I am not usually a bruschetta fan, but Postino does it better than anywhere else. I first went to Postino in Phoenix and was converted. They also have a great variety of available toppings and flavors. In addition they have lots of other offerings - paninis, soups and salads. Worth a visit

Basically the food they have is all sorts of panini. I am not a particular Italian food lover but what they were serving was really good. Especially the 4 panini platters I can recommend. You can make your own choice of four different panini types and two different bread types and walk your way through the menu. They also offered a $5 pitcher of draft beer which was great of course although I don't know if this was a special of that particular day. The staff was professionally friendly although they are not wearing any particular staff cloth which caused us to talk to wrong person and created a funny situation. The parking situation was a little tight.

The food was fabulous but it was very loud inside the restaurant & very warm - too warm. Next time we will sit outside I think! The cauliflower was great & we ordered a variety bruschetta. The one with apple & brie was amazing! There’s an extensive wine & beer menu as well. Will definitely try it again!

Have visited Postino's now a couple of times at their new location and love, love, love it. They have bruschetta selections where you can create your own "board" of four choices (I think it's 4) and they are most imaginative and very very tasty! Great for sharing as appetizers or if lunch/dinner, your appetite will be sated completely. There is no division of duties among staff so drinks and food are served very quickly by whoever has empty hands. Great method...we never wait for anything. Visit soon!

Ordered “The Bounty” - a board of roasted heirloom carrots, cauliflower, broccolini, sweet pepper, blistered brussels sprout, roasted artichoke, watermelon radish, spicy marcona almond, and a side of green goddess dressing, Almost too pretty to eat - but enjoyed every bite. Our server, Lenaeya was so helpful friendly and patient with us. She bent over backwards to make sure we enjoyed our birthday celebration. Creme Brulee’ and Chocolate Bouchon was sooo good. Definitely returning!

I was so excited to try this restaurant...I have heard nothing but great things. They have a great patio when the weather is good, and a cozy atmosphere inside. We went for lunch, and I loved my food so much I wish I got the full order. I did the half tuna panini half salad. Omg the tuna was fresh not canned tuna...so delish. My salad was the Hannah’s field salad...to die for. Oh and they have a bunch of wine, ha. I’m not a wino, but if you are tons to choose from. Service was fantastic, place gets packed, so keep in mind.

I only had finger food and appetizers but the patio is nice and the inside is very relaxing. The food was good and the service is great. I would stop by this place if you’re in the area.

Postino serves fresh food with bruschetta being one of their signature offerings. The bruschetta options are varied, intersting and tasty. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating.

My niece brought me here for brunch for my birthday, but we ended up ordering the bruschetta combo which is a great deal, $15 for four different choices of bruschetta. We chose apple, Brie and fig bruschetta, the bacon burrata arugula bruschetta , the prosciutto fig and mascarpone bruschetta and the pepper jelly and goat cheese bruschetta. They were all very good, but our favorite was the apple fig and brie. Combined with Mimosas and it was a delicious brunch. Our server, Iya, was very attentive and engaging. I will definitely come back and maybe try some of the egg dishes next time!

We went here for the first time with friends, somewhat of a reunion for some of us. This was the first time here for 4 of the 6 of us. Got a good table outside. Happy hour wine was $5. I had one of their Postino chosen brands, the Hollys Way Chardonnay, and it was very good and you can't beat the price! Most of our party members had salad or sandwiches. All nice size portions. I was not that hungry, so I ordered just a bowl of their soup of the moment which today was White Bean and Sausage. My only constructive criticism was that the portion size, for a bowl, should have been bigger. (Everyone else's portions were good sized.) The soup was extremely tasty, so much so that I would have loved to get the recipe. It had a pleasant "zing" to it. Note: If you are not a sandwich or salad person, the other choices are limited, so hoping they will open up the palate. I would certainly go back. Our server, Soledad (or Sole) was very attentive.

We arrived around 3:30 on a Thursday afternoon and by 4:15, it was packed inside (It was cold/windy that day so no one really on the patio.). The $5 wines were a deal. You selected from their normal wine by the glass list. I had a really good Pinot Noir (normally $13) for $5. We ordered their 'board' and each selected 2 different spreads - all were very good and filling. Their dessert wasn't anything special so I don't think we'd bother with that next time but there definitely will be a next time.

The $5.00 wine and Bruscetta make this place worth the drive. The service, salads, and Paninis were all excellent and we cannot wait to return again soon!

Meatballs are terrific; the salads were surprisingly good, meat skewers were a good deal - and delicious. Cheese board is fun and very good. Servers are very pleasant. Nice selection of moderately priced wines.

Good sandwich and salad spot. Out door dining available but in Houston the fans need to be turned on as the restaurant opens. Decent wine list but US wines are in short supply. Beer is also served in draft and bottles. Good location in the Heights- easy to get in and out. Enjoy.

This is for the new Montrose location, which doesn't have a listing yet on TripAdvisor. A friend and I went for lunch yesterday, first time for both of us. The decor and atmosphere are quite nice; we love the LGBTQ history wall and the midcentury-rustic vibe. Service was very attentive in some ways and a bit lacking in others. For example, no spoon came with my soup and the server took a good while to find one, all the while my tepid soup losing even more of its precious temperature. Said soup, chicken noodle, held a gracious plenty of chicken; however, the chicken was rubbery and tough. I would have enjoyed more of the delicious broth had it been hotter. The salvation of my experience was the meatball appetizer with goat cheese. OMG. And the broth left from that was sublime. The portions of both appetizers were so plentiful that I brought half of each home. I'll add some more broth to the chicken soup and let it simmer a while in hopes of tenderizing that chicken. My friend had the proscuito panini, which he pronounced "delicious", with a side of homemade potato chips that he barely touched, pronouncing them "meh". We both enjoyed the remarkably inexpensive $5 glass of Pinot Noir. I know the service and probably the little glitches of food will improve as the restaurant ages. I like it well enough to go back!

Nice and cozy new restaurant in The Heights. It’s an informal place, nicely decorated and good music, a little high volume for myself. Good selection of beers and wines. We liked the French Onion Soup, very tasty, also the Tuna Panini and the Brussels Sprouts Salad was excellent. For desert a guilty Chocolate Bouchon that we enjoyed a lot! Very good service and the best: Jessica, the bartender, she was awesome! Will go back!

Postino was a fun surprise! Their portions are huge and so filling! We were thinking their menu during lunch hours was separate for their dinner menu - but nope! All the same! I had their Proscutto & Brie sandwich with salad and it was good. My girlfriends and I also split the Bruschetta appetizer and - wow - they were all really tasty!! You pick 4 options for $15. Totally worth it if your there with multiple people! It would be hard to finish all 4 and a full entree. I would go back just for their Burrata, Bacon & Arugula bruschetta. Drink menu is also good with a great bar atmosphere.

A rainy day lunch !! We had a nice large booth, that was very comfy! I had the panini focaccia bread spicy mayo chicken sandwich with the salad that comes with it ( that is not the menu name , but that describes it! ) Both were delicious . I brought half of the sandwich home ! It’s a nice place with pleasant servers! Will definitely be back !!!

Really yummie foods to mix and match. Drink specials are great as well.Come early to beat lunch and dinner crowds. The " Boards" are so nicely done. The tuna is not to be missed.

Delicious Bruschettas! Great offer: we had 4 Bruschettas & a bottle of wine for USD 20 - we will come again!

Great ambiance, servers, speed with service … but my chicken panini had a bone in it, and I was sick that afternoon. (my partner had the same meal and felt sick as well, less than I did). Positions are usually good, but I’ll advise not to be lax in any area of its franchise.

$5 till 5 promotion sees wine by the glass @$5 and pitchers of beer. Very busy hip place with interesting bar snacks to accompany the drinks. Service was friendly and efficient and the room beautifully finished and nice and cool on a hot afternoon. Worth a visit.

It was a great experience, spending time with family with great food!!! Could need a bit of improvement!! Bruschettas are awesome!!

Best meal of our vacation, which is both weird and indicative of the quality of my gourmet grilled cheese sandwich, and our other items: Brussels sprouts salad, prosciutto cheese and fig jam sandwich... Fantastic!

We visited Postino for the first time on Saturday night, 6 of us ranging from 40-60 yrs old. Plenty of discretionary income. We enjoyed the ambience, the food concept but we couldn't even carry on a conversation. We asked our waitress about it and she said, Why do you think I'm bending over to take your orders? She was twenty-something and she couldn't hear us either. Too bad. We won't come back even though we really enjoyed the offerings and the service.

The prices and bruschetta are totally worth the trip - great bang for your buck! We had a large group on the patio and our orders and bill were all impressively accurate. The service, however, was a little slow and every server that came to our table complained that the other servers were all new. Pack your patience and enjoy the $5 wines all afternoon long!

Visiting from Savannah, Ga for my nieces wedding and stopped in for lunch after mani pedi's. The bruschetta's were fantastic!! The only issue we had was the service was slow.

Stopped on a recent Sunday for brunch. After a 23 min wait for a table we were seated inside. My wife ordered the Farm Scramble that looked and tasted great and I had the Country Toast with a small pot of French press coffee. Postino is a great new spot in a growing Heights area.

We've eaten here three times and have enjoyed it each time. Essentially this I'd just a fun place to go, very casual, fun food, good wine and beer selection, great friendly service and reasonable prices. That's a lot of positives, right? Plus there are little shops to visit and buy things at next door and across from Postino. The bruschetta is really very good and the Butcher's Block (a menu item with an assortment of artisanal meats cheeses, olives, nuts and hummus) is another favorite of ours and can be shared with up to 4 people. The portions are pretty big too. Nice panini sandwiches also. You really can't go wrong. It's a bit noisy but that's just because everyone is enjoying themselves. And at happy hour they have small pitchers of beer and wine at reduced prices. This place is considered Italian but don't look for pasta dishes, not on the menu. Check it out but come hungry!

We love this place! The bruschetta is the main reason to go. The appetizer is huge and enough for two people to split as a meal. They also have a great wine menu! You can sit inside, which is cozy and dark, or enjoy the patio, which is my favorite - especially when the weather is nice.

Locals from the Heights who are regulars at Postino suggested (or rather insisted) that we do a Brunch at this location. There are a lot of dining options in greater Houston area, but this one is really special. The menu is delightful unique with mix and match Bruschetta Boards that are flavorful and quite tasty. Another cool offering is the $5 before 5 mini pitcher of beer. The staff is very friendly and on top of their game. Our server was Anica who was extremely pleasant and accommodating with our large family group. She gave us expert advice and recommendations setting us up for a memorable Brunch experience. She was attentive without being obtrusive which makes for a perfect meal.

The service is pretty good and consistent. I'm always looking for a great wine bar that isn't super pricey but has amazing wines... tough I know.. but this place has both! Their $5 glasses of wine before 5pm everyday is phenomenal. Their food menu isn't very lengthy but their sandwiches and salads are filling. If you're a big wino and enjoy the Heights, check this place out!

Granted July in Houston in particular is brutal, but the AC in this place needs to be kicked up a notch. Always too hot in there no matter when I’ve gone (live nearby). Great wine and beer happy hour specials daily and the charcuterie boards are so good. Service is good and the atmosphere is chill.
Great Bruschetta
Our group had a variety of Bruschetta. They were all delicious. My favorite was the warm artichoke spread and the sweet and spicy pepper jam with goat cheese. Service was excellent, always checking to see if more drinks were needed. Would love to have one of these in my area.
