My wife, daughter, and myself ordered takeout from Pho Hoang last week, during Spring break 2022. I showed up to pick up the food when they said it'd be ready but was told, "sorry, we're running behind". I cringed, especially counting 7 other people already waiting for takeout orders. But, it only was about 10 minutes wait and once we dug into our food we were very happy! Great food! To even mention the wait is being picky, really, but that's just part of the report. Recommended.

I've never had Vietnamese food before but my daughter wanted me to try it. So glad I did. I got the stir fry vermicelli bowl with chicken. It was so fresh and so good. I didn't care for the fish sauce so I didn't pour it over my bowl. The food is really to die for. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the waiter never came back to the table. Not to see if it was good. not to refill our drinks. They also don't give you a bill you just go up to the counter when you're ready to leave. I would have loved some more drink

Pho Hoang was conveniently close to our hotel. Their service was fast and food was delicious! The kids wanted to come back for the second time. This place gets busy with to go orders and dine in. I can see why!

The food is good and inexpensive. Great selection on the menu. You pay at the counter after you eat but leave a tip on your table. The only problem I encountered is that some of the servers don't pay attention to what you are ordering and blame their mistake on you, as in, you ordered the wrong food. They would argue with you on that. We almost walked out because of this. They also are not attentive to your needs, like you need more water, I had to go to the counter and ask for more water. Bad service in my book

Love this place. I usuaslly get #32 vermicelli with pork and an eggroll. This is the only restaurant i have found where I enjoy the eggroll. Other family favorites include the pho and steamed dumplings.

The best Vietnamese in town. The staff are (mostly) friendly and the food is always very good. Food comes out quickly, always consistent, never had a problem. Excellent egg rolls. Definitely recommend.

Tried this place on a friend's recommendation. The Pho Gà was awesome. Very flavorful and fresh. Not as salty as other Pho restaurants in the area. Also had the fried dumplings. They were great too.

The economy of scale at this place is fascinating. Seriously, you could do a whole course on microeconomics just by studying this place.

This was our third visit to eat at the Pho Hoang Vietnamese Cuisine restaurant in Round Rock. We have never been disappointed! The food is always fresh w/steaming hot soups, freshly steamed vegetables, and more! My favorite is #28, pho soup w/rice noodles and steamed vegetables! They also bring a separate plate of cilantro, fresh Thai basil, sliced jalepeno~ and bean sprouts, w/a fresh cut lime wedge. With all of these flavors mixed in one delicious bowl of soup, it becomes magical!! They have two sizes of soup bowls, large and small. The small size is way larger than a reg. size soup bowl. My husband ordered the egg roll vermicelli bowl. I'm not sure which one it was, but he said it was delicious! We always share an order of fresh shrimp spring rolls. My husband likes the peanut sauce that comes w/it; I however, prefer the Sriracha hot chili sauce on mine. We love coming here, because we know the food is trusted to be good and fresh, and the wait staff are so pleasant to be around. Soon, my doctor's office will be built up the street from Pho Hoang, and I may have to plan my appointment around lunch time so I can stop in at Pho Hoang's, afterwards! 😉

This is one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Austin/Round Rock! The pho is amazing and so much more authentic than most of these fast food pho restaurants out there. Everything that I’ve had there has been excellent quality. Make sure to try the egg rolls, ask for the chili oil, & the iced Vietnamese coffee. Some our other go to’s are the # 301, 32, 58, 59 & 311. You won’t be disappointed!

We often stop by here. The food comes out quickly and the staff are very friendly and attentive. Their Pho is very good and I also love their dumplings and fried rice. I love this place.

The Pho at Pho Hoang is always delicious. We have been eating here for many years and their food is always good and consistently well made. The place is clean, they have fast service and the servers are nice.

I stopped at Pho Hoang for dinner and settled on the "Pho Ga" or Chicken Soup. It was very tasty. It had nice bits of chicken, tasty noodles and sprouts to go with it. The food was very good and the service was friendly. One thing I am learning about Vietnamese restaurants though is the ones I have visited do not bring you the check, you have to go to the checkout area and they will ring you up. This was my first time there but I will be back!

I was in the area and had a taste for pho soup. My Pho chicken soup was really good! The service was fast and great!

I love going to this place for a quick Vietnamese food fix. The pho is great and so are the vermicelli bowls. I personally love the beef and mushroom clay pot. It is always delish! If you dine in you can bring in your own alcohol.

Stopped here to take a chance on what everyone was saying was the best. It's a close second. We felt like we were being rushed to order and when asking questions we got short answers. Food was very fresh and hot. Good flavor to the broth on the pho. Pan fried dumplings were very good. Disappointed that they had no curry or sandwiches that you find in traditional Vietnamese restaraunts. Over all it was worth the money.

I have eaten very good pho in Houston and this one ranks up there. Clean place, friendly staff, and good pho. Very hard to find ... this will be my go to place for business travel to Austin.

I always go to this place for lunch when in the mood or craving a great bowl of Pho. The prices are reasonable. I always order the Pho Ga (Chicken Soup). Can be rather busy during lunch thought. Very quick and personable service.

Very good Vietnamese food. Pho tasty and plentiful. Very clean and orderly. Summer roll fresh and tasty Would've earned excellent if the soup had more umami

Nice little place run a by family had the beef noodle soup it was good my friends enjoyed their meal good place if your looking for Vietnamese food.

I travel alot and so when I go places I really like to try out new pho places. I gotta say this place was really good. I also took my girlfriend there that has never had pho before and I'm glad we went there because it was a good bowl of pho and she really liked it! We even drove 40 mins to this place because it had the best star rating! If I'm ever back in Austin I'm deffinetly gonna go back there to eat again!

I always get the same thing because it is so good. #32 I love you. (pork vermicelli bowl with egg roll) Eating here always reminds me of how expensive Austin has gotten. What cost less than $8 10 years ago is now $12.

The servings were ample, and the service was polite and timely. The prices were fair. I will go back again.

i am actually walking out the door to pick up soup right now! i've been eating here for about a year now. i'm a very picky pho eater! i like my veggies fresh and not brown. i want them clean! i want my soup hot! i like flavor that doesn't taste like boiled water.(another pho place in town which name i will not say.) i DO NOT want to ask you for soy sauce! that has no place on my table! anyway, i eat here with my 4 year old on a regular basis. i get the pho tom every single time and every single time it is the same! it is consistently awesome! the owners and workers are the nicest and always not only remember who we are, but also what we order. i really like it here and sometimes don't want everyone to know where my awesome little places i enjoy are, but this places is the best pho in austin!

While in Austin, stop by Pho Hoang. The food was fresh and very very good. Prices are very reasonable and the service was excellent. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Austin.

Excellent food!

We were delighted with our spring rolls, steamed pork dumplings and stir fried shrimp with lemongrass and basil. Loved the peanut sauce and also the fish sauce. We were here for my daughters graduation and would certainly make this a restaurant to visit frequently if we lived locally. The establishment was clean and the food well presented.

Very clean and quick service. Manager always says hello and food is always out in 10 mins. Excellent broth but try some chili oil and this is a traditional noodle bowl place- no shoyu or soy sauce

I recently went on a month long mission to find the best pho in the Round Rock area. Pho Hoang did not win. Their pho broth is alright but I had to add some soy sauce and Siracha to bring out any great flavor (and I usually like my pho naked). There wasn't the tell-tale aroma you usually get when you sniff a well built pho broth. I also ordered spring rolls as a sort of control item. They were hard and cold, like they'd been made ahead of time and left in a fridge. The peanut sauce (I hesitate to actually call it that because I couldn't discern any peanut in it) was just gross. It had no flavor and I couldn't even guess at an ingredient it contained. On the plus side, if you're coming here for lunch, the service is really quick.

Have been there on several occasions and so far, everything's been great, everything's cooked properly with excellent flavor, nothing appears to be prefab.......

Went out to have dinner here while passing through Austin. The portions are big and very cheap... The quality is excellent. If you want a decent 'healthy' meal this is the place to be! The pho soups are delicious!

Had eaten at Pho King many times and wanted to try something new. Food was really good here. It was nice and fresh and had great flavour. Luckily is is not very pricey since they only take cash. Next time I am in Austin I will be back.
Dinner.
I had the pho with the steak (#22) and an iced coffee. It was all delicious. The pho broth was tasty and had plenty of noodles. I added the bean sprouts and basil leaves, and it was very filling (the small). Order the large if you're extremely hungry, or if you want to take half to go for another meal. The server was friendly and efficient. I'll definitely be back.
