Wanted to visit somewhere truly special for a romantic meal while in Vegas and this didn’t disappoint. I’d made a reservation in advance and requested a table on the patio (the booking service made it clear this wasn’t guaranteed). When we arrived they confirmed our request for a patio table but added “You were made aware there is a $175 minimum per person to sit on the patio weren’t you?”. Nope, no I wasn’t. I wasn’t too concerned as this was a special event for us, but could have been a deal breaker for others. Be aware. The patio is beautiful, with picture perfect views over the Bellagio fountains towards the Paris Hotel’s Eiffel Tower. Service was as exemplary as you would imagine, just wonderful. Possibly the best meal I’ve ever had. Perfect. As long as you visit here with your eyes open to how expensive it can be, you will have a wonderful time. Couldn’t recommend more highly.

Itbis definitely more fame than anything prices are extremely expensive for half the price you get similar quality steaks at other venues, the place is aleays full so the service isnt top lnotch the only way worth spending is if you get a table in the pario to see the fountains

Ok let me start by saying our first visit here in April 2024 was great. Unfortunately, our last trip here a few nights ago was way under par. The service was great but 3 of the filets we ordered tasted like they were from Walmart. We were shocked. We won’t be returning. The price for the food was not worth it in the least.

HORRIBLE & DOWNHILL "has been" restaurant I went here for my 45th birthday in September and it was honestly one of the worst dining experiences ever!!!! I've worked on the strip for 20 years being part of the management team running the books and reservations for several Michelin star restaurants and this place simply does not care! I booked an early seating on a Thursday ensuring that I arrived prior to 6:30-7pm casino reservations. I asked for a table with a view for my birthday as this was the reason I booked early knowing the restaurant would be slow enough to accommodate a view. Upon arrival nobody had read the notes on my reservation clearly as not one single person acknowledged the special occasion which for a "fine dining experience" this is unacceptable! They sat me in the very very back by the bathroom while the tables with a view ALL remained empty. The food was atrocious!!!! I sent back the Caesar salad as it was wilted and brown with factory made cheap conveyor belt croutons which again this is supposed to be fine dining not Olive Garden 🙄. They didn't even take it off the bill as a goodwill gesture forever e brown lettuce! I ordered some chicken dish which was awful as well I paid for a giant underwhelming chicken finger. The fact that they are even serving an item like this on their menu is pure laziness!!! No sautéed tomatoes, no sauce absolutely nothing to elevate the dish to a fine dining standard. My 10 year old cooks better! Now I emailed the vice president of F&B as well as the director of restaurants about this service experience because the fact that the restaurant is not even reading the notes they should know this right?? I mean if they care ??? Well their lack of response clearly shows the level of disregard for their customer experience which has trickled down to the restaurant. They won't even reply to our reviews because THEY DONT CARE! Save your special occasion for a restaurant that serves elevated cuisine, cares about your service experience and reads the reservation notes. There's so many other fine dining options in our city. I will never ever ever ever ever again dine here again. Their days are certainly numbered and the writing is on the walls.Go to another restaurant that actually cares about delivering, SERVIVCE & QUALITY

Unique location at Bellagio Resort - unfortunately it was not pointed out that a large part of the restaurant w.g. Renovation is not accessible; with the price range you should be allowed to expect this. The food was impeccable; the service nice but - typically American - very careful to get rid of the guest as soon as possible to be able to occupy the table again. Doesn't work at all with the price level of the food and makes it uncomfortable. The sequence of food is very fast; this makes it uncomfortable and the enjoyment is subordinate to speed. Whether fries have to cost $20 will have to be answered individually by each guest - that combined with the perceived unacceptable dwell time is not possible.

my wife and i have dined at Prime on 2 previous occasions. we brought the kiddos this time for a post Christmas dinner extravaganza. knowing the popularity of Prime due to the Fountain show, I booked a month in advance. on their site, important specifics are mentioned: $50 pp credit card hold, NO children under 5, patio seating not guaranteed, dress code and menu. nowhere does it mention the $175 "Minimum Spend" pp for patio seating that they conveniently slid into my text 4 hours before dinner. 4 hours before dinner means i have to pony up $175 x 3 kids (13, 11 and 8) to sit on the patio, try and make reservations at the other Lakefront spots or cancel altogether and give up $250 on my credit card hold. needless to say, i stayed with my reservation at Prime. now, my wife and i have NO problem covering $350 and then some for the 2 of us to dine here. we're big drinkers. my issue is the principal of the matter. my kids combined don't even weigh 175lbs let alone be capable of consuming $525 worth of Prime's delicacies. don't make me have to pay that just to see the Fountains, while conveniently not providing the notice on your site. after not getting anywhere with the nice front desk girls, i spoke with the Manager, Christian, who accommodated us with our request for the patio seats. he obliged us by having our 3 kids count as only 1 adult. FAIR enough, hence the 3 star. i still think that $175 min spend should be posted on their website. otherwise, it's a bait and switch practice. other than this initial debacle, the rest of the night went off without a hitch. we received the service and quality we'd expect of Prime and the price tag it carries. our server, Brandon, was attentive and readily available. the runners and bussers were on top off managing our table, clearing plates and glasses. the food was amazing. we ordered 3 filets and a new york as well as brussels sprouts and fries. my kids devoured the 2 Filets that they were kind enough to slice up for us. the Fountain show lived up to it's hype. we'll definitely be back because this place is special. i'm hoping that Prime is more transparent with their policies so that their customers can plan their night and expectations accordingly. Our host booked a patio fountain view table (or so we thought 🤷♀️) for our 20th anniversary. After our wedding 20 yrs ago our entire party ate at prime and we wanted to eat and celebrate there again. After checking in we got led straight to a far back corner indoors with zero view and no mention of a better table or simple apology that one wasn’t available? It was early and not busy yet. Food was good, service not so much. Empty water glasses we had to ask for more of several times and also had to flag someone down for another cocktail halfway thru the meal as no one checked in or asked us. At about $30 a piece u think they would push them harder lol! They were kind enough to give us a 2 bite piece of cheesecake to share to celebrate. We’ve been here several times over the years and this was definitely disappointing especially on such a big day and well over $400 later. Probably won’t go back anytime soon with all the options elsewhere.

I am not sure how this place gets such good reviews. To be clear the ambience and decor is absolutely beautiful and sophisticated. It feels expensive and it certainly is. My family of 4 didn’t order anything out of the ordinary and with tax and tip it was $743 (with 3 alcohol drinks, no bottled water or sodas and no desserts or coffee). Now I am from NY and have been to Vegas before many times and am pretty price insensitive…but the problem here is the food and service is serviceable at best. I would name a dozen steakhouses in Las Vegas to go to and pay on par or less and get a much better product. There isn’t one dish, besides the foie gras, that I can say was of good size and was excellent. From the embarrassing shrimp (small and tasteless for $34 that if I got them at a diner it would be the same shrimp) to the over-dressed caesar, to the minuscule tuna tartar the apps were wholly under-whelming. The steaks were mediocre and a $98 skirt steak was flavorless and small. The two sides were just ok. Even the bread served is lazy and thoughtless. Anyone who says this is a great steakhouse worth the visit (and money) is purely influenced by the decor/setting and the company they were with as this place is way past its Prime! Avoid and go to the plethora of great steakhouses on the strip to have an immeasurably better meal.

This meal was OUTSTANDING, from the service to the flavor of all the selections! We started with appetizers which included : beet cappacio, tuna tartar , and bacon wrapped shrimp. Salads were Caesar and baby iceberg. For the entree, we had filets and lobster along with asparagus and gratin dauphinois. We were way too satiated to enjoy dessert!!!! We have been here before and the service and food remain very high quality.

Ordered steak medium. It was one third medium, two thirds medium rare. I rate the service a 3 out of 10.

Great steaks and service. A little pricey buy worth it as everyone there was so nice and attentive. Filet Mignon was fantastic.

Impersonal Welcoming, dark room (need my smartphone to light up). I ordered the New Yorker with asparagus, it arrived with a pound of candied onions and Covered with a crushed pepper crust. Inedible. JG Vongerichten should visit this restaurant once.

We were seated near the bar area and the TVs in the bar were very distracting. We came to Prime for an upscale dining experience but the TVs ruined that. I do have to say that the staff and servers were excellent and very attentive. I had the ribcap but was disappointed in the quality. Quite a bit of it was chewy. I’m not sure we’ll go back. There are too many other options on the Strip and since there was some disappointment in the meal we may want to go elsewhere next time."

A little disappointed we made reservations March 2022 for August 2022 anniversary dinner outside on patio. We arrive told there is a 1hr. plus wait, I tell her our reservation was made in March you couldn't comply??? told that's the current situation. Bummer wanted to see nightly fountains. We ate inside beside arched windows . Meal was lovely but missed the point (5months) advance notice? reservation outside as requested.

So we booked 2 months ago for a patio table, emailed twice to confirm it and called up 2 days prior to confirm it was on the patio (which it was) only to arrive and find we couldn’t have the table as planned. We were not the only people who had this issue. Even though they say you have to arrive on time for your booking even if we had taken the internal table it would have been a 30-40 min wait from our booked time. After 25 mins of ‘discussions’ with the manager (because they hosts were super unhelpful and didn’t care - just reminded us we could eat somewhere else) we finally managed to get 11 adults on the patio around a 6 top table. We finally sat down 70 mins after our booked time and while the drinks in the bar were good the maintenance of bar areas was poor and spent 45 mins staring at someone’s leftovers. Having ran restaurants for +20 years I would have at least offered a round of drinks for making guests wait over an hour for their booked table. Oh and don’t worry about the dress code, our party all changed into smart attire as per the countless emails they sent but everyone around us were in shorts, T shirts and sliders. The Good Bits: In all fairness the food was great and these were the best steaks we had in vegas. Our server was awesome and you can’t ask for better views.

There is no better steakhouse than Prime Steakhouse. The location and proximty to the water fountain is superb but what makes this place truely spectacular is the service standard of the staff. This guys are highly rdined, professional and portray the absolute supreme in restaurant service. Try to book ahead and request either a balcony or window seat but if it is not possible, don't worry - this inside tables are just as spectacular. The decor is 1920's 1930's and has been maintained to an impeccable standard. A must visit

Extremely disappointed by this entire experience. Do not waste your time. Made reservations months in advance for a birthday dinner. Reservations were running >1 hour behind with absolutely zero concern for any guests. Very rude hostess staff. Food may be good but not worth it.

worked at a Jean George restaurant in Hawaii, in fact the only one. On Kauai, Kauai Grill. I worked there for 11 years. I loved my job, until the hotel sold we were no longer affliated with Jean George, so i moved on. This was an amazing restaurant with fantastiv food and views. We even got the honor of getting trained by the Jean George staff from NYC. The food is amazing i have also gone to 4 restaurants in Nyc. I was excited to try PRIME! the appetizers were AMAZING! The salmon sashimi and the ahi tartare. We had those signatures at Kauai Grill. I ordered the 18oz, dry aged bone in ribeye. IT WAS HORRIBLE, no rib cap, no flavor, was watery, no char, and no taste! It was $112. We ate it. The server never checked until the bill came and i expressed how bad the steak was. The servers response was that the steak is so bad now. Sometimes its choice, others its prime but they never know until the steak comes in. Honesty is everything! I appreciated his honesty. He called the manager, she kept apologizing and saying that they are working on a better quality. Seriously? Until then your serving CRAP! Especially i know the quality of beef our Jean George restaurant had! She didnt take anything off the bill, didnt offer anything or offered to give me a discount for my $112 steak that was horrible. Our bill ended up being $350. What a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE with the steak, at a honorable chefs steakhouse!

I was so impressed until two women with a camera came around and asked to take our pictures and pose us! Ok, in retrospect, we just should have said no, but we rolled with it. It was awkward and perplexing. It got worse when they came back to our table and tried to sell the photos to us for $190!! come on, this is an amazing restaurant that went all in carnival with this embarrassing situation. We were frankly stunned that a restaurant of this caliber would do this. It's not a county carnival. so disappointing. Food and service were great, but I cannot give it five stars because of this.

Beautiful setting - expensive but worth it for the view / setting. Ask for seat on patio - we had excellent view of fountains, was magical. Food was lovely - we really enjoyed it. Also thought the service was very good. We booked for my mum’s 60th - it asks when booking what occasion is. After dinner they brought her out a plate with some macaroons with happy birthday written on - they did this completely unprompted, a really nice touch. Cocktails good too! Inconsistent portions sizes would be the only thing - some of our sides were huge and would feed 2/3 people. Other sides at a similar price were much smaller and definitely would only be for 1 person. Maybe ask when ordering as I think we over-ordered on sides. Overall would absolutely recommend for a special occasion!

Unfortunately, all in all, a disappointment. I made a reservation 1 month in advance (birthday). 4 people in the Partio. On the day I booked, I was informed that they could not guarantee my reservation in the Partio and that we had to guarantee a minimum consumption of 175 people. This is a cheek in itself, as we had already been informed in advance. When we arrived, we were told that we would find a seat inside, probably by the window, but that the outside area would be occupied for at least 90 minutes! The service was arrogant, almost condescending. We were briefly friendly when we ordered a bottle of red wine. We were dealt with very quickly. When we asked if we could kindly have our espresso outside (Partio was 3/4 empty) we were told that "only coffee" is not served outside. Final, arrogance at its finest

First of all, it was a struggle to get a reso for what appeared to be a half full restaurant. When I arrived, I was seated in the very back with absolutely no one around which made for a not so nice experience as a solo diner. The waiter was quite short with me, recommended a dish but clearly just wanted me to decide and get out of there. The light above my table mid-way through the meal began flickering for the rest of the time I was there - now I guess i understand why they weren't seating anyone in the back (go figure!) Now the food - I had the ribeye which was overcooked and bland. I tried to tell the waiter but he insisted it was cooked the way I asked. I didn't feel like arguing so I just let it be. Ended up eating 4 bites and throwing the rest away. What a waste of a $90 USD steak! I also had lobster mashed which were runny and asparagus which appeared to be boiled because they were mushy....again no taste, no seasoning just plain. I expected so much more from what was supposed to be a high end steakhouse. I paid my bill - over $200 USD and still left a 18% tip but I am so mad I spent a penny on this horrible food, terrible service and experience. PRIME - DO BETTER!!!

Anniversary dinner. We celebrate here every year in July. Filet steaks are delicious although pricey. You’re paying for the ambiance as well. Sides are large enough to share. Four steaks with a couple of sides, two teas no mixed drinks, $500.00. Worth it for the good time and service.

Good evening. I've had the worst restaurant experience ever. I decided to book a reservation to this establishment for my anniversary thinking we would have the a great meal. Well this meal was horrible. First thing the bread came out cold and hard. That was not a big issue. It's when out main dishes arrived. My wife had the Dungeness crab cakes . When she took a bit. The cakes were ice cold. They took her plate and decided to bring her another one. It was cold. So to make things worst her food was extremely horrible tasting. It was nasty . Had no taste. My wife was disappointed and heart broken on her anniversary. Now the next thing when my sea bass arrived it also was cold ,hard and nasty. And tasted raw to be honest. All in all this restaurant experience was the worst I've ever had. I will never recommend anyone to spend that kind of money at prime steak.. The food is extremely expensive and a customer should get the best experience a restaurant can offer and I think I was dealt a bad hand with them. My dinner was right at 200 bucks for me and my wife and it was not worth half of that. So if you want a good quality meal at a high end restaurant please don't go here. Im very disappointed tonight and my wife heart is broken. I wanted this to be a special night for me and her and it turned out to be a nightmare.

"The most amazing experience. We booked for our 20 year anniversary and it was so amazing. The meal was amazing and the staff went above an beyond. THANK YOU!!

We were there for our 28th anniversary and my 66th birthday. It was their second chance to make me feel better about their service, and, I'm done. We had dinner at the Palm the night before and the filet mignon was so much better than what I received here at Prime. My wife orders the fish, and she wasn't very impressed. We've had dinner there before and the food and the service was over the top. Somehow that has degraded. In my correspondence with them three times before we got there, I asked to sit outside by the fountains. When it came to seating us, they put us inside. I would have paid whatever it cost to sit outside for our occasion. And then when it came down to dessert, they forgot about our anniversary and my birthday. There's so many choices in Las Vegas for dinner, but for the Prime, never again. I used to recommend them to my friends and family but never again.

Opted for here instead of SW steakhouse.Bad move. First off, paid the $175 pp minimum ( which is NO problem $$$$) to sit on outside patio because it was my wife's 60th and our 30th anniversary. We got seated almost a half hour after our reservation at a table with a limited, but ok view of fountain, only for that view to be blocked by people from bar and inside tables, taking pictures every time the fountain show went off...very annoying. As for the meal..service was polite but rather slow. My medium rare ribeye came out medium at best and the waiter said " that's our medium rare "..WHAT?? Medium rare is warm pink center EVERYWHERE. My wife's filet( part of $206 surf and turf) was rare, which the waiter agreed and had to take back and cook more since it was ordered medium...very disappointed and they did nothing to make anything right for such a disappointing experience...$650 with tip for 2 of us...Disgusted.

We booked this restaurant having been told the dining scene was outstanding in vegas. Unfortunately that wasn’t our experience. The front of house staff were not that friendly or welcoming. We swung by before our reservation to see if there was likelihood of being seated earlier to no avail- totally understandable, we asked in the off chance we got lucky. She then informed us we’d actually be seated late as they were running behind schedule. After we learned we couldn’t move fwd our reservation we took off for a while to change into long trousers to meet their dress code requirement (seems not everyone abides, whilst we were seated we witnessed a couple in a sports shirt and another gentleman in shorts) and waited until our original booking time. After returning we were told we’d have to wait in the hall. I insisted we could wait in the bar and we sat there for 35 mins past our booking time…with no updates in that time. I was about to approach the desk to ask when we could expect our table when they came fwd to seat us. By this point I was quite irked at the service, or lack of. Once seated I was pleased that our waiter was great- the inside staff are definitely next level customer service vs front of house. He was so attentive, chatty and welcoming. The sides we ordered were wonderful, portion sizes very generous. Our steaks (the main reason for our visit to this particular steakhouse) were average at best. We’ve eaten in many high end steak restaurants around the world and we had such high hopes but the steaks were not great. The waiter commented on how much fat there was left; to be expected with a steak (our favourite dining option) but not to that level. I’m totally on board with charging through the nose in tourist hotspots but at least back it up with quality especially with a chefs name at the helm - our expectations far exceeded the reality of this visit. The views in the restaurant were lovely though and staff inside super attentive. It was thanks to the view and our waiter we still enjoyed our experience, but 400 dollars lighter, sadly!

This is the perfect place for a special meal that you won’t forget! I’ve no words for how much we enjoyed it. This was a 40th birthday celebration for my husband and Alain the waiter looked after us so well. We got the patio but I requested it months in advance and the $175 minimum spend per person was made crystal clear to me on a text message the morning before we dined. We had the 36oz Porterhouse with Mac & Cheese and crispy potatoes sides. We were stuffed full! Loads of food. My husband got a birthday surprise desert too. You need to be aware that this is a million dollar view and meal with a bill to reflect that. Have your eyes wide open to that and you will not be disappointed. One of the best dining experiences of my life (if not THE best) hands down!

Booked well in advance and travelled from the UK to be at this restaurant. I requested a table outside for my partners 30th Birthday. Was told THE DAY OF that if we wanted the patio then we were to pay a minimum of $175 per person and that even then there would be no guarantee for such table. Unfortunately because of the short notice it would have been too late to try and book another restaurant so we disappointingly accepted a table inside, however when seated we had no view at all other than the wall. We felt like we were being laughed at, from requesting a table with a view for a very special occasion to being given no view at all. It was that bad a couple sat next to us came over to say how disappointed they were for us and how they thought we had been given the worst table in the restaurant. They said that they wish they could offer us their table as they were leaving. When bringing it up with the waiter and requesting if we could have a different table we were met with a rather rude response saying that it was a great view and he didn’t know what we were talking about. We ended up walking out after asking to move tables and being refused. A special birthday meal ruined. Will not be recommending to anyone.

I was just here a few days ago, I was lucky enough to be in a wedding that was held in the Bellagio Chapel. This is where we decided to make the reservations for the wedding diner. We went down an escalator and were immediately greeted and taken to our table without a second of waiting. They walked us out onto a patio that had just a few tables and the most amazing view over looking the fountains that went up every half hour or so. There were about 17 of us .Including 2 young children that were not supposed to be in there , ( we did not know that children under a certain age were not allowed) they were part of the wedding so we were upset but they allowed us to have the children there as long as they were under their best behavior ( they were) . The waiter immediately came over greeted us and asked what drinks we would like , while he was getting the order for drinks there was another gentleman filling our waters . we had all our drinks delivered and ordered our appetizers. while we waited for our appetizers the very handsome, knowledgeable waiter came over and told us IN DETAIL about the specials . we also had questions about the sauces and other things on the menu, the waiter knew every single detail about each thing on this menu, I mean everything! He also was very knowledgeable about the wine and champagne. what a remarkable waiter ! this was amazing to all of us ! we all ordered different things from the menu , some of us ordered the surf and turf some the steak others chicken , they even had mac and cheese for the 2 children that were not supposed to be there. Food came out so fast and not one thing was wrong. There was not 1 complaint about the food ! This experience was well worth it and I would recommend anyone who is traveling to vegas , to definitely go here , you will not regret it . If your willing and able to pay a few extra bucks for a great dinner and amazing service then this is the spot !!! I recommend to everyone who goes to vegas !

I made this reservation in June for our trip in September and requested a Patio seat, like many have said, they were unable to accommodate this so we were seated indoors. The restaurant is beautiful and servers go above and beyond, i felt a little uncomfortable as i am used to more relaxed places and didnt like all the fuss but thats just personal preference, some people are maybe used to having others run after them! Haha Our meal was lovely, i couldnt fault it! We both ordered mash but the server suggested we have one as it is big portions but said he would get another quickly if we needed 2 portions. He explained the menu and said any adjustments could be made if required. Watch out for the photographer though, she took 4 photos and after our meal came over to show us, i didnt like 3 of them but one was OK. I said this to her and she said it comes in a frame with a wallet frame included. When i agreed, she then told me it was $85! and she accepts tips. Way overpriced!! The frame also included the other horrible photos too so i wont be displaying this. Maybe she should explain the prices and options before taking money!! Our table was reserved for 1.5hrs, we were at this point before dessert so didnt have time to order this and when we ordered more drinks, was told they could be taken with us, so i did feel a little rushed to move out. I get it though, they have reservations but maybe extend it to 2hrs?

We had a wonderful anniversary night dinner in July 2022 as far as food, drinks and service. We flew in from Chicago that very same day and respected the dress code listed on your website. We specifically traveled with slacks, dress shoes and a dress shirt for my husband to meet the classy requirements of your restaurant. The table to the left of us had 3 gentlemen seated for dinner who were nowhere near the required attire. At least one of them had a baseball cap as well as a hoodie. The two other men had simple tshirts on. This should not be acceptable or overlooked!! We chose this particular restaurant for our anniversary dinner and we respected the dress code and traveled that same day from Chicago. It is extremely rude towards the other guests that you bend your dress code rules just to not lose a customer!! We are very disappointed. Note: our dinner took place starting 9:00pm on a Friday night.

We had the distinct displeasure of dining at Prime Steakhouse tonight....I mean really. I give this review two stars because the service and overall ambiance was very nice. But the steaks....4 of us....could not eat them....they were shoe leather tough.....I mean we are talking these boots were made for walking...and walking....and walking tough. The only thing prime was the prices of a steak not even the Sizzler would serve. Too many better options.

Impeccable on every level. The ambiance, service, cocktails, and food were Impeccable! Absolutely immaculate! Debbie greeted me at the hostess stand. She was so very sweet and accomdating. Alain was my server and provided outstanding service. He was very knowledgeable of every item on the menu and was very thorough in explaining them to me and giving recommendations when asked. I wasn't familiar with this establishment since it was my first time dining here. Cocktails were mixed to absolute perfection. The seafood tower was so fresh! It was fantastic! My filet was prepared and cooked to the perfect temperature. The ambiance was gorgeous. Everything was top tier. I truly enjoyed my dining experience... I've heard incredible things about this place and they delivered! They absolutely did not disappoint! Thank you for an amazing first time dining experience! Highly recommended if you're in Vegas!

Been for breakfast and dinner each time has been excellent service and a decent level of food. What makes any of these places is the staff and the people here are really nice

Decided to come to Prime based on the reviews and the breathtaking views from the patio and boy did it meet and surpass our expectations! Had an earlier reservation for 6:15 and were seated promptly. Service was top notch and every plate and dessert we ordered was out of this world. A reservation on the patio means you have to spend 175pp minimum but that wasn't a problem:) Not a place we would eat every day but absolutely worth it in regards to what was delivered. The views of the fountain while eating are second to none as you're basically sitting at fountain level. Stunning and memorable for sure!

This is definitely one of those experiences in that one bad interaction ruins your night. We reserved the patio seat with a $175 dollar minimum spend for each adult. That is supposed us guarantee a good view of the famous fountain at Bellagio. The view was fine, we were a bit in the back and to the side which didn't matter that much to the adults of the party, but we had our 6 and 8 yr old with us and they were a bit too short to see the whole show. As we were sitting down, multiple people walked all the way up to the front, recorded the entire 60-second show, or took extended picture breaks. Most of that time the front couple's seating was unoccupied. So as the night progressed and we had a lull in between ordering and food service I thought it would be ok for my children to go up there and get a better view of the show. A couple sat down at the front seat a few minutes before and a grey-suited man who identified himself later as the manager asked, politely, that I needed to have my kids back at the table, his explanation was that now the front table was seating, NOBODY was supposed to be up there. I immediately called back my children as I am a follower of rules, I like rules, and rules are what make the world function. Imagine to my surprise, a train of people proceeded to stand up front, taking videos and pictures, and no one came out to stop them. Perplexed, I went inside to find this gentleman and inquired about the disparity in treatment. And to tell him, my love of rules, assuming it is applied equally. He told me, out of dozens of people working the patio area, he the manager, and maybe one other, though I never saw this mystical second manager, was supposed to confront people about being upfront. When pressed at how often he does his special, only he can do it job, he promised he will be out there frequently. We were there for another 90 minutes, and every 15 minutes there was a show, and I saw him twice during that interval. Once just missing a couple that just took half a dozen pictures up there, the other, he told one couple to sit down while giving me a look back and totally ignoring the other 2 couples on the other side. See, he is doing his special job, sort of. And I am discounting the paid photographer of the restaurant and hotel that was pretty much up there for half an hour drumming up business. To summarize, the food is excellent, the short rib is the best value, the carpaccio was awesome, and stay away from Baked Alaska as the ice cream tasted store-bought. The servers were excellent and provided advice and care. The special Manager, who I think is named Christian Umlauf, is an........ ? Once again, I love rules, but not ones that ONLY apply to my children or people of my skin color.

Exquisite meal, perfect view. Great experience. Enjoying this prime steakhouse restaurant with the perfect dance of the Bellagio fountain is just the memoir you want from Vegas!

Outstanding in every single way! We had dinner here our last night in Las Vegas. Unfortunately we had a very long disappointing tour earlier that day, so in all honesty I wasn’t even that keen on going out to dinner that night. I’m so glad my husband talked me into trying this restaurant. We didn’t have reservations, and I wasn’t wearing my preferred clothing for this type of establishment, but the hosts invited us in like we were welcomed friends, giving us options to dine at the bar or wait until a little later for a table. We chose to sit at the bar, and I’m very happy we did! The seats were surprisingly comfortable to start. We were greeted with outstanding service from Lauren (whatever you’re paying her, it’s not enough!). Then the food—what can I say that can do it justice?! I don’t think the words exist. Every single bite had absolutely perfect flavor, texture, and temperature. We’ve been lucky enough to experience some truly great meals all over the world, and this was one of the top ones, if not the best. The entire experience not only turned our day completely around, but also allowed us to leave Las Vegas on a wonderful note. Thank you, Prime—we can’t wait to return!

The Brussels Sprouts are too salty and did not present good. Otherwise, we are satisfied with the food quality. However, it makes me feel a little bit shock on the cost of two crab legs, USD71 each, which I forgot to ask before I ordered and the waiter did not tell me how much when introducing. Moreover, I am not sure about the items should be included in the Grand Shellfish Plateau as there are one lobster, three shrimps, one oyster, one mussel and one clam only."

What an amazing dinner at Prime Steakhouse in the Bellagio Hotel and Casino. Great fountain view outside table with attentive and friendly service, excellent steaks and starters, wines, and ambiance. Not inexpensive but well worth the price. Favorites of the evening were the bone-in Dry Aged Ribeye, Rib Cap, and corn soup.

Our family group of 8 visited Prime for a birthday dinner. Our table was on the patio and whilst a tad cramped, it was cosy under the heaters (very cold night) and, of course, we had a perfect view of the fountain show. It could not have been better. However, the food (for the high price) was average. I had the salmon and it was definitely overcooked. My husband had the chicken and it too was way overcooked. I cannot comment on the meals of others at our table. I am afraid we have had better meals at much cheaper restaurants. On a plus the martini’s were absolutely perfect and delicious, staff was friendly and attentive. Tread your own path.

The food was delicious and came out quickly. I enjoyed our waiter, Thierry, until he was assigned a table of “high rollers” who sat next to us once we started eating. Not only did he forget about our table entirely, but we had to flag someone down when we were ready to pay our checks, about 40 mins after we were done eating. When we inquired about this problem to Thierry, he informed us that he had been replaced by another waiter….neither of which came by to collect our payment. Once our original waiter came to collect the payment, he stood over us as we paid via the portable card machine, to ensure everyone left a tip. This was for my bachelorette trip special dinner and my feelings were hurt. I wouldn’t go back.

The view of the Bellagio fountains is magical. The food was good, but fantastic but good. The service however, was well below average and not attentive.

Went here for what was supposed to be my wedding meal with our 2 guests. We emailed ahead and had it confirmed for the patio for our wedding dinner but when we arrived it was an hour wait! They offered us inside which we took as it was already late. Strike 1. We were taken to an area where it looked like they stored the trolley tables, no view, busy area with servers rushing about. Not the special intimate celebration vibe we were going for. Strike 2. Myself and the groom sat down and noticed a member of our party didn't join us. His wife came over a few moments later and said that because he was wearing shorts they wouldn't let him in so offered to leave us to it. I was honestly so shocked and very upset. It was clearly a wedding meal, I was in my wedding dress! Our guest was wearing smart shorts and a shirt and they absolutely refused him entry and made no exception. (We got married in the Valley of Fire so shorts were needed!) What absolutely disappointed me is there were guests on the patio in t-shirts and shorts, far less appropriately dressed than we were. We asked how that can be allowed and was met with a sarcastic comment on the front desk of "lending us some trousers". Strike 3 We walked out in disgust as we were there together and I wasn't leaving a member behind on our wedding day. To top it off, a lady in daisy duke style jean shorts and baggy t-shirt got to go in for her reservation without anyone batting an eyelid. I asked if they were stopping her and was ignored. I could have fought harder but I was honestly so upset with them it was better to remove myself from the situation. At the end of the day, they didn't deserve to be part of our day any more so we left. Terrible terrible double standards. Shame on them for being so awful on our wedding evening. Would never recommend them to anyone. If I could give them no stars I would.

We were looking forward to this visit after reading about the restaurant on the web site. We arrived 5 minutes before our reservation and were asked to stand to the side until our reservation time. We were shown to our table after waiting 25 minutes. We then had temporary tables being carried through the restaurant from the patio, some being rolled as they were round . Definitely not a fine dining experience. We then had to wait 20 minutes to get a drink. Our first food arrived nearly an hour after being seated. The seafood platter was good and the steak cooked as requested. The French fries were overcooked and hard. The best however was my request for an Irish coffee which I assumed a restaurant of this quality would know how to make. Unfortunately it turned up with whipped cream out of a can with something green on the top. It was awful and I sent it back . The second attempt was even worse so I gave up. Overall it was a very disappointing experience. When in the US we make regular visits to The Palm, Capital Grill & Ruth's Chris and were expecting something at least as good. We were sorely disappointed this wasn't the case and would never visit Prime again when there are so many excellent steak restaurants to choose from in the area. At $700 for a couple not a cheap meal

The location is amazing for a view of the fountains, not cheap but a great experience. !! Staff brilliant and friendly !

I guess we had a very off experience here. we arrived in the waiter took our drink order which was fine. then disappeared for 30 minutes before I could find him to order our food. the French onion soup was watery and lacked depth of flavor. the other people agreed.. and the New York strip came it was cold, tough, and tasteless. I should have sent it back but by then I was just over everything there I guess we should have stuck with spagos as originally planned

Much Better Steak Restuarents in LV. The Wagyu strip quality was average. The Bruseel sprout eas average. The service was decent and polite but definitely better steak restuarents in Las Vegas

I had the waygu ribcap, one of the most expensive steaks I have ever got.... and it was worth every penny ! The house sauce that goes with it was to die for ! Dad got the bone in ribeye... amazing Mom got the lobster... perfect

Absolutely love this place Tabby is fantastic definitely will come here again and recommend to many of my friends. Must come and try this place.

The best steak that I have ever had in my life. I don’t think that I will ever have another steak come close. Worth every penny.

We've tried a lot of steak restaurants in Las Vegas. But the Prime at Bellagio , where we stayed for the first time last night , is now one of our top three. First of all , if you don't look at the price and want a nice evening with a great and quality food , including a nice wine selection , you are right here. Let's start with the reservation , which went off without any problems. The staff was incredibly friendly and competent. The selection of starters and main courses , is just right. Not too much and not too little. There are great cocktails and a very balanced wine list. Our starters were very delicious. My bone in Ribeye and my wife's filet mignon ,were fried to the point and served on hot plates (which is not standard in every steakhouse in LV). The only drawback when you're looking for something to complain about is the fact that that apparently there is no real espresso machine in this great restaurant. What we got as an espresso , well :-) The restaurant manager should invest a few dollars. But otherwise everything excellent , we will come back.

Last visited before its most recent renovation, even then considered one of Sin City’s most gorgeous Restaurants, PRIME Steakhouse at Bellagio has recently been under the guidance of Chef Sean Griffin whose work at Jean Georges Steakhouse proved reason enough to make reservations at the venerable institution for date night. Now with added mirrors, chandeliers and new serviceware it was at prime windowside two-top that guests were seated, the Bellagio fountains dancing at intervals while a mix of Rat Pack and old Hip Hop chimed quietly overhead. Served by a team of at least four, Sommelier John Burke still present, it was in four courses that two-hours were spent indulging; the Ingredient sourcing, portions, and preparations certainly justifying prices that seem high even by Vegas standards. Far more classic than SW or Ramsay and certainly more elegant than Delmonico or CUT, the evening began with bubbles alongside a basket of Bread preceding a trio of Appetizers from which sugar-crusted Duck Liver stood out thanks to Mangoes while thinly-sliced Beef and a vibrant Fruit Salad were also very good. No doubt a place with more than just Beef to offer, though the options for Steaks are plentiful from domestic Ribeye to Japanese A5, it was on the lady’s request that a Seafood Tower crowned by Sashimi and Caviar also proceeded Medium-rare Beef sliced tableside and delicate Sea Bass in Citrus with fresh Herbs. Also a Cheese Souffle, simultaneously light yet decadent, Sides are simple yet perfectly executed whether it be gooey Mac n’ Cheese, tempura Squash or Crucifers including Broccoli and Cauliflower each dressed to impress. Upping the ante for Dessert, almost entirely new, PRIME’s Ice Cream Pie remains alongside slices including Black Forest Cake and Lemon Pie with Meringue piled high that still have trouble keeping pace with baked-to-order Cookies.

I’ve been coming here for many many years. This is the one and only time I have been underwhelmed. Upon making my reservation, I checked the box that I would be willing to spend $175 per person to sit on the patio and when arriving there was a private party. I would have altered my dates as this is the highlight of the restaurant. I really wish someone would have let us know that the patio was unavailable that evening. I’m also sorry I did not request our favorite waiter Howard as our waiter Brandon left the whole entire experience very underwhelming. Zero personality to say the least and was very disappointed overall with the service and the food did not wow us over. We’ve never been disappointed here and have been coming several times a year. Hoping this experience does not deter us from coming again.

Food was subpar and overpriced Ribeye was tough and gristly Chicken was legs Seafood tower was awful Lobster was like rubber and overpriced Service was good Front desk girls were great

I wish I could give it 93477281818 stars. This was the best meal I’ve had in a very very long time. The service is amazing and you can see the Bellagio fountains while you dine.

We were with a group of friends. Really hard to even hear yourself talk. No a great ambience. Food very expensive, and I did not find it worth the price they charged. I don't know if I would go there again. Service was very good though.

We went here for our wedding meal and whilst I so desperately want to give it a 5 star as the food was lovely there were a few things just missing the mark… 1. On booking it was for 8 adults for a wedding meal and an infant, never were there rules on childrens ages on reservation, yet the mother of the child found a review stating 5 year old and over… on ringing concierge they said no to the baby attending. This meant they didn’t come on arriving they did state they would have made an exception so the mixed messages meant some of our party missed our wedding meal so I was gutted that this hadn’t been clarified better. 2. I understand the terrace is only if there is room etc but I had emailed concierge prior to our arrival and also written on the notes we would really like this space, sadly it wasn’t available and we didn’t even have a seat at the window, another couple were placed closer to the window so I felt like to watch the fountains I was looking at this couple. Luckily we had a small fountain show prior to them being seated so k did manage to get a photo of this before they were sat as I couldn’t after. 3. Staff were all friendly but the place lacked a little heart. Overall the food was fantastic but I was disappointment with the seating and mixed messages.

I have eaten at Prime many times. Usually with my wife or friends we are traveling with in Vegas so when I had a business meeting come up in Vegas, I suggested we meet at Prime. To be clear, the place is always packed and enjoyable and this time was no different except…..my client ordered the surf and turf special which was not on the menu. When the bill came, his entree was $300. A filet on its own was $80 so you are telling me that one lobster tail was $220 more? Just unreal. I am fairly price flexible but I will be reluctant to dine here in the future due to this not being disclosed.

Although expensive, this was easily the best food we had eaten whilst in Vegas from Prime. Our steak, sides and cocktails were exceptional. Friendly and helpful staff. Amazing views of the Bellagio fountains.

Food was great as always. There were four in our party. We all had the 8 Oz filet which was cooked perfectly. We also got the BBQ shrimp as an appetizer. Also a couple of sides. It did feel as though we were being rushed through the meal. Definitely need reservations. Expect a high tab. We don’t drink alcohol and it was over $800.00.

Our aunt and uncle took us to dinner at Prime. It was my husband's and my first time there. The service from Paul and Scott was outstanding! The food was perfectly prepared and divine. It was the ideal atmosphere to visit as it was not overly loud. Pricey, but worth it.

The service and ambience were excellent. The food quality was fair at best. My wife’s filet was barely warm, my New York strip was very chewy and little flavor. I have definitely had better steaks at outback that they are better. The food cost was extremely high. And just not what we expected at all for these prices. Ruth’s Chris is less expensive and 10 times better food.

It was ok. My wife had the shrimp cocktail and a salad. I had the ribeye. Nothing fantastic on either. I truely believe I can do a better job with a Costco steak on my backyard grill. The wine was good as expected. And of course I guess you for the location. Only wishes the food was better. Prime didn’t meet my expectations.

My husband & I & another couple were in Vegas scouting restaurants for an upcoming convention. Our two top choices were Bellagio’s Prime & The Eiffel Tower with both providing an amazing dining experience. Granted we paid extra for our seating in both locations but if you can we recommend doing so - it elevates the whole wow factor for your meal! Our table was on the outdoor patio overlooking the fountains - just an incredible view. So much so that I forgot to take pictures of all the meal! Our food was very well prepared, the presentation was lovely and everything was incredibly delicious . Service was gracious and we were not rushed at all (unlike Hell’s Kitchen).

the food here is great, but it’s the views where this place excelled, the patio is the closest you will get to the fountains anywhere on the strip! I had the soup and the filet mignon and i recommend them both! the service was also great I hope to visit again!

The food service and the ambience were all top-notch. This is clearly one of the best meals I have had in a long time. When we made the reservation, I originally made it out on the patio. I was not told about any conditions other than having to give a credit card which would be charged if I canceled the reservation with short notice. Fortunately, when I got the email confirmation of the reservation, I saw that on the patio there is a $175 minimum spend per person. We changed our reservation to inside without a problem. I think they need to make this more prominent when people make reservation reservations so that no one is surprised And bad will results. We arrived and were greeted and seated quickly. The room is absolutely beautiful with lush drapes and waiters in white jackets with bus people in blue. It is very formal and that is a nice touch, especially given the prices. The wine list is expansive and there is a wide range of bottles and and prices. Glasses of wine seem to be in the $20-$30 range. We had a bottle of Cakebread Sauvignon Blanc, and it was delicious at a cost of about $70. It was a little less citrusy and fruit forward than I am used to, but still very good. I was surprised that they did not have a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc on the menu. For dinner, we had to splurge and split the lobster Cobb salad, which was actually delicious. It was $65 for two and it was amazing. Plentiful chunks of claw and tail meat, lettuce, cherry, heirloom, tomatoes, little cubes of cheddar cheese, and not sure what else but also served with a Sriracha vinaigrette. The salad was really incredible and a great starter. Given that we had this large salad to share, we ate light for the rest of the meal. We shared a baked potato of note I had never seen a $21 baked potato before. As I said, do not look at the prices when you’re in town. It tasted pretty much like an eight dollar baked potato it was served with butter, sour cream, and chives, and it was delicious. I had the appetizer Dungeness crab cake, which was wonderful. I would’ve preferred it a little less fried, perhaps sautéed it was served on top of a sweet pea remoulade, which was amazing. It was foamy tasty and unusual. The size of the meal was perfect. I finished with a decaf cappuccino. The desserts also looked amazing but we passed. The service was really impeccable. It was team service and we primarily saw two waiters one was very authoritative and knowledgeable and function as a sommelier as well. This was a real treat. I would not hesitate to go back. Even if you need to take out a second mortgage, it’s worth it. Life is short.

My friend and I stopped by here, no reservations and were able to at at the bar for dinner. We had a lovely time! Great staff, cool steakhouse vibe & great food! We shared the steak carpaccio- yum!! I enjoyed a few too many glasses of Caymus - good wine selection as well. For dinner we shared the chicken , which was amazing!! Usually I stick with ted meat in a place like this, known for their steaks, but it was probably one of the best chicken dishes I’ve ever had! Moist, flavorful, almost too good. We also had the Brussel sprouts. Definitely a ‘must go’ place for dinner. Thank you!

I have to compliment the serving staff. Both my friend and I really appreciated the laid back professional service. We never felt rushed or uncared about. What a great team that night. We had the oysters which were delicious and the foie Gras with cherries. Followed by the dry aged bone in. I ordered medium rare and it came out more rare but no big deal. The mushroom side and truffle potato were to die for. Quick tip skip the peppercorn sauce and ask for extra soy you’ll thank you later. Thank you Prime for bucket list dinner

We had a very good dinner at this restaurant and sat outdoors in perhaps the best place possible to get, right next to the fountain. Food and service were very good. If there is anything less good to write about, it might be the Dinks who were not very good.

Atmosphere was great. Food, not so much. It started with a salad. Clearly bottled dressings. Tasted like Ken's ranch dressing. Horrible! Then, they brought out a cheddar broccoli with mint. Chef should be embarrassed. Who wants mint with cheddar broccoli? Finally, the steak was under seasoned. Really liked the fizzled onions and sauces. They promised a refresh soon. Hopefully, they will revisit some of their choices.

We enjoyed Prime very much! Our server, Rob, was outstanding. He is what I would call “a professional waiter”. It was obvious that he regards his job as a career and he takes great pride in performing it perfectly. He was graceful in his movements and very courteous and personable without taking the liberty of being overly familiar with us. Thanks to him and the whole staff at Prime for helping to make our Vegas getaway a great one. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable!

Amazing dinner experience at PRIME at the Bellagio. We were fortunate to have outdoor seating, overlooking the fountains and the Strip— views were stunning. The service, food and ambiance were unparalleled. In addition to the selections one would expect at a high quality steakhouse, they also have a vegetarian/vegan menu, and had many gluten free options. The waiter went to extremes to provide everything we could ask for, including gluten free bread, which is normally not available there. We loved it, and will be back on our next trip to Las Vegas.

Absolute beautiful view of the water fountain show throughout your dinner. Food was amazing and service are the best. Our server Thierry was amazing and sure make up for unfriendly/rude front desk. Even with the first experience from unfriendly/rude front desk when we check in, the entire experience after that was nothing but perfect. Would be great if the heater a little higher/warmer. Kind of cold/chilly even with our coat on time to time. But we definitely come back.

Went to Prime Steakhouse at the Bellagio for our anniversary dinner and it was great! The service, the atmosphere, and the decor make this a very special dining experience. The food, of course, was phenomenal as well. We shared the Tomahawk and it was so good. Cooked to a perfect medium, the steak almost melted in your mouth! It's not cheap, however, (in my opinion) it's worth it. If you're looking to have a very nice romantic dinner, eat here.

My husband and me went to the Prime for our wedding anniversary. The server (older guy) (most servers were in advanced age) I guess was bothered in some way by our accent and my (woman) attitude. We ordered some drinks, and the server thought we are done drinking he took the wine list from the table. This was first! I ordered my salad without bacon; my salad came with bacon. This is second! My husband ordered the bone-in ribeye, he got New York strip. This is the third! With few words 'This place is overrated'! Our server didn't listen, and he didn't care! That's all! A lot of money for mediocre service! By the way the whole Las Vegas changed in bad direction since we went there last time in 2009. Very expensive and on top of that everywhere and everybody wants a tip. We had the feeling we weren't in USA; we were in Mexico.

My brother-in-law visited Las Vegas back in June of this year (2023) and visited several steakhouse restaurants on and off the strip. We visited Oscars, SW, Bavette’s, and Prime. I take account when visiting a high end steakhouse everything from the initial greeting and first impression of the staff, presentation and ambiance, the service, to the preparation of the food and quality of the overall meal. When we left Prime in June, I was blown away from the service and food that I wanted to come back. We had a server named Marques and I mentioned to him that my wife and family will be returning in October of this year. This past weekend (10.14) I made reservations for Prime for me, my wife and her parents. I reached back out to Marques a few weeks prior to reintroduce myself and to see if him and his team was able to be our server staff and he was able to accommodate my request. When we stepped outside on the fountain patio, we were seated with a beautiful view of the Bellagio Fountains. My in-laws and wife jaws dropped and were in awe. Marques then came by to our table, We greeted and shook hands. He then proceeded to introduce himself to my family. He mentioned the specials, what he recommends and if there is anything that he can answer, ask away. Part of Marques’ team also included Russell and Raul, which were very professional - love the little things as in how Raul helped the ladies with their napkins, to making sure our water glass was never half empty. After ordering a few old fashions and gin and tonics, Marques surprised us with a few appetizers - Tuna Tartare, Bacon Wrapped Shrimp to mention and high recommend. Throughout our meal and dining experience, Marques and his team would routinely ask how are things and if we needed anything. They never tried to rush us out the door but the opposite - they knew we loved the surroundings and ambience, as they continued to bring more cocktails as we enjoyed watching the sun set over the strip. Marques finished the night off with a surprise dessert that even if you had the 36oz Porterhouse, you still had room for what he brought to the table. I have been to many steakhouses throughout Vegas and the US. But Prime is indeed a cut above. You can get a good piece of steak anywhere. But to have the ecosystem of service, location, attentiveness, professionalism, and quality of food - that what makes Prime a very unique place to visit and enjoy. I know that if I didn’t have Marques has my server, I still knew I would have a great impression. But Marques adds icing to the cake - a down to earth friendly, personal, funny, professional gentleman. Prime management, you have a great server that blew us away on my initial visit in June and continued that trend last weekend. This won’t be my last time at Prime - and I count the days till I get to walk through the halls of the Bellagio and head downstairs and meet a good friend of mine, Marques - knowing that him and his team will provide a second to none first class experience. Thank you again, Marques, Russell and Raul. Till next time…

Fine dining experience. Waitstaff is top notch. Very attentive. Filets can’t be beat. Cooked to perfection. The bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer is delicious although expensive. Three shrimp $36. Birthday celebration. We eat here every Vegas trip. Treat yourself to something special. Located at the Bellagio property. Fountains are visible from some tables.

Prime Steakhouse, patio seating. They seated us at the best table on the patio in my opinion. The food was extremely good as expected. We split the bacon wrapped shrimp and a side of the truffle mashed potatoes. I had the wagyu ribcap and the wife had the filet. They served us a complimentary peanut butter ice cream cake dessert and a Happy Anniversary plate with macrons. Everyone from the hostess to the wait staff went above and beyond to make our special evening magical.

My wife and have dined at Prime three times, most recently in February of 2024 so I am a bit late in writing this review, and only writing it due to a review I just completed of Javier's (and not a good review). The first visits to Prime were amazing. Excellent food, excellent service, and excellent atmosphere. And that is what you expect for this fine dining experience at this price point. However, our last visit was extremely disappointing because of the arrogant waiter who ignored us for the majority of our time at Prime. His attitude was poor and rarely checked in on us. Not acceptable so Prime is officially off our list for our annual Las Vegas vacation.

Absolutely a first class culinary experience. Treated my family of eight. Service was fantastic, food presentation perfect. This was an all around the highlight of my travels. I would recommend this restaurant highly. I am particular especially when spending $1,300 for a dining experience.

Never been more disrespected in my life in a restaurant. My son and I had our last night in Vegas and we wanted to have a nice dinner. This place looked awesome so we wanted to try. We booked our reservation for 8:45 and arrived on time. They had a line so we patiently waited. When it was our turn we stepped up to the hostess stand and to our surprise she looks at us and then just stands there and stares. We quietly wait thinking she is possibly doing something else and didn’t want to be rude. After about four minutes, someone else walks up and she addresses them with a hello and proceeds to take care of them. So after she takes care of them she then decided it’s time to take care of us. She says “we are running a few behind on reservations” so we say ok, no problem. Thirty minutes later and after multiple parties arrive and are seated, we approach her again asking how much longer it was going to be. She proceeds to say “when your table is ready, you will know”. So I politely told her to cancel our reservation and we left. I’ve never been treated this way in a restaurant and it was very embarrassing. Will never visit this establishment again

Filet (without sides ) is 81 , which is ok if it was delicious (it was kinda average). About the staff were literally all impolite, snobby. Also: forget sitting on patio without a 200 per person charge.

Nothing Prime! Save your money! You get nothing here for the grossly inflated prices you are spending! 105 dollars for a 18 oz bone/in ribeye? ( more like 14 oz, the steak was so thin!), 44 dollars for two baked potatoes? Here's some free advice for management: Give your customers a little something extra for the prices you are charging. Place a few vegetables on the plate to help dress things up , throw in a small baked potato or a few au gratin potatoes, dosent have to be alot, or perhaps a small salad? I cant tell you how ridiculous the very thin ribeye looked on dinner plate all by itself! I think your customers would feel more satisfied ( and full) after leaving your establishment. We visit Vegas alot and mostly stay at the Bellagio but this was our first and will be our last time at Prime. Strongly do not recommend your restaurant to family or anyone planning a trip to vegas.

Honestly, it's not worth the price. The meal was good quality but way too expensive. The wines are at an indecent price, while at certain "sides" it seems more like samples than real accompaniments. The service is professional but quite cold. “The icing on the cake” is that you will first be asked to commit to spending at least 175 euros per guest to maintain your reservation... If you want a restaurant in this category in Vegas, go to the SW at the Wynn instead.

The service was outstanding, Howard, was our waiter and he had good suggestions. The steak was good and well prepared, the side dishes were excellent. Just not any better for a meal than any one of many steakhouses, every bit as good, just not worth the price.

We visited Saturday the 4th of February. Overall experience was poor. 6:30 reservation (Wife in a dress and I was in dress pants and a sports jacket - ie well dressed). Hostess alerted us that we had a 2 hour time limit to finish our meal - really? Not a good start. Tried to give us the worst table for two in the restaurant - by the bussers station with absolutely zero view of the fountains or even the restaurant - even though our reservation was made 6 weeks in advance. We asked to be moved and our 2nd table was perfect. BTW the bartender (while we waited for the second table) - from Des Moines (college wrestler) was great. The French onion soup was amazing. The salad (greek) was also excellent. However the steak was absolutely awful. Here is where the restaurants name did not live up to its name. Ordered the filet medium rare and it had zero marbling and was not edible. Left it almost untouched and the waiter was not concerned. He had been with the Bellagio since it opened in 1998. End of the day - go somewhere else where they cater to locals - as this is another corporate restaurant that caters to tourists and is less than caring about tourists who may or may not return.

My aunt and uncle are regulars at the Bellagio and this is their favorite place to eat. Staff treats you like royalty. Everything is perfectly seasoned and cooked. Delicious meal and impeccable service!

Horrible…. We had this planned flr 3 months and we were 3 minutes late theh woukd sit us. Horrible…… 0/5. Screw this place

Booked to celebrate two special family birthdays whilst in Vegas. We were aware it would be eye-wateringly expensive when we booked, but a one off experience. When booking, requested a table out in the patio because of our special occasion. We were well looked after by two members of staff and forewarned that side dishes would feed more than one person. The wine list was more expensive than suited us, so ordered cocktails. Lobster cob salad for two was lovely, plenty of lobster. French onion soup was amazing. Granddaughter’s starter arrived within a clear cupboard which gave us a surprise, something which will be a memory none of us will ever forget. The steaks were sumptuous. Being on the patio with the fountains going off on a regular basis was superb. Grandma will be regaling people anyone and everyone with our experience. Now we just have to go out and get a small mortgage to cover the bill.

Fantastic meal! Great service! Great food! Best steaks we ever had. The dry aged bone in ribeye and the Mishima Wagyu rib cap we had were fantastic. the sides and salads were very good as well. The cocktails were spot on! Restaurant is very pricey but was one of the best meals we have had.

My wife wanted to try this restaurant for her birthday dinner, I made the reservation as such. Seating was timely. The website described a dress code which on our night was nonexistent; men in t-shirts, women casual. TV’s on walls with ball games. Our dining experience felt very rushed, we had 3 courses but felt the staff was pushing us through, seemed almost every time we put down a fork, they were asking if they could take the plate. Food quality was good, but no better than many other steakhouses on the high end….prices were MUCH higher. At the end of our dinner, we were trying to enjoy our drinks but when we didn’t order dessert, we received the check, which was felt to be a signal that “it’s time for you to go, we need to turn over this table”. No complementary sweet for the birthday girl, as many other restaurants do. All in all, a disappointing $350 experience for two diners. We have taken this place off our list.

If you ah e the hankering for a very good steak with all the trimmings then look no further. A wonderful place with excellent service that delivers amazing quality beef without a doubt - albeit at a price! Well worth it

Lovely dinner as usual and one of our favorite spots that we always hit while in Vegas. The atmosphere is lovely, everything on the menu is delicious. Special shoutout to our waiter, Howard who was fabulous! Can’t wait to come back in October!

Dinner with two of my best friends. The food was awesome and the service was excellent. Had the tomahawk rib eye steak and it was wonderful.

The name of the game is how can we squeeze out as much money as possible for mediocre food. The surf and turn which consisted of an 8oz filet and a stale lobster tail was $220. It’s just a bit greedy for an average dish. Of course they disguise the dish as off the menu so need to be upfront about pricing. Then there’s tipping. It used to be up to the customer. Now they simply add a tip by default for a party of 4. I don’t mind paying for good food and service. But the let food be actually good and the tip be my decision. I would never go back to Prime at the Bellagio again - simply overpriced and underwhelming.

Expected 10/10 for the amount spent. Took my 11yr old daughter for birthday dinner after seeing Cirque du Soleil O. Ordered petite filet, rib eye, mac n cheese and baked potato for sides, and one cocktail. $400 inc 20% tip. Service was fine, taste was fine, nothing special. Requested to sit in outdoor area by the fountain water show but seated inside, across room from windows, with only obstructed view of fountains. It was nice they sent over complimentary birthday cake but it was a sliver, perhaps less than a sliver, two maybe three bites. Really expected more for $400. Do not recommend. Had an amazing dinner for four at Joe’s Stone Crab for half the price! Go there instead.

My wife and I dined here on the evening of her 30th birthday. The staff were welcoming and we were seated right away which was great. Our waiter was good and service was good. I would've liked to be sat in the terrace to mark the occasion but we weren't which was disappointing. Service did seem quite rushed. We had barely finished starters and other staff members were standing there with the mains. The food was very overpriced. We both had filet mignon and fries. Both were so salty. The only taste in my mouth was salt. The wine list is huge but be careful when ordering, there are bottles that cost $$$$'s. One in particular was $35000! From being seated to leaving the restaurant after 3 courses. We were in and out in just over an hour and $500 lighter.

This restaurant has to be the best restaurant in the bellagio, the staff was so friendly and welcoming and the dinner that was served was absolutely phenomenal ! You have a perfect view of the fountain view if you do request to eat outside and the pro for eating outside is that the restaurant does provide cold air throughout so your not to hot and not to cold.

We have dined at Prime for many years and is as wonderful as always. The wait staff is incredible and the food was delicious. They have done a refresh on the place and it looks great. Depending where you get seats does make a difference if you get to see the fountains or not. They do a very high volume as a lot of people want to dine here. We will return.

I sat at bar as I was alone. Bartender was great and drinks were perfectly made. I ordered 2 lobster tails, potato and Brussels sprouts. Lobster was rubbery and not very tasty. Sides were ok. 2 old fashioneds were excellent. Total bill before tip $326. Prices in Las Vegas are out of control.

Wonderful! Impeccable restaurant. We were delighted with the food and the service. It's worth the price of the restaurant. Everything impeccable! I ate wonderful sea bass and my husband ate meat that was divine. It is worth it

Visited this restaraunt last week, food was very nice, however, the waiters were very pushy in trying to get you to have wine with your dinner, please, we understand that wine is a big profit margin for yourselves, but people are mainly there for the food. Service 2/5 dissapointing

This spot is great for good service and amazing food!! Our waiter had over 16 yrs of experience knowledge on wine and listened to our needs. The vegetales were cooked perfectly, The daily special was a great option and the porter house for two was enough for two. Make reservations 30 days in advance. Pricey but worth it!!!

When I made the reservations, we were not told of a per person minimum. When we get there, the hostess lowers her voice and asks. "Can you meet this requirement?" My guests were not ordering what they wanted. They were meeting a per person minimum and doing math! Service was horrible. Took the waiter 30 minutes to approach us. Heater was scolding. We were told they couldn't lower it, and then an hour later, someone came out with a remote and lowered it. The to go container was thrown on our table. The manager's fix was to offer her card for when we dine there next time.....no thanks. Never again.

Not the greatest place for a nice meal. Felt rushed ( not sure how many times they have to keep topping up your wine glass) Steak was ok, but certainly not the best. You are paying for the view, but the view is not visible from the middle of the restaurant. A disappointment really

Honestly we got an Austrian steak instead of Argentinian the waiters want to sell you stupid make the nice waiter the nice ask stands around in the end you are also cheated 16Euros more paid .

A dining experience to remember. Ambience : elegant/sophisticated Service :prompt, friendly, on point Food : high quality and delicious If you’re looking for a great steakhouse experience then Prime at Bellagio is excellent choice. Reminder there is $175 per person expectation to dine here . There is also a dress code . Beautiful outdoor dining available with views of Bellagio fountains and other Vegas attractions .Reservations are required. Excellent choice for upscale steakhouse experience.

Now I’ve eaten a lot of steaks, and not one came close to this place. It was truly incredible. The service was awesome, the food brilliant, and with the fountains in the background, the experience was something else. It was also my birthday and they gave me a free desert. Quality from the start to finish. I highly recommend this restaurant. Don’t listen to the bad reviews.

Kudos to my sister for choosing this elegant restaurant for my early birthday celebration! Such a wonderful treat! When she made our reservation, she requested an inside table with a view of the fountains. Our table was perfect! It was so nice to walk into this beautiful restaurant and see people who enjoyed dressing for an evening of cocktails, delicious food, wine and excellent service. The shrimp cockatil and bacon wrapped shrimp were delicious! I preferred the shrimp cocktail as it was tasty but lighter. The filet was amazing, cooked to perfection and a generous portion. Our server allowed me to sample three different sauces. The frizzled onions arrived cold, we didn't complain as I just wanted a few bites. The mushrooms arrived warm, not hot. Again we didn't complain as I just wanted a few to go with my steak. The side dish portions are huge - enough for four people! My sister mentioned this was an early birthday celebration for me. At the end of our meal I was presented with a plate that had written in chocolate syrup "Happy Birthday " with my name two macaroons on it. The service was wonderful!

The view from inside was the best part of the experience. They present themselves as a high class, high end restaurant??? Well people with t shirts, shorts and ball caps in the dining room promotes nothing about high end fine dining!!! The steak was very undercooked and quality was average for the entire meal. Would definitely NOT return and steer people away so they do not overspend at this restaurant!!!

Prime was amazing! If you’re looking for a top-notch steakhouse in Las Vegas, this is it! The staff is phenomenal - everyone from the hostesses to the whole waitstaff are incredibly friendly and attentive. There’s none of the new “I’m better and cooler than you” attitude that you find in so many Vegas restaurants these days. We were sat inside but there was still a great view of the fountains. For appetizers, I ordered the Onion Soup and my husband had the oysters, both were amazing! Genuinely, one of the best soups I’ve ever had! Our steaks were incredible - my filet was cooked perfectly and cut like butter. The sauces were to die for and the sides were delicious. We had mashed potatoes and brussels sprouts. Sides are normally just sides in my opinion but I could have just eaten both as a meal. They topped it off with equally impressive desserts! The crème brûlée was heavenly and my husband said it was the best cheesecake he has EVER had! A must visit for a steak in Vegas!

My husband and I have been hesitant to try Prime. We have been to Vegas many times and was worried that it was an over priced tourist trap. Well we were definitely wrong! This place does not disappoint. We have been to several steak houses and this place is at the very top! The service was impeccable and the food was made to perfection. Atmosphere was amazing and definitely worth it!

An excellent meal and 5-star service. One of my favourite steakhouses on the strip. Recommended for all families, including those with picky chilren. Tip: Make reservations in advance to ensure a spot.

The restaurant is situated on the ground floor of the Bellagio Hotel. The water view outstanding is stunning and makes for a great ambiance as long as it is not too cold. Our waitress Rebeka was outstanding! And, we were gifted two glasses of Champagne from management which made us feel welcomed as the only Black customers in the place. The food was good and we left wanting to return.

Incredible food. Party of 8. Everyone has great meals. Peppercorn steak came with a red onion compote that was incredible. Very good service and ambiance. Dont miss going to this gem.

I was really looking forward to a nice steak dinner at Prime…until we were there. There were 16 of us at two tables and they sat us next to each other (8 per table). The place looks nice, for sure. Why such a low rating then? 10 minutes went by and still no one had taken our drink order. We started wondering what was going on. 15 minutes…still nothing. Ultimately, it took over 20 minutes(!) for someone to come by to even take our drink order. I ended up going to the bar to get my own. I didn’t pay attention to how long it took to get our dinner order, but it was a while, as well. I’ve been very fortunate in my life and have had all kinds of fine dining experiences all over the world. I’ve had many long dinners that take several hours, but this was different. It wasn’t a 7 or 10 course meal. This was a bunch of waiting around for a completely inattentive waiter. Two of my friends worked at Applebees in their teenage years and joked that the service there was better. The other table was really frustrated, as well. My steak was supposed to be medium rare, but instead I was served a medium steak. Normally I wouldn’t care mych, but for a $100 steak, they should at least get the temp right. In total, we spent over $4,000 on dinner and not one person from our group had anything good to say about the experience. We will not be back, and would recommend you find a different fine dining experience. There are many others to choose from that are much higher in quality and attentiveness.

It’s our Anniversary! We had a wonderful time last night. All the staffs really nice and take care of us. My husband ordered glass of wine so I can tell he really enjoyed it. I didn’t see any drinks that I liked from the menu but one of their service teams had offered me Jasmine cocktail which is I really enjoyed. We had Seafood Plater for an appetizer. My husband had Lamb Chops for dinner and also Truffle Mashed , I ordered Filet for my dinner. We was gonna order dessert but we desire not to . The service bought Cheese Cake for our Anniversary. I can’t ask for more. Thank you everyone their that made our special

We went out to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary. Married there in Vegas. I saw people under-dressed allowed in the Restaurant. One older lady had on gray sweats, too short and riding up her backside. She was let in with other people in gym attire? But, what got my goat, sort of speak, was the non-friendly-non-welcoming staff. Especially the Hostess, Waiter and Busser. I ate half a salad, and went to Scarpettas for my meal. I see why this restaurant is rated so low. Check here on Trip Advisor!

What a place! Located in the Bellagio hotel with fabulous views of the fountains, this is an absolute must when in Las Vegas and booking is essential. We loved it so much we visited twice and had the same meal both times - outstanding. If you want to sit on the patio, the expectation is to spend $175 per person. We were lucky to be seated at a fantastic window table (we requested the same table for our second visit and were delighted that they could accommodate). With clear views of the ‘dancing’ fountains, this for us was the best table in the house. The service was exceptional, the food just as good. We both enjoyed fillet mignon, which was probably the most delicious piece of steak I have ever eaten, served with a variety of sauces: béarnaise, red wine, peppercorn and horseradish and yes you get all of them. Our sides were dauphinois potatoes and jacket potato. The potato at $21 is steep, however it is served with toppings: butter, sour cream, bacon pieces and chives, literally the toppings would last you for a week. The decor is sophisticated and they do have a dress code, which doesn’t appear to be strictly enforced for the gents. For us ladies, it is an excuse to put a posh frock on. A very memorable couple of evenings spent in stunning surroundings with the most delectably delicious food. Highly recommended.

Great view of the Bellagio fountain show. Awesome steaks. Very attentive service. A but pricey for a family dinner but we only line once!

What a splendid treat! The food, the ambiance, the music, the service… all exceptional. I’ll be back next trip to Vegas! Well done!!!

Having been at next door neighbor Picasso many times, and each time has been an excellent experience, we figured it was time to try Prime, so we booked online with a request for patio seating. When we arrived in June, the first information from the hostess was was, "Welcome, just to let you know on the Patio we do have a minimum of 175 USD per person and a maximum time of 2 hrs.". We found this an odd way to welcome a guest/customer, and why are these conditions not just presented at the time of booking? We do not mind the minimum, fair enough, the 2 hr. thing is not really what you would expect from a top-end restaurant, but at least inform customers when they book. To begin with, the service was excellent from "Waiter 1" who took care of us up to around the time of the serving the appetizer, where "Waiter 2" appeared for some reason and took over. It appeared as if "Waiter 2" was in charge of the countdown clock ticking down from the allotted 2 hrs., because the pace picked up franticly, with wine being poured all the time as if to expedite our consumption. My wife finished the course a bit before me, and within 5 sec her plate was gone and new cutlery placed for her, and me ( I was not done) by reaching in over my plate and placing it ( Presumably to ensure I saw it ? ). We did check the countdown clock at this stage and we still had time, we thought, so we asked for a break before dessert/coffee. No less that 3 times thereafter "Waiter2 " asked if we wanted our coffee now, upon the third ask we had enough and asked for the check and just skip desert/coffee. Shortly thereafter "Waiter 1" showed up again, trying to get us to stay for dessert, but we left. We never got the final count on the countdown clock, but I think we made it out in time, and we will not back , from now on its Picasso only at Bellagio On the food: The appetizer and steaks were OK, but at a price of 100 USD for a Filet + one side, "OK" is just not good enough, and compared to f.ex Mon ami Gabi across the street Prime is way overpriced.

I have visited Prime every time I have come to Vegas. I will not be returning after this evening. The food was sub par and the service was equal. When I first approached the reception desk I was asked to wear pants versus shorts which I complied with. The assistant manager was rude and pompous. He was combative with a, member of our party and simply acted unprofessionally We ate our meal, spent $800, received sub par service at one point having to refill our own water glasses because we were simply not being serviced properly and being left without any beverages for a long time. Upon paying our bill and tipping very fairly considering the service we received I decided to speak to the general manager. I was met with the same pompous attitude and general lazy and unprofessional demeanor. The general manager could careless about our experience and how we were treated. The food was also not near the quality received at previous visits. This place is going downhill and the management needs an attitude check. Will not be returning.

We went to dinner our first night at this restaurant and we had a great time. Starting with the hostess who gave us a place at the bar, she was very kind because we arrived an hour before our reservation. The attitude of the bartender is incredible. The waiter's service was very good and above all he described each dish we ordered very well. The quality of the food is top notch, everything is very delicious. The wine we ordered was very good (Jordan) but I think the sommelier needs a little more fine service when serving the wine. We will definitely return!!

We got off to a slow start: no one came to Take our order for over 20 minutes, and it took over half an hour to get our drinks. We were informed that we'd be assisted by a team of 3 (!) servers, who were always very pleasant but not always there when we needed them. We didn't feel well attended to. Our salads were good but not exceptional, especially given the high price. Our filets, however, were the best we've tasted in a long time; they were the highlight. They were exceptionally tender and flavorful, cooked just right.

I've been coming to Vegas 2-4 times per year for the last 25 years. I have often dined here and always enjoyed the food & service. But after my last experience...never again. Made reservations several weeks ahead of time for our party of four. We arrived and were seated on the patio. Very cool touch, I thought. However we were immediately blown away at the prices. I had expected them to be high, but these prices were even higher than what pulled up on the Google menu. For example, Google shows $89 for an 18 oz ribeye. The menu at the restaurant had it for $136. We picked our collective jaws up off the floor, and since we had already ordered ridiculously overpriced drinks, each couple decided to split a steak. That way we could order sides & dessert and not totally break the bank. Our waiter arrives and takes the order for my wife and I. He has a puzzled look on his face, and asks if we're aware of the $175 per person minimum charge for sitting on the patio. I was like um, no? He said if we didn't each spend $175, the bill would be adjusted up to that amount. I called a manager over, and after some back & forth, she very nicely agreed to move us to a table inside (unsurprisingly, it was located right next to the very busy kitchen door). The prices inside were the same as outside, so each couple ordered a $136 steak to split. Side dishes at Prime are large enough to split so each couple did that as well. We had generally decent service inside, but when we ordered dessert, in a condescending manner the waiter suggested that maybe we should order one dessert and four spoons. Hey Vegas, you wonder why people aren't flocking to your city anymore? It's because of crap like this. You guys have finally discovered the Law of Diminishing Returns. I know very few families who want to plunk down $700 minimum for a steak dinner. Just a few years ago, a ribeye at Prime was $49. I didn't appreciate the waiter's rude remark either. I wonder how often he can afford to eat there?

Had some free time before seeing "O" at the Bellagio and wanted a comfortable sit down meal, so I selected Prime since it was highly rated and conveniently located. I was by myself for the meal. Service is very attentive, with multiple servers keeping constant watch. The decor is unique and a bit dark, but pleasant. The background music, while not intrusive, was somewhat unnecessary for an upscale place. To start I had the Bacon wrapped shrimps where were quite good. The supplied bread was decent although nothing special. I selected the "surf and turf" special, with side of mushrooms. The lobster tail was larger than average and nicely cook, not chewy like some places. The medium rare steak was exactly that and tender. The 3 choice choices were a nice addition, and they in house ginger/soy sauce went well. The mushrooms were a disappointment though as they were overly salty and did not go well with the dinner. For dessert I had the warm chocolate cake with coconut ice cream. A good match and very tasty. Overall it was a good meal with very good service, but for the very high cost (over $200 for single person with no alcohol) I expected something truly exceptional which alas this was not.

Restaurant located in the Bellagio hotel. Elegant, formal atmosphere beautifully decorated. Efficient and attentive service. I ate delicious foie gras and the meat and side dishes were also very tasty. My best dinner in Las Vegas

A group of us went for a night out.... We were a group of 8 and we all agreed that the food was way overpriced and did not live up to expectations. Steaks were average at best and sides were ok ... not somewhere we would return to

What an absolute stunning restaurant. The staff, all the way from the general manager on down were friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about the menu. I was lucky enough to try duck a l’orange which was cooked to perfection. The duck was a new menu entree and I already want to go back for it again. If you want to be wined and dined in old Vegas style Prime is the place to go.

This place is amazing. The best meal in Vegas. The meal is more than food it is an experience, food, service, ambiance. A must.

Me and my fiancé went to this restaurant to celebrate our engagement, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Ales was our waiter, he’s very polite and gives the best recommendations on foods and drinks. We got the coconut mojito that was absolutely the best drink we had in the 6 days we spent in Key West. Thank you so much for making our special night even more special!

I booked this restaurant for my husband’s 40th birthday as I wanted us to have a luxury experience, however Prime was a total disappointment. We were seated at a lovely window table with fountain views, which was great, but this is where the good points end. We waited 10 minutes for our server to take a drinks order, and the longer still for a food order. An hour and 10 minutes passed after ordering and we still had no food at all. At this point the waiter brought over a free appetizer and said they had overcooked our steak and were redoing it. Even so, we had still waited far too long at this point. A further 20 minutes went by, so we had been waiting 1.5 hours and no food. At this point we felt like our evening had been ruined. Considering that the bill for our meal was going to be around $500, the service was equally important as the food, but the service had been beyond poor. We told the host that we wanted to leave at that point, having had no dinner. The manager came over and did not apologise either. We were left feeling that this restaurant is an overrated tourist trap.

We received a friendly welcome but I am very disappointed with the service. I know with such a star cuisine , that when you sit down at the table water is poured in directly and after that when you have placed an order bread and butter are brought to the table. We once had a small appetizer and with it a main course ordered a beer and a cocktail. The beer and cocktail came after about 30 min wait and still no water and as you know from the kitchen that bread and butter. After about 45 minutes our cocktail finally came the beer and then the waitress finally poured us water. After we have already received our drinks. We waited a bit longer and watched the water feature. After about 1 hour our order finally came but still no bread. Then we addressed the waiter (Therrie) if we could not get bread? For all the tables around us had bread and butter. The older waiter looked and looked evil and came after a few minutes with the bread and butter. Well, the starter (burrata) was quite ok but the main course (sea bass with mashed potatoes) was very good. The service unfortunately sucks. It's a shame. And watch out for online Booking Referral: if you want to sit outside it costs you about 250 PER PERSON. If you order under 400€ to eat, then in our case you pay 200€ fine for not reaching the minimum consumption amount. I really have to say, after such a service, I lost all appetite and just wanted to leave. Service is essential!

Having the fountain right there while eating was a great experience. The food was ah mazing and the staff went above and beyond.

The service was excellent. Restaurant decor outstanding. Wonderful service. Good wine and potatoes. However the filet was below average. Have gone to Ruth’s Chris, Eddie Ave, Eddie Merlots, Capital Grill and Hyde Park all of which had better filets than this restaurant. The filet was bland. Was served with three sauces. IMO if I have to use a sauce on a filet it’s not a good filet and I had to use the sauce! Gratin potatoes were outstanding but at $81 for filet it just didn’t cut it. I’d try somewhere else.

Second time to Prime in the last two months. Out of a ridiculous amount of great steakhouses I have been to over the years in LV, Prime to me is currently #1 which is saying a lot vs. the competition there. Yes you will pay a premium. But if you have the money and love truly great food and service, this is the place to me. Shout out to our great server from France (sorry forgot name) and to Kenny as well. Superior service. Great job guys and I will be back!

Now let me start this by saying I've done steak, hell I've done even done streak in multiple countries. Prime steak is a special kind of steak. Maybe it was the view of the fountain show as we ate (we'll come back to that) Maybe it was the company, I love my other half and always enjoy Maybe it was the blue-cheese crust topping or fine wine All I know is Prime was an experience you should not pass up on, now for the con. Apparently there is a 'whole thing' about being sat next to a window to see the show (which I can understand as it's prime seating.. du-dum-tishh) but when we arrived, I'm not sure about the staff's attitude. It was quite laissez-faire at being there if I'm totally honest, although outwardly kind. When we arrived, we were told there was a wait on a table but they can give us a potential seat now and if we don't like it, we can come back in around 30 minutes. Upon seeing the table, we opted to wait and there was a slight, just slight, tinge of annoyance in the hosts attitude which I picked up on - again not enough to dstract from the experience but worth nothing

High quality ingredients, well cooked. Basic steakhouse fare with high quality ingredients. Service ok but not exemplary. Decor sumptuous. Was perplexed about the standard of dress as there were many in jeans, old polos, tee shirts with writing on and shorts. The website states business casual. I was told by the waitstaff that it really means no swim shorts or bathrobes and that as the patio could get to over 90 degrees shorts were ok. I would actually prefer for the website to be clearer on what should be worn. I think the restaurant is fine for a fun meal but definitely not conducive to a romantic dinner.

Michael how server was wonderful. He was funny and respected and very nice. Love the atmosphere and the environment. Will definitely love to return next time I am in the area.

Overly pretentious steak house. Poor value for money. Paying $80 for a steak is fine if it is exceptional but this is anything but. The staff are surly and rude. You are told that gentlemen cannot wear shorts but I think smart suit style shorts and shirt are much smarter than the many men in there in baggy, shapeless jeans and tshirts. If there is a strict dresscode it should be adhered to but they only seem bothered about seeing the bottom of men's legs!! Anything else goes. They act like it is so difficult to get a reservation but when you turn up the place is half empty. Chewy steak and expensive average sides. Would not recommend and would not return. We went to Jasmine's oriental restaurant the day after which is just next door and also has fantastic fountains views. Amazingly different experience with friendly staff and fantastic food.

We were looking for a good steak and a place to celebrate our anniversary, Prime Steakhouse was perfect. Our table was not next to the window yet had a decent view of the fountains. The staff was dressed better than most of the patrons, and their attitude and professionalism was a step above most restaurants. They did not try to up sell, very knowledgeable about the wine, great timing on bringing out our different courses, I really could not complain about any of the employees. We went super old school comfort meal and got the chopped salad, filet mignon, creamed spinach and French fries. Every single dish, most importantly the steak, melted in my mouth. It was one of our most favorite meals in Vegas and we go a few times a year and just had not tried Prime yet, our mistake. The only thing I found lacking was they did not offer any good mocktails, so many nicer restaurants are incorporating some fun non-alcoholic drinks on their menus. I think it would be a great addition to an already wonderful restaurant.

Booked our experience almost 3 months in advance and was blown away by the entire evening!!! Our server Michael and team were spot on this night, anticipating our every want and need. Our reserved table selection may go down as the best we have ever had in Vegas! The fillet was exceptional but the sea bass “ WAS” the best we’d ever eaten. Then came the dessert”s” and what an event in itself that was! Yes, on the higher end of Vegas dining but well worth it in our quest for Vegas’ finest dining experience. 4 people just under $1,000. We will be back and soon.

Wonderful Steakhouse with great Bellagio Fountain views. We had a window seat and got the full action of the Fountains at sunset. It was beautiful. All while enjoying a top notch steak. My guest ordered the Baked Potato and they brought out all the mixings on a cart and prepared it table side. My side was perfectly prepared carrots. Cannot forget to mention the French Onion Soup as appetizer, it is the best. Professional & nice staff, great views, steaks cooked to perfection. Prime it is!

We made a reservation for two ahead of time, however they pointed out that they could not guarantee a table in the patio and even if a patio table was available that a charge per person would be minimum $175. At the set reservation time, Sonia, the hostess/manager, said they had the table but wanted to make sure we were to consume the $175 per person minimum. This reflects the lousy service, and food quality! They expect the customer to insure a minimum consumption ticket without even knowing where the table is, how the food is and how the service will be liked. There are many more excellent stake restaurants in Vegas that do not treat customers with a hammer!

We received the same text as others have done about the minimum spend ($175pp) to sit outside on the terrace, but when we enquired about a fountain view inside, they were happy to sit us there without that requirement. And the fountain show IS very special, the style of it changes every 15 minutes, so you could be listening to waving fountains synched to opera/ pop or classical music and the patio is the place to see them. The food was fine. Probably the best dish we had was the tuna tartare, but the dressing needed to be a little sweeter. Seafood platter was okay, prawns had been overcooked though and were tough. We had a side of broccoli - which was unnecessarily covered in a thick cheese sauce and the roasted carrots were too sweet. It's not somewhere I'd choose to eat without the view, but with it, it probably was worth the price tag. It does need the exec chef to sit down and review all the dishes as a few tweeks would improve the food immeasurably.

Second visit here and contrary to other reviews, definitely worth the money. The waitstaff are beyond friendly and helpful. Steaks are excellent. They do have a two hour time on eating, but it never takes us that long and didn’t feel rushed at all. Had the 8oz filets and baked potatoes. Had the bacon wrapped shrimp for an appetizer.

All in all a pleasant meal here. The steak was cooked beautifully and the starters were really tasty. Only issue here was the fries - $20 for a portion of fries and the portion was absolutely huge ( enough for 4 people) Mac and cheese was the same. My suggestion would be for servers to inform guests that sides are sharing size or reduce the cost of the sides and make them an actual normal sized portion for 1 person.

My niece took me to this restaurant for my birthday. 9/22/25, our reservation was for 5pm we arrived a little earlier so we had to wait outside. As they open promptly, at 5 pm. The food & experience was a 10 out of 10. Our server provided recommendations for drinks, I usually get a lychee martini, they don’t have those his recommended was comparable and delicious. We had a party of 4 everyone enjoyed themselves the portion sizes are big enough for you to take food home with you. Next time we in Vegas same time same place!

Travelled to Las Vegas from the UK (2 people) over a long weekend in August. After a horrendous experience at STK at the Cosmopolitan and cancelling the reservation at the desk after making us wait 45 minutes even with a reservation, we made a last minute booking at Prime Steakhouse for 9.15pm on Friday. We checked in at the desk with a friendly member of staff and were taken quickly to our seats and greeted by our waitress Lisa, who was excellent. Lisa took us through the dinner & drinks menu and made some recommendations. We both ordered fillet steak, with a side of fried and mushrooms, and cocktails. Everything was outstanding and the atmosphere at Prime was classy, elegant but yet still upbeat with some background music. After being forced to make a last minute cancellation at Prime last year due to a 3 hour long passport control queue, we were very glad we finally made it to Prime, and would recommend to anyone looking for a meal at a steakhouse! A first class experience from beginning to end. Thank you!

This place was expensive but it really was worth the price. I got the bone in ribeye (not dry aged). I ordered it blue and it was cooked exactly like I prefer. It was one of the best steaks I have ever had and it should have been because it was expensive. The soy- rice wine sauce really topped it off. My wife's filet mignon was very tender. Sides were excellent. Our servers did a great job. They were reserved (low key), which is what you would expect at a restaurant like this. We had a nice view of the fountains.

The restaurant is gorgeous inside, but there is so much going on from waiters pushing food carts, staff pushing chairs around and just so many people in general walking back in forth. All the commotion gave my husband and I anxiety. We had to wait quite a while for each of our courses. Food was good, but definitely wouldn’t go back.

Service was terrible. My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary on August 24th. My steak came out rare. I ordered it well done, so it had to go back. My wife's lobster dinner was ok. They forgot her baked potato though. Unfortunately until they brought my steak out she was already done eating her dinner. Prime has a ton of servers, which is no excuse for this service. We were celebrating a special anniversary and ate our dinners separately. Our bill was $393, plus a $75 tip. I will no longer go to Prime. My wife and I use to make 4 or 5 visits when in Vegas. Once again for the 4 diamond restaurant it use to be the service was unacceptable, especially when shelling out almost $500 for dinner. Also, l've gotten surveys each time we've been to Prime, except this last time when the service was so terrible. Don't waste your money there's lots of fine restaurants in Vegas who will appreciate your business. D&G

I'll start the review by saying that rarely does someone go out of their way to write a positive or neutral review... 3 Months ago I booked a table at Prime for our 25th anniversary and requested a table on the patio. I left my email address and phone number and asked that if there was anything I could do to secure the reservation on the patio I would be happy to do so. Fast forward to last week...not having heard anything back I felt confident that it was a special enough event and they understood our reasons for choosing their restaurant for our celebration. I was very, very wrong. We arrived and were told no patio, I inquired about my request and the person at the desk, who could not have been less interested, told me that it is their policy if you want a table on the patio, to secure it you must pay in advance, which I happily would have done if only they had communicated this me. I was very unhappy to say the least. They seated us in the restaurant, not even close to a window, which might have been a compromise. Eventually the manager came over to tell me that he had heard I was unhappy so I told him exactly and in no uncertain terms how I felt. To his credit, they quickly set up a table for two on the patio and we were moved. He also picked up the tab for our cocktails so I feel he did what he could to remedy a very disappointing situation. At the end of the day, the food was very good, the service was only ok and the booking process flawed. This is not an inexpensive restaurant and they are self described as best in class so I guess my expectations were high. Again, the manager did his best to rectify our poor initial experience but to be honest I've had better steak without all of the hassle and in just as nice of a venue, minus the fountains. It isn't likely I will go back, but if you decide to go be prepared for pompous wait Staff, at least a $600 meal for two people, with a marginally good bottle of wine which has been marked up to well over 4x the shelf price. And maybe....maybe not they will honour your requests for seating.

PRIME Steakhouse offers an exceptional dining experience with top-quality steaks, elegant ambiance, and impeccable service. Their attention to detail and exquisite dishes make it a premier choice for a luxurious meal.

This is a top tier steak house. Everything from service to food to ambiance is excellent. The menu is medium sized so there is something for everyone including vegetarians. Like all fine dining steak houses the entrees do not come with sides and the sides are pricey.

We booked Prime for my birthday, we had a fantastic table with a great view of the foundations. i would recommend making a reservation in advance. The fresh bread basket was so good, drinks and the main course also fantastic. Will return!

The Prime in Bellagio is always a winner for me and my husband. We were married at the Bellagio and always like to spend some time at the resort’s various restaurants. Prime staff is always attentive, informative and there to ensure your dinning experience is top tier. The food was delicious (as usual) and the drinks did their thing. Love Prime Steakhouse and will return every time we’re in Las Vegas.

Pretty disappointing especially given the cost. The menu was very limited and inspiring. Our waiter was sullen but not unhelpful. However, it was the quality of the food that was the worst bit. I had the bacon wrapped prawn. I am not quite sure how you over cook prawns but they did. The short rib were fine but nothing special. We decided not to have dessert given the poor level of cooking. Ultimately you go here for the view and we were not allowed on the terrace as they had a private event. If you don't have that you would never go for the food.

My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at Prime during our recent trip to Las Vegas, and the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. I reached out to the restaurant weeks in advance to book a table for two at 7:00 PM, specifically requesting a spot on the patio to enjoy the stunning view of the Bellagio fountain display. The restaurant promptly replied, confirming our booking but noting they couldn’t guarantee a patio location. However, luck was on our side that evening, and we were seated exactly where we had hoped for right up to the waters edge for a fantastic view From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and made us feel truly welcome. As for the meal, it was exquisite—every dish was prepared to perfection, from the appetizers to the main course. The flavours were outstanding, and the presentation was elegant, living up to the restaurant’s well-deserved reputation. The combination of the breathtaking view, the refined ambiance, and the exceptional food made this a dining experience to remember. While Prime is certainly a premium restaurant, the price reflects the quality of the experience in every way. If you're looking for a memorable evening in Las Vegas, Prime is the place to be.

Nice atmosphere and good place in Bellagio to see water show, but expensive. Service was not on par for money spent. We did not want any wine so maybe we did not spend enough money.
The fountain show was awesome!!!
The food was incredible but our view of the Bellagio fountains was the best part. We sat right by the windows and it was incredible!
