Food was really delicious, friendly waiters and kitchen work super fast, but all comes with a price. Dishes are small (the idea is to order like tapas) and prices per dish are around $15. The wagyu rolls ($16) are spectacular, and so is the butter krab ($12). Desserts were nothing special. Try to make a reservation to avoid waiting.

The sashimi are all divine: fresh, tender, creative, tasty. The squid is tender, soft. Nothing is heavy. The menu is super diverse.

Good service. Food not so tasty and reasonable presentation. Good environment with good TV, for those who like to watch game. Price ok Stay at Brickell City center

Epically good sushi is what you’ll find here! Plus a wide variety of other dishes to suit many a palate. We had sushi, pork belly, beef tartare and a glorious chocolate dessert. Service was super quick and friendly here. We made a reservation several weeks in advance and it’s a good thing we did, such a popular restaurant. We had 8 dishes and a bottle of wine which came to $180US roughly including taxes and service.

Eating solo, it was great to be sat at the bar. I was able to watch the basketball 🏀 and get immediate service. Staff were friendly, and accommodating. Food was good; I had the tuna tartare and edamame BBQ salt - nice easy snacks.

Pubbelly Sushi is nice eat alone but the bar was booming. Everyone smiling good energy , staff was amazing and they made me a wonderful drink.

Can’t miss this japanesse restaurant located in Miami Brickell City Center. Very nice food, new sushi creations, excelent recipes, delicious. Friendly ambient and good service.

This is the place I visit every time I come to Miami. Great food - you can close your eyes and order anything. Remember to take Rising Sun as a drink! Ah and stay away from desserts - tried them all - not worth it.

Had dinner before going to the movies in Brickell City Center. Even though we were a large table also with kids, the service was very good and the sushi also very good. They are quick, and we were in time for a very (very!!) poor movie (Traffik).

Food was not that good...in my opinion the restaurant is very overpriced for the quality of food and drinks offered.

Went for lunch with my wife on Sunday. We are from UK. Spent over $90 and we were barely in the restaurant for 1/2 hr. I’ve never been so rushed in my life. It was as if the mission of the place was to get you in and out as quickly as possible. I would expect a more leisurely experience for this amount. The guy who cleared the table was removing dishes from the table as we ate and actually tried to remove my plate before I had finished - shocking. The waitress was pleasant and the food was OK but nothing special. Would never return. 3 for the food (average). 1 for the rest. Giving 2 overall

So glad gave this place a try. Food was delicious. We had a few different plates and each of them was better than the other one. The coconut dessert was amazing and they were featuring an specialty sangria that was out of this world. Will definitely be back soon.

The service and food was average. It is always busy and we had to wait a bit for the table. Our group ordered everything to share so I got to try several rolls and appetizers. I thought overall that the food was okey and the service as well.

The food is good but over priced. The service is below average. Very disorganized. We were a party of three, and they brought my appetizer and my main course, abd didn't bring any of the food ordered to the other two. When I ask the waitress, her response was unbelievable: "...we bring the food to the table as they come from the kitchen..." You don't even get that answer at MacDonald! This is the only restaurant that I know that send the food in any order not caring to bring at the same time for the guests to eat together" . I think the owners forget to read the chapter about "restaurant management" . Never go back again to this place.

Our sushi was incredible and the service was just as splendid as the two rolls we ordered. We had the yellowtail and crispy salmon roll and they were both delicious. We had little to no wait time and the music was also a delight!

I was a little bit hesitant to write this review as I do not consider myself at all a connoisseur of sushi. In fact I rarely eat sushi except for occasions like this night that I was out with my wife for her birthday and she was craving sushi. The good news is my wife absolutely loves Sushi and thought that this place was amazing I have been known to like a roller to and also thought it was good. But the main reason I wrote this review is because the other reasons one goes to a restaurant where exemplified at this place. The atmosphere was great even in the middle of the week the place was packed and though we could find a seat at the bar we still got a table in about 8 minutes. At any moment it seemed we might not be able to find our waiter a manager was close by to see if you needed anything. The customer service was great the bathrooms were clean and the atmosphere was vibrant. So on top of great sushi it's just a great restaurant I recommend a visit.

These rolls are very good!! We stopped in on the fly not expecting much but it honestly left me wanting more! The one thing that was bothersome was that they did not have any beers familiar to me but the waitress made short work of it by getting me a beer that I honestly thought was very good!

The Pubbelly Group has lost a customer for life. We came in for lunch for our third time with my family to the new restaurant in Brickell City Centre on 2.19.2017 at 230pm. (I have always bragged about their other restaurants.)We ordered appetizers and drinks for a table of 8 people. Soon after a manager came by and said we could not have a stroller on the restaurant. My 1 year old daughter was a sleep in the stroller. They asked if we could wake her up, put her in high chair and take the stroller outside as they didn't allow strollers at the restaurant. I was there the week before at the same table with my family. No one mentioned strollers were to allowed then. What's even worse is the manager came over and said "nope you have to go". They made us pay for our bill and tossed us out. We walked next door to Tacology which was more than welcoming to our family and gave us a great table with our stroller. Unbelievable how this was handled. We felt like criminals on our Sunday afternoon lunch. Never again.

such a pretty center. great architecture. fun place to visit. love the restaurant. now there are several. great food. creative. great service.. varied menu...

Went for the second time to Pubelly sushi and this time I went to the Brickell location, I can tell very satisfied that I got one of my best experiences eating in there. Had Shane as my server, an incredible and super servicial person, couldn't ask for one of the best tho, he offered me the entire food experience based on his knowledge and let me tell you this server knew the menu up and down, and the best things on it. Food was delicious, cant complain either about the managers, they were 2 of them and they came to greet the table and to check how all was going so far, I can remember Enrique´s name but forgot the other manager name. I truly recommend this place.

The food was delicious and came fast. Cindy (server) was knowledgeable and helped me choose items because of my shellfish allergy. I had the edamame, steak anticuchos, the truffle corn and the short rib and truffle dumplings.

Good Japanese food The service is very good Price is expensive , $$$$ Need reservation The menu is ok Nice place Accept credit cards

Look at the picture. Does this look like $100 of sushi to you. Edamame - $4 everywhere. Bang-Bang Shrimp $5-$8 everywhere, 6 pieces of sashimi-$8 everywhere. Here? $100 sure we had a $15 bottle of wine but this was the other $85! Go anywhere else. HIGHLY recommend sushiato over this crap. It is one block away and a thousand times better. Awful. Avoid!

I used to go to the original location in Surfside which was very good; this is our second time at this one and not impressed by the plates, service was okay, but most service in Miami lacks professionalism. We tried a variety of dishes and besides the ceviche none were outstanding, even skipped dessert. They have grown to much and keeping quality the same is an issue. I like the concept, so I will keep trying...

Small plates but so delicious! I enjoyed the Butter Cab roll and its amazing! The restaurant is very modern, the waiter was very attentive.

Good food, good wines, good vibes... Sashimi is really fresh, with an amazing taste and just melts in your mouth.

Best sushi ever Atmosphere was very clean and comfortable the service was great everything Shane had recommended we tried and I definitely would recommend the heat roll

Had lunch there and was not impressed with the quantity or quality of the food. The price to value was disappointing. Had the Salmon Poke Bowl and zucchini side and found them mediocre The service was pretty good and had a nice decor and ambience.

Amazing meal, great service. All the below were very yummy: Tuna pizza shishito peppers butter krab roll pork belly robata chicken robata sashimi - TORO, tuna, salmon Dessert of the sesame ice cream and bread pudding is INSANE!!!!

We had to wait for a table because only the table next to the hostess was available. Waited 30 minutes and totally worth it. Everything about the experience was excellent. From the service, the staff, the cocktails and food. The Heat Roll, octopus and the shrimp ceviche tacos were all amazing. The CMBP chocolate bread pudding was out of this world. Definitely will be back for more.

Great sushi place in downtown Miami. The place is really nice and offers indoor and outdoor dining. The service is average. The portions are a bit small for the price that you are paying. I understand that sushi restaurants are always going to be a bit on the pricy side, but in my opinion, I don’t think that this one was worth it. The food is delicious don’t get me wrong, but I think you can find better sushi restaurants with bigger portions, better tasting food, and better prices. Nothing special, just average.

Pubbelly sushi has great food in a great environment. Our server Jenny was very knowledgeable and proactive. I thought the portions were a good value and I will definitely return.

The food here was great, the service was fast, and our waitress Jenny helped us navigate the extensive menu. The rockshrimp app was especially good and the DJ roll is perfect if you like a saucy roll. We'll definitely have to come back during happy hour!

I want to start with "WOW" everything we tried was better than the previous one! "Except for the oysters" $18 for 6 very little oysters! Not worth it! Also if you sit at the bar the chairs Are To high so your legs wont fit under the counter. These are the only reason I did not give this a 5 star! I believe for 5 stars everything must be perfect! If it's your first time I highly recommend the following and all to share! Ok you heard this here first!! Start with the "FRENCH ONION SOUP" yes you heard me right! It's shockingly amazing as it's a mix of miso/French onion! Trust me on this one!! Next go with the grilled octopus, and you must have the bigeye tuna it's minced tuna over a lightly battered fried rice! OMG! The butter Crab is fabulous even though it was not bite size! Go for it and you will love it! Although we did not try the Tostones de Ceviche, I was told it's also a must! Looking forward to many more culinary experiences here! My advise is cancel your current reservation and make one here tonight! Service was excellent and nice to see the manager walk around and check on each table!

Friendly and adequate service from start to finish. Go to variety of sushi’s and other plates. The food is really good and the ambiente is nice

This is a pretty good restaurant. The food is awesome. It is not the traditional Japanese food, it is kind of an extremely successful mix between the Japanese and the International Cuisine. The environment is not the best, but it is not bad either. I strongly recommend the Krab Butter Roll.

Went to Pubbelly after a few people recommended it to me and we were glad that we went. Had a few different rolls to share and they were all very inventive and very fresh. Also the drinks were good too. There are a few locations now but this one is in Brickell City Center which is also nice to walk around in if you have some time to kill. The standout dish for me was the tuna with truffle oil. Excellent.

Checked out this place on a recent trip. Packed and buzzing with guests. Ordered the Rockshrimp Tempura with buffalo sauce and the Crispy Salmon roll. Both were good choices.

4.1 ⭐️just as its Miami Beach location: Great choice when in Brickell. Probably one of the better choices for this type of food. We started with the Bao Buns! Delicious, especially the Pork Belly, that one was mouthwatering! I highly recommend trying it. The Heat roll was decent, but the crispy salmon was the bomb! So good! What surprised me the most was the dessert -- bread pudding! Man, that was exceptional and unique! A must-try as well. All in all, a must when in Miami!

This is a great place! Been there twice in July. Had to try different things, all really good. Service is great, they gave us good recommendations. No trouble getting a table. We will be back!

My friends and I came here for a post college reunion. We had sake shots and also ordered a variety of rolls. Because this was many months ago, I don’t remember the names of the rolls we ordered, but they were all delicious and made well. We didn’t wait too long for our food, and I also ordered the pork belly and that was good too. It’s pricey, so I’d probably try another sushi place before I returned, but the quality is there!

Pubbelly Sushi rocks! Wendy went way out of her way to help us out. She was super prompt in returning my emails and was so accommodating. Seriously above and beyond!

Best food ever the food comes fast and it is very fresh and all I could say would have been wow. the best waiter ever...Andres

I’m glad we went for happy hour when some of the appetizers and drinks are deeply discounted. Regular prices are way too expensive for what you get. I went with my foodie friend who hated it. It’s not really a sushi place but rather a tapas bar which offers certain makis (not your traditional makis either). We had the butter crab roll. It was good, but not great, unless you absolutely love butter. I would not call it sushi at all though. The salmon sashimi was good and so was the crispy salmon roll . I’d recommend checking what type of music they are playing on the day you go. We went on a Tuesday and it was Latin music day. On other days they might play reggae, or rock etc. Service was deficient. The restaurant was not busy when we went but our waitress was more interested in chatting with her coworkers than helping us. She forgot the drinks, misunderstood our order... and finally, I found quite tacky that she marked the higher “suggested” tip. She didn’t even deserve the minimum 18%! Oh, did I mention they charged a $1 for tap water? We won’t be coming back.

Nice atmosphere, good service. Sushi offerings are limited, but good quality. Drinks are good as well.

besides the fact the butter krab roll is delicious and you can't find that anywhere else BUT at pubbelly - the service is consistent and a1. each time we go we are greeted with a smile by the hostess - jose the server is attentive and has a great attitude. the food is consistent and satisfying. the buffalo chicken bao buns and tuna tartare are other favorites of mine. JC and Bryant the managers are friendly and hospitable. the bar is also great to relax and enjoy a drink at!

The food is good, the service is good, the price is a little more than average. It’s good to have a reservation.

Tapas style sushi restaurant with a medley of options - some of which are not Japanese. Most dishes were tasty except the lamb chops which we didn’t eat as we asked for medium and it arrived rare. The hostess at front wasn’t super helpful but our waiter was attentive. We spent $120 as a couple and were still slightly hungry after leaving but we enjoyed what we did have.

Terrible service! We ordered the Heat Roll+I am Salmon Roll+Kimchee Fried Rice. My wife got her food and I didn’t. We wait for 10 minutes. Since my food didn’t not arrived, I asked my wife to start eating. I called the server to get my food. No apologies. Finally someone brought my dish. It was tasty. The sushi my wife order was not fresh. We voiced our concerns but server totally ignored our comments. This was the second time at this restaurant. The server who attended us does not value the fact he got a job this days.

Their menu has interesting fusion flavors. Everything we ordered was delicious and they can make traditional rolls as well, our server, Jenny, and all the staff were nice and fast. Definitely worth a stop while in the Miami area.

Great place when you don't know where to go. Big Eye tuna is delicious, so is the truffle tuna pizza. I have tried all of the rolls and found them to be great. Fair price for the food you get. Servers are usually in a great mood. The sake is a bit overpriced. Happy hour is the best time to go and it is usually full for lunch or dinner. Would def. go back .

Came here for lunch with a friend. Food was good but nothing special. There are better sushi in Miami.

Great spot for any occasion. Swan was my sever. He was overqualified and very professional. The food quality was great and also the happy hour menus is excellent. I will definitely recommend this spot to everyone.

I couldn't get enough of the salmon taquitos, the shishito peppers, the crunchy salmon roll, and the roasted corn. I'll be back for more, for sure!

We had intended in eating next door but the kitchen was down. We walked into Pubbelly and were seated immediately with a smile. We ordered the Rock shrimp tempura roll, the DJ roll, and the Miami Heat roll. I can’t pick a favorite because they were all amazing. Definitely eat here. Jenny was amazing and treated us great!!!

The food was delicious, we ordered the edamame, rock shrimp tempura roll, heat roll and DJ roll and they all came out so quickly and fresh! Our server, Jenny, took the time to explain the menu and style of food and was so friendly and attentive! We can’t wait to come back!

Amazing food, great ambience! Went there for the first time and loved everything I tried, the server Daniel did an amazing job with his recommendations, the tuna pizza was out of this world, the butter Krab roll is definitely a must, dumplings with short rib truffle and cheese on top of a sweet corn sauce is something I can’t describe, but the winner of all was the big eye tuna with crispy rice and truffle. They also offer a great variety of delicious cocktails, if you like spicy and yet refreshing drinks ask for La Chula, and their pubbelly mojito also very refreshing and bubbly. Definitely will come back to try the other things I couldn’t.

Great food and atmosphere, service was excellent, Shane was our waiter !! Sushi was great!! Will definitely go back.

Nice place . Comfortable. Easy going good for mall Weak service but worth to try Best place is the bar

The Pubbelly Group continues to (successfully) expand its' empire of popular Miami dinning establishments, with Pubbelly Sushi now open (and flourishing) in the new, stylish Brickell City Center. Brickell City Center is only partially occupied, yet downtown crowds are obviously finding their way to Pubbelly Sushi. This area of Brickell (S. Miami Avenue area btwn SW 7th & SW 8th Streets) is crowded, and densely built. Brickell area street lots charge parking fees in the range of $7-20 and Parkmobile street spots can be difficult to find. For now, Brickell City Center offers 2 hours of free parking in a VERY, VERY small, tight underground garage accessed from SW 8th Street (one-way heading East). As to the restaurant, it's energetically noisy (flat screen TV w/ NBA playoffs, loud bar area, and overhead loud blaring music that prevents any type of normal dinner conversation). The service is friendly & good -- food is served "small plates; sharing style", and plates are all served piping hot as they are prepared by the kitchen. Food servers, and table clearers all work efficiently. Now, as the the food -- All the food items that we tried were good, but none were (in any way) great. We tried the following items: house margarita - a "good" drink served neat ... would have been better on-the-rocks Weinhenstepher Bavarian beer - tasted "unfiltered" to me ... I didn't like the taste, and would not order this beer again (I'd recommend a reliable 12 oz. Kirin) RockShrimp tempura ("traditional") - served hit & crisp w/ spicy mayo -- panko-style crunch not my favorite (again "good" appetizer, but not "great") Butter crab roll - immitation-tasting crab rolled in a soft flour tortilla, & served w/ an Asian butter dipping sauce -- "okay" (but I wouldn't order again) Seaweed salad - tasty Japanese seaweed Japanese eggplant - eggplant slightly undercooked (it was not crunchy, but it was not delectably soft) w/ heavy-handed red miso saucing Miso Black Cod - again "good" but certainly not great (I've had MUCH better versions) Bigeye Tuna(tartare) served on hot cripsy rice cakes - good but not great (I've had much better tuna tartare, and better rice cakes elsewhere) The menu presented at Pubbelly Sushi is much superior to, and much more ambitious than a place serving "California rolls, chicken teriyaki & the like". I'd rate all of the food items that we tried as "good" but I would not rate a single thing that we tried as "great". I've had better (and often far better) versions elsewhere of every single food item that we tried. Chef Jose Mendin lists Nobu Miami (and London) in his resume. Pubbelly Sushi is "good" in the mid-range niche that it occupies (but is nowhere near the same dinning category of the Nobu's, Hakkansan's, nor KYU nor other finer Asian-themed restaurants in the Miami-area). Pubbelly Shushi -- enjoy it for what it is (and take advantage of the 2 hours of free parking at Brickell City Center ... while it lasts).

So start off with the tuna pizza and the sticky crab rolls. The butter crab rolls are incredible, just ask them to cut in 4 pieces instead of 2. Can’t go wrong with PB Sushi

It was a really good experience overall, the food is great, the ambiance very nice, the price is ok. The only black spot: the bartenders are rude, they haven´t served the drink and are already charging.

The staff is friendly and the sushi ok. The rest of the menu (robata, various cooked dishes) is equally competent if somewhat uninspired. The mall setting doesn't do it for us but the place was packed and turned away more people than it sat. It does a fine job we with a smile, but there are more exciting places in Miami...

Nice ambiance at the Brickell City Centre but a bit noisy at prime time (8:00 PM). Service was prompt and courteous.. I got the impression that the Chef / Ownership is unsure of what type of restaurant they want to be (LATIN-JAPANESE FUSION???) as the menu has some good choices but the sushi was limited and quite mediocre. Menu was all over the map with catchy names and entries. "Steak Anticucho"; "Tostones con Ceviche" "Taquitos" (With a Mexican restaurant next door? Try the Shishito Peppers and the Lamb Chops - reasonably priced at $7 each compared with a gouging $17 for 4 tostones and a bit of ceviche. The Butter Krab Roll was disgusting,The pork belly was way to fatty (little meat). Charging a Dollar for extra Sauce is cheap. If you are a real sushi lover, go elsewhere for suchi

Pubbelly Sushi at Brickell City Centre in Miami is a excellent place to go for all things sushi. I like how everything is delicious, well prepare, and fresh. The atmosphere here is very relaxed and lively. The staff here works hard to make sure that you are well taken care of and that you have everything you need to have a good meal. They are well worth a visit for good sushi.

Nace but mis sign something May e is new Will give it año there chance soon Sincera in new on the block

The service is unbelievable in this place, you haven’t finished ordering and the food is already on the table ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️. The food is delicious, you could eat anything and love it. My favorite thing on the menu is the Korean Brabas 🥔🔥❤️❤️❤️ ***Covid safety ***** Outside everything is well separated. And inside they have the tables separated with divisions so you are gonna be fine. Order; Koran Brabas: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🤩🤩🤩 I'm I love with this dish!!!!!! I order patatas bravas anywhere I go if it is on the menus 🤪. They were delicious!!!!!! I loved the Korean spice twist. Dates avec chorizo ⭐️we didn’t like it, but it was a personal taste decision, it was nice and well done, interesting flavor Dumplings: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️love love love. Very nice, small but nice Wagyu beef tartar: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️it was good, nothing to dye for but was very good. Tostones con ceviche: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️one of the favorite things I ordered today, again, a matter of taste because my husband was not too thrilled about it 😂😂. Rockshrimp tempura: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I always order this when I come here. I love this shrimp. But nothing extraordinary, it is what you expect when you order rockshrimp tempura sushi, a safe and good choice ☺️.

Two stars for the service Four stars for the food but, when the service is that bad, it affects the whole experience. So I'm gonna stick to giving 2 stars. I live in Brickell and I was happy to try this new place. The menu seems very good. They also offer a good variety of beers. I was excited to try one of these options but - surprise - our server (Brian M.) told me they had run out of all of them, except 1 dark beer. What kind of manager is not able to handle the alcohol reserves? I have a good experience with food business and you can't run out of so many beers. Brian M. saw me disappointed but it didn't change anything so I understand that, unfortunately, I have only 1 option: the dark beer (Echigo Stout). I accepted to try the Echigo Stout and honestly, it was a good pick. The food was good. I noticed other tables with a Corona beer, so I asked Brian M. to explain why. His reaction should win the golden globe for "I don't give a damn about that". No "sorry" or "I truly apologize, I completely forgot it". Just a "I thought it was warm, I didn't know." Dear Brian, your sense of respect for the restaurant where you work is so small. I decided to tip 10% as Brian's colleagues did their job and I thought it wasn't fair to give zero, but - as an investor - I would be very pissed to know that one of my businesses is handled in such a way by my employees.... How to lose clients in a silly way.

Pubbelly opens its second restaurant in Miami, inside the Brickell City Center . The food is invariably good, the mixture of flavors and ingredients make this restaurant a special Japanese, we suggest ordering Yellowtail Roll and scallop sushi. The cinema is right next to Pubbelly, so a Japanese meal is not bad after a good action movie.

Good for a quick lunch (not sure I would eat out at night here unless I was going to the movies). Service friendly and food good.

This is a "fusion" restaurant where the chef blends different cuisines... in this case, blending French and Japanese. They serve a "French Onion Miso Soup" that was really good... this is not a combination I would have ever thought about, but I ordered it and it was really good. Im not a pro chef, but from what I could tell, it was regular miso soup, but instead of tofu cubes, it was small cubes of French bread like you might have in traditional French Onion soup... then they added some long thin slices of the white onions and thin strands of the cheese used in traditional French onion soup. It was delicious. For the less adventurous, they also have traditional miso soup. I also ordered their special salmon roll, which was great. We also got a filet Mignon cooked medium rare... its served sliced on a bed of rice so you can eat with chopsticks... also excellent. This restaurant is in a partially opened mall, so we were eating "outside" but it was still covered, though a breeze can still pas through, making it enjoyable to sit out side and eat. Server was great and they had helpers to keep filling your drinks and clearing away empty plates... price was reasonable too I thought, for what it was... all that earns this place my coveted and rarely-issued FIVE circles.

Want to give a special recognition to the Executive Chef who after 9 years under Chef Nobu Matsuhisa Chef Jorge Mijangos brought his amazing culinary talents to Miami. The presentation is perfect along with every bite you take. I find we never give credit to where it is due. The reality is if you don’t have a Top Chef you don’t have a Top restaurant! Next go with the grilled octopus, and you must have the bigeye tuna it's minced tuna over a lightly battered fried rice! OMG! The butter Crab is fabulous even though it was not bite size! My advise is cancel your current reservation and make one here tonight! Service was excellent and nice to see the manager walk around and check on each table!

Delicious food, and nice ambience. The dishes are small, so is perfect to enjoy a good number of them; we had like 12 dishes and like most of them since they show nice combinations of flavors and textures. Setting was spacious and service was fast and friendly, but I think that they can use a better training in how the dishes are delivered and presented to the table; not the food runners or the server had the time to explain them. Cocktails are also good.

So Max the manager welcomed me to this amazing restaurant at the Brickle city center. I must say the customer service was key I was very impressed by Alexis she was fast sweet out going and I will be coming back by the way. I had a dragon roll it wasn’t on the menu but they made it happen also there was this amazing corn if you don’t try it your missing out so with that being said I hope you enjoy the photos I post!

This shouldn’t be called sushi. The two rolls we got weren’t good. We also ordered the buttered mushrooms. They shouldn’t be called that either. We couldn’t even eat them. They smelled like vinegar. The waitress didn’t care to ask why we didn’t eat half of our food. My friend had to get ice cream afterwards to get the gross taste out of her mouth. I was so grossed out that I didn’t eat for a day after eating here.

This place has a good bar scene and is a great hang out in Brickell City Centre. Sushi and food are good but the best things this place offers is the ambiance.

Scrumptious sushi and small plates!! Try the ceviche!! However the pork belly will leave you salivating!!! Must go back and try additional small plates!!

Everything we had was delicious - Pork Belly, Tuna Tartare... AMAZING The decor could do with a little touch up.

We shared a few dishes and had soft drinks. Its was 230bucks incl a tip The food was fine but the experience wasnt to the expense

Excellent eatery, offering a wide selection of Sushi, Japanese and latin fusion favorites. Conveniently located in Brickell City Centre mall.. Excellent food and service, however a bit overpriced

A good experience overall starts with the hostess. The tall blonde hostess had a bit of an attitude although she accommodated us. The restaurant does not have high chairs, only two for the entire restaurant. We were lucky to get one, but not without some negotiating. The meal. It took a few minutes to get a waiter to approach us. We ordered several items- tuna tartare- excellent, butter crab roll- excellent, heat roll- good, octopus- very good. All were so tiny I needed a magnifying glass to see them. We left after eating and still hungry. Going to eat somewhere else. Thanks for the appetizers!!

I am in love with this place and find myself craving it every day. Especially the Butter Krab Roll and the Tuna Pizza!! The food is UNREAL. Our favorite server, Shane, always takes care of us. He is extremely hospitable and makes us feel right at home. We make sure to request him whenever we go. GO TO PUBBELLY, YOU WILL THANK ME LATER!

Questionable waitress, saved by the high quality food. Although the outside seating isn't as appealing as Tacology next door, the food is delicious! We had previously ordered out from Pubbelly but were excited to try it in person. We went for happy hour (4-7pm) on July 3rd. We sampled a little bit of everything starting with the BBQ edamame. The tuna pizza with truffle aioli was amazing! We also had big eye tuna, yellow tail, hamachi and salmon rolls. The tuna was by far my favorite! We also had 4 different drinks. My first drink was my favorite. Los Andes had a refreshing mix of gin and cucumber -it's always a winning cocktail combination. The only negative was the service. The bus boy was very attentive constantly cleaning the table, refilling our waters and clearing plates. However, our waitress (a tall European) was so cold and hard to get a hold of. She also dropped off our check and came back less than 2 minutes after (as my husband was signing the receipt) and literally grabbed the pen out of my husbands hand. She said "I need the pen" as she sped off. What?! That's insane, if you need another pen go get one from the hostess - Don't ever snatch it from a customer. The delicious food and refreshing drinks saved Pubbelly. Hoping you retrain and refine your waitresses.

While walking around Brickell City Centre I stumbled upon Pubbelly Sushi. It is a restaurant that offers a very trendy atmosphere, a great place to spend a Friday or Saturday Evening. The menu is composed of many "tapas" style dishes, each of the dishes is Japanese inspired with a twist. During our visit we ordered 4 different dishes, and all of them were crafted to perfection. The ingredients in each of the plates is there to add to the flavor profile and provide a unique experience on every bite. For two people, if you are not very hungry 3 dishes can be enough ~$25 per person, but if you are looking to be fully satisfied you might want to order 2 dishes per person ~$32. The biggest letdown of the experience was the service. We encountered issues since the moment we sat down (no placeholder, no silverware), until the moment we left (we had to try multiple times to get our bill). All in all, if you are looking for a trendy place with a unique Japanese inspired food experience Pubbelly Sushi is a good alternative, just be aware of the service and price. (The restaurant also offers delivery through UberEats)

Decent sushi, good choice, staff a little confused with whether they had a children's menu or not (they did and the waiter knew this, but the front of house didn't). Will definitely go back

My time at pubbelly sushi is always an unforgettable one, from great food, drinks and amazing service. My waiter Shane is very knowledgeable about the menu and his suggestions are always delisious. I definitely recommend checking out Pubbelly if you are ever in Miami. Ask for Shane as your waiter you wont be disppointed by the wonderfull service you will receive from him.

Miami is a place of culture and people and food. You cannot go wrong on that. And, at times, you find a special place that is just off the main road but near everything else you can find. Staying a few blocks away I had to find a place to eat and walked outside. A few blocks away I walked into Pubbelly Sushi. It was totally different. A combination of Japanese and South American cuisine is an interesting combination. Of course, with the Che who has been recognized by the James Beard Foundation, it is no wonder. He truly can create what we do eat. It is an experience. And, having lived in Japan, it is always different to see what others take from it. This was special. Come before 7pm and there is a Happy Hour which is nice for cocktails, but even better for food combinations you can have in replace f a full meal. You can try a bit for everything to see what is new and different and a perfect compliment. There would be a piece of Tuna Sushi but it is topped on a friend piece of Japanese rice. It sounds different but the taste is special. This alone would have been a great meal. So we tried that. We also had a bun which is typical in Japan, but in this case it was filled with a slice of Pork Belly that was grilled just fine and placed inside with sauce and spice. The bun itself was nice, but filled it was better. Again, this could have been a meal. Naturally had to have to skewers with chicken and pork. A nice compliment. Also had to have a bowl of what we consider Poke Bowl. This time it was fried rice with spice and mixed with vegetables, pork belly and even peas. There was even a fried egg on top. Very typical in Japan. That was a true different flavorful. Overall the meal is exciting to have. The staff is great. The bartender does know how to make a good cocktail. As for the Chef and the team, our compliments. It was a great place to stop and experience. It was a unique combination of two cultures that created something we all can accept. Domo / Gracias.

The GREaT: Shane our server was amazing. So nice and attentive. The ambiance inside is great. However, on our staycation at Brickell City Center, we were craving great sushi had heard such good reviews of Pubbelly- it was underwhelming. Now while I was looking up the restaurant to review- I see that Pubbelly is also at the Marina in casa de campo. We weren’t crazy about it either. So meh. I’ll go if that’s where friends are going but that’s about it.

The food and service was good. Nothing out of ordinary. The restaurant is on the third floor just next to the movie theater.

Went there with my family. The food was very good, creative, tasty, and with good presentation. The service wasn’t that good. We waited some time for the waiter to show up, and didn’t gave us even a good night welcome. Wasn’t any friendly. I have visited this restaurant several times before and didn’t had this experience. Hopefully next time the service is better.

The food is amazing, particularly the crab roll which is DRENCHED in butter. Also tried several rolls & the soft shell crab bao bun...they were also very good. Be aware, prices are steep (for the amount of food you're getting) but then again, you're in Brickell! While I would definitely go back for the food, they seemed to be in a hurry to turn tables on the Thursday night in early December when my husband, son, and I visited. Which was a shame; the decor or even eating on the patio would make you want to enjoy a leisurely meal. Instead the service was pretty rushed with attendants (yes, more than one) swooping down to clean up whatever course had been served, almost while you're still chewing. Seems to cater to a younger crowd, maybe who have other places to go at night...overall, enjoyed it, just wish service could've been more chill.

The food was great and so was the service. Food came out super quick, and the staff was so nice and helpful. Shane was my server and he was really great! Would definitely recommend stopping in!

A very refreshing visit with initial disappointment over not recognising any of my favourite nigiri such as Tomago. Went ahead and order some pieces and that I never regretted. All nigiri pieces I had never tried before. One of the two wafting pieces was not tender enough but the taste sensation was formidable. Quite expensive but worth every cent.

This spot has a lot of delicious eats! I would recommend it if you are ordering out. DO NOT utilize them for catering!! The catering manager forgot about my order and did not do much about it.

We are all foodies and we are visiting Miami from New York. Can’t speak highly enough about this place — everything was delicious and the service was impeccable yet informal and comfortable. Creative presentation. Loved the sushi pizza, the pork buns and the pear cobbler. Everything was perfect. At the top of a beautiful mall in downtown Miami family friendly

Went recently. Place was bustling so good ambiance. Service was very good. However the place was -in my opinion- pricey for the food received. We ordered shishito peppers that were ok. Rock shrimp - average. Sushi rolls and edamame were lacking taste (the tuna mainly was unseasoned to my best appreciation), even with the soy on them. I’ve been to the one in Mexico and the same dishes had a much “tastier” taste (sorry for the redundancy). Would give them the benefit of the doubt again.

I was looking forward to have dinner at his fancy looking place. But unfortunately the experience was a disappointment. The waitresses did not pay attention to my order and seemed more busy with themselves looking important than with their client. The food was poor in terms of taste and appearance. My sushi roll arrived in less than 2 minutes after ordering it, which means it was pre-prepared, which might explain the lame taste. The Korean potatoes were also not too inspiring - more like a meal from a fast food place. Therefore, too expensive for what you get.

This place was definitely a 10/10 and would highly recommend. Everything from the host in the front to our amazing server Jose was TOP NOTCH! He was very attentive, informative, and honest! If you come here to the brickwelll location ask for Jose! Best of the best!

The Sushi & Sashimi is good here but...sitting at the bar the bar people could not see if you had been served food and the service (from them & the sushi chef) was slow. So good but also not inexpensive!

I was a first timer to pub belly, I absolutely loved it! They made me feel like home. My waitress Cindy, was beyond knowledgeable about the whole menu from the cocktail drinks to every single item on the menu. Every single thing she recommended was extremely exquisite! The tuna pizza and the wagyu beef tártare were my top favorites! Cindy was very attentive, helpful, and friendly. I will definitely come back and request Cindy again!

This place has some good potential, but needs to polish around the edges. Let's start with the positives. The food is solid particularly the black cod, the edamame and some of the rolls. It also has a good location on the fourth floor of the new Brickell City Center. Prices are okay given the location as well. That being said, the experience here is hit or miss. They have some decent servers but the bartenders are beyond poor even for Miami. I have had friends walk out because they sat down at bar with three bartenders on duty and 6-8 people at the bar, and it took ten minutes to get a bartender's attention to order a drink. I have had some similar experiences when sitting at the bar, it has been better when sitting at a table. If restaurant addresses this as well as a limited drink selection/knowledge (AKA, don't order a Manhattan here) at the bar, improves the lighting which is dim and maybe replaces some of the sushi rolls (about half of which are fried and not exactly the 'healthy' experience one wants when going for Japanese place), this could be the best sushi place in Brickell, albeit that is damning with faint praise right now. Until then it is a decent place to share the black cod, have some edamame and get a glass of wine before going to a movie next door

Pubbelly Sushi in Brickell City Center is an excellent choice for lunch or dinner. We went for lunch and it was great with a wide selection of menu items. Special thanks to our server Aline who made really good suggestions based on the preferences we outlined to him. He was attentive and made the experience very pleasant. Nice atmosphere with lively background music. You'll have an option of being seated inside or outside and we chose inside for the air conditioning. The restaurant also caters to children.

We visited on a Sunday evening, the place was at about 60% capacity. The menu is not easy to understand but the dishes, an eclectic mix, sounded very attractive. We ordered some appetizers, the pork belly, Mexican street corn and edamame which were quite acceptable. Then each one of us ordered rolls and a few other dishes which did not arrive a at once, like they should have. Actually, I think the waiter who took our order forgot my dish.We also ordered 2 glasses of wine but only one arrived. In conclusion, the food was good but the service was not. I don't think I'll be going back.

Excellent service from Hostess to Busboy, Waiter and Manager. Excellent dinner. The Salmon Taquitos are delicious.

Worthy. Nice place with great music and theyll give u the best suggestions for lunch or dinner. Accept them. Good prices for good food.

we went and tried an array of dishes included - butter crap, duck, lobster donuts. all were excellent the chicken yakatori looked a bit undercooked - the manager jumped on it. replaced and was professional and courtesous

Had great meals. Ate in the restaurant and another time at the bar. Both offered nice customer service. Like most places in the Brickell Center, it's overpriced in comparison to similar restaurants, but the options were interesting and didn't disappoint.

Bad service , no soy sauce bowl Need to improve the service ! Big restaurant with no soy spice bow??? Ridiculous … Few people to serve, pay a lot e no receive the service …!!!

a good surprise in a shopping mall. a sushi with the twist. busy place in the mall. good selection of sushi dishes with a different view. my favorite is the wasabi tartare roll, to deep in a raw egg. superb. sapporo beer was a great matching for our dinner. staff nice and polite

The food is amazing! I have gone a few times for happy hour and sat at the bar, the butter crab roll, the heat roll and the octopus ceviche roll are amazing! The staff though seems to be always stressed, you have to ask a few times for things even when the place is not crazy busy.

Had the Sushi 🍣, Sashimi and oysters there. It was fantastic. Cozy and relaxing atmosphere with great service. Servers served you with bright smiles which is always nice. Prices are good but most importantly for me is the wine. Looking forward to returning again. Sushi was so good, it didn’t stand a chance of being photographed. Enjoyed every bit before heading to CMX next door to see black panther.

Had a delicious meal that we all ate family style. There were 7 of us and everyone enjoyed the meal. Only complaint was that they were so attentive that sometimes they tried to remove plates or drinks before we were done with them. Also, would have liked them to have staggered the dishes rather than setting everything on the table at once.

I would be willing to give it another chance but it’s not what I expected and not really a sushi place. It’s a restaurant that serves some sushi items in creative forms. Did not like the big eye tuna, the yellowtail was just ok and the sashimi was average and you could find better at virtually all sushi restaurants. They do have some other items and I would try those instead of the sushi items next time.

The food was incredible. Sushi with a flare. Also My waiter Shane was the most efficient and sweet person. He made my experience fantastic. Will always go when I’m in Bricklell

Loved the food! The yellowtail roll is amazing! Tried numerous appetizers and also they were all excellent. Andres our waiter was very attentive and the hostess was accommodating. Pleasantly surprised and will definitely go back!

I very like that restaurant. The service is always very good and people are very nice. The food is delicious, please please please have the Tostones Con Ceviche and also the mushrooms....so good. All the of their cocktails are interesting. The quality of the food is good and the ambiance is great. We will go back !!!

Not much to say about this place other that a very low quality food and even when I asked if the rock shrimp tempura were precooked the server confirmed it

Went to the city centre initially not wanting to eat sushi but due to the wait of other surrounding restaurants gave PubellySushi a try . Being from another county this was a new concept sushi with a few additional foods on the menu .. we were impressed the quality was good flavours balanced and portions good .. the biggest surprise was the truffle corn was out of this world not very Japanese however worth it considering they competing with many other Latin restaurants in the area .. so thumbs up .. nice funky decor to suit . Not cheap but worth a visit

The first time we went there we had a great experience in terms of service and quality food, The second and third time it was complete the opposite. Poor service and the same dishes did not taste the same at all, very disappointing. If they can achieve the desire consistency in service and quality I would recommend it, but not now

Full of flavor spicy sushi I had. Select the spicy ones, the fish is definitely fresh and delicious, I had two dishes the Nigiri with salmon and the Heat spicy tuna

Food has remained consistently good. Service and professionalism have declined. Rude hostess and server not pleasant or attentive

I loved everything that I ate. Good quality sushi, creative menu. Bit expensive. I love also the location, especially if you're with children, because they can play nearby if you sit outside

Very nice restaurant, well located. I ordered the tuna pizza and I loved it! Iveth helped me, super good service, recommended!

We sat at the bar and decided to try a bit of everything. We started with the ceviche tostones and I was surprised at how good they were. Perfectly cooked tostones topped with a flavorful ceviche that left us wanting more. Next we had a butter krab roll that was also very good and a great size to share. The shrimp tempura roll was a little dry on this visit and although good not great. We also had the Tuna pizza and were not disappointed. The place has a great ambiance and nicely decorated. We sat at the bar and service was slow at first but it was busy and to be honest our bartender Ashely was doing an awesome job of keeping up without much help. Wine here is on the pricey side with ~4oz pours for $10. Overall we were pleased and would recommend...

Unimpressive food, bad service, and overpriced menu. I honestly can believe this place has more than two stars. Very disappointing!

It was Saturday night and we were at Brickell City Center when I spotted this Sushi place. My boyfriend and I decided it would be perfect to enjoy some good sushi sitting at the sushi bar and watching the makings. Boy were we wrong! First, I asked if they had a sushi bar and they directed me to a little corner all the way in the back with four seats in front of a glass fridge with fish while three other staff members were behind the counter just acting busy but not attending to us. Well, turned out they weren't sushi chefs and if they were I never saw them cut, roll or prepare. Our orders were taken by a waiter who was serving the tables. One look at the menu and I knew their specialty was not sushi but a combination of Caribbean/Latino with a sushi mix! Not authentic at all - when it came to sushi!! Maybe two rolls on the menu that even sounded authentic and the rest was all made up! How about some Tostones with sushi preparation on top? How about some raw tuna, grind up and slapped on a deep fried Yuka stick? Total disappointment! Only grace saving was the Edamames (hot & salty - not much to destroy there) and that they actually were able to make me a vodka cumber martini - that tasted like cucumbers (thank you bartender). Prices were okay. Once is enough for me at this place far cry from a true Sushi place - delete the Sushi and just stick to your Pubbelly name!

Sushi with panache! Wander up the escalator for a taste treat for the senses. The restaurant is more like a work of art in its own style. Sit at a table outside in the atrium of Brickle City Center or inside the restaurant where the ambiance is creatively modern with Japanese design principles. It was difficult to choose from the menu options as everything sounded tasty. Watching the food delivery to other tables only whet my appetite more. Yes, this is definitely fun dining experience! Don't forget dessert!!!!

We went to the store in Doral, Nice place witha buch of Resturants, music and fun themes. We ordered Butter Krab roll and crispy Salmon Roll. Address to this place is 9420 NW 41st street, Doral,FL 33178.

A brilliant little sushi bar in the Brickell Center. Wonderful oysters and great sushi in a Mall which contains most of what you will ever need. Recommended!

If you are looking for a Latin/Asian fusion dining experience PUBBELLY SUSHI on Brickell is the place you need to visit. I tried their Sake Aburri Roll,Short Rib Dumplings and pork belly fried rice absolutely amazing I’m definitely coming back to pubbelly

Shane , our waiter faves us an excellent service!!! The food was outstanding , please ask for the rib gyozas, Crispy Quinoa and tuna tartar .

This is probably my best and unique sushi restaurant ever been. Awesome sauce !!!! Came during happy hour 4-7pm. Ordered their popular dishes such as bigeye tuna (least favorite cos they overfried the rice), pork belly (most and highly recommend) it melts in your mouth. OMG. Steak stick. And lastly wagyu beef tartare were fantastic. I would return here when I visit Miami again. Loving it ! Thumbs up

We sat outside as it's less noisy than inside. Very nice waiter who was helpful in guiding us for different things to eat. We ate Chinese buffalo bao rolls (good) with blue cheese (sounds strange but they were very nice), something strange that was called pizza and bore no resemblence to any pizza ever served, no crust, no cheese, no sauce, but was very good all the same, and sushi and sashimi. Then we finished off with an exotic dessert, bread pudding (it was like a kind of not very good brownie) topped with blue icecream that had no particular flavour but was interesting to look at. We were told that the food all came from different kitchens so that the waiter couldn't guarantee what would come out first or how long it would take, which was honest of him. As it happened everything came out very fast, within five minutes and with just a minute or two between each of the dishes we ordered.
Delicious & great atmosphere
Loved the atmosphere and the food! Great dinner before or after the movie next door! I don’t know what the reviewers writing weird or ok ordered, but our group ordered several dishes to share and loved everything! The lobster rolls, tuna tacos & dessert were the best! You have to expect something unique in a beautiful mall in Miami, & this didn’t disappoint. Will be back!
