Checked this local joint out as I'm making the rounds on all of the Vietnamese places around Jersey Village. Got the #65 pork vermicelli with extra egg roll. It was all delicious and the place was nice though I got my lunch to go. Ready to go back soon.

This restaurant has the best pho that I've ever eaten. The broth is so tasty. BUT, the place smells like the inside of a humid bathroom! and the tables and menus are sticky. So if you are sensitive to these things you should not go. But if you don't care, you can have some great pho.

If you're planning a trip into Houston to dine on Vietnamese food, may I suggest Phi Saigon. Great place to eat at affordable prices.

Love this place! Great price, quick meal, awesome food. The pho and vermicelli bowls are equally awesome and the prices can't be beat. There are different locations across Houston but this one is the best in my opinion. Has consistently been great every time I have eaten here.

All food items, customer service, and cleanliness are great every time. We frequent this place at least once a month.

Authentic Vietnamese food at amazing prices. Everything I have tried here has always been good and very reasonable from the spring rolls to the bun to the pho, it's just yummy. The service is also super fast.

This used to be my favorite pho place when I lived here years ago. Just went back while I was in town and it still tastes as amazing as I remember. The staff is very nice, too. The plaques on the wall for "Best Pho in Houston" are well deserved.

I've been to a lot of Pho Restaurants in Houston. And, we have A LOT! Pho Saigon is one my favorite if not my favorite. Staff is amazingly friendly, service is very efficient, and the food is so fresh and flavorful. Will be returning again.

This is the best Vietnamese food in Houston. It is the original location of the chains and it is the best. Their spring rolls are tightly wrapped, the vegetables are fresh, and the food is out within 10 minutes after you order. If your looking for a casual location, fast service, and inexpensive healthy meal, this is the place to go!!!

Happened upon this place for lunch. They have really good soup, but so do many many other places. You kind of get the feeling you landed back in Viet Nam at a dirty noisy little roadside cafe.

Authentic Vietnamese noodles. You MUST go there. Delicious!

I love the way the dark chicken soup comes out at pho saigon. It tastes so gooooodddd....add a bit of basil to it and viola!!! You can not go wrong. Add a coffee to your order and it will be better than any under $10 lunch you will ever have.

This is my favorite pho place in Houston. The service and food quality are authentic. I mean it's pho... It really isn't hard to make. Although it seems that other places complicate themselves to make it

We love pho. This is one of the best noodle soup restaurants in Houston. We have been here numerous times (we were just there again today), and i have never had one complaint. It's very clean, the food is well seasoned, the customer service is as if they are trying to ensure continuous customers, and the prices are fair.

We have been eating at Pho Saigon for decades and we love the food here. I get the Pho Dac Biet, the special pho, and my sister gets the Bun Tit Nung, the barbecued pork noodles. My brother-in-law gets the rice version with eggroll. Great food, service, & prices.

Pho is the best in Houston area. Service is excellent and prices very good. Eat lunch there on a regular basis. Fairly roomy but be prepared, because it's a popular place.

I love the feeling of coming here with my family. The food here is very flavorful and they can make it spicy. The price is also very reasonable.

Great Vietnamese Cuisine

yum

When my favorite Vietnamese place closed I was so sad but a friend recommended Pho Saigon and I'm so happy they did! It's a great neighborhood place (and so much nicer then trekking all the way to Bellaire). Their pho broth is amazing and we also love their spring rolls. Absolutely love it!

I was in Houston for a conference so searching for a place to eat each night is work! Looking for a change from bbq, we stumbled on Pho Saigon based on other reviews. The space is quite large, plenty of seating and extremely swift service! The fried spring rolls were crisp and delightful, not at all greasy and the fresh ones were plump and fresh, full of flavor. The seafood pho and brisket pho were both some of the most flavorful I've tasted. There is no alcohol served, but you can bring your own, but dont skip the thai tea, it is strong and wonderful.

Pho as fragrant as ever, great quality, good prices. Parking is usually crowded - best to come at odd-hours.

Food here is very good and ingredients taste fresh. Atmosphere is casual. Utensil holders and other items are dirty which detracts from the dining enjoyment. Pho ordered without tendons arrived with plenty of tendons. Service speedy for the meal, but mom existent after the food comes.

I couldn't really settle for anything else when it comes to Pho in the city. Pho Saigon like most institutions get straight down to business. Delicious broth. Fast and satisfying. Its nice to have a lil piece of Vietnam in Midtown. The perfect hangover cure in my opinion.

Stopped in alone for a vermicelli and grilled shrimp bowl. I asked for #62 and server continued to stand and look at me and finally said, "Is that all?" I replied, "yes," and she contnued to stare and asked if I wanted anything else. I said unless it is a tiny portion, that will be all. She repled that there is only one size and she didn't know if I would want more or not. I asked if it was a good size for lunch and she repeated that there is only one size. Then I asked if something was wrong and she began to argue about all she was asking was if I wanted more. I was sensing an attitude issue and inquired if there was something wrong. She repeated what she said previously and again told her that was all I wanted but she didn't leave. I said if there is a problem I will go somewhere else and she said, "thank you." I got up to leave and another server came over and she began relaying her side of the story that I wouldn't tell her if I wanted anything else. I asked if she was the owner and she said she was. I told her I was going to comment on Yelp and she said, "ok, thank you." I didn't go there for an argument so I took my book and left and I will not go back. Perhaps she didn't like that I was wearing a mask.

I hate to do this as it seems like a popular restaurant but I found a bug in the bottom of my soup bowl today. I'm so thankful I didn't actually put it in my mouth! I pointed it out to one of the employees who apologized & told me they wouldn't charge me for my meal, but no one seemed very concerned. See attached photo -- can anyone tell me what kind of bug this is? Don't know if I should be worried about getting sick. Thanks

Pho sure we'll be back! Have tasted many dishes in various cities and this is by far at the top of the list. Friendly service, delicious pho, & couldn't leave without an iced coffee.

This is a very cheap Vietnamese restaurant. Food is good, although I was a little bit disappointed with my selection. I wanted to have shrimp, so I ordered steamed rice.with shrimp. There were only 6 shrimps in the dish, a few slices of cucumber, parsley, and a tiny portion of rice. I felt hungry afterwards. Soups looked really good.

The restaurant always seems busy which is a good sign. Friendly staff, good service and the Vietnamese food is really tasty. Also great value. Popular with people in the neighbourhood. Thumbs up!

The chargrilled chicken vermicelli is very good - addictive actually. Also have a caphe su da (sp?). This restaurant is one of the best managed I've seen also. Very attentive and friendly staff. Get there early for the rush hours. Very crowded because of its following.

Excellent value, very nice restaurant. It's not a fancy place, wood tables and chairs, but a busy varied crowd with huge steaming bowls of amazing soup

I'm a vegetarian. They have a good veggie broth that satisfied my craving. Good price. The tastes that I was looking for. If I was in Houston again, I would definitely stop back here.

Love it here! This is the best priced\ quality pho I can get near me. The service is fast and food is fresh.

Folks, for about $6, you can have an amazing bowl of pho. The interior isn't much to look at, but service is prompt and serious. You won't notice the decor anyway when you're slurping the best pho you can get in the Houston area. Portions are generous and I can't speak to any of the other menu items, but I'm routinely willing to drive an hour to enjoy pho here at this amazing restaurant.

Great prices, loved their spring rolls the ambience was cozy not too noisy. Their Vietnamese coffee is also phenomenal. Mmm mm!

Researched internet for the best Vietnamese restaurant in Houston and reviewers were not wrong. Best pho ever tried! Broth had great taste. We tried beef meatballs, egg rolls and Thai tea which were delicious. Even my picky eater kids loved their beef noodle pho. If we visit Houston again, we definitely eat here again!

You cannot go wrong with this noodle house! The first time I ate here, my server gave me suggestions on what to try. I ordered a small bowl of pho with sliced beef; the small bowl was very large, and they give you all of the fixings. When I'm in the area for business, I always have to stop by for a meal.

This is my favorite pho place in town! When its cold outside, this place is my first stop. Not a fancy place but nice and clean. Lunch crowd can be large on a chilly day but never had to wait for a table and service is always super fast. Great egg rolls and spring rolls, too!

I’ve been to several pho places in Houston. This one is similar to the others for featuring fast efficient service and cheap prices. Lots of options on the menu. We had a big group and were all served very quickly. Even though it was a Saturday, there were a lot of people there at lunchtime. It’s situated in a strip mall off of Milam. I was concerned about parking but it wasn’t an issue. Definitely worth checking out if looking for pho in midtown area.

my husband really like the pho,and when we find this,we're really satisfied, delicious broth, fresh herbs, fast service and very affordable, I will recommend it for the pho lover.

The food here is really good and the prices are reasonable. I'm torn between here and les givraux but I think pho Saigon wins. Very good bowl of pho... Consistently. My go too place in downtown for pho!

Quick seating, quick ordering, quick food & it was delicious. I ordered Pho with lean beef & a Thai tea. My husband ordered a beef sandwich and seasonal shake. Fun first time chopsticks & decorative little spoon. Great prices

Just ate here for the first time- split a bowl of pho & a cold noodle dish of some sort with my BF. WOW!!! It was fantastic! Also very reasonable $$$- great value, really... Too bad I don't live or work around here- I'd be a regular!

We probably eat here at least twice a month, or get take out. The large pho can quell any appetite. It is always hot and flavorful and here are enough condiments so you can spice it to your particular taste. We usually get the #41 and 42. We also get spring and egg rolls. Fantastic.

Fantastic noodles and the soups you would expect based on noodles. Also have fried rice dishes and various proteins on rice. All good. Attentive (without hovering) service.

You're seated super fast, your order is taken straight away and the food comes out quickly. This is a very quick eat, but cheap and tasty! The fresh lemon drink is just like it is in Vietnam. I had to have two. I had the veggie broth, which could've had more flavour to it and it was wierd to have carrots in it. But they noodles and other veggies were great, and I would definitely go back.

I had beef pho. It was very good. Also had their dessert (forgot what it is called, but it is red beans and white beans). Delicious! I was stuffed. I definitely recommend eating here!

The lemon grass beef rice is great..

My husband and I love this place. We always come here for Pho. I prefer pho with beef and my husband prefers with chicken. We always get good size meals, good amount of basil, sprouts and lime. Broth is wonderful, lots of flavors. I also like to order shrimp spring rolls. They usually come with pork, but I ask for no pork. We've tried many other Pho places in town, but this one is the best so far.

I have tried over 50 Pho restaurants in Houston and Pho Saigon in midtown remains the best!! Not big on atmosphere the service is wicked fast, the prices good and the food delicious!

My husband loves this place! They have the best Pho on Milam. I like the vermicelli. This is the best place to get Pho if you are sick.

I got the especial Pho with extra Thai meet. It was delicious and for the price, it was just amazing, definitely a must go if you like Vietnamese food.

We used to come here to have Pho. My family loved it. The parking lot was pretty small, but food is good.

By far the best Pho and spring rolls in town!

Simple menu - pho variations (including vegetarian option) and vermicelli bowl variations. Vietnamese coffee and limeade variations. Quick service, plentiful fresh condiments, eclectic patrons - you will experience healthy tasty Vietnamese comfort food, Houston style.

Place was clean and tidy. Staff was very friendly and service was fast. In n out (by myself) in less than 30min. The pho was good. All the veggies were very fresh, meat was good and broth was very savory. Great find. Would definitely come back.

Best noodles you could possible find.

Need a place near downtown that would get the food out quick! Excellent choice. You can never go wrong with pho and the service here is very good and fast. Tried the spring rolls but recommend the egg rolls.

noodles taste different hear and the broth is not oily like some places

I eat Pho about once a week and in my opinion, Pho Saigon Vietnamese Noodle has the best Pho broth in the city.

My associates had Pho, while I got Bunh Mi (Chicken) Sandwich & Soft Vietnamese Shrimp Eggrolls. The Pho (noodle soup) was good according to my associates. Flavorful. While my Vietnamese Sandwich was tasty, it was hollow. Needed filling with some more meat. The french bread was awesome. Good place for Pho but not necessarily for sandwiches.

It is hard to believe we ate at the same restaurant but we did. This place on Milam was horrible. The spring rolls were small and stale. The meat was not cooked correctly what there was of it. If I could rate it below one star I would.

For me, Pho is about the flavor of the broth, which takes a long time to make. Fresh noodles, basil, cilantro, lime and jalapenos are standard, but the broth is a characteristic of the noodle house. The broth here was very bland, and actually seemed more from instant that real broth. Very disappointing. The portions were fine, and the above standard items were all fine, but the broth not fine. Also, when I asked for some chili sauce to go, a woman went to a bowl of USED little cups, USED!!, and put the chili sauce in that. I was disgusted and obviously didn't eat from those cups. They do this only for take out. Eating in should be fine, but take out orders BE WARNED! Recommend Les Givrals across the street! I went there first actually, but they had just closed for the day.

We go one to two times a week for their delicious egg rolls with lettuce & pickled carrot and 2 small number 11s. The pho is generous so a small is ample for most. Comes with plenty of fresh Thai basil & cilantro, bean sprouts, lemon & chilli. Seriously good broth, get involved!

I got the beef Pho. It was wonderful. The broth has a wonderful, deep flavor and just tastes wonderful! Also had the Vietnamese egg rolls. They were delicious. They were long and stuffed with so much meat! You can actually taste the flavors and not just the fried dough. Can't wait to go back.

This will be my go to place for Pho The other dishes are light so might want to start with Phone first. Not the place for picky eaters

You must try Vietnamese food! - Fair rice, vegetables, chicken, noodles... Whatever is good there! Cold coffee with condensed milk is very good as well. The only place I could get fresh squeezed juice in Houston!

Can get pretty busy during weekday lunch peak time, and they aren't open very late for dinner. Service is usually very quick and friendly.

I got a lunch. Was a very good soup with meet and noddles. It is always very busy, but service is quick and efficient. Nothing really fancy in setup but affordable.

My wife, adult son, teenage daughter and I went to Pho Saigon in early July. The place is in a small mini mall across the street from another Pho place the my son had already tried, so we had to try the Pho Saigon and compare. It was very good. I sampled everyone's and was pleased with all of them. My wife's seafood Pho was the best. I like mine #41 a dark meat chicken Pho the least but it was still good. We also had eggrolls and spring rolls and both were great. Pho is probably not our favorite and Pho Saigon did not convert us to Pho lovers but did not turn us into Pho haters either. A nice experience for a reasonable cost.

Awesome food and great service The pho is amazing The service was good Lunch was packed Lots of locals

This is one of those Hole in the wall restaurants that you find once in a blue moon that are fantastic. The Pho tastes great here, you see the different ingredients. You taste them. There is not a bland taste of everything taste like everything. The flank and the tripe are the two things that standed out most to me. the tripe was spider-ed out, nice n' chewie. Love this place.

I love this place. Quick service, great Pho and reasonable prices. If you like Pho you have to try Pho Saigon!! They also have vermicelli bowls that are amazing.

An unassuming location. The staff is polite and attentive though. The food is prompt and unbelievably fresh, the prices dirt cheap. The fresh herbs are the stars of the show and make the dish memorable. The ambiance could be a little better and the bathroom needed a coat of paint but this is the best meal for the money in all of Houston. I had every last drop.

This place is incredible. While it looks like a high school cafeteria inside the food is simply delicious. Authentic and also very cheap prices, Pho Saigon has never disappointed when dining here. Better than all the other Pho around.

Had the beef pho without tendon but got plenty of tendon. Broth didn't have as much flavor as some I have had. Soup came out before my ice water or coffee and I had to ask for the basil and cilantro. Not bad, not great and it will do in a pinch.

This place opens at 8am and it was great after a night of imbibing much beer. Ordered the Pho Tai Chin, spring rolls and cafe su dah, and the total came to $12.67. They give plenty of veggies for the pho and the service was quick and friendly.

This restaurant was very busy for lunch. I ordered Seafood Pho and it was delicious. We also ordered Vermicelli noodles, sandwiches and other types of Pho. Everyone was happy with what they got.

I've had pho from Hanoi to NYC and this restaurant has some really good pho. It's not the best; a hawker in Saigon holds that title! It's cheap and I promise you'll enjoy!

This restaurant is located in a little corner strip mall with other vietnamese businesses. Excellent food and service Perfect blend of flavors

So good you will love it . Very popular place in Houston midtown and I tried other pho around and none compare to Pho Saigon.

This place is really good and always packed when I go. I believe they have the best Pho in town. Definitely worth checking this place out.

I eat at Pho Saigon any time I am in the midtown area. It is a reliable restaurant where the food quality does not vary. My favorite is the beef stew. It us a rich brougth loaded with large chunks of beef, carrots and onions. I is served with a fresh baugette. I highly recommend this restaurant!

This is one of those little known places that you just have to try. I heard about this place from a friend. She would know good Pho. I tried it and I'm glad I did. Everything I tried was delicious. #40 is a must try The Vietnamese coffee was great.

Pho is good as expected, and price is wright - $6.95 for regular pho and $7.95 for large pho. I don’t think anyone can beat this price!!!

Having spent over 3 months traveling through Vietnam and then tasted good Vietnamese food around the world and across the USA I can honestly say the dishes we had tonight at Pho Saigon were some of the best ever! Prices are exceptionally reasonable yet the food exceeds the value expected at the prices charged. Little things like the hint of fresh mint in the Goi Cuon [fresh spring rolls], the meaty flavorsome Egg Rolls, the nicely smokey & tender char-grilled pork on the Bun Thit Nuong, and the hearty beef stew pho all made for a great meal. The Cafe Sua Da was also the real deal made and served as it is in Vietnam and the coffee used I'm sure was from Vietnam as it has a distinctive flavor. We will be back and will be looking for their other locations. $21- for a meal for 2 in midtown Houston is a darn good deal!

Hate to report this . Pho has a big dose of MSG. I didnt expect this and didnt ask. Felt bad all day after.

Visited on a Sunday afternoon (after the regular lunch time) and it was still busy but got lucky and a table straight away. We had the #10 (fish) and #12 (beef). Very good and got out to us quickly. The iced coffee (with cream) so that we could pour over at the table was another big plus.

Ive been to Vietnam and I've had "real" pho and I can tell you for absolute certain this is as good as it gets. The ingredients are always fresh and the soup base is amazing. Service is ..well...you know..its a Vietnamese restaurant. But face it, your not going there for service. Your going there for a kick butt bowl of noodles and you will NOT be disappointed!

They your order as soon that you are at the table which is little too fast. But once you place your order, voilà the food is ready in a blink of an eye! Highly Recommend this to everyone who like Vietnamese food!

Hmmmmm, I've eaten here 3 times within 2 weeks. This restaurant was my first "pho" experience and I've left feeling satisfied after every visit. I've never gone for dinner and I find their lunch specials to be a good value. Soup tasted very fresh but the chicken in the soup was just meh. I really like this place though...I'll def keep coming back.

This place is always packed at lunch; sometimes there’s even a line. Service is very quick; it has to be. Definite a must for Pho enthusiast.

At last! A pho restaurant that serves more than beef.... you can have chicken or seafood here. At around $6.50 for a big bowl (includes the raw veggies on the side), it's great value. Houstonians have voted this small chain of 9 restaurants as having the best pho in town. Probably so....

If you like pHo, then this is the place. This is where all the Vietnamese immigrants that leave in the area go! And another great thing is the price!! You won't regret it!!

Great Pho, great menu. Great service. I did get the spring rolls, a pho dish and coffee. I will say they did not serve basil with the pho. Guessing you can get it you ask

I come to Houston to travel. My experience in this restaurant is excellent. The pho tastes very good. I also try their soybean milk. OMG the flavor is exactly like the one in my country.

The pho is great. Delicious flavors and inexpensive so great value. The service is always fast, and the place is large enough to handle the lunch time crowds. The parking is pretty limited; though there is roof top parking.

Get in and get out quick lunch spot. The staff knows they are one of the best midtown spots to eat so everything is moving fast in this place. Expect to sit at mass grouping of tables like you did in grade school or prison, which ever is most familiar to you. The food is great and that is why they have nine Houston locations, Austin and even Louisiana. Service is oriented towards moving people in and out but they try to have some customer appreciation unlike most of the Chinese restaurants.

Seated quickly for lunch. food delivered to the table within 2 minutes of ordering. This makes this place a perfect lunch break option. Faster than those hideous fast food chains. Tables are cleared immediately and a wait staff that hustles. The quality of the meal was excellent. We prefer to add the contents ourselves, but that was not enough to change the rating.
Great eats
Hey I enjoy this place the food was excellent as well as the service. Hardly and wait in getting your food. The wait was less then five minutes and great temperature, not to hot or cold just right. If you walk out this place hungry it is your fault. Prices was right inline . People was very friendly and aim to make you happy. Clean place and busy place with little or no wait.i highly suggest this place.
