Don't be fooled by the divey frontage of this restaurant

By Ethel L |

It looks like an old gas station, with a faded sign. It's in a quasi industrial area. The inside is clean, bright, and well kept up. It smells like home cooking, not old, greasy food. They serve breakfast and lunch from 7 am to 1 pm. and then they close. At the time we visited, we arrived a little after 8:30 am and the room was full, but not crowded. The service was fast and friendly.

Kinda a hidden gem!

By Brad R |

Isolated in an industrial area, it looks like a dive from the outside. Once inside, you think you have stumbled into a place that should be in a barrio. The people are all super nice and the food is very good. The pancakes are huge and heavy. People watching is a delight here as the clientele is a cross section of Las Vegas.

Great local restaurant!

By Holly S |

We loved it! We walked over from the Wyndham. Excellent food, service, and good prices. We split the Lumberjack which was a lot of food to share!

Best Breakfast in Vegas

By bkrpp |

Great hidden gem in Vegas. Breakfast was phenomenal, huge portions. Had pepper Jack breakfast platter, was an enormous amount of food. Service was beyond stellar, everyone works together. Close to Rio, Wyndham Desert Blue….worth the trip.

Nice breakfast spot

By agolddog |

Good breakfast & lunch spot just north of the Rio. Looks like an old gas station, just a few tables & booths. Good breakfast, good service, good price.

Excellent Food for years! Mom and Pop restaurant open for only breakfast and lunch

By Paul C |

Ive eaten here for years, the staff is always friendly, the food has ALWAYS been excellent, the cook makes sure you DONT go away hungry with generous portions....the prices are very reasonable, there are always a couple newspapers around to read while eating or waiting for food, the food...YUM! Chicken fried steak, omelets, skillet breakfast, burgers, they make it all very good! I highly recommend this place for a quick casual breakfast or lunch. You wont be dissappointed!

Best breakfast in Vegas

By Beryl F |

A great breakfast in what looks like a small truckers cafe. Food is fantastic quality and is a nice break from the excesses of Vegas.

Happy we stopped

By Mary Jane S |

Needing lunch without any fuss, we stopped here even though it looks like a former gas station. Utility trucks in the lot suggested it is popular with working guys, and we could understand why. Food is good. Staff is attentive and efficient, selections cover all the basics, prices are amazing. We ate every bite.

BEST KEPT SECRET IN VEGAS! 5 stars for food quality , service and value!!!

By Guernsey Girl |

I cannot rate this place highly enough!!! Do not be fooled by the very unassuming exterior….. I had read the reviews before coming, but was still blown away by the warm greeting as we walked through the door, the most attentive service with a smile and then the breakfast that left us with our mouths wide open!!! My word, I have never seen pancakes so big!! Easily 12 inches, or plate sized each one! And we had 3 plus a whole breakfast to eat!!! This is no “greasy spoon”. The hash browns were to die for, bottomless coffee for $3 each. I will recommend this place to anyone who tells me they are going to Vegas. Thanks for looking after us this morning team, from the family who live in the little island off the UK xxx. BEST KEPT SECRET IN VEGAS

Awesome Eats

By JohnJez |

We had an AWESOME breakfast here on our trip to Vegas! Food was prepared perfectly. I had Biscuits & gravy, it was as good as any I've had. We also ordered to-go burrito's as we were going to be on the road for a while and they were delicious! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. A little out of the way from all the action, but worth the trip.

Great food, service and value

By Jack N |

Went to find a traditional style diner off the strip and ended up at this place. We were not disappointed had an avocado skillet which was fantastic. Portion size was excellent and the service from the staff was fast and friendly. Will definitely try to visit again. Highly recommended.

Back street hole-in-the-wall place you might not consider from the outside.

By CharlesS916 |

Was looking for a breakfast that was not overpriced casino food. This place really fit the bill. Not far from the Rio on a back street the sign advertises breakfast and lunch. This is definitely a locals place with a staff of hard-working people who depend on repeat business from loyal customers. The service was cordial and friendly, the food was well prepared and very good, and the price was very reasonable. If you are looking for an out of the way place to have a good meal, I recommend the Polaris Street Cafe.

The best food to find are the places not out in the open

By Mz. Nonya |

I searched on Grubhub for a delivery. This was the first one on the search...so we wound up taking an Uber from our hotel. After a few turns, we had arrived and got out. Kinda thought we were lost because it seemed like a car repair shop from the first sights of it. Well, I tell you the best mechanics work here if you still think it’s a car shop. The food was WONDERFUL!!! The servers were very assertive and an awesome wait staff. We are already planning our trip Back and this place will definitely be on the list again for breakfast. My mother and sister enjoyed themselves. This was all around awesome with guaranteed visits back

Warm, inviting, and family

By ldnj2 |

My partner and I walked to Polaris. The atmosphere was like walking in mammas house. They get right to you. The service was great. There was just something about the place that was warm and friendly. I will go back. The food exactly the warm fuzzy food I used to have momma cook. Nothing stupid just great food.

This restaurant is special...

By ed f |

Love, love, love this local friendly restaurant which serves fresh, soul food made. Staff are super friendly and the food is delicious. Great value too. Highly recommend!!

Great local place for Breakfast

By sayhi2u |

The Polaris street Cafe is a small local restaurant with a good breakfast menu. Food was excellent, well prepared and tasty. Small out of the way place with a big flavor town breakfast meal. Hash browns were hot and crispy, eggs were cooked to order and bacon was delicious. Coffee was good and sough dough bread was great with butter and jam. If your looking for a great breakfast at a reasonable price Polaris Cafe is the place.

Very Disappointing!

By DayTrip01020956069 |

We found this place by accident a number of years ago and was really delighted with it. Tried to go this morning and someone took our drink order. 10 minutes later, still no drinks nor had anyone taken our order. In the meantime, others came and were getting service so ended up walking out. Very disappointing and will now tell people NOT to go to this place after telling dozens of people how terrific it was!

Don't judge a book by it's cover!

By Laurel513 |

We were looking for a place to grab breakfast near Area 15. If I hadn't known to look for it, I might have missed this hidden gem. Delicious breakfast, fast service, friendly staff. We had Chicken Fried Steak breakfast and the Huevos Rancheros. Generous portions and great flavors.

Made it a point to come back here for fresh food and great service

By Mary Jane S |

Visiting family in Vegas a few years ago, we had a delicious meal here and put it into the plan for this recent trip. Very unassuming on the outside, this little gem offers delicious food, friendly service and a very pleasant, low-key atmosphere. Everyone smiles and acts as if you are his personal guest. I had an omelet (melt-in-your-mouth whipped eggs) with chorizio, flavorful and thoroughly grilled onions/peppers, cheese, hash browns and a tortilla. My husband's club sandwich was enormous and also delicious with really good skinny fries. The servers pay attention regardless whose table you're occupying; my coffee was filled with careful attention, our dishes cleared with a smile. Total bill was such a nice surprise. The other patrons are obviously local (some first responders, construction workers, casual-attire business people), and I'd guess it's a favorite spot for them, too. Bathroom was very clean, by the way - my litmus test.

Breakfast spot

By Travelalldtime |

My husband and I decided to try the Polaris Street Cafe while in Vegas for lunch. The building looks like a gas station...dont let that fool you. The inside is cool, a regular cafe. The food was decent and the service was good. We will come back when in town again.

1st time here & will be back

By briteyes678 |

I was invited to participate as a volunteer when Restaurant Impossible was going to film; however due to the limited capacity in Nevada at the time, I was unable to attend. I saw the episode & still wanted to check out out while I was in town. The service was great & the food was impeccable and filling. The owner is very kind & professional, interesting work staff & customers. I look forward to going again, when I'm back in town.

Good breakfast and service for a "reasonable" price

By Nicole T |

4.25 stars. Compared to every place else we ate breakfast this place was half the cost and the food was equal/superior to every place else. We had set out to go to Mr Mama's (our fave Vegas breakfast) but there was a crowd of about 40 people waiting to get in. So we headed for Blueberry Hill, 30 people waiting there. Looked up breakfast places near me and found this place. Had to laugh when we got there because we could see our hotel across 15 (we drove all over to end up at a place a mile from our hotel). My husband's skillet was very good. My French toast was good. Coffee was pretty good. Service was very friendly and fast, mostly efficient (did forget to bring his drink refill). Overall...skip the spendy strip breakfast and just go here every day. Trust me...I've had every ones breakfast on the strip and this is the best breakfast for the money in Vegas.

Great breakfast

By KathyJed |

Wow! Great breakfast place near Rio and Desert Blue. Carne asada skillet was huge, and the corned hash great. Really good value for your money, too!

Appearance is Decieving

By zoebird |

We went on the recommendation of our front desk clerk as close and convienent. WoW! The best breakfast we have had in a very long time. The outside had us wondering if we had made a mistake. We went in anyway and it was a great choice. Menu was extensive with so many choices. The plates were overflowing with great tasting food. We will have to try it for lunch later.

Great!

By Jerome L |

Great food and service. Owner is very friendly and the staff is well trained and on point. Will be back for sure!

Breakfast

By greenacers |

Come hungry, the food was great. Makes no sense to go down to the strip when you have this jewel. The staff was very friendly. This place came recommended by the hot air balloon crew. They where right.

This is the place!

By Yolie5282 |

We came to Vegas for a little getaway. We didn’t want to eat in the casinos. We love to support the local shops. We were definitely not disappointed! The food and service was excellent. A very good variety- I had the eggs, bacon with biscuit and gravy (YUM) my husband had the chilaquillas with eggs on top (AWESOME) . If you are looking for a place that the locals eat - then this is the place!

Straightforward breakfast w/southwestern flair in a divey diner done DELICIOUSLY!!

By cheesychef |

Take the time to check out this little diner. Breakfast was simple but superb! Had the Irish breakfast (corned beef hash w/eggs, bacon & hashbrowns. Simple but cooked perfectly. And, the coffee (black) was top notch. Small little diner on side road in what looks more like a warehouse district 25-35 minutes walk behind Caesars off the strip pending where you are staying. TAKE THE WALK!! With the bonus that the walk back will work off the generous portion!!

Delicious!!

By S Hall |

We would have never stopped her on our our own. Friends swore by it when we visited Las Vegas. We all go various menu items. The portions are huge……Most likely one of the best breakfasts I have had!! We went twice while there. Staff is so friendly. This place is a must when visiting!!

We stumbled upon this place

By Eileen S |

We stumbled upon this place on a family vacation during Covid. What a great breakfast menu, even for our finicky eater. Our favorite dish was the Chilaquiles! This will become a “sure stop” in our future travels to Vegas.

Vacation

By Regina B |

Best breakfast and reasonable. Friendly and will visit again tomorrow. The skillet was awesome and the service was also, awesome! Mom and Pop

Worth the walk

By Clifford H |

Bit of a walk from Rio but well worth it. Excellent selection of breakfast items. Great coffee and excellent service. Small "locals" place.

Do not be afraid!

By KimInJax |

The Polaris Cafe looks rough on the outside, and is in an industrial area of town. Not where one would expect to find a restaurant. But, once you get inside, restaurant is bright and reminiscent of an old school diner. There are selections on the menu to suit any taste. I would highly recommend the authentic Mexican items. We had breakfast and the Huevos Ranchero and the breakfast burrito. Delicious. And the price can't be beat.

Mom and Pop Breakfast/Lunch Spot

By Ninjagimp |

This local cafe was within walking distance of our hotel. Waiting to be seated is optional, however, we were greeted as soon as we entered. There are a lot of choices on the menu. My spouse and I chose the simple 1-egg breakfast (egg, hash browns, bacon or sausage, and toast choice), and the meat-lovers half-skillet (a heaping helping of potatoes, sausage, bacon, ham, and egg with toast choice). I feel we left more than we ate. Add an extra-large serving of orange juice and we didn't even spend $20. This is a comfortable, clean, welcoming place that doesn't scream to be noticed among the din of Las Vegas. The staff is welcoming, courteous, and efficient. It is a good place to get comfort food, have coffee and conversation with friends, or simply fuel up for a full day on the strip. Good price, too! They are open for breakfast and lunch. Please note, they close earlier on Saturday (7am - 1pm) and are closed on Sunday.

Stekkar Shock

By Robert B |

Don't let the dumpy exterior fool you. You won't get mugged, really. Way off the strip in a light industrial area is a total keeper. Great menu, super prices, and large quantities. Great service, a quirky, sort of retro vibe, you won't regret going if you are a breakfast aficionado.

Great breakfast

By Cheryl S |

Small cafe behind the Wyndham Desert Blue. Serves a great breakfast, tasty meals with good servings. Good value for your $, service is prompt and friendly.

Excellent Breakfast

By stacyvic |

Walking distance from Wyndham Desert Blue. Food and service were excellent. Price was Reasonable for Vegas entertainment district. Clean and homey inside. Will definitely be our “Go To” place for breakfast and lunch when at the hotel.

THE BEST PLACES MAY LOOK DIVEY ON THE OUTSIDE - DON'T WALK AWAY!

By BeemerBurner |

The outside looks like an old beat up gas station. You double check to make sure the address is correct; the sign says Breakfast - but the building! Surely this can not be one of the best breakfast places in Las Vegas..... DO NOT WALK AWAY! In LV visiting MiL over Tgvg week. I DuckDuckGoed "Breakfast in Las Vegas" for we did not want casino food. It was not far away from the Rio so we went. Could not believe the outside. See first paragraph. I told the girls that the best places usually look like dives.... they laughed. The inside is small; maybe a capacity of 40. The staff is friendly and accommodating. THE FOOD IS AWESOME! The Santa Fe Skillet is REAL, spicy and filling. The Denver omlet, though simple ingredients, was one the best I have had. I asked for well done hash browns and they came perfectly crispy as I like. The kids loved their french toast and waffles. NEXT TIME IN VEGAS, THERE IS NO QUESTION AS TO WHERE WE WILL BE GETTING OUR BREAKFASTS! PS: 2022-11 We are in the middle of inflation. The menus were all price hand updated, presumably to keep up with ever increasing wholesale pricing. We had no issues with pricing.

Great Food, reasonable prices

By Richard D |

The breakfast was excellent. Polaris Street Café was recommended to us by a number of people and it lived up to the reputation. They are open from 6am until 2 pm and closed on Sundays. The portions are plentiful and very reasonably priced. They serve both breakfast and lunch.

Great local breakfast diner

By HappyExplorer7752014 |

I love local diners where you can get basic, good comfort food. The kind of place that has a cook, not a chef. The Polaris Street Cafe is one of those. Very plain outside, plenty of parking, nothing that would cause someone driving past to say, “That looks good. Let’s try it out.” But it is clean and cute inside, the service is attentive and quick, and the food is good and inexpensive. The location is near the Rio and literally around the corner from the Wyndham Desert Blue. The portions are generous and the unassuming atmosphere makes you comfortable enough to sit and talk and enjoy your coffee and breakfast with friends. My photo is of my mash-up of eggs over-easy, fried shredded potatoes, bacon and sourdough toast.

Best food we have had in Vegas….and we are FOODIES!!!

By Travelingmamateacher |

We are currently staying at the Wyndham hotel in Las Vegas. I woke up very hungry and the front desk recommended a little Mom and Pop place across the street, Polaris. The menu has a bunch of great breakfast items, which I was hungry for, but then I noticed that they had “chicken and cheese taquitos,“ on the menu- the ingredients looks so good I had to try….since today is our 20th anniversary I went big and ordered a BLT as well as the taquitos. As someone who is a complete foodie and is surrounded by amazing restaurants- I can say this was the best Mexican food that I’ve ever had in my life-on top of that our server, Priscilla immediately lightened up our day with her bubbly and hilarious personality. The owner, Julissa came out to say hi and check In… We ended up talking to her for about a half hour and she is one of the most lovely people you could ever meet. I write this after having the worst dinner of my life last night at a fancy place on the strip- only to come to this restaurant to be delighted with not only amazing food, but great people who Work hard to make it special.

Great Breakfast, Fast and Friendly Service

By Kent J |

Not fancy, but fantastic breakfast food served by very nice people. Great value. You won't stumble on to it, but if you are looking for great food this is a good move. We ended up here because the Wyndham Desert Blue doesn't have food on the property - staff gave us a great tip.

A Real Find

By Marc H |

I was a bit concerned considering where in Vegas this place is located. Pulling up and finding it looks like a deserted gas station did not make me feel any better. But walk through the door and suddenly you are in a regular restaurant. Not only that but the portions they give you are gigantic and the food is amazing! Don't judge a book by it's cover. This place is a true find.

Great food on the cheap!

By mzjeepco |

Not often can the two of us eat for less than $20.00, so this was an inexpensive, delicious, option! We don't get over to Vegas often from Pahrump, so we always try to find a good place to eat to encourage us to go over! Polaris Street Cafe came highly rated from the Jeep club in Vegas, and we weren't disappointed! Hubby had the one egg breakfast with sausage, hash browns, and toast and I had the Huevos Rancheros. Portions are generous, and coffee was refilled often. Good service and excellent food!

Great Find in Las Vegas!

By Koru1081 |

We found this delightful little eating spot more or less by coincidence and went back three times ... Such good value in a city that basically only exists to extract as much money as possible from people. It had a lovely small-town feel to it and great food!!!! Loved it.

Great Food

By John S |

This restaurant has great food and the friendliest service. Best prices in Las Vegas! The owner is very welcoming and friendly. Definitely will be back.

Best kept secret off the path

By Nicole O |

Food was delicious! 2 eggs over medium, country potatoes, sour dough, bacon. Mimosa was on point. Very clean - I looked around. Best thing was the service! It was outstanding!!! Thank you!!!!!

WOW! Such an awesome breakfast!

By Renee T |

Wow is the best way to describe this breakfast. The outside looked a bit suspect, but food and service were amazing! Off strip. Everything we had was top notch and the food was authentic! We didn’t have a better breakfast in Vegas!

Nice

By Desert-Reiver |

Polaris Street Café fulfills what we seek in our infinite quest for ‘diner’ experiences. Clean, comfortable, and a bit tattered around the edges. Just the way we prefer a diner to be. A bit costly for a diner though. I need to pay more attention to menu prices vis-à-vis the check total. I do plan to return, so the cost is not a deal breaker. I’m more likely to return if they lose the television. Television is a disagreeable distraction at restaurants. Summary: We enjoyed the Polaris Street Café. We do plan to return. Alas, they dinnae ha’e haggis on the menu.

Great Food!

By Ramblin Pam |

We had breakfast here this morning. Its located off the strip and has GREAT food! The restaurant was formerly an old gas station. The Cafe is very quaint and clean inside. The prices are really reasonable and portions are more than enough to eat. If you're in Vegas, I highly recommend giving this place a try.

Never again!

By Grayce |

Just horrible. Poor service, the cook was trash and the coffee tasted like swill. I guess it’s the only thing near the Wyndham desert blue within walking distance but hire a cab and go elsewhere. How do you ruin pancakes? My food just sat there waiting for the staff stop chatting and pick it up. That was my first sign. Even gave them a second chance to make the pancakes over. I just threw them away because it looked raw the second time and burnt the first time.

FYI - Prices are 40% higher now

By chuckw47 |

So this is our 2nd time visiting PSC. To be honest, the food is good and last time my wife and I stumbled on this place looking for a breakfast place off the strip. This trip we were with our kids and decided to visit again. First strike was the lack of any kids menu. Ok, they don’t HAVE to offer one, and if that’s not important to you then no biggie, but it’s a detractor for us. 2nd, and biggest difference from first visit was the prices. I know everything is going up, but these prices were a HUGE jump for our first visit less than a year ago. Most menus items are 40% more expensive. In the end, the food is still good, but those looking for that economical but tasty option off the strip for breakfast won’t find it here anymore.

A little treasure in Vegas

By Linda S |

Great food and a varied menu. Efficient staff. Reasonably priced. In an industrial area so a mixture of locals and tourists. We ate breakfast there 4 out of 5 days in Las Vegas!

Exceeds expectations!

By jdfawley |

Went for something to enjoy off the strip. Based on reviews this was the spot to visit. Not much outside but that’s half the charm. Clean, updated inside. Attentive service. Delicious food. Avocado Skillet breakfast was huge. Sausage gravy was a unique flavor and also delicious. Definitely a locals place.

Great food!

By Hieb_hm |

Greasy spoon atmosphere with amazing food and great service. Mom and Pop place in a sketchy area, but don't let that stop you. Great place to eat - closed on Sunday's tho.

Awesome Diner

By billydazzle |

Food portions are massive and delicious. Service is friendly and attentive. The restaurant is very clean and well staffed. The skillet offerings were amazing!

Hidden Gem

By Sister Glenda S |

This is a hidden gem. They serve breakfast and lunch. We went for breakfast 2 days in a row. The portions size are enough to share, the mimosas are off the chart good. The staff was friendly and very informative as well as patient. Best hidden location. They do not advertise every thing is word of month so if yiu get a chance check them out!!!

Great food and service

By Mike C |

Great food, skillets were terrific. Carne asada and ranchero skillet. Service was great. Very friendly atmosphere. I'd recommend it highly.

Hidden Gem for a Great Breakfast

By Airchef |

We found this quite by accident. Just a little hole-in-the-wall, but immaculately clean. The service and the food were great and inexpensive. Lots of local construction workers taking breakfast here, which was a good sign. The avocado omelet was absolutely delicious and chock full of goodies. Airchef had a country fried steak and biscuit breakfast. He is obsessed with good country gravy and this stood up to his scrutiny. We will definitely come back the next time we are in Vegas.

Not as bad as I thought it would be

By JackieL07 |

We stayed at the Wyndham Grand Desert Resort. One we checked in we decided to grab lunch. The concierge told us about this place which is about 2 min or so walking distance from the hotel. When we saw the outside we were a little skeptical ( the outside just looked like an old gas station) with not many cars there. To my surprised they have lots of options on their menu. I ordered the avocado burger and it was very tasty. They do offer breakfast and it all looked good( other people at my table got breakfast). The outside does look worse than the inside. *Keep mind they are only open for lunch and dinner. They close at 2

Hidden Gem!

By Greg B |

If you want excellent food at very fair prices, this is the place to go to. Large menu selections, just behind the Rio, and the employees were super friendly.

Get the hash browns!

By Vii |

Get a dish with hash browns!!! I got the country fried steak and eggs with no biscuit/toast. So so good, the hash browns were cooked perfectly— crispy yet not oily and the inside was soft. I mixed the gravy with the hash browns and it was still crispy!! Probably the best hash browns I’ve ever had. Portion size was just right without the biscuit/toast. No lines or wait to be seated. Very friendly service and affordable prices. Unfortunately no picture because the food looked so good that we forgot to take one and dug right in.

Breakfast

By Ron C |

Just a small place off the strip behind the Wyndham Desert Blue Great atmosphere, lots off delusions food at a fair price

You will repeat visit this place!

By EatDrinkEnjoy |

We ate here everyday, it was so good! I had the mango shrimp tacos, huevos rancharos and chilaquiles and all of them forced me to eat too much because portions were large and I could not stop myself. My friend had some of the american food options like pancakes and eggs and omelets and she loved hers too.

Inexpensive with Great Food

By Dennis L |

Set in an industrial area, Polaris Cafe doesn't look like much from the outside. Inside, the staff if friendly, the food is good, inexpensive, and comes quickly. Breakfast & lunch prices much cheaper than nearby Rio, Gold Coast & Palms casino/hotels.

Don't judge a book by its cover!

By Gigi0561 |

We were staying at the new Wyndham Desert Blue which is fairly isolated. Polaris is walking distance - THANK GOD!! There's nothing else around - except for Chinatown. From the outside it looks like a truckstop. The inside is not much better - - it's worn down with plastic table cloths, etc. But the food is great. The huevos rancheros, Mexican and ranchero breakfast burritos were delicious. My only complaint was the coffee, however, the food made up for it. I will definitely return.

Excellent food

By Bubbi |

You will not be disappointed! The atmosphere staff are exceptional hard workers!! Best breakfast in Las Vegas!!

Great food

By Casey D |

The food was great. The price was reasonable. The staff was very friendly. I had Huevos Rancheros. They were really good. I will be returning here many more times.

We asked for a recommendation and got a great one!

By BJBDalton |

The resort we were staying in didn't serve breakfast so we asked the front desk for a recommendation and got a great one! It was so good that we ate there EVERY morning of our trip for breakfast. Everything we had was good. If I lived close by, I would stop by at least once a week for some of the best breakfast food in Vegas!

Took a chance weren't disappointed

By rickcardo |

Great breakfast good quality food Large selection of Mexican themed Choices on menu.Reasonably priced home cooked fare.

"Vegas Breakfast Jem"

By Thomas P |

Looks a little sketchy from the outside but warm and welcoming on the inside. The only place I eat breakfast in Vegas. Food is always hot and tasty. Coffee is good and always filled. Portions are medium to large. Love the pancakes! Lunch menu is also great. Give it a try and you will be surprised and will love the value!

Good value breakfast

By SLSfromAKL |

We found this lovely little local cafe whilst staying nearby, and it became our regular breakfast haunt. Food was really good value, and a good choice of items, with plenty of half portions available, and tasted good! Photos show a half skillet of chicken fried steak hash, and eggs, biscuits and gravy. Coffee was not very strong, but plenty of refills. Staff were extremely helpful in terms of dealing with requests (eg hot tea with milk). After a few days, we were greeted as regulars! This is a world of difference from the strip, real country food, I recommend it!

Really good food!

By Judy S |

This is a small (really tiny) cafe that serves breakfast and lunch. It is in an industrial area, but don't be deceived or nervous. It's perfectly safe and the food is very good. It is a locals hangout and they always know the best places. They were doing a huge take-out business on Saturday morning, preparing dozens of to-go items. I would say: Go fot it!

An amazing breakfast place!

By Traveller2019 |

On holiday in Las Vegas, we wanted to try some local breakfast place. We walked from the Strip, it took us 30min. The place looks like an old gas station, but the service and food.. Just amazing! The place was busy, lots of locals. My husband is vegetarian, and he really enjoyed his avocado skillet. We shared Chilaquiles as well, the dish was so tasty. The prices were cheap ($30 with taxes, two dishes and two drinks).

Breakfast Priced Just Right!

By ruthg924 |

This is where locals come and, we now know why. Staff friendly, food prepared as ordered and, priced right. It's not located on the strip so, traffic is not heavy. Open only for Breakfast and Lunch. Way to Go!

Anniversary trip

By Alan D |

Absolutely fabulous. Great food, good cost, friendly service, clean and workable. Wish we had found this place earlier. Just by the Rio Casino and Wyndam Desert Blue. Highly recommend eating here. Is a very busy place.

Hidden Gem

By RosemaryB_10 |

We stayed at TI and the coffee shop prices were out of this world. We looked on line and found this hidden gem. Coffee was delicious! I had a delicious omelette with onions, peppers, mushrooms, bacon and avocado! Delicious home fries too. It was so good we went back a second day....need I say more?

Good local diner breakfast experience

By WhereTheresAWill17 |

TL;DR: Good, fast breakfast. Small diner atmosphere. Would reccomend. We came for breakfast. I ordered the carne asada skillet which was excellent, and my wife ordered a typical breakfast combo (eggs, bacon, sausage, pepper/onion/cheese scrambled eggs, hash browns). The coffee was really fresh and great and the mugs are extra large, which was nice. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. The restaurant was moderately busy but was clean and well-organized inside. Prices are probably a little high for a neighborhood diner, but we're from Pittsburgh so everything seems expensive out here. Come to think of it, the prices are pretty in line with what we have come to expect in Vegas.

Great service

By Casey D |

I come here between 1-3 times a week. The food is well made. The staff are very friendly and professional. The biscuits and gravy are very good.
