My wife and I were in Miam Miami and we were looking for a nice Cuban restaurant. Instead, we saw this place and went inside. It is Peruvian cuisine. Staff were great, and the food was excellent. We had no idea what we were ordering, my wife ordered a fish dinner and I ordered, this combination of pieces of tenderloin, peppers, onion, eggs, and rice and plantain and even french fries. All I can say is that both of us loved our meal. It off with a nice dessert and an espresso and a cappuccino. Cannot say enough nice things about this place. If you’re in the area, give it a try.

We opted for roast chicken, the waiter advised us a whole chicken for 2 , very hearty, we are not finished. Chicken is cooked to perfection, fries extra crisp, served with salad and vegetables. Chicken tastes amazing. Cheesecake with passion fruit very good. All with a colorful decoration.

Had dinner with friends here while staying at the Intercontinental nearby. Food was excellent. Service was solid, if a bit distracted (forgot to refill our water and we had to flag him down for the bill). I would eat here again if I were in the area and recommend it.

Pollos & Jarras is a must-do in Miami! I brought my husband and daughter here because I remembered how wonderful the food was 7 years ago when I visited Miami. There was no way I was going to miss this opportunity to return here. Since we wanted to try several foods, we ate family style and had the Del Carajo and the Chaufa Veggie (fried rice but we added grilled shrimp). The former was delicious but the latter was incredible. We brought leftovers back to the hotel and ate the food into the next day. Before the meal came out, we also had ceviche that contained various fish; that was superb, too. The atmosphere is fun and laid-back, which adds to the experience, as well. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

However, during my last visit, I decided to branch out and try the Aquadito Canoro soup. This cilantro-based soup, brimming with fresh vegetables and generous chunks of their signature rotisserie chicken, was an utter revelation. It was a warm embrace in a bowl, its rich flavors singing a harmonious melody on my palate. Yet, the pièce de résistance was the classic seafood-only ceviche (sans fish) I procured from Ceviche 105. Requested spicy, it was an explosion of flavor with every bite. A medley of fresh seafood, marinated to perfection, this dish truly showcased the expertise of the chefs. Specializing in Peruvian barbecue food, this place has a very casual, fun vibe, with pinatas hanging from the ceiling and colourful murals on the walls. We had rotisserie chicken, which was very good, and filet mignon skewer, which was amazing. Great atmosphere, attentive service, delicious food. Highly recommend.

Chickens and jugs was a hit! The food was fresh and tasty with every bite being delectable and reminding us of our time on the Peruvian beaches. The smells of the flames charring our meats along with the bountiful variety of dishes from Milanese chicken pasta to ceviche and veal hearts truly tickled my sensorium in ways they have not been touched before. Roger, our waiter, was the cherry on top of this metaphorical sundae. He was so attentive, kind, and thorough, spearheading the charge of this great experience. Thank you chicken and jugs!

Hanny was the most server ever. I went with my entire office and she was able to remember everything we ordered even when we were wild and could not remember. The food was amazing and for a decent price. The best thing I’ve ever tasted was the Furai, please get it.

Leslie was an amazing server!! We came as a party of 14 and everything was on point! We only needed to wait about 8 minutes so they can have a table ready for us. The food was AMAZING!! The tuna tartar was so fresh and had a great twist to it. The vibes and decor was an intresting take. We had a great experience at Pollos y Jarras. The donut floatie decorations and artwork creates a cool vibe! The food was amazing and the service was top notch. Rafael was our server and couldn’t have been nicer or more friendly with us. We had the Lomazo on Fire with Filet Mignon and the El Chaufa Criollazo. Our food came out within a matter of a couple minutes. We could not believe how fast it was and we had no idea how that could have been possible! Our meals were both so full of flavor and delicious, not to mention huge portions! We had leftovers for another 2 meals!! We also loved all 4 of the sauces that are provided at the table. They all complemented the meal well. I highly recommend this place to anyone staying in downtown Miami. It is a must try!! We will be back next time we are in the area. Keep up the great work!

This is a festive looking place with a ceiling decorated with children’s swimming tubes. I didn’t find the chicken amazing but it was good. The soft meringue and caramel dessert was really good. Chris s an engaging and entertaining waiter.

Initially the concept was bit confusing, as it seems that it is two restaurants in one place. But actually works well, cause you get options. We took a platter with chicken stuff. The Buffalo chicken wings as well as the cracklings were the best. Chicken skewer was so-so, but the rotisserie chicken was quite nice. Ceviche was absolutely amazing. Be careful though, as the portions are huge 🤣.

Very good food, the chicken was great and they have excellent service. If you are a group you should order the Castigame Negra, that comes with both beef and chicken.

Found out that this restaurant is a part of the extended CVI.CHE 105 restaurant network. The food was great like the other restaurant but in a more casual/relaxed setting. Service was very good and the waiter helped us choose some really good dishes. Definitely recommend.

They are combined with Cvi.Che which is right next door. Our server was great, he made recommendations that we followed as we'd never had Peruvian food before. The Peruvian lemonade was really good, as was the large dish. However the ceviche that we ordered was not very good at all. Overall it was a good experience, would go back, just wouldn't order ceviche again.

Always a super fun night at this place! They have a rad latin vibes playlist that hits all the reggaeton essentials and more, going back even to salsa classics like Cali Pachanguera. Our server, Alejandro, was super friendly, spoke spanish, and gave us great recommendations about the menu. He especially guided us toward the path to best reap the rewards of the restaurant while saving as much money as we could. Overall, a great restaurant for a family or friend group dinner.

I am from Poland and my husband is from Peru and we truly appreciated the authenticity and the amazing finesse with which the food was prepared and presented to our family. The restaurant truly represents the BEST of Peru! Sebastian not only served the food in perfect succession, he let us have it family style so everyone got to taste everything! I wholly appreciated that he separated parts of the meal simply based on my preferences ;)

We took the castigame negra dish with extra filet mignon on the server's recommendation and it was a pure moment of discovery. You will not be disappointed. For small eaters like us (2 adults 2 children 7 and 14 years old) we had lunch the next day with chicken and it was excellent! Go there with your eyes closed, the service and staff are very good.

Sandra was kind and amazing. This place really does have the best chicken ever with Peruvian flair. The atmosphere is a welcome departure from the typical flashy scene here. The focus is on fresh food and great service and they deliver on both!

Pollos and Jarras is a sister company of CVI.CHE. Our party of 13 luckily got a table pretty quickly for lunch without a reservation on a Sunday. Overall, we had a great experience. Food was delicious and the ambiance of the place is very trendy and decorated with lots of little knick knacks on the ceiling and walls. Our server Christopher was very attentive, helpful, and a good sales pitcher since we ended up ordering more things that we intended. Chris suggested that we try the ceviche trio and our group thought that what he was talking about was the Trilogy de Ceviches ($39). At first, we ordered only 2 for the group since we just all wanted a bite of it. He suggested we get 3 for the table and we said, sure. We ended up being served the Ceviche Threesome market price and EACH ONE cost $129. We were definitely surprised when we got the check. To be fair, the ceviche was very good and they served larger portions including a good chunk of lobster. But just be sure you know exactly what you’re ordering. The other items ordered were: -1 Pollo A La Brasa ($29): rotisserie chicken, tender meat. Have to eat with the green sauce (there’s a whole platter of sauce bottles on the table). Comes with rice and fries. -Carne Asada ($29): 8oz churasco with chimichurri, served with plantains and Lambayeque rice which was delicious— has a cilantro taste. -Quattro Leches for dessert: have to get this, it was so good that my husband ended up coming back to order this to-go. Overall, I’m glad that our group was able to try this place and all the delicious food it had to offer, despite the higher price and our situation with the ceviches. I’d suggest making a reservation because it definitely got busier throughout the time we were there.
