We went for dinner on 6/9/25. We come to Las Vegas 2 times a year and enjoy eating at a new restaurant for us. We were seated immediately and then had a nice man take our drink order. It went down from there. A woman came and took our order. She was rude and indifferent. We had a few questions about the menu and she acted like she could have cared less. She took our order and then proceeded to start throwing dishes for sauces together, making a lot of noise. My husband tried to get her attention to ask about a dish that wasn’t delivered with the meal and she completely ignored him. The food was good but service a 0. Will not be going back or referring anyone else to try Ping Pang Pong.

Our group enjoyed our food here at Ping Pang Pong. Fast service, delicious food! Wonton soup is to die for. Shumai? Omg, so good! Duck was very tasty, fried rice I was perfectly seasoned. Even the garlic steamed Chinese broccoli was so good! This place ruined all other chinese restaurants for me. My chinese food expectations are now way up there, it will be hard for me to enjoy Chinese food now since I've had the best. Most of all, you don't have to break the bank to dine here. Amazing! We will definitely be back. The first restaurant I will be dining to next time I'm in Vegas.

This restaurant is located inside the Gold Coast Casino right next to the Rio and across the street from The Palms. I had dim sum here two mornings in a row. Both days I arrived fifteen minutes before their 10 AM open and there was already a line. Not to worry, there are plenty of seats at this restaurant. Once seated, the parade of dim sum carts started rolling by. The variety was amazing. On my two trips, I tried the Ha Gow, Sui Mai, Chicken Feet, Steamed Ribs, Shrimp wrap in Rice Noodles, Cocktail Bao, Fried Shrimp Balls, and Thousand Year Egg Congee. The Sui Mai were the best item. The Cocktail Bao was warm and soft. The Congee was very good. The Shrimp wrap in Rice Noodles were delicious and there was four pieces with two regular sized shrimp in each. So a total of eight shrimp. Very generous portion size as most Chinese dim sum restaurants only offer three pieces with six shrimp. Ping Pang Pong is a touch pricier than other dim sum restaurants in the area but it is well worth it. I highly recommend coming here for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I will definitely eat here again next time I am in Las Vegas. This place lives up to the hype as one of the best dim sum restaurants in Las Vegas.

I wanted to try this place, but could not get past the hostess,...I was a party of 1 and was told that they were very busy and they could not seat me as they didn't have enough servers, (wasn't told that I could wait as most reputable places do), before I could walk away, a party of 6 walk up and we're seated, no problem, I was 4 feet from the hostess!! I waited for her to return to explain but surprise! She hid instead... I did wait for her to get enough courage to look at me,...all she could say was "it is our policy to always seat a bigger party" and that "I must understand," I don't think so.....maybe the food is good, ...unfortunately I will never know as I will never return..... if you are a party of one,....I hope that your experience is better then mine.

PAY CASH!! If you pay w the credit card, watch your statement. My bill was $57 + tips. Total $70. My credit card charged $101. Someone in the restaurant manually edited the pending charge. BE AWARE! I'll report to my credit card company 😠 PAY CASH!!

We eat here often and always enjoy the food. Our favorites are the orange chicken, chicken fried rice, and the dim sum. Service is always very friendly and prompt. As always, enjoy life, live, love, eat, drink, and have fun!! :)

Food was great! For a group who knows our chinese food, this place did not disappoint! We ate pretty late in the night (around 9pm) so we just walked in and was able to get a table right away. We had the calamari (highly recommended!) and dim sum for starters which were amazing, and ordered yang chow fried rice and kung pao chicken. We loved it, and the best part was it was cheap! Highly recommended.

My wife and I dined here for dinner with no reservation. We showed up at 9pm and were seated within 10-minutes. We had hot tea and white rice. We shared the Mu Shu Pork (Yummy), Egg Fu Young and the Mongolian Beef. The service was excellent on this visit and I will return again soon.

Read several reviews on line that raved about the place so we had to go. We are not dim sum regulars and probably didn't order the way we were supposed to. Some of the items were very good but others average. $60 tab for lunch for 2 people and it wasn't that great. So even if you are a dim sum afficianado be prepared to pay.

My girlfriend raves about this place in the Gold Coast Casino. I know she was upset because our food was not served all at once. She also warned me to never order an appetizer with the meal or it all comes out at once. I did like the pot stickers. We did get our Kung Pao chicken and Mongolian Beef immediately. Both were extremely tender but the chicken was not that spicy. We waited and waited and these dishes got cold before our General Tso’s chicken and Vegetable Fried rice came out. Very very bland rice. The General Tso’s was my favorite. I don’t usually like anything breaded but it was very light and had a great sauce. The staff apologized and offered us creme brûlée for our wait. It was not that great. But it was a nice gesture.

You are almost guaranteed to have to wait in line to eat at Ping Pang Pong. For good reason. They win awards over and over again for being one of the best Chinese restaurants in all of Las Vegas. The dim sum cart service is very attentive. It may not be too adventurous, but I highly recommend the BBQ pork with lo mein from their kitchen. Singapore noodles are excellent too. Table service has always been good and this last time was outstanding. The waitress was so amazingly friendly and helpful. Such a nice smile too. Whatever you order, you really can't go wrong at Ping Pang Pong.

I come here every time i go to Vegas! It never lets me down and the food is always on point. I actually won at the casino this time.

Located in the Gold Coast Casino. My wife and I dined here for dinner and were seated in the front of the restaurant. Literally, every minute I got to hear a very loud electric stapler "bang bang bang" and a cabinet being slammed at the hostess/cashier stand. This place used to always been packed. Not on my last few visits. We shared the Wor Wonton Soup that had very few ingredients. It should be renamed Broth Soup with a few shrimp peaking out looking where the vegetables and other meats were? There were about five wontons that were falling apart. Our second dish was very good and large. It was the Crispy Beef. Very tasty. The service was good at first, but getting the check took awhile. I added photos of our visit. I will give this place a break for a few months.

Ping pang pong is a great place for Dim Sum in the mornings @ 10AM. There located inside the Gold Coast Casino. Late night dining is offered till 2AM.

I really enjoyed my visit here. I will say that the service was a little scattered. Wasn’t exactly quick or attentive. But the food was very good. We started with some spring rolls and I had the sea bass and my friend had seafood noodles. We both really enjoyed them and it was a ton of food.

The food is very good in all. We went for lunch, which was primarily Dim Sum, though you could order off the regular menu too. The place was totally full very noisy and a bit overwhelming for nonAsian novices. The carts full of Dim Sum came by at rapid speed and most cart servers did not speak English, but expected you to make immediate choices (there was a dim sum menu, but no time to look, or opportunity to ask questions.) We should have asked for a regular waiter immediately, and life would have been much easier. We ended up with some random dim sum items and ordered off regular menu also. Although we ended up full and mostly satisfied, it was a chaotic experience, and not totally pleasant. One could tell this was a real treat for Asian customers - and seemed like "Sunday friends and family social gatherings", though it was Wed. in a casino. Dinner off a regular menu might be easier for visitors, not aware of all the ins and outs of Dim Sum ordering.

Great food, large quantity. We couldn't try all the popular dishes because we were so full. First time trying anchovy fried rice. Very good. A must visit if you are a foodie. Reasonable too.

To say the food is top notch doesn't quite seem enough. The staff was very friendly, the prices were so reasonable as to border on being cheap, the quality great and the quantity was crazy. So much food for the price, when you take a left-over box home, you'll have enough for at least one more, if not two meals (unless you're a competitive eater or something.) Atmosphere is very simple but not cheap. I spoke to someone while waiting in line to be seated, that they remodeled sometime in the past year or so. If you are hungry for good quality Asian fare, then look no further. Worth a trip away from the strip.

I have been going to this restaurant for years, every time I go to Las Vegas, have to go and eat there. Unfortunately that past 4 times that I have been there they run out of the grilled chicken. We normally go on Friday or Saturday night. They always are out of the chicken, which is the reason we go there. I told them this last time, take it off your menu if you are going to run out, and especially at 9:00 a night, and they are open until 3:00 p.m. How can you run out of one of the main foods. Once I understand, but 4 times in the last 6 months?

Overall I thought the food was pretty good. A little pricey I think for what you get. The crab lettuce wraps were a little light on crab. The service was excellent. All in all I would eat here again but know going in a little overrated.

Located in the Gold Coast Hotel & Casino. My wife and I dined here for dinner. We shared everything, including the Wor Wanton Soup, Mu Shu Pork (not on the menu, but yummy) and the Chicken with Black Bean Sauce. The food and service were excellent. I added many photos of our visit.

This restaurant was highly recommended by several people in the author community. This did not live up to expectations. The fried rice was little more than butter chicken rice. The Dim Sum bread was tasty but the filling was not and took away from the dish. The BBQ ribs was spoiled meat. The sweat and sour chicken was edible but not by much. The potstickers were made more like empanadas. The picture is what we left because it was good.

We finished all our meeting early , I like to take the offices staff for lunch , surprised me they all want to go to the Ping Pang Pong for lunch ! It is one of the best quality Cantonese Dim Sum in Vegas , also the Asian locals flavour place , know as " Chinese Kitchen " is located inside the Gold Coast Casino , honestly I love these restaurant too , every time in Vegas , I have to visit here , not a fancy extravaganza restaurant , but very mordant , airy , spacious place , walk in only , they open 10 am to 3pm for Dim Sum , open very late at night , the line up some time is over 20 mins or more , lucky I am a Boyd reward V.I.P. , no waiting at all , 9 of us , hostess so nice got us a nice round tablet away the main crowd , very friendly , not pricy , they have the Dim Sum cars go around the restaurant , so you just pick your flavour dish from the car , very variety luxury Dim Sum , good quality and tasty , steaming hot , not too much MSG also they have very good Lunch menu to choose from , service is fast and no problem with English , our teapot never empty , it seems every one having a great lunch together ! so if you visit Vegas , keep this Dim Sum restaurant in mind ! truly you will like it !

My wife and I went to Ping Pang Pong on Saturday, February 16th. The service was poor. I had to keep raising my hand to get our server to come to the table. The food was so greasy that I had to wipe my hands every time I took a bite. On top of this this we were served the wrong entree! Will never go back again.

The Chinese dining scene is loaded in LV like a lazy Susan at a Chinese wedding banquet. From the high end strip Casino places home of the $28 wonton min to the Spring Valley Mom and Pops with the dirty carpet from hell. PPP is right in the middle with solid Chinese sic fan at a reasonable price. Because their all day train station volume their food is ALWAYS fresh and of high quality. Service and sanitation are a cut above being within the umbrella of a grade B Casino. The menu is extensive and you can get all the usual favorites. We LOVED the sea bass pan fried. OMG the portion was the size of a 10oz New York steak so we OD’d on fatty fish filet. This dish would cost you $60+ on the strip and it was only $28 at PPP. So go and get your Chinese groove on and no worries about the bathroom/storage room/mop sink from hell It’s in a casino so it’s clean and fresh. Just like the cuisine!

Stopped in for a late night dinner. The Shrimp & chive dumpling was suggested by the server & did not disappoint. The siu mai were very different from what I’ve had in the past, so it was ok… maybe more authentic than what I’m used to. Fast service. Convenient.

Ping pang pong restaurant located in Gold coast hotel Las Vegas inside the casino. The restaurant quite big, the waiter / waitress can speak mandarin. The service was exclent. And the food also taste nice. We order for many dishes. For lobster, shrimp salted egg, tofu, black pepper beef, beef with vegies, pork. And the price not too bad for the restaurant inside the casino. Very china atmosphere inside the restaurant. Sure i will come back to this restaurant if have time in Las Vegas.

Unimpressed, we are unsure what other peoples expectations are when we read the great reviews!!! For us, this was expensive and bland chinease food. Went for dinner, having visited many times before, but on this occassion was not impressed at all. Ordered vegetable spring rolls- just pastry with hardly any veg or anyting in them. No taste at all. Poor! Ordered War Wonton Soup, very little substance to this either- tasteless broth, no flavour, like dish water, low on meat- 2 slithers of chicken, 1 shrimp, 6 wontons (which were nice). Overall poor value. Ordered Kung Pow chicken. Decent portion, but lacking in juice and not very spicy. Plus a boiled rice. (Hard to get wrong!!!! We don't drink, so just water and bill was $50!! (Soup and one main meal!!!! Come on!!! That's crazy!) Also, the service wasnt good either, asked for all our food to come together as we were with another couple, one meal came out after we had finished all the others! There's so many better options in Las Vegas for chinease food and what was in our view a great tasty, good value restaurant in the past is now unimpressive and offers expensive middle of the road food. We won't return.

When you walk into a chinese place and all you see are chinese people eating inside you know its good...the place is inside of the Gold Coast Hotel and Casino it off the strip and its not as bling bling as the ones on the strip...lol anyway I heard about this place from my co-workers as they ate there after a bowling tournament...looking at the menu was a bit challenging as they tried to convert the chinese names of things to english... one of the dishes we ordered had anchovies in the name now I know the chinese don't use anchovies but they do use a salted fish in their dishes...and basically that's what it was...so some of you favorite dishes you have ordered using its chinese name might be called something else here...other than that the food was very authentic and tasty

We ate here with a friend who lived locally. The food was very good by asian standards, oriented to asian tastes, not american. Service was good.

Decided to eat here after renting a car from here Very casual dining. Food freshly cooked and hot Service pleasant

So goo, we had to eat 3 times during our short visit. The service is consistently outstanding and food delivered hot and fresh.

After all the hype over the past few years, and hearing about the long lines, we walked right in and got a table and the experience was below my expectations. Granted, it was just based on one dish and I would go back to try other things if I'm at the Gold Coast. Went for lunch and it was not crowded. My friend and I split a fried rice dish (portion was plenty large enough) and we both agreed we needed to add soy sauce to it to give it any flavor (surprisingly it was not on the table so we had to ask and wait for it). The service was okay but I would not make a special trip to eat here.

My wife and I dined here for dinner. We shared everything. We had the Egg foo young (not on the menu and huge), Mu shoo pork (not on the menu and very tasty) and the Mongolian Beef. The Mongolian Beef was a very nice piece of beef, but the cook should cut it into thinner slices, so it is more tender. It is a shame to mess up a piece of beef making it tough to eat. Very good service on this visit. I added many photos and will return again soon.

My first experience at Ping, Pang, Pong left me wondering why is this place located in the Gold Coast and not on the Strip. I am glad it is at the Gold Coast. Fantastic ambiance, great service and excellent dishes, all at a good price. Ask the server for suggestions if you don't understand what everything is. Large servings so be careful when ordering if you are staying at a hotel and won't be able to take anything home with you. Ping, Pang, Pong will be on my list of places to go to every time I return to Vegas.

Because of the line to be seated I took my food to go. There's a separate line for ordering to go and pick up that works well. As another reviewer mentioned, their kung pao chicken has no heat to it. I suppose if you ate one of the red peppers it would be hot, but the chicken was not at all spicy. Other than that, the chicken was tender and nicely cooked, just not as flavorful as I like it. Next time I have this dish I will ask them to make it spicy and see how it turns out. It does seem odd that there is no rice served with it. You have to order it on the side.

Best Chinese food I’ve ever had in my life! The barbecue pork was delicious. The service was very friendly and accommodating. We will be back!

Excellent dim sum, good service, friendly staff, good prices. Be sure to come early to get a table, they do have things not on the cart if you ask (for example sweet tofu soup).

Very nicely appointed restaurant within the Gold Coast Hotel and Casino. Very busy at the lunch hour but the wait for a table of two only took moments. Within a few minutes, glasses of ice water and hot tea were delivered and the first of many carts wandered by. Every little bite we chose was fresh and incredibly flavorful. The calamari was a toss up. I loved it, my wife, not as much. The actual batter being the difference. Well worth a visit. You won't be disappointed.

There is always a line. So when Chinese people wait, you know it’s good. We love the usual suspects here: har gow, Chinese broccoli, custard tarts, chicken feet. But the novel items are quite good. The sesame balls sell out, so grab them while you can. In addition, the tea is really wonderful. I always get chrysanthemum tea because it’s not from a bag. It’s fresh and lovely.

This place isn't a Panda Express. Food was equivalent to some of higher rated places here in the SF Bay Area. Thinking that by being in a Casino, that it would be a fast food Chinese place. Boy was I wrong. They easily accomodated our group of thirteen. We had at least ten plates of food and everything was very tasty. If you get a chance to eat there, I would recommend going with a group.

If you like Dim Sum, this is the place to come. It gets pretty crowed in the morning so come early or else you will have to wait in line.

Who would ever think that you would find an amazing Chinese restaurant in a casino? My friend and I visited the Gold Coast Casino in my previous trip and we went to have dinner at a Chinese Restaurant located inside the casino called Ping Pang Pong. We ordered the chicken with chestnut and a spinach in soup dish. We didn’t order any rice and with just the two dishes, we couldn’t believe how generous the portions were and how tasty they were. In Chinese you’d say they had “the wok” flavour which says a lot for their chefs! We arrived when the restaurant opened so we were able to secure a table immediately. However, it has been noted that it’s always best to make a reservation to avoid long line ups.

Ping Pang Pong is located at Gold Coast hotel, parking is free. The restaurant is a tad dark, the receptionist a bit racial to other guests coming, ie.; if you are Chinese you get inner table right away, an asian with another non asian would be placed on the front or sides away from centre of restaurant.. The dims came is rolling heated carts like in old Hong Kong, though some of the dishes we chose were not even warm the dims is much saltier and there is an aftertaste after eating them; tried to ask the wait staff what kind it was, no clear and vivid answer; is it cantonese ? mandarin? Szechuan ?I have been to Hong Kong numerous times, etc Dims menu also showed pics and had: stir fried sticky rice, definitely not fresh and dry, not hot shrimp rice roll noodle; mandarin brown sugar cake; red bean sesame ball(hardly any red bean paste) to fu fa( agin not hot and strong ginger syrup); siu mai and har gaw(skin too think); salt and pepper shrimp, no taste; overall it is sad that this is too salty, food not warm, and very poor in taste; the waitress all have earplugs if you want something from the menu, but everything on the roving carts are a no-no for me; we just should have ordered lunch menu which was freshly made, like we saw on the other tables; not something to go back too, like our guest said,,,,what for ??

We had read the reviews of this restaurant and hoped that the food would be as good as it was supposed to be. We were not disappointed and everything was unbelievably good and fresh and served by the sweetest waitress who took care of us. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone even if it means taking a short uber or left away from the strip. located in the gold coast hotel, across from the palms and down the street from rio.

What a blast! We ordered too much food for our bellies- incredible amount of food for the price. Only a 6$ cab from the bellagio. Will definitely be back! Saw this on #livinginlasvegas VLog on YouTube- so much fun! Already know what I’m ordering on the next trip!

We had the best dim sum (tea lunch) restaurant outside of the San Francisco Bay Area and boy everything looked delactable. Everything we ordered from the mobile carts were to die for, as everything tasted sooo authentic. Best of all, my wallet didn't take a big hit. There were lots of tables and patrons and waiting was reasonable and worth the wait

I read reviews that service was bad but I couldn’t have ask for greater service. The food is fresh and very good cantonese flavor.

We were here for a mid-afternoon meal, and looked at both the lunch and dinner menus. We ordered 4 different dishes, and all were very good. Service was friendly and efficient.

If I could rate this 0 out of 5, I would. This more more a warning than a review. We especially chose this place for a special anniversary meal. We went for dim sum lunch after reading it was rated the best Asian restaurant in Las Vegas 6 times in a row. Well, we waited 30 minutes in a long line, finally got seated and never got served. Three times people came to our table, smiled as I pointed our orders, said “a few minutes” and disappeared. Carts whirled past us. Tables of Asians surrounding us were getting plate loads of food. Half an hour in, we got our drinks. An hour later, we left. They charged us for our drinks after hearing our tale! I felt discriminated. We wrote a letter to management. No reply. This is not the best Asian restaurant in Las Vegas.

My wife and I were in Las Vegas recently and by chance we stumbled across this eatery in the Gold Coast Hotel and Casino. Dim Sum was being served, and we were thrilled to find the most authentic presentation of that style of Chinese service and cuisine this side of Hong Kong. While we were unable to return for dinner, we did check out the menu. It is extensive and offers may true Chinese delicacies. We are certain all the food is incomparable, so having dinner there on our next trip to Las Vegas is a priority for us. If you are a fan of "real" Chinese food, DO NOT miss Ping, Pang, Pong!!

Excellent Potstickers, 6large and Sweet sour chicken. Great service. No combination meals. Portions are large! Easily two person size. Seafood noodle dish was meh. Chewy, no flaver to seafood, noodles we're ok nothing special.

Very nice food with a good variety. The portion sizes were large and the service good. If you want to go somewhere a bit off the strip for more authentic Chinese food this would be a good choice.

As ya know, Chinese food, unlike almost any other ethnic cuisine, can vary from excellent to down right inedible. So when venturing out to try somewhere new, you’ve gotta do your homework first. Of all the variety of restaurants in Vegas, there are probably more Chinese or Asian places than any other nationality: And yes, they vary in quality as well. Ping Pang Pong is located adjacent to the casino floor, in the Gold Coast Casino on W Flamingo Rd, about a mile west of the strip. The decor is modern, but nothing fancy. Of course the menu is written in Chinese(which variation, I have no clue): But there are pics and subtitles in English, for the regular folks such as myself. The restaurant is clean, and has a nice vibe for a casual joint. Oh, And they are open early, and close really late: So, if you’re at a show, or at a hot table gambling, no worries, they’ll be open. Food wise, they have it all, including a sort trolley service for breakfast: But I’m not not sure I’d know what to try in that respect; but it sure looked good, and was hugely popular. Personally, I’m always stirring toward the spicy side of the menu, and especially my all time favorite Chinese dish, Kung Pao. Went with the chicken as my protein, with no real regrets. They use all white meat in this dish, which is always a good sign. I asked to have it made extra spicy, with extra peanuts; And they delivered just that. The dish was cooked perfectly, and the flavors were bold, as expected. Honestly, I would’ve preferred the chicken pieces to be a bit smaller, as they are served rather large. This is a sezchuan dish in originality; but I’ve sampled about a million different so-called authentic varieties of this famed dish. A Chinese man once told me, Real King Pao is nothing like we are use to here in the states, and that we are served is more of a western adapted recipe. Not sure, but I prefer it simple; with protein, celery, dark peppers, onions, peanuts, and a light coating of sauce. The version served here says it’s made the authentic way, and it was pretty close to what I described above. The sauce here is a bit heavier than I like, but still tasty; and the spice from the peppers is definitely abundant. This was Not the best Kung Pao chicken I’ve ever had; it’s not even the best I’ve had in Vegas. But it was a nicely made dish, and in a good sized portion. As with any restaurant in and around Vegas these days, white rice is extra, and served a la carte. No big deal, as I think it was only one dollar… All n all, the food gets a 4 this visit. Service is good here, but obviously not easy to explain one’s needs, especially for someone who only speaks English. But I have no complaints: everything was brought out in a timely manor, and the beer was served ice cold. Service gets a 4 as well. The bottom line… Ping Pang Pong is one of those places that one can tell, serves tasty Chinese food; as it was packed full of Asian folks enjoying the more authentic offerings. Many were locals as well, from what I understand; and that’s always a good sign. I’d definitely eat here again, and suggest to any, that if you’re looking for some tasty authentic Chinese, for being located in a casino, PPP is a solid option. The prices are reasonable, especially compared to anything on the strip, and the portions are adequate. So, I say, give it a try…..

We love dim sum and have tried it in many of the large cities that offer it, including Honolulu, Seattle and Los Angeles. This little restaurant (although now moved and remodeled isn't the total hole in the wall it use to be) in an off the strip casino is the best hands down. The prices are great, the selection outstanding, wonderful service and incredible food. We were only in Vegas for three days and ate there two days in a row. We try to make it to this hidden gem every time we are in town.

We have been to this resturaunt several times. Each time the food is superb.During lunch, the Dim Sum carts come by with tons of great dishes. The regular menu is excellent as well. Service at times can be slow, but they are busy. If you want great Chinese food this is definitely a place to go when in Las Vegas.

We went to this placed based on a friend's recommendation and we were not disappointed. We ordered a bunch of dishes to share between the four of us and the total came to around $128 which is a great deal. My fave of the dishes were the Chinese sausage bao buns.

Wanted some good Chinese food, found this place online. We visited based on all of the good reviews they have received. This restaurant is in a totally random older casino. Plenty of free parking. Kinda sad scene when you enter, you need to walk through the slot machine area to enter the restaurant. If smoking is a problem, you are best to avoid. The food was good and arrived quickly. We had a great meal, attentive service and would consider returning.

Waited in line forget in to the restaurant from7:45 to 8:35 to get in a family of 5, we got seated and waited 20 more for drinks order, ordered food 5 plates l plate showed up 30 min later, 2 more plates 15 minutes after. The last too never showed up untill I asked for our cheek hour and have after our order time worst service and wait, in not in casino

We had a decent size party of 7 and we had a late dinner so no wait and we were the only ones in their side room. We went for Dim Sum but everyone wanted to choose a dish, the double braised sea bass was the overall favorite although everyone enjoyed the dim sum.

this Chinese restaurant is in gold coast casino. It has a very strange name but we have been there multiple times over the last few years. The most recent one was just 2 days ago. They continue to have excellent Chinese food and they are open until 3 AM. This is an excellent place for Chinese food especially if you're coming late in the evening.

Brilliant cuisine! We will definitely return. From the moment you enter, you can smell the incredible array of items being served. So many delicious dishes are on display as servers bring them up to your table. It is very reasonable priced too.

One of the best place in Vegas to eat Chinese food. Not to much expensive and really various menu. Open late night, inside at Gold Coast casino (5 minutes by car from the strip)

No real complaint here. PPP serves a decent variety of dim sum dishes, most of them the standard faire you'd find at most dim sum eateries. I think their prices are a bit higher than average, but then again their service is a bit better and quicker as well. All in all, a decent place.

Service adequate, the cart lady sold 4 dim some ,all cold and shape less dry.dry .I asked to order a house specialty ,pork belly ,black mushroom, 10 minutes later i was inform the kitchen did not cook that .they sell ordinary Chinese fare you find at any oriental franchise in the mall. Shame on you,West lake soup, ? salt & pepper pork chop ? ,

This trip I went to two other places that serve Dim Sum but I always have to come back here. Its fast and great food, it's good if you know what you want and can pronounce it though because not all the servers understand English.

The decor at Ping Pang Pong is lovely, far better than the decor at any other eatery in the Gold Coast Casino. The dinner menu is extensive, and it offers both Chinese dishes that are familiar to non-Asian Americans and to Asian Americans. Portions of most dishes (soups and main dishes) are large, so plan either to share or to take left-overs with you for the next day. I had the pork and spicy bean curd, which was excellent. My husband and his friend both enjoyed their entrees too. The only dish that disappointed me was my appetizer of pork dumplings. Our orders came out of the kitchen quickly, though getting change from our waiter at the meal's end took quite a long time.

Best authentic Chinese food you can find in Las Vegas! Don’t expect fancy dining, but do expect a real Chinese experience. Been to China nany times and this is great food!

Nicely decorated, staff could have been more attentive. Authentic Chinese food, it will help if you are familiar with the dishes because the menu does not include descriptions of the plates meant to be shared. We had a variety of dishes at our table, chicken, beef, pork and shrimp. The portions are plentiful, the food was tasty and well-cooked.

The restaurant is located inside Gold Coast Hotel and Casino , before they remodeled in 2018 , all the Dim Sum is so fresh and good quality , it is the local favour place, their signature Pork Shiu Mai is so big like a ping Pang Pong ,wow , now just look like a MARBLE ! ,with my well over +45 years in the restaurant business and hospitality field, (I have 7 restaurants around the world ) , I honestly can tell the good ,the bad restaurants quality ! a lot of restaurants when they first open ,it all ways great ,and after few months ,they start cutting conners , looks like they may have a new owner or new management ,it is my personal reviews good or bad ,to the members , with truth value ,every body do have a different point of views ! this restaurant is over rated ,over price , lot of local stay away , the business is almost from the tourist , the Spareribs looks so sad , tasteless (FROZEN ) no presentation ! the ladies who push the Dim Sum car ,they all so combative ,never take No for answer ! I have to tell them very nice way to get lost ! ,a lot of items is Frozen ,too much M.S.G .,,over all ,very poor in quality and quantity ! do not set your expectations too high ! there is so many good Dim Sum restaurants around the area !

Great dimsum... speaks Cantonese... good number of selections given that we went early and it wasn’t packed. Ping Pang Pong is smack in the middle of the Palms hotel casino... a lot of Asians seem to like this hotel. The dimsum fare was good for a Hong Konger like myself.

We were a party of six and we came into town to visit our friend who moved out here. There were two in our party that had never tried dim sum before. We searched for dim sum restaurants in Las Vegas lookong fir good dim sum and Ping Pang Pong came highly recommended Omg! This place does not disappoint.we got there before 10 and waited awhile for the restaurant to open. We were seated right away and the line behind us to get into this place grew. We ordered the sui mai, har gaw, beef chow fun which had good wok hai, minced pork porridge, fish porridge, half a roast duck, mango pudding which was totally delicious with bits of mango in it, Portuguese egg tart-totally an OMG -in my opinion better than Lord Stow in Macau melt in your mouth delicious, sesame balls, baked Cha sui bow, and a hot pot of rice, veget, black bean sauce ribs. This was the best and freshest dim sum we have had. Our two friends who never had this was just blown away how tasty and flavorful the food was. Service was excellent and empty plates were removed in a timely fashion. What an impressive first time experience eating here. Recommend this place highly. The place is clean, the decor is rich with woodwork and paintings and the servers take pride in their work. You can taste it in their food that it is made with heart.

Read great reviews of PPP so we thought we try it. We are from Vancouver, BC where dim sum restaurants are abundant but we loved PPP,s food quality, prices, and how they still use the dim sum push carts. The food is extremely delicious and very authentic like the Hong Mong dim sum and not like mainland China type dim sum. We loved their beef rice rolls, chicken feet, shrimp dumplings, and their sweet egg to.k buns along with their delicious egg tarts. The 3 of is ate to our hearts content for lunch and tips included we paid $82USD. Their service was excellent and everyone was friendly. We are returning again today for dim sum.

My friend and I are not of Asian heritage, and we were in the minority among the patrons, so we thought that was a good sign. We were right. Everything we ordered was delicious, especially the pepper beef medallions, chicken fried rice, and hot and sour soup. cant wait to go back and try more of the menu.

Located in the Gold Coast Hotel & Casino. My wife and I dined here for dinner and shared everything. We had the Egg Fu Young (not on the menu), Mu Shuu Pork (not on the menu) and a beef dish. We also had a side of white rice and tea. The food and service were excellent. I added many photos and will return again very soon.

I must the egg drop soup, The service is really good here the food is really good here great place to go to . The restaurants in the Gold Coast casino I hidden gem

Food/service was great for a first timer! This is my first review ever and I had to compliment this establishment.

My wife and I dined here for dinner. We had no reservations and were seated immediately. We shared everything including white rice and hot tea. We started with the Wor Won Ton Soup. Yummy. Mu Shuu Pork (not on menu). Very good. Beef dish. The beef was tough. Cut it thinner. The staff were very friendly and the service was great.

Visited a few times the last two months, each time it was good service, fast and friendly, very large selection of dim sum dishes delivered in hot cart to your table, but can order from server also. Both hot steamed food cart, and hot soup congee cart, and the popular baked items like cha sui bao buns and pastry and Hom suey Gok. Too many to name, all tasted fresh and original, similar quality I find in San Francisco cafes and in Hong Kong resto. I was seated promptly each time, but with less seating due to Covid, you might have a small wait. Go early, be patient. I observed that many patrons appear to be some local and visiting Regular clients, so the popularity and loyalty is evident. They know quality. Clean and bright dining room. Open kitchen you can easily view their entire operation, nothing to hide, mostly modern stainless steel fixtures. Opens at 10am, closes late after midnight, located inside the aged tired Gold Coast Casino, be ready to enjoy a nice meal and experience. Reasonably priced, social distance and PPE all in full compliance. Must wear masks. 😷 Friendly servers. Just GO !

My family and I ate at this restaurant on December 26,2022. After we were seated and served our food the waitress never returned to ask is we needed anything. We has to go to the checkout counter and ask for a to go box. For the price the food is “ok” but the service is awful.

What good prices for dim sum. Located at the gold coast casino. The service was good too. Great selection.

In the Gold Coast, really? Yes! The family style-served food here is superb. The soups are in large toureens here, we had the Hot and Sour and I had three bowls. We had the Black Pepper Beef Medallions and the Chicken with Black Bean sauce and both were excellent. The beef could be cut with chopsticks and was beautifully medium-rare, and the chicken had a fantastic flavor. Even the rice is three times as good as any other I've had. The service is great, they are very welcoming and aim to please. This is now going to be an every trip stop.

Went here after playing a couple of frames of bowling, it was past 12 and I am so glad that they are open late to get that midnight hunger taken cared of. First off, I am very confused about what the other people is saying here about service since we have always been attended to normally. 2nd, you come here for the delicious food and not the service. Ordered a couple of things, walnut prawns, some noodles, vegetables, and a couple of dimsum items. Everything came out fast as expected and everything tasted wonderful. As usual, at the end of the meal we are a group of happy stuffed people and will continue coming back here as often as possible. Love the place, Love the food, Love the people! Carry on PPP!

They have a great full menu for dinner including dim sum. They are a little more pricey than a similar place located way off the strip, but we felt the food was so superior that it was more than worth the little extra money. Some of the best Chinese food I have ever had. The portions we very large. This is a good spot to plan on sharing the dishes with everyone. We went early (5 p.m) and had no problem seating a party of 4. When we left at 7 there was a line. The service was a little lacking. Once the food came there was very little "follow up" service to check on how we were doing. No that big of a deal. I marked it off to how very busy they became after we were served. Wish we had this quality of food where I currently live. Can't wait to go there again next time I am in Vegas.

I recommend to anyone I know that is going to Vegas. We love it and go at least once per trip. Usually twice.

I have been coming to Las Vegas for several decades and frequent the Gold Coast casino. I never visited this establishment although it always seems very busy. We finally did and were not disappointed. Prices are the upper end of the middle. Quality is great. Servings are generous. I would highly suggest and recommend this restaurant to all.

Hot and sour soup and chicken fried rice is the best I’ve ever had. We look forward to eating here every visit to Vegas.

In town on business, read reviews and checked it out. Service was very prompt and professional. Attentive re beverage refills. Food was very good (Mongolian beef and pot stickers). Reasonable prices. Would go back for sure.

What happened? This used to be one of the best Chinese Restaurants in Las Vegas. My wife and I showed up for lunch/dim sum. We were seated immediately with no line at 1:30pm Monday. This place used to be packed. No longer. My wife ordered the Turnip Cake, Hot Tea and White Rice. Her entree was the Chicken with Black Bean Sauce. She enjoyed it. I ordered the Walnut Honey Shrimp and a Iced Tea. Over sweet. Refills on my iced tea were hard to come by. Up-charge for white rice, hot tea and finding someone to pay the bill is difficult. Management and Boyd Gaming better start paying attention. The Palms reopens this week with some stiff completion. You also have the Rio and Chinatown next door. Take the chip off your shoulder with the past and improve this restaurant. You also need to improve your website with the correct prices and menu items.

After seeing this restaurant during our previous stay at gold Coast Hotel we wanted to try it the next visit. We really enjoyed it. Food was very good and filling. Reasonably priced. we wiil eat there again on our next trip there.

It’s all about the food which was excellent. Located deep within the Gold Coast casino, this rather small place with an open kitchen serves outstanding Chinese food. We only had to wait a few minutes at mid afternoon while they cleaned a table. Btw this is one of the cleanest places you’ll find anywhere. Potstickers were so good we could have had just more and skipped the dinner. Extensive menu with strange items like jellyfish and frogs, and I was disappointed they were out of duck so I ordered one of my favorite Chinese dishes, walnut prawns. A dozen large (not jumbo) prawns in sauce with walnuts was best I’ve ever had. Partners scallops & prawns in garlic sauce (& veggies) equally good. Portions were large. Staff was super efficient, almost robotic, with no time for chitchat. Not a place to linger but here it’s all about the food

All these years living in Vegas and I finally make it to Ping Pang Pong for some midweek Dim Sum lunch for a lunch meeting... PPP Service & Ambiance: Attractive contemporary Asian decor right out of a fight scene in a John Wick movie (I dig the giant abacus decor) with tall ceilings to make the dining area appear more spacious. There is plenty of room to accommodate 100+ diners. The dim sum service was good, it wasn't hard to locate the cart with the dishes you wanted. Multiple times we notified the nearest cart attendant what we were looking for and that cart would be sent over quickly. Well done. PPP Dim Sum dishes: Everything I sampled was tasty and fresh. They had all the 'mainstream' Dim Sum dishes along with some plates I've never come across before. i.e. The shrimp balls, covered in almonds and to be dipped in the sweet mayo sauce was was fantastic. Additionally, some of the carts had some dinner plates so it was like a pseudo fusion of dim sum and dinner entrees. Ping Pang Pong definitely has a diverse selection of dishes to try. The prices are slightly higher than dim sum restaurants in the Vegas Valley which I expected considering their casino location and the upscale decor. However, it's not unreasonable for the extra variety of dishes to choose from and the great quality. I'l be back to try more dishes when I don't have the time constraints of a business lunch. Enjoy!

The last time I got food here was 2017 and I got it to go . This time I decided to dine in for late lunch . I got a voucher from the Gold Coast and since I have been pretty much stuck in the house like everyone else , I decided to treat myself . They were a little busy , but I was seated right away . They were going around with carts for the Dim Sum , but I was interested in ordering from the lunch menu . I got a sweet tea and it was kind of funky tasting and they gave me a large water which I am glad they did . I got the Chicken Lettuce Wraps and the Kung Pao Chicken . I was told that it didn't come with rice , so I ordered a steamed white rice . I think it is kind of weird that it didn't come with rice . I also asked for the Kung Pao to be more Spicy , especially since the last time I was there it wasn't spicy at all . This time it was on the money and a really big plate . I knew I was gonna have to ask for a to go box . The Kung Pao this time had to be some of the best I have ever had , which is funny because last time I had it that wasn't the case . The Chicken Lettuce Wraps were a big disappointment . They were large and the sauce was good , but the chicken was probably the worst lettuce wrap I have ever had . They have another Asian restaurant there called Noodle Exchange and they have really good Chicken Lettuce Wraps , but they are rude every time I have dined there or got food to go . Overall the place is clean and nicely decorated . It was remodeled a few years ago . The employees were very attentive and nice . You got big portions which I think I brought home more than I ate at the restaurant . So you know what's for lunch tomorrow . I just wish the lettuce wraps were better .

Was at the Gold Coast for a reunion with former co-workers. Walked by the resto and decided to try them! Loved it! Went back 2 more times during our 2-nights stay for their dimsum offerings! Prices were reasonable too!

We were somewhat lucky to be served quickly however when we tried to find a seat (you order at the til first) there were no clean tables and around 10 tables full of food. The woman cleaning up was clearly not bothered and took her time in “cleaning” up. She casually poured all of the liquids from the table into one bowl at a time - not very attractive when you’re about to eat there as it all looked like dish water. She did this with 3 tables without actually cleaning them so I asked her if anyone would be able to clean a table so we could sit down and she very bluntly told us she would do it in a minute. Her version of cleaning a table with all sorts of food and drink on it was flicking a dishcloth over it meaning it was still wet and food everywhere - all over the floor and chairs. The food then arrived and my pho actually looked like dishwater - so grey and dull. It literally had no taste at all and the egg was also very dull and grey. Did not look or taste appetising at all and I ended up leaving the table having eaten a lot. My husband said his lettuce chicken wraps were “ok” however the lettuce was not crisp so he could cup the food, they were wet and floppy.

The dim sum was surprisingly good here at the Gold Coast Casino. The name suggests that it was going to be a dive but it was recommended to me by my Chinese colleague and so put it on my restaurant list when I hit Las Vegas 2 weeks ago. Typical dim sum carts and quick service are the norm and the dim sum itself was very tasty! For the value, quick service and wide assortment of delicious dim sum, this is certainly going to be my go to when I want a delicious, filling and quick Chinese meal when in Vegas.

6 if us had dinner. All food was spectacular. Best Honey Walnut shrimp, shrimp fried rice and Egg drop soup I’ve ever had. The other dishes were fresh as well.

This is the most authentic dim sum in Las Vegas. I usually reserve dim sum for San Francisco or Honolulu. Ping Pang Pong is as good or better than either! Go early to avoid the line.

What a great place! We went to bingo in the Gold Coast so I decided to try the restaurant that I've heard so much about. I'm so glad I did! The potstickers were probably the best I've ever had. The service was a little slow but that's my only complaint. The food was excellent. They give you huge portions so order accordingly. The prices were really reasonable too. I'll definitely be back.

Hungry for Asian food, we decided to try dim sum for lunch after reading the reviews. What fun! We really enjoyed picking things to try from the friendly trolley ladies. Our favorite was the shrimp ball. We are looking forward to next time so we can try more bites. Highly recommend for the tasty food as well as the experience.

1st time eating at this restaurant located in the Gold Coast Casino. Outstanding selection with very tasty dishes. Service was a little slow but it was very busy. Prices are not too expensive. However, the ambience and cleanliness make the cost very reasonable.

We came here as a recommendation - I did not find it good. The menu was very odd for us and had items like fried pigs feet. I ordered spring rolls and they were okay, but my shrimp fried rice was not good at all. It was just plain rice with a little chopped egg and some peas with tiny undercooked shrimp. It had no flavor at all and was very bland. I could get better shrimp fried rice from any walk-in Chinese restaurant by me. All in all we were disappointed.

Great food, fast service, and they increased the size of their establishment. The employees are hard working and you may never have to ask for a refill on your drink. Been their about 5 times, and never noticed a dissatisfied customer.

Came here excited by all of the Reviews and the kudos from Travel and Leisure magazine. We called and they told us they don't take reservations on NY eve -- Chinese New Years Eve-- so we patiently stood in line for 30 minutes-- there were only 2 of us and they chose to seat us at a table for 6 with a direct view of the Kitchen which was fine. Honestly when you get to the end you will see WHY management should ONLY seat those that they can truly serve or have a SIGN that says a minimum $ amount required or something.... After waiting 30 minutes to sit which as I said I agreed to and was made aware of. A server brought us Water and Hot tea-- and we sat with the menu for maybe 10 minutes a reasonable amount of time. When the Server a friendly women came to take our Order she apologized-- BUT she didn't tell us that it would take 2 hours for us to get FOOD== and that nearby tables would flip 2x before we got a chance to eat??? Did we order something exotic - NO-- we literally decided to go basic- Spring Rolls - Brocolli with Ginger and Shrimp Fried Rice-- we got the SPring Rolls about 7.30pm which was an hour after we had been seated-- and then nothing for another hour-- literally we saw food go right by, the same server walked by, nobody came by- we finally were just about to get up and leave when a woman brings the plate of Broccoli-- with no rice-- that's when we had to say something-- I chose to go for my Birthday Week =not that they know that but the Customer Service here was just beyond pale-- was I discriminated against? Was it because I didn't order 200 dollars and alcohol- not sure-- the server stammered something about large tickets and lots of people but honestly to a customer none of that matters-- then it would have been better to turn my business down at the front not let me sit for 2 hours wondering and feeling neglected or worse watch whole tables eat and leave and a second family come and go in the time I was there-- they offered 2 free small desserts at the very end after my dining companion pointed out these other tables that had flipped in the time we had been there. We were n ot sitting in a corner we were literally in the middle of the path between the kitchen and the other tables- food went by us all the time-- The food was average-- and my experience probably tainted the Food experience as well-- even being hungry I was just incredibly let down-- I have worked in customer service for years- so I feel I was patient seeing that it was busy- but how long is reasonable to wait to say something??? Parking is free- the entire Casino is very SMOKE heavy so keep that in mind. Not worth the drive-- Not worth any of it--

I have visited this place many times with friends during Superbowl week each year. This time i took my wife and she enjoyed as much as I usually do. The dishes are very filling so we only had Beef Chow Fun (not on menu) and Yang Chow Fried Rice - both were delicious. Their beef chow fun is the best I have had and easily ties NY's Chinatown. We highly recommend for a delicious, moderately priced lunch while in Las Vegas.

I was given the recommendation to check out this place by my Uber driver and was so happy to have done so. I am a huge dumpling fanatic and thought the quality of the food at Ping Pang Pong was so delicious. I was very impressed at how quickly they turned tables. Even though there had been a decent size line it was not a long wait. I absolutely adored the shrimp noodles and pork bbq bao. Great place!

I have had dim sum during my travels when I was working but wanted my wife to experience that type of food. We decided to go to PPP for lunch on March 2. It was a bit of a walk from the strip but we gutted it out and worked up an appetite as we walked. I can't go through all the different foods we ate but I can describe them as very tasty and different, The service is exceptional to the pint of being over the top. We did choose around eight different items from the servers. We weren't disappointed by any of the items. Price for the lunch was $41. 72 before the gratuity. And we did take a taxi back to the strip!

I was surprised at the elegance and quality of this restaurant. The menu was large and varied. The food was copious and excellent. The service was outstanding.

Love coming here! Food is always good, Mongolian beef, Kung pow chicken and fried rice are our go to dishes, consistently good. Service was good as well.

The food was very excellent. Reason for only 4 stars was the fact that the service only served out 1 of the 3 dishes and appearently the other 2 were not finished yet. Reason could be that is was very crowded, but that's no excuse.

Amazing Chinese food. You feel like you’re in Chinatown, most of the diners were Asian. The dishes are truly authentic Asian dishes, prepared beautifully. There’s nothing fancy here, just reasonable prices is amazing food. Try the chicken fried with stuffed with shrimp, or the barbecued pork, or the amazing sticky rice with scallops and Chinese sausage. OMG. Everything so fantastic. Highly recommended..

My favorite Dim Sum in Las Vegas. I try to stop by at least once on every Vegas trip. I’ve worked quite a bit in Vegas and often stayed at the Palms Place. Lucky for me, Ping Pang Ping, was across the street inside the Gold Coast casino. The line is always a bit long so allow time to sit down but you will not be disappointed. This was my first trip solo and I didn’t sample enough only because I did not want to waste the food!

I have been staying at the Gold Coast for 10 years now and had not eaten here in all That time. I have been hearing how good it is for years and decided to give it a try this trip. We went on a Sunday and I guess they were doing dim sum. My biggest problem was we didn’t know what we were doing. We tried repeatedly to ask servers what we should do. We would tell them it was our first time and we didn’t know how it works. They would all just smile and put plates on our table. After that happened for a while I kept seeing them write on the pad I told my wife we should stop. We finally asked some nearby patrons what to do and they helped a little. I finally got to order a main dish which is all I wanted to do. It was sweet and sour pork and was outstanding. Trouble was it was too much food with the other items. Then my fears were realized. We got the bill which was just south of $100 for two people, for lunch. I do not want anyone to think it was bad, the food was really good. We just had a bad experience because we didn’t know what to do. If I could have gotten a little bit of guidance, maybe a menu explaining things. I also would like to have had ONE person as a wait staff. I went forever just trying to get a refill on iced tea. My basic conclusions are the food is good, the service not so good. Truthfully the food is not that much better than my local Place with the hibachi grill. In the future if I eat anything there, it will be take out on the sweet and sour pork.

I would like to find a nice dim sum restaurant in Las Vegas, googled it, and went to try Ping Pang Pong. There was a long waiting line, but I think waiting means a sign of popular restaurant. But It turns out that it is not worth waiting. I want to try different dim sum dishes, but basically, it is same kind of dim sum coming, and no enough explanation. Dim sum itself is bland, nothing special. I do not recommend this restaurant.

Service is good. Ordered 2 soups. Wonton with vermicelli noodles and seafood tofu soup. Latter had more flavor with small shrmps snd scallops. Wonton is sweet shrimp so sort of made up for the flavor. Wonder if msg on the tofu soup? Couldn't stop. Jin dui, fried mochi with sweet beans is served warm and is a great ending for our late night dinner.

There was 10 of us and we were seated after about a 10 minute wait. The food was good but I'd wish they told us about the portion sizes. One meal and one rice would easily feed 2 people. So there was a lot of leftovers. You can take the leftovers but not much use if you can't reheat them. We gave 4 boxes of leftovers to our taxi driver on the trip back to the hotel. Also they don't serve spirits. The taxes and 20% tip are added on to the bill. Servers were friendly.

Very good reviews from employees at the Encore and the fact that we met friends for dinner , led us to this restaurant inside of the Gold Coast Casino The service was a tad bit slow, however the food was good No brown rice , which took it down a notch for my wife and I

We went to this restaurant on the recommendation of a local waiter from another restaurant. It is off the strip, so was frequented mostly by locals and predominantly asian. However, unlike some previous reviews, we found the wait staff warm and welcoming. The service was efficient and the wait staff very helpful with questions and recommendations. It is not fine dining, just good Chinese fare. We started with the pot stickers. If you are used to pot stickers made with won ton rappers, then these will be a bit of a surprise. They are more doughy, however the filling amount is larger so would recommend splitting the order. The Mongolian Beef was excellent. Sliced very thin with a rich sauce. The fried rice (with pork) also excellent. My husband ordered a shrimp dish (sorry, I can't remember which) but the shrimp seemed a bit undercooked and not our favorite. We will definitely return again when in town and craving Chinese food. Only thing I missed was being able to order a cocktail before dinner. Beer and wine and a limited selection of those are offered.

Today I brought my husband to try Dim Sum at this restaurant. He has never tried or desired to try Dim Sum before. So when he agrees today I was excited and ordered from the carts all the things I thought he would like. The BBQ and filled dumplings were excellent. He also tried hot Jasmine Tea for the first time and found this to be really good as well. By the end of the dinner he said it was good and that we could come back again. I tell you this more or less because given that he was always unsure to try things he had a good and tasty experience. So if you are on the fence about trying something new, step out and give this place a try. I don't think you will be disappointed. Just ask for the shrimp, pork and BBQ filled dumplings and you cant go wrong.

We had been to this restaurant before when it was in a smaller location in the Gold Coast Casino and it was excellent. However, we were very disappointed with the very poor service. We queued for almost an hour to get in and eventually allocated a large six seater table for two of us. We waited several minutes before a waiter! Waitress arrived and we ordered our food. My wife’s dinner arrived and all I received was a bowl of cold rice. I complained and asked where my dinner was and that the rice was cold. I was given another bowl of Luke warm rice and my wife had finished her dinner before my dinner arrived. The food was very bland and unappetising. Completely dissatisfied with the whole evening. Complained about the very poor service but no response from our servers. It was almost as if they didn’t care. Very very disappointing experience and we won’t be going again during our 10 night stay in the Gold Coast

I’m so lucky to have a friend that does all the research before each trip to Vegas. This place made the list, and we showed up early to avoid the queues. We got a nice big table to ourselves, and a great view of how hard the team in the kitchen were working from the moment the doors opened. Starting with the 6 huge pork potstickers and finishing with the wonderfully fresh custard tarts, the entire experience was top quality - at a bargain price. For all visitors who don’t leave the Strip, you don’t know what you’re missing! For main courses, having seen the size of the dishes making their way to other tables, we reduced our planned order and had Honey Glazed BBQ Pork, Chicken Fried Rice and Chicken in Black Bean Sauce. It was still enough to feed three (if not four), and we did our best to leave nothing on the plates. We failed. Everything was cooked fresh to order, and was absolutely superb. The servers were fast, friendly and efficient. We WILL be back!

We got lucky when bartender stephanie at the Nomad Library recommended this place to us. Wow it really lived up to our expectations. The food was so good, service was quick and price was beyond fair for massive portions. Highly reccomend the orange chicken, chicken fried rice, Beijing beef and jellyfish. Talk about an amazing late night eats spot.

We had a couple of problems and Shen took care of them like a professional even though he told us he only been working there four days food different from past visits

The 2nd Worse Chinese food I've ever had. Completely overrated. Absolute Garbage. Please, don't waste your time or money at this place. Food was brought out at over 5 minutes a piece. Last dinner didn't get served for 20 minutes after the other 3 guests finally had there's. Also, the Wok wasn't hot enough. Temp too low for cooking. Lousy job, taking dirty plates off table. Food was just not good. No real description of entrees. Server can't explain. Again, Ping Pang Pong. Sucks.

I was looking for good Chinese food and I found it - Thanks Uber Driver for the tip. I had called uber with a china Korea Town destination. Uber driver being a china man was adamant about the Ping Pang and declared to be the place he takes his family to eat. he was right. I had dinner there 3 nights out of 4.

Really enjoyed their cooking here. Their house soup of the day which was beef bone was so flavorful. The best dish we ordered was their house seafood mix with Chinese broccoli. The ingredients were fresh, and cooked to perfection with veggies crunchy. We also ordered a couple of dim sum and to our surprised, it was also fresh considering, we came here closer to midnight. Service was excellent, and we really enjoyed the local feel, beautiful ambiance, right inside Gold Coast Casino which has been around for ages. I highly recommend. Cheers!

Even if you are not stay at the Gold Coast hotel make sure you drop on over and visit Ping Pang Pong. Delicious food and good service. Worth every single penny.

I’m really not sure where they got their high ratings from. I’m totally not impressed. A local salesman at one of the resorts recommended this place saying this is the top rated Chinese restaurant in Las Vegas. I figure it can hurt to try. In an attempt to avoid the crowd, I got there just a few minutes after 5 in a Thursday. It turned out half of the place was empty, but instead of seating right away the hostess asked me to wait saying that she needs to check if there is any table open. Come on, half if the place is open! I ordered half of a roast duck and ox tails in a clay pot. The duck was not bad but the ox tails was not tender at all. The Thai iced tea came in a clear plastic bottle printer with the name of another noodle place in the casino. It’s like ordering a Big Mac from McDonald’s but the sandwich is wrapped Burger King’s wrapping paper. Additionally, there is a sense of cheapness to the place: you shouldn’t even use paper napkins in a fancy place like this. After the dishes are served, no one bothered to ask me how things were. Even the check I need to ask. I don’t think this place is worthy of top rated. Just go to Chinatown and walk in any upscale restaurant, I guarantee you will get better service, better food and better price.

Service is still good, but food quality has dropped a little. We had a dim sum lunch today and it was a bit of hit or miss. The carts rolled around with the various dishes. I am a seafood lover, but there was a lack of shrimp dishes. Either we missed the carts or there just weren’t many shrimp choices. The temperature of the food was also a hit or miss. Some a little cool and others at the correct temp. We will be going back in a while and hope that this was just an off day at lunch time.

A nice Chinese restaurant inside of the casino, the menu is abundant that there are many kinds of different dim sums, and the Feng Zhua is very juicy and soft.

You make a reservation and have to wait in line anyway. Other people bud in line and get seated b4 you. Almost NO gluten free options. They don't even have any chicken that's not breaded. Server was very hard to understand. Only thing I could order for lunch was rice. They come around with trays of food and no condiments to go with any of it, so you get dry pot stickers. Asked 2 people for soy sauce and never got any. Horrible service. Don't waste your time and money!

This was the most confusing restaurant I have ever dined at. It was loud, and there are all these ladies with food carts trying to peddle their food. Most patrons were Chinese, and the food cart ladies spoke in Mandarin. I had no idea what the food was, or how much it cost. Finally, I just asked if I could please order off the menu. I've been to Beijing three times, and I've never had this much trouble ordering lunch. (The food was delicious however.)

When we entered we had nothing explained to us indeed it transpired that few of the staff seemed to speak fluent English ... and so despite the fact that waitresses with trolleys kept offering us food from the trolley we had no idea what was going on. Finally we asked another customer who explained that the trolley service was an integral part of the buffet option. As it was we just wanted to order a dish each and share between the 4 of us. This we did. The portions are huge and the quality 'good'. We took the considerable amount left home for tea. This is a smart and seemingly popular venue in GC casino. Handy for something different if you don't want to travel too far. Clean and tidy throughout - I'd be happy to return not least now knowing something of the prevailing rules !!

The food is good Chinese. They serve quick but a little hectic but we all enjoyed. Not expensive. A real good place for big Chinese family dinner style gathering.

Exceptionally good Chinese food! Second time eating here, will come back given the chance. Authentic Chinese food, good, friendly service.

DISAPPOINTING. 15-minutes before a single cart passed by our table. 25-minutes before Pork/Shrimp Shumai made it to our table. The most annoying part was watching tables that were sat AFTER you have carts go up to them before your table. Also, note, you have to be the obnoxious table that flags them down in order to get served. So, if you are sitting next to that obnoxious table, you will get passed up every time. When we finally got a hold of our waiter he even used his headset to tell dim sum to come over and didn’t really amount to anything. TIP: If they seat you in the middle table behind the large abacus (behind their glasses and cup station) ask for a different table, apparently the carts avoid this table like the plague (see photo) I frequently am visiting Vegas and have so many friends/family there. My last trip, I elected against Ping Pang Pong because the reviews were not that great. However, when my cousin’s co-workers highly recommended it and called it the BEST - she was the second person that had heard it was THE BEST, so we went. I KNEW the reviews wouldn’t steer me wrong. If you’re looking for “the best” dim sum, you can quite frankly pick any place in Vegas and it’ll be better. I do have to say the Seafood Shumai was very good. But the Pork/Shrimp Shumai, Har Gow, Sesame Balls, Hot & Sour Soup were not anything any other dim sum place can compete with. For reference, I grew up on Chicago Chinatown Dim Sum SHOUTOUT TO THE BUSSERS: That were pretty much busting their butts the entire service. RESERVATIONS: Their website says they highly recommend reservations but when you call they say they don’t take reservations lol

I truly enjoy Dim Sum style my preferences everything with shrimp on it, love the social distance between tables super spacious.

First, the food here is good. I would give it somewhere between a 4 and 4.5. The problem is two-fold. First, it is located right in the middle of the casino and no door/walls closing it off. So it smells like cigarette smoke (there were only a couple of people in the casino when we went - I don't think any of them were smoking at the time - and it still wreaked). Second was service. They wouldn't accommodate to move us back in the restaurant to try and get away from the cigarette smell; further, they didn't check on the table very often, and we had to keep flagging them down

Only bad thing (and I feel bad for saying this) I can say is, it is very hard to understand the servers pushing the cart telling you what they have on their carts. I just said yes to pretty much everything and I'm glad I did. Really good dim sum. Fun place to eat while in Vegas

We were looking for some good Chinese food and decided on Pin Pang Pong ad we’ve seen the ad for years. I assume it must be excellent as it’s been there for MANY years. We were perhaps the only non-Chinese customers. The food is not what you might expect - every part of the animal appears to be served. If you are used to Americanized Chinese food, this place isn’t for you - or at least wasn’t for us. I had a BBQ combo and one of them -orange chicken - was served cold on the plate with hot honey BbQ pork with no sauce or even a vegetable garnish. Everyone else seemed to be enjoying it. If you are into experiential eating, this is the place for you.

Great atmosphere. Love the Dim Sum carts, so much to choose from and great entrees. Best Kung Pow Chicken I've ever had. We love it so much we're there almost weekly. Very friendly and helpful.

We recently had dinner for our third time at this restaurant. It was disappointing. The spring rolls were very bland, and the two entrées we ordered were not at all memorable. What Chinese restaurant charges you a dollar for rice to accompany your entrée? I guess they need to fund the renovations somehow. Not classy; too bad for them. We probably won’t go back.

ALL WAS AMAZING!! Food, staff, menu.... my FAV thing to do is hit up ChinaTown in Houston and Chicago and THIS is good food! Warm beautiful environment, plenty of staff, cold beer, and did I mention the MENU??? I had anchovie chicken fried rice, chinese broccoli (garlic & ginger) with side of oyster sauce, crispy sea bass, soft shell crap spring rolls .... I have a master wish list for when I go back. GET HERE. I went three times in three days.

First visit to ping pang Pong! Definitely not the last! We visited about Midnight and restaurant was still Busy. Open I think til 3am! Sorted quickly. Staff friendly We had pork pot stickers to start delicious! We the. Had orange beef, crispy roast chicken. And chicken fried rice all amazing although too much!! Big portions would have done 4 people!! Worth venturing off strip!

Everything was amazing. We had the house crispy noodles - outstanding! Night market fried rice was excellent. All dishes lots of flavour, hot and fresh prepared.

I ate dim sum at this restaurant every time I visited Vegas. It's always been authentic! This time my mom and I had a very simple dinner here. So we didn't have a lot of comments about the food this time, but the restaurant was apparently expanded with a nicer environment. Guess I'll have dim sum during my next visit. :-)

After many trips to Vegas, we decided to try this restaurant. It has won many consumer awards, and we found for good reason. Back home, people think that stir fry with soy sauce is “chinese”. But it is not. We have only previously found true Chinese food in Chinatown of San Francisco. We had noted many actual orientals in this very busy restaurant so decided to try. Our first visit was in January. The Julienne Pork Tenderloin $15.95 and Mushrooms Snow Cabbage $16.95 were both delicious. We again in February and had the Julienne Pork again, as well as Stuffed Trio $18.95. Very tasty. For each meal we had a side of Jasmine rice $1, Tsing Tao beer $7 domestic beer $6. Service is a team effort _ one pours water, one takes drink order, one takes food order, one runs food from kitchen, one busses and resets table. Actual, genuine, Chinese food.

Amazing experience. I was confused at first but my wife and server helped out. The dim sum carts are great, all kinds of foods to choose from as well as entrees. This is our new favorite Asian restaurant

Food is fresh and served family style. One dish can serve 4 people so for 4 people I would order no more than 3 entrees. You would think your in China. Make a reservation. I had the orange beef and special fried rice and 2 of us could not come close to eating it all. Tea was hot and good also.

Located in the Gold Coast Hotel & Casino off the Las Vegas Strip. My wife and I dined here for dinner. We shared everything, including the Wor Wanton Soup (very good), Mu Shu Pork (not on the menu, but yummy) and Chicken Egg Foo Young (not on menu, good, over cooked chicken). I added many photos of our visit. Very good service.

Really enjoyed Dim Sum at PPP. I tried everything that my friends ordered, including chicken feet.. Everything from taste, variety, serving and atmosphere was excellent. This large restaurant was extremely busy at 1pm. Long line outside.

Located at the Gold Coast, authentic cuisine, prices reasonable , high portions, the pork belly is very delicious.

Every trip to LV, I try to be at the Gold Coast at lunch time so I can have the Dim Sum lunch at Ping Pang Pong. The ladies pushing the carts around don't seem to know any English; they just show the food selections, and I pick a few, not having any idea what I'm eating. It's always excellent, though!

Open up to 3 am! Worth taking a cab if u are starving and heading there for Chinese food. The food is ok, edible I will give it 2 stars.

The dim sum was pretty good, the prices were reasonable for Vegas. Good variety of the dishes, they had all my favorites. Would definitely recommend if you like actual Chinese food, not the Americanized kind.

Hidden in the Gold Coast Casino is this dim sum place that none of my friends and I have heard of until it was recommended to us by another frequent Vegas visiting friend. When we arrived at about 11:30 a.m. on a Monday, there was a line waiting for tables. Luckily, the wait was not long and I noticed that 90% of the diners were Asian so I guess it's not a hidden gem with the locals. The place is clean and bright and the dim sum we tried is very good. The 3 testers (har gow steam bbq pork bun and bbq pork wrapped in rice noodles in soy sauce) that I normally order when trying a new dim sum house all passed the taste test. The other dim sum dishes we tried were also very good. This indeed is a good hidden gem discovery for us and we will definitely return to dine here again.

We come by twice or more a month... Really love the Dim Sum and Orange Beef. Eating at Ping Pang Pong feels an awful lot like eating in a restaurant in Beijing or Hong Kong. YUMMY!

If you want a decent and tasty Chinese restaurant for a Sunday dinner, look no further! Ping Pang Pong has a variety of dishes for every taste. Dim Sum here is excellent. Prepare to wait for a table. They get crowded.

This is the place to visit for some serious Chinese food. It’s not really that far from other destinations and you won’t be disappointed. The portions are huge and I highly recommend eating family style. The service was fast and accommodating. I ordered less traditional and was glad I did. The food tasted authentic - not overly Americanized. I glanced at other tables and didn’t see many repeat plates. I wanted to return the next day for lunch or dinner and try something else. But alas I couldn’t make it. This place will be on my list every time I visit Vegas.

Enjoyed a dinner here. It is located in the Gold Coast hotel. Portions are large so we split a meal. Rice is separate. Potstickers were very good. Nice atmosphere. Service excellent.

This is always a meeting place after our 3 squares volunteering with our team. Love coming here with family as well. Food is always great and you can order dim sum at dinner through the menu. The recent renovations updated the decor and its bright and airy. Waiting time on peak dining hours shorter too. The seafood clay pot and walnut shrimps are excellent and on point...

This is my go-to place for Chinese food in Las Vegas. However, we made the mistake of going on Christmas Eve around 6 PM, so there was a long line of patrons waiting for tables (I waited nearly one hour to get in). Once inside, the service was prompt and the food was excellent. I had the Manila Clams in Black Bean Sauce and my wife had the Garlic Butter Scallops and Shrimp (with al dente asparagus). I highly recommend these two items. Next trip we will go early in the day for the Dim Sum menu.

I have been here so many times that I have had almost all of the dishes that Ping Pang Pong served and I have not found any that I did NOT like, it is all good. I took some local friends here who took me to dinner at a so called local best Chinese food restaurant in Chinatown, but after they ate at PPP they agreed with me and said that PPP is the best Chinese food bar none in Las Vegas!

Waited for 1 hour to get seated. They said it was because we had 5 people. Took 16 people behind us. Groups of 4, 7 and 2. Food was cold and terrible. We think because we were not oriental they didn’t treat us right. Don’t waste your time or money
Terribly Disappointed
We've heard so many great things about PPP, we finally decided to go. We won't go back. We got the wrong entree: a greasy fried dungeness crab instead of lobster. We would have let them know if it didn't take eating a third of it before discovering there was a huge crab shell at the bottom of the pile of legs. On top of that, I burned my lip from grease inside a shrimp ball. Service was slipshod at best; we weren't even offered condiments like sriracha or soy sauce. And the worst thing was, while this was going on, other tables were being served very well. I suppose because they were four to eight tops, not just a couple trying to have a nice meal.
