Long wait for seat and so so good make this a spot that can be missed. There are many other choices at this location. Take the opportunity to go somewhere else.

Stopped here for lunch and we loved it. Overlooked the market - totally enjoyed watching all the goings on!. Our server was great and she was knowledgeable and very friendly! The food was great - fish and chips outstanding!!

Somewhat overwhelmed by the Pike's Place Market summer Saturday crowd, our family set out to find a place where we could sit down to eat lunch. Chairs and my desire to have seafood were really our only criteria. We were pleased with our choice. This is a pretty large establishment and we only waited a few minutes to be seated. We were pleased with our choice as we got to sit down and relax, while observing the market crowd through the window. The menu offered a variety of sandwiches, salads and entrees. I had a crab cake sandwich. The food and serve were OK and we enjoyed the atmosphere.

Very nice, clean restaurant. I had the crab cake sandwich. Very tasty. Good service. Could watch the activity across the street from the market. Would go there again and recommend it when visiting the market.

Found this place by chance, we had a great meal, lovely pasta with fresh fish. The staff were very friendly. We had a bottle of wine, big mistake as this cost about the same as our food!

There is a nice view of the Public Market from the tables by the windows, either in the bar or the restaurant. The fish and chips were very good, but the pieces are small so you might want to order the three piece plate. BTW, excellent tarter sauce. The BLTA was also very good. Lots of bacon, yes!! Good selection of beer but a limited wine selection. Service was excellent - thanks Brent.

We came here while dodging the heat in Seattle. I know I said that in one sentence. We stopped here for lunch. The food was fabulous. We had the clam chowder and it was very delicious. All of the food and appetizers that we tried was very delicious. The wait for a table was 10-15 minutes, and the service was good. Recommend going here.

Stopped in for lunch, not bad, food was pretty good. The bartender had to serve us because our server was MIA, so things moved pretty slow. If not for that grade would be higher.

I have never been so disappointed in a place, if I could give 0 stars, I would. I had made a reservation for a birthday party for 30+ people 3 weeks out. Was told the main manager would call to confirm, but that it should be fine and it was put in the books. No one called. A week later I called back, told the manager would call me in 45 minutes...no call. 3 days later I called AGAIN and was told by another manager who apologized for the poor communication, that it would be fine, they had space and would help us with anything needed. I sent out the information to my guests. The next day the main manager FINALLY CALLED ME BACK. Said his other manager made a mistake and I could only have my reservation for $500. A 30 plus party would have spent well over that amount. He was unwilling to stick with what I had been told, even after I informed him that this was set in stone and the info went out to over 30 individuals. He did not seem to care at all. Needless to say, I will never go back here....which is sad because I came here frequently.

Went mid morning for some good breakfast. We were told the kitchen wouldn’t be open for a few minutes. Craziness! But looking out on the market was cool and the waiter wasn’t stuffy... just entertaining. Food was great. Chicken fried steak, frittata, salmon brekfast dish, all of it - solid. I’d go back. Where else can you sit and watch the fish toss below?

The food here was ok but not spectacular. I had the chicken pot pie. Portions were not large but the pie was tasty. Service was fine.

Stopped for a light dinner, nothing fancy, but food was really good. What definitely made this place stand out was our server, Octavia. She could not have been friendlier or more attentive. Had we been staying in Seattle longer, would have gone back; host was also very personable. I love it when we find such a friendly staff and the food is also good. Kudos to Octavia and Pike Place Bar & Grill!

I came to Seattle on business and was looking for a nice place to eat near the Public Market Place downtown. It is in the heart of the action and you have to really look for it to find it. It has a nice bar with a tv on espn. I had the charbroiled salmon filet with herb butter that was terrific. The rice pilaf was amazingly just as good. It was $22.99 and well worth it. The staff was extremely efficient and on the ball. I was too full for desert. There are two entrances. One with stairs on side entrance and one off the front of the street where you don't have to climb stairs and you can walk right in. Definitely coming back.

I have never been here before it happened upon it. Breakfast was good. Staff was excellent Low key and worthy of future visits!

We were here twice during our visit a lunch and dinner. We made reservations for dinner and mentioned that we were meeting someone we had not seen in over 10 years. When we arrived for dinner we found out that they had very thoughtfully placed us away from the music so we could talk. The music was good and in the background. The special of the evening was halibut and it was superb. Very lightly breaded, cooked to perfection with a sauce that really accented the taste of the halibut. Vegetables were cooked just the way we like them, hot and slightly chewy. Desert was a blueberry cobbler that was really good and a wonderful end to the evening. Our server was attentive, polite and very helpful.

We were a large group (20), and they were so very accommodating for us! Daniel was our server, and he was amazing! Drinks were cold and plentiful and dinner was great. Most everyone had fish, and not a single person left hungry! Great place!!

While visiting Pike Market, the family dc used they would prefer a sit down meal for lunch. A suggestion from a local led us to Pike Place Bar and Grill. Sitting above the hustle-second floor restaurant - provides a much needed break fri the crowds of the street. After ordering and having a quite lunch, I actually felt like I missed something. Waking along the market we came along many other small quaint restaurants and food trucks with enticing aromas of what we could have had. The food at Pike Place was good - the steak sandwich ( minus the bell peppers and onions) was tender and juicy. The Parmesan mac and cheese - delicious. I actually had the clam chowder ;a disappointment. The consistency and taste was straight from a can. Naked boneless wings were actually just chicken fingers . And the tea was watered done. We did get that quite lunch spot , but if you are only in town for a day and really want to experience the Market- choose to eat lunch as you go. Visit the many speciality food locations, eat the samples.Delve into what the Market offers - not how to escape it.

We went here after a walk through the market and was surprised to find not only a homey atmosphere, staff, but amazing food as well! I really enjoyed the Fettuccine Alfredo and later the crème Brule--yum! which was delicious! Wonderful selection of local wines also. Really friendly staff who made us feel right at home and made our friend feel special who was celebrating her b-day.

We came here on a Monday (adult son & I) after visiting the Pikes Place Market. This 2nd floor pub is directly across the street and offers a great view of the market and people watching. We sat at a window table by the bar and the bartender was also our waiter. He was trying his best to serve everyone but it was clear there was not enough wait staff to accommodate everyone. I overheard a few people complaining and saw several more waiting to be seated as the host apologized for the wait (even though there were plenty of open tables). However, the (pub) food was good (I had the fish & chips) and the beer was cold and I got to charge my phone at the end of the bar. Maybe they were understaffed on just this particular day. I would recommend for pub food and location.

My service was average, my food was average, my seat was annoying because I asked to sit at the bar (since I was alone) but they insisted that I sit in a booth. It was like one of those embarrassing tiny booths that no one wants to sit in and for some reason the ones at this place are up on a step so you're like high up and on a pedestal while everyone else is lower. They just have a great location because of the market.

We went on 4/26/22. 1:05pm Our server was Heidi. She needs a new line of work. For starters, the 4 of us walked in, only a few tables taken. A male server, told us to sit anywhere. So we grabbed a booth. It turns out that Heidi, who was busy flirting with a lone old man in a booth finally turned around, came to our table and said in a snotty way, "so you just come here and think you can seat yourselves?". When we told her the male server told us to seat ourselves she said, "oh". She turned and walked away. She returned with our 4 menus. We ordered our food and we asked for some waters. We got those. She took our orders. All the while she kept returning to the booth where the lone old man was sitting and flirting, giggling, laughing. She started to finally bring some of our food. I was watching it sit on the counter in the kitchen (when you sit at the booth directly ahead of the door where you walk in, facing pike market you can see right into the kitchen). She brought the first few plates and spilled my water all over the table. Yes accidents like this happen. BUT she wiped up some then threw the towel on the table and said "my arms aren't long so you need to do the rest". What? So we clean it while she goes back to the old man's booth. I am all the while telling my friends I can see my burger on the kitchen counter. Ten minutes goes by, she brings it and it is cold. Surprise. I tell her I need a new one AND a water. That's correct, she spilled my water all over the table, never cleaned it up and then she never brought me another water. So back to the burger.... She left it on the kitchen counter for quite some time. At least 5 minutes after I saw it there. The only reason she thought to get it was because the chef came out and got her telling her that it is going to get cold again!! So she brought it. This doesn't even go into account of her forgetting part of one of my friend's orders then going to the chef and I can hear her say we wanted more when she ordered the wrong thing. We asked for a 3pc and she ordered a 2 pc. If you go here, do NOT let Heidi serve you! When the old man left he said something to Heidi to the effect of "see you tomorrow" so he was obviously a regular.

Yes, I'm a local. I love this place because its still the same as it was back in the 90s, this is what 'Seattle' is-we don't need to sterilize every single restaurant and make it cookie cutter. Grab a quick lunch and watch all the people mill about around the market. Summers can be hot, the building is old, and they didn't have A/C back then, deal with it-it's part of the charm. The service is quick and friendly (friendly for the most part-apparently if you are the designated driver for the night and don't order an alcoholic beverage, the blonde female server will give you the stink eye and make comments). Food is the usual cafe/diner style. Drinks are good, if you go for breakfast and order the waffles, they are UNLIMITED.

I was there for a quick lunch, while visiting this part of downtown Seattle. It's a traditional bar & grill, where you can have a good beer and eat good fish. The menu is good, though not super vast. Good choice of sandwiches and burgers, nicely prepared. The french fires are delicious. The staff is nice, though they could be a bit more attentive and quick. In conclusion, the food was good and not too expensive.

A small group of us decided to give this bar /grill a look as we walked around the market area . Once we entered we were greeted and given the choice of a table away from the band / singer who were tuning up. Once seated we were offered water and our drinks orders were taken , I had some carona beers , to eat I had the popcorn shrimp and a slice of carrot cake for dessert, as it was fleet week there were a lot of uniformed naval personnel in town and in the bar The band were very good performing an eclectic mix of songs The service was good our waitress had a good sense of humor and the food was good nice friendly bar / restaurant Not expensive

We had to wait 40 minutes for our table for 8 but it was well worth it. The food was amazing and the staff very helpful and friendly. It was very busy but the service was great. Definitely worth a visit

Good place to get away from the crush in the market, good view over the sound and the market, reasonable prices, food not the greatest really pretty bland.

We went in for an early lunch. Nice place with a menu that is not all seafood. My wife had chicken mushroom Alfredo which was delicious. I had a cup of clam chowder which was very good, along with a 2 piece fish and chips. May have been the best fish and chips I ever had. Service was great and a nice pub like setting but great food. Nice bar as as well and great for families as well.

My husband and I stopped in for lunch while we were at the Market. We enjoy their beer selection and this time was the same. I had the traditional flight, my husband had a pint. The atmosphere is lively and the food was good. We each had the crab chowder. Though the amount of crab was disappointing, the flavor was satisfying. Service was excellent.

With Pike Place Market being huge, it was easy finding this little quiet gem! Staff was friendly; food was good! Loved the view of the entrance to the market!

We stopped off for a late lunch when visiting Pike Place Market and enjoyed some soup and chowder on a cold and rainy day. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, the decor suited the Pike Place 'vibe', the service was good and the food was tasty. I will likely return the next time we are in Seattle. As a point of interest, the bathrooms are located outside the restaurant and are accessed using an electronic 'fob' obtained from the front desk.

Stopped in for lunch just by chance. Restaurant decor was dated, but the place was full of patrons, so we gave it a try. The food was plentiful and tasty. Nothing remarkable about the food we orders, but we enjoyed what we had. Service was quick and friendly. Prices were good considering we were in a tourist area.

This is a nice restaurant with a great location next to Pukes place market. The seafood dishes were good and the drinks were nice.

Long travel day up from Portland, picked up sister from Seattle airport and dropped in on the off chance. Great service, very good ale, the food tasty and well presented, fresh crisp salad and good banter. Would have stayed the whole night but would have been in danger of falling asleep .

Our group of eight people received really horribly slow and inattentive service here. In the vast links of time we were sitting around waiting to place our order, waiting for our food to arrive, and waiting for a server to come back so we could get our check and finally leave, we observed several other tables seemingly annoyed also waiting. If the food was really good it might have made up for some of it, but it was mediocre at best.

Went here for early dinner. Grilled salmon and the seafood grill platter. Horribly over cooked and dripping with fat. Everything covered with a squirt mayonnaise sauce. On top of all this the waiter was awkward in his behavior. Spilled the wine twice , never cleaned up and mumbled strange stuff any time he spoke.

We ate gumbo, fish and chips, and macaroni and cheese. All of these were quite tasty, though the fish was more greasy than it should have been. The fries were better than some places though not very crisp. We also partook of their taquila sunrise, strawberry margarita, and beer. My wife thought the sunrise was great with plenty of booze. My daughter liked the margarita but found it short of booze. Now, the desserts were delectable. We had cheesecake, turtle cheesecake and lemon raspberry. Both were wonderful. They were a good size. While rich, I can attest to the wonderful flavor and texture of the turtle cheesecake. YUM! I would rate the service as average, but I think that was because they were too busy for only two wait staff. Worth a try.

Just got back from 6 days in Seattle and this place became our ‘go to’ place throughout our stay. Had breakfast, lunch and dinner on different days, served by different waiting staff and they were all delightful and attentive. Food is good and not too expensive- its not a fine dining experience but I would say good pub grub, particularly liked the breakfast compared with other places we tried, and the house burger is nice. Ice cold local beer and good view to people watch at the market topped it off nicely.

Located right in the market this is a decent place to go for lunch or dinner. Nothing fancy but good sandwiches, burgers, seafood and other American fare. They have a $5 kids menu and well were decked out for Halloween. More expensive than restaurants of similar quality but I think that is because it is located right in Pike Place Market.

The Pike Place Market can be a bit overwhelming in summer, but the Pike Place Bar and Grill offered us a refreshing respite from all the market excitement. Located across the street from the market proper and up a small flight of stairs, we were able to look down on the crowds while a nice breeze blew through the open windows. Wait staff were friendly, and willing to arrange a special order for us. We had a pleasant and satisfying meal.

very good food . location was good once we found how to get in to the restraint. prices were good . staff was very nice .

Huge shout out to the staff - we were seated in the bar area. The bartender was great as was our waiter for the food. Drinks good. Food just good. Nothing notable. Between our party of 6 we tried shrimp cocktail (basic) Reuben (good) fish and chips (ok) potato skins (ok) and calamari (good). All good just nothing memorable except for the staff.

After a morning in Pike Place market we stopped in here for lunch. We had a small wait but I wasn't too concerned about it because it was busy everywhere. We were seated in the bar area and got a booth by the widow that you can see them fling the fish across the counter. So it was entertaining to see while we waited for our food. Our waitress was Octavia and she was fantastic. We both tried the Smoked Salmon Club, let's just say this sandwich was huge. I was not expecting the portion to be that big, but it was delicious. It was nice to sit down and relax in Seattle and enjoy some really good food!

Fantastic service from our waiter Brent. Good guy Gave us some great recommendations for live music. Food here was good and the place is right in the market place so get a window table and watch the people

Great drinks good service, nice atmosphere. The good was just okay not bad but definitely not outstanding.

Yeah, as the tile says, the view of the market was the only redeeming factor this restaurant had. The food was mediocre (did not ask how we wanted our burgers cooked, that wqs our first red flag), the service was terrible. - Waited 30 minutes to get our drinks - Finally got ONE out of the seven we ordered - The rest of them showed up AFTER our food arrived. Two of us ordered beers, which were unceremoniously placed in cans in front of us. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind drinking out of a can, but at least offer a glass. - When the food finally arrived the starter we ordered came at the same time as the mains. Really?! - The only time we saw our waiter again was when he brought the bill - opened the bill and discovered he'd brought us the wrong one. Informed him of that, to which he replied "doubt it!". When he looked inside he said "oh, where did yours go?!" I don't know. Perhaps you should find out? All in all a very disappointing experience which we will never repeat, but yeah, at least the view was nice. I would love to think this was a singular experience, but judging from other recent reviews of this establishment, it would seem not to be the case.

The Pike Place Bar and Grill is not fancy, but the service was exceptionally friendly (especially for a tourist area), and the fish and chips were just fine! Rather than wait 30+ minutes for lunch at Matt's, we decided to try this place. Sometimes you don't need upscale/fancy, you just need lunch. Bonus: the place was all decked out for Halloween and has a good view of the market.

We struck out at the first two breweries we tried to go to and sort of accidentally ended up at this restaurant because we were hungry and didn’t want to continue wandering around aimlessly. We noticed that the prices were a bit high for the type of food that they had, but we knew the location is probably what Warren did that. However, what was unfortunate, was that the food was very mediocre at best in addition to being overpriced. What was worse, was that our server seemed to have no filter. He used the phrase M****r F****r know if you were than four times when describing the beer and other items. At the end of the meal, he actually brought up politics and his personal point of view about the election of President Trump. Finally, on our bill, there was an additional item added, a three dollar charge for garlic bread, that we had not ordered. Even before we brought it to his attention directly, he apparently noticed us questioning the charge and came back with a different bill that did not include that item. I’m very suspicious that this is a routine practice there hoping that you simply don’t notice and pay the extra amount. Well, the view and location is really nice, and the food is adequate, I cannot recommend this location based on the service experience and price

Some good views of the market place. Happy Hour is a pretty good deal. Drinks are good..I've never had an actual meal there..just nachos etc. No complaints. Service was good. I prefer the bar in the back against the back window. So much going on outside, nice to watch all the commotion while having a drink.

Server was nice enough and attentive. The food was OK but nothing special. It was hot inside, I'm not sure if they had air and it just wasn't on or what. I ordered the muscles and they were good but the crab cakes were not. Everywhere else had long lines and this place wasn't busy at all so theirs thay.

Quiet spot in the midst of Pikes Place Market. Windows overlook the market but not the port. Great seating for a small crowd of friends. Fish and chips were great. Decent beer selection.

Wonderful service, fish and chips, bellinis and vibe! Hidden gem in the market! Octavia was our awesome server.....beauty!

My wife and I visited Seattle in the Fall last year and following a visit to the space needle and MOPC we took the monorail down to nearby Pike Place. A short walk we found PPB&G (the entrance and stairs up to the bar is signed on the side of the building) We took a window table and enjoyed our drinks from the fun joking barman. Down below there was a piano player located on the edge of the market who created interest with his range of music and gathered a crowd. The day was hot and sunny and our table seats overlooking the street and marketplace were just perfect. Memorable - worth a visit.

The Marketplace is busy and offers lots of options for breakfast bakeries. However, if you want a quieter place, with a higher level view of the crowds, and a healthier breakfast option - try Pike Place Bar and Grill. We enjoyed the daily special - a crab and asparagus omelet - with a choice of sides. Fewer calories for fabulous food. Friendly and accommodating service.

We picked this place at random. We were seated in the bar right next to a table full of the waitresses friends. We ordered drinks and dinner. We were largely ignored. Food was overcooked and cold by the time we were served. A request for mayo went unanswered until my chicken sandwich was ice cold.

Decided to try this place for lunch. What a great day for shopping, the weather was great for February. Clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl, please. It was tasty, and the chowder was original and tasted homemade. Chicken strips were hot, and the breading was seasoned perfectly. Good drink and beer selection. Not too busy, and the service was prompt and courteous. Cool atmosphere with a nice view of the namesake public market.

We had lunch at this place and sit by the open window overlooking the market. The food was actually very good. Smoked salmon, crab cake, and nice fresh salad. The service was exceptional with very pleasant watresses. Great place!

Do not go here. I thought I was going to a local gem but boy was I wrong. I ordered a simple Moscow mule and it was the worst mule I've ever had. The bartender did not even give me a napkin and did not come back for a while. When he did I asked for food recommendations, his response was we just have bar food. I said I was looking at the crab cakes and he told me they were overpriced and not worth it. Then I asked for my check and he was annoyed with me and tried to backtrack and give recommendations but it was the worst decision I made to come here by myself. Save yourself the time and energy and go down the stairs by the gum wall and go to The Alibi Room. They knew how to make drinks and they were super friendly.

Great location in seattles market place. Great food, great service. The spinach and artichoke dip is delicious and our waitress, Julia, was so sweet. She told us so much to do.

This is a wheelchair accessible restaurant that allows service dogs. Two big points in its favour. The service was friendly and efficient. Unfortunately, the food wasn't anything special, giving the impression of being straight out of a can. It was bland and unimaginative. The portions were generous, but this doesn't mean much if it isn't very good. Disappointing.

Sat in the bar area and had a cool view of Pike Place Market. There was live entertainment below so we got a free show. Food was good, service was good.

This is obviously a bit of a tourist trap, as it is right on the doorstep of Pike Place Market. The beer is ok, the food is ok, but that is about it. Handy if you need to have a sit down after a few hours walking, but it doesn't seem to be a 'local'.

I got to Pikes Market early and decided to stop for breakfast. This resturante is across from the Market in a lovely space with large windows overlooking the market. Try the Belgian waffle. They are huge and have almost a malted taste. Yummy The strawberry were fresh with lost of wipped cream. My waiter was very friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. Though it looks like they take Halloween seriously that is not a drawback in October.

A good location if your table faces the market for people watching. The food is average, the service great! Welcomed by the owner, served by the bar staff, just as nice and friendly as could be. I enjoyed it.

We dined here the night of our arrival in Seattle. After a very long journey from the U.K, we just wanted something easy and filling. We ordered burgers and some drinks. The food was hot and tasty. Drinks were good too. It wasn't too expensive and the service was really good. No complaints.

We went here for lunch over the summer while in town for a ball game. They were slammed busy, as was every restaurant in the area. The staff was friendly and I must say were great with some not so friendly patrons! They deserve a huge shout out for that! Was kid friendly as well.

Really wish we had found this place earlier in our holiday. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, the staff are very helpful and hard working, the food was delicious 😋. It overlooks Pike Place Market, opposite one of the wet fish stands.

Convenient place to stop for a drink along the way. Good selection of locally made beer and a couple ciders. Neat ambience with all the vats and beer making equipment on display.

We ate here after touring visiting Pikes Market I had a bowl of chowder and appetizer of popcorn rock shrimp. The shrimp were good but the chowder was bland.

A really nice restaurant. Great view. Nice selection of food. Reasonably priced. Some of the wait staff can be a little stuffy but it really is a good restaurant.

Good selection and tasty food. Quick and attentive service. Just steps from the market. Nice atmosphere!

Location is great and that is what you are paying for more than the food,, many better choices in Seattle than this..

My husband and I had a random date night and we came here since, after living in Seattle for 7 years, we had never been to this area of the market. We had a couple great drinks, an amazing waiter and a wonderful evening of sitting & chatting.

Excellent food, the service was great!! I had the cod fish and fries, so crispy and hot! My friend had clam strips, fish and fries

Service was wonderful, food was wonderful and we had an incredible view of Pikes market across the street with windows that were open to the fresh ocean air!

Since this is a brewery and its beers are recommended, we decided to eat there as well. Good basic food, cheerful service, reasonable price.

Food was good, service good. We liked it. We had the crab soup it was filling and hot. It was a bit noisy and no view, but all said and done it was a great place for a break, and a drink.

Had been to this place about 10 years previous and took a while to find as it's now surrounded by many other establishments. Reasonably priced drinks, not enough local brews as with most places in Seattle these days. Had the appetiser fish and chips which was delicious and enough for sharing. Daily specials are well priced. Would recommend if you don't mind the old school, outdated surroundings - part of the charm I guess.

We went there for lunch and we had a fantastic meal. The smoked salmon sandwich was great. We had a window table that overlooked the market which was pretty cool.

This restaurant has a lot of potential but failed to deliver on quality of food and service. It appears that the management has cut back on the staff and food quality. I had the fish and chips, my wife the Tacos al Pastor. Both of the entrees were poor quality with the minimal main ingredient to qualify as the as advertised product. Wait staff was overworked and just like the food just barely passed muster. With so many restaurants to choose from in Seattle I would never go back.

We had a great table that looked out onto the Public Market and the street below as well as the harbor. The prices were good and we were there for Happy Hour, so they had drink specials as well. All of the food was good, but I had the chicken pot pie that gets a Five star rating, it was fantastic. Lots of room here with a bar area, one of my favorites on our week long trip to Washington.

We love going to Pike Place Bar and Grill as everything is always good. Depending on the season or holiday the look will be festive. The view is of Pike Place Market but up a level so offers a different perspective. Our favorite dish is their “All you can eat Belgian Waffle”. We typically order these with berries and whip cream; there are other options. While we are always asked if we are ready for another waffle, they are large enough and delicious, we have never quite felt up to doing a second waffle justice. Prices are comfortable, service is excellent.

The restaurant was clean, we were seated quickly and after a few minutes our server warmed up. We were there for lunch. The halibut was good, The Nachos were ok. My two boys got the halibut, one got chicken strips, my wife and I split nachos. The food was ok. The bill was $113, this is probably average for eating in the tourist district.

Great beers here with a really weird set up. We only got beer so can't really grade on customer service.

Delicious food and beverages! We had a sangria and a strawberry margarita- yummy! Great service from our waitress today too!

Service was just ok. Food also was just Ok nothing special. Really boring place. I would not go there again.

We went to this place based upon the recommendation of our daughter. It has a very attractive, comfortable old school woodsy feel to it. Our waiter arrived quickly to take our trip order. We were there for breakfast and I wanted a good Bloody Mary and didn't get that. It was served in a small glass with a mediocre at best flavor. Actually, it was pretty bad. We then ordered food. I ordered the Eggs Benedict with ham which is my all time favorite breakfast and due to my wifes sever food allergies we rarely eat out these days. So this was going to be special. My daughter got the egg frittata and my wife got two eggs with bacon and potatoes. When the food arrived I received a salmon Eggs Benedict, which was a bummer since I really wanted to have a great Easter morning breakfast. I decided to just share the breakfast that my wife and daughter received. I asked the friendly waiter to just bring me a plate and then we waited...and waited. He finally arrived with a tiny saucer size plate. Even he realized this was silly so off he went to get a big boy plate. And then we waited...and waited some more. When the plate finally arrived my daughter and wife gave dad some food. It was ok,nothing to rave about, but pretty good, but we needed some sauce to spice things up. My daughter asked for some hot sauce and I asked for some aoli. This never arrived, so we ate the remainder of our meal giving up hope that he will return and realized this young man is amazingly forgetful. A nice kid, but he needs to actually listen to people and remember what they asked for. He has a line something like "Can I get you a beverage that will make your day better? I heard the lady behind us say " Ya, like the one I ordered 20 minutes ago" Bottom line, we will give them another shot. The place has a nice, comfortable vibe, a little spendy but if we get what we actually ordered it might be great.

the decorations I would say is like visiting a museum for free. great burger and fries. do not let the construction keep you away. this is a guy place for sure. My guy picked it and he enjoyed it very much,

A good menu selection....what you would expect to find where some home brewing takes place....lots of foot traffic.....average food to enjoy with average brews.

We went here for lunch, 2 of us. We were told 20 to 30 minutes wait. We could see a couple of tables empty. After 15 minutes we were showed to a table. Waiter ash what we wanted to drink, I ordered a beer. A different person brought us water. Our waiter made 4 or 5 trips with a single item to a table across from us. He NEVER came back for our order, I got a beer, NOT mine, he came back and snatched off the table, after another 20 minutes, for a wasted 35 minutes, and trying to get him back, we left without any food or drink. I talked to the manager, he said OH WELL, THAT WAS ALL I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

Out of towners and got there late evening just looking to get something to eat. Lots of places were closed but Pike Place Bar & Grill seemed like a great place to relax and grab a bite. We weren't disappointed. Our server took the time to answer questions and made us feel welcome. Good food in a fun place overlooking The Fish Market. We enjoyed our visit

Stopped into this location for a beer and a snack during one of the World Series games. Its a very cool venue from a historical aspect but its time for a serious makeover. If they want to attract a sports pub crowd then the bar needs a re-design and freshen up. We had a couple of beers and a plate of nachos. Nothing exciting here. Its too bad because with the really great location and old timbers this could be an exciting historical venue.

Reasonable food-nothing out of the ordinary. Did not think it served market fresh produce. The atmosphere was quite dreary and need a re vamp-there are better places to eat in Pike Place-we were sucked in by the blurb on the tourist map

I had the frittata with crab which was wonderful. My husband just had bacon and eggs which was also good. The service was fast and friendly. We were seated with a great view of the entrance to Pike Place Market. We people watched while we ate.

Stopped here for lunch the day after Thanksgiving. Low-key, family type restaurant with reasonable prices. The fish sandwich was fabulous! Highly recommend it. Great view of the market below.

We did a touristy day around Pike Place on a beautiful day in August. Most of the restaurants we passed were either overflowing or simply too kitschy. When we walked in, an absolutely delightful maitre-d/front person seated us immediately at a nice table with a view out into the marketplace. Service was quick and pleasant throughout our meal. My wife and I shared the smoked salmon club sandwich and a bowl of steamed clams; both were delicious. The clams in particular came in about the best buttery broth I've ever tasted. The salmon in the sandwich was well-smoked and abundant. We would go back in a second.

My intent was to go to The Crumpet Shop for breakfast but they were extremely busy and this restaurant was directly behind the shop in a quiet hallway. We gave it a try because we were starving. The salmon and spinach omelette was superb! Ad cheese and jalapeños and I promise you will want to go back the next day! The Mimosas were even better! Give it a try! You will not be disappointed!

We were starving and stopped here and it was delicious! The food was good, fast and delicious! My son had two helpings of their fries! The waiter was so friendly and gave us good advice

Ate in the lounge one late night, no wait, great view of the Pike Place Market sign. Quick service and good food.

Stopped in for some local brew. Many choices in the different beer catagories.Fun atmosphere and staff.

Went on June 25th at 1:15 pm ,sat at the bar waited a long time on the bartender,he was to busy putting glassware away and talking to 2 waitresses !I also seen him make a drink with lemon and limes touching everything with his hands then I seen him go deep into his rear paints for a long enough time that I said to my wife look well we left just after that idk how this place gets a 4 star on Google

If you come to Pike Place Market, walk across the street to this tucked away gem for breakfast, lunch or dinner. They also have a bar that features different beers & drinks. When in Seattle, I always make sure to stop here

We had a nice meal here after looking around. The server was friendly. The food as really good and arrived quickly. The restaurant wasn't busy

Stopped for brunch whilst walking around the massive market. Sat upstairs in a fairly quiet area. The menu was varied with a few different options from the normal fare. I had a chorizo burrito and my wife had avocado and egg on sour dough. Both very nice and very filling. Limitless coffee to go with it.

Stopped in here on a whim. Considering there are so many other amazing options in Seattle, would not go back. We had fish and chips with salads. The salads were very basic, however the croutons were really good. The fish and chips were average. Service was friendly but a little scattered.

This is a fabulous place for a beverage and more. Shanna at the bar…ROCKS! Loved it the 1st time I came, this is my 2nd visit.

We found ourselves down at the Pike Place Marker around 6:30 one cold and damp night and discovered that most of the eateries are closed by 5PM. We did a bit of wandering and found Pike Place Bar and Grill open and happy for customers. We were welcomed and seated quickly. The restaurant was warm, and the smells from the kitchen suggested that we had made a good choice. My spouse had a bowl of steaming chowder and I had a crab cake burger that was just the thing for a cold night. We are very happy that we "discovered" Pike Place Bar and Grill and know that when we are back this way again, we will be sure to come back.

I do understand the mixed reviews this place gets. It's not for those looking for the perfect meal, perfectly served, and presented with artistic swirls of French sauces. However, this has been a stop for us every year when we visit the market around Christmas. Very little has changed about the establishment in the 30 years we have been coming here. It is cozy, and we've always been seated with a booth overlooking the entrance to the market. We've had the same server for 30 years. I'm a beer snob, and their selection always includes a couple of local beers that satisfy. Great fish and chips, and my wife always raves about the chicken pot pie. This is our last stop after a day wandering the market and neighborhood, and we always leave satisfied. This kind of establishment represents the heart and soul of the Pikes Market.

I would definitely recommend it. The food was delicious, our server was friendly, it’s about as close to Pike Place Market as you can get, and it wasn’t too expensive.

We wanted to get away from the crowds of Pike's Market and ended up at Pike Place Bar and Grill for lunch. I enjoyed the spinach salad, my husband enjoyed the oriental chicken salad; both were very good. It was a warm day so we enjoyed iced tea with our lunch and the cool breeze coming in the windows.

Well stopped by here for lunch because it looked like a good place to eat and right across the street from pike market. The service was pretty good but our waiter was changing light bulbs and fixture head in between serving us. Thank goodness for us that he didn't do this near our table but did do this next to other customers while they were eating. This should mot have veen done during time people are dining. The food was less thsn stellar to say the least. Ordered a 1/3 pound burger and a bowl of chowder along with two beers. The waiter either not knowledgeable about the beer or not interested in telling us about the craft veers on tap when we acquired about different ones so we picked what sounded interesting to us. The beers were so so but probably would have ordered something different of yhey were described to us. As far ss the burger goes I should have went to MacDonalds. The burger was flat as a pancake (probably a frozen pstty from the looks of it) and was never asked how I wanted it cooked, probably wasn't even a option with this thin burger. The chowder was mediocre at best definitely not worth ordering in my opinion. I suggest that you check trip advisor and look somewhere else to eat other than here.

Our first time in Seattle…. Went to Pikes Peak Bar and Grill. Looked like a great spot. As per usual, communicated the anaphylactic allergies ( we carry two epipens for our two children that could STOP BREATHING from the wrong exposure) to our server who in turn communicated them to the chef… who confirmed knowledge… and avoidance of items… proceeded to serve us the item we were trying to avoid. Made server aware… he sent over the manager. Being a server myself for the last 30 years + I try to not make a big deal out of many things… and mistakes absolutely happen. However…. I also know the habits and excuses restaurant staff give and could clearly see after about 15 minutes that the remake had never been communicated with the chef… watched the server TELL the cook and the subsequent behavior as follows. Three of us finished our meals and our water… left the table with no drinks because they were hiding from us… refused to make eye contact… actually turned around and went in a different direction. When we asked the manager if it would be ready soon she decided that rudeness and condescending tones were a great idea…. Deflecting from the mistakes being made by showing anger. We cancelled our remake… paid for our three meals we did eat and left with a very rude “Have a nice day” that 200% was intended as a “screw you” from the service staff. I suggest and hope that this restaurant does a better job educating everyone there the importance of allergies being taken seriously. Until then good luck in not harming anyone and guests , please don’t forget your epipens.

A bustling pub and brewery with good food and a range of home-brewed beers. At 56 years of age i was surprised to be asked for ID!

The market is a bustling, busy place. It had started to rain, so we were happy to slip into the restaurant and get a seat. I had a generous portion of fish and chips. Bathrooms require a key and a trip to the hallway in the mall area.

I write lots of reviews and rarely are they bad, but avoid this place (because of the service). We were there for lunch and had to wait a long time before anyone even came to our table. Then we were greeted with "sorry, there was some confusion as to who's table this was". Then once we ordered, he took our drink and food order, didn't write anything down, came back two minutes later and said "now what did you order again?". Then it took a LONG time to get our food, so long he had to come out and apologize twice about how long it was taking. The food was fine, the service was TERRIBLE! AVOID THIS PLACE.

We were looking for a low key spot for dinner downtown, we hit the jackpot with Pike Place Bar & Grill. We sat at the bar, bartender and manager were so fun to talk to. Great local spot, excellent food, and an overall good vibe.

I approached the downstairs entrance and initially was mistaken for some kind of restaurant rep. I guess they were waiting on someone to meet with the management. Anyway, the host ask if I wanted a seat at the bar or a table. I said table... I had some stuff to look at for work while I was eating a late lunch. I was seated at at a high top table in a corner...perfect. I could see the whole place (very unique). Brian was my server and was very pleasant and made me feel right at home(he was fantastic!). I ask the difference between two IPAs and he offered free samples so I could choose between the two. I chose the Pike Space Needle Golden IPA(very nice). I ask Brian if the wings were any good? ...Knowing I was in seafood town. He actually said they they had a slight kick and described how the chef prepared them and he thought I would like them... I WAS SO HAPPY I ORDERED THE WINGS!! I was so Surprised!! These are some of the best wings I have had anywhere in the world. I travel a lot. I am happy I got the wings and Brian (as a server) recommended them. Check them out at a good price too. Of course beer was great! Cheers Steve.

We were in here with a tour so just got a drink but it was so pretty. And it tasted good. This tour comes in as a stop so I don’t feel comfortable speaking on the service. It was upstairs. Not sure if there was an elevator somewhere but I didn’t see one. Have to ask the host for a key to the bathroom.

Good quality food overlooking The Public Market in Seattle. We enjoyed great fish and chips, a wonderful burger with fries and cocktails while watching fish fly at the world famous market in Seattle. Service was especially noteworthy...great spot for lunch. Ask for a window table!

Had the highly recommemded fish n chips (arctic cod sounds better, but atlantic cod is best), little greasy and served with bland tarter, cold fries, and less than impressive slaw. Fish tacos were decent but over garnished. Pork sliders were ok but very dry. Server was very nice. I wouldn't recommend this place.

We ate here because The Pike's Place Chowder House had an enormous line. We walked around and all the places did not have seats. We settled on here. We were told a 15 minute wait, we waited less than 5. The server was a little slow, but he did state the kitchen was backed up. Well it took 40 minutes for our food to arrive. I would avoid if you must know.

Food delicious! Rockefeller Oysters totally fabulous. Alcoholic Flights are great. Really enjoyed the food would highly recommend this place.

This is really a great location, at night the Pike's Market sign lights up the whole restaurant. My wife got the "Halibut", I doubt it was Halibut, it had bones in it. She only took a few bites and gave up on it. They apologized and offered to replace it, but she had filled up on the calamari appetizers that she enjoyed. I had the chicken and waffles, they said is was one of their specialties. The chicken was unrecognizable, it was flat, thin and fried to a crisp. I was disappointed.

This was the first place my friends and I ate at in Seattle and it did not disappoint! We had been having a long day of exploring and had the hankering for a good burger. We followed the signs to Pike Place Bar & Grill and were promptly seated, which was impressive since we had a party of 5. Great food, great service, two thumbs up!

First time there...great location but the decor was dated. Staff was friendly enough. I ordered the Chef Salad... WORST salad I ever had. Was a dinner salad size portion for $15.99. Was very surprised that the veggies were not fresh. Lettuce was partially wilted, the chicken was over cooked and the blue cheese crumbles overwhelmed the salad. Let me not mention the eyelash or eyebrow hair that I found on my chicken when I was almost done with my salad. Also...no fresh brewed Iced tea. I recommend going somewhere else.

After 5 weeks on the road we were visiting the markets before heading to the airport for our flight back home. So we decided to get a last decent meal before having 30 hours of airline food. So when we walked past this place it looked great and we were promptly seated and when our orders were taken the alarm bells went off when i asked for the bacon a certain way and got told that "sorry we cant do that because we cook our bacon in the morning and just reheat it when ordered" Considering there were only 3 other tables in the entire place with people at them, surely they can cook bacon and eggs fresh but apparently not. My bacon and eggs arrived and the bacon tasted like re-heated bacon and it also arrived with no toast to go with the bacon and eggs, apparently i had to order the toast as well. After 5 weeks of traveling and eating out every morning and night this would normally be pointed out by the server that a simple bacon and eggs doesn't come with toast. Anyway i never thought you could ruin something as simple and bacon and eggs but i think this place has found a way. In 5 weeks this wasn't our worst meal but it come a very close second. It was a disappointing last meal.

We were in town all of 13 hours and happened to come here for a late lunch. We sat at a booth by an open window with an incredible view of the market. The food was delicious, our waiter was kind, attentive, and had great suggestions of other places to see (Ballard Locks are a must) Definitely recommend.

We stumbled across this place while visiting the Pike Place market. Great food. Geraldo was awesome. Looking forward to going back.

We ate here primarily out of a desire for a convenient location near the market- we had just gotten off a cruise ship and gone to a hotel to leave our bags and return to the downtown area so we were hungry. The location here is great - good views overlooking the market and we were greeted warmly. Nothing hugely adventurous on the menu but there is a good selection and prices are about average for the location. The food and the beer was good - and also plentiful. Our waiter was friendly and attentive and whilst we didn’t have a spectacular meal, it was tasty and what we needed it to be

Great Clam Chowder, Artichoke Salad and Salmon Club. The Space Dust IPA was excellent in recommendation from our server Luke C. All in all a super luncheon experience. Luke went out if his way to make us welcome and the service was great!

Atmosphere and good food in the heart of pike market. To escape the hustle and bustle of a hot day on the market were found this place. Window seats give a good view of the street so you can people watch while you wait for your order. Waitress have us the top on the best for to order and the food was delivered quickly. Decent prices for such a tourist place as well.

2 story pub/brewery. Cool ambiance, good food, great service. Located along Pike st. or access from alley below street level, Good local brews, excellent seafood selection, appetizers. Stephanie, the hostess was so accomodating to seat us, as my son had a broken foot.

This was our first meal in Seattle after a long flight so we only wanted a small meal, This place was ideal. We were by the window so could see the market. I enjoyed my clam chowder very much

Self serve bar and seating. We had a quick stop for a beer . The pike beer was good. Bar was busy so no service. Amazing Jays fans made the experience great !

Located across the street from one of the main entrances to the market it’s in a perfect location. Food was good, priced reasonably and a friendly staff. My wife said it was the best balsamic dressing she has ever had.

It was dirty sticky tables & menu's, the bar tender seemed to be grumpy. Considering its a tourist area you would think she would be a bit nicer.

Very unwelcoming. The food itself was ok but nothing wow. Better places locally as I found out during the rest of my stay. The location is great though.

The food was mediocre. Service was good. Decor was dated with lots and lots of booths but with windows across the back that looked out over the middle of Pike Place Market. It was a little hard to find. You have to go from the street into a hallway between two storefronts, make a jig to the left to enter the door. They did have a little live music band playing some nice music softly.

Fantastic burger and Bloody Mary's at Pike Place. Perfect place for lunch. First time in Seattle post COVID and glad we found this spot.

We ate lunch at the Pike Place Bar & Grill while we were visiting Pike Place Market. It is right across from the famous sign on the second floor. We all had New England Clam Chowder and it was delicious. We also had the crab cake appetizer which while pricey was also delicious. It came with 2 small crab cakes. We were seated promptly right by the windows overlooking the Pike Place Market. The waiter was extremely responsive. He was very quick to refill our drinks. We also had some questions about the area. We had a map and he helped us figure out where everything was that we wanted to see. We had a nice lunch. We got to sit down and we didn't have to wait in line.

Sat at the bar and tried the beer sampler. All the beers were VG. They placed the beers in order of ALC %. I think the flavor strength should be the order to drink them. The stout outdid the Belgian in flavor, kind of drowned out the Belgian. Place was clean and interesting for the eyeballs. I would recommend a brew here.

Stopped there for lunch after walking around the market with friends. I ordered their fish and chips which turned out to be pretty good. Big pieces of fish with light batter, very crispy and not too oily. The service was pretty good too.

across the street from the Pike Place Market on the second floor, it is a fairly nondescript place. We had a window booth overlooking the entrance to Pike Place Market so the people watching kept us entertained. The menu boated that they get fresh fruit and vegetables from Pike Place Corner Produce. The cup of fruit I ordered had moldy raspberries so it didn’t seem that fresh to me. Others in our party enjoyed the steamed clams, oriental chicken salad, burgers and sandwiches.

This place needs a whole remodel. It looks like my grandma's house in 1992. The tables have been "revamped" and are perpetually sticky. You know that special rubber paint you put on your garage floor? they put that on their table tops. So weird! Service a bit slow, but not bad. It was really hot and muggy inside. One of the servers looked like he was between benders with dark circles and constantly sniffing. Diet coke was flat and i had to send it back, the second one was ok. The food was surprisingly good. We had crab cakes and a burger. Fresh ingredients and moist burger. No line when all other places are busy, so that says a lot. If you ignore the table tops and get a waitress who isn't strung out, the food will be good. It's a good choice if you want to stop walking and eat some food at grandma's house.

Great gem in the middle of the mass crowd of Pike Place. Local hangout and the food and beverages are priced reasonable.

This was an average bar near the market. Unfortunately, drinks there were a bit marred when a patron there got sick...I mean really sick...after he apparently had too much to drink. I thought he may have become really ill because no cajoling or nudging or chastising by the manager could revive him. Still, you don't judge a place by one unfortunate incident, though at the best of times this local bar does not seem to excel.

Food was excellent and flavorful. We had salmon dinner and the salmon was seasoned to perfection along with the mashed potatoes and asparagus. The Mac and cheese was also a hit with my daughter. The service was great as well.

Food was really very good and the service was fantastic, if your can deal with finding parking near Pike Place, this is worth a stop. Nice beer selection as well and great view. We had fish and chip and a bourbon burger, would suggest either.

Unlike other reviews, service was the best part of our experience. But, the food was seriously lacking. The location is great. You can see the Pike Place sign out the window, and the restaurant was able to take reservations for 11 people pretty last minute for a Friday night. That might have been a bad sign. Nearly all our food was lukewarm at the best. A couple of members of our group ordered seafood fettuccine dishes that had been sitting under a heat lamp for far too long. When the server distributed them, they looked so dried out. My husband and I shared a mixed plate with cod and shrimp plus coleslaw and fries. The shrimp was pretty good, but the cod was pretty lackluster. The coleslaw was not good at all, and the fries were simply fries but probably undercooked a bit. Though nobody really complained, I watched our group members pick at their meals to finish them, and afterwards, they didn't talk about the meal -- unlike every other meal in Seattle after which they all couldn't stop talking about how great their food was. This place has so much potential. They have lots of seating -- and places for large groups. They overlook the market. But, they need to work on their food. To have very few tables on a Friday night at 7 p.m. shows the result of not serving great food in an area where places without much seating are serving fantastic food.

I last reviewed this establishment December, 2017, and gave it a 5 star review, but it has really slipped in 2 years. For 30 years my family and I have been eagerly coming here for for dinner during our annual Christmas trip to downtown Seattle and the Pikes Place Market. I'm sad to say this year will be the last. Starting last year, the menu has been scaled back. Our favorite super-nachos appetizer is gone. My wife's favorite chicken pot pie is no longer on the menu. Our waitress (who was great) informed us that the fish is not sourced from the market anymore. Most disturbing was the very loud and awful music blaring throughout the dining room...something that would have fit better in an '80s disco lounge with strobe lights. Even the Christmas tree in the entryway is gone.

Friendly staff. Great service. Food was solid. Little overpriced based on location, but your stomach will be full and that is ok

So, this review is a bit harder to write. The place is so retro cool, great view with a bathroom (not common at PPM) and good prices. Great balcony view, old coastal wood paneling paper napkins, just a great spot. Menu is sammys, seafood and a couple pastas, bfast also looked great. I had the blackened salmon alfredo, wife had crab cake burger. Ceviche tower for app. All food was rockstar. The downside was our server, he screwed up two other tables, as well as ours. Also, we're not "sexist" people, but the server talked only to me, not my wife, which was weird. Thankfully we were not in a hurry and had an app, so the hour and fifteen we were there was not a big deal. Will def return but will sit at the bar next time to avoid that dude.

Lunch was good..we were told everything (ingredents and sea foods) were fresh from Pikes Place Market. Business has been there some 60 years. Happy Hour prices 4-7 pm were great 👍

We went on a Saturday around 4 and were seated almost right away. The staff was very friendly and a great atmosphere. The menu is not overwhelming and lots of great offerings.

Excellent dinner! I did not expect much as we needed food fast before seeing a show. Everything we had was absolutely delicious.

We had a table by the window overlooking the Market. It was a nice day so it was very comfortable there with the windows open. I had a BLT with avocado which was very good. Our server was nice but I think he must have been new. Everything we asked him he had to look up or come back with an answer. We all enjoyed our food and the price and portions were adequate

They need to learn how to make Clam Chowder, change tables for more room and felt like we were going to be yelled at. To many other places to choose from, don't bother with this one.

Called in by chance for a meal and drink. Service was quick and very efficient. Lovely waitress C was a blast, sharing jokes and stories. Penne pasta was just right and only the second meal I've ever finished. Beer was cold and prices good. Would recommend.

Our salmon and cod fish sandwiches were very good. Loved the homemade tarter sauce. Very comfortable seating. Felt like home. A must for lunch while visiting Seattle. Cost was about 80$ with a tip, appetizer and lunch for three with an appetizer and three drinks!

Visited Seattle for the day whilst on holiday in Vancouver, didn't really have any plans so ended up in this pub which was a stroke of luck. Great atmosphere and ambiance. Trendy and the food did not dissappoint. I had a Alaskan salmon sandwich which I can only describe as outstanding, every bite was an assault on the senses and I have to say this was my favourite meal of the whole holiday Hats off to this place, if you are in Seattle make your way there for food and drinks 🍻

You're rarely more than 20 feet from food while wandering Pike Place. Food on a stick, in a cup, in a wrap, in a bag, in a crowded shop - some better than many others. When you're done wandering and just want a great place to settle down for great food, come here. If you're unconvinced - have a cup of chili. The remaining menu is as great.

Based solely on food and service, our lunch here was not above average, but the window table made for a very pleasant meal. The place was maybe half full on a Monday around 1, but for whatever reason our waiter David seemed slammed. He must have skipped several classes at charm school, but he was caring and attentive in his way, although some of his communication was a quick "your XX is on its way," type comment, whether it was true or not. My wife's hot tea came with lemon, but no spoon nor any offer of sugar or cream. The Caesar salad was crisp. The nachos were OK but arrived without salsa. When I asked for some it came fairly promptly in a little cup and was OK, but why it wasn't part of the order seemed strange. The tea was not on the check, but my beer was a dollar more than what I'd ordered and received. I'm generally scrupulous about pointing out errors on checks whether they favor me or the house, but in this case it seemed like I'd be adding to David's difficult day, so I just paid what was asked. The check included a prompt for a 15, 20, and 25% tip on the total including Seattle's 10+% sales tax. Should people really be expected to tip a percentage of the sales tax?

Went for a late weekend breakfast. Food was okay but nothing great. Coffee was fair, service was strange and not so good. Location is great but that’s about it.

The best way I can describe this restaurant is inoffensive. We actually walked in here by accident thinking it was a different restaurant and ended up just staying. The hosts, servers, and barkeeps were all nice. The location is excellent and convenient if you are at Pikes Market. The food was fine and the prices were fair but nothing was truly exceptional or tasty. Everything was just fine, was hoping for something more memorable.

Ate her while downtown night before cruise to Alaska. Was perfect atmosphere to sit and relax with good meal and spirits, not too pretentious but nice atmosphere with relaxed feel with quality food. Easy to walk to if you can walk to Pike's market.
Great food very slow service
There were 2 of us as couples and we each ordered something different. All the food was delicious but the service was very very slow. It’s great for relaxing and watching the street and market below, just don’t go if you are in a hurry.
