Good pizza

By Jenny M |

Stopped here for pizza with the family at lunchtime. No table service which seemed a little odd. But the pizza was really good. Thin crust, well topped with quality sausage, mushrooms, olives, and peppers. Nothing terribly awesome but good.

Sliced Supreme

By Jon L |

Nice crispy crust and a great combination of standard toppings. Slices range from $3.25-$3.75. I like that they have real plates and flatware. Good beer selection makes it worth stopping in for a quick evening snack.

Excellent Pizza

By Richard E |

This pizza here is fantastic. The tastes and sauces are perfect. The pepperoni is perfect on the pizza here! The Crust is thin and crispy. Perfect pizza!

Meh

By Amy R |

One time I got a pizza here and the crust tasted like cardboard. I wish it was better since I live next door to one. I guess I have to make dinner :(

Excellent Pizza

We got our pizza to go. Excellent. Lots of pepperoni. Crust just right=not too thin, not too thick. Fairly priced.

Great East Coast Pizza (on the West Coast!)

By Barbara G |

As long as you tell them specifically that you want red sauce added to your pie, you will get a really nice pie. I particularly recommend the wild mushroom pie, but they're all good. My son-in-law really likes their sausage pies. To complement the pie, get either the spinach, pear, goat cheese and candied pecan salad or, my favorite, the chopped Asian salad with crunchy cabbage. Top it all off with a variety of seasonal Oregon beers.

Great By the Slice Pizza

By Larry P |

Most pizza places by college campuses are not anything to "write home about," but Pizzacato is an exception! The pizza slices are not baked until they are ordered, so they do not dry out under the warming lights. The crust was quite nice--not too thick and doughy as if often the case. We also split a large salad which had many wonderful greens.

A Must!

By Claudia H |

Pizzacato is consistently wonderful. When my family comes to visit, it is not complete unless we have Pizzacato. By the slice or the whole pie. Eat in-at the Division location you can eat on the patio in nice weather-take out-or delivery. They have local selection of beer on tap, wine by the glass or bottle. Lets talk Salad! Fresh ingredients and tasty combos and their balsamic dressing is perfect. We like the Very Vegie pizza with Italian sausage added and also the seasonal offerings that change monthly.

Gourmet pizza at its best

By BigBill65 |

Stopped in yesterday evening at the Division street restaurant due to standstill on freeway. First thing I noticed, the place was very busy, lots of folks. A good sign that the neighborhood digs the food and atmosphere. Staff was friendly and professional. I noticed one staff member named Darah was very outgoing and efficient. She was taking care of a customer who had received an order in error. She took care of him right away, no questions asked. All staff were kept busy. My wife had an Arugula Pear salad that she said was excellent, with candied walnuts and blue cheese. I ordered the famous Quatro Formaggio, four-cheese pizza with sausage and mushrooms on it. The cheese just melts in your mouth! So delicious! We grabbed a big box to go, as the giant pizza is huge. They also serve many types of micro brews and wine. They have a dinner special , a slice of pizza and a pint of brew for $6.95. A great deal. Check it out!

Delicious Gluten Free Pizzas

By Travel09626605085 |

I contacted them in advance about gluten-free pizzas, and I had an answer in no time. They were present. It was a delicious base with the ingredients on it, the regular pizzas had a homemade base with the ingredients in it. Friendly service, beautiful view over the harbour.

Great Pizza in A Lovely Setting

By lfiebert |

A large selection of fresh salads and pizzas, whole pies in various sizes, slices with side salads and even a few choices of wine. The four people in our party were all pleased with their pizzas and salads. Overall we had a very pleasant lunch with friends in an enjoyable setting.

Best pizza delivery in NW Portland!

By Christine V |

Holy crust batman! We had Pizzacato delivered to a weekend workshop. Yes, weekend- yes work. This pizza lifted our spirits for sure! The sausage with roasted peppers and onions was so flippin sweet! Salads were also great...

Reliable decent pizza - in this New Yorker's opinion

By DougcpW |

This is one of neighborhood pizza joints near my house. Originally a New Yorker and Pizza lover, I'm pretty picky. This family owned local chain serves up pretty good pizza and nice salads. Crusts are reasonably thin and crispy, and preparation is reliably good. If your in PDC and hankering for some pizza, this is a decent choice.

Delicious Pizza!

By Khahn H |

We Love Pizzacato! We tend to get the Molto carne and the thai chicken. But they are all good They also make really good salads and their slice selection is really good as well

Excellent Pizza Period

By mambokings |

Look when you want to eat Pizza, you want the Pizza not to be thick, lumpy, or overdone. You are guaranteed to get a great pizza every time here - the crust is fantastic, it is thin and has enough of a base that it does not flop. They have some pizzas without the mandatory red pizza sauce and they have the regular ones like Margherita and Pepperoni. And if you come at the right time you can get a Pizza slice and Brew deal which is hard to beat, especially with the three to four draft varieties they have. They also make a mean greek salad, which is pricey. However, these guys working there are always smiling and happy to get you the best pizzas. Definitely the place to beat in Portland. Go there and you won't be disappointed. If you go at times when there are no deals (most deals are after 2PM) then it might get a little pricey. But definetly worth it.

REVIEW FOR THE NW 23rd location

By Carl R |

3.50 a slice and worth every penny. I had a veggie something or other and he had the meaty kind. I know this is a small chain but in a town full of pizza joints, this one really stands out. The crust was absolutely right. The perfect thickness, definitely NOT Chicago style. We have found our 'go-to' pizza. Recommended.

Great food, price, and service

By MidwestPhotog |

I stopped in for lunch. A large slice of homemade pizza with Sopristo ham and peppers and an arugula salad with candied pecans, goat cheese and sliced green apple w/creamny vinaigrette for $7. Oh myyy. This ended up being one of the best-tasting meals I had all week. Very nice guy working the counter and excellent design to find your way around to clear your dishes.

Used to be good

By Candice C |

Ordered from the BVT HIllsdale store and it took over 10 minutes to even get through on the phone to place the order. Took a long time to get the pizza, they were obviously busy and it's a tiny store, but 2 pizzas were $56! And mediocre. So won't be going back. They used to have a really good product, but I have been away from Portland for a few years, so don't know what happened.

Yum yum yum

This is a great hidden gem in SE PDX. Can't wait to go back! Had a small Canadian bacon only pizza. The staff was very friendly and polite! The pizza took a little while to cook (it was a Saturday night), if you get a pre made slice they just heat it up and bring it to you. I say the made to order pizza was worth the wait! Yum yum yum! I was so excited to eat, I forgot to take pictures of the pie and there was none left!

Delicious!

Some of the best flavored pepperoni pizza I've tasted! Canadian Bacon sized slices and delicious sauce. Gluten free garlic slice was also delish.

Great pizza crust, and salads

By QSLqsl |

Our party of six had pizza and spinach salads. Crust is to die for, thin and crunchy - not too much cheese and a nice tomato taste. Salads were very fresh and clean.

Literally the best!

By Amanda O |

I have been there 4 times in the last 3 weeks! It is literally the best! It can be a little pricy to order a whole pizza, but if you order a slice and a salad, you will never find a better deal! Gotta try it!

Good slice and salad!

So good, relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff. I always like the kale salad. Try the special slice. Today was brocolini with sausage and hazelnut.

Hands Down Best Crust in Portland

By celestewest10s |

If you like a crunchy crust that’s soft on the inside, with a dough that’s not soggy on the bottom, this pizza is worth a try. Excellent sauce, cheese and toppings. So good right out of the oven and worth the wait. Our go to place is on Bybee in Sellwood. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile to make your dining experience as pleasant as they can. Great Beer and wine choices, as well as juices and sodas. Salads are really fresh and worth it. Our go to is the Greek salad, but the pear salad is a close second. You can’t go wrong and don’t forget to check their specials of the day.

Best Pizza and salad in the Portland Metro area.

By Steve B |

We use the Cornell Road West side Pizzacato most often, and it is outstanding. Not much space to sit in that location so we usually do take-out. Don't go here if you are afraid of garlic. Two pizzas with lamb sausage on them, Squista and Al Greco, have a distinctive meat flavor that is above and beyond. Veg pizzas including Wild Mushroom and Puttanesca are favorites for our veg crowd. Try the Thai Chicken with peanut sauce if you want something very different. The Ceasar, house, and Greek salads are wonderful.

Pizzacato Gourmet Pizza

By Alan F |

My daughter and grand daughter loved this place because they need gluten free meals and this place hit the spot. The pizza was very delicious and everyone enjoyed their meal.

Slow service, good pizza

By LollyB4 |

We sat outside which was nice though heads up there is a lot of traffic going by. Dogs welcome on patio. Pizza was pretty good, loved the crust.

Not your average pizza place

By sallynelson123 |

Loved the panini--so delicious! Pizza was great, too! They had a local hard cider and two Oregon beers on tap--which was a surprise! Totally enjoyed the food...and the cook and the gentleman at the counter--two great guys!

What's with the attitude Pizzacato?

By Michael N |

I lived in Portland years ago when Pizzacato first opened and I loved it. The artisan pizza was a fairly new idea and the restaurant did them great and there was a start up enthusiasm that was palpable. Needless to say it is now a mature restaurant, but I was disappointed in the attitude my family recently received on a trip back to Portland. My wife admits she probably mistakenly said "large", but meant "medium" and didn't catch it before her card was charged. The young man at the cash register was actually great about it. He was new though, and said he'd have to ask for help. Someone we had to assume was the manager came over and with all the sighing and fussing and rudeness, you'd think we were holding his family hostage in our basement. As if this sort of thing has never happened before. In the end it took forever to get our pizza and it was not hot. I'll give the restaurant the benefit of the doubt the pizza is still generally great, but for us, the bloom is definitely off the pizza in the Rose City.

Everyone in the family wants to eat here

By Emptynesters20142014 |

They really have something everyone likes. Fantastic pizza with fresh choices on top, unique combinations. Not just a pile of cheese. I can even add roasted garlic on my half. Their salads are made to share they are so big. Usually a nice beer on tap. Always enjoy lunch or dinner here.

Fresh artichoke hearts for lovers

By PickyBaer |

Dinner was going to be late. We had gotten hung-up with a meeting... so on the way home we slid into Pizzacato for a slice or two. The alternatives to the same old pepperoni are great. Being able to get it by the slice is perfect.

Salad lovely bonus with great fresh slice

By B V |

Staff have great attitude, served me the lunch pizza & slice a few minutes AFTER 4. Fresh crisp arugula and candied walnuts toasted crumbled blue lightly dressed, generous serve with hot crisp slice hit the mark for me, free fast WiFi, all served up for sidewalk dining on Burnside & 28th, pizza a to pdx earns top marks, would return to try more menu items

Inconsistent, overpriced, uncaring

By Chuck&Susan |

After years in business, they seem to have basically given up on quality while jacking up the prices. There is far better pizza in Portland (Dov Vivi and 50/50s are just two that come to mind) to bother with this dreck. Move on and do yourself a favor. They just don't care about what they are putting out anymore at this chain.

Pizza and salad

By mal p |

I had the Caesar salad with chicken. My family had pepperoni & cheese pizza. The Caesar was great. A touch of garlic heaven, light sauce and flavorful croutons. A little too much parm for my taste and not enough croutons but delicious. The pizza has a nice thin but not too thin crust. A little crunch and a little soft. My son that normally leaves the crust ate it and asked for more. Large Costco size slices for by the slice purchases. Large pepperoni slices that are not too oily (the reason I don't care for pepperoni.) My family loved it and asked when we'd be back! I'd say overall, this was an awesome spur of the moment stop.

Bomb salads!

Great pizza, great salads, great drink. Well priced, Plus has a happy hour 3-6 if I'm not mistaken. Love the Chinese chopped salad. Delicious :)

Great sidewalk eatery

By Sheree |

Delicious thin crust pizza and warm artichoke and spinach dip with flatbread. We were headed to the food trucks, but wanted to have a little sitdown. This place did not disappoint with its quaint cafe tables and delicious food. Buy the pizza by the slice or the pie.
