within the bread. Seriously, add the cheese sauce it is beyond wonderful! I truly wish we had one in Central Florida!

Love these pretzels, always hot from the oven, perfectly salted, and a real deal! I brought these home to my husband and he was returned to childhood with one bite!

Fresh soft pretzels every day...You can't beat that...and they ship anywhere if you're jonsing. And there's several locations around the city

I am a Philly guy, born and raised. The main staple to my diet growing up was soft pretzels. I no longer live in Philly, but whenever I am home, for business or pleasure, my first stop is to Philly Pretzel Factory. The pretzels are soft and hot, with juast the right amount of salt. Reminds me of when I got my pretzels from the newsstand on Braod and Snyder before catching the Broad street Line to Olney Ave on my way to Central High School. Every morning had to have my pretzel and Daily News on my way to school.

I was dying for a Philly pretzel and bought one here. It was cold and not very tasty. With a name like Philly pretzel company you would expect fresh homemade pretzels. What a disappointing experience. On a food note my son did enjoy his pretzel hotdog.

This place is fantastic. The staff is friendly and courteous. The designs for Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day and Christmas are great. Love to get 50 and freeze them. The steak in the pretzel is a winner

I actually go to the location in Samson and 16th. And I will get these pretzels when I'm out at other places. Not just best pretzel but best bargain in town! Hands down best pretzel anywhere! I've had the plain and with mustard as traditionally done. However, I've made my own toppings too. Cinnamon sugar, chocolate, and honey all do well. Waaaaaay better than NYC pretzels too! ( I lived there and know) If you take advantage of some of the deals you end up with a lot of pretzels! No worries! I freeze mine and then microwave in a paper towel. Many locations including street fairs and tour locations.

Yummiest n tastiest n most reasonable pretzels ever eaten.wonderfully located next to oyster house.a must to visit n eat there n pack lots for home.

Philly Pretzel Factory is the largest Philly style soft pretzel bakery with over 100 locations. They hand twist every pretzel. There are a variety of pretzels to choose from including Cinnamon, Cheesesteak, Pretzel Dogs and Spicy Pretzel Sausages. They also have a variety of pretzel dips including melted cheese, honey mustard, butter cream, cinnamon and chocolate. When we visited, we had a plain salted pretzel with horseradish mustard. They were served hot, fresh out of the oven.

Accidentally entering this small store that makes the famous Philadelphia pretzels it is really delicious 1 hot giant pretzel sauce and a big drink for 5$50 is unbeatable

If you like Philly soft pretzels like the kind you get from a Philly street vendor, this is not that style of pretzel, as in: not a Philly pretzel. These pretzels taste exactly like the box of SuperPretzels that are sold in the frozen food section in the Shop Rite at Front and Snyder. I have gotten pretzels from different Philly Pretzel Factory locations, the one on Oregon is the worst, but all the locations sell below average pretzels. The fact that they charge for mustard is ridiculous. I was at a Wawa in South Jersey that had individually wrapped Philly pretzels that were better tasting and closer to a real Philly pretzel than this place. You know it's bad when you can get a better Philly pretzel at a gas station in Jersey than you can get at this place right here in Philly!

Bar none the best pretzel in the world today is made at the Philly Pretzel Frankford Avenue location just north of Cottman Avenue across from Mayfair Diner in Northeast Philly. I buy 50 or a 100 at a time and freeze them to defrost as I no longer live in Philly. No other pretzel compares at any other location, Germany, Belgium wherever this is the top dog in a soft pretzel in the world.

Philly pretzel factory has some of the best pretzels in Philly! I've been in this and several other locations throughout the city and I love this place. Most you can see the employees making the pretzels. I can't see how anyone has been disappointed by their pretzels! I always go for a side of cheese whiz. Only downfall is the cheesesteak pretzel, ugh avoid!

Visiting the area. Potentially a place to move so was checking out the area and decided to get a quick snack. Had a pizza pretzel with sauce on the side. It was ok. Husband had hot dog pretzel. It was ok. Came with cheese which he said it threw him off. He's use to auntie Ann's. Like I said just needed something to snack on while scoping the area. Would go back again if I wanted a quick snack

In the event you're in the mod for the traditional soft, warm pretzels, and the mall's are not doing it for either you or the pocket book...this is the place. There are various flavors and sizes. They are fresh, warm and have the basic toppings to go. When we passed by, the order could not be filled exactly, since there was a shortage, a long line proceeded us. They clerk offered to add more of the smaller size, to fulfill our order free. Win, win!

If you want to have an authentic Philadelphia pretzel that's really good (yes, there are those who say a "true" Philly pretzel should be a little bit hard, with watery mustard) then come to the Philly Pretzel Factory. Try the location near 15th and Sansom. The pretzels are always freshly made and warm from the oven. They have 3 different types of mustard you can try. You can buy a single pretzel, or get deals for 3 large, 5 mini, etc. 3 large and a 20oz bottle of soda cost me $3.25. What a deal! A definite must for any visitor who wants a true Philly food experience.

everybody has soft pretzels. really !!!!!!!!!!!!These are the only ones!!.Nobody can match THE FLAVOR, texture or taste of these beauties !!Hands down "THE BEST"

I have never seen a pretzel this big before!! It's so good i don't live in Philly. These treats were so good, I bought the plain and the cinnamon. Soft and super delish! The price was awesome! I got two large "sets" for $5. This would be enough to feed 4 or 5...as a snack , of course. :)

Go here three times a month to get the 25 count with the spicy mustard. Take them to my shop where I work for all the coworkers. They don't last long, everybody has one or two at a time. The small bites with the cheese is also pretty good. Will keep returning for the best pretzels around.

Looking for a quick snack between flights at Philly airport, stopped a Philly Pretzel factory, I'm pretty boring, give me salted or cinnamon pretzels and I'm good. The hot pretzel at PPF were very good and as good or better than Auntie Anne's

We were visiting Ocean City new Jersey and one of our Philly friends brought down a huge bag of these pretzels. I smothered them in hot deli mustard and was in hog heaven. They are amazing!

Had to make a quick stop and pick up a bakers dozen with a bottle of mustard for $10. What a great deal....and the flavor is awesome.
Nothing like the pretzels you use to get from vendors
We have a Philadelphia Pretzel close to home in Allentown, PA. These taste nothing like the pretzels I use to get from the vendors in Philadelphia. I remember when I was in grade school at recess they would have a large wash basket full of Phila pretzels and go around and sell them to each class along with a small carton of orange drink. Which I knew where to go and get them like they use to be made.
