On a cold, wet night a bowl of hot beef noodles can not be beat. this is a traditional noodle house only noodles but they are great. as the only rookie in the place i needed a little help selecting the dish but everyone was very helpful with suggestions. i plan to eat my way through the menu.

There are 2 locations, one ran by this little old man and the other one is a bit down the street. We go to that one when this one is closed. Can't understand him half of the time but he is such a hard worker, and when we go visit we use my simple name and not my husbands name w 20 syllables. We got skipped over a few times. Anyways great awesome pho!! If you go late or during summer vacation, He always rand out. Love me a bowel if gooood pho here!!!

I'm surprised this is the first review of Pho Dien, though I know it has only been open a few months. This is a very typical Vietnamese noodle house - no great atmosphere here, and of course the menu is restricted to pho. If you are a fan of this delicious Vietnamese beef noodle soup, then Pho Dien is for you. I first went there a few months ago when it first opened. I had gotten tired of the deteriorating quality of the food at my old hangout, and a friend of a friend recommended Pho Dien, This is the place for me to go to get my pho fix when I'm in the Bellaire neighborhood of Houston. For those of you (like me) who do not speak Vietnamese, don't worry - the wait staff all speak English. The place is crowded and noisy, but reasonably clean - but you come here for the pho - and it is great. My usual pho tai was well up to standards.

I heard that phở điện is really good in Houston, Texas. So earlier today, my friend and I went there for lunch. First of all, the waitress was very unprofessional and rushy. We were just seated on the chair when she came over and asked me, 'Cô order gì?' (aunty, what would you like to order?). I asked her back, 'How old are you? Why do you call me aunty?' The way she greeted the customers was very impolite. After we placed the order, the waiter brought out two Styrofoam cups of water with lime. This was the first time that I had ever seen them serve their customers with Styrofoam cups of water. They looked so cheap. I wish they had served us with glass water instead of Styrofoam cups. The service was very bad due to the lack of greetings for the customers and no interpersonal communication skills. Their phở was alright. I liked their rare steak slices because they marinated the rare beef very well.

Really Really Good. A new associate, who is from here, said this was her favorite Pho place. So I gave it a try for lunch today. It was superb.

This place was recommended by a Vietnamese friend. There was a crowd outside but the wait wasn't that long - about 10 minutes. The soup was good. You have at least 15 choices of soup. It comes in small, large and x large. the price is the same regardless of what soup you order, the difference in price is in the size of the bowl. They are close on Thursdays. Service was fast!

Came here because of the reviews. Very busy place with excellent pho and good service. Reasonable price.

Having read the reviews, I had to try this place. It is hard to find (remember north corner Bellaire and Kirkwood and save yourself the 30 minutes I spent U turning and squinting through parking lots dodging cars) and you will probably have to wait a little while once you get there, but so worth it. Not fancy by any means and menu limited almost to just a few variations on one dish, but they really have it down. Monday about 1:30p, the place was packed with happy pho loving people enjoying real home cooking. I got that brief rush of culture shock (a good omen) - and then - another exceptional Houston food adventure, no passport needed.

We planned this visit, and we were not disappointed, there were more reviews of this restaurant from another website. It's about time to write more reviews here at Tripadvisor, There were line ups and it took us about 20 minutes to be seated. The soup was amazing, service are fast. Will definitely go back.

Hard to find authentic pho in USA. Here it is. Often crowded, because it delivers the goods. Go with friends and family.

Tasty broth, tender beef, fast services. Can't be beat 👍👍👍. Worth the wait. Definitely recommend for all travelers. Will come again soon.

PHO (translated Vietnamese noodle soup) here is the best I have ever had. It's the most wonderful delicious pho. Staff is super attentive and friendly. Service is extremely quick. I'd recommend Pho Dien at 10623 Bellaire to anyone in the Houston area.

Very good place to eat pho. They always have a line, and sometimes they ran out of pho middle of the afternoon!

Pho with round steak only. Excellent broth!!! This place was recommended to me by Adam at Nails Miracle in San Antonio. Worth the stop in on the way home. Within the top three of my favorite pho places.

Ths place came recommended recently. I don’t know why I hadn’t heard of this place before, but it is now my go-to restaurant for pho noodle soup. There can be a bit of a wait but the turnover is fast and it is worth the wait. They only have pho on the menu, so don’t expect spring/summer roll appetizers or rice dishes. But they do pho right. The broth is clear and less fatty compared to some other places and the noodles are cooked just right. Size is a bit smaller than I am used to, however. They have small, large, and extra large - no medium. Their large feels like a medium at other places. Not a major complaint, just order additional noodles or go for an extra large. Lastly, if you go during peak lunch hours, don’t expect a leisurely experience. They get busy and things get noisy. Overall, great pho, I recommend it.

Upon entering the establishment, we were greeted with an, "I don't want to be here" expression, by the female employee. As we finished ordering, I asked her for an empty rice bowl(because I make my dipping sauce in it), she then gave me an ugly face, and walked off without acknowledging my request. This was actually my second visit(tried to give this place another try). We, as consumers, leave the comfort of our homes to dine out because we don't want to cook ourselves(I make better Pho at home). We pay to have our food made for us and served to us. WE PAY FOR SERVICE. We don't need to be brown-nosed, we just want to get the service that we are paying for, and we definitely don't pay for "stink-eyes".

Best pho in Houston hands down . Always ordered the marinated filet mignon large bowl and meat on side so it’s not over cooked . Never disappointed me everytime I’m here visiting from Boston. The young staffs seems like they are not too thrill to work there otherwise the quality was excellent.

By far the best pho you can probably have on the Western Hemisphere. The broth is amazing, and you can tell they overnight their broth with love. When you call to ask what time they close, they say "whenever the pho runs out." -- that's how you know this place is legit. It only serves pho (no bahn mi's or spring rolls or other food). After your meal, get yourself an iced coffee from there. Probably also one of the best Vietnamese iced coffees you can have as well. If anyone finds a better one, please let me know.

Expect long wait for a table in this little popular Pho place, once you get there, enter the door and make reservation. Service is good and fast, noodle is great and tasty.

We usually visit this place once a month on a Saturday morning around 11 am. There's usually a 10 minutes wait but that's ok for good noodle soup. The owner, an older Vietnamese man, will take your name and # of people when there's a queue. Once you are seated, the server quickly took our orders and usually within minutes, two big bowls of steaming hot pho would be in front of us! I have to say there's some serious msg as I got very thirsty each time after eating this. So drink plenty of water afterwards.
Very tasty Pho
Went here with a relative (who is a Houston local) for lunch. There was a line outside waiting, but only took us about 5 mins to get a table. The Pho was excellent, the soup was great and the noodles were just right (not over or undercooked), the beef was tender. Overall a good bowl of noodle soup and I would not hesitate to come back even if I have to wait for a table.
