I had been here before, but forgot just how great this place is. From the moment you walk in the host or hostess make you feel like you have been coming here for years. I agree with one of the other reviewers that even crowded it has an intimate feel, and the Staff makes you feel like it is all about you and your table. The food is excellent and moves Italian up a notch. The corn risotto with seafood is wonderful. My wife had the lobster ravioli and loved it. The wine list is also very interesting and has some great wines from Italy. The bread putting is something that you will be talking about long after you leave. Now I know why my favorite niece says this is her favorite restaurant. I think it maybe mine too.

Love the food and the service. It's the kind of place where they remember your name even if you haven't been there in 7 months. Awesome wine list.

four for dinner/ in the neighbourhood /setting wonderful/ service terrible /food partially eaten - only GOOD thing was the warm goat cheese salad we split - sweet sausage CUT UP and buried in some very dark something(who cuts up sausage? -hard to FIND)!!! and corn risotto-shrimp etc just a plate of mush MUSH!!! meatballs side order was OVERWHELMED by BASIL and bread stuffed 'meat' ball / offered table bread and oil were both tasteless (certainly not a California olive oil, too bad, nor a respectable bakery) - coffee with 'speck' of cream adequate. MERCI MERCI she said as she passed by us -we all commented loudly WRONG COUNTRY and PLEASE give us the check..

This is a really cute place with elegance as well as feeling of being welcome like family. Good food - everything but especially pork meatballs are delicious. Service is great. They treated my son so good (he 4 and not easy to take out) even accommodated him at every turn so I could eat my dinner and enjoy at end of a working mother's day.

liked EVERYTHING! food well prepared, service was magnificent, personalized, and the amibience is very cozy

This is a classy place that feels casual, which is great. The staff is friendly and very attentive, and the food is quite delicious. They made a perfectly executed Pollo Milanese and their risotto is authentic and mouth watering.

WOW...great surprise of a find. AMAZING food, with some great Organic Wines too.

This restaurant is a great place for a special evening. The staff is exceptional. We were a group of 8 and were seated in the back of the dining room but we were never ignored. The staff was very attentive.

Had chicken lasagna, pasta with beef rib meat, pea soup and salad. All were good and served hot/cold and timely. A bit on the higher priced side. Call for a reservation or you will be taking your chances on getting a table.

Fantastic service and fantastic food!! Very nice decor and very nice wine selection. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. We drive from Moorpark to Toluca Lake to have dinner or lunch. That alone says a lot !

We happened to learn about Prosecco Trattoria by chance and made reservations. Upon entering the cozy room, the strong scent of garlic provided a promising introduction. A couple of chandeliers give the narrow room a touch of class. The ambience was relaxed. We got off to a good start with an excellent plate of grilled calamari. Next came an equally tasty vegetarian pea soup. The chicken-filled lasagne took some getting used to, but it worked.A grilled red snapper, seafood linguini and pasta in bolognese sauce also scored well with the rest of our table. The friendly and attentive service enhanced our experience. This place definitely warrants a repeat visit.

We have now been to Trattoria Prosecco quite a few times and it never disappoints. From the moment you enter you are greeted and welcomed as though you there yesterday. The waiters are just delightful. There are always lots of delicious specials. The list is so long I often need to hear it more than once. Extensive wine menu. Service is wonderful. Even if the restaurant is full you feel like the only customers. If you want to treat yourself and your friends to a wonderful evening please go to Trattoria Prosecco

The first time I ate here about a year ago, I was so impressed with the extremely warm and gracious welcome upon arrival, the outstanding service, and of course the most delicious food. Back in town again, when asked where I wanted to have a special dinner (the 80th birthday), no hesitation whatsoever - PROSECO, please. Once again, a truly delightful dining experience. The service from everyone, host, captain, servers, and one of the best bussers I have ever encountered made us feel like VIPs. The food: I loved every bite. Started out with their version of a Caesar salad, perfect way to start off. Pasta choice was a capellini alla checca, so simple, yet so delicious. The main event Black Angus tenderloin medallions were melt in your mouth tender and perfectly prepared. Alas, no room for dessert, but there will be other times. If I lived in the area, I would quickly become a regular

With old world charm, and a great Italian menu, this is a small but pleasant trattoria with a good wine list. The wild mushroom risotto with truffle sauce was an excellent choice. The tiramisu was a good dessert choice and The Prisoner merlot was excellent. This restaurant has valet parking which is needed on a busy Riverside Boulevard.

I took a friend to dinner here after she had me as a house guest. I gave her the choice of restaurant, and she picked Prosecca. Excellent choice. She had arrabiata: spicey herb marinara, chicken, and goat cheese with penne. I had corn risotto with grilled tiger shrimp, calamari, bay scallops and broccoli with a corn puree. The potions were generous. I had to take half of it home to enjoy a secod time. The risotto was so creamy and the seafood cooked just right. Wait staff very pleasant. I will be back next time I'm in the area.

My husband and I had the pleasure of eating here the other night, and we enjoyed our evening from the moment we walked in. Eric recommended we try the namesake wine (prosecco) and it was a perfect bubbly compliment to our meal. The spinach and lobster ravioli was fantastic. And don't forget about the bread pudding, it was the best we have ever eaten. We will definitely be back to this wonderful neighborhood dining spot.

You cannot go wrong here in ordering. The staff was really nice. The atmosphere was nice. Spicy chicken dish was amazing along with the wine list. Bread pudding was yum!

The cuisine is not from any particular region of Italy, but offer the usual Italian classics : all kind of pastas and risottos, osso bucco... that would satisfy most crowd. We had a good corn chowder and a bit spicy manilla clams as appetizers followed by a Milanese (unfortunately is was not the traditional veal one but a chicken breast) and a risotto. I had a short-lived hope to hear from the waiter that they had a sabayon ... but it was the ice cream version not the warm light custard made on the spot ... The Montepulciano wine was good and reasonable. The service was friendly. The décor is a bit dated.

I have driven by this restaurant a million times over the years but decided to stop this time with my father. The service was welcoming and efficient and the food was excellent We ordered a Caesar salad to split and the dressing was perfecto. Then we had two dinner specials a lobster and spinach ravioli and the scallops with mashed potatoes and spinach. The portions were sizable and the food was really really tasty The price is a bit on the higher end about 80 dollars for dinner not including alcohol but it's a lovely restaurant for family, couples friends business etc

We selected this restaurant because it afforded a quiet corner to talk with family members who were visiting from out of the country and we wanted to be able to talk. We started with Bruschetta which was serve yourself and worked out well because we had one person who doesn't eat bread and a shrimp appetizer that was the best part of the meal. Two of us enjoyed chicken lasagna. Not exactly happy with our server.

Have always really like this place that keeps a special place for someone special who eats there every night but a couple of weeks ago my son and I went there for dinner and Enzo who is 8 found a very long hair in his food. Waitress did not come back right away so I brought it up to counter to give to them. They tried to 1st say it was cheese then they started pulling on it with a fork and couldn't find the end of it because it buried in the ravioli - just gross. They then started to blame me decided not to and offered a new one - Enzo couldn't eat it. Full charge for it and no apology.

Divine food served by a lovely staff who ensure your wishes come true. We have stayed past closing hours twice now (two of two visits), and they had no qualms about letting us chat away the time after a mind-blowing meal. A lovely restaurant with great ambiance, you can while away the hours over creamy polenta and grilled shrimp, crab cakes, homemade pasta and beautiful cafe con leche. It's the real deal. I live across town, but I could eat there three times a week, easily. Mmmmm.

Four of us dined here last night, and it was just an alright experience. The reason our evening was just okay was due to the lack of service. Our waitress was unattentive, unhelpful, and bordering on rude. We asked for items, water and bread, twice before receiving them, and the butter we never did receive. When one of our party couldn't decide between two items on the menu, after a mere second of hesitation she rudely went onto the next guest saying "do YOU know what YOU want", this added to the sense that we were wasting her time. Now to the food. The mushroom soup was delicious, hard to believe that it was dairy free. I had the chicken lasagna, which was okay. The veal Milanese was devoured with pleasure by two of our table mates, though the vegetables were over cooked. The last dish was eggplant prosecco, which was very tasty. So maybe we had bad luck, but there are many other restaurants in the area to try before returning to this one.

The service was what you would hope for in a small, intimate, restaurant-friendly and professional. I had a great evening here. The Prosecco was very nice and the risotto wonderful. We had the butternut squash soup, which was fine. The bread pudding was not to my taste, as it had citrus peel in it and was a little wetter than I would have liked, but I think many would enjoy it.

This is a wonderful local spot. From the moment you walk in you are greated as if you were a regular (whether you are or not)... each person takes the time to look you in the eye and same something personal. The food is excellent with a wide choice of dishes... each standing on it's own merits. When we want to share a fine meal with good friends in a most inviting environment Prosecco Trattoria is near the top of our list. Maybe we'll see you there.

The service was very great. Got seated without reservations. Waitress was great in helping us with their specials and recommendations. They were able to accommodate food allergies and preferences. We got their caprese, seafood clam pasta with white wine sauce, corn risotto, and prawn pesto pasta. Personally, my favorite was their prawn pesto. The corn risotto was sweet and we'll flavored. They use corn butter. Never heard of it and was excited to try it. Complimentary bread basket. Really want to go back and try their lobster ravioli or risotto on a wknd in the future.

This little restaurant in Toluca Lake seemed to have many local, regular customers, we were visiting LA from out of state and felt right at home and welcomed there by both the employees & patrons. The food was excellent and they do have a fairly extensive menu. We were celebrating a birthday and they gave us a small complimentary Panna Cotta. Wish we lived in the area as this would be a favorite to visit often.

This is an amazing little Italian restaurant in Los Angeles. After eating way too many burgers I found this restaurant on Trip Advisor and was not disappointed. The menu has something for everyone. The service was outstanding. A truly wonderful experience. Generous portion sizes and delicious food.

Greeted at the door, had reservations. Seated promptly. Comp bread came ASAP and water and sever. Cool and quiet restaurant with all the trimmings for a delightful adventure in food , wine and ambiance. We asked to split our main course, no extra charge unlike other restaurants and the wine was a liberal pour ,not stingy here. Outstanding ,not so but very good service and value . Atmosphere has a romantic tone ,soft colors and separated tables for a quiet evening for the two of you. Even one of you for that matter as it is a foodie delight.

The best thing about Prosecco is the family ambience, represented by Eric and everyone else at the restaurant. We were there for a special family dinner. We had called in advance and Eric promptly returned our call so we could make a reservation and discuss a surprise for the guest of honor. Everyone made sure that our special dinner was warm and wonderful. While the service was delightful, the food was a bit on the average side. Among us, we had the Bresaola (carpaccio of air-cured beef with argula and parmesan), Bruscetta, soup of the day (artichoke), the Arrabiata, the sweet Italian sausage with farfalle, and the Ragu (with braised and shredded lamb), as well the Prosecco Bread Pudding and Espresso Brownie. Of the dishes, everyone agreed that the Ragu (with lamb) won the taste lottery, while both the bread pudding and brownie were a tasty way to end an enjoyable family meal. Prosecco made a special effort and brought out a beautiful panna cotta with berries for the guest of honor. Family members dine regularly at Prosecco, It's really a nice family style restaurant with beautiful atmosphere and genuinely lovely service.

I've been to Prosecco many times and enjoyed the food. Tonight was incredibly different. The entrees were served late and when the waiter broke an entire bottle of red wine on the floor next to me, shards of glass flew into my purse and the wine drenched my coat, destroying it. Instead of apologizing, he simply cleaned the floor and walked away. When he came to our table to deliver the check and my fiancee complained, he begain to yell then leaned over me and threatened to beat the hell out of him. He was pulled away, then came back and pushed into me again, screaming and threatening violence. I was terrified. Everyone in the restaurant vowed not to return, the man (who claimed to be the owner) was held outside while we walked to our car. Horrifying and terrifying experience. Will never return.

Great Italian food, good atmosphere -- felt like a restaurant in Italy. The clams, salads, pastas and fish were all cooked perfectly, nice wine list.

We love their delicious pasta dishes and scallops. They always greet us like old friends. The service is leisurely. The only thing missing is good bread but their food and desserts are delicious !

Very pretty little restaurant. That certainly was the best thing about it. Food was mediocre at best. Service was terribly slow, not only for the food but waiting for a glass of wine. We won't return. The staff was nice though.

There aren't many restaurants in Toluca Lake that can be called romantic, but this qualifies as one of them. A little pricey, but very good California-Italian with a decent wine list.

We visited during lunch, had reservations, which was good since they were very busy. The restaurant has a very intiment feel to it. The staff was very friendly and and the service was very timely. I had the chicken pasta which had good flavor but chicken was a little over done.

Prosecco is in my backyard and I've been there countless times. Here's my take: it's the best restaurant you've never been to and I guarantee that once you do go, you'll NEVER go anywhere else in this city for Italian. LOCATION: Right in the heart of Toluca Lake, a darling little neighborhood nestled between Studio City/Burbank. Arrive to Toluca Lake before your reso if you'd like to stroll the shops, have a cocktail in one of the neighboring spots, or just enjoy the small town vibe! There is decent parking in the neighborhood, but we always just valet directly in front of the restaurant. FOOD: Simply divine. My husband and I have tried nearly everything on the menu and we have loved every. single. dish. That is not hyperbole. Fresh, full of flavor and just a delight to the palate. Our favs: bruschetta, pear gorgonzola salad, spicy pork meatballs pasta, misto mare, short rib risotto, osso bucco, scallops and, the "we-fight-for-who-gets-the-last-bite" bread pudding. My mouth is literally watering having typed all of those dishes. WINE: Excellent wine selection, including some lovely sparkling options. We usually get a bottle of wine and we always start with a glass of Prosecco because, well, it's just what you do at a restaurant named, "Prosecco!" SERVICE: In addition to the amazing food (did I mention how good it is?) the service is what keeps us coming back. There are are hundreds of Italian restaurants in LA. And I'm sure that many of them have great food too, but the staff here is unparalleled. From our very first visit, before we were regulars, they made us feel welcome. The entire staff is kind, knowledgable and genuinely strives to provide a memorable, positive experience. And they always do! They remember our names, where we like to sit and even the wine we like to drink. Who does that anymore these days? The best analogy I can think of is this: Prosecco is sort of like when your friend brings you home for family dinner the first time. You don't know anyone and they don't know you. I mean, yeah, your friend said grandma is cool and you'll love Uncle Mike, but you aren't really sure what to expect. When you walk in the door, BOOM! Warm greetings, introductions, smiles all around. They are so glad you're there! By the end of the dinner they've made you feel like one of the family, you are are hugging everyone as you say goodbye and asking your friend when you can visit again. So really that's the best way I can describe it: Prosecco is like going home.

Good food , huge servings, great service and nice ambience . Our favorites were the pancetta carbonara, crab cake appetizer and corn chowder. I definitely recommend !

My friend and I had a business meeting across the street from Prosecco and wanted to debrief and catch up over some dinner. She suggested we go to Prosecco and I agreed, reluctantly at first. I don't typically go to a new restaurant without doing a little research and advance prep. But I was starved so I followed my stomach and my friend inside. Upon entering I was immediately struck by the lively ambiance and noticed at even at about 6:30 on a Thursday, the place was more than 1/2 full, good sign. The decor is classy, understated and goes with the Italian theme of the name. We were warmly greeted by Amy, the owner, as soon as we walked in and she welcomed us warmly and we started a conversation about he place, how long she's run and owned it (16 years) and how much of her staff has been with her as well for most of those years. That is a great sign, employee loyalty means happy employees and a good working environment. Ok, so we had not yet sat down and I was already thinking wow, we got a winner here! We got a great table for two against the wall where we could see it all but be isolated enough to talk shop. When it came time to order it was not what to get, but what not to get- I wanted it all. I started with the polenta and giant prawns appetizer. One word: phenomenal. Beautifully balanced flavors, expertly prepared and plated. I was in love. We also split a caprese salad which was extremely good but could have had had a coupl additionalmslocesmif mozzarella. There was a lot more tomato and basil going on so it would be nice to have enough cheese to finish everything else with the mozzarella. I'm a cheese lover, that's why I even mention it. The campari tomatoes were sweet and delicious and wonderfully dressed. For my main course I ordered a Risotto in corn puree, with grilled Tiger shrimp, calamari, bay scallops and broccoli. Ok, seriously? This had to be one of the BEST entrees I had ever had the pleasure of enjoying. The balance of flavors, the richness and complexity of textures and and freshness of the seafood made this a remarkable choice. Loved it! Friend had the ravioli of the day which was in a spicy tomato sauce so I didn't try it. She said it was fantastic. We had a wonderful server as well who was friendly, attentive and very personable. I can see why this place has been around as long as it has... Great people, plus great food and a great atmosphere. Truly a winner. Improvements: I would have one small recommendation for improvements. Which would also be a money making change as well. They need to get a better balsamic vinegar. A suggest an aged 12 or 18 yr old vinegar. This small change will foe a million miles when used for dipping bread, as a sald dressing and when offered on the menu as an item to take home. I've done that in the past -loved the vinegar so much that they sell me a bottle from their pantry. If they make it up several dollars over their cost, it's an easy money maker and not preparation required. So if you want a great Italian restaurant and are tired if mediocre restaurants, head to Prosecco. They will treat you right, feed you extremely well and win you over as they did me. Enjoy and I'd suggest making reservations.

When in Burbank, looking for some good homemade Italian food, Prosecco is the spot. As a New Yorker, I'm a bit spoiled with Italian dining, but I am always satisfied with the food served here. Good fish, pastas and other specials. The service and help are excellent, and very accommodating.

I cannot call this fine dining, but if you want middle of the road dining on your way to the Falcon Theatre, then this is not half bad. It is a cheerful place and the servers are efficient and friendly. They only serve beer, wine and Prosecco in various cocktails, but the wine I had was lovely, a French Sauvignon Blanc. The food was good, but unimaginatively plated. I had a delicious arugula salad with shaved parmesan to start with and had no complaints. They brought a basket of bread which should have been warm and was not . Sigh. My entree was just ho hum. it was one of their specials of the evening - a sauteed whitefish with a lemon, caper sauce, grilled vegetables and a choice of rosemary potatoes or garlic whipped potatoes. Very tiny piece of fish. Same for my friend who ordered the salmon. Way too small for a dinner portion - about 4 oz - but the smallness of the fish was more than made up for by a huge portion of mixed vegetables and a huge portion of potatoes. Everything tasted good even though the vegetables were overcooked, but it just looked so unattractive - like someone just slopped it on the plate. There was no elegance or artistry to the presentation. It was just globs of food. They have music in the background coming from speakers in the ceiling, but hearing it is hit or miss given the loud noise level. It is a very bustling place, obviously a neighborhood hangout. I would not make a special trip to come back here. The ambiance was just not that special.. But for a relatively inexpensive dinner before the theatre, it was not bad.

I've eaten in many Italian restaurants, Prosecco Trattoria does not dissappoint. The quality of food, service and setting are very good and I would definitely return here.

Fabulous meal! Pinot Noir - Barra, was the best! Service and food were just right on a Friday evening out with the girls. We had the bowtie pasta, Black Angus medallions and special, seabass. Thank you, Eric, for checking on my reservation a few days prior to our reserved date. Salute!

Really nice little Italian, great service, great food and great ambiance. Went for a birthday meal (we put that down on the reservation) and they came out at the end with a little cake. Would definitely visit again.

....never a disappointment....good food and drink, great service, cozy atmosphere

A culinary orchestra that transformed dinner into something really quite different. The passion fruit tea is complex, nuanced, and addictive. It has a depth of texture that just leaves you wanting more... in a good way. The entree was a lamb ragu with gluten free pasta. It was so good I'm going to have to go to confession after I convert. Sinfully decadent flavors layered and woven like a tapestry in this dish that you just had to slowly savor and contemplate. Was almost tempted to dessert, but passed it up. Totally worthwhile to splurge. Do it -- the sin of gluttony is easily forgiven in this circumstance.

A friendly neighborhood spot with exceptionally good food, modest prices and excellent service.

Decent Italian.

We love that this place is right around the corner from our house! The food is great. The owner is so nice and always remembers us. We always start with the bruschetta (so good) and a bottle of one of their organic wines. For dinner, I always get the Misto Mare - everytime. I'm always tempted to try something new, but the misto mare is so good! The desserts are always excellent. What a neighborhood gem!

We've been there at least a dozen times with guests On this night we were introduced to the Garden Room or Waiting Area for a tune of 45 minutes & was told that we were called because they were running behind- checked my caller ID -no calls. No real sincere appologies, but was asked if we would like a drink while we waited. Three of us declined, but my wife did order wine & our gracious charged us.( I was given drinks at Larsens because We waited 15 minutes ). The other thing is that they only serve ONE Italian beer-if they need more room for beer why don't they run on time & use the Garden Room for storage.

Warmly greeted by Eric. Food was average at best. Wine chosen was not the best. The starter was warm goats cheese salad, it was ok. My starter was Caprese, boring and tasteless. Main course of chicken lasagne was 'very heavy'; Mushroom Risotto was bland but you could taste the stock cube! Just had coffee to conclude.

When visiting family in California, we all went out to dinner. This is by far my top 3 Italian restaurants I’ve ever ate dinner at. Everything was AMAZING, from the staff, food, service! We had the back room all to our self and controlled the air conditioning. The wine was great and the staff was very knowledgeable about their menu and wines. The food was to die for and never was rushed and enjoyed an amazing meal. I would go back the next night and never get bored with the menu or wines. It wasn’t loud and the decor was cozy and perfect. Can’t wait to go back to try another new dish!!!

Prosecco is a perfect little gem tucked into Riverside Drive. It's beautiful and welcoming, and the staff treats even newcomers like old friends. The service is attentive, complete, knowledgeable and excellent (thank you Jessica), and the food is absolutely wonderful. They have adventurous specials every day, but just the excellent menu would be enough. There are so few places to enjoy walking in LA, and Prosecco is right in the middle of one of the best streets for strolling before or after a delicious lunch or dinner. Valet parking, but lots of street parking too.

great food and service.

Excellent food and service in a lovely setting. While this was a busy place, we felt that we were the reason they were open on Tuesday night! Our picky 4 year old grandson was served a special plate of his requests and enjoyed it and the crusty bread. There is no children's menu and really isn't a place for kids, but my daughter really wanted one of their salad entries and my SIL had his mind on the beef medallions. Everyone was happy!

Six of us were going to the theater so we decided to have dinner in Toluca Lake and we chose Prosecco Trattoria. We ordered a couple of appetizers, a couple of salads and a bottle of wine to get things rolling. All of them were very good. For our entrees, each of us had something different. Our group routinely shares our dinners with the others so everyone gets a taste of the various entrees. After tasting six different dishes, I can say all of the food was quite good, as was the service. On the down side, for some unknown reason, we were seated in the back corner of the restaurant, in a narrow room, which I found uncomfortable. There were other spots in the restaurant that could have accommodated a party of six.

My fiance and I started coming here last summer and have been dozens of times. The food is consistently excellent. I always get the farfalla with broccoli which is simple and light, but amazingly delicious. They also offer a number of daily specials which I understand are excellent. I was surprised to read that someone experienced bad service. It was probably an off night. We have found it to be consistently attentive and friendly, especially Katie and Eric who always remenber us and greet us by name. A nice personal touch. The place is quite small so do call ahead, especially Friday and Saturday evenings. If there is a con it would their corkage which I understand from friends is quite high for a casual restaurant. We always just by wine by the glass, which is not unreasonably priced.

We had reserved a private room for 23 of us including 2 7 month old twins. The food was delicious and my Italian niece even thought it was great. We were able to order off the menu which was a plus but it did take a little longer to serve. There is valet parking and street parking after 6. The owner was very helpful with the reservation. I would definitely return again;.

I've been to Prosecco before when visiting my family in L.A. I always get the eggplant which is the best I've had. The service is impeccable, and the food is divine.

Lovely Italian restaurant, full of life and stories. Everything is delicious and the service is the best. You feel like home thanks to Eric and his staff. A must!! :)

Fabulous Italian restaurant with delicious food in a beautiful setting. Eric, the manager, always knows the perfect wine recommendation to go with the food, and their wines are delightful. On weekends, they make an exquisite Lobster Risotto. The service is fabulous and we have NEVER had a bad experience there in over five years! This is our favorite place when we want to have a lovely evening either as a couple, with friends, and/or to celebrate a special occasion. Of course, I'm scared this will become too popular and then we won't get in!! The best of the best in Toluca Lake, the Valley, and even Los Angeles!

My husband and I decided to try a new restaurant in a new neighborhood, I'm glad we did. The service was great, and we enjoyed our meals. I had the vegetarian risotto and my husband had the had pro chicken. We had the bruschetta with mozarella for an appetizer and that was very good as well. We will definitely come back

Very quaint little restaurant. Restaurant manager welcomed us on arrival and excellent waitress, very atetntive and friendly. Other staff was also excellent. Dishes were tasty and well proportioned, good value for dollar. Had the feeling of a local family, traditinal Italian restuarant. Very close to Universal City.

It's a sparkling, Italian-themed restaurant in the heart of Toluca Lake, with gloriously impressive art throughout (brought over from Europe, according to the very friendly host - or was he the owner?). The menu is interesting, with some familiar Italian items and several unusual ones. It's fairly expensive, but well worth it. Loved the service and the amusing Italian waiter from Fresno (which he almost apologetically told us about, in a very funny way). The sound level was almost perfect, especially considering the restaurant was full (on a Tuesday night, no less!). We will certainly be back.

Dining at Prosecco always feels like dining with family. From the moment you walk in, Eric and Anthony greet you with warmth, and the entire staff is attentive and engaging. On March 22, 2025, we had the privilege of celebrating our daughter’s 30th birthday with family and friends in the beautiful Chandelier Room. The setting was exquisite and added to the love and joy of the occasion. Our server, Bryce, was exceptional, ensuring every order was just right, while the kitchen staff perfectly timed the meal so everyone was served together. As always, the food was delicious. The evening was truly magical, made even more special by Prosecco’s own 30th anniversary—it was the perfect place to celebrate this milestone. Thank you, Prosecco!

Recently had both lunch and dinner here last week. I was totally blown away with the friendliness and attention of the staff. Corn chowder, the pastas, salads, all wonderful. Particular mention to the variety of pastas as well, some quite unusual and very authentic. This will be our new "go to" in the neighborhood.

Great veggie Italian food here and very good service . It is a bit more expensive than many nearby but I thought it was worth it. Felt a little bit rushed at the end as they were closing but would recommend this for good hearty Italian food.

Made reservations for an early dinner in order to make a dance concert. Romantic window table for two with a Prosecco for each of us to start the affair. Excellent, attentive service from our entrance into the charming eatery. We started with the brochette, which was delicious and a large portion. We both had their signature scallops entry; perfect portions and wonderfully prepared. Followed up with a garden salad which was also fresh with a delightful balsamic dressing. Did not have room for dessert but the meal was prompt and we had plenty of time to make our concert. Will return to try some of the pasta dishes, in particular, have heard great things about their lasagne.

I love this restaurant. I go here any time I'm in Burbank. Their corn chowder is to die for, and everything else I've had is great also. Good, friendly, welcoming service and a very nice atmosphere. Definitely have to dine here.

If you walk by this restaurant and look in the little-paned windows, you would be tempted to stop in even if you had reservations somewhere else. Classy decor with cream-colored walls, chandeliers, real tablecloths and heavy wooden chairs. The room is cozy and the tables are usually full with diners in lively conversation. The wait staff worked at break-neck speed, but always pleasantly. They were friendly and chatty when taking our orders and answering our questions. I had the ravioli "of the day." Even though I can't remember what flavorings were in it, the taste itself was memorable. Deliciously fresh and interesting. This restaurant is very popular, so reservations would be a good idea. Toluca Lake isn't full of parking lots, but if you can't find a space on the street, there is valet parking.

We went here for lunch with friends, who like to use separate checks. The food and service were excellent, but they are not willing to do separate checks. Next time we go, we will get two tables for two that are next to each other and slide them together...

This is a great restaurant in Toluca Lake that will meet every expectation you have for a great culinary night out. From the moment our party of seven was greeted with hospitality and graciousness at the door, and seated at a rather quiet spot in the back we knew we were in for a wonderful evening. Seating seven at a table where we could all converse plus hear the other party was wonderful. We started with drinks and then proceeded with our meals. To make this write up easier, four of our party had the lamb chops. Each person received theirs perfectly cooked as they had ordered and they were delicious. One person had just angel hair pasta with marinara sauce, and had enough to take some home. She loved it. The two true Italians in the group went more towards the cooking they used to get from their mother and grandmother. One had a pasta sausage dish and the other an egg plant lasagna. None of the lasagna went home, but some of the sausage dish made it home because the guy couldn't stop trying some of the other dishes. This is a beautiful establishment that runs very smoothly. Locals have told me that the lunch scene is as busy as the dinner because of the two movie studios near by. They do have at least one private room for meetings or parties if you are looking for a nice place. Go, relax and enjoy a wonderful time. Cape Code Blackie

We have been coming to Prosecco for the past 15 years and absolutely love the food, the ambience, and the marvelous service. Owner and host Eric, Katie, and the entire staff are warm, welcoming, and attentive. The food is wonderful -- some of our favorites include the veal marsala, the amazing pastas, the steak medallions, the irresistible bruschetta. We've brought friends here many times, all of whom have enjoyed Prosecco immensely. It remains our first choice whenever we have something to celebrate -- even if that means celebrating the start of the weekend!

What a great find! This was our first time here & we will definitely be back. The service was fantastic and the food was incredible. We highly recommend the lobster ravioli & the white fish special. Also, be sure to order the bread pudding dessert...this was one of the best desserts we’ve ever had!

Owner Amy, Mgr. Eric and server Nicole were amazing. Nicole gave the three young Flower Girls extra attention and the excellent kitchen staff made them special dishes. Everyone loved the food and especially the deserts! The private room allowed us to tell stories about the wonderful Groom and magnificent Bride. Thank you, David

Delicious food, lovely atmosphere, terrific service. Nice, but not fussy. I loved it! The place is fairly small and tables are close together though, so be aware of that. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. I would go again!

This is the BEST place to eat! The food is amazing! Make sure you have reservations. This is better than most restaurants in Little Italy in New York!

I called same day and the gracious host got me a reservation. This is a perfect spot for an intimate and romantic real Italian dinner. Even crowded it has an intimate feel. Friendly service and very local feel to it. I'd go anytime. Had the chicken lasagna. Terrific. My friend had a special ravioli of the day a roasted corn and crab. Also good. Shared special daily soup...mushroom. Too full for dessert. Great local spot!

We had about 8 people and of them, 6 LOVED their food. I had a side of the spicy pork meatballs and they were fantastic. My friend loved the scallops dish, they were perfectly cooked. The crab cakes were really great too. I'd recommend this spot and would definitely go back.

This is my first review of Prosecco after visiting 5 or 6 times a year for the past 5 years. Prosecco is a small, neighborhood italian restaurant that prides itself in serving italian fare that is prepared to perfection. My sister and her husband brought us here 5 years ago and it still remains first on the list of places to have dinner when we drive down for our frequent visits. Although the menu is smaller than you find at some Italian restaurants, Eric and Katie offer outstanding daily specials that we recommend you try. Prosecco has a full service bar and wine list along with excellent desserts (if you still have room).. My recommendation is any of the veal dishes, the homemade pastas and the fresh fish specials.. BTW, this is a small, cozy restaurant, so make sure you come early or have a reservation.. as Prosecco fills up quickly.. Enjoy!!!!

Excellent cuisine in a beautiful place. A very varied menu with all sorts of well prepared meals for all tastes, but oriented towards Italian or Euopean food.

Very good Italian food, especially for California. Nice, intimate atmosphere conducive to conversation. Server was very helpful and efficient. Overall the food was good, although I was a bit disappointed in the pasta bolognese which was listed on the menu as a short rib ragu. I found it to be a bit bland and just seemed to be ground beef, not a real rich & meaty ragu as I've had elsewhere (and made myself). Not terrible, but below my expectations. That said, all of the other diners at my table were very happy with their selections so I'll write off my experience as just a difference in style of bolognese. I would definitely return to try other dishes when in the area again.

Amy and Eric run a lovely, small Italian restaurant in the shadow of the Burbank studios. Their staff are the best in the business, Katie, Anthony, Jessica and who can forget Speedy will make sure you are well taken care of. I usually call a few minutes before we head over and they have our table, with our bottle of wine in a chiller waiting for us. Service is as quick or as leisurely as you like it. The food is always excellent and they're more than happy to make any substitutions you like. Our favorites are the beef medallions (Bobby orders double mash, no veg), the clam appetizer is big enough for a meal in a delicious spicy red sauce, the fish of the day (whatever it is) is always tasty and I get spinach only (its off the menu, but they're happy to accommodate me), their eggplant parmesan is baked, no breading so its light and slightly spicy, and the occasional specials of veal, always delicious, and cippiono (no wiggly calamari legs for me)!! And then there's the Bobby Special!! Their Fruta de Mare linguini with clams only, in a champagne butter sauce. All of their salads are delicious (I like the warm grilled mushroom salad with goat cheese), but their soups are to die for!! I want to swim in a vat of the artichoke soup!! Always vegetarian, dairy free. If you manage to leave room for dessert, you can never go wrong with the bread pudding or the warm gooey brownie. Their wine list offers something for everyone. And due to its proximity to the studios in Burbank, you'll probably see a few celebrities enjoying the food and atmosphere as well!!

Small, intimate, Italian / European style. Great serving team, discreet, but always there. Dinner was excellent and creative. We shared the goat cheese salad, nicely seasoned, and for dinner the salmon and the chicken pasta. All was delicious. Taking some home, the next day was equally delicious, with fond memories!

I came here for lunch a couple of weeks ago (repeat customer...lunch and dinner) and really enjoyed the corn and seafood risotto (I also love a couple of their salads and their pasta with chicken and sundried tomatoes). When I noticed that they offer gluten free pasta, I decided we'd celebrate my daughter's birthday there the following week, which we did. We didn't partake in the wine, which was sad, but went straight for our meal, which was top notch all the way around. We started with shrimp and polenta, which I decided we'd get as an appetizer to share. I was a little sorry that I elected to share it -- it was SOOO good! The birthday girl got pasta and was so excited to have such a variety to choose from. The other daughter got the short rib risotto. It was a bit too rich to eat in one sitting, but so good that her second sitting was the next day. I decided on the lasagna, and my husband got a seafood pasta and we were both very happy with our choices. We ended with a birthday panna cotta (they really took note of the gluten free, which was really nice!). I've only tried panna cotta a couple of times and was never a fan. Now I can't wait to go back for lunch one day...wine, the shrimp and polenta, and panna cotta...I have to have! As for service and ambiance, top notch. This is a great local spot. I've been here before and will continue to come back

When entering Prosecco Trattoria you will feel as though you are being welcomed into an old world Italian home for dinner. The decor, including wall murals & beautiful chandeliers truly takes one to "another place". We were warmly greeted & our server was friendly, professional, helpful & attentive. The menu is quite extensive. We ordered from the "daily specials". We chose chicken in a lemon sauce & risotto with sun dried tomatoes & sausage. Both were mouth watering-delicious. The servings were very ample. We ordered tiramisu to go. It also was beyond delicious. Our granddaughter had an added bonus when she sighted a movie star. A truly wonderful 20th birthday celebration for her.

We've had dinner here before, but we didn't make reservations soon enough this time, so we ended up coming for lunch a few days later (reservations are taken for lunch as well). The risotto was as good as I remembered, but we decided to take part of our meal home so we could fit in dessert. It was worth it!

popular b-day lunch spot, food is great, but can be little pricey for lunch crowd, and service little slow slower experience, so if you have that in mind, you will be fine

It was a Saturday and my birthday. My husband and I had planned on going to another restaurant but that fell through. So we decided to go to Prosecco Trattoria but we didn't have a reservation. Valentine weekend and a popular place, we didn't think about not getting in. When we got there we told him we didn't have reservations but fortunately he did have one table left for us. My husband ordered the seafood pasta and I ordered the special, lobster ravioli. BIG YUM to both!! It was the same waitress we had in November, when we went for our Anniversary, she was so nice, so joyful. Hubby told her it was my birthday and she brought me a dessert. The man at the table beside ours had a birthday too and we wished each other happy birthday. Such a friendly place!

I recently celebrated my 50th birthday at this place, in their elegant/charming function room, together with 17 of my closest relatives and friends! We all had a great time! Food was awesome and service was exceptional!

Prosecco has it all. My wife and I have been celebrating our most special occasions here for the past 4 years. Our only regret is that it took us so long to find this neighborhood gem. Amy and Eric are the most hospitable people I've ever met in any restaurant. They make you feel at home. The food is fabulous, as is the service. Once you try it, you'll be back often.

Found this restaurant on Trip Advisor. Based on the reviews, I made a reservation. Charming restaurant and delicious food. My husband and I both cleaned our plates. Staff was very nice and attentive. Will definitely visit again when in the area.
Charming
Prosecco is a beautiful little Italian restaurant in Toluca Lake; last week we took our visiting family to have dinner there. We were shocked because we had not made a reservation and they were completely packed at 7pm on a Tuesday night! Luckily, they were very sweet about it and arranged for a table for our party of 5 pretty quickly. We started off with an order of their bruschetta, which everyone at the table enjoyed. Lots of fresh chopped tomatoes and herbs, served with crusty bread. I got the chicken, sun dried tomato and artichoke pasta, which was filling and delicious. The ambience is absolutely lovely inside, with dim golden lighting and crystal chandeliers. I highly recommend this place for either a nice family dinner or a romantic date night. But make reservations!
