Burned Red Snapper

By BAB-BAB |

Beautiful restaurant and great staff, but I ordered one of the dinner specials, Red Snapper, and it was burnt. It was in a pan too hot and it burned. My husband ordered the Osso Buco and it was perfect. Delicious! We ordered the Coconut Carrot cake with caramel sauce and it too was delicious. I would eat here again, but gave it three stars for burnt fish.

Old school Vegas so much better than all new restaurant s

Service and food fantastic. Would definitely recommend to friends great ambience and chef menu very nuce

Excellent atmosphere and dinner

By GranburyDad_12 |

We walked by this place on the way to another restaurant. Due to the wait at the other, we decided to go here. They were very accommodating to our large group that wasn't up to dress code standard and no reservations. All the food was great... went with Joe's recommendation on bone-in veal parmesan... wow!! Fantastic dish! We didn't have time for desert, but they all looked great as well.

A little disappointed

By Marsha W |

Average Italian food but above-average service for the most part. Overpriced cocktails. Crowded and cold (overpowered by air conditioning in November) and so noisy you can barely hear your waiter, and so dark you can barely read the menu and your bill. Very polite and attentive staff. Management most apologetic adjusted bill due to food order errors. Not the best experience but would be willing to try them again.

Decent taste but 0 value

By Brandon |

Food was alright but 0 value. I ordered the Truffle Cream Orecchiette. It’s supposed to have prosciutto in it, but I would have been lucky if I found 1 oz of prosciutto in that pasta. If you’re charging $43 for a pasta, at least give us some sort of value there. They put plenty of peas in it, about a whole $.50 worth, which is probably the same amount of money spent on the prosciutto. That was a pasta that cost the restaurant $5 max to make and they’re charging $43. I understood I was going to an expensive restaurant, but I expect to get my moneys worth, and it just wasn’t there at Pieros. I’ll spend the $45 on pasta at Ferraros next time, at least I don’t have to eat a protein bar when I get home after eating there.

A great Italian gem in Vegas!

By John R |

Service was excellent from maître d’ to servers. Started with Tito’s vodka martinis with blue cheese stuffed olives - nice touch to do them at table. Enjoyed regular Caesar salad (not the house specialty “Dirty Caesar” which sounded excellent. I had Osso Buco - a personal fave and I was not disappointed. Good portion and very tender and juicy. Even came with thin fork for the marrow. Came with fettuccine finished with Osso buco gravy. One of the best I’ve ever had. My partner enjoyed Chicken Parmesan - good portion, finished perfectly. Pasta again was excellent. Cappuccinos and carrot cake to finish. Overall, I don’t know that we could have been happier with the meal, service and experience.

Piero’s is Perfection!

By Chris |

Where do I begin!! My absolute favorite place for dinner while in Vegas! My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our recent evening there. Drinks at the bar were Fantastic! Between the two of us, we ordered the Garbage Caesar, Oysters, Veal Chop Parmesan, Chitarra Spaghetti (we had them add a meatball), and Cannoli. We were also treated to Vegetables and Cream Corn. Everything was done to perfection. The wait staff, bartenders and management are all at the top of their game. So, so much appreciated!! After dinner, we visited the bar once more for a drink and live music. What a perfect evening! Thank you, Piero’s!

Italian Food Heaven

By George W |

I took a group of eight to celebrate a successful National Sales Conference and it was fabulous. Definitely old school Vegas. Our waiter, Junior, was terrific, very attentive, did a great job on recommendations, made everyone feel special. I had the Osso Bucco and it was the best I’ve had. From the cocktails to dessert everything was perfect. Our Uber driver overheard us talking about Piero’s and he said he’s reluctant to tell people about it, fearing he wouldn’t be able to get a table. I would seriously consider flying to Vegas just to have dinner at Piero’s.

Perfect service, delicious food. Run to this place

By netta7 |

Wonderful dinner! First our service was amazing. Nay was our back waiter and John was our front waiter. Both were outstanding! The food was delicious. We had the garbage salad - a must do. We also had the Sunday gravy so good and the shrimp scampi. Normally the scampi comes with zucchini noodles but you can have it with half pasta, which was perfect. We can’t wait to return.

Move over Ma

Wow .. the food was outstanding ( better than my mother-in-law who’s very Italian?) The service friendly, helpful and attentive at all times Atmosphere classy and authentic I am in love xo Will return and highly recommend Enjoy

One of the Best

By soldier_21A |

One of the best restaurants i have been to excellent food and great service. Ate at the bar. Everyone treated me first class. It was my second time there and they remembered me from a previous visit two months prior. If you are traveling out of Vegas I recommend staying at the Marriot Courtyard Convention Center or the Residence inn next door. The hotels are literally a five minute walk to Pieros. Then fly out the next day.

Step back in to mid 1970s here

By MooshLA |

Step back to Vegas circa 1976 when you walk in - so A+ for nostalgia however I don’t think they were aiming for that, rather haven’t had the funding to renovate the iconic location. It’s park steak part seafood and mix in traditional Italian menu that you’ll find here. I ordered the salmon which arrived somewhat overcooked and tasting straight out of a banquet hall kitchen. Lots of shellfish or meats mixed in to the options so pescatarians be careful. The Garbage Caesar Salad was just OK and certainly not deserving of all the accolades your sever will share about the dish. Service was excellent, lighting is super low.

We'll be back!

By MarkFullen |

Perfect service, food was delicious and plentiful. These people know how to make a night out A NIGHT OUT! Now on my top tier list when in Vegas.

Great atmosphere and menu

By leftyquince |

I’ve dined at Piero’s several times and it never disappoints. The menu offers excellent food and drinks. The atmosphere is cozy and warm. It is definitely old school Las Vegas style. I have ordered several items on the menu—from their signature dish, veal osso bucco, to their staple Sunday Gravy. All excellent. Service is 5 stars!! We will definitely come back to Piero’s when we are in Vegas.

Superb restaurant

By Gallo |

Probably one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever dined at. Split a veal Osso buca and it was the best ever. Service was flawless and decor is warm and relaxing. Tried the Trip Advisor #1 rated Italian 2 days later and it was a bit of a disappointment in comparison. I think the ratings should be flip flopped. Came back to Pieros with another couple a few days later and had apps and drinks at the bar. Exceptional again plus the service and atmosphere are over the top. More food than we could finish and it was just appetizers and bread. Very impressive.

Bad service and slow

By Phillip P |

Really bad service And took tooo long Food was ok.... not as good a last time Looked catered to older crowd Understaffed??? Bad management

Nothing better…..

By partyof2 |

NOTHING BETTER! In a city with expensive, lackluster food that survives on shock and awe, Piero’s consistently delivers an experience and product that restores one’s faith in Vegas. Business dinner? YES! Anniversary/Date night? YES Birthday? YES Appetizers and drinks at the bar before a show? YESSSSSSS Piero’s and a bottle of red is always a decision that will not disappoint. When I’m tired, hot, bored, and overwhelmed by the shiny lights and greasy people of the desert town, Piero’s feels real, authentic, and good. Beef carpaccio and a salad when it’s hot, osso bucco when it’s cold….. but the eggplant is also a favorite. Branzino special is a must. I could throw a dart at anything on the menu and be happy!

I could have ordered better

By Russ A |

Was trying to stay low carb and was told not to order the fish soup on a busy night as it gets over-cooked, so I ordered steak. It was well-cooked but not the best meat. Everything else was very good. The crab and the shrimp were spectacular.

Old Vegas

By eilat59 |

This place is a trip back in time. Good food, professional service, 60’s decor. With the amazing food scene in Las Vegas I don’t know how this place has survived as long as it has. It’s an institution.

Delicious

By EPF15 |

My colleagues and I had another great meal at Piero’s. Friendly service by Mika & team and the food was amazing. Best veal Parmesan I’ve had in a long time. Looking forward to returning!

Vegas Neo Old School Impresses from the First Step in the Door

By MrGaucho1987 |

Piero’s is old-school Vegas class. But not the worn-around-the-edges red leather old-school you can still find here. Instead, it’s the beautifully decorated, high-end and well-maintained class that tells you from the moment you walk in the door that you’re in for something special. There are various rooms each with its own ambiance. On a busy Friday night, we dined in a smaller, quieter and more intimate side room. It was wonderful. Our service was impeccable. Our guide for the evening was Brendon (perhaps Brandon) and his able assistant who provided us attentive and personal assistance during our meal. We started with cocktails that did Vegas very proud. Strong and very flavorful. As for the food, it’s clearly above average and certainly well prepared. The crab cake was huge and meaty with a delicious sauce. The Italian salads were fresh and creative. My chicken parm was huge and good, not great. And my colleague's shrimp dish was well received and featured huge shrimp (no pun intended) We left full and well satisfied. Piero’s is not the best Italian food I’ve ever enjoyed, but it’s solid, and the memorable experience will keep me returning here every time I visit Vegas.

Excellent food !

By normaserafin |

We went to dinner, very nice atmosphere, looks very classic, great service.. we waited for our table at the bar with an excellent martini.

Good food!!

By Niels |

A super cozy restaurant, with sweet and helpful service. Got a mixed dish of local dishes and a good bottle of red wine, all for a reasonable price.

Wonderful Venue! Highly Recommended!

By Mark42139 |

We hosted an event here, and it is a remarkable venue to host events! The staff were truly fantastic, and were all consummate professionals. In particular, Theresa, was truly outstanding, and we thoroughly enjoyed working with her! I would definitely recommend Piero's, as it has wonderful ambiance, incredible staff, a great location (right across the street from the Convention Center), and a large selection of food and beverages. Thank you Theresa and the entire Piero's staff!

Incredible

By johnks101 |

Atmosphere, professional staff and we met some amazing people waiting for our table at the bar. Let’s talk about the authentic Italian food. One of signature dishes was a butterflied veal chop parmigiana that was HUGE. The salad was very unique and of course the wine tops it all off. If your on a budget, probably not the place to go. Really cool place its where the locals go. For example, one of the co owners of a casino hotel eats there 2-3x a week. In fact we are sitting at the El Cortez in old downtown Vegas as I write this review.

Fantastic food, excellent service and an amazing ambiance

By WilsonsWay |

Fantastic food, service and ambiance. Homemade pasta, excellent cocktails, and extremely pleasant and attentive wait staff made this a 5 star meal experience for us. Yes, it’s pricey but well worth it. Just excellent is all I can say.

“A screwdriver and a ladder”

By Andrea1978ROMA |

“A screwdriver and a ladder” would have been the best order possible. To remove any reference to Italy in this restaurant. Very low-level carpaccio, inedible bolognese, pre-cooked vodka penne. It's called Italian. We'll change it.

Old school Italian

By gondekp |

Went for the first time and definitely has the feel of being a Vegas classic. Not for from the strip, walking in takes you back in time. Dimly lit, dark wood is everywhere. I was able to make a reservation for a bar seat which was all I needed. Started with a cocktail and this may be my only critique. I order a manhattan straight up and it came out of a shaker instead of being stirred. I’m a sticky for details especially with cocktails. I was good so minor detail. I had the mussels. They were great. White wine, garlicky, spicy broth. The pasted focaccia took it next level. I wanted pasta with some sort of tomato sauce. I went with the rigatoni bolognese. Also great. Portion wasn’t too big but was plenty. I had a glass of wine with the meal. The bartender and other servers were on the ball the whole time. Good with suggestions and polite. I tend to stay off the strip and this was worth the trip.

Great food, service was very slow

By Tim O |

We enjoyed a fine meal. I had the ravioli appetizer which was incredible. My salmon portion was very large and perfectly cooked. And the cheesecake was the best I've ever had. The downside was the time it took, our meal lasted 2.5 hours. That may be ideal for a date. But for a business or friends dinner it was tooooo long.

Fabulous Italian Food!!

By Elaine D |

I would have given the restaurant 5 stars except they didn’t open their doors until exactly at 5:00 when a lot of us stood in the cold. Our reservations were for 5:00 so why not open 15 mins. ahead. It took them 15 mins to sit us once we got in for first reservations. The food was truly outstanding. There were 6 of us and we each loved our dishes!! The service was outstanding as well.

Great Italian restaurant right off the strip

By wldwky |

Our first time dining here. Service was spot on but not overbearing. Food was delicious. Prices not bad and ambiance was like I like an Italian restaurant, dark and quaint. We definitely be back when we get back to Vegas.

Outstanding

By Walt W |

Were do you start when rating a first class dining experience. Over the top evening that will satisfy the most critical critic. The service was impecable as one of the managers explained the menu in detail. The portions were large where you will need a human bag, no sense of giving this food to the doggie. Leave room for the deserts. Not an inexpensive evening, but definitely somewhere to go for that special occasion.

Not worth the price

By bearabo |

We dined a Piero's primarily because of wine list they published on their website. It was your basic bait and switch. None of the wines we determined to be good values were available. We learned from our waiter that they do not update their website. The food was medium, not great, not horrible, but very expensive. I would not recommend restaurant unless you want to pay to much, have your expectations unfulfilled and be treated like a tourist.

A Wonderful Evening

By Susan |

From start to finish a great evening! Definitely try their signature Osso Buco. The meatball appetizer and bone in veal were equally as delicious. The servers worked as a team and were very attentive. On Saturday night there was a friendly relaxed vibe in the lounge. The live entertainment was a real bonus. Located near the convention center, Piero’s is well worth the short cab ride.

Can’t Wait to Go Back!

By SAEEC |

First time visiting Piero’s and wow were we impressed. Food and service were both outstanding. In terms of the service the staff was extremely attentive and very friendly. They May the experience that much better. On to the food. We had oysters and stone crab claws and both were excellent. We could have added a few more of those crab claws and made it the main course. The main course we ordered the Osso Buco which was amazing. Tender, fall of the bone. We also had the shrimp scampi which we also had enjoyed. Wine menu was vast offering a wide selection with a good range of prices. While we skipped dessert the options looked great.

Lost some of its shine

By Michael I |

Service and food have fallen below there usual excellence. Tried several dishes that were once favorites bot now are only mediocre. Prices are above the value.

One of the best spot in Las Vegas

By jmLondon845 |

One of my favourite spot in Vegas. Perfect food, service and atmosphere. We had stone crabs again, but better than at Joe Stone crab, and a fantastic Osso bucco, with a wonderful California wine and a delicious dessert. Of course we will return, we love it.

Get off the strip Piero’s is worth it

By Jackie R |

This place was fantastic. The service was wonderful and the food was spectacular. Our waiter was very engaged and charming. Get ready to eat because the portions are like everything else in Vegas, bigger and better. The quality of the food and the preparation was very well done. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Classic Italian food and service

By Richard S |

The service and atmosphere is excellent, bested only by the wonderfull old time Italian food! This is a must visit location for a special time inVegas.

A Great Evening

By ashle4 |

We had a great evening at Piero's. Jason gave us great service. There were a lot of specials, which he described like a pro. His timing was impeccable, allowing us to enjoy our cocktails (they make the best martini), before appetizers, salad, then mains. Standout dishes were the Steamed PEI Mussels, Penne Vodka, House Salad and best of all, the Veal Chop Parmesan. I will be tasting that one for awhile. Look forward to another meal at Piero's in the future.

RIP off

By Muskymaj |

They neglect to tell you what the off menu specials cost. 8 stone crab cost $176!!! And they are served cold. When I mentioned to the manager they should tell their customers what their meals will cost she got very angry with me.

One of A Kind

By Phil P |

This place is great, especially the service which I rate 5 star +. Parking is complimentary. Food is very good, with the "Garbage" Caesar and Carrot Cake being standouts. I had the Bolognese which was above average with house made Rigatoni. I would have preferred Angel Hair Pasta which seems lighter to me. I highly recommend Piero's a "one of a kind" dining experience.

Highly recommend. Must have reservations.

By Paris60 |

Peiro’s was recommended by a friend. He now says that every trip to Las Vegas will included a dinner at this restaurant. I took my family on our day of arrival. We loved it so much we returned two days later. Great food, atmosphere and service.

Old School Italian

By traveler |

Fantastic experience. You know you are in a good restaurant when the bar tender asks for your name (while you wait on a table ) so that he can notify you when table is ready. This place reminds me of a time when restaurants actually want to take care of clients. True Italian tradition of taking care of you. Food was excellent classic Italian. Experience this place before they all disappear.

Expected Much Better

By WestieGirlPDX |

Based upon their reputation and several recommendations, we expected much more from this restaurant. Overall, we found the service to be fair and the food average, at best. With so many exceptional restaurants in Vegas, I would pass this one by, unless you're looking for a bit of Old School nostalgia.

Lack of prompt service = an unpleasant dining experience

By debbieginmd |

I think waiting an hour and a half for entrees is a bit much to ask. Although we were seated early and received our water and bread immediately, our server didn't show up for nearly 10 minutes afterwards. No bar menu and I had to ask for the wine list. Although the food is good, the wait for it is not worth it! Perhaps this old line establishment should consider taking fewer reservations and giving its customers better service. Very Disappointed!

Great discovery - we’ll be back!

By JimW551 |

Ate here tonight - we were not disappointed! Wow! Micah - our server was fantastic- kudos! Their bread is killer. We had two Manhattans and they were a 10. We had the Buratta as an appetizer. I could have ended with this as my main - absolutely delicious! So fresh! I had the linguine and clams and my wife Sunday gravy. Huge portions and very tasty. Each has a kick. Brussels sprouts were excellent. Desserts to die for.

Top-Notch In Every Way! Exceptional Customer Service and Food!

By Henrietta F |

My husband and I ate at Piero's last week with another couple for the first time and it did NOT disappoint! The interior is dimly lit (which we liked) and as soon as we were seated, we were given the drink menu and our questions were answered about recommendations, etc. It didn't stop there, the food menu was discussed in detail and I must say, the food is FANTASTIC!!!!! My husband and I each started with the Maui onion salad (although my husband called it the "mad onion" salad, LOL) and it was delicious. For the entree, we shared the osso bucco and the veal chop parmesan. OMG! Words can't describe how good this food was! And even though we shared it, the portion was enormous! Very glad we each didn't order one as there would be no way to finish that. We had 4 different people waiting on us and those guys were AMAZING!!! They never let our drink glasses get empty and were always checking on us to make sure we didn't need anything. On top of that, they had a great sense of humor, which we greatly appreciate. I have to give a shout out to these guys as it is very hard to find top-notch service these days but these guys exceeded our expectations. I just can't say enough about the exceptional service they provided us and we will absolutely be back next fall for our annual Vegas trip. Shout out to Joe Robinson, Mika, Billy and Rayden! Absolutely amazing customer service! Loved it! Henrietta

Dinner and a Show

By Hoopoo |

We booked Piero’s for a Saturday night as we wanted to see Pia Zadora in the Monkey Bar. When we arrived for dinner we were offered a booth in the bar, as they had noted our interest in seeing Pia. We had the booth for the night and enjoyed a fine meal (best veal saltimboca ever) and excellent service, and not only Pia but Sonny Charles in an intimate, old school lounge environment. Piero’s is a class act, and a really enjoyable place to go for a night out off the strip.

Very enjoyable evening

By Hudhuku |

Really lovely old world feel place in Vegas. The booth seating is very cosy. Enjoyed the shrimp starter - v good! T-bone streak was huge - so definitely did not go hungry and perfectly cooked. The service was also attentive and they certainly made you feel special. Overall - a very enjoyable evening - thank you.

Authentic Italian restaurant friendly service

By OasisBound T |

Our neighbor always came here whenever he was at the convention in Las Vegas. He highly recommended Piero’s and we were not disappointed. Price point is high but the food and service were great. The staff were attentive and friendly.

Loved it!

By cindyb1961 |

Located next to our hotel, convenient, had good atmosphere. Sat at the bar, just walked in and excellent service. Loved the food. Wish I had time to eat there again.

Bone In Veal Parmesean

By Jessica C |

Had an incredible meal here. I’ve been around Italian food my entire life. This may have been the best bone-in veal Parmesean I’ve ever had. It melted in your mouth! We got a side of rigatoni in bolognese...also incredible. If you’re looking for a delicious, quiet Italian dinner this is where to go.

Delicious Food; Prepare for the Upsell

By David_The_Blue |

The food was delicious, however I was really annoyed at the wait staff for their relentless "up selling." It felt like they were less concerned about our experience and concerns than they were with maximizing the cost of the meal. Examples: I ordered a bottle of wine for the meal and they suggested I order 2 because "we only have 4 bottles left." They pushed desserts and coffee, refilled my wine glass even when I told them that I didn't want more. They push the specials which are pretty expensive relative to the rest of the menu, and of course don't reveal the prices of the specials.

Top-notch dining experience

By RPMCanes |

This place is easily the best Italian restaurant in Las Vegas, quite possibly anywhere. It's a little on the pricey side, but definitely worth it. Very much an old-school feel to it, and the staff is very attentive and informative. Lots of history here also if you're a movie buff, with parts of the movie Casino being filmed here.

Crazy expensive

By Dale W |

The food was excellent, and with the exception of our waiter being unable to split the bill between couples, the service was excellent. The portion size of the Scaloppine Parmigiana was insane. Could have fed 4 people easily but very tasty. Huge wine selection. Make sure your credit card has room on it. I can’t get over paying 29$us for a bowl of fettuccine alfredo. That’s almost 40$ Canadian... for a bowl of noodle and sauce. It was good, but it could never be that good...

Viva Las Vegas (but not pieros)

By micavaco2 |

Long wait for subpar food. Took forever to get seated with a reservation. Would never go back as there are plenty much better restaurants.

Very good restaurant

By Kem B |

very good food & lots of it. It is a comfortable place & we'll definitely go there again when next in Vegas. The lighting is a bit dark but fine. The service is good, not excellent.

The Godfather, Redux

By Jeremy K |

This is old-school Italian. It could have been located in North Beach, San Francisco. The drinks are LARGE! The food is delicious--and very large portions. I wine list is extensive and not unreasonable for such inventory. The wait staff is friendly and is happy to oblige. The restaurant is next door to the Marriott Hotel on Convention Center Drive, off the Strip. Highly recommended!

not worth the money

By rick s |

went to Pieros last night for a birthday dinner. The place seemed very disorganized as to the seating and wait staff for guests. Food is average and very overpriced. Wine is also expensive and the wine steward seemed very confused as to getting and opening then serving the wine. Basically opened the wine and put it on the table for us to pour and experience. Had to constantly get someone to provide service. Much better italian restaurants in the Las Vegas to frequent.

My best night in Vegas

By Jordan C |

We missed our time slot for a table booking (we where very late), the staff where able to set us up at the bar. From there we received first class service with exceptional food and master crafted drinks. The entire team is friendly and incredibly good at what they each do. A special shout out to Bri on the bar o/. You and the team are fantastic!

Top Notch Eatery

By xyz |

We stayed at the Marriott at the convention center and were delighted to find Piero's was literally 50 steps away from the hotel. It is a wonderful Italian place with all the trappings of a high end operation. The waiters were plentiful and efficient, the wine list was perfect, and the menu had everything you could want in an Italian restaurant. It has a quiet ambiance which I would call very romantic. The food was excellent and overall it was a class act. Two thumbs up for Piero's - you will love it.

As good as its gets!!

By amortellaro |

I love this place! Been there 5 times now! It's got everything you could ask for. Its a Classy Joint with lots of history and character, great food and cocktails, and first rate service - Thanks Timmy!! I love the Italian meatballs and the Stone Crab for appetizers, famous garbage Ceaser Salad (has avocado and shrimp), and Veal chops or Veal Parmesan for entrees. Everyone loved what they ordered! The one time I ordered the 22oz bone-in ribeye, it might have been the best I've ever had. Top that off with some incredible Amarone wine and you've got an amazing night to remember!

Excellent

Had a corporate gathering and had a great meal with great service.Located right off the strip and worth the ride.

Delicious Authentic Italian Food with a Great Atmosphere

By Bubba |

I had an amazing dining experience here with truly authentic Italian cuisine. Every dish we tried was packed with rich, genuine flavors that really transported me straight to Italy. The pasta was perfectly cooked, the sauces were fresh and flavorful, and the ingredients clearly high-quality and authentic. Beyond the food, the atmosphere was fantastic — warm, cozy, and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed meal with friends, family, or even a romantic night out. The staff were attentive and friendly, adding to the overall great experience. If you’re craving real Italian food paired with a lovely ambiance, this place definitely won’t disappoint. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

Italian doesn't get any better than Piero's!!!!!

By Eric B |

I thought about what I should list as a "must try" dish, but after visiting Piero's for 18 years, I would probably list the entire menu. Everything is amazing, literally. And the owner is in the restaurant, and cares about your experience. Piero's is a must try restaurant in Vegas.

Found that this restaurant was within walking distance of our hotel

By scouser1077 |

So pleasantly surprised to find this quality restaurant, heavily booked for the night but we managed a couple of seats at the bar. Wonderful service from attentive bar staff, very busy but we did manage to engage in conversation towards the later end of our meals. Started with Cosmo for my wife and a great vintage Manhattan for me. No rush which suited us perfectly, The food was some of the best we have had in Las Vegas, from the Lobster Bisque to the Osso Bucco to their own Profiteroles hands down a huge winner and strongly recommended.

Overrated

By Tami Roman |

Piero's...overrated, over promised and under delivered. I was not impressed by this place AT ALL. The best thing about it was the service. I visited this establishment during a weekend getaway with my husband to Vegas. They tout themselves as the best Osso Bucco & Veal Parmigiana in Vegas. We decided to try those specialties and was greatly disappointed. OB was under seasoned and meat was EXTREMELY TOUGH. It allegedly was braised for 3 hours... meat wasn't tender at all. Veal parmigiana was under seasoned and simply drowned in flavorless sauce & cheese. I took the OB to go, planning to give to my friends puppy, I ultimately ended up throwing it away. I also had the beef carpaccio... again, underwhelmed and the vinegar dressing was overpowering. The chef did send us complimentary sides of cream corn & veggies. They were very tasty! Try those if you vIsIt. Now outside of that, we had a nice booth table, located where we were able to watch the TVs while dining. The actual servers were excellent. The restaurant was a little dark for my personal taste. They definitely have ample parking and they serve large portions, which would be great if you actually liked the dish you've ordered.

Avoid at all costs, do not

By Alexis_Fecteau |

Avoid at all costs, do not ever go. Forced valet, outsourced of course, gave my car to the wrong person. Then gave me the wrong car and said it was mine, " only Toyota Camry all day". Obviously it was at least the second. Restaurant zero help, basically "too bad, wasn't us f off," We outsourced and have zero accountability" wow UFB By the way there was a backed up or broken sewer because the entire restaurant smelled like a colon. Good God avoid like the plague. I hate myself for staying there.

Mafia-Style Italian in Vegas.

By Expert Traveler |

We conducted a large business dinner here in the back room. I kept waiting for Sharon Stone or Robert De Niro from Casino to appear and say hello. This has an old-school Vegas feel. We had a very large group and they still did a very good job serving us. The food was excellent. I enjoyed the salad and the osso bucco. It was called a garbage salad. It was quite incredible. This is off of the main strip. It’s its own building, it’s not in a casino. I recommend for a unique experience in Vegas. It’s not like the regular fine-dining in the casinos. This is unique and feels like old Vegas.

The food is stupendous, but the service was poor this time

By cmlellmom |

My husband and I visit Piero's every time we travel to Vegas. It has been our favorite for years. This time, the food was as wonderful as ever, but the service was so bad that we thought we might be on an episode of Candid Camera. We called 2 weeks in advance for a reservation, as we wanted to make sure we reserved the time and table location that we love. When we arrived, the hostess was very gracious and told us our table would soon be ready. We had a drink at the back bar and the bartender, a woman whose name I wish I could remember, was excellent and my cosmo was perfect. The hostess returned to tell us that the table we had asked for was no longer available, and that we would have to wait for another close by. We were OK with that, as we know that everything about Piero's has been worth it in the past. When the hostess retuned, she offered us a table nearby, but it turned out to be an awful location near the waiter/service stand. Had I been paying attention, I would have said we'd eat at the bar with the wonderful bartender. Having been seated, it took over 20 minutes to see a waiter or a menu. From there, the service went downhill quickly. It took forever to get water, bread, place an order, have the food delivered, etc.. The table next to us, made up of 4 - 5 men, was seated, served, ate and left before we got our dinners. I was amazed. In the end, we were so frustrated that we skipped dessert and an after diner drink, which we normally would have enjoyed there. So, while the food was as perfect as ever (I had the shrimp cocktail and the veal saltimbocca, while my husband had a steak), the service was so bad that we left before the last course. This experience will probably make us think twice before going back to Piero's during our next trip to Vegas.

Still my Favorite Vegas Eating Spot

By Kelly S |

Food, Service and Ambience the way it should be. Whether pasta, steak or seafood, every bite is always great. Old style red booths and dark wood....YES, and you can actually hear your table mates in conversation too. We try to go at least 2x / month! Live music on Saturdays, free / easy valet parking

Piero's lives up to its reputation

By cherylrA1956IG |

We dined at Piero's in Las Vegas and everything was superb! The shrimp cocktail has jumbo shrimp and a fiery hot cocktail sauce. Their "garbage" salad is delicious. Their regular salad is good too. Their seafood specials were outstanding. The swordfish was very flavorful and served with mashed potatoes and broccoli The fettuccine alfredo was the best I have ever tasted. I would definately recommend. Pricey, but definately worth the splurge.

Classic high class restaurant

By Robert G |

Impeccable service. Nice menu choices. Meatball appetizer was interesting. 2 nice sized meatballs, but not overly seasoned The jumbo shrimp scampi were very nice. Large and tasty. Osso Buco was flaborful. Definitely a filling meal. Double chocalate rum cake was nice, tasty, and a good portion size. Creme brulle was nice too. Lots of other deserts. Full bar.

Underwhelmed

By AHL1 |

Food was good, not great, but decent. My Caesar salad was overdressed and lacking flavor, plus it was mostly Romaine white stalk and not the green parts of the lettuce. So that was disappointing. The Fritto Misto was good, but it was all calamari - there were no shrimp on our plate. The osso bucco was good but nothing to write home about..... My friend also thought that the tomatoes in his tomato and burrata salad were poor quality. I was hoping for top of the line, old world Italian food. This was definitely old world Italian, but I thought that the flavors and refinement were lacking in all of the dishes I ordered.

Wonderful experience

By Emily M |

Very good food but service was outstanding! You are treated so well from start to finish that it makes up for high prices. The raspberry cheesecake was probably the best I’ve had in my life.

SCAM

WAITERS ARE SCAMS STAY AWAY. DO NOT Have dinner here, poor service watch your bill. They add where they can. Steer clear.

Italian and service at it's best

By BobCMiddletown |

Wow,were from New Jersey so you know we love really good Italian. Piero's lived up to it's reputation. All of our meals were over the top incredible. Very nice intimate dining room with a great bar. The service was flawless. The restaurant was a 5 minute taxi ride from the Venetian. If you love the best Italian food there is go here !! It was the moist memorable meal and evening we had in Vegas

Very Good!

By boyohboy10 |

We arrived without a reservation but were seated right away. The atmosphere in the dining area is quiet and the service was very good. The meal was excellent.

Good for once

By Monika K |

At the begining lady in reception was strange and not polite. She gave us the worst placed table because we were not guests of hotel. Later the waiter was treating all the time to sell sometime g and was unnaturally kind. We both took linguini frutti di mare. Was really good because there was a lot of frutti di mare but linguini wasn't home made. The atmosphere was strange. We didn't like this place. I will never go there again.

Truly Amazing Food and Service

By Atkinstravelers |

This was a truly amazing experience from start to finish. I really don’t know where to start, but I will definitely say the entire experience was Amazing from the time we pulled up to the entrance until we left the building. We were seated in a private room near the kitchen, this was an incredible experience within itself. The staff treated us like we were Royalty to say the least, we had 4 or 5 staff members most of the time and we wanted for nothing. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was just icing on the cake. There were 6 of us eating, and not one person was disappointed in the food or service. I am not sure how we managed to get the private room, but this part of the building made you wonder who all had eaten in this very room. The restaurant is what you think of when you think of the Original Las Vegas, and speaking of this restaurant is in the movie Casino. This will definitely be our first reservation on return trips, and we have already been telling anyone who is going to Vegas that they must go and eat here. Thanks to each of the Staff for make a Great Memory for each us.

Mythical old school restaurant

By Duane De Laurentiis |

A slightly off-center Italian restaurant, a survivor of the old Las Vegas and frequented by locals. This is where many scenes from Martin Scorcese's masterpiece 'Casino' were filmed. If you're a fan, ask for the 'Sharon Stone' table. The food is good but gargantuan, you won't make it to the end. The service is sometimes a little too eager. You get asked every 5 minutes if everything is okay, after a while it gets annoying.

Never EVER Going Back

By nware1 |

This review is based on my most recent experience - I made reservations 9 weeks before the date, for a group, for a business dinner of 8 people. Four weeks before, they call and ask me to move the time back to fit a private party that booked the restaurant in its entirety - I obliged and moved my reservation from 7pm to 8pm. Today, a litte over a week before the reservation, they call and cancel my reservation for the private party decided to book the restaurant for the entire night, and I (and others with reservations) will have our reservations cancelled. That tells me everything you need to know about this owner. He does NOT care about customer service at all, and took the big money over those of us who frequent the restaurant. Now, finding a restaurant that can handle a group of 8, on a Friday night, during convention time - thanks Piero’s for leaving me out in the rain. Never going back and I suggeat you all go to FERRARO’S ITALIAN RESTAURANT & WINE BAR instead. They care about customer service and their reviews show it.

Classic Italian Cuisine

By Barbara M |

Old time favorite with a long list of celebrity clientele. Excellent food and service. I had fresh oysters on the half shell that were delicate in flavor, absolutely delicious. The cocktail sauce was perfect. I ordered a glass of white wine that was recommended and the garbage salad served with fresh warm baguette. Don't let the name fool you-it has fresh shrimp and is their most popular salad. I really enjoyed the ambience, the friendly and accommodating service. It is definitely not to be missed!

Simply fabulous! Go!

By Steve M |

Veal chop parmigiana OMG! The creamed spinach was also the best I have ever had. Everything we had was beyond delicious. Garbage Caesar, mashed potatoes and bread were strong costars!

Great team dinner!! 36 ppl

By paul l |

Angela was awesome!. We had a fantastic price fix menu with enough options for everybody including the kitchen being flexible to take care of my vegetarian friends. Great wine great service strongly encourage anybody that wants a nice Italian meal at at Off the Strip to go to this place.

Love the old world atmosphere and cuisine!

By n2r49rs |

Authentic old Italian a couple of blocks off the strip. Place was super busy for a Wednesday night! It was bustling. Service was really good and friendly. Portions are very large. My wife and I both had the veal parmigiana which was awesome! Huge too! Very flavorful! For starters we had a caesar salad and the artichoke appetizer. Both were very good. It’s a nice change from many of the places on the strip. I definitely recommend!

Old School Italian!

By Woody T |

We loved this restaurant. The “garbage” Caesar salad was super; wife and I split it. We both had eggplant parmigiana. Very good. Large portion. Service by Drake, Andre, and Tim was excellent. Classic Italian. We will be back! Fun that a scene from the movie “Casino” was filmed there.

We never miss going to Piero's when in Las Vegas

By Jack R |

Old haunt, our favorite Italian food in Las Vegas. Staff is always amazing and bar is great. You fell like you are in the good old days of Las Vegas when you visit Piero's. Don't miss it...

Lovely dining experience

By dixiepeach |

We had a very enjoyable dining experience at Piero’s. The veal saltimbocca alla romana was wonderful. My vegetables were not warm enough but when I mentioned it to our server he had a new plate of broccoli in front of me with minutes. The salads were good as was the bread. Joe, our waiter , provided fantastic service without being intrusive. The wine list was extensive. We shared a Sicilian limoncello to finish the evening.

Hidden gem in Vegas.

By Lucinda |

Happy we booked at Piero's Italian Cuisine. We had a fantastic time. Our waiter John, was knowledgeable and humorous. We ordered the meatballs followed by eggplant parmesan and scaloppine marsala. They were all perfect and delicious. There’s also plenty of menu options if you’re vegetarian. I recommend this restaurant if you like old Italian style cooking. The ambience is very relaxing and the cocktails are excellent too – looking forward to visiting again.

Ghosts of the Rat Pack

By MDFreqTvlr |

If you love restaurants with a history and ambiance to match then Piero's is your place. it has so much history dating way back before all the hip, modern hotels and restaurants. That being said, it has done a great job of keeping up with modern tastes. Piero's has all the classic Italian dishes, pasta, Veal Milanese, grilled fish. It also has some modern takes on the classics that are worth exploring. The staff is incredibly welcoming and fun. There is an extensive wine list, but choose carefully as some of the options are very pricey.

Bleah

By itravelerChicago |

We went there as a high recommendation. The parking lot was empty and we were forced to valet park the car which was driven 20 feet from the front door. The restaurant is old and musty. The menu is extensive but the food was horrible. We saw our waiter once at the beginning and never again. Very disappointing experience over all.

Old school and delicious

By Kelly B |

If you are looking for a Las Vegas "Rat Pack" experience, Piero's is the spot. The food is delicious and the portions are generous. I would say the food is authentic, made from scratch, and, priced accordingly. Looking around the room, you will find business folks dining on expense accounts and couple's celebrating. It's dark and romantic with thoughtfully procured artwork and décor. The staff is attentive and experienced in catering to the "Piero Guest". Make a reservation, it can be difficult to get a table.

What a surprise

By Donna G |

Returned from a busy day to find the bar in the LV Marriott closed already. Wandered next door and found the bar open but the restaurant loses . My friend had eaten there the night before with a group and everyone enjoyed their meal. Beautifully decorated. The bar is small, intimate, and has artwork with monkeys on the walls . Bartender was pleasant and attentive . PIA ZADORA sings there, along with Sonny James from The Checkmates and a Liza Minnelli look alike . Fabulous time ! Old time piano bar with a trio and great singing ! We even danced !

Perfwction

By Jerry Mansfield |

A dear friend said, in Vegas...Piero’s. He’s brilliant! Service was remarkable, exquisite timing, at my request. Ian, was outstanding. Ok, I had the “garbage Caesar salad”, ohmigosh! Shrimp, avocado, hearts of palm and tomato...delicious! Osso Bucco...melt in your mouth. Can I add, the pasta side...no words. Yum! They asked if I had room for dessert, thought it had been served...creamed corn side. WOW! Special evening...missing my wife Jane, back home tomorrow baby! When I’m back, we’ll dine here.

Feels like old Vegas

By wander1 |

Off the strip but an easy Uber ride, this feels like an old style Italian restaurant in New York or Chicago. Our servers were friendly and knowledgeable, food was excellent and prices, especially for Vegas, aren't bad. Our Uber driver got hung up so we were late but they fit us in very accommodatingly.

Good service, good food

By TravelGeek26 |

This was highly recommended to us. It was good food, but it was not overwhelmingly good. Prices are high but the portions are good. Service was very good.

Very Over rated

By Stanley |

Much hype about this place. It fell flat on its face . The service was terrible. Food was average at best. And expensive. So many better Resturants in Las Vegas.

great

By Leona Helmsley |

its still the king of vegas the leaning tower spot from Casino movie - sit in bar - order a few things - its really good - one of the family owned spots left in vegas - run exceptionally - just outstanding - had a few caesar salads, they were that good - some dover sole -

Loved this place!

By mmiddltn |

This restaurant was recommended by a friend. It was dimly lit staff was super attentive. We made reservations prior to dinner and arrived a little early and was seated promptly. The staff was super friendly and helpful! The food was amazing and so were the drinks! Highly recommend for a high end dining experience.

Expected a lot better from this classic Las Vegas restaurant

By TSA |

We went to Piero's for a birthday dinner; 5 couples, celebrating the 60th birthday for most of the people in the group. The "good" - Piero's is a classic Italian restaurant; it opened in the early 80's and has that 80's "vibe". We were able to secure a round table for the 10 people which made the experience more enjoyable then sitting a rectangular tables. There is something for everyone on the menu. The servers were for the most part attentive. They have a very extensive wine list. Be mindful of the pricing as some bottles cost more than $2,000! The "bad" - after bringing out the appetizers in a timely fashion, we waited over an hour for the entrees. During this time, our server had "disappeared" when we finally had someone stop we asked where our entrees were only to find out the server had forgotten to put in the order. Mistakes happen, we are all human and we have all made mistakes, so that was bad but what followed was worse. The "ugly" - upon realizing he had forgotten to put in our order, the server tried to "placate" us by saying he'd bring us dessert for free. What we really wanted was our entrees. We voiced our displeasure to the server who sent over a "manager"; that person really had no idea the severity of the situation. By that point, the entrees started to arrive, unfortunately, at least half of the entrees, although cooked, were not hot. The plates were lukewarm and the food mildly hot. The server offered to recook the entrees which would have added even more time to the wait so we ate the food "as is". Finally, the general manager came over. It turned out we had waited 1 hour and 10 minutes for the entrees. We requested all the entrees be "comped" which the restaurant did not agree to do. However, the GM did agree to take 50% off the entire bill which was a step in the right direction. They also brought out a tray of desserts complimentary. In conclusion, we understand mistakes are made and happen. When they do, it's important to take ownership and make it "right". Our server and the 1st manager did not do that; we felt they "talked down to us" and were trying to brush off the mistake and "buy" us off with a tray of desserts. Only when the GM got involved did someone from Piero's try and make it right. We were disappointed in Piero's as we expected much more and much better from a restaurant with their reputation.

Top Not h Old School Italian

By TheMacallan1 |

This place was the place to eat Italian in Vegas and still is, Try the veal, it’s the best in the city. their Veal Parm Chop and Osso Bucco are special. Don’t forget the shrimp cocktail. It’s stellar too. It’s just off the strip and worth the ride. Wow.

Good food, poor atmosphere

By Matt |

Food was good but disappointed overall. It was not fine dining. They do not strictly enforce a dress code contrary to what is stated on their website. A group of 20 was seated in our area. They were extremely loud and obnoxious and ruined the evening for everyone else.

Not Impressed

By Dan N |

It seems rather rude to forced to wait for a table for 30 minutes on a Tuesday night especially after having made reservations. We watched several other parties walk-in some with, some without reservations and get seated before our small party. It appeared to me that they all had some sort of preferred status. Given the quality of restaurants available in Las Vegas, we had many choices where to dine tonight. The food was Medium to medium good. Pretty middle of the road Italian cuisine. The wine list on their website probably has not been updated in years. We choose this restaurant specifically because of their wine list so we were sorely disappointed when the wines we had discussed and researched, weren’t even available for sale. All in all a pretty mediocre experience for a high price.

Delicious pasta!

By Stephanie P |

We have been here several times before for dinner and had a great meal again! We had the crab cake, which was outstanding. I’d pass on the garbage Caesar salad, which in our opinion lacked the flavor of a traditional Caesar. My vodka penne pasta was excellent, and my husband’s rigatoni with meat sauce (not on the menu) was delicious as well. We had the chocolate cake and profiteroles for dessert; I’d probably not do the desserts again, but overall the whole meal was wonderful. Good service and old Vegas atmosphere.

Piero's Food & Service

By michaelbY1751TV |

The food and service at Piero's are excellent, everything on the menu looks good but remember the portions are above normal, ask the waiter for help with your wine selection, you can get a good reasonably priced bottle, just swallow your wine Expert pride and ask your server.A very good dining experience.

Slow and Average

By DaveC95818 |

We arrived a bit early for our 730 reservation. I had heard great things about Piero's, and decided to come here for our anniversary dinner, since we were staying at the Wynn around the corner. We were told there would be a short wait- so , OK, we'll be in the bar. Nice bar service, quite well stocked. And we waited, and waited...... Our hostesses were a bit pretentious and snippy, and didn't seat us for about 35 minutes. The restaurant appeared to be just half full, so most likely very short staffed. And we waited, and waited..... We waited for everything, the menus, the bread, the specials. The service here is....slow. The menu was uninspired, nothing notable was on special. And the dress code is unenforced. I felt a bit out of place in a jacket. I had better food at The Bootlegger last week. Piero's really missed a few marks, and I don't need to go back. Salmon, Chicken Parm, Caesar Salad- sure, all were adequate, but nothinig I can't make at home. Avergae, especially for Las vegas.

OLD SCHOOL VEGAS

By Gary H |

We never miss a chance to go to Piero’s in Vegas. Food and cocktails are excellent, but it’s like stepping back in time to the late 60’s. While sitting in one of the “roll ‘n pleated” booths, look around, close your eyes, sip that ice cold martini and you can almost feel the likes of Sammy Davis, Jr., Dean Martin and maybe even the Chairman of the Board—Sinatra himself, smoking, drinking and laughing.

Highly Recommend !

By Daniel R |

Great food, great service (from Daniel) and great atmosphere…what more can you ask? I come here every time I visit LV (twice a year) and it’s always a winner.

Awesome experience, Great Food,

By Bobby C |

My wife and I had a great dinner at Piero’s. It was just an awesome experience and we can’t wait to return. My wife is full-blooded Italian. Her Mother is from Italy, so we know good Italian food. Piero’s does a great job, and we highly recommend them. Our serving staff, ( Joe, Ricky and Jon) we very professional and friendly. Since it was our first visit, they were very helpful with suggestions and made us feel as though we were longtime regulars. For a special occasion, or just a special night out, we highly recommend Piero’s. It is our new favorite Italian high-end restaurant in Las Vegas.

This place is One of a Kind.

By kevinkaz2015 |

Wonderful food. Great focused wait staff. Topped off with great cocktails in the Monkey Business Bar. I was there for business. I will return next trip. I recommend making a reservation.

Special Night Out-Well served

By AnnandWinnie |

Good food selection. Attentive staff. One great meal, one average, but the staff were great. A good place for a special night out. Good wine list.

Worth a visit - great fun

By Weary Traveller |

Excellent service, beautiful food and busy!! It was noisy but that added to the ambience. Staff were terrific and very helpful with menu suggestions.

Amazing restaurant!

By Tara M |

We actually stumbled on this restaurant because our cab driver recommended it on our way to another Italian restaurant. He raved about it and we asked him to drop us off there instead! Wow! It’s a traditional old school looking Italian restaurant. We’ve been going to Vegas every year and can’t believe we never heard of it. Our waiter was outstanding and the love singer blew us away. The food was 10/10, we had the veal parmigiana and the waiter split it on two plates it was huge. And we were going to order a pasta dish but he insisted we do a half order boy was he right! We can’t wait to go back.

Authentic Italian cuisine

By Alejandra V |

Delicious and authentic Italian food. The service was excellent!! It met our expectations and we would definitely visit again.

Consistently great

By a-travelin-foodie |

We have been coming here for MANY years and it's always consistently great - usually excellent, sometimes very good. Service is always excellent. Love the old Vegas vibe that's also been updated over time. Super accommodating to make sure vegetarians are taken care of (i.e. shrimp and anchovy dressing on the side for garbage salad, which was plenty to share as a starter for 4). Eggplant parm really yummy - our first time trying. Linguini and clams always a favorite, as is the osso bucco. Love the flavoring of the pasta with the osso bucco sauce/broth and the marrow (bone comes with the marrow fork!) with the pasta - wowza! Carrot cake is always fantastic, too -- lots of coconut flakes in there. Decent wines on the wine list. Really....get off the strip and enjoy a place that's been around a long time for a reason!

Crap

By simondroads1 |

Worst experience. Bartender charges whatever he likes so order the same drinks and get charged differently and way over priced. Been there 10 times, never had this experience, bar tender or glass washer is arrogant moron and some guy at the bar who got in the middle was just in the middle so come Completely useless. Will never go back and oso buco tasted by me and the Australian couple next to me was average and tasteless. Hanging on to the traditions your staff don’t sustain, bartender was rude and ignorant idiot, manager if that’s what he was was useless and food was average. This coming form someone been there 10 times so know the different. If you go, don’t get screwed over in the bar by the complete idiot and don’t buy into the “traditional Italian cuisine” it’s a scam and the service and food are not top class. Never ever in my life complained on Trip Advisor but the idiot And I can’t use profanity useless bartender deserves it and I hope it costs the restaurant money so he loses his job, he’s a thief

Horrible experience

By Sally B |

Unfortunately my husband and I had a horrible experience. We were really looking forward to trying a new place in Vegas that was a little off the beaten path. We booked a reservation for 8:15 (arrived on time) and were told that our table would be available in a few minutes. We went to the bar and had a cocktail. Finally by 9:15 (an hour after our scheduled reservation) our table was available. We walked to the table with the staff and upon arrival the table was still dirty. They apologized and said wait here while I find someone to clean your table. 5 minutes later (as we stood in front of the table waiting for it to be cleaned) we finally sat down. The waiter came and apologized and handed us our menus. We waited another 25 minutes before our waiter came and took our order. Finally we ordered and waited another 25 minutes (with no service) so we left. I couldn't tell you if the food is good or bad but I can tell you that the service was horrible.

4th of July Trip to Vegas

By bill c |

Great Italian food and ambiance. Old school and terrific service. This is more of a local hangout which gives a much better pricing on the dishes, wine and alcohol. Only 15 minutes from the strip and we highly recommend it.

Amazing every time

By Danni G |

We eat here every time we visit Vegas, sometimes more than once per visit! The food is some of the best Italian we have ever eaten. The service is excellent. The vibe is old Vegas and we love it.

Piero's Las Vegas Top Drawer Italian

By baird t |

The doorman at the Bellagio told me to be sure and get his all time favorite: the Osso Buco. I had not been to Piero's for quite some time, however dating back 30+ years it was/is always a must do whenever in LV. Piero's still has its fastball. In the shadow of the enormous convention center, this is old Las Vegas at its finest. Great atmosphere, great service, outstanding food. Knowledgeable waiters with a great sense of humor. The menu covers the waterfront of Italian cuisine from the antipasti and salads and soups (pasta fagioli tops) to pasta dishes (linguini with clam sauce perfectly delightful) to the myriad of entrees: swordfish to scaloppini marsala to grilled veal chop to the 16 oz new york steak: it's all good. However, the Osso Buco wins the race. Flavors of the old country meld into a monstrous piece of beef shank so tender it literally jumps off the bone...and then there's the marrow and the fluffy noodles exploding in the juices. An outstanding dining experience. . Well worth a visit. Price: A fine dining experience. Parking: on site and valet

3 Hour Dinner

By exacta123 |

This is neat spot, lots of history, been in several movies, etc. We went for a business meal and it took three hours. The food was good, but very expensive for the serving sizes. The staff was very friendly. There is so much to do in Vegas, having a three hour dinner is not ideal.

Business Dinner --off Strip

By Bob S |

Pierro's is one of my favorite off-strip restaurants. Large portions, Old Vegas atmosphere, and impeccable service. For a business dinner, it is one of my go-tos. Convenience: It is near the convention center (walkable), and has valet parking, and easy for Uber pick-ups. Bar: Great place to hang out, have appetizers, and look around for Sammy, Dean or Frank.

So good!

By Quest828395 |

The food was spectacular. Every detail was perfect from warm bread, to a perfect Osso Buco. Best I’ve ever had. Excellent service with a genuine ‘Vegas’ twist, not pretentious, friendly and funny staff made me feel at home. A+ experience and I sat at the bar by myself.

Wonderful food, service, and atmosphere

By ShortDrive |

This is not new and trendy. Piero's has a warm, comfortable dining room with a wonderful staff that really know what they are doing. We had a party of six and were seated promptly and well-cared-for throughout the evening. They are known for their osso bucco and it was tender and delicious. Steaks were cooked perfectly, and pasta was perfect. Rumored to be one of Frank Sinatra's favorite spots, Piero's has managed to survive as the neighborhood has changed and grown up around it. I hope it continues for another 50 years.

My favorite Italian restaurant

By mo g |

The food is off the charts good! The service is first class. The wine list has so much to choose from and I haven’t had a glass or bottle I didn’t enjoy. The owner is a hoot and really cares that his customers are taken care of.

Authentic and good. Love it.

By Allan S |

I have been at Piero's several times. Excellent food. Even at the big conventions they still have time to give an excellent service. Love that place.

As good as ever!

By cmlellmom |

We had dinner at Piero's on a Thursday in early October. The vibe and service was as good as ever! My martini was very strong (one is not enough and three is too many!). We had a wonderful wait person and the specials list was good and hard to choose. The pork chop parmesan was out of this world! My only complaint is that we booked well in advance and asked for a specific room, and they did not accommodate. This is the second time this has happened. Granted, we only go once a year since we come from afar, but we are loyal and would have liked the request to have been honored.

Wonderful "Last Supper" before the world ended.........

By MidtownerMemphis |

I was in town for the Conexpo and had heard about how good Piero's was from several co-workers. I made a reservation for Friday night and was very pleased. I was dining alone and seated a very nice table with a great view of the restaurant. I had the Spaghetti Portofino, which was terrific. They had a nice selection of wines by the glass, I paired several between the house salad and the pasta. Service was excellent, attentive but not overbearing, and I was definitely not rushed on this Friday night. Overall a delicious meal in a great setting.

Great Italian food

By dontcare1973 |

They accommodated a large group for us and treated us like gold. Service out of this world. The food was absolutely on point. The atmosphere was so cool. Will definitely return. Quite affordable as well.

My Favourite Italian Restaurant in Las Vegas

By J Steiner |

You need a taxi to get here from the Strip. The decor is classic Italian meets old Las Vegas. The service is fun and friendly which adds to the overall experience. My first course was the burrata. The texture and flavours were very good. My main was the Steak with potatoes and artichoke hears. All cooked perfectly. Finished the meal with a few single malts and I was ready for bed. This is must try if you are in Las Vegas.

Popular, but a Mediocre Experience

By Ted-620 |

This restaurant seems very popular. When I went it was packed and lively. I was by myself and sat at the bar. The staff seemed generally competent and friendly and there are plenty of them. My experience was not great because I ordered the charcuterie, which was mediocre (being kind) and far too much for one person. I expect better guidance from a bartender. I would give them another try, but I am rating this trip as I lived it.

If only we were important

By AshburnTravelers |

Based on prior reviews and the number of celebrities that have eaten at Piero's, my wife and I decided to eat off the strip and give this establishment a shot. Not sure why you have to valet park your car when it's step away from the entrance but so be it, maybe something from the past. Our reservation was for 7pm and the restaurant was just starting to get busy. The food was terrific and the service good at the start. Meal selection was great. At 8:00pm the tables were full and there were several large tables with one table of 8 attracting the attention of several waiters and management. They received a lot of attention which took attention away from us and other diners. It took 40 minutes to get dessert and then another 25 minutes to get the check. The table of 8 received fantastic attention. So I guess if you are famous or know management, this place rocks. For the rest of us, not so much. I'll move on to the other Italian restaurants in Las Vegas with much better customer service ratings and where every customer is important.

Old Las Vegas

By Katie |

After living in Las Vegas for a bit, I finally made it to Piero’s! Wooo! I loved the old Italian restaurant feel as soon as I arrived. Valet is the only way to park. My two friends and I sat in one of the dining rooms, and we were attended to the entire night. We dined on the oysters for an appetizer, and I could’ve eaten the bread all night long. I had the chicken Parmesan for my main along with some spaghetti. I was trying to go true Italian! For dessert, we split a couple of different cake slices. My favorite was the carrot cake. All in all, it was a great experience!

I’d really rate it 4.25. First trip to Vegas, so maybe this is standard, but family of 5 with 2 apps, 2 glasses of wine, 5 dinners and 4 desserts was over $500. Meatball app was awesome. Obviously a favorite with the stars and has some solid family roots. Fun experience.

One of the best restaurants in Las Vegas

By jmLondon845 |

We had a booth as usual, the service is always friendly and efficient, the food is superbly prepared and tasty. We had the red roasted pepper salad, the prawn cocktail, the unbelievable Osso buco and the stone crab claws. Big piece of cake for the dessert and a fantastic Red Cabernet Sauvignon to drink. Fantastic evening

A classic!

By TheMacallan1 |

This place is everything you heard about it and more. Been there several times and it never ceases to amaze me. Shrimp cocktail, the meatballs, Osso Bucco, rigatoni bolognese are all a must. But you really can’t go wrong with anything here. Nothing short of a Vegas classic.

Very enjoyable

This place was great! Food was very good service was exceptional and the atmosphere was refreshing. I would defiantly recommend and I don’t typically like Italian food. 5 Star……

Not as expected. Unimpressed and disappointed.

Ordered the Chesapeake Bay oysters, 6 for $23. They were the smallest oysters I had ever seen! About the size of my thumbnail and as thin as a dime. I'm a former native of Florida for 60 years and use to big and plump Apalachicola oysters. The Garbage salad was nothing special. It had bits of shrimp in it which the waiter failed to tell us. My wife does not like any type of seafood. I tried the Truffle Cream Orecchiette and it was dry and tasteless with only traces of truffles and peas. The Broccolini had too much garlic and was undercooked. For a restaurant where one will spend no less than $200 per couple, they should provide Perrier water instead of tap water. They offer no other drink, basically forcing people to have either cocktails or wine. No ice tea, etc. for non-alcohol drinkers. My wife had a Golden Cadillac and got perhaps a 2 oz. drink for $24. We were part of three couples and the bill was all delivered on one check. How ridiculous was that? The waiter did not even ask if we wanted separate checks, we therefore had to ask him to split it out. I also take offense of any restaurant that automatically adds a tip to the bill. (Automatic 20% and then there is a line for additional tip). A tip is NO LONGER a tip if it is required. Total bill for six people, $805. The waiters were attentive, yet were lacking in the etiquette expected at a fine restaurant. A waiter should NEVER reach across you to serve a plate to the patron next to you. The atmosphere at the restaurant was also not to my liking. The lighting was too low and the place was very noisy. It was difficult to have a conversation at our table. Food at Margianno's Little Italy, a chain restaurant, is much better in my opinion. I also did not like the idea of no self parking. Required valet. I do not want anyone else driving MY car. Overall, we were not impressed and will not return to this restaurant. Such a shame based upon their history. Some may say it was just a bad night. Perhaps, but that is no excuse.

Stunningly good food

By travelprincess2 |

Right around the corner from the Marriott’s Residence Inn and Courtyard, rec by our cabdriver! It’s a great throwback, retro restaurant and bar with fabulous food, huge portions. Pasta is wonderful as is the veal. Took enough home for another meal. Definitely get the tiramisu which is enough for 3 and the absolute best I’ve ever hadYou won’t be disappointed. The bar is also wonderful with a very, very hard working bartender. Junior was our waitstaff and great!

Retro Elegance

By HappyCamper48 |

We dined at Piero’s based on a family member’s recommendation. It was spot on. When you step inside, it is like traveling back in time. Staff clad in tuxedo shirts greet you and usher you to a table. You pass by the lounge featuring live entertainment, amplified a bit too loud for the space. The lobby area is a bit cramped, and it is a challenge to stay out of the way while you wait to be seated. Our table was deep in the dining room. A team approach is used by the wait staff, and it works well. Bread service and water arrived promptly while I studied the wine book. We enjoyed an excellent bottle of small production wine for a reasonable price. Our main dishes were Penne Vodka ($36) and Eggplant Parm ($37). Both were excellent. The portions were generous. We had a well-paced elegant meal in comfortable surroundings. We would definitely go back. I was sorry I didn't have room for dessert.

Still Worthy, but No Longer Great

By GJW184 |

Still good, but perhaps, no longer great. The ambiance and waiters are still top notch; but the Caesars salad is barely decent and my Marsala sauce, frankly is way better...; I thought the cocktails were old school and outstanding and my wife had 2 glasses of a pinot grigio that frankly were truly outstanding. No doubt in Vegas you could a whole lot worse, but I also know you could do better. That said, this is still a unique overall experience and worthy of a visit.

Great location and amazing food!

By sicomorotree |

We had a Business dinner here. A table of 8 people from different nationalities (most Americans but a few european). Their location couldn’t be better for us because we were attending a convention in the Convention center. We walked to here after we were done. Their cocktails were very good. We had stone crabs, fried calamari, shrimp cocktails for the table and everything was delicious. The pasta was very very good. We also ordered desserts and there were all excellent! Our waitress was attentive and took care of us beautifully. I will definitely come back next year during the convention.

Exceptional

Can't beat the food and five-star service. This restaurant is always on our list when visiting Las Vegas. Treat yourself.

Old School Awesome

By Megan E |

We ate at Piero's on our last night in Vegas with some friends who are local. It was such a great experience. We loved the old-school booths, lighting, etc. The service was excellent. The food was wonderful - the short rib rigatoni was to die for! Being there with someone who knows the owners made it even more special but I'm sure they make everyone feel special at Piero's. Do yourself a favor and get off the strip for a great meal.

Real Deal Italian

By Chris K |

real deal Italian - Service was excellent- food was incredible - had a steamed clam in broth that might have been the best I’ve ever had - veal Chop Parm was excellent - my friend told me they filmed Casino there - LOL - it sure looks like it - across from convention center - it’s a must go

EXCELLENT!!!

By mrsjreinhold |

If I could give this restaurant 10 stars, I would!!! It was absolutely amazing melt in your mouth Italian food!! The ambiance and the history that you get to experience while dining here is just incredible. It’s also lovely getting away from the casino restaurants and just enjoying an excellent Italian meal. This is an absolute must in Vegas!!

Always faithful

My usual stop first night in Vegas stay at Marriott convention ctr and this is 100 yards our front door. Old school vegas vibe knowing staff great grinds and food is amazing. Wine list extensive and not bad price wise for Vegas. Suggest reservations but I got seat at the bar and always meet someone interesting. A must in Vegas off strip but walkable or short uber.

Must have just missed the Rat Pack!

By Tom Anderson |

If you are from New York or New Jersey, you'll feel like your home when you go to Piero's, although the food at Piero's is probably better! Old school 60's traditional Italian atmosphere and menu and giant cocktails executed to perfection don't hurt either! You keep looking around expecting to see a celebrity sitting next to you! So, if you like a comfortable, high-class, high quality traditional Italian menu and atmosphere, I can't think of a better place. Clearly, a fave of well-heeled local Italians, judging by that night's patrons, Piero's served me the best and biggest bone-in veal chop parmesan I have ever eaten. If you have three or more, ask for a booth. Mangia! You won't go away hungry!

Twice Visited, two times Excellent

By Tim W |

Once by myself and once in a group, both times the service has been excellent and the food very good to excellent. The feel is very Italian and the menu expansive. It is very close to the convention center and off LV Boulevard but still requires a reservation. We were able to get one same day and when I walked in alone I waited for about 30 minutes. The prices are commensurate with fine dining, not cheap but not exorbitant. Is a great place to eat if you want to enjoy excellent food and service.

Amazing food, great staff, great drinks and a scene from Casino was filmed here, what more do you need.

By Michael H |

I went with my Wife on the 25th March, at around 8:30pm, for her birthday. The staff were great and we loved the food. I freaked out a little bit when I was told about the booth that De Niro and Pesci had both been filmed at, for the Casino film. The restaurant takes you back and makes you feel as if you are in a film This is a must visit if you are going to Vegas, and I can't wait to come back. See you soon, Michael.

Terrible

By fastidiuc85 |

We had a very bad night. We booked a table. After 30 minutes sitting, he appeared in the owner of the restaurant to tell us that we were taking a long time to order the food. We were just starting to drink our bottle of wine. He asked us to change tables because we were taking a long time. It was a very unpleasant situation. We changed our table and when we were in the dessert he again pressed us to finish eating. Something like this had never happened to us in the United States. Of course, we will not eat again in that place and I do not recommend it. The owner is a very strange person.

Always enjoy the clubby atmosphere

By Moto311 |

Always enjoy the clubby atmosphere coupled with fabulous service and food! Much nicer than the 'name' steakhouses on the strip.

Old school Italian ambiance

By spike415 |

Classic old school Italian! Generous portions served with attention. Beautiful room and tasty food. I had the classic Osso Buco, which came with fettuccine, very filling. Profiteroles for dessert!

Good old school Italian

By Christine H |

Definitely old school Italian food and plenty of it. The servings are generous, and the place has so much history. The server shared many of the stories. The lamb chops were fabulous, and the bolognese so yummy. For dessert, we shared the crème brûlée which was excellent. The service was very good. It was a Saturday night, and the place was extremely busy and loud.

Underwhelming

By Dawn O |

Was disappointed. The menu is weird. Thought this was an Italian restaurant. While the menu does have Italian dishes the soup was French onion. The meatball appetizer lacked flavor, the vodka penne lacked flavor, the cream puff dessert was lacking in flavor. Would not return.

A classic restaurant experience!

By Rijamon |

Piero’s provides the classic Italian restaurant experience and one I enjoyed so often growing up in New Jersey. The service is impeccable and the food is delectable. The ambience, however, is the real clincher. The different rooms were opulent. We sat in a back room which filled up while we were there. Regular customers came in - greeted by their first names - calls were made for permission to release special tables - and the chatter among the patrons and staff felt like a large Italian family in New Year’s Eve. Located in a stand alone building near the Convention Center - Piero’s is an absolute must. Centi Anni to Piero’s!

Worst dining experience in Las Vegas

By Sergio F |

I think I've been to the worst Italian restaurant in Las Vegas in 15 years. Unwatchable menu, precooked food and hyper loaded with onion and spicy. Bad service to say the least, absolutely unnecessary glacial temperature, bottles of wine sold with a different product from the one indicated on the card, really incapable staff. Absolutely not worthy of being called Italian. Please don't go there. Thank you.

Amazing food

By JJMOregon |

We went to Piero's because of all the hype about the filming of the movie Casino that was done there. Atmosphere is very authentic, and I recognized some of the rooms from the movie. The food is AMAZING!!! The Osso Buco is to die for! The downside is the prices. The bill for me and my husband was $280.00, and that's with no dessert. I am glad we went, but we won't be able to spend that kind of money again.

Old reliable was reliable

By Connector38238669737 |

Heard about it and finally got around to it. This is an old-school, reliable authentic Italian restaurant off strip. Dark with classic booths and a wait staff dressed for the occasion. Osso Buco is highly recommended and which I turned to with no regret. Started with the Garbage Caesar salad. It is a really big salad, but they offered me a half portion which I did. Excellent and came with tasty shrimp. Osso Buco fell off the bone and was a delight. Nice old-fashioned desserts they bring out on a tray. They had one with three cannoli, but I only wanted one. They gave me one on the house and I welcomed a cappuccino with it. They have a solid wine list and well-made cocktails. Service was a little spotty because there were big parties, but other than that, the atmosphere is quaint and the service spot on. A nice throwback to another era with good to match I’m glad I experienced it.

Best Produce I’ve Tasted In 35 Years

By BMA |

Service, atmosphere, cocktails, seafood...all the créme de la créme without the snobby vibe. My husband and I were invited to dinner here with our business associates, Belmont Builders (wonderful, long-standing family business in SoCal construction if you are looking for quality, licensed, professional work done) and we enjoyed every moment of it from start to finish. Even the simple garden salad that came with my seafood was exquisite tasting; the produce was crisp, ripe and perfect! It was such quality that for the first time in my life I actually asked where the veggies came from. Their original chef retired last year after 38 years but his predecessor does maintain the legacy well. His creamy polenta was an unexpected treat paired with the sole. You also won’t find a better grey goose/cranberry anywhere else in the US. Yes, Piero’s is pricey but for a special occasion, high-roller or tax-write off... I highly recommend Piero’s.

What happened?

By Nancy S |

We frequent Piero’s and it has been a favorite for years, but the last 2 times we were there the service was not as we were accustomed. We were there with a party of 4 for one visit and a party of 12 for the other visit. It took much too long and things have changed. Clams are a disappointment. My Veal Melanese was served without the arugula. (Taste was good but the presentation lacked appeal. Where is the creamed corn? ( always a special “on the house” treat!) One diner had a steak that was way overdone, but we waited so long for our food he just kept it and shared other people’s entrees. We were told there is a new chef and that they were very busy. Not something we want to hear. Internal issues are not what we are paying to hear! We hope things get back to what we expect when dining at Piero’s or we will need to find a new favorite. I guess old Las Vegas is really getting old. 😞

Sure thing in Vegas

I’ve been dining at Pieros in Vegas since the 80’s. Like a fine wine.. only gets better. Traditional Italian. Great service & of course, great food.
