I had never been until this visit, it didn't disappoint. I will return. I had Chicken Noodle Pho, sauced up to perfection, and my friend had salad rolls and broccoli. She said the vegetarian options were not sufficient, esp since she has visited Vietnam a few times to compare, so not sure she will return. I really liked it, service was superb, and quiet enough to talk and hear.

Returned to this old favourite restaurant & it was as good as ever. The spring rolls & pho dishes are incomparable, the service friendly & efficient. Highly recommended.

This has become a regular stop on our search for fun, good lunches. The staff is friendly, and the food is delicious. When we are there, we see many of the same faces there, from auto mechanics to business people to many Vietnamese people.

This is a regular place for us. They have much to choose from. I am very fond of the grilled chicken and tend to always get that. However, their pho is quite popular and very authentic.

I have dined in this single location family-owned & run restaurant an average of about 6 times a year since it opened in 2004. This restaurant never fails to delight. The cuisine is authentic Vietnamese, the service is impeccable, atmosphere is friendly, & prices are reasonable.

I eat here about once a week and love the Pho Ga ( chicken noodle soup). It is a go to place that when cold is coming on ...go get some pho!

I love the pho here. The broth is the most flavorful I have ever had, including surpassing the oft-reviewed HA VL. Any choice is a safe bet, but I really love the pho ga (chicken). Always moist and evenly sliced. Their pho is here is a cure-all, from hangovers to colds! Yep, I'm sayin the best pho is in Beaverton.

Decent and very clean pho. Had what our family wanted and was not too overpriced. Would definitely return.

This restaurant is in a little strip mall so not a beautiful restaurant but quick and great soup. If I get sick this is where I want soup from. Large bowl, very tasty, my teenage daughter loved it too!

Many kinds of Pho are offered and all that we've tried have been delicious. Unless you have a big, big appetite you can order a "small" which is about a quart of soup. The restaurant is immaculate and welcoming. They don't serve alcohol but there is an array of nice things to drink. I especially like the iced espresso with condensed milk. Yummy!! I've watched delicious looking orders being carried to other tables but can't bring myself to have anything but the soup that is their specialty.

I have been going to Pho Nguyen for well over 10 years, and the Pho has been consistently good. The prices are cheap, the atmosphere is clean and comfortable, and the service is fast. I have eaten Pho all over Portland, and this is still my favourite. Same family has been running the place since I first started eating here. I highly recommend the basic Pho dish and soursop shake.

My family always goes here for viet food, though there are viet restaurants closer to home in Beaverton. They seem to really like it. It's always busy but the wait for a table is short. Service is quick and efficient. As the other review has written, the pho is delicious. I usually get the duck noodles, which is a lot of food, but I like duck. It's an inexpensive place to eat that's always delicious and hearty.

The food is great! I loved the flank steak pho- the new menu has some pictures which really helped us out. Their menu has a lot to choose from with some explanation- it allows you to try something new without being scared of what you may get. We also tried the pork rice rolls... holy smokes are they delish! We are planning to go back very soon. It's always busy with customers too.

Whenever I am in Portland, this is a must stop. Food delicious, fast and filling. I love the bun thit nuong cha gio with an iced coffee! I don't want dinner after this. Lots of choices on the menu.

This restaurant is very plain but the Pho is really delicious! The soup is wonderful and the chicken is great. There are so many other dishes we have yet to try. Has a family feel to it and our grandsons enjoy it as well

The soup is amazing for the broth is very rich and flavorful. Several waiters served us during our visit.

I have visit this place every Monday for years...I have live in the neighborhood for 15yrs. I don't even have to tell what I want they remember. I have lots of Vietnamese friend who live at 25 to 30 miles away. They visit eat here very frequently. The food is always hot no w s iting even when is busy. You can take to go orders..I love this place...I have never had a bad meal! The neighbor!

I thought I would come here again and see if it was still good. And it still is. They are FAST to get your entree order to the table wow ! Everything was very tasty and the staff is friendly in their businesslike and efficient way. Polite and very service oriented. A boring interior but hey you came to eat and not to look at the walls. The restroom was clean while I was there. Try the charred lemongrass chicken to eat. Or for something different try the avocado shake or jackfruit shake. The pho is super good here and I've had it a few times now. And the prices are very fair for the amount of food you receive.

I normally get B2, Bun with grilled pork. Always excellent and filling. Prices recently have been escalating but still competitive. One of the best lower cost restaurants in the area. Salad rolls could be better if they included shrimp and grilled pork in stead of chicken? or roast pork. Dipping sauce requires the addition of Siracha to spice up the rolls.

Delicious phone soup broth with whatever meat or vegetarian choices you make. Traditional beverages including bubble tea, salt lemonade, jackfruit shakes or Vietnamese espresso. Beautiful presentations.

I was not expecting that much honestly when coming here, after all the tucked in a strip mall location, the lack of significant front signage, a boring front and unglamorous seating area.BUT, the server/host was friendly and fast, and the tables and chairs were clean and had many spices and many different condiments to choose from on hand. Napkins were on hand and chopsticks as well, and a pretty large menu considering the small inside and small kitchen. Many not all menu items had photos accompanying them on the menu. What was amazing was that our choices were brought to us so fast, seriously in like 5 minutes or less two huge plates full of colorful and steaming nutritious yummy food appeared in front of us.How did they make that so fast !? It was incredible the speed in which the meals got to the table. Both our meal selections were very good and served hot.I look forward to coming back and trying some different things. The negative would be lack of dessert choices. The interior walls and atmosphere are only so-so plain and kinda average.Bathrooms were clean when I was there. The total cost I felt was more than reasonable for what we got.

Just went there today after a recommendation. I had the Spicy Beef with thick noodles (H9)....WOW, really good! Just enough spice for flavor but no heat. Very generous portion too and a FANTASTIC price!!! Nice people there too, great young gal at the counter!!! My sister had a "Custom" bowl made up for her, she is vegetarian. They put everything in there that she asked for and charged her $10.00. No grief or attitude, they were happy to accommodate her. I will be back a whole lot more now that I live so close!
We liked it once; not so much this time
We liked this place the first time we tried it. They have an impressive menu, and the dΓ©cor is very nice. This time, however, the food didn't impress us as much. My husband thought his Pho had an off taste, and the meat was too fatty. I tried a new dish that looked beautiful in the pictures, but half of it was inedible because it was sitting in a plate of goopy sauce. I'll go back sometime -- because it's on my "route", on some days. Also, maybe the chef was just having a bad day. But I don't recommend it as highly as I did before.
