Ordered the chicken lemongrass lunch special, which is a very good deal when you add spring rolls to it for less than $2, but the strong lemongrass flavor I was looking for just wasn't there. If you like your food subtle, this is the place for you.

I’ve been trying to find my new favorite Pho restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality. The chicken is all white meat and very tender. They give you plenty of basil, cilantro, bean sprouts etc. It had great flavor and I will definitely be going back. I highly recommend this place.

Pho Cong LY is the best. The very best Pho and Spring Rolls in San Antonio for a solid 15 years. The best taste, the best service and the best value. There is no comparison. Other soups: Best Hot & Sour we have found a-n-y-w-h-e-r-e.

Pho Cong LY is exceptional, one of our favorite places to go. We have tried many things on the menu, but always get the Spring Rolls. They are crunchy, very favorful and are perfect dipped in the sauce you make to your own taste at the table. The pho is outstanding and the Hot & Sour soup is one of the best you will find anywhere. This is a can’t miss place!

The spring rolls are fresh, crispy, flavorful! The pho serving (p3) is so large, i usually have to take it home for another meal. Very busy at lunch time so we go early or after 1.

Many times I have eaten at this restaurant and I was always pleased with the food and the service. But on Feb 25th 2016 I was really disappointed! The service was horrible, like our table of four was not on their floor plan. One of our group wanted to bring in a bottle of champagne as we celebrated an important event. We asked the male waiter if we could bring the bottle in. He went away to ask management and came back with the message that is was o.k. Only one dish of vegetables was served with two Pho orders and we had to ask for a second dish. Our total order was appetizer and four dinners. We had to get silverware from the table next to us because we were tired of waiting for the orders to come. When the bill came, there were 8 charges of $1 on it in addition to the food items. At the register I received the message that it was for a $2 charge for each glass for the champagne. While this was never mentioned when we asked if we could bring in the champagne. Pho Cong Ly you disappointed all four of us with your lousy service and your unreasonable "cork fee". Will not be back soon.

The lemon chicken was delicious. I forgot to take a picture. The service was spot on. The egg roll was very very good. It is worth the trip. It is not close to us but again it worth going a bit farther.

Good pho soup at a very affordable price. This place fills up fast for lunch so get their early, and be sure to sit on the Pho Cong side when you go

My wife and I eat at this restaurant on a regular basis of at least once a month. My wife always gets the same dish and I vary very little. The food is always tasty and served quickly and hot.

My husband and I have been coming here for over 10 years. We only order the Pho although we have ordered their Chinese for my parents and friends and its solid. The Pho is good for SA, not the best, but its hot and quick. Attitude of the server is most definitely hit of miss. If you're serious about pho, go to Pho Thien An on Rector behind Northstar Mall.

I have had Pho soup for years in different locations throughout the US, and this particular location serves the best. Their staff is awesome and some go out of their way to take care of you. I feel spoiled when I eat there, which is 2 to 3 times per week.

Being an Asian from Houston, it was a nice surprise to have found such a great place to have a nice bowl of pho. Soup was just right to taste and meat was tender. The best was there was no msg after taste even I did sip on the soup while eating my noodles. The eggrolls were fabulous too. But what left the deepest impression was the waitress. She was not only quick, sweet and easy to talk to, she was very helpful with information on Vietnamese food. A great place!

Good place to have Vietnamese noodles. Very decently priced dishes for it's portion size.

Pretty solid Vietnamese, good Pho.

The service was good, and the food was not bad. The spring rolls were very good and would have been even better had they been served with fresh mint. The Bun Bo was pretty good. The flavor on the beef with onions was tasty, Unfortunately, there was nothing more that noodles and lettuce in the bowl. I'm normally used to beansprouts, nuts, cucumbers and other vegetables in the noodle bowl.

Great vietnamese and Chinese selections. Excellent soups (Pho)

The Pho is just right when served. We usually come during cold weather, sometimes just to get their Kung Pao beef. Great service.

I never got to taste the food here. I stopped in at the lunch hour during the week thinking service would be fast. But alas, it was not. I ended up leaving after a 20 minute wait without a whiff of the rice plate I ordered. The server was the most unwarm old guy. He flirted with all of the ladies but was completely unfriendly. That sai, 20 minutes wait is not good for business for the lunch crowd.

We have been going to Pho Cong Ly for years and find ourselves craving the pho at least once a week. This is the most amazing food and the staff is so friendly. The Summer Rolls are most incredible as well as the Spring Rolls. The pho is the very best we have ever had any where in the world ...... and we have eaten a lot of pho around the world.

Great place for lunch or dinner. All dishes are fresh & nicely priced. Servers are attentive. Gotta try the summer rolls ~ awesome !

I had a good time eating here I liked the service that we received. The staff was friendly. Thank yall I will eat Here again.

The Brisket pho soup is delicious, the Vietnamese fried egg rolls are best in san antonio. I also have eaten the stir fry pork vermicelli bowl with grill onions and spicy peppers is amazing.

I found this place because of a friend who is something of a pho expert since his family owns several pho restaurants in his hometown. Every city he goes to, he tries all of the pho restaurants, and for San Antonio, Pho Cong Ly was his favorite. Start with the Cha Gio (Vietnamese spring rolls). You are going to want to order 3 because they are simply the best cha gio I have ever had. I always get the Pho Tai which is superb. My wife usually orders something off their chinese menu--pretty standard stuff, but well executed. Another perk is that they serve beer and wine which you can't always find at pho restaurants. My only complaint is their service. The servers are not particularly attentive and not that friendly either. Maybe it has something to do with our typically late arrival (they serve until 10 except on Sundays), but it has been consistent and definitely hurts the overall experience at their restaurant.
The best Pho in town
You know it's good when the local police eat there too. The pho and the Vietnamese spring rolls are the go-tos here. And this is as good as any that I have tried in NY as well. Very well done dishes. If you dig Pho, you'll dig this place!
