Recommended by a local for good pizza. He was wrong, It was excellent thin crust wood stove pizza. Ample seating inside with a Miami retro look. Very good service. Excellent dessert. Brickell prices. I would return.

Piola was close to our hotel so we strolled over there after reading some of the reviews here on TA. It's a pretty unique pizza experience using a super thin crust, even thinner than a Neopolitan crust. But the crust is super flavorful. We went with the Burrata pizza and as noted above, the crust was extremely good and the sauce was amazing. The burrata was more like ricotta cheese though and didn't have any of the mozzarella skin that's usual with burrata. The cheese was also cold which was odd, it should have at least been heated a little in the oven so it wasn't a cold bite on a hot pizza. But the flavor was still outstanding. We also shared the D'Annunzio salad which was Mixed greens, tomatoes, sweet corn, fresh bean sprouts, hearts of palm, mozzarella fior di latte, avocado, boiled eggs, Dijon mustard dressing. Then we topped it off with the profiteroles for dessert. The combination of the pizza, the salad and the shared dessert was a perfect meal for two people.

Great and fun place to eat around Brickell. Great Italian option, thin dough and awesome toppings. We tasted several dishes including Machu Picchu salad, caprese salad, Rio de Janeiro Pizza, pasta etc. Great service and parking nearby.

Very good place!! The pizza was quite delicious and the service was excellent, our waitress Adriana was super friendly and attentive, recommended some options and always kept an eye on us, definitely the best place we went

We ordered two pasta dishes, a pizza, and a salad to share between the four of us. Portions were great, and we weren’t able to finish everything. Food came out promptly and the server was extremely friendly and attentive. Great spot for authentic Italian food. Would recommend.

After a long travel day, with only pretzels.... this place was a godsend. Convenient to the Hampton Inn & Suites, and by convenient, I mean just around the corner. We arrived just after 5, the place was empty. In some cases, this would be a red flag, but we were famished and on the hunt for food...NOW. Service was excellent. quick, and attentive without being intrusive. And the food... omg the food was delicious. Burrata Caprese starter, divine. I could have eaten a few of those. I had a pizza. Went out of my comfort zone and ordered Truffle and More. surprisingly one of the best pies I've ever had. don't be afraid of the potatoes.... crust was perfect. Not too thick, not too thin, and cooked to perfection. My Mother had the lasagna, and says it was absolutely the best she's ever had....and she's been to Italy, lol. long story short, if you're in the area...hit them up, it'll be the best meal you have.

Thanks Pablo for great service and everyone for great pizza!!!! If you're nearby...GO! YOU Will not be disappointed.

Great food, great atmosphere, literally the best Italian food in Miami. The staff was great and the owners are very welcoming. You can feel the Italian herbs and tastes on everything you order. We had pizza, bruschettas, soup, calamari and focaccia strips. The restaurant’s vibes are nice and quite and we loved all the food. The hostess kept asking if we need anything and food came in the right order.

Italian restaurant with spectacular pizza, various flavors, pleasant atmosphere, attentive staff. I recommend the visit. 2 pizzas and 2 beers we spent 60 dollars.

This pizza is excellent! I'm originally from the Bronx and Westchester so I know a good pie. Our salads were fresh and our daughter's salad came with a bowl of cubed cheese on the side! Pleasant servers, also handsome! We will return.

This place makes excellent thin crispy pizzas. Lot of choices (more than 40). Salads are very good also. Service is fast and prices are very reasonable.

Piola has great pizza and a is a very nice place to hang out with good service. Definitely a place to recommend for people staying in the Brickell area and looking for a relaxed, yet in-style restaurants. The outdoors area is great.

I know! Why would you go to Miami and get Italian?! We were going on a Little Havana tour the next day and this was within a couple of blocks of our hotel and it was highly recommended by the bartender at our hotel. I'm not sure I've ever had a better Italian meal! Wow! We each got something different and we all just loved it! The Gnocchi with the Alfredo sauce! Omg! I almost licked the plate! LOL!

Delicious pizza!! Love that brick oven taste. Our waiter was an older gentleman with a grey ponytail and he was fabulous! Very good customer service and he was funny. I'd love to return here next time I'm in Miami!

We started out small, a couple of pizzas, Caesar salad, caprese.... everything was good. The Caesar I didn't care for, but it wasn't bad, just different. The cheese in the caprese was out of this world. Then the pizzas.... perfect crust, absolutely delicious, so we ended up ordering about 8 pizzas total.... and of course we had to get the gnocchis: perfect tomato sauce, and I only regret eating so much pizza before... I didn't have enough room to eat all the gnocchis; next time, more gnocchis! For dessert, we had the Nutella pizza, tiramisu and profiteroles. All was good, and I especially loved the tiramisu as it wasn't so sweet. Perfect meal, great service!

I was excited to return here with one of my Miami natives!!! The Italian food is great-simplicity and complexity combined. Whether pizza, pasta or main course you will be happy that your meal came. It is also a great place to share your dishes with your friend(s) and if you leave with some-since the portions are ample to have some the next day! The extra lure for Wednesday nights is Ladies Night!!! Free wine with every entree ordered!!! There is inside and outside seating. The night I was there featured a local guitarist and singer that were really great rocking cover songs asking the patrons for requests!!! Also, if you are aware, it is also a ShopLocal restaurant so I also got extra savings!!!

We have become regulars to this place since we live close by. Pizzas are great with many many options to choose from. I would give this place a higher rating if their service was better. In different occasions we had gotten bad service. Last time our table ordered four pizzas, unfortunately mine came 15 min after the first two but the last one came almost 30 min later. They said they just forgot to make the last one. We also had to ask for plates three times before they brought them. I have noticed their service is much much better when one of their managers is working. I don't now the name of the guy but he is very attentive and he pays attentions to details. He is a tall, white bold guy.

Love a good pizza and a great deal? Check this place out. When you sit at the bar during happy hour it’s buy one get one free. Not on the drinks, on the pizzas. And the pizzas are crispy and very good. Well priced and a great place to enjoy happy hour. Parking can be a challenge, especially on Fridays and weekends.

Pizza was excellent and my wife chose the Gnocchi which she is still raving about. If you are in the area, definitely worth a visit! Bruschetta was also fantastic!

We ordered to-go and overall was very nice but a little pricey. The quality was good but the crust could be tastier, the salsa napolitana was very good and the cheese was great.

We are new to downtown Miami and we were looking for a place to get a late night bite to eat. We stopped in and sat outside and ordered a great pizza ! One is fine for sharing if you have an appetizer, but if not get two ! I love their unusual toppings!

We love Piola! The staff is always so nice and friendly, and the food is solid. The Chicken Parm is classic and doesn’t taste greasy or heavy like a lot of chicken parms often do. The Nutella pizza with strawberries is also the best in town.

This is the second time we have been here when they were not busy; waited at least 15 min each time for a server and ended up walking out. I wish I could comment on their food, but wouldn’t give us the opportunity.

We came here for lunch. They have a nice and spacious outdoor patio, but since it was hot we went inside and sat at the bar. At the back of the bar there is the dining room and also a small market with imported products. That day they were offering 1 entrée free by ordering 2 drinks and 1 entrée, but we had planned to try some new HH later in the afternoon, and didn’t know how big their portions are: we decided to go with their combos of ½ salad + ½ pizza. So glad we did that: if those were half portions, I can’t imagine how much food you get with the regular ones! Their salads (we ordered a Cusco and a Chop Chop) were very fresh, and the pizza (we had a Capricciosa and a Margherita) tasted authentic Italian, meaning the pizza is very light and easy to digest. Unfortunately they were out of Peroni beer, so we ordered a carafe of imported Pinot Grigio. Their carafe, by the way, is an amazing deal: $20 for 1 liter (= 1 bottle plus 1/3 of a bottle). Lunch prices were a great deal, but I looked at their regular menu and they have reasonable prices altogether. I look forward to go back and try their other dishes.

Went here as it was right around the corner from our hotel. It was exactly what we were looking for. Quaint outdoor seating, good food, good portion size, friendly staff. The pizza is shareable and there are specials that make it really inexpensive. The drinks are great also, be sure to check out the drink menu. It is family friendly. The staff was so friendly it took us by pleasant surprise! We will surely go back when staying in the area again!

Stopped in for dinner with my wife. Server Alfonso was right on the ball, attending to our table with friendly fun service. My wife had the stuffed chicken and I had Penne with Bolognese sauce. Both were perfectly cooked with maximum delicious flavor. Service and selections were very good. Prices are mid range and good value for the quality and quantity. Highly recommend.

Unpretentious outward appearance - my wife and I walked by two or three times before deciding to try it. Food is fresh and well prepared. Service was quick and friendly. Seating indoors and outside. Prices are in the low to mid range. Glad we stopped in and will return when we are in Miami again.

Nice, moderate food, moderate price, good if you need some fast basic eating. Pizza could be richer...

I'm a fan of anywhere that labels their 12" pizza as "individual size." I had the margharita. It was very good, but not outstanding. Friendly bartender.

We walked past the A and it immediately caught our attention. The restaurant has a beautiful terrace and a colorful interior. The restaurant staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was freshly prepared. Everything tasted very good. We felt very comfortable. This Italian restaurant is highly recommended. Thank you very much for a cozy evening with culinary delicacies.

Excelente place for a pizza, close to Brickell Ave downtown. Next time you are in Miami and want to enjoy a pizza try Piola.

1250 S Miami Avenue is the address for at least 5 stand alone restaurants, a strip of eateries, not a food court. The landlord has developed a destination for good eats. Piola serves as very good thin crust pizza but not a great one. If you are staying in the Brickell area of Miami and desire an good, inexpensive pizza and pleasant service this is for you. 1/2 liter of wine, one local brew and the most expensive pizza on the menu with tip - $30.00.

I tried this other branch of Piola, had my first experience in Fort Lauderdale and since I was staying in the Brickell area, took another chance. It was late as well, in the evening, but there were several tables occupied, and food was fine, as well as the server that was very kind. Food is ok, nothing to write home about it, and sometimes when there is nowhere else it is fine, as for the prices are a bit steep for what you get.

We love their pizzas and salads. Pizza is not too big ( individual size) but it is delicious!!! the dough is very light and thin. Very easy to digest pizza. Which is rare.

Had a pizza on a Sunday evening. No reservation needed. Quick service and good attention. They were showing on top the MEX - USA match on big screen!

Ok so its not fair to judge pizza when you come from NJ where we have the best pizza in the world. The pizza here was just ok, really lacking in sauce hardly any at all. Overall ok

I wish the outdoor seating area was as eclectic as the interior. This place has more of a Neapolitan style pizza than thin-crust. It's decent enough but I wish there were more options for beer and wine. The service was ok at best too. But the relaxed atmosphere, even on the major street was nice.

My son and daughter walked to this restaurant from our hotel, Hampton Inn and Suites -Downtown Brickell for take out. It was a very short walk from the hotel. The pizza was good. The crust was thick and tasty. We also ordered spaghetti for my grandson, which was ok. Not great. Could have used more sauce. We thought this was a little expensive for what we got, but it was good and we had it in time to watch the end of the Steelers game on Christmas Day!!

We stayed in Miami before a cruise and ventured out for a walk and something to eat. We found Piola and we're so glad we did. We ordered salads and just a "regular" pizza with Pepperoni, mushrooms, and peppers; nothing fancy. The salads were excellent and the pizza was the best we have had in a very long time. The staff was very attentive and pleasant and we really enjoyed our time there. In fact, when a downpour hit, it was a no-brainer to stay for another drink :) Highly recommend.

This is a must stop for us while we stay each year at the Hampton Inn Brickell down the street. Can't beat the any pizza for $6 during the 4-5PM time frame. Although most times we get here to late and have to pay normal price, it's all worth it. Love all the pizza and reasonably priced wine. Friendly efficient staff and a yearly return for us on each visit back to the area.

This is an intermediate restaurant between a fast food one and those with an average decent food. Pizza and pasta are OK, and so the prices. The problem is the service, though I can not blame the restaurant for an awful service because I was only once and maybe it was only that I had bad luck.

I was staying in Brickell very close to Piola and I absolutely loved it. Great Pizza, good pasta and the place is perfect to have a good time. Is very well located. I recommend the Miami Beach Pizza, it was my fav. Staff was super nice. Totally recommend this place.

We were just walking by looking for some where to eat late ,10pm on Sunday night. Very few places open or willing to serve, and we saw Piola. The service fabulous , food even better!! We will go back. I had the penne with salmon, my friend had Tomato basil pizza. The other couple had a bottle of great wine and an antipasto , Caesar salad and something I cannot spell. Ha ha. Soooo good.

I went with my husband (who is italian) last Friday and we both agreed that they serve the best pizza we have eaten in a long long long time! We couldn't help coming back two days later during our holiday in Miami beach. Good prices and friendly staff, I highly recommend it!

We are lunch at Piola. We had the meatballs for an appetizer! They were amazing! Stephanie was our server. She was Great! She made excellent recommendations and was prompt the entire meal! We highly recommend!

Our family was in Miami pre cruise and were excited to eat here. It exceeded our expectations. The pizza looked simple enough when it arrived at our table, but it tastes amazing. Our kids 9 and 6 loved it, even though it wasn’t their standard pizza chain pizza. We also order apps to share that were also good. Because we ate early (4:30pm) they had a $6 pizza deal so our bill was ridiculously low. I would highly recommend. The staff were also very welcoming.

Walked here from our hotel. Had sangria, pizza, and spaghetti. Servers were very friendly. Sat outside. Really enjoyed our dinner!

amazing food and service, i would get the smoked salmon penne as my death row meal. staff was very nice and overall a great experience

Excellent food, service and every staff member seemed to care about every customer. We were not rushed and allowed time between courses and did not have the check presented until we were ready to finish our evening. Excellent!

We had a great night at Piola. It started with a fantastic server who made us feel very welcome and guided us through selecting a range of craft beers to try. They have an extensive selection at reasonable prices and we enjoyed trying them. We settled on pizza for dinner. Essentially a meat lovers type with a fancy name and it was delicious. Ample toppings with a crispy base which tasted perfect. It was a real fun night.

First the service was quick and efficient. Food was tasty and interesting. We went for a mixture of pizza, salads and pastas. We came out of dinner full and glad that we made this unplanned stop near our hotel. We had stayed at the Hampton Inn Brickell Miami and this restaurant was just around the corner. There were tables outside, but we chose to eat inside which had a nice casual vibe. This is not a fine dining experience, but we had a good one nevertheless.

First I want to express just how good the service is. Ignacio was our server for lunch and the entire staff also expressed they'd be available if we needed anything by stopping by and letting us know. My wife wasn't that hungry so she had a few bites off my plate and we tried the Gnocchi with Alfredo. The Gnocchi were out of this world! We went on to order dessert knowing just how great that meal was. My wife requested cannoli and I ordered tiramisu. Ignacio came back after a few minutes to tell us that they didn't have any cannoli at this time. The head server was walking by after seating a couple and quickly corrected him saying if we'd be willing to wait, they'd make her some fresh ones right now. So we waited. My wife (italian) was in heaven! She thought they were so good and wouldn't even share one with me lol. That was ok because the tiramisu wasn't going her way either as it was so good! This is a MUST stop in in the are!

I was pizza piola lover 10 years ago and now I had the chance e to have another pizza Mantova in piola with beef carpaccio and dessert same taste after 6 years! Wonderful experience and great service bartender best!

Decent spot for pizza and other Italian fare. Good service and reasonable prices. Very good sized portions for chicken parmigiana. I actually asked them to cut the amount of pasta in half (but NOT the amount of sauce!) and that ended up being just right for the broccoli Alfredo dish.

I have eaten at Piola multiple times when staying at hotels in Brickell. This place never disappoints - the pizza is fresh and it’s obvious they use great ingredients and know how to cook the pies to get a perfectly balanced texture. The staff members are friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They also have a good drink selection.

Not much cheese on the pizza, burrata from it came frozen which got cold the rest of the pizza, they dont serve bread like typical italian restaurants, very poor

Indoor and outdoor seating but at 9pm they has no availability. The hostess gave us seats at the bar where pizza was 2 for 1. However the bar server said my under21 daughter can’t be served at the bar. No problem for us as we were tired after a 10 hour flight, we got take out, pizzas were great. We will be back. Atmosphere lovely and buzzy.

Everything about the restaurant is 5 star! The decor is colorful, kitschy and well done. We had a selection from the lunch menu. We started with garlic knots that were perfectly prepared. Then I found the orange juice machine & had a glass of fresh squeezed Florida orange juice- delicious. Lunch was Caesar salad and gnocchi or spaghetti. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Valeria was really great. We were throwing a lot at her and she handled all with ease. Finally, portions plentiful and price reasonable.

I came into Piola in hopes of ordering a salad to take back to my hotel room. So, I went in & I noticed an attractive Italian food store inside this restaurant, with lots of imported Italian condiments, pastas, focaccia breads, etc. Then, I saw a delicious looking meat lasagna being served & I decided to stay here & eat. But, my lasagna was cold in the center. I hated to send it back, but it wasn’t good. The staff was very apologetic & friendly & they immediately took my plate away to be warmed. What returned was a hot lasagna with mushy noodles & severely overcooked around the edges. The flavor was OK, but I cannot recommend this restaurant’s lasagna. I saw a little boy eating a Margherita pizza that looked thin & yummy. So, I ordered myself one of these too & it was wonderful; the pizza dough was delicious & crispy, tomato sauce light & flavorful & the cheese complimented this pizza perfectly! I’d return here for the pizza. I still got my salad to go. But, when I was hungry later & ready to eat it, there was no oil & vinegar salad dressing, as was promised on Piola’s menu. This was one of the main ingredients mentioned on the menu for this salad , yet it was forgotten, making the dish completely unappealing. So, I instead ordered room service & Piola’s dry salad remained untouched. I wanted to at least give Piola 3 stars for effort, but they hardly even deserve 2 stars because of their terribly untrained kitchen staff.

Great service. Great food. Great deals. Highly recommend!! Fun, good atmosphere. Buy 1 get 1 free entrees and wine!!!

I live on Brickell and have passed by this restaurant probably.... hundreds times. I have seen the promotions but never actually dined in.And last Sunday, while passing by(again) I saw their sign for a life music at 7.30 pm and my family and I decided to check it out. We have been living in the area and never dined in there. We were so delighted and had a wonderful time. It is a "must visit" neighborhood restaurant. There was a very talented band playing bossa nova, the food was delicious, the drinks were a "steal"($3 Mimosas). The prices were AMAZING!!!.Pizzas starting from $10 were huge and delicious. Being always on a diet I could never, ever eat one by myself, so we shared. The salads were also huge. The service was amazing.!!! Our waiter, middle aged, white hair, skinny guy was absolutely awesome. In addition to his great service,we were asked few times by an Italian guy if everything is OK... We had a wonderful experience. This place is a steal for the location, food prices, atmosphere and mood. I want to have dinner every night there.

We were staying at a hotel near this place and thought we would give it a go for dinner one night. We all had a pizza and every one of them was great. Service was great too. Would recommend this place if you’re near by.

Am staying at a nearby hotel and decided to try Polak for dinner. It’s a big place on South Miami Street with indoor and outdoor seating. The menu has standard Italian appetizers, pizza and pasta, along with a limited beer and wine menu. They only offered 1 red wine by the glass which was surprising. The service was great, the waiter was very friendly and professional. The good was good, the pizza thin crust as I like it, though would have preferred more tomato sauce. The salad was okay, nothing special. The prices are reasonable and less than other Italian restaurants in the area. The restaurant had a nice small shop inside with a good selection of olive oils, pastas, sauces and wine.

Food was very tasty and their mimosas were perfect. Jonas and the entire staff were exceptional. We'll definitely be going back.

Tatiana very good attention Very nice place, 100% recommended, very accessible, excellent service of Tatiana very good waitress

Im new in the area and decided to try some authentic italian pizza, tried a couple of restaurants in the area but nothing comes close to Piola. My server was Ricardo hes the kind of ppl that make u want to come back, amazing service. Had to meet the creator of that pizza, would never imagine cubans make pizza so goood, Yoandri the pizza man. Totally recomend this place

Nice fresh pizza from an extensive menu. Pizzas are fairly priced and on the 29th of each month they have special deals. Today was unlimited gnocchi. There is also cut price Pizza' s every hour from 4pm, 5pm and 6pm mon-thurs. They also have vegan options too. Drinks are fairly priced too. Local and branded beer from $5.00. cocktails from $7.00. Can get a little busier which results in long waiting times from staff, but this won't deter us from visiting again.

This was the best pizza in Miami for sure, New York style and the tirmasu... wow. The atmosphere is awesome as well and Juan the waiter was great!!!

We found it by chance. Excellent pizza!! Very good option to stop while visiting Brickell. Nice setting. Excellent atention.

This place don’t deserve any star but nothing i can do my today’s experience was the worst i ever had in any restaurant in Brickell. I live in Brickell area and i’ll try all places around but the service in this place is terrible the didn’t gave me my food and no one came back to ask anything no water no customer service and at the end I asked for my check 3 times until i had to go to the bar to pay and i told the waiter that i don’t want to pay the gratuity because i had no service at all, the manager came to the table to tell me that the gratuity was mandatory and i know that is no true, i told him that and he told EAT YOUR SH…T I PAY FOR THIS, i’m a woman and this is totally unprofessional and disrespectful, i told again to the bartender i want to pay my check and she said that the manager told her he’s going to pay for it. This is a shame for this place this person don’t deserve a position in any restaurant hospitality is not made for people like this. I’M SORRY FOR PIZZA PIOLA

I’ve been asked so many time what I think about American Italian food. My answer was always “it’s different. I’m not saying it’s better or worse, it’s simply different “ Till I tried this place. OMG!! Unbelievable. The dough, the sauce, the mozzarella, the ingredients!! Everything is to die for! Thanks Maria for suggesting me the perfect pizza! I look forward to coming back and recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a real Italian pizza!

I'm eating here a few times a week. And you can eat healthy. Salads are amazing with great ingredients and fresh. The pizza is incredible. If you want to try something unique ask for the São Paulo with a special cheese. My favorite salad is Toscanini. Can't have enough of it. Plus it has a great atmosphere for sporting events or weekend nights.

Consistently good, they use semolina in the dough and it makes a great difference in the crunch and texture of the pizza. I do like the diavola more than many of the others. This time the service was a little slow, but they only had two servers during a busy lunch hour with the World Cup in the background, so it's quite fine

Enjoyed the pizza here and there was a DJ and he was playing just the right music. Wonderful atmosphere. Terrific food.

Great choice of American craft beer and good honest pizza. Friendly and fast service with nice surroundings.

Good pizza with a number of interesting toppings available. Outdoor seating was pleasant and not too expensive for Miami.

We ate here while staying in Miami. They have indoor and outdoor (street side) seating and a nice vibe. The pizza was delicious and great service. Prices were reasonable and the pizzas are baked in a wood oven. If your in the Brickell neighborhood, make plans to stop by here for a great meal.

The atmosphere of this restaurant was nice , it was very pretty and had some good music. The food was lovely and came out relatively quick. Portions were big my boyfriend and I had to ask for some take away boxes as couldn’t finish. Service was really quick, thanks to Shirlei. She was very friendly and we were well looked after.

The pizza is really horrible they dont care about costumer and quality pls guys close if you dont want to do good pizza 😡last time i order

It’s has been a must every time in Miami and for me one of the best pizzas my only complaint is they took out the beef carpaccio that was so amazing here Also the service was a bit slow not as usual. But I do recommend the pizzas. For me one of the best in miami. Ben back soon.

I don't understand the hype this place gets over Tripadvisor. Food was mediocre at best. Service was good though. Over-priced for what it serves.

Went to Piola for lunch 2 min walk from the Hampton Inn. The Pizza was Great. The Chicken Parm was excellent and the profiteroles dessert was to die for. Don't get spooked by the atmosphere. Its not your typical Italiano place with checker table cloths and candles in sangria bottles. This is Miami baby. The staff, management and food was great. The only problem is everything looks and smells fantastic it's hard to pick what you want to get to eat. try it all you will not be sorry.

Let’s start with the service! 5 stars! Food was absolutely delicious! Bruschetta was garden fresh! Caesar salad was perfection and the Pizza was absolutely fantastic! We tried this place on our last night, if we had known sooner we would have come every night! Price is perfection too! A must!

Went for a quick bite after a day on the beach. Ended up staying for quite some time. The food was so fresh and tasty. Lots of shaved Parmesan on my salad and pizza was huge and tasty! Staff were very friendly and kind. Place was super clean. Dining inside and outside. Prices were very reasonable. Service was quick. Would definitely go back!

The pizza is good. It has very thin crust. You almost have to eat an entire pie yourself to be equivalent to one slice at a normal pizza place. Thank god I ordered two pies. This was barely enough to feed me and two toddlers lol. I can only speak for the cheese pizza and it's definitely good. I almost felt like this was diet pizza. It is not greasy, and it is not all bread. It's good but order a lot if you have a large appetite. If my husband was there, we would have had to have three pies.

There was a good lunchtime menu. I chose a piizza, which was served reasonably quickly and was very large, Compared to other restaurants in the area prices at this restaurant are very competitive. The staff were very friendly and were genuinely interested to hear about our holiday

Recently, Budweiser was sold to us as a local beer in another store. At the Piola we really got local beer from Miami served. What a great surprise. But let's get to the main thing. The food was excellent. We had the homemade lasagna and the Toscanony salad with salmon, tuna and brie. And as a dessert, we treated ourselves to some "real" mojito, tasting their delicacy including the alcohol really well.

The food was ok not great. It seemed very basic. Be warned the Cesar dressing is sweet for some reason. We where not fans. The pizza was better than pizza hut but not as good as a normal restaurants. It's very thin crust ( if you do the special the half salad half pizza your pizza) it will be in like a flat bread style. The Italian beer was great however.

Enjoyed pizzas here. Had the Brooklyn (chicken, broccoli and gorgonzola), it was very nice. Thin crust too. Service good, the server kept out water topped up all the time.

I was there 3 times, had different meals, and allways happy, good location, good food, nice staff, everything you need for a good experience. I would definetly go back.

I live a couple blocks away and often walked by this wonderful location so tried it out and was surprised with the friendly servers and outstanding food. The servers are the most friendly I’ve found in Miami. It’s a causal place with beer and wine but the food is outstanding. The pizza, with it’s thin crust and great toppings is wonderful. Everyone should try this place. I have not found another place in Brickell with as friendly and supportive servers. I will visit them once a week, just because they make it an enjoyable place to be.

just spent an evening here and wasn't disappointed neither was my partner as Tuesday night is draft beer for 3$ and includes brands like Peroni and Stella so he was well impressed. We were served by a lovely server called Harry who was so helpful and friendly. He was always on hand to meet our needs despite the restaurant being full he made the evening for us. The venue has very colourful decor and the atmosphere is also really friendly. The restaurant main options are pizza but they do a number of different dishes and can recommend this place

I lived this little restaurant. It's not just a pizza place you can find real italian food here! Food it's delicious. It's a calm place to have dinner and the restaurant it really cute.

I found Piola at Brickell by coincidence and since i had the Quattro formaggi and the Margherita i haven’t stop going every other Sunday. The dough, the sauce and the ingredients are awesome.

Visited tonight and last night. The food was tasty and there was a good choice of beers. Friendly service too. Was very disappointed to be misled by a sign outside advertising Sangria for $4 all day only to be charged $8.50 as it was after 7pm. We probably would have visited several more times before we leave Miami but will be going else where for the rest of our time here.

Right in downtown miami food to die for staff so friendly shout out to Vincenzo and Joe absolutely great people here for three days shame it's not longer

My salad was good, my friend was happy with his pizza... but wait, loud salsa and merengue music?!? It was way too loud for a Tuesday night. Not a place if you want to eat quietly.

Enjoyed outdoor dining at Piola with wife. Very good pizzas at reasonable pricing AND free wine for my wife after 8pm. Casual environment, clean and attentive service. Just around the corner from our hotel...

Family friendly, bustling restaurant. Service was lickety split. Our waitress got the order exactly right and we were served in record time - which was helpful because we were racing the clock. Food was good, portions were just the right size.

Piola is an authentic italian pizzeria chain originally from Treviso province. Pizza is tasty and made with fresh ingredients, (not napoletanian style), one of my favorite in Brickell/Miami area. If you stay and order at the bar, you get a bogo deal. Inside, you can find an interesting market offering a good selection of authentic italian products. The price is fair. Elian at the bar has been kind and promtly took care of his guests. Definitely, a pizzeria to recommend.

Excellent service, perfect pizza Margherita, reasonable prices. The location is perhaps not the best - next to a busy street, office buildings and a parking garage. But the important thing is: they serve great pizza!

Bad service The waiter need to work better , give more attention to the Client Maybe they need to have a corse to improve the service Ingácio is very good Hi do the job because the other one stay more than 20 min to take a order for a table for two This is the difference Ignacio work in 6 tables em the other one stay 20 min in one table Bad service !!!

I'm a lifelong New Yorker and pizza is my favorite food. I had the individual margarita pizza at Piola - Brickell and It was just as good as the pizza in New York! And the price was excellent as was the service.

Excellent service, delicious food, would definitely recommend! I had mushroom ravioli and my husband had a pizza. Both were outstanding!!

Ate dinner sitting outside after a day of travelling. Great and fun service. Pizzas were excellent - really thin crust and cooked to perfection. Finished off by profiteroles that were filled with ice cream and drizzled with chocolate. A great place to eat

Nice place, very well located. The place is cozy, clean, and smells good. The service is fast and food is very good also! On top, they have a nice store with Italian products.

Stopped in since we were a couple doors down at hotel. Great pizza and food. My son loved his carbonara pizza. Salads great. Caprese fresh. We loved this place.

Not the most sexy location but really pity to miss a nice pizza during your weekend in Miami . Thank you chef . Service is efficient and friendly.

It was really busy so we ate at the bar. I ordered pasta will smoked salmon and a tomato sauce. It was delicious. Because we ordered at the bar, the meal was a two for one deal!

Our family of 8 visited not ones but twice during our short trip to Miami. We went for dinner the first time and loved everything we ordered. The 4 kids in our family enjoyed the bolognese pasta so much they begged us to order a second portion for them which they quickly devoured. They loved the garlic knots and cheese pizza as well. The adults shared the D’Annunzio salad which was excellent and two pizzas the Piola Summer and Rio de Janeiro both out of this world. After our cruise was asked our kids what they wanted to do for the few hours we had before our flight home and they all chose eating at Piola again so we returned for lunch. We had the bolognese, D’Annunzio salad, garlic knots and bruschetta which were all just as amazing the second time around. We also had the gnocchi legnano which was a pillowy bite of pure Heaven. I will be dreaming about and missing that dish for a long time to come! To top off the great food our servers were all friendly, kind, efficient and more than accommodating for our large party. I wouldn’t hesitate to return here or to recommend this restaurant to anyone traveling to Miami Brickell!

Went to dinner with a large group of friends. We were seated quickly and our server was very helpful recommending the pizza special with greens and lemon zest. I wouldn’t have ordered it on my own but I loved it. Also got to sample some local brews - Shark Bait was my favorite.

We stopped for lunch before visiting the History Miami Museum at this location in downtown/Brickell. We had a great deal in my opinion, with the combo half pizza and salad for around $ 11. The pizza by the way is very good, definitely Italian, you can tell by the mozzarella and the light dough. We had a carafe of white wine, which because it was $ 20 I thought it was a small carafe…turned out it was 1 liter, that’s a bottle and another third of a bottle. Great deal and we were pretty happy. Nice place inside, they have also a small market, really small. Beside lunch specials, it seems that also their regular menu has very good prices and if they cook pasta like they make pizza, I’ll be back to try a few things. This place is added now to my “Miami Italian Favorite” list in Google map.

Italian oriented food, with some very interesting salads. Medium to slightly high above normal price. The greeter was a supre cus7oriented person. Our waiter was a little tough to get at times. Food overall very good.

The waiter was very attentive. Ordered lentil soup as an appetizer and the lasagna for my entrée. Both served hot and tasty. Al fresco dining a nice touch.

I came here for dinner on a Saturday night. It was not very busy at all and we sat inside although outside seating was an option. The staff were all very friendly from greeting you when you walk in to the waiter and his recommendations. The food as others have said was very good. We had a 2 year old with us so I can attest that this is a kid-friendly place as well. Lastly, the prices are reasonable for what you get. Would definitely return.

We had lunch here, I had the minestrone soup and it was delicious and half of a margherita very thin yummy pizza. My husband had the same pizza and a ceaser salad, nothing special just some wilted lettuce and a few croutons, he had a mustard dressing and it was yummy. Our waiter was fantastic, the place is super noisy- very loud traffic with lots of car horns honking and then loud music!!A server told me that we should come back for dinner, you get a free dinner when you order two meals??. So later on we decided to do that ,well we almost left because unlike the really nice waiter that convinced me to come back, our new waiter was the bartender and you had to eat at the bar and he was difficult and combative. We looked at each other and decided to give this place a try especially as it was getting late,I am so glad that we did because the chef here is great. I had a pasta with a light tomato sauce, small pieces of mozzarella and vegetables and it was delicious. My husband had spaghetti and meatballs and he thought it was delicious also.We also shared a large salad and it was fine. There is zero atmosphere and it is really noisy ,and the bartender is super rude- But the food is great!!!$ Would we go back- yes because for me it's all about the food!

Pizza delicacies , big individual pizza , I prefer to share and ask for something more . Delicious Tiramisu! Cool environment and in the middle of the revitalized and sensational Brickel.

We were staying around the corner at the Hampton pre-cruise, were hungry mid evening, and chose this restaurant based on these reviews. It did not disappoint. We had pizza, which had great thin crust and was very tasty. Friendly efficient service. We sat on the patio - a real treat for us in January!

We ate dinner here 2 nights in a row! Everything was delicious! Prices reasonable! Might even go back again tomorrow! A must try!

We ordered the Piola pizza and asked for ham to be included. The basil on the pizza would fit into a thimble, I counted the sundried tomatoes at 4 (less than a bite) and the ham (which we paid extra for) was less than adequate for having to pay extra for it. Overall, the pizza tasted good (and we were hungry), but I would never order from Piola again. Sorry guys. You really missed the boat.

Terrible service. The long-standing deal at the bar 2 for 1 has been changed and the bartender decided to scam us out of the deal and explain it properly. Food is not worth the money plenty of other good places in Brickell

The food was delicious as always but, we didn’t quite like the service. The waiter made us order a lot more food telling us the portions “were small” he also wasn’t wearing his face mask properly so we didn’t feel they’re taking serious precautions toward the COVID situation

Cozy place, good Service, delicious pizza, including for those who have celiac disease and gluten intolerance all pasta has gluten free option, the q is a differential

During my stay in Miami I started to miss the taste of the italian food I eat back home. Decided to have dinner at La Piola and really enjoyed it! couldn’t have chosen a better place for a Salmon and tomatoes Pasta just like the one I eat in Italy! So recommended! The restaurant is cool and the staff friendly. You need to stop here!

Had dinner at Piola tonight. The waiter was friendly and trying to please, the food was good and tasted rather Italian and not American, the place itself is very pleasant for a broad audience and the prices are reasonable for the location. This looks like a good place for families, business and friends alike.

We were seated immediately by the hostess who told us our server would be right with us. The server never came. Eventually someone who seemed like a manager came to our table & said the server was swamped & he took our order. (There we're only 3 other booths with couples eating, the restaurant was near empty. Not sure what our server was swamped with) anyway, they were out of iced tea, he brought our alternate drinks and then never came back again. A food runner from the kitchen brought us our pizza, never saw our server once, the man who took our order never returned. No one refilled our drinks or checked on us at all to see how we liked the food or if we needed anything at all. After finishing our dinner I eventually stopped a server and asked if we could pay her, she brought our check and added an 18% gratuity to it. Not sure what for since she literally did nothing for us. Was a shame bcz the pizza was amazing. Would get it 'to go' if there is a next time, horrendously bad, non existent service tho.

We loved this place so much we went back the next night and had the same meals again. Beautiful , delicious food, good beer, great friendly staff. Would really recommend this restaurant and dont forget to try the sangria

Ordered the pizza over the phone for a hotel delivery. The pizza arrived very quickly and we noticed that the pizzas were stone cold. The quality of the pizza was very good

Had a good pizza. Reasonably priced for Miami/Miami Beach. I was asked if I wanted the change from a $20 note. Customers should not be steered in the direction of providing tips; it ought to be entirely at our discretion. Good place to visit if you just want pizza.

We went last night for pizzas. Valentine's attention from 10/10. Attentive to everything. We'll definitely be back. Very pleasant weather

After reading the reviews I was quite disappointed, the pizza is nowhere near an Italian pizza. The dough was hard, not crispy and the cheese not of good quality and very oily . Not to recommend if you look for a good pizza.

Our family of four went for a quick bite. The waitress was efficient and friendly. The pizza was outstanding and plentiful! Lots of flavor too! We enjoyed eating outdoors in the lovely weather.

Best fire pizza ever.... You like gnocchi? best day every 29th. Gnocchi night (Argentinian tradition).

Went here as it was very close to our hotel. The pizzas say single serve on the menu but they are definitely big enough to share with another person. There are some unique varieties to choose from. Our server, Augustin, was very good. He suggested the lemonade to drink and I’m glad he did because it was excellent. Stop in if you’re walking by. It’s worth a try.

We have eaten here several times since our son moved into the vue condos above the restaurant. The food and service here are always great. Nice patio for dining as well.

It was a nice atmosphere and there was 2 vegan options which was refreshing to see in this part of the world. Food was very good.

I've come here many times and the restaurant is so different depending on the time of the day or night. As a bar it's amazing and full of energy by night, and as a restaurant it offers italian style pizzas of great taste and excellent price! Definitely one of my Miami musts!

Been here with friends a cupple of times... restaurant is nice & modern... staff were very friendly.. pizza was delicious Would recommend

Very nice outside seating area with music playing. Best pizza I've had in Miami. Good selection of beers & drinks. Sara is a fantastic host. After just a few visits, she knows your tastes and always comes up with the best recommendation. Try the fine Carpaccio. Good place to go with friends.

After checking out 3 Italian restaurants in the area we chose Piola for price, options and location and within walking distance of our hotel (Mandarin Oriental, Brickell Key - 15 minutes walk). We sat inside thinking it would be quietly than on the sidewalk. It was until it started to get busy and what did they do, turn up the music volume. I will never understand why restaurants do this. We ordered the quacamole stater, lots of tasty quac dip served with focaccia. For mains we had the Chicken Parmigiana (average) and the Lasagne Rena (tasty but not heated enough). We washed it down with a litre of the house red, an OK offering. Friendly service, OK interior, reasonable price ($71 + tip).

Appearances can be deceiving- don’t let the location (connected to a Hampton inn) deceive you. Delicious food, very friendly service, and all around great gem.

Service was fast, our pizzas were light and thin, they were delicious, their tiramisu is to die for. Our waitress was knowledgeable about their menu and really friendly. Would return again!

We went because there were two offers on Tuesday night. Pizza for $7 and Beer on tap for $3. Our server didn't mention either of these to us but they were well publicised outside and on our table. When our bill came we were charged full price for both beer and Pizza. I think we were taken advantage of because we were tourists. Really disappointing experience.

Awesome service! From the moment we entered, nothing but perfection. The hostess, servers and staff were attentive and friendly.

We so enjoyed our first visit. Food and service were top notch. Pizza was delicious. “Pepperoni” sounds boring, but it really was good. And the tiramisu is homemade and is soooo good!

We've been going to Piola for over 15 years. They keep good quality although service speed can vary. Wine has a fair price and for the ones who don't want pizza, they can have other Italian dishes like carpaccio and salads.

We walked past this place and tried it. Because it was Wednesday, the wine was free for all ladies! The prices are good for Miami. The food was delicious, been in Milan, Italy two weeks ago and it wasn't as good as this. My gf had a pizza. It was a big one with thin crust and delicious tomato sauce. I had a pasta wich was also pretty good. The service (Ali) was super friendly and helpfull. The manager came to our table too, to check if everything was fine. When we came to America, we were told that the service is always over the top. In two weeks, this restaurant was the first to met our expectation. I recommend this place to everyone.

A great place to enjoy great pizza and watch people go by or a game on the TV. I had a simple Margarita pizza and loved it. Local beers available and glad I tried one. Can’t beat the prices!

The pizzas are super crispy and very fine (all sorts of different. toppings). Service gracious and friendly. The ambiance with the many colorful lamps is also pretty, along with good music. E.G. Red wine by bottle at very decent prices.

The best real Italian thin crust pizza! Here the pizza dough gently rest for 72 hours! The pizza then is like a dream to digest and the ingredients are fresh. After the exterior renovation is now very pleasant to sit outside, service also is very friendly and professional, Grazie Paolo! Remember to stop by the inside mini market if you are looking for quality imported Italian food ….!!! 😍

Food was ok, service was good, but for what you get quite expensive a 1 course meal with beers for two, $64 with service

My family and I returned to Piola after about six years to try this old coupon we got. While the coupon didn't work (it was just a funny joke), we still enjoyed our first evening in Miami before a cruise the best we could. The food was great, the service was alright, and there were no cleanliness issues. First, and most importantly, the food. I ordered their version of Hawaiian Pizza, and it was extremely good. I forgot how large their individual pizzas are for one person -- they were incredibly large, and there was no way I was going to finish the entire pizza. Everyone else at my table also thoroughly enjoyed their pizza. My Rating for this Category: 5/5 Next, the service. Being completely honest, this is where Piola is lacking. While our server was incredibly friendly and gentle, the time to get the food was incredibly long. Our pizzas took pushing an hour, if not slightly over an hour, to get. That is way too long, especially when there were literally only two other families in the entire restaurant. My Rating for this Category: 3/5 Finally, the cleanliness. There were no issues with the cleanliness. The food came out hot when it should've, all of the dishes appeared washed and were not sticky, and the table, additionally, was not sticky. So, I had no concerns in this area. My Rating for this Category: 5/5 Again, it was a family joke that made us return to Piola; however, after going back again six years later, I might be hesitant to return again. The service, while it was friendly, was incredibly slow. It took forever to get our food when there were not many customers in the restaurant. Also, while the food was good, I might be excited to try other options in Miami besides pizza.

Ricardo you are great - from the moment we sat down assisted all the way Great food - highly recommend the lasagne!! My wife and I loved it we will be back on Friday

This place was recommended to us by the JW Marriott staff. Pretty lively place with inside or outside seating. We chose outside, it was a mild night. We shared a well topped pizza(name escapes me) and a chopped salad. Had a local beer and my mate had a white wine. Reasonable price, good atmosphere and best of all very good food.

Perfect, place, located in the beautiful town of Brickell, Super central, very close to the Mall of Brickell and Attention, as the food is five stars

Great pizza, great service and cool vibe. The thin crust pizza is nothing short of amazing. The outside seating is fun although the music might be a little loud at times. Great spot to watch people and relax.

Lovely down to earth place, great staff, friendly nothing too much trouble especially Rick! Great choice of craft beers.

Very good restaurant. We ate excellent pizzas cooked over a wood fire. They were super accommodating to modify the children's menu slightly for our somewhat delicate daughter. Smiling and caring waiters. We recommend!

Nice staff, nice place, big smiles and a cozy atmosphere. And best off all... they serve the best gluten-free Pizza’s ever, even my gluten-tolerant boyfriend liked it ;-)

Delish pizza! They have gluten free crust made with cauliflower and it was the best I’ve had. Very close to our hotel and would def recommend this place!

The food was terrific, music amazing, atmosphere was fun. All the food and drinks are reasonably priced and we had drinks and food for a family of 3 for under $90. Juan, our server put the evening over the top!! He was fantastic!!

We visited this restaurant, recommended by our hotel. Wish we hadn’t, we got sat down straight away by the front host who was very pleasant made a fuss of our little girl. Then we sat down, waitress came over we asked what dishes can be accommodated to suit children. She pointed out the salads which come in small and large sizes. What child eats salad?!!! Anyway she then took our drinks order, which then turned up wrong. Pizza was good, but as we finished our meal. There is a area for children draw with chalk on a black board to keep them entertained. Our little girl was quite happy drawing on the board, when 2 brat little boys came over and threw chalk in her face! Parents were taking any blind bit of notice, our daughter was quite hurt so we had to leave very abruptly. Overall... food was ok. Atmosphere was awful. Staff and Service dreadful. Recommendation... get takeout!! not worth paying to sit in this establishment.

Each year when we are in the Hampton Inn Brickell down the street we ensure we stop for pizza at Piola. Great thin crust NYC/Northern Italy type pizza that we love. Great staff, always friendly and attentive. We went twice on this visit before our cruise. Monday-Thursday they have a great dinner special that if there from 4-5 for dinner all pizza's are $6. 5-6PM $7. etc. Great deal for fantastic pizza! Also great liter of house wine for $24.95.

The menu would be hard to determine if you weren't an Italian. The Pizza is enough to feed at least two people. The ingredients tasted fresh and the cheeses were spectacular! Next time I will have to try the Nutella Pizza as I was too full to get one after I had the amazing Calzone.
Best Italian ever
This place was amazing you could sit at the bar and they would constantly refill your drink and bring you complimentary food through happy hour. Highly recommend the gnocchi!!!!! And if you get lucky enough to get Jessie as your bartender, you’re in for a treat!
