Great service and excellent fresh food. Place is clean we were greeted as soon as we walked in. Prices are good best of all food is fresh and they have good selection of healthy meals. Great staff keep up the good work. Will definitely return when back in town

Uninteresting, non-memorable food

By Arthur G |

We enjoy Vietnamese food, especially the Pho, and although we have our favorite places for it, now and then we try a pho restaurant we had never been to before. Most are excellent or very good, using almost standardized recipes and ingredients, but Pho 21 doesn't reach those levels. The brew was almost tasteless, the meat ingredients were overcooked and tough, and there were very few herbs or other elements to add. Other diners around us seemed to be enjoying what they were eating so maybe it was just a bad day for the pho chef. Nevertheless, there are too many really good Vietnamese restaurants in the area to settle for one that is mediocre at best, so we won't return there. On the plus side, very clean dining area and very friendly servers.

Love the service and food .owner is great! Pricing is fair. Never too crowded. I usually go for the egg rolls, pho and a dessert.

False Advertising

This establishment is supposed to be open until 9:30 pm on Saturdays. Walked into the establishment at 9:08 and the waitress - she said her name was Anna - said they wouldn't serve us. Wow, just wow. We WERE frequent customers - getting takeout from here quite often. Not anymore! Why post operating hours if you aren't going to serve your customers? Pho Hoang right across the street just got our business. This place is dingy, dark, and has a smell of sewage anyway.

Pho a good time...

Had the beef stew. Was very tasty. The egg rolls were good with a nice crunch to them. The kids enjoyed their BBQ pork over rice. Quick service.

This place is "Pho"tastic

Our first time here. We red some reviews and decided to give it a try, I am glad we did. Everything was good can't wait to come back and try some more. The best place in Clear Lake Area.

Lunch at Pho21. Ordered the vermicelli with grilled chicken. Good food, clean place. I will cone back for pho or a grilled chicken rice plate.

Great choice for carry-out

By kay-cee-1138 |

While Vietnamese pho is perhaps best served immediately there at the restaurant table, there are times when one simply would like to enjoy it at home. By its very nature, pho doesn't lend itself to the small ready-to-eat boxes one usually associates with Chinese take-out -- the broth, vegetables, and meat must not be combined too soon. Pho 21 gets it right; offering its excellent pho in a practical to-go package: the various ingredients are packed separately; there is a small pack of bean sprouts, lime wedge and basil leaves for each bowl -- indispensable ingredients which it would be easy to leave out. The large bowl is ample, and Pho 21 also offers some pho options with chicken, rather than the traditional beef. An order for four (plus some spring rolls, with which the tasty peanut sauce is included) comes to about $30.

Average Restaurant

So I am in the area twice a week, and pass this spot on a regular, so I decided to try it! All I can say is that the prices are amazing. I paid less than half of what I usually pay at my regular spot. However, I must say, the food is kinda blah. Well, maybe blah is pretty extreme, but it just didn't make me want to go back again. There was nothing spectacular about it. Yes, the place we clean, prices good, and the staff very friendly, but the food is where the attention should be, and that's not there.

Great bang for the buck

Nice food. Lots of non-greasy options. Most people think of grease with Asian restaurants, but this one seems to be healthy with its soups and noodle bowls

One Word "Authentic"

By bumpensero1 |

After eating at Pho 21 you will spend the next few hours flashbacking to that time you and Gooch were on R&R in Saigon and you met that waitress that did that......no wait sorry food is great authentic exotic healthy! Deliscous go hungry leave full! No full is not the right word go hungry leave sated. As I finished my meal I was allready sweating from the spice and the heat that my ice cold Chanh Muoi a salty lemon drink that luckily cuts the heat. Now I head out into Houston heat.

My Kinda Pho Place

By Charles C |

Pho is one of those meals i try and get in at least once a week. It's not fatty, the broth normally makes you feel better, alot of positive things about eating pho. Now finding a great Pho Restaurant is another deal. Finally found the one I've been searching for all my life! Broth looks deep in color, comes out piping hot! Full of flavor and colors. So many places have bland colors, and the meat just taste like the broth.. This place I had no complaints about. Tasted so good, I had to "trip" about it "haha". The place was probably half full when i got there, and service was impeccable. Well at least to the standard of Pho Joint. 5 Stars YUmm Yummm dishes

Solid place

By kimcatus |

I enjoyed this place! I came here with some co-workers and was trying to eat healthy so I got the tofu and it was so good! The service was great and the prices were as well. My co-workers got other yummy things like spring rolls and bowls of pho but I was very happy with my fried tofu and rice. The place was very clean and it was quick, so I would definitely come back for lunch if I were on a time crunch, or even if I weren't. It wasn't the best place ever, but it was good and solid, and I would not hesitate to visit again!

Decent Food for Lunch

By NavyTom |

Working nearby, I have been here several times. The food is consistently good, though not great and it's a good value. It gets fairly crowded at lunch but the table turn quickly so I've never had to wait.

Lunch time

By ko993c4s |

Soup Base for beef was a bit on thin side taste wise. Felt like it had been watered down compared to Pho Hoang across the road. It looked like good value but servings were smaller and the amount of meats were lesser too.

Great place! Excellent noodle soup!

By texag80 |

Pho 21 is close to work and an excellent choice for lunch. Excellent noodle soup and I get the chicken added that makes it extra special! Staff is always friendly and courteous. Highly recommend!

Good food

By tleeEvans |

Went for dinner one week day service decent and the menu has several choices on it with different varieties of food my husband got a Pho, and I got a plate. Mine ne was good had good flavor but not to spic, my husband liked his Pho as well saying it had good flavor and the rice noodles were adequate . Would return

sometimes they forget to add garnish and fish sauce.

By caligula r |

place is cheap and wonderful for what you get for the money. not the best but will do for the price and convient very close location to candlewood suites. love the chicken rice plate #43 . downside they do not offer Vietnamese sandwich. some days its really good food. another time tasty garnishes is missing w/o fishsauce. food is ok. i will continue to get my meals here.

Excellent place to dine at

By bryanmantezoni |

We had dinner here, a little away from 45 but worth it, prices are very comfortable and combos about 9.25, clean place and clean restrooms and plenty of parking this gets A+++ check my pic

This place is great

By Mike B |

From lunch during work to wife and I for weekend lunch or dinner. Light fresh and good. Great staff. Have eaten here at least a dozen time and never been disappointed with service or food. Nothing bad to say about this place and is average pricing for places like this.

Good but missing some meat

By Neil P |

Phobia usually a beef broth. But some places serve chicken base. Most not very well. This place has been a favorite for years for their great chicken pho. I had not been in a few years. This time the chicken was almost not even possible to find. I would have ordered extra meat but nobody came by. The chicken base is good but has very little meat and the beef pho is better across the street

Wonderful soup!

Wonderful soup!

We love the Pho Ga

By Badmonkey69 |

My boys make it a point to eat here every time we get the opportunity. The Pho Ga is very warming and leaves you very satisfied. We do not leave hungry. You must also try the Vietnamese ice coffee.

Good neighborhood place

By ChanaEtel |

I have been here many times both to eat in & to carry out. The food is consistently fresh & tasty. My favorite is #51 which is a grilled chicken vermicelli bowl. There are a variety of fresh crunchy veggies like lettuce, carrots & daikon. I always ask for some peanut sauce because I prefer it to the other sauce that comes with it. Their cold summer rolls are also excellent.

Neighborhood staple for amazing spring rolls!

By Michelle E |

They are right by where I live so i go there frequently - the spring rolls are fantastic and will often just order those. I love the vermicelli bowls as well and have heard good things about all the food. service is good and fast. Also great for take out.

Great place!

By DenoDiner |

It was my first time to try Vietnamese good. This place came recommended by Vietnamese couple we met locally. It was great! The beef and noodle (#12) was just what I wanted.

Noodle soup like no other.

By Kunsam |

This is the place for beef noodle soup when craving for Pho'. I have always come here with my wife who loves Vietnamese noodle soup. I would give 4 star for the food and 2 star for service, which we do not expect much of good service from Vietnamese restaurants. A single portion is normally good for both of us but we always order more than we can stuff.

Great place for a quick lunch

By Traveler mom |

It is one of our favorite places in the area for fast lunch. Food is so good and delicious. They have great tofu spring rolls. This restaurant is so food for couple, friends or family. Stuff are friendly most the time. Highly recommended.

Excellent price for delicious food!

By Michael R |

We eat here often (ordering take out today, as a matter of fact). A family of six can get full with spending less than $50. The food is delicious and well prepared.

Always friendly, fresh food.

Great PHO, and the other dishes are good too. Tons of food for the money, especially the soups. Very nice employees. Decor a little outdated but we come for the food
