I’ve always loved Postino. The food, the wine lineup, the atmosphere, all of it has made it one of my favorite places. I’ve gone often because it always felt welcoming and enjoyable, and I truly looked forward to each visit. That’s why this experience was so disappointing and honestly upsetting. During my visit, Postino was promoting two specials: buy 100 dollars in gift cards and receive a 30 dollar bonus card, and half off bottles to go. I was excited to take advantage of the holiday deals because I genuinely enjoy their wines. But what I was charged didn’t match the promotions that were being advertised. After checking the prices online, in person, and on DoorDash, I realized the same bottles had three different prices, and none of them matched the promotional pricing shown in the photos I attached. On top of that, I didn’t receive the gift cards I purchased, and I wasn’t given a receipt at checkout. When I requested an itemized receipt later, the version I received did not reflect the actual pricing or match any of their menus. It felt inaccurate and left me confused. When I contacted the restaurant, the only response I got was that I was the first person to notice any issues. After that, I never heard anything back. No follow up, no explanation, and no effort to make things right. It made the whole situation feel even more disappointing, especially because I reached out in good faith with photos and details. I’ve had so many good memories at Postino and truly love their food and wine selection, which is what makes this experience so discouraging. I really hope management takes this seriously, because transparency and communication matter, especially to the people who visit often and genuinely enjoy what they offer.

My dinner was completely recommended by the server who was spot on! Started with the shrimp scampi, then the bruschetta sampler, followed by the cheese fondu. Each was unique and delicious. If you like trying a variety of dishes, this is a perfect place to dine. We were not rushed and spent about twice as much time here as any other restaurant; partially because my conference was over and we tried each item indecently of the other as we kept ordering and ordering. This place is a delight.

I loved this and I hate salads. The food was unbelievable, ate the entire cauliflower, salmon salad, skewers. Burp! Staff was super all around and the cucumber honey lemonade cured my GERD! Seriously! Will be back a lot!

Great service, great atmosphere, great food. Especially love the meatballs and goat cheese. My husband‘s a fan of meatballs I’m a fan of goat cheese and we did not have to compromise for the first time on an appetizer. Bonus! The fact that you can have several meals in one with the bruschetta option is really nice! Must do the chef’s special with cheesecake. We came here for lunch and enjoyed it very much. There are fresh fruit juices, along with cocktails and great brunch specials. The atmosphere, whether you’re inside or outside is nice too. Hopefully I have another excuseto come to Frisco soon!

Bartender was very knowledgeable of wine list and menu. Shared salmon appetizer and it was plentiful, tasty, and well-priced. Bruschetta choices were varied and all had great taste and texture. All day happy hour can’t be argued with, although all wines were unknown to us. Surroundings very comfortable, although a bit loud. Outdoor patio not in use on day we were there, but with fireplace would be comfortable, weather permitting. All-in-all, a great addition to the Addison restaurant scene.

I love their Bruschetta Board! You get to pick 4 from 10+ spreads—my favorites are the ricotta with dates & pistachio, smoked salmon with pesto, prosciutto with fig & mascarpone, and fresh mozzarella. The board is perfect for sharing with a friend or a group of friends over a glass of wine, whether indoors or on the patio. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. They have some great happy hour deals: $6 wine glasses and pitchers of beer every day until 5pm, plus bruschetta boards and wine bottles for $25 after 8pm on Mondays & Tuesdays.

In the hour and a half we were there, we could NOT get service. If it had just been me, I would have just left, but we had a group and they didn’t have a ton of time to go elsewhere. We were seated indoors, and after 15 minutes of being there, and having no one come to our table, I eventually went to the bar to ask for someone to help us. ( as did another table from outside) The servers were much more interested in standing and talking with the kitchen, than providing any type of customer service. Each time we needed something, we had to physically walk to a server who was either at the kitchen window chatting, or standing by the bar, very clearly ignoring us. It’s always been pretty slow service here, which is why we avoid having lunch there on weekdays, but frankly this was insulting. To have to walk all four empty glasses up to the bar for a refill, because your server did not want to work yesterday, was absolutely ridiculous. The bar tender I will say, was very nice. I don’t want her to get grouped in with the servers that were on the floor. I reached out to management and got zero response.
This place is a Game Changer!
Newly opened, with a well trained staff and carefully chosen wine list. 8+ craft beers on draft, about 18 wines by the glass. They have happy hour seven days a week, 11-5. $6 glasses of wine. The cauliflower was outstanding, as were the meatballs. Couldn’t try their signature Bruschetta because they were out of bread. They have been very busy. It is very refreshing to enjoy a Dallas restaurant where the prices are reasonable, the service is professional (sadly lacking in most places these days), and the food quality is stellar. I can’t wait to return. I almost didn’t write this review because there will be lines out the door…
