If you need a fix in Pho, then this place is it. All they have are Pho noodles and Ice Coffee, nothing else. It's worth a try, the soup base is very good. Plenty of ample parking. If you want a Bahnmi, go across the parking lot, they make a darn good one. There's also a Vietnamese/Chinese supermarket where you can find the soup base to make your own Pho at home.

This is arguably the best place to try pho in Philadelphia. The establishment is very simple, located in an "Asian strip mall". Simple tables with no tablecloth and waiters with just enough English. Most customers appeared Vietnamese. The menu was a one page pho-only menu. The soup - and there are many varieties of pho to choose from - was excellent. You will pay less than $10 per person in this BYOB.

Pho 75 is always a good place to have a Soup! But this place offers different kinda Pho, they have the usual Beef...and now they have Chicken Pho? We ordered both and it was awesome! Would love to come back soon!

Extremely fast service, large portion for a very reasonable price. Not to mention utterly delicious. Absolutely perfect for anyone.

Recently my companion and I had a meal problem. Too late for breakfast and too early for lunch. So we chose to have Pho because that is so delicious anytime of the day or night. We happen to be a fan of Pho 75 on Washington Ave in Philly. Friendly staff, interesting people watching, and must importantly, one of the best broths anywhere. You won’t be disappointed.

Best Pho house in Philly.

Forget ambiance. Forget getting anything else. If you want Pho you will not get a better bowl than right here. The broth is perfect and must contain some sort of addictive agent. I have eaten in this place 20 times in the last decade, I always leave wishing I could take the restaurant with me. The noodles have perfect elastic "bite" and they have nice meat in every variety you could want from lean brisket to tripe and fatty tendon. The sides are generous and fresh, its a wonderful purple tinged basil that you dunk. I keep trying but nothing compares to PHO 75

Excellent pho. 'Nuff said.

Great pho!!! The minute you hit the door you smell the soup broth. What do they serve? Just pho and the best pho around

Food, service and facility were outstanding. The Washington Avenue location is in a mall that features a great “Costco” type Vietnamese grocery store. If you need great Pho, produce, fresh seafood or groceries this is the place.

Still is , in my opinion, the best Pho in any restaurant I have tried in America . Any time I visit my son in Philly he always takes me to this restaurant for lunch

This is her favorite place for lunch. The place is clean and the service is good. We ordered two small bowl and a larger bowl of 3 different dishes. And we had more to take home. I highly recommend and will definitely come back when in the area.

This was amazing. The service was fast. The price was super cheap and the actual pho was amazing. The beef that was inside was perfectly sliced and jo fat at all. All though you could order that as well. The flavor was perfect and I can't believe how fresh the ingredients are. Will definitely come here again next time I'm in Philly

I was concerned when I first stepped into the place because there were more white people then Asians (it's not racist to expect more of an "ethnic" presence at an "ethnic" establishment) but my doubt was quickly squashed as I took the first sip of the broth. It was as flavorful as to be expected. The portions were good and I like that you can have extra meat on the side. Try their pickled lemon soda, as well. It really does help cut the grease and the saltiness.

This was OK. Anthony Bourdain talked this one up on one of his programs and I've just drawn the conclusion that he doesn't know what he is talking about. The main problem was the pho just didn't seem fresh... like it was hanging out in a vat for a week or so before I ate it. Just a hunch but that was my impression. I'd try elsewhere.

Pho is everywhere but there are the good and there are the bad and Pho75 is one of the best. Simple cafeteria style dining for great Pho at very good price and service. Lots and lots of meat, fresh fresh fresh! Great!!! Love it, will go back for sure!!

Very fast service, u get in , order and get your food in about 5 to 10 minutes and it's awesome every time. I always get it with everything. The broth and meat just taste better here in my opinion. I pick pho 75 over pho ha.

Pho 75 is a great place for a quick lunch. The restaurant is not long on atmosphere but is clean and comfortable. Service was efficient. The delicious pho is the main reason to come here. The price is right, too - good value.

My hands were still cold from the winter air when my beautiful bowl of Pho arrived. And that's in part to two factors:The menu is extremely short with only variations of Pho and the service is extremely fast. The Pho was very good, so good that I actually referred to it as Pho, a distinction that I have not given out lightly since my trip to Vietnam in 2104(I usually refer to sub par bowls of Pho as just Vietnamese Soup). The broth was packed with beefy flavor, not the least bit watered down, and served at mouth blistering temperatures just the way I like it. The broth was silky smooth and left a fantastic waxy coating on your lips. The noodles could have been a bit more el dente for my taste but that's just being picky. Decor is at a bare minimum but you won't notice if your face is buried in the bowl the way it should be.

I've eaten Pho for roughly 20 years and to date Pho 75 has yet to been dethroned as the best Pho I've ever had. The balance of flavors is perfect and it's not overly salty or sweet, some of the places I've eaten at taste like they put too much fish sauce into the broth and it comes off as overly sweet. The noodles are perfection not too soft and not too hard, the vegetables are fresh and portions are generous. My only gripe with Pho 75 albeit a tiny one is the fact that they do not serve anything else like Banh Mi or Com Tam, however the one they they do serve is the best I've ever had. So if you're in the mood for Pho, I highly recommend Pho 75. I've been going here for years and while this was my first time at the Washington Ave location, their recipe is the same as their other location. 5/5

I have been to this place so many times, that I wanted to add this to my yelp postings. The prices will not break your wallet. Each bowl of Pho is deliciously put together: The broth is delicious and warm, the noodles are just cooked right, the meats are sliced thinly and the accompanying bean sprouts and mint are fresh. Pho 75 is located in a strip mall with ample parking which at times can be full during holidays and weekends. The restaurant is not wheelchair accessible. The dining room is clean, and so is the public restrooms. Just remember to bring cash with you because they do not accept credit cards.

All they serve is Pho........so if you want soup and noodles and meat......I'd recommend this. It is not fancy or expensive. You sit at long tables and with chairs.... The 17 varieties of pho came with lots of choices of toppings of flank steak, other steak and beef, tripe and one chicken. It was not expensive at all...about $7 for a 'regular' size bowl. The large bowl was huge...It was tasty tho I added a lot of hoisin sauce.

I'm not a huge pho connoisseur so I can't really say whether one pho restaurant beats another, only if it tastes good or not. This one is fine. You'll only find pho on the menu so they're pretty good at it. Space is relatively large for a pho place in my opinion. There's another vietnamese restaurant across the plaza that has a larger selection of vietnamese cuisine plus pho if you're so inclined.

Definitely the best Pho joint in Philly. This is one of the Pho 75 mini-chain restaurants starting in DC & Northern VA area (7 corners). Solid broth, chewy noodles and loads of different cut of meats. Add-on prices are also reasonable ($2.5 for meatballs as an example). Service is just meh... but you don't come here for service....

Food is mediocre at best. The service is terrible especially if you are not Asian. I hate to say that but it is true. The place is dirty and the atmosphere is like a nursing home or dirty buffet to me.

Quick no-nonsense service and very good Pho. The large was pretty big, probably should've ordered the regular. Staff was pleasant and the place was very clean.

Sorry, I couldn't help myself. This place is wonderful. It's clean, efficient, tasty and inexpensive. I had a large bowl of Pho Ga placed in front of me w/in 5 minutes of sitting down and immediately dug into a wonderful bowl of broth, noodles, chicken, with a side of the fixin's - basil, fresh peppers (jalapenos?) and sprouts. Only bummer: I did not pick up on the fact that this place is cash only. Ooops! A trip to the apartment and ATM later, I settled up. Thanks

Great spot for traditional pho. Nothing fancy about it - just the true essence of the dish. No real ambience to speak of but the pho more than compensates for a filling and inexpensive meal.

I've eaten at a lot of Pho restaurants, and I have to say this place was good. The service was prompt and the Pho was very good. The base was full of flavor and you could get whatever cuts of meat you wanted. It was the perfect hangover cure!

We missed so much a nice Pho. They have it. Is a big portion with all the tradition. The place is real.

I live in s.e. Asia 7 months out of the year frequenting Vietnam often and the pho here is comparable if I dare say even better then over there. When I'm living and working in philly I always come here for my pho.

People who complain about the atmosphere need to travel more and see how the other half of the world live and eat. This place has awesome food at dirt cheap prices. You come here for the pho not for the romantic setting or the upper crust ambiance. Broth is rich with high umami flavor. Toppings are fresh and abundant. Service is brisk and no nonsense. Better than Pho Ha, Nam Son, Nam Phuong, or Le Viet for pho.

The pho is good, but the service wasn't that great.

Great for a hangover brunch. Unpretentious. No frills Only thing on the menu is Pho with a bunch of meats. We tried a few different ones. The broth was tasty and just had the right level of saltiness :) Simple yet satisfying. Don't miss the drop coffee with condensed mild

My husband and I stop here any chance we get THIS IS the best pho soup you will ever eat also I love their drop coffee yummy!! The atmosphere's not so appealing but the large bowl of $6.95 soup makes up for it!

cheap and yummy

This is a Vietnamese restaurant in an old rundown sketchy shopping center on Washington street, that has mostly Vietnamese stores. The restaurant is a large utilitarian room, catering to 'landsmen'. Formica tables, no frills, but clean. You can also order take-out and that is what I did. I don't know the extend of their menu, but I ordered pho. They packed the broth in a plastic container and the accoutrements of fresh veggies in a baggy, as well as chicken and noodles separately. I was very impressed by their method. It was done lovingly. It could have all been tossed in the broth, but wasn't..... Also included separately were some sriracha and hoisin sauces. All put together, it tasted wonderful, except that the rice noodles had congealed by the time I got to it...... The padrone was polite. As it was midmorning, business was slow, and some Vietnamese just finishing breakfast.

Just the pho. Delicious. Forget ambiance. This is a Vietnamese cafeteria.

Sits in a strip mall next to a Vietnamese super market, making parking a challenge on weekends. Aside from that, the broth is really tasty and the meat fresh. They charge extra for soup, a small bowl for $1.50, which is unnecessary if they had provided a slightly bigger bowl.

Everyone has the one food for when they get sick, some people its tea, for others it may be chicken noodle soup but for me its, Pho 75, has been given the name the “Miracle Soup” by many people and it by far lives up to that expectation. Once you sit down and order it takes only a minute for them to come out with fresh hot soup. Just seeing the soup sends chills down the spine of any illness you have. If you think that's where it stops you are very wrong my friend, once you try the soup itself you won't be able to stop the delicious herbs and meats will rock your soul and send you running for more. If that isnt enough for you the regular soup only costs 5.75 and their illness killing tea is only 50 cents more! What's more to want? Well if you're still looking for more Pho 75 is a fast food place with the quality of any 5 star restaurant. Now this is a review and not an ad so I do need to speak about everything. The decor compared to the food is subpar, the decor is nice but it just doesnt live up to the quality of the food, also if you're someone that lives in the world of plastic money and digital wallets I do have to warn you at Pho 75 they do not accept apple pay & credit cards only paper money.

My go-to spot in South Philly especially when I need some basic feel-good food. I get the large pho with white chicken meat every time. The people working here are sweet as can be, the service is fast & it's a well maintained business.

What a great Phò place in Philly. authentic small menu and to the point and great on a cold day like today! We went with number 12 ribeye steak and well-done brisket and rice noodles in a beef broth. with all the toppings. I added the jalapeños and some saracha and some bean sprouts and brown sauce. so yummy!

While visiting my home city of philly from florida a bunch of friends and I took a trip to Pho 75. This place is so good, all they do is pho. The broth was outrageously delicious the best I have ever had! Also tried the iced chicory coffee with sweetened condensed milk which was to die for. Just writing this review is making me hungry enough to book a flight back.

love it... if ur just into pho... and care less about ambience...

This place is friendly and very inexpensive . We come here periodically. The location is interesting ( we always stop at the Asian Supermarket on Wing Phat Plaza) but the parking is not always easy because it is a Washington Ave Asian hub of stores and restaurants. The decor is very simple, rows of tables, and yet this place is always busy. This time we dined with several friends - all pho aficionados. There was one vegetarian among us and apparently they do not have any vegetarian options but they recommended a place across the street. Our friend got a quick take out from the other place and we dined together. She was quite happy about it stating that vegetarian and vegan places she goes to not only do not have meat-eaters' options on menu but would also be very unlikely to tolerate a meaty omnivore dish brought from somewhere else at their table. So everybody was happy, the pho was delicious and the price was cheap.

A Great place for a late breakfast and lunch. Always fresh ingredients. We love this place. Go here every time we are in Philly.

Passed this great little find on my way to another restaurant and really just popped in to check it out future reference. A quick glance around and it became clear that everyone was happily noshing into their Phos, so I thought I'd better give it a go. Really wasn't disappointed. Excellent value the money. Cheap and cheerful ambience. Polite staff. Happy customers.

Pho 75 is definitely a solid place to get pho in South Philly. It has really great broth although the selection and quality of the meats that go in the broth could be a bit better. The service is super fast, it's BYO, and your bill will be less than $10 per person. So all and all, it's a winner.

Been coming here for a couple years. There pho is to die for. Always get there strong ice coffee. Very reasonable price for a good meal.

bad

Broth was good. Very light on meat. I got the combo with tripe - I think they dipped a piece of tripe and some of it fell into the bowl. One could not have designed a less appealing or charming decor. More like a third world hospital waiting room. Pho Ha is much better - next block. Actually I'm being generous with a rating of "Average". Its not worth the trouble to eat there.

Decided to try the pho here after watching Anthony you Bourdain "the layover". The location is very large with a lot of seating available. The decor leaves much to be desired but once you eat the food it really doesnt matter. The broth in the soup is very flavourful with plenty of noodles. We have tried a lot of pho and this is some of the best we have had.

Right on the corner of a strip mall with many Asian markets and stores. The Pho was great and very reasonable in price.
Never had Pho before, great place to try it!
So this was my first Pho experience and I loved it. It's a tiny hole in the wall joint, nothing fancy, but the food was great. I was with 2 Pho experts who assured me this is how it's supposed to taste so I am pretty pleased. Nothing vegetarian here so beware! There is another place across the shopping center that does have vegetarian options and they will let you get takeout and bring it over. Yum!
