Certainly this restaurant represents the cuisine and culture of Brazil !!! Congratulations I will come back more often !!!!!

The best steakhouse in the city! Good drinks Good service Good ambient Food really nice I’ll be back again definitely

It didn't start out well. I made the reservation for my friend's birthday dinner for SATURDAY at 6:45 at least 3 weeks in advance. When I got a phone message FRIDAY requesting that I change the time for TONIGHT'S reservation due to restaurant week, I immediately called to clarify which day. When we arrived SATURDAY and the ungracious hostess unceremoniously informed us that we could only stay for 90 minutes due to restaurant week, we weren't made to feel particularly welcome. In fact we hadn't intended to stay that long. The large room, busy dining area we were then led into lacked any particular ambiance as did our tiny table for two. Fortunately things got way, way better after this. I chose Picanha due to the $45 three course restaurant week special. This experience,as it turned out, was more like a 15 incredibly delicious course special. The salad and warm side bars were practically overflowing with one mouthwatering offering after the next. In Brazilian steakhouse fashion, helpful servers were continuously showing up at our table offering us a slice of assorted perfectly prepared meat. In addition, a very nice man (perhaps a manager) showed up at least twice to make sure that we we satisfied - which at this point, we absolutely were. Because I mentioned this was my friend's birthday, he was bought a slice of a special cheesecake with a candle. Despite a questionable start, would most certainly return here.
Good food and service: pricing questionable
We were warmly welcomed by the staff, who were attentive and helpful throughout our visit. Food was delicious and plentiful and varied. We enjoyed different cuts of steak, shrimps and lamb as well as a variety of salads. We ordered a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon which, when it arrived, smelled and tasted bad / off. The waiter immediately accepted this and recommended a Malbec, which was delicious. When we commented this was more expensive than the wine we initially ordered, he told us not to worry about this. Our only criticism, which was not the server’s fault, was that we did not receive a menu with prices. We relied on the website, which stated $39.95 for the rodizio, Mon to Thurs. When we received our bill, we noticed that we had been charged $49.95 per head for the food and $45 dollars for the wine, which we had been assured would have been $35. To the restaurant’s credit, when we pointed this out, they did reduce our bill by $30, but the tip recommendation was still calculated on the incorrect, higher figure. Just a heads up to scrutinise your bill: it put us in an embarrassing situation of having to bring this to the attention of the staff and made us question whether this was routine practice? Nevertheless, the food was very good, as was our service. Restaurant manager - please note and ensure the website either reflects the true cost and that diners are given a menu so they know what the actual price of their meal will be.
