Great Place to eat

By wjkiii76 |

This was a surprise find. I was staying in the Marriott next door. This is like a little neighborhood Italian restaurant in Jersey. The food is absolutely delicious. After the first nigh, I decided to come back the second night in town. The staff is quick and friendly. There may be other good Italian places in Miami but this one is without a doubt outstanding. The locals even come, not just the tourists (like me.) I will go again next time in Miami.

A must!!

By Drich7983 |

From my experience, restaurants in hotels are usually basic or not good. However, this food was amazing, as well as the ambience and decor. I ate here twice in one day, and then forced myself to try something different in the city. The staff is friendly; pasta , crust, and sauces are made in house. The portions were good for the price as well. I would definitely recommend this place!!

Pleasantly surprised!

By Pineapples-a-Plenty |

Met a colleague for an impromptu lunch, and found Primo's to be a very respectable choice. Small, cozy space, and nicely appointed. We had two different salads, and both were terrific. The quinoa was superb. Enjoyed with a nicely prepared piece of tuna. The service was very good. Friendly. Helpful. The only issue? Hate having flies buzzing around when trying to enjoy a nice lunch.

Customer Service is Key

By Holly L |

Kriss from Primos was an awesome host to my wife and I mans the food was brought out quickly. The hotel has been lovely and we have enjoyed MIA!

Convenient stop

By Sandra H |

This place has little seating but very nice. It has a full bar and server was attentive. They food was so so but we had a nice time. It was also our free breakfast place from the Hilton for being a Hilton Honors member.

Breakfast before cruise

By Angie G |

We found this place while looking for a more affordable option than what our hotel offered. It was hidden in an attached shopping area connected to our hotel, The Marriott Biscayne Bay. There were 4 of us who decided to try this before checking out and heading towards the pier to board our cruise. It was very clean, the server was friendly and the menu reasonably priced. Most breakfast items were under $10. The 4 of us ate for under $45.

Yum

By GPLew |

Here by myself for a few days and staying at Doubletree. Primo’s is connected and right by the front entrance. Checked menu on my way in and saw a number of veals(my fav). Came back later in the evening and had good local beer, shot of Basil Hayden and a special for the evening, a veal Florentine. Again I say Yum! Juan was a very professional waiter. Will eat here again.

Enjoyable Dinner

By Richard |

During a recent trip to Miami, staying at the Double Tree Grand, I wanted dinner within a short walk and thought I’d try Primos. I ordered the Promos special chicken dish prepared with a brandy cream sauce. This was an enjoyable dinner, prepared well, a very nice variation to typical chicken dinners. Service was pleasant and prices reasonable for downtown Miami.

Spontaneous Supper

Tasty, quick and friendly! Oscar was an excellent server and his recommendations were awesome! Highly recommend!!!

Fantastic Food, Service Not So Much!

By J.R. Rosa |

We went for an early dinner at this restaurant. I ordered rigatoni with alfredo sauce and my wife ordered the seafood spaghetti. Both dishes were over the top. I could eat there every night. If we ever get back to Miami, we will be sure to go. We also ordered the tartufo for desert. Everything reminded me of the time when I lived in Italy. On the downside our waiter was not very good. It seemed like he liked to talk to his buddies rather that wait on tables. That said, food wins over service.

Normal

By Elizabeth V |

Normal pizzas I had the hawaiana but it was made from two hours before so i didn’t like it that much.

Awesome for Breakfast or Dinner & Great Staff

By Matthew H |

Staying nearby and have been going to Primo’s for both lunch and dinner. Awesome place and even better staff - make you feel like family - with great food quality and portions. There were many options but strongly recommend Primo’s for the food quality and phenomenal staff!

WOW! Amazing Place

By Amanda B |

Beautiful restaurant and the staff provided amazing customer service. They were very friendly and attentive. The food was so delicious. I recommend the meatballs and the calamari, they did not disappoint! I got the Fettuccine al Pastor as my main and I enjoyed every bite. If you're around I definitely recommend stopping in and getting a bite and some dessert as well :)

Food was amazing

By GiGirae12 |

We went for dinner. The place is small and was full but we got right in. I had a gluten-free pasta dish and my husband had the Mahi-mahi. Both dishes were excellent and we ate everything on our plates. The only downside was that they were taking professional pictures of plates of food at one table and employees seemed preoccupied with all that going on. It seems they could have done it at a different time of day, not dinner hour. I would definitely go back!

Very good service and great food

By Dianne S |

Although they were very busy, service was very attentive. The antipasto platter was wonderful with the meats, cheese, olives and nuts. The Primo pizza qualifies as one of the best pizzas I have ever had.

need to hurry to eat #hangover)

By Courtney G |

This place was in our hotel The Double Tree and My cousins wanted breakfast but we got there late. We did have the place to ourselves for a while. 3 ordered pizza and one have a burger and fries. I had lasagna, i send it back bc I had the traditional made lasagna in my head and on my taste buds. (BTW its an Italian place). I never had Italian Lasagna. I asked for pizza to replace it. I can out pretty fast and it was cooked. The pizza's where good. even when I put it in the oven later that night. The waiter was very nice and polite. My cousin said her burger was good. she ate it later that evening.the pizza was bout 15 dollars. The prices were reasonable.

Warm ambience & fresh food

By Tamie H |

This restaurant moved four years ago to a bigger location from the side street Pine to the corner on 6th Ave. We had dinner with friends and the service was impeccable our waitress was helpful and knowledgeable about their drinks & food. We order the Margarita cocktail after she assures us that it was freshly made, absolutely delicious like no other I've ever drank. For starters we had Brussels sprouts (Not what your Mom served), the bread with Balsamic unbelievable it left us wanting more. For entrees the fish of the day was Salmon w/vegetables cooked perfectly, the Applewood Pork chop with apple chutney was tender & juice not easy to accomplish most pork chops are dry, the two pasta dishes fresh and flavorful and they didn't come from a box pasta either. Desert looked beautiful but we had no room to order any. We'll be back soon!

Very good and convenient to hotel.

By NCSTREETDOC |

While staying at the Double Tree hotel, we decided to eat here especially since we got a $30.00 food credit for being a Hilton Diamond member. The food and the service was very good. My only complaint was that I wanted a side salad with my spaghetti. It was a very good salad but not $16.00 extra dollars good. Oh well!

Great food!

By TravelingAdventurist |

Great food and service just took awhile to get food. Very fresh and delicious though. We had a large group and they were able to accommodate us all which was great.

Best Italian I've had in years

By David M |

While in Miami one evening before leaving on a cruise , friends and i walked into primos really just because it was close to our hotel and open. (Many places were still closed due to hurricane Irma). I wasn't expecting to have the best meal I've had in a long time. The service was excellent and the prices were reasonable. Everyone raved about their salads. Steaks were perfectly done. My capellini was awesome. And if I had to pick Just one thing to recommend , it would be the meatball appetizer. It was amazing. So hats off to primos and their staff. What started off as just grabbing something to eat ended up being a great meal and night. !

Average breakfast with long wait

By Hannah |

We had breakfast here and even if restaurant was empty we were waiting long time to place order, for the order, for the bill.... I didn't like frittata as it was stuffed with spaghetti (last night's leftover perhaps) and it didn't have too many other ingredients. Coffee was very expensive. Extra charge for bread. Waiter was slow but nice. Didn't come back for another breakfast during my stay in Doubletree.

Nite before cruise dinner

By Michael B |

Stopped here after a short Uber from our hotel. We didn’t have a reservation but got seated (albeit in the hallway). Staff was fabulous and couldn’t do enough for us including the manager who enjoyed we were from Boston. Food was absolutely fabulous, it was served hot and fresh. I had the chicken parm and the chicken was juicy and delicious. We will get back again!!

Pre cruise night dinner

By Vera C |

We stopped in Primo’s the night before our cruise. Being a Friday night it was busy but the service was fantastic. The server was extremely busy the manager (owner) was busy helping bring food out, getting drinks and talking with the patrons. I felt I was back in a true Italian New York eatery. We were greeted promptly and ordered with the manager. We both had fettuccine mine with broccoli his with shrimp both were outstanding! Portions were big with bread and I had a salad. We will definitely eat here again the next time we are in town!!

Surprisingly good food

By Roland E |

It is not typical to find great restaurants inside a major hotel but Primo’s is an exception. We tried a number of different menu items and the only negative thing to remark on was that the Risotto was not cooked until it was as creamy as we’re used to from Italy. Service was great and very attentive. Just make sure to tell the waiter that you only want one beer if that is your limit. Otherwise they bring refills all the time and surprise, they are not free.

Amazing, prompt and super friendly service

By galeweithers |

My friends and I were seated quickly, our order taken promptly and our high-quality, tasty, well presented dishes arrived in no time. Staff were super friendly and all in all, a wonderful night's experience; would highly recommend this restaurant!

excellent food

By Cruiseaddict |

We stayed at hotel and had lunch there. Best fettucini I have ever had. Husband had a burger which he said was fine. Service was good also. We be back for sure.

Breakfast

By ORF2ATL |

Staying at the Doubletree. Restaurant is in the lobby. Very convenient. Solid options for breakfast. Espresso was strong but good. Fresh fruit came with each dish. Good gluten free dish options.

Decent Italian

By ian11112015 |

Ate dinner here whilst staying in the Marriott . Good food and service although a little pricey. Two main courses , two coffees and a bottle of wine came to around $120 although we did have 2 of the more expensive mains. Couldn’t find fault.

More attention to the customer needs…

By Maria P |

As we have issues with severe allergies, we have informed the personnel accordingly and in detail. However although we have asked spaghetti with just olive oil and shrimps, no garlic, the dish came with garlic. After our complaints, they took it back but instead of cooking the spaghetti from scratch they just “washed it” and returned it, so still the garlic was strong. And they have also added red peppers in big slices that we never asked. After new complaint the dish came correct, after almost an hour delay. Generally warm restaurant, although quite noisy, dishes just ok. Need more attention to customers’ needs.

Great service and food!

By Fabiano R |

Thank you for your hospitality! When you come to the restaurant, ask for Karen! The food came out fast and delicious. Don't leave without dessert!

Excellent food experience!

By Walt B |

The service, quality and taste of foods.....wonderful! Great pasta and terrific veal were our food choices at Primo's. The service was excellent, the care and attention paid to make our experience memorable were all to rave about! Thank you Primo's!

Tiny Noisy Dim Lit Lounge

By Steve D |

Ate here while staying at the DoubleTree last month. The food was OK but that the best I can say about it. The place is over crowded with less than two feet between tables, no privacy at all. Wait staff seem rushed and only interested in getting you out quickly if you're not pounding back the drinks. I ordered a pizza and at about 2/3 of it. When I was done, a waiter (no ours) picked up my plate an took it. I was expecting that this was to box the remainder to go........no chance. The pizza never returned and when I inquired I was told that it had been thrown out. This is just simply poor practice.

Convenient Dinner

By jberk99 |

Great sppt when staying at the Marriott Bayside or the attached DoubleTree. Hidden away in an attached shopping mall, but worth it. Nice Northern Italian, good service and friendly.

Great experience at Primos

By Ramiro G |

Excellent afternoon drinking and watching the NFL The guys at the bar and tables were fantastic Leo, Juanjo, Karia, Marta are amazing I recomend this place to everybody 😁

Convenient but not great

By JB5445 |

This restaurant was conveniently located in the Double Tree Grand hotel on Biscayne Blvd. The pizza was pretty good and the French fries were excellent but the Sunday Gravy was not very good, the sausage was good as was the pasta but the short ribs were terrible and the meatball was just ok. We had difficulties with the drink orders but our server was very good.

A nice Hotel-restaurant

By ELO |

Primos Restaurant is in first floor in Double Tre By Hilton Hotel. The menu is wide and exciting. We had pizza and pasta and We were satisfied with the food. We experienced very good service. The prices har medium-high.

Excellent food & Service

By Felixavier Cruz |

I asked for a Carbonara that was not in the Menu and still they did it for me. Awesome service and an even better front-host (Beatrice) that its always looking around! Great place to spend a good dinner at.

Amazing Breakfast

By Scuba-Obsession |

I was very surprised to find a restaurant connected to a Marriott and DoubleTree to have excellent prices. Really shocked. The restaurant is very nice inside, and the service was outstanding! When I saw the prices, I thought it couldn't be true... so, we sat down and had a wonderful breakfast. This is a definite hidden gem in Miami.

Excellent Breakfast!

By Andre Pinkard |

My family and I ate here for breakfast. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. Our server Thannia was very friendly and provided a great experience for us.

Surprise just outside the Marriott

By Lee R |

Our experience was so very nice. We ordered the Handmade pasta special, Bolognese and a Cesar Salad. The portions are large so we split both. Delicious! And, no split dish charge. The dressing on the Cesar was terrific. We ordered toe Rum cake for dessert - decadent and delicious Our service was exceptional! The noise level was a bit elevated. Highly recommend trying this one.

Amazing

By tiffers2184 |

Good and device were amazing. Food came our fast and was homemade. Variety of food. Pastas and salads were great. Great happy hour 2 for 1 deals daily.

Not very good

By arcman033 |

We had lunch here after arriving at our hotel. We ordered the meatballs as an appetizer and they were amazing. Then we ordered burgers, the burgers look great, but they are terrible, frozen, dried out beef patties. You would think with being a nice restaurant that they would make everything fresh, not frozen.

Excellent

By Armando M |

The food was great and service too. Thannia was a great server. Really italian food, I’ll love visiting again. Kriscelis was a nice server too.

What a Difference a Day Makes...

By SJVacations |

My husband and I came to this quaint little italian restaurant for breakfast on the morning of 7/13. We were greeted by a wonderful waiter, "Christian" - who welcomed us with "Good Morning Family, welcome". Both the food and the service were impeccable. The following morning on 7/14, we decided to return, and it felt like an entirely different restaurant. Christian was still there - and our waiter again, and we were about the third table to be seated, and immediately placed our order. After watching 6 other tables seated, and three of these tables served - we decided to get up, offer to pay for our orange juice and coffee - and leave. At this point - the manger arrives at our table with apologies - and asking us to repeat our order. Christian was trying his best at this point - not to make eye contact with us. It was very clear that the kitchen staff was prioritizing the orders, as they saw fit. I had every intention of giving this place a glowing review - on yesterday. Today - they demonstrated to me who they truly are. Sad.

TERRIBLE SERVICE / WEAK DRINKS / POR FOOD

By Warren B |

Terrible slow service. Drinks abvisously measured alcohol. "Italian" restaurant only has 4 pasta dishes in menu. Can't understand how this place servives

Primo!

By richard1s |

My wife and I were staying at the adjacent Doubletree hotel so Primo’s was a logical choice for us. We were very pleasantly surprised with this restaurant. The service was great; friendly and efficient. Wine by the bottle was reasonably priced and the food selections were amazing. The bread was extremely good – toasted, warm and delicious. My wife ordered a meat dish and she loved it. I ordered eggplant, a dish that most restaurants usually mess up, but the waitress assured me that it was very good and – she was right. It was delicious. Rarely do I eat a complete entre but this was just too good to leave. We were really pleased with Primo’s and it was a great way to start our one week cruise vacation.

Primos is Primo

By Riley C |

Stumbled upon Primos while arriving a day early before a cruise. The ambiance is stunning - a small hole in the wall within the Double Tree Marriott. Lots of Jazz House to pair with a fantastic meal. The Pesto Gnocchi had to be one of the top Italian courses within the United States that Ive had. Wine list is pretty expanded, would definitely recommend for a dinner and cocktail night! Great date spot. Cant go wrong with anything on the menu. Josue was our server, and was fantastic and tentative. The manager was also great.

Great service, tasty food!

By Li Siobhan |

Waitstaff were very attentive and took our orders immediately. The time for our food to arrive was short. The food was very tasty and we had extra for breakfast the next morning, large portions!

Going Italian

By nusmik |

This restaurant is located at Doubletree Grand Hotel Biscayne. My wife and I shared a Cesar Salad and Primos Pizza for dinner which were delicious. I went back the next day for lunch and had a fettuccine with with Prosciutto and mushroom which was very delicious too. Highly recommended.

Don't go hear

By infernocouture |

We went for a table of four. Pretty simple the place was empty so not sure why they couldn't take a simple order. 3 times we had to send the plate back for incorrect food. No apologies no nothing. The waiter became more and more frustrated. I wouldn't pay a penny for the service or food in this place. Gross with horrible service. Plenty of little restaurants here do not go to this one.

great experience for my family

By Juan S |

this places it's great it's my first time going there and won't be the last, the menu it's great, the food its great but the service it's excellent my server Christian ( blue hair ) look for him it's great, it was my parents first travel to Miami and he makes the eating experience unique, help me my dad with the menu. I recommend this place 100% so when u are in Miami this is the place to go.

Very Average and Noisy!!

By Charlyholly |

Dined here on a Tuesday evening pre-cruise. Were seated about 6pm and the place was not very busy. Received our drinks and placed our order fairly quickly. The place filled up very quickly thereafter and between the noise of the crowd and the music you could hardly hear yourself think. Bench seat became very uncomfortable after a while and we waited over 45 minutes for our order. It seemed other tables got their orders prior to us which was annoying. I recall we had at least four different waiters and nobody seemed to be paying attention to us. I finally corralled one and asked about our order - we then received it about two minutes later. Food was very, very average. My wife had lasagna and I had spaghetti which shouldn't have taken the time we had to wait. The noise and cramped quarters between tables plus the bland food and indifferent service prevents me from recommending this place.

Great Late Night

By Brandon J |

Really good food. I enjoyed the seafood pasta. Open till 1, so good choice for late night quality food. Nice vibe and enjoy the atmosphere. Good Italian food in Miami for once.

Italy in Miami...outstanding!!!

By bustedbuttons |

I’ve been to Italy three times and this Honduran chef has them all beat. Chicken piccata and veal Marsala were simply outstanding!!! I can’t say enough how great this meal was...terrific!

cozy, good Italian food

By Scott F |

Got in late for a business trip, so did not want to go far. I sat at the bar, which was not to noisy. Great choice of Italian food, with various portion sizes. Staff was friendly and helpful. Will go back there when I go back to the Double Tree next week

A Quick Bite

By paraicf |

Had a mixed seafood and spaghetti main and was lovely, meatballs and lasagne excellent, calamari was lovely as a starter but big enough as a main, all in all really good Italian food all be it just a little pricey.

Nice place

By Emily C |

Excellent service by Romer, great food and specials every day! Definitely going back! I really recommended

Great Place for Breakfast

By Jowanna P |

I enjoyed breakfast here with family. The food was great, except for the "rustic bread" that was included with the meal. It was too hard to chew. I asked for another type of bread but the server bought out another piece of the same type of bread which really was no better. Other than that my breakfast was perfect which included several types of meat, eggs cooked to order, a side of potatoes and fruit. It was very filling and satisfying, in a very scenic setting. Conveniently located inside the Doubletree Biscayne Bay Miami Florida hotel.

An Enjoyable Meal

By Holly K |

We wanted to dine close to our hotel as we were tired from the day’s travel. We stumbled upon Primo’s on our way out for a bayside walk. We looked at the menu. On seeing meatballs and insalate caprese, Handsome Companion was all set. We made a reservation for six o’clock. We were warmly greeted upon our return with a table in the corner reserved for us as promised. H.C. ordered his beloved meatballs, three tender and delicious meatballs in a San Mariano tomato sauce served with a dollop of whipped ricotta. It was very good. I started with the Caesar Salad, a large bowl of crisp romaine with a flavorful dressing and strips of shaved Parmesan Reggiano. It was also very good, but I left half, in anticipation of my Eggplant Parmesan. For his entree, H.C. had the Risotto Primavera, a combination of five or six vegetables in a soupy risotto with a fresh burrata on top. It was a lovely combination of flavors and H.C. enjoyed it. My Eggplant Parmesan was excellent, not too cheesy and not over-sauced, allowing the eggplant flavor to dominate. It came with a side of penne, gluten-free for me, and quite toothsome. And “side” would be an understatement. It was a full plate of pasta. The restaurant is busy and the waitstaff is very attentive. We enjoyed our meal here very much.

A lovely first evening in Miami experience . Good food ,

By Cgw3 |

Great restaurant in the hotel foyer of Hilton Grand . We chose Carpaccio as a starter to share .it was well presented and tasty .The fresh grouper was excellent The whole experience was very good . As for the staff they were so accommodating , friendly & service was fast . They also allowed us to finish our drinks on their outside tables .all together a lovely experience especially as we were tired from a long flight from the UK Drinks compared with UK are expensive but that is not their fault same everywhere .

Mrs aysin president

The service is very nice and effective especially we would like to thank to mrs YANITZA for her superb service and smily facd

Great service

By Joe L |

Stayed at the Doubletree and gave this place a try because it was in the hotel. The service was excellent (thanks Juan!). The owner came around to our table and checked on us and he was very pleasant. The atmosphere was very much like a neighborhood restaurant. The fried calamari appetizer was really good. Primo's Sunday Gravy dish was a huge disappointment. I should have heeded the advice given by another Trip Advisor reviewer. The ribs and sliced sausages were way over cooked and the meatballs were tasteless, however the biggest surprise was...there was no gravy (sauce)! My wife's eggplant was meh, ok. They probably do other dishes very well, but not the ones' we ordered.

Hit or Miss food

By ataraxis |

I ate and drank here twice while staying at the Doubletree. The meatballs were great, but everything else I had was just average. The wines by the glass were overpriced. The service however was really good both times.

Very bland breakfast but great service

By C.J. Q |

Unfortunately we did not care for any of the breakfast dishes we received. We ate here as it was a breakfast option from our hotel. My husband ordered pancakes and I ordered the frittata. The restaurant was very clean and the food presentation was nice...however, all the food was very bland. The waiter was very attentive, polite, and efficient—for these reasons we would try then again for lunch or dinner at a future visit if nearby.

Good food and atmosphere

By Michael M |

Great selection on the menu for anyone. Staff was fantastic, small and a little cramped but nice. Good for breakfast if you have the hotel voucher.

Big Breakfast at Primos

By AdioB |

This restaurant serves an amazing flat bread breakfast with a side dish of your choice. It was almost the size of a 12 inch pizza on a hard board. It was quite a mouthful.

Wedding weekend

By Adriana W |

We have our daughter’s wedding on Saturday and invited about 40 of our family members to breakfast the following day. It was fabulous. Such great service and food. The staff were efficient and nice. The manager Martin was a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Great Place to Eat

By davidlM1339LG |

We ate breakfast Thanksgiving morning before checking out of our hotel. Staff was very friendly and the food was delicious! Would definitely come back again!!!

Tasty Italian Food and Great Atmosphere!

By Vicki |

Had breakfast twice and was pleasantly suprised. The staff were very friendly, nice and the food tasty. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and very cosy and they even have a bar where you can sit and have a drink. Portions are reasonable and you can take your time without being rushed out. Highly Recommended!

Good stuff

By heyyahhey |

This is good spot and very convenient for the guests in the building. We had dinner and breakfast here, both were great. The service was strange, but not bad. We started with one server and ended with another with no explanation. Aside from that, it was great. I would recommend the meatballs, they were amazing.

Amazing!

By Thabatha B |

Our first time here but definitely not our last! Service, Food and atmosphere were all amazing! The meatballs best we’ve had in a long time!! Calamari and garlic bread for appetizers were delish!! And my Risotto my goodness… amazing!!! Tasty old fashion is worth every penny!

Good but not a gourmet experience

By Graphiker |

As long as you don't expect creative re-interpretations of standard red sauce Italian food, you will have a reasonably good meal here. I expected more of a foodie-friendly place. However, I do enjoy what I term shopping plaza Italian food, the kind I grew up with, before the food revolution which began with Julia Child back in the 70's. Service was good.

Wonderful meal

By 9Roytan |

We had lunch here and it was the best grilled vegetable wrap I have ever eaten. They make a mayo with herbs that made the wrap. Zucchini, onions, mushrooms, tomatoes and squash were beautifully grilled. I wish we had found this restaurant the first day in Miami. Great service, the best server and beautiful decor. Would go back if we pass through Miami again.

Our experience could not have been better! Hats off to the chefs and manager.

By Paula V |

Primos hosted a rehearsal dinner the night before our son was to be married. We ordered a number of appetizers along with the most delicious chicken Cesar salad. The food was outstanding! It’s not your average Italian restaurant! Chef was engaging with our guests and made the event special. He and the Manager, Ilaria treated my husband and I like royalty. We will definitely return to Primo anytime we are in Miami. This is a do not miss restaurant!

Great place to eat

By Gordon M |

Stayed at the Doubletree for three nights attending a concert and ate here on the first night and went back for the next two nights. Really friendly and welcoming staff, super fast and efficient service and amazing food. The waiters were helpful with questions and requests. Pizza is on my top 10 pizzas ever and thru fresh homemade pasta was great as well.

Good food, good atmosphere

By The_Chilihouse |

We went as a group, walking from a nearby hotel, and we were glad that we had booked as our reserved table was the only one free. There was live music playing, but this was not intrusive and allowed us to still enjoy our conversations around the table, making for an excellent atmosphere. The service was good and efficient. The food was very tasty, although the wine selection was quite limited and the two reds I tried were OK at best. I can't comment about the value for money as somebody else picked up the bill.

Cheers

By CDSMIA |

Promos is as close to the TV show "Cheers" as you can get in Miami. It is a fun mix of regulars who live in the condo residences and visitors, tourists and business travelers staying in the adjacent hotels. The staff are exceptional and if you return a couple of times they will know your face and probably your name. Food is very good with generous portions. Highly recommended.

Steak of Dreams.

By V. Donoghue |

Primos is a beautiful all around luxury restaurant with fantastic service and spectacular food. Alex in particular made our evening that extra bit special. Alex was friendly, polite and always thinking ahead. Myself and partner had the pear and goat cheese salad and calamari as starters, and the mignon steak to share. Both starters were delicious and the steak was one of the best I’ve ever had. Close second with a steak in my hometown. My only criticism would be that the music is a little loud for my personal taste, but expected for the experience that is Miami. Highly recommend.

Eat somewhere else

By bryce_pth |

Food was average at best couldn’t finish my pasta, came out in 5 mins so not sure how they cooked everything in that time, don’t like leaving a bad review but I would eat elsewhere

Consistory good

By Izzymoj |

This restaurant is located in the lobby of double tree & is very small so I highly recommend reservations. We ate here about 4 yrs ago & again last week & both times food & service was very good.

Breakfast choices

By Shellita1 |

Italian Benedict. 2 perfectly cooked poached eggs on rustic bread, prosciutto cotto and lemony Hollandaise sauce, with a side dish of fresh cut up melon assortment....very very good!...served by our fabulous waiter, Chris...wearing his new modern version of John Lennon eyeglasses.

Great food but we found it a bit expensive

By Pops |

The food was delicious and I wish that I had the appetite for me to finish my food but unfortunately I got full but it was delicious. I had the calamari and the portion was gigantic but WoW they were so fresh and yummy, my husband had the meatballs starter which was four large meatballs in a delicious gravy which he said was delicious and he left an empty plate. He then had the filet maison which he reported was delicious and again a clean plate was left. I decided that I would have a starter size of clams in a delicious sauce with linguine, this also was delicious but just to much for me to eat and do it justice however I have to say that the food was delicious and the staff were super fast and helpful but being a bit of a tight English person I thought that $38 for a steak was on the high side and I would not pay that much for it in England but although I have moaned about the price, I would recommend it for the food, staff and the ambiance of the place.

Under Rated!

By Jacob G |

Many people breeze past this restaurant without thinking twice. That’s a BIG mistake. My wife and I visit frequently and everything is too notch. Thannia takes great care of us. The food is better than many of the top Italian restaurants in town. The restaurant is always clean, clean, clean! Service is great. Give it a shot. You will become a regular after your first visit!

Your best option for breakfast while staying at the Grand Doubletree

We ate at all three complimentary breakfast locations (Hilton Honors members) while staying at the Grand Doubletree in Miami, and this was the best. The price is good and the food was a clear cut choice.

Great Food, staff not so much

By Darin |

I stayed at the Doubletree which is where the restaurant is located. The rigatoni with bolonese sauce was outstanding but I would like to caution People because I ate here all 3 nights during our convention and the staff tried to overcharge me 2 times. I had to remind my waiter that happy hour prices on the wine / beer apply from 5-7. One of my waiters was a manager so I would like to caution people who visit this place. The food is great though.

Not bad for a quick snack

By rupert m |

Went in for early evening dinner. We had four dishes The service was good and attentive Restaurant a little bit shop unit, but still adequate The food was good except the meatballs which were horrible, we couldnt eat them. The texture was poor and they were like small cannonballs The pizza was good as was the ravioli.

small establishment in big hotel but really good tasting food !

By Marcel B |

the place is not big therefore can feel a bit busy but the quality of the food is well worth it ! we ate in once and the service was great. we ordered a big take-out lunch once for 9 people and it was excellent as well. 2 dishes were forgotten but were made up for fast and with sincere apologies. strongly recommended

A light Dinner

By George W |

We weren't that hungry but decided to try Primos for the Pizza with 2 for 1 "Happy Hour" wine. The Marguerita was excellent. Nice chewy crust and great cheese....and of course the wine was good. Friendly efficient service.

We ate here twice in 2 days

By Cathy |

The food was amazing. My family all loved their meals. It had delicious flavor. Often, spaghetti sauce is bland but their sauce was amazing. Their rustic Italian bread was fresh. We went back for breakfast and again, were not disappointed. The waitstaff is super friendly and attentive. Would recommend this restaurant.

INCREDIBLE FOOD & SERVICE!

By SS739 |

The food and service at Primo’s will be remembered by family for a lifetime to come! The meal was a dream come true. Tuna tartare, marinara meatballs, cacio e pepe meatballs (!) ribeye, primo burger, pear salad, chicken sandwich, chicken parm, lava cake, cannolis, and finally cappuccinos- everything was incredible! Our server Enzo also made the dining experience even more special by being funny, clever, and helpful the whole time as we ate our way across the entire menu 🥰 Thank you Primo’s!

Thanksgiving dinner

By James S |

We were staying at the Doubletree post cruise and wanted to find dinner on Thanksgiving day. Despite being an I talian restaurant, they had a Thanksgiving dinner with all the traditional Thanksgiving trimmings from cranberry saauce to pumpkin pie.

A great visit

By Jake Y |

Wonderful time, great food and service. Staff were super friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend. Spaghetti and meet balls were delicious and a great size

Experience to repeat

By Umberto A |

Wonderful evening in the company of friends. Nice place, great food. The cook is Neapolitan (and already this is a guarantee), the staff friendly and friendly. We ate divinely what we were looking for. From pizza to chicken. Assorted and quality side dishes. Experience to repeat. One of the best places in Miami

Primo for sure

By ed7531 |

While staying at the Hilton Doubletree Inn right next-door we enjoyed breakfast and lunch at Primos. Had Italian eggs Benedict for breakfast excellent had skirt steak flat bread and salad for lunch excellent. Service was good. Very cozy not loud. Clean and tidy. White tablecloth and cloth napkins but a very reasonable price. Serving sizes were plentiful, bring your appetite. A good sampling of selections on the menu.

Dinner in Miami

By gfnz |

Very friendly staff , everyone said hallo. Promptly seated and offered the menu. A cool drink was served. I ordered Spaghetti & Meatballs. Nicely presented, hot and a good sized portion. It tasted good too. Music and ambience was very pleasant. I enjoyed my visit to Primos.

Excellent choice

By Depi D |

Excellent Italian food, pizza, foccacia, spaghetti, desserts. Quick and polite service, affordable prices. Maybe ,the best food I had in Miami

Italian Lunch

By Steven K |

When we arrived at the Doubletree Hotel, we decided to eat lunch at Primo's. I had a pasta dish and my wife had a salad. The food was very good and the service was friendly and efficient.

Overcharged !

By Arnold |

We arrived 19:02 and upon seated, there was a board on the table saying Happy Hour from 1800-1900. We asked if we could have one and last red wine on the happy hour deal which was buy one get one free for 10$ (not really a good deal is it?) Most 5 star hotels sells a glass of wine for $4-6. The waiter said yes and brought our 2 glasses of Pinot Noir wine. It was the worst tasting wine I ever had in my life, probably coming from a box opened 3 months ago. We had the food, a steak and some kind of sea food soup, which to be fair it was excelente and well cooked ! Upon requesting to bill, 2 glasses of wine of 10 each, the 2 plates a the service inclusive of 20% (no option given in how much to tip). I questioned the Happy Hour deal and the same guy said after 19:00 there is no happy hour deal and the computer wouldn't allow (yeah right). I questioned him if he didn't say that he could offer the wine on the happy hour deal and he could not come up with an explanation. So there it is. 10$ a glass for the most horrible overdue wine I ever tasted. No need to mention a good bottle of wine is around 6-8US in any supermarket. I also questioned if service is not optional and why the bill didn't provide options of 10% , 20% or 30% like most places do. 20% on the top of an already expensive bill is too much. Most countries apply a 10% but of course, not in US. So there it is, 2 glasses of a very expensive house wine, a surtax of 20% mandatory service, 2 meals and US tax for US 117.14 the most unsatisfied bill I ever had to pay.

Lunch

By Büşra D |

Gigi is very friendly and professional. Thank you very much for the service. we will come to visit again

Perfect experience

By Kaitlyn C |

Pesto gnocchi is without a doubt the best I have ever had. Everything is made in house and it is noticeable from the first bite. Atmosphere is amazing, staff are on it, all around perfect experience.

GREAT food, GREAT service

By CruisinRoyalJen |

Our dinner experience (Ravioli - oh my....wonderful!) was great. Good service, great location for guests of the DoubleTree! Breakfast was even better! Our waiter, Enzo, was outstanding! And we enjoyed the food as well. Reasonable prices and again, the location just couldn't be beat! Coffee was delicious!!

Dinner at Primos

By Tamara M |

Wonderful dinner, service was excellent and the food was made exactly as we wanted. We were able to purchase a bottle of wine since their house white was great. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying at the Doubletree Grand

Good place for a relaxing drink and good conversation

By Linda F |

We stopped here for an appetizer and drinks. A great full service bar. It is literally steps from the Double Tree Hotel and Grand Hilton. It is part of a small shopping center with ladies shops, an apothecary, and several types of eateries. The service could have been better, the waitress was a bit preoccupied with other customers. It looks like the dish of choice should be the pizza. The person next to us had one that was loaded with cheese and he makes a special trip to this bar just for the pizza. We simply had drinks and some onversation with very friendly fellow customers.

Mojito time

By Coastal47934395430 |

I’ll come back just to see Marta and Karia… Leo alright alright he is also a cool guy! Ask for the albahaca mojito 😉

Food fantastic, service mediocre

By 5simba |

If you’re looking for scrumptious Italian food, you will enjoy the selection and quality. The staff were very friendly greeting etc, but once we got to our table, the service didn’t match to the quality of the food. Highly recommend for food, maybe you’ll get more attentive service.

Hungry for a Great Meatball, Excellent Cocktails, and Great Service?

By Glen L |

The older I become, the more interested I am in simple perfection, and Primo's provides what I need. To me, the true test of an Italian restaurant is the meatball. As a child, I was spoiled in our lower class neighborhood by the Sunday dinners prepared by an Italian immigrant neighbor, an older and refined gentleman who was a barber in the old country. The time and effort (and love) that went into every meatball each weekend was evident by the way it fell apart in your mouth. Primo's meatball took me back to the taste of my childhood. Many thanks to Eric for his excellent service, and to Christian for flawlessly supporting Eric when he was with other diners. Absolute and seamless teamwork. And the cocktails, you ask? In my experience, most restaurant bartenders are technically proficient, but the top 10% in this oft-neglected source of dining profits combine technical mastery and joy of creation. Martin is definitely in the 10%. The Rat Pack would have approved of my Rusty Nail, and the Lemon Drop must have been time-warped to our table from 1970s San Francisco. Don't miss out on this restaurant gem in the DoubleTree Grand Hotel in beautiful downtown Miami.

Great food and engaging, efficient and pleasant service

By Paulnor2013 |

Calamari salad at lunch was exquisite. Our server also plied us with various tasters of wine until we could decide. Alex - our server was exceptional - friendly and knowledgable; Alex’s conversation and chat also enhanced our lunchtime sojourn!

Affordable Italian/American

By nanna68 |

I have frequented the restaurant three times during my three night stay at the Double Tree Hotel. This just tells you how content I was with the food, price, as well as service. I tried the burger, the calamari, the pizza, and the beef spaghetti. It was all good except for the lack of salt in most dishes. I would definitely recommend it!

Dinner at Primo’s in Miami

By Brian W |

Food, ambiance and service were amazing. 8 of us went there as we’re staying at an adjacent hotel prior to leaving on a cruise, including two kids who are both very picky eaters. The pizza was to die for, pasta was equally awesome and ceasar salad just perfect. There were no kids menu but they told us “tell us what they like and we’ll make it for them”. We couldn’t have been more pleased with our experience at Primo’s and with our waiter who was just so nice with us. We’ll be back next time we’re in Miami that’s for sure!!!

Great location for the Arsht Center, but not the food

By DanS1950 |

Four of us ate here for convenience to the concert and opera houses. It’s a cozy place, and full of life. Our server was wonderful and attentive. But we all said the food was mediocre at best, whether Italian or just a burger. Our friend with the eggplant Parmesan said he gets a frozen entree at Publix supermarket that tastes better. On the plus side: Two for one glasses of wine at happy hour!

It hits the spot

By evergreen36 |

We stayed at DoubleTree and we have eaten here before. We needed a quick dinner having arrived late and the food, service and overall feel are good. We both had fish dishes and the food comes quickly. It has atmosphere and is a little noisy but busy places are

Close to Double Tree Hotel

By Budmanri |

Very pleased with restaurant, service was top notch . Started with a Caesar salad, which is big enough for three people also had the chicken Parmesan with pasta. All the sauces are handmade.Made a great Margarita. Pear salad also a hit

Very good experience

By AnnMayTravelling |

I’ve dined at Primo’s and enjoyed the experience very much. The service was friendly and attentive, the food was very good and the restaurant was clean. The reason for the 4 points vs 5 points was the noise level, the music was very loud which made the conversation quite difficult. But all in all I’d come back for the food anytime.

Good Place for a light meal and Sports on TV

By BerlinG-ParisF |

We were staying at the nearby Hilton the night before our cruise departure and found this in the idine program so I called and was told reservations weren't necessary so we walked on over and were promptly seated. Juan G was our server and was efficient and friendly. I had iced tea, and my other half had Sauvignon Blanc and got 2 decent sized glasses for $10 since it was Happy Hour. I had the Margherita Pizza, and he had Lasagna. Both were very good and did the trick for a quick, not too expensive dinner in expensive Miami. The restaurant is inside the building that contains the Doubletree combined with some fancy, high rise condos. The Episcopal Cathedral is next door. College football was on the televisions so that was a plus for me! It wasn't too loud. There was a also an area with tables outside the main bar area as I learned when I returned from the bathroom about 100 feet away. They have one that connects to the bar area, but it is a 1-person operation and was occupied! I'm not sure about the Doubletree, but I wouldn't stay at the Hilton again so next time, maybe we'll try the Doubletree and return here if it's still in the idine program.

Could Do Better

By Kate W |

The food here is really quite reasonable. The biggest downside is that couples or parties are trying to eat and drink and talk to each other and there are two large television screens above each end of the bar showing a program, BUT the sound is of an awful music track blaring out and taking over the whole ambience of this restaurant. WHY. Such a pity, good food and good service does not deserve this type of low class "bar" treatment. If it is not an owner running it , then sack the manager. If it is owner run then someone please take him/her to one side and put them straight. No one wanted to linger over another drink, coffee or dessert, including us. usic

Mixed Bag...of deliciousness

By Laurence P |

I took my girlfriend her for a pre-Valentines Day surprise complete with tickets to see Andrea Bocelli at AA. I had a reservation but the greeter told us to sit anywhere when we arrived. I was expecting a little more personalized service. We shared a salad which was delicious although we had to improvise serving utensils. We thoroughly enjoyed our entrees which consisted of Gnocchi and Lobster Ravioli. Dessert was disappointing when our "Chocolate Lava Cake" arrived Luke-warm and no "Lava" to be found inside. The Cappuccino was very good. Overall, very good which included above average service.

Nice Vibe

By ezze |

The bilingual staff was on point with the service. The menu had a variety of options and daily specials.

Good food and Pizza

By Sono chi Sono. |

The restaurant is located inside the lobby of the double tree hotel and I think this is very good for the business , the place is clean and the waitresses are enough polite, very low light like all the US restaurants. The only bad think, the prices are to high

Pretty much perfection!

By vinmarine1 |

So I rented a condo at "The Grand" which is a marvelous condo complex. Within that beautiful building sits a very small restaurant called Primo's Restaurant & Lounge. Forgive me in advance for not remembering the names of all the servers and the beautiful white female bartender. I went literally for breakfast, lunch and dinner on three separate days. The first time I went for lunch and had a delicious burger with a few mixed drinks. A couple of days later I order some wings and fries and they were damn perfection. The last day I was in Miami I had a simple breakfast plate which consisted of some mixed fresh fruit, bacon, sausage (two different types), eggs with cheese and some delicious home fries/potatoes. Listen, when you patronize a restaurant at different times and you receive exceptional service each of those times...you know the business is top flight and the management is even better. My hats off to a great overall staff.....the restaurant really deserves to be in a standalone building by themselves in order to enrich the customer experience. I also want to thank the Chef's who work in a pretty small kitchen....but they whip up food quickly and it's ALWAYS delicious!!!!

Small spot but great food and service

By Thomas |

I enjoyed a Caprese Flatbread and it came out perfectly. Overpriced menu but I was very satisfied with the quality of the food. Service was impeccable at the bar. With the small space, staff was constantly ready to help out the almost full bar/dining area. I only chose this place because I was staying at the hotel but it’s a good choice in an area with few.

Nice food but lacked oomph

By Celtic Passport |

We were staying in a local hotel and visited Primo's one evening which was one of the restaurants in the lobby complex of the Marriott, Hilton, Grand and Doubletree hotels. The premises was busy, tables for dining and plenty of bar stools for drinkers to watch TV. When ordering drinks, the wine I chose wasn't available and there weren't ingredients for the signature cocktail. If you don't have the ingredients, then don't advertise them, especially your signature cocktail. It was very dark inside with low lighting and we really struggled to see the menu or our food. I noticed one family had to use their phone torches to read the menu and look for things on the table. I worry when premises have the lights so low, are they trying to hide something? The menu had a reasonable selection of Italian style food, pasta etc and the food was nice. The evening lacked oomph. Anyway as I wrote, the food was nice, but a little unmemorable as neither of us can remember what we had apart from the bruschetta sans cheese.

Perfect for area

By sharonsloper |

Good find, especially those for staying at the Marriott or Doubletree- Had early dinner...I just had appetizer of meatballs with a side salad; perfect size- Happy hour wine was 2 for ten dollars and we got to take the second in a plastic glass to our room- Much better than room service

Traditional Italian

By Original_Shrut |

Nothing new here. Veal and Chicken done all ways: parm, piccata, all the usual treatments. Large portions which helps explain the cost. Drinks pricey too.

Nice... small, good food. Convenient for the "neighborhood".

By hmsdos |

No reservations were needed. Environment small and yet comfortable. Bar included in the restaurant/eating area. Menu with a nice selection of choices. Service excellent. Food very good. Price reasonable.

Very Good Breakfast

By MD S |

We had breakfast here and it was very good. Great service and friendly people. It is connected to the Double Tree which is nice.

Great place

By calinn_13 |

We were staying t the hotel this restaurant shares lobby with and it was great. Best pasta and seafood risotto. Our party of 4-7 ate at least 1 meal every day and they were all good. Portion size big. Service was perfect. Night manager was a blast and a great guy. Large selection of alcohol and food for everyone to enjoy.

Excellent price-quality ratio

By Ximena R |

I stayed for a week at the Double Tree. And my best choice for the night after an exceptional day was always to go to Primos Recommended: pizza, roast chicken and pasta

Breakfast and dinner

By M Putzer |

Staying at hotel next door. Food was delicious, delivery of dinner was just 10 minute. Stopped for quick breakfast

Pre cruise dinner

By Nadasguys |

Stayed at the Marriott next door the night before a cruise and had seen a few good reviews online about Primo's. So very happy that we went. Yes, as some have stated, you might be seated in "lobby" area as the restuarant itself is small. The BEST meatballs! Service and all entrees were excellent! Actually stayed at same hotel a week later after getting off the ship. We came back for breakfast, also wonderful. Don't be deterred by the fact that this place is in a hotel lobby

Excellent Dinner

By stevenmA619HX |

We were staying At the Double Tree Grand after our cruise and did not want to travel far for dinner. There were several restaurants in the center attached to the hotel and we decided on Prio's. the service and food were excellent, I had the seafood risotto and it was phenomenal!. we had a party of 5 and my wife did not love her first choice, they inquired about the meal and when she said that she was not crazy about the dish they immediately brought her a shrimp and spinach risotto that she absolutely loved. Fantastic service! We would eat here often if we lived in Miami.

Very pleasantly surprised, hidden gem

By BillFranklin |

The staff were very friendly and attentive, constantly checking on us without being intrusive about it. The drink recommendations really worked well for us. The meatball appetizer although pricey was very good, especially paired with the focaccia. The chicken parmigiana was deliciously seasoned and the snapper piccata was very light and also well seasoned. The sides were all perfectly prepared and the potatoes were light and fluffy. Although we were stuffed to the gills, we had to make a point of getting the key lime pie. It barely made it to the fridge before we demolished the slice that we shared. We are definitely planning on going back, hungry

4.5 stars : )

By Jen P |

Really yummy food. I'm obsessed w Penne alla Vodka and order it whenever I can. It is very good here with an especially creamy sauce. It's a cute little restaurant we stumbled across wandering through the Marriott hotel it is attached to (via a not unpleasant but strange little mall). We often make a point of eating here.

Primo’s Miami

By Cassie SJ |

Our server was Alex. He was professional, efficient, and knowledgeable. After dinner, I told him I didn’t want dessert, but he still brought out a sample of the tiramisu. My mind was BLOWN! I definitely plan to come back and hope that Alex will be my server at every visit.

Outstanding

By david r |

I went for Sunday brunch and chose the steak and egg breakfast. Incredible value considering the coffee was included. My server Thannia provided excellent customer service and my water glass never ran empty. 5 star food and service.

Excellent Italian

By Bob M |

I visited here several years ago and had a positive experience and since I was staying close by, I sought out a return visit. Located in a mix use Condotel, Office, Hotel building, but do not let that sway you. It is a small restaurant, which is frequented by locals and visitors alike. It has a diverse menu of Italian fare. I had a chopped Italian salad which was excellent. Plenty of prosciutto and other favorite fixings in the salad with a nice dressing. My pasta choice was Angel Hair and was cooked to perfection. Great tasting sauce and nice red wine, all made for an excellent meal. Service was excellent from start to finish. I look forward to a return trip in Sept to visit this fine Italian eatery.

The Food very good for the price

By Juan S |

By Christopher D |

We spend an amazing night at Primo’s! The food was amazing and the service couldn't have been better! Kriss our server was super nice and fun. We will definitely be back soon!

Great food selections!!!!!

By jmh1153 |

We went to Primo's for dinner, my husband had the spaghetti and meatballs. He shared some with me, the meatballs were delicious!!!! Primo's was accommodating, I wanted some pizza, but the menu size was too large for one person. I was offered and accepted a flatbread pizza, smaller size. The second time we went there for dinner, we took some friends that we met up with in Miami, 3 out of the 4 had the spaghetti and meatballs, once again the food was delicious!!! Then we tried Primo's for breakfast, I had a breakfast flatbread, delicious and filling. If ever in Miami, we would definitely eat there again!!!!!!

Love this place

By travellermiddle_east |

Absolutely love this restaurant. All the staff are super professional and friendly. This became my local during my stay in Miami and I met many wonderful local residents in here. Huge thank you to Rico, Juan, Eric, Summer, Oscar and all of the other staff whose names I cannot remember for making my time in Prismos so memorable. Food is fantastic love, love, this place

Best pasta seafood Diavolo ever!

By Marti G |

Within walking distance of the Marriot Key Biscane, we went sort of by default. We four were seated in a comfortable cozy lounge. Menus came quickly, drink orders were taken, we sat back to relax. Freshly baked crusty bread appeared, not with the usual olive oil but an aged balsamic vinegar for dipping. Delicious! I ordered bruscetta which came with fresh tomatoes and a type of soft cheese. Also very good. I ordered the seafood Diavolo with a request that the octopus be omitted from my serving, which did happen. I know this sounds corny but honestly I can still taste that first bite. It was the best pasta I have ever had. I don't have flowerly language to describe it except to say that it was perfectly cooked and perfectly flavored. I don't remember what my tablemates ordered but they also said it was the best Italian food they remembered eating.

Quick beer & burger

By whileitravel |

Wasn't aware that this was a good Italian resto. Had a quick burger and beer here. Service was good. Burger was average while the fries were battered, which I couldn't finish. Outdoor seating was the big selling point. $35 for 2 beers and burger/fries. Next time, i'll just have the beers and pass on the burger.

Delicious dinner

By GGGang |

We were staying at the Marriott biscayne, and wanted somewhere close by to have dinner. This place is located right next door in a shopping centre. We were able to get seated quickly without a reservation. Service was great, food outstanding and the place had a lovely atmosphere. There were quite a few folks just sat at the bar enjoying a few drinks with friends. The smart causal atmosphere was very relaxing. Overall we had a great meal and would definitely recommend to others.

Good eats here

This is a good place. Good selections and won't injure your pocketbook. Friendly staff and people. You won't regret eating here.

Breakfast and room service...

By jklogan1970 |

We ate here while staying at the Doubletree. The breakfast is terrific and not costly at all! We only at breakfast at Primos that's how good it was. We did room service one night and I got the chicken parmigiana and it was very good. I didn't find the food i ate expensive at all...for me it was the normal price i'm used to paying. Now may other menu options are expensive but i can only go off what i ordered and i was very pleased. Would definitely recommend it.

Great service!

By Bey T |

Thannia is a great server, excellent food and excellent service! The vodka penne was great and the extra and beyond service from Thannia is one to remember,

My go to place

Primo's restaurant - Double Tree Hotel Biscayne bay

By John G |

We had breakfast here during our post cruise stay in Miami. The choices were good and portions adequate - I had the American breakfast and my Wife had the pancakes. Both were fairly good, nothing exceptional, though I would have preferred a choice of either ham or Canadian bacon instead the crisped up American bacon that shatters into pieces when you try to spear it with your fork - just a personal choice for me !

Great time

By Sebastian Munoz Tamayo |

The food was nice and the server Romer was excellent and made me feel welcome. Definitely coming back for more.

Great Happy Hour ( or 3)

By John A |

A nice little restaurant attached to Hilton Double Tree Hotel. Good varied menu and wine list plus a 3 hour stint of happy hour prices to boot. Nice and busy throughout so has good well earned reputation

Discusting service from (Summer)the bartender

By George B |

The bartender from this place called Summer told me to follow the rules of the bar when I was with my new family celebrating my brother weeding there were lots of checks and wanted to make it easier for myself went to the bar to order order a drink when this bartender not smiling and with a straight face denied me service and told me that I need to work with restaurant rules not wanting to serve me as a client. She is rude and full of hate towards clients not accommodating to the difficulties that the client may have towards the situation I was in.

Christian is the best server! Prices are good.

By Hanna D |

Best place ever ! I just had a wonderful eggplant Milanese ! Thank you Christian for your recommendation ! Prices are very good, services is very friendly. My server Christian was the best, so fun and he knows everything about Messi ! I definitely be back .
