Amazing Breakfast!

By Anggay T |

Met a good friend here for breakfast this morning and it was amazing! Didn't even know this place excited until today. Everything was perfectly cooked, great service, and restrooms were clean. Highly recommend stopping in for breakfast!

Awesome Diner with Gluten Free options and reasonable prices

By Matthew W |

This was our first visit and I had the gluten free fried chicken and my wife had the steak and eggs special. Bother were amazing! We will definitely be back

Phenomenal Phoebe’s

By Sandandsun29 |

This little diner offers their patrons a wonderful menu that is packed with delicious options . I was pleasantly surprised to find so many gluten free options on the menu . The food arrived in a timeous manner and the coffee was super delicious . Our server was very helpful and was happy to tell us about all the wonderful places to visit in Austin . The diner was super busy while we were there . Lots of the patrons were locals who were repeat customers . This is indicative of the great quality dining experience they offer . I would definitely eat at Phoebe’s diner again!

It was well worth the stop!

By Charwb |

It was well worth the stop. We had the shrimp and grits, crab cake Benedict and the Bloody Mary. We enjoyed the food the service from April is hard to come by. It’s small but very comfortable.

Breakfast

Our son told this place had great food so off we went. Make sure to make reservations because it’s real busy. The service was great along with the food. Little small and cramped. We will go back to this place out next trip

Breakfast Heaven

By Tina W |

Looking for a casual place to grab breakfast near St. Edward’s University and stumbled onto this gem. Probably the best breakfast we’ve ever enjoyed. My husband, son and I all loved our choices. “Best pancakes ever,” reported my son - who’s probably sampled pancakes at 100+ spots. I tried (but miserably failed to conquer the whole plate) the ‘04 Platter - two eggs, a slab of smoked brisket, smoked sausage, hashbrown casserole, pickled jalapeños and onions, and a terrific coffee-laced BBQ sauce. It was stupid good, particularly with my perfect runny yolks.

Unexpected delight...!

By Pkamike |

This was an unexpected delight for my family and I, we had a quick trip to Austin for the weekend and took a walk that lead to Aranza and the team at Phoebe's. The service Aranza gave was warm, welcoming and just comfortable all around. The food, WOW, that was unexpected fun and flavorful to say the least. I don't recall the last time I was so full from breakfast I had to try everyone's and they tried mine. The bevs were a nice touch too. The team reflected Aranza's initial zeal and smile can't wait to go back might have a special trip just to try lunch!

Nice place for brunch

Nice place for brunch. Blueberry pancakes were good as were other choices. Service was cheerful and excellent with coffee refills timely.

Unique breakfast but absolutely delicious . Brussels sprouts for breakfast? YES ! Service was great and servers were friendly.

Excellent Find!

By Rob J |

Wow! What amazing luck to find Phoebe's today. This morning I searched ChatGPT for "best breakfast in Southwest Austin" and this was a winner. We had excellent food and great service. Cheeky Monkey - This is like a scotch egg and was crispy on the outside and fork tender. Bananas Foster French Toast - This tasted like banana bread with awesome whip cream. Smoked Brisket Burrito - A hearty breakfast burrito with tender brisket. The meat had a strong smoky flavor which I loved but was too much for my wife's taste. We have been going to Kerby Lane for years when we visit Austin and this is our new favorite. Great job!

Endless Options!

By Kelly C |

Loved Phoebe's Diner! They are located just down the street from the Austin Mural so it's a nice way to walk off all that goodness! We stopped by around 11:30am on a Friday and there was a slight wait, but it was perfect because it made us just in time for their happy hour at 12! We were seated upfront and the servers were really nice about turning down the fans (it got slightly windy!). I loved everything on the menu but I ultimately decided with the chorizo hash. Service was slightly slow but we didn't mind the wait! It was interesting just to see what the other people were ordering and the loaded tots definitely caught my eye (regret not getting it). I was completely satisfied with my dish though! I loved the green chorizo and the crispy masa cakes!! We also ordered the fried green tomatoes that came with pimento cheese, but I didn't think they were all that great. The fried batter on the outside just didn't pair well with the tomatoes so I might skip that dish! Overall, loved their hot sauces and their main dishes. Excellent service as well! Definitely worth it to check it out!!

Excellent New Year’s Breakfast!

By Craig C |

While visiting Austin, we came here for breakfast on New Year’s Day. What a delicious meal! Items on the menu are all fresh and flavorful. Traditional items and originals are on the menu, so everyone can find something they will enjoy. I highly recommend the hash brown casserole and Chunky Monkey. Very comfortable and great environment, you feel right at home. While we were here, FOX7 was broadcasting a segment on the restaurant on the TVs and the chef even came out with the staff to watch!

One perfect strip of bacon

By Mark C |

After a hellish flight scenario that cost us a day, we just wanted some barbecue ... but it was breakfast time. What to do? My wife located Phoebe's, and it put our short trip to Texas right back on track. -- The '04 Platter: brisket, sausage, ham, eggs, toast, hash brown casserole (kinda mushed-up hash browns ... an afterthough) -- plenty of food, and a good start for my teen son with a big appetite -- Fried chicken biscuit: fried chicken breast, buttermilk buscuit, cheddar, eggs, potatoes, pepper jam. That jam is a great add-on. Very tasty. -- Badass bacon and eggs: They don't skimp on the eggs scrambled eggs (too many places do). But just one strip of bacon? Really? Well - that was my reaction at first, but this single strip of bacon was magical. A true SLAB of bacon. Perfectly cooked up to melt-in-your-mouth, smoky, meaty deliciousness. This single piece of bacon might have been the best piece of meat I had during my visit. So good.

Absolute BEST place in town for breakfast

By Marcos C |

Tried several places for breakfast but this one was by far the best. So much so, that we returned two more times to enjoy the great food and service. Make sure you have the Chicken Biscuit. The BOMB!

There are better places for breakfast

By Victor A |

Very smalk portions for the high price. Tasted ok. Nothing special or memorable. Coffee was good and hot. Nothing included with a mostly a la carte menu

Breakfast at Phoebe’s

By Keith H |

Get there early for a great breakfast at Phoebe’s. I had the crab cake Benedict with potatoes. Great service.

Food earns the excellent rating

By Kyle G |

My partner and I came here before heading to the capital to walk the city and tour the capital building. Food here is spectacular. The food is the only reason I give an excellent rating. We sat at the bar and our server/bartender was pretty darn rude and dismissive. I'm an observant guy and noticed she was the only staff member who acted in that manner. Must have been having a bad day or a bad night prior. Anyhow, food is amazing!

Cool place; good breakfast & service!

By AvdV80 |

Happy I found Phoebe's when I was driving back from some early Sunday morning shopping. Nice place, good service and good food! You can sit at the counter, table or booth. Friendly waiters / waitresses and an interesting menu. I had the Badass Bacon & Eggs which was excellent! If you are in Austin this is a must go for breakfast!

Great diner.

By Karren C |

Amazing food and drinks. Excellent service and the food prep and delivery were amazingly fast. Great staff. Chicken fried stake, biscuits and gravy, wow!

Great Breakfast Place

By MTTX93 |

We had breakfast here. They had an omelette special with alligator sausage and hollandaise sauce and it was fabulous. The service was fabulous as well. The place has only been open since September 2017 and is certainly off to a great start.

Great Bruch Menu

By Wendy Z |

Phoebe’s has a very welcoming and upbeat vibe. We walked through the farmer’s market in Austin on our way to the restaurant and there were a lot of people out and about. We were happy not to have to wait & were seated at a nice table. Our waitress was very friendly & efficient. The food came to the table quickly and the portions were generous. We enjoyed our dishes but both agreed we would order something different in the future.

Just so happen to find this

By our4boyz |

Just so happen to find this place, so glad we did! One of the best breakfasts I’ve had. Got the crab cake benedict. The crab cakes were all crab no filler. Wait staff is as so friendly and looked like they enjoyed their job. Don’t pass this place up.

Busy but great food

By snapshotsofzen |

This place gets super busy on the weekends. Make sure to get on the wait list ahead of time. The restaurant is small and parking is limited. It does look like they have valet service but we were able to find a spot. Our food was amazing. Probably one of the best veggie wraps I have ever had! Service though could definitely improve. Overall I would recommend stopping by if in the area.

Great breakfast spot

By Pwntheth |

Best omelet I’ve ever had. If you like a little spice and burn with your meals, the pimento cheese omelet delivers. We were a party of five and each one of us ordered something different - and all raved about our meals.

Phoebe's Benedict

By digitalroc |

I had eaten here twice, as Phoebe's Diner was in walking distance from where I was staying. I ordered the Phoebe's Benedict ($14.99), and the benedict eggs, ham and hash brown casserole were all very good, however can’t say the same about the biscuits. I ordered a decaf, and after drinking half of it, they came back out to tell me that they gave me regular coffee. It was nice and quiet on the patio but it seemed to get really busy and loud after 9:30AM. The next day, I came back to Phoebe's Diner a bit eariler, and sat out on the patio again. I ordered the Chicken Biscuit ($13.99) with a side of gravy and I found everything on the plate really salty, but it was still decent. The service was hit and miss at Phoebe's Diner. I had multiple interactions with different server, the best was with Ariana, as she was delightful to interact with. Not going to mention the other server names, but they really seemed that they didn’t want to be there. Great Place for Brunch!

By curwin |

Excellent Benedict, migas & French toast. Great service with friendly staff. Short wait. A nice spot for breakfast or brunch.

Best breakfast in Austin!

By Iris H |

Found Phoebe's on the last day of our stay in Austin and so glad we did. Absolutely loved our breakfast there. Coffee was the best we had during our trip. Service was efficient. My husband had deep fried french toast and is still talking about it! I had eggs, thick slab bacon and a delicious homemade biscuit. We both wished we had found this gem a few days earlier.

Delicious brunch - bit of a wait! Has gluten free options!

By Michelle A |

After waiting about 40 minutes to get in, our group of 7 were split up into two booths. We were totally fine with it as we were starving. The food was delicious and oh man - they had GLUTEN FREE FRIED CHICKEN!! I'm celiac so it is a very rare find. It was phenomenal and the grits eith goat cheese were so creamy and delicious. Excellent mimosas as well. I'd say come early so you don't have to wait as long and then definitely indulge!

$4 for take out coffee!

By Jeanne S |

$4 for a take out coffee? Really! Came in 7:55 am oct 27, asked for take out coffee and went to use the restroom. Guy behind counter said $4. I asked him again thinking I heard wrong, nope $4. Wasn't offered a receipt or even asked if I wanted one. Did he keep the $4 and not put in register as a sale? I won't be back, too high a price for a small cup of coffee or should I say nothing special about it coffee to warrant that cost. I didn't check their menu but if the price of cup is any indication of their food prices this is crazy.

Diner with Gluten Free favorites

By Cindy A |

Gluten free options galore. Cozy, unusual menus items and correctly priced. This place makes me feel like I’m glad to live in Austin.

One of my son’s favorites!

By octoberhart |

The Migas with chorizo are one of my son’s favorites. The tater tots were perfect! The rest of my order was incorrect but we were in a hurry so I didn’t complain so we could make it to our movie on time. Our server was nice and I’m not sure where the error was made. The restaurant is eclectic and welcoming. Worth a try.

Best breakfast

By oasis8A5 |

Worth it! This place doesn’t look like much from the outside, but WOW. Our family of five had a great meal and kind, attentive service. The baked eggs and Nutella crepes, the slab bacon and tots...all fabulous!!!

Can't beat Phoebe's.

By SoFlaDave |

Awesome little diner. Best chicken sandwich I've ever had. Nicole is a great server, fast and super nice. Highly recommend Phoebes.

This place is ridiculous.

By 65N20w |

This place is ridiculous. I’m talking - what a special place! Amazing tastes. I would make a special trip to Texas just to grab breakfast here. Great service and very fresh ! Pimento omelette was excellent!

Worth the Wait

By NicMoraXO |

We found this place on Yelp and were a little weary at first. Doesn’t look like anything special. However, the food is unbelievably good! The service is great - waitresses were really pleasant. Must Try: Carrot cake French toast Fried Chicken biscuit with tater tots It’s super affordable and everything we ordered was delicious. No complaints from a table of 8 people. Be prepared to wait though!

Great breakfast spot

By Rob_J_B_85 |

This was a great find in Austin for breakfast. Good selection of items on the menu and excellent service. Definitely recommended!

Delicious Crab Cakes Benedict

By MoiDo |

Phoebe's Diner is a tiny breakfast and lunch place, and it is best to arrive before 9 if you don't want to wait on the weekends. We had gluten free lump crab cakes topped with poached eggs and Hollandaise sauce with skillet potatoes. The servings were generous and it was delicious!

Praying they work on getting better parking

By Amy-Marie M |

Hmmm… the food was good but it wasn’t enough to bring me back and fight against the tiny parking area. My family was preparing to leave Austin to head back home (we had a bit of a drive in front of us) and we opted for this diner because it was less than a mile away from the hotel and had Yelp check in… We ended up having to park across the street and the restaurant was so loud we could not hear anything. We asked the waitress three times for more coffee but she either didn’t hear us or just forgot. I wouldn’t avoid this place but when you have littles you want a restaurant experience that makes both littles and parents happy. We rarely go out and this restaurant just didn’t check all the boxes for that family-friendly vibe

Great Lunch

By NH_Mom_4 |

Visited the downtown location of Phoebe's Diner, just a few blocks from the Capitol. Our group of six was immediately greeted and welcomed. Great menu with enough variety for all in our group. Since breakfast is served all day, it was a nice treat to have crepes for lunch! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Highly recommend Phoebe's!

Not child friendly. Made to feel very unwelcome, left early

By Limyaura |

On vacation from Scotland and noticed that this place was recommended for being child friendly. Went for breakfast this morning and although the food was enjoyable, a server constantly tutted and scowled at my son if he accidentally dropped a piece of food on the floor. He’s 16 months old so this made us feel very unwelcome and we won’t be back nor will we recommend. I did mention to your host but didn’t feel the apology was particularly genuine. Most places in the states are very welcoming to young families but this diner certainly wasn’t. A massive disappointment and we left after eating about half our food.

Great Brunch

By 111Kandy777 |

We were looking for new place for brunch with unique menu items and found them at Phoebe’s diner. The food was delicious, staff friendly and attentive. A great Sunday brunch place!

Delicious Breakfast food!

By AllD13 |

We came here about lunch time. Fun atmosphere, great quick service. Food was AMAZING! I got the Phoebe's Benedict... a take on Eggs benedict with a smokey ham & bisquits... it was absolutely delicious! I will forever compare any eggs benedicts I have in the future to this meal and will likely never find an equal, it was so so good! My husband said the same thing about the omelet he got. One son got pancakes, which were super fluffy & also really really good. Another kid got eggs with bacon, which was thickest bacon we've ever seen... delicious! Would recommend Phoebe's to anyone visiting Austin!

Heavenly Breakfast

By Mary4343 |

My daughter & I ordered French Toast and Steak Omelet/Hollandaise Sauce. Both were excellent. The thick French toast was fried with a side of real whipped cream. The omelet was made with hunks of freshly grilled, seasoned, tender beef. The hash browns were made with cheese. Yum oh! My grandson ordered a bowl of fruit. All the fruit was fresh and cut spoon-sized. Coffee was excellent.

Mediocrity at it’s most mediocre

By cupcake_hull |

Had brunch here on a Monday afternoon. Happy hour gets you a 50 cent savings on a house mimosa. Woo! The mimosa was actually my favorite part of the meal, besides the pickles... Anywho I’d researched the menu and saw they had house made pickles. I asked the waitress some specific pickle questions about the taste. She could’ve offered to bring me a sample of one slice of pickle, but she didn’t. Not the best customer service but that’s fine. I ordered a side of pickles, and they were glorious. My meal was the crab cakes Benedict. My first problem was that there were no biscuits. I asked the food runner and she said there’s no biscuit, the crab cake takes the place of a biscuit. Now, this is my own fault for not paying enough attention to the menu and assuming there’s a biscuit involved...she asked if I wanted a biscuit, but I knew a biscuit cost $4 and I wasn’t about to pay that. I bit into my meal and it was...ok. Lacked serious spices or flavor at all so I had to salt & pepper like mad. The crab cake was fried crispy and really really lacked flavor. The eggs were perfectly poached but the hollandaise was so bland. I got hashbrown casserole, which was really soggy and also flavorless. I added a lot of salt and pepper to that too. The waitress came by to apologize about the biscuit. I said it was fine, I should’ve read the menu more closely. She also said I could order a biscuit, but I told her it was too expensive. A good way to do a little thing that would go a long way is to maybe offer one on the house. Not needed, but definitely would be going above and beyond and would maybe make me want to try again. Didn’t happen though. I won’t review my friend’s meal, but she was also underwhelmed. Also, there’s only one toilet in the women’s room...so prepare for a possible wait. Service was fine, location is good, parking was ok. Won’t be returning to overpay for bland, OK food. Austin has many better options.

Late Breakfast

By Rosalinda J |

The food was yummy and fresh! They had great service and turned the tables quickly but tastefully! All the staff was friendly and courteous!

Cracking Pancakes (flapjacks)

By Kevin G |

Good food and friendly service and good decor. A good spot for a hearty breakfast and reasonably priced.

Well worth a visit.

By glennroid |

Had brunch with 10 people for 2 family birthdays here the other day. Very busy, small restaurant. Very tasty food and excellent service. We all had a great time and enjoyed the experience.

Food worthy!

By MemphisLove2travel |

The breakfast we had at this place was very good. The young man that served us was friendly and patient. This was our 1st time there and it was so worth it. I was looking for a good spot for a quick breakfast and I found just that. I would recommend this place to anyone that's in the area.

Unique menu

By AsianAbroad |

Unique menu with gluten free options (I had the burger with gluten free bread). But definitely would have ordered a traditional breakfast item were there healthier options for side items!

Filling breakfast

By Mary L |

Must say my expectations were not met for our breakfast. The place was recommended by a concierge at our hotel. I had the Phoebe Benedict. It came with a scoop of hash brown potato casserole which could have been hotter in temperature. The biscuit under the ham and egg was somewhat dry and overbaked. The ham was overly smokey which was not to my liking.

Wow! They had to roll me out!

By HPSGene |

Super nice service. The tots, pimento omelet and migas were so good. Do not walk away without having their bacon, either in your dish or as a side!! I was so full after eating, it took me awhile and some coffee to get back to full speed.

Breakfast

By hallyd71 |

If you are looking for a great breakfast brunch stop while in Austin look no further! Excellent friendly service and amazing food reasonably priced

Great Breakfast spot.. interesting and traditional food choices at good value

By CoachJDC |

Had a family breakfast. Lots of seating and generous portions of your traditional breakfast. Shrimp and Grits... solid. Literal slab of bacon with the eggs. (badass bacon and eggs) Good value and excellent service. Too few great breakfast spots like this left as the fast food industry tries and serve breakfast... does'nt come close to the food and experience at Phoebe's diner. Great place

Awesome Breakfast

By kacclt |

Visiting Austin. I’m a breakfast lover and this place was amazing. Had two eggs, brisket, sausage, and potatoes. I forget what they called it but it was great! Brisket just fell apart, sausage had a nice smokey flavor, and eggs were cooked just right. I highly recommend Phoebe’s.

Good Place for Breakfast

By Phillip H |

If you are looking for a good place for breakfast or lunch I would suggest Phoebe's Diner. It doesn't look like much from the outside but the food is worth the stop. They have a great selection of breakfast items to chose from the simple to more specialty type items. Something for everything one. I had the Shrimp & Grits which I would recommend to anyone. There was 8 of us and everyone had something different and there was one dish that wasn't liked

Great food

By J D |

Great food atmosphere was nice and relaxed, this is the second time I was here and really enjoyed it. They have gluten free options.

Be sure to order the Tater

By Joe DiRoma |

Be sure to order the Tater Tot appetizer as well as the Brussel Sprouts. The slab bacon was cooked to perfection as well. The staff was hospitable and engaging. We interacted with numerous staff members, all positive and kind. I highly recommend this for anyone because the prices were great as well!

Sweet find

By Funandfabover50 |

We loved the fun and unusual menu selections and variety of food for breakfast or lunch. We got here just at brunch time. I tried the fried French toast which was recommended by the server. It didn’t have enough flavor for me nor was it tender on the inside as I expected but fun to look at. The thick slice of bacon was awesome, scrambled eggs were perfect. Let’s talk gravy. This was the closest to my grandpa’s gravy I’ve ever had. Very flavorful and peppered perfectly. The biscuit, chicken and over easy egg were awesome. Service was fast and the food was hot. I look forward to another visit to this hoppin diner. Great job!!!

good food, great service

By ALAN W |

This was the first time we came here. We were in Austin visiting relatives. We took part of a day to roam around the city. When it was time for lunch, I looked on idine to see what was in the area, or on our way back to relative. Big portions, good food. Service was great. Prices were a little high for what we got.

A great breakfast

By Ron T |

Our last morning in Ausitin we headed over here for breakfast and glad we did. Everything was perfect. Great bacon and the carrot cake french toast our friend got looked amazing.

So yummy!

By glider1 |

Service was very nice & food was yummy! My husband had the chicken fried steak & he said it was really good! I had the chicken/biscuit w/eggs & that was also delish. If I had to complain about something, it would be that my chicken didn’t seem freshly fried-maybe just warmed up, but it was still good. Too bad it was on our last day, I would’ve returned to try more of their food!

Great new find!

By KathyMcTexas |

After passing by about a zillion times, Phoebe’s was recommended for brunch and I’m always up for brunch someplace new! While it’s smallish and dinerish we were seated right away and our darling waitress, April, took care of us from there! A carafe of blood orange mimosas ordered! Check! Now the menu... served all day till 3 everyday- they had a great mix of fun brunch items as well as lunch sandwiches and salads. I had one of their specials of the day and it was delish! My friend had crab cakes Benedict and she loved hers as well. I thought it was very fairly priced. The carafe of mimosas was $16 and that’s close what we paid at another place for 1 mimosa. Phoebes is a new fave in south Austin. Close to soco but not as busy!

Unique food and drink.

By Terry R |

We sampled the chicken biscuit and green chorizo hash for breakfast, Washed down with a sake margarita and a Mexican bloody- Mary. Great service and reasonable prices..

A wonderful little neighborhood diner

By Orion G |

The girl and I stopped in for breakfast a few days back. I had the Biscuits and Gravy with a couple of eggs on the side, the girl had a bowl of something (didn't catch what she ordered). Service was quick and friendly, the space was bright, cheerful and clean. Food came fairly quickly. The food was wonderful. The biscuit I had (one, cut in half) was light, fluffy and ever so flavorful. The Sage gravy was savory and a beautiful compliment to the bread. This comes to my only complaint. Biscuits and Gravy should be a biscuit SMOTHERED in gravy, not moistened. Gravy is cheap, put some on there! I'm old school I guess. I had a bite of the girl's food and it was really yummy as well. Keep up the good work guys!

High calories but delicious

By Gloria L |

As a light eater, I can only eat about half of their hefty and high caloric entrées. The crab cakes Benedict were tasty. My friend’s Chile Relleno was insanely delicious. My husband liked his baked eggs. The coffee was fresh and hot.

Good Stuff

By TandemBikeRider |

It's right next to a gas station and hard to find, but the locals know where it is. It is best to go during the week as they are very crowded on the weekends. The fried chicken biscuit is excellent and worth the calories consumed.

Awesome. Will return

By Divebabydive |

WOW. Love this place. Truly Austin. It's small. Relavily close to downtown. Food selection was great. Had a had time choosing. I got the shrimp and grits. Wife had briskit with eggs and hollandaise sauce. Love it.

Sign in and Wait

By Steve M |

Interesting menu choices and clearly a fav of younger locals, but if it says an hour wait it will be at least an hour to get seated and if that busy in front so is the kitchen. The food was well prepared and generous portions. Read the menu beforehand and make sure something looks good. Ask if not sure...a slab of bacon is thick cut country (salty). The chicken biscuit was excellent. As parking is limited and traffic can make it harder so get there early or late.

First Timer

By rboykins71 |

First time here. I ordered to go. I am not a fan of restaurants where animals can eat with humans. I enjoyed looking at the food. The pricing was normal for this type of place. Everything looked great. More things to try. I was trying to have a conversation with Melanie but she kept cutting me off. Worth a visit.

The perfect southern breakfast

By scsams |

I ordered the bad ass bacon and eggs. Substituted of biscuit for the toast. The bacon was flavorful and cooked perfectly My eggs were scrambled with cheese and came with a side of the most divine smoked salsa. The hash brown casserole was to die, for I loved the large slabs of onions baked into it

Amazing 🤩

By Brandon J M |

Phoebe’s Diner is the place to eat! Friendly staff/ very knowledgeable about the food/menu. The food is top notch. I have visited both locations in Austin and both were great! Everything myself and husband/family ate was delicious!! We will definitely be back!

Probably the best breakfast in town

By Charles U |

During my Austin visit we went there twice. At first I thought it was a little pricey but the quality of food for breakfast I think is the best breakfast in town. Eggs with smoked coffee bison is “to die for!” And Eggs Benedict dish was wonderful. If you get a chance this is not to be missed, in my opinion and I believe they serve breakfast all day.

Some Good, Some no so good.

By Tis_Brian |

We went for lunch, the Crab Cake Benedict was excellent, would really recommend this dish. The today's special of Philly Cheese Stake Omelette is one dish I would avoid the next time I eat there. The meat was very fatty, and chunky with tough parts, most of the meat was left on the plate. The omelet needed some more spice and seasoning.

Great find.

By Reace S |

Big slabs of bacon. Delicious hashbrown casserole. Giant pancakes. Great coffee. This was a nice find for our weekend trip.

Excellent Breakfast

By Lionel w |

This was a genuine surprise experience. The place is small, efficient and conversationally challenging but I would go back in a heartbeat. My entree was the '04 platter which included a fist-sized piece of melt-in-your-mouth brisket and a large hunk of sausage, both of which were flavorful and accompanied by eggs done as I asked. The cornbread appetizer with the apple butter kept us from drooling at the next tables dishes and started our visit. Our waiter was precise and succinct, he didn't embellish his descriptions so when the food was presented we were surprised by the quantity and taste. I am definitely coming back.

Solid Breakfast/Brunch

By Jason C |

Our party ordered 4 different meals and were all very impressed with the taste. I had the fried chicken biscuit. So good!!!

Great breakfast, great service!

By MAC |

We were in Austin for a week and after discovering Phoebe's, we had breakfast there four days in a row. Make sure you try the Chicken Biscuit for breakfast. It is totally THE bomb!!!!

Great breakfast

By reberascal |

Breakfast was very good, with attentive service and eggs prepared exactly as I asked. A little too hip for my tastes but not annoyingly so. The waiter was sassy and funny and quick.

Excellent Breakfast

By Elizabeth Dickens |

Excelente service, delicious breakfast. We were told a 20min wait which turned out to be much less. Breakfast was large portions, substituted potatoes for toast. Served as ordered.

Exceptional Breakfast!!!

By kristal h |

Exceptional Breakfast! Phoebe's was a nice short walk from our resort. Service was quick and friendly. Our grand-girl was served pancakes immediately to keep her content and given wiki-stix (brilliant!) We all ordered something different...blueberry pancakes, fried chicken and grits, BST omelet (w/ goat cheese), pulled pork bbq benny, bacon, and badass bacon and eggs. Everything was DELICIOUS! I'd say the bacon and the chicken and grits were the stars of the table. The diner atmosphere made for a very fun, casual way to start our day in Austin. We will be back when in Austin.
