Went here for dinner. Before 5 they have $6 Margarita pizza. Very tasty and also a $2 Olympia beer. Delicious pizza, cute atmosphere. Walk from house.

Welcoming staff and a clear view of their wood fire pizza oven makes for an inviting atmosphere. The margarita pizza is delicious—and at $6.00 a pop during happy hour— it makes for a happy family. We bought a pie for each family member, ate our fill, and wrapped up leftovers to enjoy for the next couple of days, with hardly a dent in our wallet. I highly recommend!

I find this one of the best tasting pies in town. I love the spicy pepperoni or Margaretta. Excellent pizza, excellent service. Go early as limited seating

We loved it when Otto's opened up in the neighborhood. Surrounded by creepy thrift stores, dated bars and subpar eateries, the 'hood needed a trendy spot. Put together by their very own hands, the owners shared that this was a long time dream of theirs - making and serving wood fired pizza. The setting is great - very welcoming, albeit a little small. There are no liquor options - but a great new bar down the street for that. My only problems with Ottos are the ridiculous hours (5-9pm weekdays; slightly longer on weekends). It seems that it is never open when I crave a pizza (say, for lunch or after the bar at 10:30). Their sauce is also very bland and needs revision. I suggest they add 2-3 more options for sauces along with their menu. The pizza is good overall - but caters solely to those that like the wood charred crispy crust. Service has always been great - and this place will go places - if they will work on the two things suggested above. Would highly recommend if youre craving a pizza - and they happen to be open ;)

This spot is about a mile from our home. We’ve probably probably eaten here less than half a dozen times pre-Covid. Pizzas always solid. Had a great wild mushroom and salami w/ honey pizza. Also seasonal roasted veggies. All was delicious! Quality ingredients on both pizzas. Only problem- a bit late on pick up time, and automatic tip of 15% 😕 Overall~I’d say if you want Neapolitan pizza, this is it!

Buyer beware, These guys have the right idea but need to get there sh@t together on customer service. Order a meal online and be told no matter the order that it will be one hour before it’s ready to pick up. Show up an hour later and be told your pizzas not even in the oven yet……really??? You think I ordered ahead so I can sit around your restaurant for another 15 minutes? Happened all three times I ordered online. The attitude of the gal at the front counter is very “I don’t give a crap’ The pizza isn’t worth the BS imho. Any food cart pizza would be on par or better. Won’t be back.

My daughter and I ordered pizza and salad. Because the place was packed, we ordered it to go. While we were waiting, some tables opened up so we grabbed one. The staff didn't mind in the least that we changed our minds. The wait staff was very attentive and the food was so good; exceeded our expectations. When in Portland, give it a try.

We had the pizza special for the happy hour price and it was an amazing deal! You can't beat a 12 inch pizza for $6!

Pizzeria Otto is my treasure pizza shop found in Oregon and is very satisfying from location to dining environment. The interior decor combines modern industrial style with warm wood elements, the atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable, and you can also watch the process of cooking pizza from close distance through an open kitchen. The pizza pie smells soft and delicate, the taste is delicate and perfect for the beauty of every pastry. Margaret pizza is a classic taste, combined with fresh rollers and cheesecakes, clean and untouched; while Hawaiian pizza is hard to see in the U.S., Phoenix sweet and legs salty taste intertwined, make one try unforgettable. In addition, their specially crafted pomegranate scent is unique, and although some friends have a more sensitive stomach after eating, it is a good place worth visiting many times. Whether for dinner with friends or family parties, Pizzeria Otto is a great choice!

The pizza here is amazing. Old fashioned, artisan, wood-fired pizza, with an assortment of traditional and creative Italian topping combinations. This pizza might not be for the seasoned pepperoni lover, but if you want to branch out, this is a great place to do it! The staff here is very friendly, and the atmosphere would be nice, with good lighting and a cozy, warm feeling emanating from the wood oven; unfortunately though, the place is small - which in itself is fine - but as soon as the restaurant opened they appeared to be a great success and so it feels very crowded. I never drive by and see it less than full. since there are few tables, most folks opt for take out, but that makes for an even less comfortable atmosphere, as there is no good place to wait, so it's a standing room only kind of gig. In anticipation of this, I had actually called ahead to order and was told "our pizza only takes 90 seconds to cook, so we don't do phone orders. just come on in." okay, no problem. except when I arrive (and there is literally a line out the door), I wait a good deal of time to order and then am told that it will be about 45 minutes before my pizza is ready. in reality it was 75. i heard staff tell someone they could just come back later to pick up - what is the difference between that and a phone order, really - it's just one less body waiting in the tiny space. This is not to say the staff is not working hard; they perform an apparently choreographed dance around each other working the dough into pizza, topping it, getting it in and out of the oven, and tossing salads in between - again, all in a tiny space; it's really quite impressive. I would recommend it to a friend who isn't that hungry yet; I probably won't be back until they take phone orders or have a larger space though. Give 'em a try - crowds and waiting for food bother me more than most people. :)

Portland now has real pizza. The crust is amazing. The meats they use have great taste and the mozzarella melts in your mouth. Love love love this place! Transported back to Italia.

Received via delivery service very soggy and undercooked crust. Would not recommend delivery and tell them when ordering to adequately cook the pizza. Very soggy underdone. Maybe only suitable for in restaurant eating.

We got a couple pizzas to go. They were pretty good. It's no Tutta Bella from Seattle, but good enough to be our new neighborhood pizza place since we moved. The dough isn't Neapolitano tasting at all but they got the char right in their brick oven. And their toppings are a good balanced combo. I do wish however the arugula wasn't so wilted by the time we bring it home (we didn't have that experience with Tutta Bella and back then we even had to drive further). But nontheless this place has potential and we were left satisfied in the end.

Pizza was spot on and service was great. Only downside was the salad which had all of the ingredients and flavor it needed (spinach, strawberries, pistachios, sprouts, balsamic dressing), it lacked size with literally about 15 pieces of spinach for a $10 salad. Not a good deal for the price and I would not order it again as a result.

Pizza Otto is a little expensive, but I enjoy its pizza quite often. The restaurant is a corner spot on Sandy in a strip of shops flanked either end by pizzerias. It's easy to spend $50 here with two drinks a salad and a couple of small pies. The crust in thin style, with tasty, fresh ingredients. Pizzeria Otto is also presently on postmates for delivery. One of my local favorites.

The flavor of our pizza was just alright, could have used more seasonings. I will say that I prefer my brick oven pizza to be crispy which this definitely was not.

The place is great, the atmosphere very Italian and the pizza is great! However they used a weird basil, I think its the Asian one that doesn’t taste a little weird. Please use normal basil and the pizza will be perfect, almost Neapolitan l! :))

To much sauce was used, the crust is soggy. The middle section of the pizza was like limp uncooked dough. Yes the crust had been cooked, but no overcoming to much sauce. I certainly did not get my request. Having made pizza's for years I do my way around making all styles of pies.

Dropped my son off at the airport and tried the 11-6 happy hour of $6 marg and $4 beers. Wow, great pizza, very nepo like. I wished for just a little more burnt on the crust as they do in italy but it didn't happen. I saw it on other pizzas so I know it was possible. Great service in such a humble place. Happy hour is great, but the also make great salads. Sauces is good, crust is very very good (a key piece my italian friends tell me. Not in a convenient place, but if you are close to the airport, this is worth your venture.

Total pizza addict and have pizza 2-3 times a week usually, that said, I also eat the typical traditional Pizza, this place blew my mind, the Heirloom Tomatoes, Speck, Arugala, Mozzarella, Tomato Aioli and Marguerita Pizza's were off the charts delicious! I will definitely be back!

This is the best pizza in town! For dessert we had the Nutella calzone with berries And ricotta local honey, cocoa and powdered sugar. Not only the pizza is amazing the dessert was great to share!

I'm from south Alabama, Have a few pizza places here that I visit, but none are. Better than Otto I really love there sause. You can taste the fresh tomato in it. Also the enjoyed the taste of the crust too. If I make it back to Portland , I will definitely visiting Otto

As the 2nd best pie shop I’ve found here in Portland (no shame in coming in second to Apizza Scholls), I recommend the pepperoni, sausage, and mushroom...staff are friendly, efficient, and they put out a consistently delicious pizza. Because it’s in Multnomah County, they are not yet open for seated dining, but pickup is timely and the employees retain their positive demeanors despite corona virus limitations.

The service here was great. I loved the environment including trivia pursuit on every table and sidewalk chalk outside. The pizza was great and the have a lot of local drink options. It is a tad on the pricey side but it is high quality food and service.

Hands down the best pizza in Portland. This is the only place in Portland that you will have pizza that you would get in Italy. This is the real deal. Great salads and excellent beer/wine selection.

Tight. Funky. Friendly. Such a great spot. Whenever I am in the PDX area, I have to visit. Good beers on tap, mushroom pizza, great music playing, super cool vibe from the workers. Parking is always available out front. Love it!!

Have driven by here many times so this time stopped in and would give it a try since we like to try new places. This is a small place but we were able to get a table. The service and staff was great. We shared a Cesar salad and my wife and friend thought it was the best one they have had in a long time. We ordered a Margarita pizza and a Pepperoni. I liked the Pepperoni over the Margarita, the Pepperoni had a good flavor, the Margarita was a little bland. Limited beer selection so went with wine which was very good. Will come back here again.

This pizzeria has great prices on their Margarita pizza from 11am-5pm, 9pm till closing. It is made from scratch and baked in a wood fired oven, so it comes out hot and very tasty. Seating is limited but worth the wait. We like to stop in around 3-4pm so the beer and wine are discounted.

Stopped in with about 25 people= that's about all they have room for, but they were great. It's a neighborhood staple and some of the best pizza in Portland. Staff was great and the food was wonderful.

Amazing Pizza, great beer and wine options. The $6 pizza happy hour is insane! We also had garlic bread and it was amazing. The atmosphere is pretty cool and relaxed. Did I mention how awesome the pizzas are?!!!!

From 11-5 they have beer and wine for $4.00... and that's nice, but the margherita pizza for $6.00 is out-of-this-world good. Chewy crust with just the right amount of char from the woodfired oven, a beautiful sauce, fresh mozzarella, and fresh basil. It would make your Italian grandmother proud. We also had the house Caesar salad, which was on point (especially when you add anchovies which is Italian MSG). Lemony, and enough garlic for most, but I really can't say what too much garlic would be. Good service, nice atmosphere, fantastic pizza. I'm going back soon.

Great wood-fired pizza is just $6 during Happy Hour (before 5 pm). Service is friendly and this cozy restaurant has hit the bullseye every time we've visited! Also, great draft microbrews at $4 during Happy Hour! Highly recommended!!

Overall a very good experience and would recommend it. We had a small salad ( huge ) to share and a margarita pizza with wild mushrooms. Both good choices. Next time we'll try the wild mushroom pizza ( no sauce ). Ask for truffle oil as it is a flavor enhancer. Pizza crust was very tasty. I would describe this a s a pretty typical Portland-ish eatery - not fancy, clean and very good food. Order at the bar. Food delivered to your table.

Great atmosphere and cozy place. The pizzas are fantastic and fairly priced. Pizzas are artisan crafted and made with fresh products. We ordered the Tomato pie. The pie included 6 large slices of pizza with fire roasted tomatoes, basil, garlic, and white truffle pecorino. Super tasty to say the least. Price for the pie is $15. The house wine was a blend of syrah for $5 / glass. Great for house wine ! Definitely a must try!

Great great pizza place- crispy crust on the outside, and melt in your mouth on the inside. Classic Italian. Nice chill atmosphere right in the neighborhood. Had the Hawaiian pizza and the shaved pineapple was a nice touch. One of the waiters even brought us over some nice olive oil & pepper olive oil to dip our crusts in. Both fantastic.

How do you judge a pizzeria? Friendly and competent service? Crust? Fresh toppings? Cool stuff on the walls? Cheese? Sauce? Greasiness? Well for this establishment, they get perfect marks in every category.
Great Neighborhood Pizza Place!
I searched a list of the top 10 pizza places in Portland, and this one looked nice, was not far from where we were staying, and I liked the menu. It turned out to be a great choice. A nice little neighborhood shop, there was a short line to wait to place our order. You order at the counter and then find a seat with your drinks and plates while they make your pies. The menu says pies serve 1 or 2. Better be really hungry! They easily serve two and could serve more if you are not that hungry. For the two of us, we got a Diavolo and a Wild Mushroom. Both were incredible. The toppings had so much flavor and the pies were lovely Neapolitan style crusts. Service was very nice, although as it got really busy things slowed down a bit. This wouldn't have been a problem if we hadn't ordered a Nutella Calzone for desert and asked them to bring it after we ate our pizza. No real problem, but it took quite a while to get the calzone out and we were pretty well stuffed and ready to go. I would say get your order all at once and let the Calzone cool a bit while you eat dinner anyway! Overall it was a wonderful dinner in a great neighborhood location. The leftover pizza was great for lunch the next day, too!
