The food was good and the prices were reasonable for the touristy location in San Francisco. Our issue was with the service. The waitress spent vast amounts of time on her cell phone texting in full view of customers. Only returned to check on us if flagged down. The owner needs to take immediate action with the waitstaff to make sure customers receive passable service.

Had the house combo pizza and both my wife and I agree that this was the best pizza we have ever had. ! Can't recommend this enough, set the bar quite high for future pizzas. Good job đ guys

The atmosphere of this place leaves a lot to be desired. Not at all fancy or even that nice, but: The pizza is good quality. Made fresh after you order it. Tastes MUCH better than other low priced chain restaurants. Would definitely recommend it if you want good pizza at a fair price and don't care about the seating area.

Best Pizza đ in Fisherman's wharf. They are very friendly/ flexible especially with multi topping same pizza orders.

While walking down near Ghirardelli Square, my 8yr old son was in the mood for a slice of pizza, so of course, I whip out my phone and start searching for pizza. We weren't looking for a full sit down place, just a spot where we could quickly get some pizza. Thankfully, Pizza Zone popped up and we made our way there. This place is exactly what we were looking for. We popped in, the Asian man behind the counter took our order, and since there were four of us, we ordered a full pie, half cheese, half pepperoni. There's a small amount of tables inside, which were all full, so we sat outside, as the temperature was mild. When the pizza was ready, the man brought it out to us outside, along with plates & napkins. The pizza was VERY hot, so I was worried the cheese would burn my kids' mouths, so we fanned it a bit and cooled it down. To our surprise, the pizza was good and exactly what my son was in the mood for. In terms of how I felt about it, we're from Long Island, which I consider the pizza mecca of the planet, so it's hard to compare, BUT, the pizza here did hit the spot after walking around the wharf area and visiting the aquarium. My son was happy and that, after all, was the goal.

Great pizza, freshly made right in front of you. Friendly staff too. This is definitely more of a fast food option but is very tasty and well priced.

On vacation in San Francisco and after several days of sea food, had a hankering for pizza. Pizza Zone was 2 blocks from hotel, not crowded, and served wonderful pizza by the slice even at 9:00 at night on a Monday. Highly recommend.

Excellent pizzas, very friendly staff and a nice rustic stop for a slice of đ đ€© It is well located to many hotels and a short walk to fishermanâs wharf.

Great wee place - just around the corner from holiday inn express where weâre staying. Fresh, hot and tasty. Even have us paper plates and napkins to take back to the hotel. Solid option.

Pizza by the slice or a whole. We got plain cheese by the slice and I thought it was excellent. A thin bottom crust with a thick edge.

You can pay per slice, so you have to option to try different pizza in one time. Price was good and the taste as well.

Pizza was good. Price reasonable. Guy in the restaurant seemed friendly. Atmosphere very basic. Beware the 3.9% card charge, that's ridiculous.

Having lived in Europe for three years I have gotten used to the different style of thin crusty pizza instead of the thick and doughy style that is more common in America. This place sort of settles somewhere in the middle of the Atlantic and it was perfect for me. I had lunch there with a classmate and ordered a small pizza and it was more than enough for me. The service was great and I actually stopped by later on my own for dinner one evening.

I have to admit our first impressions of this place weren't great it a very simple setup with a few chairs and tables. The pizza was excellent and well worth a try!

I ate lunch at the Pizza Zone in February 2019 during my visit to San Francisco. It is located near Ghirardelli Square and Fisherman's Wharf. I had one slice of mushroom pizza. It was delicious. Quick, filling and cheap.

This place was recommended by the staff at Blazing Saddles. Pizza was cooked while we waited, was very tasty. We had a 16" that cost around just under $30, but managed to feed two adults and a child.

Good pizza ,good value, excellent service reasonable prices. Vegetarian pizza was very good, portions are huge. Do not order too much.

We grabbed slices of pizza here a couple of times as were staying across the street at the Courtyard. The pepperoni pizza was really good...greasy...but good...with a crispy crust. The sausage pizza was HORRIBLE! It was like they took the sausage out of the freezer...with freezer burn and then microwaved it.

We arrived late in Frisco and was looking for a meal. While walking about we found this Pizza place on our GPS. I phoned in advance to ask if there were pizza slices ready for purchase, as we didn't want to wait. I was told yes...but guess what...not. We ordered a cheese pesto pizza anyway and waited about 20 minutes. The food hit the spot and we were down for the count. It was kind of the worker to stay open for us (as they were closing in 15 min before we arrived). We enjoyed the pizza and would visit again if in the area.

Didn't look much from outside and only one person was eating but we were looking for a reasonably priced meal for our family. Pizza was actually really nice, large size fed two adults and two kids with a slice left over. Service friendly would definitely go again.

We were Hungry and this place was right next to the hotel. Service was minimal, wings were plain and the salad was super small. All in all it was OK, but too many fantastic places to eat in SF, we won't go back again.

Stopped in for a quick bite for lunch. What a great surprise find. Pie is cooked when you order, slice is large and hot. Recommend Pizza Zone for a good pie.

We asked the valet at our hotel where he would go for pizza and this is what he recommended. And we are glad. We had the meat lovers pizza with some added toppings and it was very, very good. We were glad we were sent there. The garden salad was great too. It tasted fresh and the ranch dressing was great too.

We visited here and had a large pizza to share and it was a good thing we did it this way as it was absolutely huge! We both have reasonable appetites but we struggled to finish it. The pizza had loads of tasty topping and was cooked perfectly. It's in a very handy location and the prices are good as well. Perfect if you want a cheap, quick and tasty meal.

If you are looking for five star dining, go elsewhere. This is very basic honest dining with huge slices of pizza for a very low price. Cheap and cheerful.

Enjoying forced family fun need pizza to complete Good location close to my hotel walked there They cooked it right then ten minutes in and out And on my way

nothing special but a great slice of pizza and the old asain dudes cool nice just a corner nyc style pizza place

We arrived at our hotel at Fisherman's Wharf late, after 11pm on a Sat night, and we needed something to eat. We decided to try to NY style pizza here, since we can't get that at home. We thoroughly enjoyed the pizza slices, which are *almost* authentic NY style, and the place had a great deal of character. If you're looking for white tablecloths, this is not that, but for a late night pizza slice with some local color, it was perfect.

Delicious pizza, great service and lovely man behind the counter. Pizza one of the nicest weâve had and a great size for the price.

Did have two pizza's quite late as a quick snack. Service was good but the pizza was close to bad. Especially when you compare with other nearby "pizza's". Two small pizza, one water, one beer 43 USD. Cheap?

Super pizza place!! Donât be fooled by the slightly scruffy decor, this is a great pizza place with a very clean counter. Guy was super nice and nothing was too much trouble. Note when ordering a full pizza you pay extra per topping as prices shown are cheese onlyâŠ.

The Pizza Zone makes good pizza, quickly. But don't expect white table cloths or even the offer of water. Bottles of beer and one wine choice are on display for you to make your choice. The prices and pizza sizes are displayed above the oven.

After a long day of sightseeing in Frisco, we looked for a pizzeria near the hotel. We chose the pizza zone, the place is rather small, with a manageable menu, the pizza we ordered was delicious and at a fair price.

We stopped here many times throughout the week and enjoyed various slices of pizza. We had plenty of choices and they were all tasty and we didnât have to wait.

We ate here on our last night in San Fran and the pizza was delish! I'm a pizza lover and really picky on how pizza tastes and this place did not disappoint! The food and service were superb and I enjoyed a glass of wine and coke with my meal! Highly recommend if you're pizza lover!

The place is convenient for a quick snack. The prices were cheap for S.F. standards. The owner was friendly.

Where to find a good take-out pizza in San Francisco? At Pizza Zone. It doesn't look like much but the XL pizza was very good (better than opposite which claims to be the best in SF...). And a sure sign: we came across a few locals passing by to buy a piece of pizza before heading home.

Found this place by accident . Place was packed with locals and the pizza looked great . Staff really friendly and pizza tasted as good as it looked . If you are after a casual meal away from the tourist traps itâs a great choice .

We stayed across the street and the Courtyard for four days and popped in a couple of times for lunch. It is reminiscent of NY pizza places. The slices are excellent and reasonably priced. Yes, you do have to pay an up charge for a credit card but that isnât uncommon in SF. It is definitely a great place for a quick, delicious meal.

Great pizza! Decent prices! Small place. Only 4 tables inside and 3 outside. Friendly. We would eat there again. Close to the Marriott

This is a small pizzeria that has about four tables. They make a variety of pizzas and sandwiches. You can buy large single slice or full pizzas. I ordered a cheese pizza as a carryout. It was very good.

Okay, the main reason why I was here was because it was used for filming the Room, Tommy Wiseau's face is on the side of the building, and the rumour that he owns this place. This brought me great delight. BUT, to be objective, the pizza was hot and fresh, but dripping with grease. I found it to be pricey for $4 a slice. Anyway, I hope Tommy still owns it because I hope the proceeds from my slice is going to him directly.

Great little place for a hangover slice or a drunken night out slice! Fresh dough, I saw them making it. $3.99 for a massive slice. Great value.

Worst Pizza I ever ate. The staff is simply terrible, the pizza too. To expansive for that quality. Iâll never come back again.

My wife and I were staying at the Holiday Inn at Fisherman's wharf and walked to this pizza joint which was just behind the hotel. We both had a late lunch and wanted something quick and simply for a late dinner. A few slices of pizza and some root beer did the trick. You can buy pizza by the slice (New York style), and they are pretty big. The owner was very friendly. Definitely, a good place for a quick slice of pizza pie.

Good pizza. We ordered small pizzas and shared. We enjoyed sitting around visiting. Service was quick and efficient. Loved the meat and more pizza!

Ambiance falls short, but the quality of the pizza is pretty good for this tourist area. Sold by the slice as well as by the pie. First impressions the crust hold up to the New York Fold, allowing you to bit the first bite that holds its shape and not fall. Nice firm crisp crust with soft center cooked in authentic pizza oven. Service was fast and friendly.

This eatery is just a block off the waterfront right behind the Holiday Inn. It is great for a quick slice, and is priced decently. The staff is friendly, but the seating is sparse. You can buy a slice or the whole pie, and it is fresh, which is the most important thing of all.

Quick and cheap. Homeless man lived in boxes outside the window. Good conversation starter with the kids.

Located just off the main tourist drag is this non-touristy pizzeria. With normal prices and generous portions, I enjoyed the $8.99 lunch special - pizza slice, salad and a fountain drink. Pizza was tasty and fresh. Salad was made to order. Nice man running the shop. Seems to do a good lunch business for a nearby school.

Grateful for the trip advisor reviews, my daughter and me were able to enjoy an excellent pepperoni pizza. We liked the dedication of the cooker to make it. If you are looking for a great pizza in a non fancy place, this is the one to go!!

Not gourmet pizza but good taste, generous portions and a large menu. Friendly staff and fast service.

Was delicious. We went today before going to our go cart experience and we had a medium size pepperoni and mushroom pizza for me and my husband and we both agree that was an excellent choice. Razonable price 10/10

OK. There's really only one way to do this Fisherman's Wharf pizza joint. Order a whole pizza, the size your party can handle, grab or share a table, and enjoy. There are other items on the menu but, by far, whole pies are the best sellers. Add your own toppings or select one of their pre-designed. Yes, slices are available. But they're just slices already cut and then toppings are added. Better to have the toppings baked in.

Pizza was expensive one slice for around 9 bucks. When I visited place was high of homeless people walk with someone. Kids described as thin, crispy, not too sweet crust, pepperoni good, and cheese just right.

Tasteless pizza w too much cheese. This chef should learn that less is more. Dough was too thick and no crust. Better places to be found in the neighbourhood.

Walk one block from fishermanâs wharf follow your nose youâll smell the pizza zone cold beer great sites close to the action reasonable prices hot cheesy pizza awaits.

The pizzas here are awesome and tastes are also very good. You'll always come back and would love it.

Ordered a triple meat pizza. Got given one with no meat and three vegetable toppings I don't like. Got charged gratuity automatically without any option of the amount.

Pizza was verrrryyy yummy. Cute little place to eat. Sorta crammed, but nice. There was a giant refrigerator behind us the whole time we ate which wasn't the nicest thing, but the food is delicious!!!

pick up dinner pizza was nothing special charge us for the box to carry out our pizza 2 slices that to me was ridiculous

Worst pizza I ever had, $4 bucks for just a slice, if you get a drink you have to pay $1 for a refill, and the place is just dirty ... the trash can didn't even have a bag.. I threw the pizza out after a couple of bites

We stayed at the Courtyard across the street and were looking for a snack one night. The gentleman working was sooo polite and friendly and the pizza was fantastic! It was ready quickly, very good-sized for the price......we ended up eating the whole thing in one sitting. Highly recommend!

Having just returned from a long day of sightseeing and feeling fairly tired and in need of food I stumbled upon Pizza zone and ordered a small cheese pizza. The service was quick and great. The pizza was made right in front of me. I was highly impressed with everything about this pizza from presentation to the taste. If this wasn't my last night in San Francisco I would definitely have had another pizza from this place! Very underrated place! Highly recommended!

Fast service and the pizza and wings were actually good. Pretty much a take out service although there are a few tables.

Everything is terrible here, the staff, the quality, the taste and the price!! I will never go there again
Great wings
Pizza was good. It's sold by the slice or you can order a full pizza. Wings were above average and very meaty. Good place for a quick bite. Limited seating.
