We visited Qin Dynasty at the recommendation of family. The restaurant itself is pretty. However the food quality was average at best. More unfortunate was the service. We ordered and ate within about 35 minutes. It was time for the check and we waited for... 35 minutes. Half of the time spent at the restaurant was time spent waiting for our check. I have a feeling the service is inconsistent as different times on the meal were serviced at different paces. I would recommend trying another top ranked Chinese restaurant prior to giving Qin Dynasty a try.

Service was superb -- Henry is a great waiter, keeping on top of every detail with finesse and aplomb, making guests feel special with self-deprecating good humor. The salmon was cooked perfectly, accompanied by delicious green tea. My meal at Qin Dynasty reminded me of one I enjoyed in Singapore last year at a Michelin-starred restaurant. Memorable, and looking forward to a repeat visit in the not-too-distant future.

I was a customer for ver twenty years. Yes I am picky about what I eat and where but if anyone experienced what I did and still decided to eat at this place well then they are jsut flat out pigs and discuting human beings. I walked in to order and upon arrival I was suspicious. I saw dirty walls , soiled table napkins on the floor under tables, a very weird contraption of a hand-held blower on the floor next to the hostess desk. I then went to the mens wash-room and at that point I called it quits. It was dirty, leaking water around the toilets , missing tiles from the walls and basically it was discuting. I ran out and never looked back. Do not eat here you will get sick111111

Every time I think good I ate here for lunch it makes me want to barf taste like canned sauces and not fresh food I don't know what region they are cooking from but they definitely got it wrong what I ever come back here again no but one thing is for sure the people are nice

Lovely decor the wait staff was very helpful making a selection. surprised to find they had pecan pie and it was quite good.

The server was not the nicest. Food came out looking great. Needs more taste. Prices are good. I will try it again.

Coleen is a manager there and she always recognizes me. The food is excellent and I love this place!

We've lived close to Qin for 5 or 6 years now and with eating lots of Asian food at lots of Asian restraurants... This is probably the best Chinese food in Houston. Kams on Montrose is a close second. The quality of the food is always consistently delicious... This place is great for to go orders.... It's also the most expensive.... But not over the top.... You really get what you pay for here. My only suggestion and the reason I couldn't give more stars is over the years I've seen the service slowly decline. Once a family, polite atmosphere is turning into more of a business machine. It's not that they don't do an awesome job, the last few times the service wAs lacking a bit, but I would continue to recommend Qins.... Maybe it was just our waiter.

My first visit to this local restaurant but it won't be my last. Food was very good, service was friendly and quick and it was an all-around enjoyable lunch. I had the garlic chicken which was just the right spiciness for me and even had enough left over for lunch the next day.

This is one of my favorite places to eat Sushi and Asian cuisine. The house wonton soup and the fresh sushi rolls are always fresh and delicious. The staff is always friendly and attentive when dining in the restaurant. I highly recommend this restaurant while in Houston.

Lunch is always very busy but tables turn over quickly so wait is usually never more than 5-10mins. Lunch specials menu prices range from $7-$12 with most of the averages in the $8 range or so. As such, you can't beat the value when main meal comes with soup and a spring roll. Decor is really open, airy and nice and clean. Wait staff are excellent, fast and attentive. Food is good but I'd say average as compared to other chinese food places. I'd chalk it up to a solid alternative for lunch with little expected disappointment. I would go back.

Very good service. A tad pricey, but you can't beat simple tasty chinese food.

We eat at the restaurant and order for delivery. Their prices are great, and it’s an abundance of food. The restaurant is beautiful inside and out. Highly recommend!

Four of us went out for a quick dinner. The restaurant was not busy so we were seated immediately. It took quite a bit of time for a waiter to take our requests. We specifically ordered 2 appetizers to start along with 2 entrees. They all came out together. The food was excellent, as usual. All 4 of us ordered brown rice but 2 of us got white rice. 2 of us did not have forks with the place settings. The timing of the dishes was completely off kilter, as was the service, which was not the norm.

We have never had better service than recently at Qin. We wanted to be closer to the piano, so they moved us immediately and without complaint. Franklin, our server was supremely attentive, and not at all intrusive. Soup came out instantly. Why should soup or a dinner salad ever take more than a minute? At Qin, it doesn't. Sharing? Handled immediately and deftly. Our appetizers, which were our main course, were delivered swiftly, with hot food quite hot and cold food served at an ideal temperature. We hate being abandoned at the end of a meal. Franklin didn't disappear - the bill was ready when were. Looking around, we were surrounded by really good Chinese art, installed in an upscale, tastefully decorated setting. A baby grand piano piloted by a serious-but-friendly pianist served to remind us that we were in an unusually pleasant setting, particularly pleasant for a Chinese restaurant.

I can eat Chinese food for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Qin Dynasty is one of my favs in Houston that I visit often. Great atmosphere, great food, attentive service.

The menu here was eclectic, ranging from Cantonese standards to sushi. As someone lucky enough to live at the edge of the Pacific Rim in San Francisco, I rarely find good and well-prepared Asian cuisines in places east of the Rim. In this case, while none of the food was spectacular, the prices were very reasonable for freshly prepared, nicely presented food. The decor was dramatic and attractive. Everyone in our party was happy with what they ordered.

Take out combos included entrees, soup, spring roll, and choice of rice. Tasty options, prompt service, competitive pricing.

Love this place, dont have good chinese in my area so when going to Houston, if we get there early enough to find parking place, this is my place for lunch. Sesame chicken, fried rice, lobster rolls or spring rolls w/chocie of soup is more than you can eat but worth the trip!

The restaurant and food were very tasty. The waiter was a caricature of himself very friendly and solicitous. We had a variety of dishes among us. The spicy scheuan was spicy and good. The seat covers at our booth were wet and my wife's trousers were bleached from the material. We washed them when we got home to see if it was not just a stain from curry or something. The spots are actually bleached out. Also, the toilets in the ladies' restroom would not flush. Mixed result: Good food. Poor cleanliness.

My wife and I visited Qin on a date night. It was recommended to us by family who live in the area and who have enjoyed it a number of times. It is a little hidden on the backside of a strip mall so keep a sharp eye and you may just have to circle the parking lot until you see it (on the southeast corner). We visited fairly early on New Year's Eve and they were busy but not overly so. As soon as we entered we were greeted and seated within 5 minutes. Our server was great and very attentive. He and an assistant kept our drinks filled and our table clear. We started with the Green Bean appetizer which was a particular recommendation. We thought it was tasty but not too impressive. My wife ordered the Grilled Ginger Beef and I ordered the Orange Chicken for entrees. We shared both and they were both very good. Both were listed as spicy on the menu but the beef was not particularly so, but we were not disappointed in this. We agreed that the beef was the particular winner of the night but I could recommend either dish. We would absolutely return next time we are in the area. From the service to the food, it was all excellent!

They have a great lunch menu and is great after Church. Service is great and they are kid friendly! Dinner menu is a little pricey but lunch is $8-10/person with soup, entree, egg roll or crab puffs. They also have good take out!

We visited the restaurant for take out, next time we will dine in the food was great I highly recommend the Gen Tso Chicken and the Hot and Sour Soup

Excellent atmosphere, service and food. Very consistent service, always attentive. The quality of the food is as good as any place in the city. Nice servings and good prices. We have utilized the party room a number of times. The detail of the rooms especially with the life size warriors is marvelous. The piano near the entry is a very nice touch.

Has always been one of the finest restaurants for Chinese food that i have ever visited. Went for lunch and had egg drop soup, egg roll, spicy sesame chicken and brown rice. Would go more often if it was closer to my office. Typically go at least once a month for dinner. Highly recommend.

Several years ago one of the local newspapers ran a "The Best Chinese Restaurant in Houston" survey. I picked two after the results were in and I haven't stop going to these two whenever I want Chinese food. Qin is located on Buffalo Speedway, south of US 59. The prettiest Chinese restaurant I have ever been to. I never had anything at this restaurant that wasn't just the way it should be prepared. Try the spicy green beans, sesame chicken, fried dumpling. By the way the other restaurant is northeast of Houston, in Kingwood.

I added the caveat to the title (generally) because although my husband and I had good food and good service, one of our party had a terrible experience. To be fair, there were 26 of us, which is no easy task. We had our own room, which was great. The cousin who arranged for us to go to this restaurant said he goes there all the time and loves it. My husband and I enjoyed our choices: we split a lettuce wrap and Beijing duck pancakes for appetizers. Our waiter suggested something "off the menu" for me, which involved beef and a mushroom sauce, which was quite good. My husband loved his scallop dish. Others at our table had various types of chicken, salmon, beef and fried rice; all (except one) were content. Our waiter was quite a character. His offer to me for an off the menu item turned out well, but he messed up big time on another person at our table. He changed her soup apparently without reason. She wanted salmon but the salmon she wanted had mushrooms in it, which she doesn't like. He said he would order teriyaki salmon for her but would replace the teriyaki sauce with a different one that sounded good to her. When the soup arrived, it was a surprise, especially since it was a bowl instead of a cup. It tasted fine except that there were tons of mushrooms. At least she could scoop those out. Her salmon arrived as regular teriyaki. She told the person who delivered it that it was wrong. They took it back and just scraped off the teriyaki sauce, leaving enough on that we could all see that that's what they had done. She said it was terrible and asked to see the waiter who had set this all in motion. He was apparently gone for the evening. We enjoyed our meal, but beware of trying to do something special!

Context: My wife and I were visiting family in Houston, coming down from Michigan for our spring break; we had lunch at the Dynasty, and did not need to wait long for a table. Pros: The service staff is outstanding and the Dynasty's setting is very lovely. Cons: I ordered the lunch combo of Hot & Sour Soup, and Hunan Shrimp with fried rice; the soup was pretty good, although it could have been more substantive; the shrimp dish had decent flavor, but the fried rice had chunks of white rice mixed in with the fried rice and the range of vegetables and meat in the fried rice was limited. Recommendations: Next time in Houston seeking Chinese cuisine, I probably will check out a different place for lunch.

Positive: location and service was excellent along with some of the best beef lo mein I have ever had. Negative: soups, generals taos chicken, etc. average at best. Menu said "hot" on general taos, and not even close. For price and selection I would not go back.

The best take out. A great restaurant for regular Chinese food. Great staff. Always consistent quality food. Beautiful atmosphere.

This is our go to restaurant for Chinese near our home. I love that they still have cloth tablecloths, and quiet, calm atmosphere in an age where most restaurants are loud, with tables uncovered. The Mongolian beef is our favorite!

I work close by and go there 3-4 times per month. I have tried many of their menu items and have not been disappointed with the food. The service is quick, but beware - from 11:30 to 1pm the restaurant is PACKED.

We actually ate delivery from here as I was confined at the Medical Center. Everything was excellent, hot, fresh and promptly delivered right to the hotel. Fried pork dumpling and crab wontons were great. Hot and sour soup was our favorite. We had fried rice and sesame chicken, and both were really good. Terrific delivery.

Came here in a group of four to celebrate a birthday. I have to say it is a great restaurant, in terms of décor and food, there is a team of horses atop a Pagoda, impressive. This was my first visit. We ordered various dishes, I went for the Shrimp Chicken & Cashew nuts, but we also ordered Beef & Asparagus, Sesame Chicken, and General Tso's Chicken. Certainly all the dishes were beautifully cooked, and tasted much better than many places I have been. Sadly, they wouldn't let us cut the birthday cake we brought along, but this should not detract from a lovely restaurant, very well staffed and run.

I guess they think that this is the best they can do the quality is really not there I don't know who came up with this menu although there's a lots of things on the menu the flavor of the food is Bland and the sauces seem like they come out of a can if you're looking to have something cooked in a pan I don't really think they can you may leave with a full stomach but would you ever come back maybe if you didn't know about what real Chinese food is I guess people will settle for this place because it's convenient but I'd rather have good food really won't be coming back here tried it several times same consistency of blah although the wait staff is nice

I ordered take-out from this restaurant while staying at a nearby hotel. The food was tasty--I ordered orange shrimp and egg drop soup. The egg drop soup had an interesting ingredient though---roasted corn kernels. Is this Texas's take on egg drop soup? I didn't mind it really but I think I would have preferred the traditional style.

Lunch is served until 4:00 p.m. and for a fraction of the dinner price and the quantity is generous. The Chinese food served here is classic and you'll be back again and again.

The ambience is relaxed, there are large round tables for family or friends-the waiters are excellent. Try the Moochi Pork, the Beijing Duck; don't miss the Orange Beef. The Chicken and Vegetables is amazing spiced with some ginger. For dessert Bing Cherry ice cream pie. Ummm-good- Delivery for a $ 15 minimum- The address is 5115 Buffalo Speedway, Houston-

One of my regular lunch places. They offer lunch menu. Clean, good flavored, and very reasonable price. parking may be a problem if you come around noon weekday. And you may have to wait. There usually is a long que around that time. Yes, it's very popular. So we usually go there before 11:30. I like spicy food, but if you are hesitant then ask waiter for moderation. Service is good, and quick.

My daughter and I came and enjoyed great food with an amazing decor. She thought it was "so beautiful" and we were welcomed in with casual clothes. Looks like we have a new Chinese place when we're down at the med center!

Food is good and the service perfect

I stopped in for lunch, had read reviews decided to give it a try. The fried rice had no vegetables or flavor. The broccoli and chicken was so bland I had to put tons of soy sauce to give it flavor. Service was ok a lot of staff. But I won't be back.

This is a wonderful Asian resaturant complete with white tablecloths on every table. The service is fast and good and the prices are reasonable! The great thing about Qin Dynasty is that they have a very extensive menu that will please everyone! They even have sushi! I will definitely go back!

Qin is a great spot- crowded at lunch for a good reason. The parking can be a bit nuts. The lunch specials are outstanding. The restaurant feels upscale and not rushed, though they are clearly turning tables quickly. Delicious food!

The restaurant is sit down, table service. The Chinese food options are fresh and seasoned well. Three course lunch menu items run 12 to 15 dollars. Menu is vast, including the lunch menu. I especially like the beef options here even though beef is not usually my first choice. We enjoyed the Happy Family and Mongolian Beef with Wonton Soup, Fried Spring Roll, and Steamed Rice.

This is one of my favorite Oriental (Chinese) food restaurants. It's consistently good with everything you can order.

Haven't been this please with a Chinese restaurant in a very long time but along comes Qin Dynasty that made my dining experience excellent. This restaurant is a must-go for great Chinese food at reasonable prices! The service was pretty good, the food was great, and my overall experience was excellent! One of the best Chinese places that Houston has to offer and I highly recommend that if you're in the neighborhood, go check it out! I promise you won't be disappointed.

The food is really good and the menu is large so it really appeals to everyone. The service is great, we have had several waiters and have never been disappointed. The location is great and the setting is very inviting yet sophisticated. My family truly loves this place and highly recommend it.

This restaurant has long been a family favorite so I called the restaurant to confirm they were open on Thanksgiving 2023. They said yes so I made a reservation for 3 at 5PM and got an email confirmation. When we got there the restaurant was closed.

After reading other reviews, I agree that the sweet and sour chicken was a little bland. Not much flavor but nice large pieces of white meat chicken. Loved the egg drop soup. Prices were very reasonable. Parking was tight but restaurant is actually easy to get to which is compliment for Houston.

good food -

After eating the sesame chicken here, I'll never order it anywhere else. Tender white meat with a spicy sauce and generous portions. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and reasonably priced. A repeater.

This place is our go-to chinese restaurant here-- and the fact that they deliver is even better! I really like their beef options (normally I prefer chicken but the beef here is so good!)- The mongolian beef and the beef and broccoli are my favorites. Also, their plain fried rice is awesome- it is lighter than other fried rice that I have had. My boyfriend loves the sesame chicken and refuses to try anything else.

Very good selection of items. There are luncheon combinations that should satisfy anyone. Easy to call in and pick up food in a short time. For dinning in there is sometimes a parking problem.

Went here for business lunch. Quick sitting in the midst of the lunch rush hour (+). Had an efficient and generally helpful server (+). Nothing really to say about their food. Just very very average standard American Chinese fare (Meh). The real downer on this place is the lack of parking spaces for patrons (big -). You have to be kidding me! In Houston, in a shopping plaza, off a major highway exit - and I have to drive two blocks away to park my car. Thanks, but thanks. No chance of a second visit.

We have been to Qin Dynasty due to being a consistently great dining experience. Does not matter whether it is lunch or dinner, very special Chinese cruisine. It is our family's local favorite. The decor is unique, yet subtle. The service is impeccable. Cannot go wrong by dining at Qin Dynasty.

The food was outstanding. They were able to handle our large group and the delivery of food was perfect to handle hungry crowd. Special need requests were no problem for the chef or staff.

My wife talked me in to eating here once because she and another friend have been going for years. I was blown away!! The quality of the food, the quantity of food, the service were all excellent. The prices are very reasonable. I've enjoyed the wonton soup, the dumplings, the Tso's Chicken (my favorite) and they even managed to make broccoli tolerable in their chicken and broccoli. The sauce in that dish is so good and it mutes the parts of the broccoli I usually dislike. Every visit has been terrific!!

It was our first night in Houston and we went to the mall first and lost a lot of time just checking out all the stores and then getting some supplies and by the time we were ready for dinner time had got late and many of the place we went to had closed the kitchen for the night. So we had decided to go back to our hotel and order some Uber eats but as we we're getting closer we saw the sign for this place and decided it would be better than sitting in our hotel eating take out. On entering we knew this place was still serving meals so they had ticked the first box. It actually looked like a fine dining eatery with the way the tables were done. We were seated in a nice spot where we had a good view of the restaurant, bar and reception. We order our safe dishes as we call them when eating in a new place. Kung Pao Chicken (Satay chicken) fried rice and Egg Drop Soup with chicken(chicken and sweet corn soup) plus a mix of dumplings. Food came out in good time was hot and tasty and left us very happy with our choice to eat here instead of delivered take out. Price was reasonable and the staff very freindly knowing we were tourists.

Qin Dynasty is a local treasure that never disappoints. I have frequented it many times under varied circumstances: solo, couples and small group settings, depending on the occasion(s). The atmosphere is comfortable yet elegant and the food, which is always excellent, is served by an outstanding, attentive service staff. Anyone I have entertained there has enjoyed their dining experience. Try it - you'll like it!

Hands down the best Chinese restaurant in Houston. Everything is A+ from the service, friendly staff, food, décor, etc. General Tso's is my favorite dish. Lunch prices are very fair. Qin Dynasty added sushi to their menu at some point several years ago and the sushi is great too. The seafood rice is amazing here, and is enough to feed 4 people probably.

This was one of my families favorite restaurants. My sister went with her family a month ago and found a piece of wrapper in her dish and the manager was roud when she reported the issue. She said she would never go back and told us not to. Since it was our favorite we went again but we should have listened to her. This time I got a foil wrapper in my dish. All I got was the waitress saying that the manager told her to say sorry and that I would not be charged for that dish. In general the restaurant feels dirty and un kept. Bathrooms dirty and just not what it use to be. No personalized service and we were very disappointed. Will never be going back.

The food and experience was so good that I forgot to take any I-Phone pictures. We started with some very good Yellowtail Sushi. The wine selection is broad and the pricing is very reasonable. My daughter had the Sesame Scallops while I had the Steamed Seafood/Vegetable Combo. Both were well prepared and very delicious. Also, it was more than either one of us could eat. The décor is exactly what you would expect from a fine Chinese establishment. The service was fast, efficient and very professional. It would be hard to ask for more in a quality dining experience.

We have been there several times and food quality and service is always good. So far we have never been disappointed. Even with bigger groups, service is good.

I took my girlfriend on a date, and we sat at the sushi bar. The staff was great, however as we were talking, a roach walked across my saki on the sushi bar. I talked to the manager and he said they have a pest problem and the exterminator comes every Tuesday, but roaches come out after, and he even went on to say "you can not get rid of all the roaches, I hope you come back."

I've never had a bad dish here. Very good value for money. Service is always prompt. Always busy at lunchtime so arrive early. Try it!

it is good reliable Cantonese food--very clean and gracious service and quantities. the spicy food is not very spicy so I would ask for some heat if you truly like a szechwan style-well prepared and so clean-lots to look at in the décor--they have a good selection of wines and an open bar. overall a very nice dining experience. a lengthy luncheon menu very well priced.

Bad service from the rude hosts through the management. They are arrogant and dismissive. Food is also very pricy. They frequently get to-go orders wrong, and refuse to appologize. However it does taste very good. I don't want to like it, but I do.

We had a party of 8, so we got to try a variety of their foods. A lot of it was generic restaurant Chines, some was pretty creative. Soups were not very interesting or tasty, and everything was high-fat. I'd like it better if they had some broth-based items.

We are frequent visitors to this neighborhood gem. Our kids love it, and the staff always makes us feel right at home. The food is good and consistent. The menu is diverse enough for almost everyone.

We arrived in Houston after a long drive from New Mexico. Exhausted and hunger, but not wanting to venture out, we reached online for a restaurant that would deliver. Qin Dynasty came up as close by. The menu is varied by the sushi and sashimi caught my eye. It should be noted that not everything that is available is on the menu. For example, I asked if they served a spider roll and was told “of course.” The same response was given concerning a spicy tuna roll. Delivery was quick and the driver was pleasant. We found the pricing for the sashimi and sushi to be acceptable as was the quality of the product. However, the spider roll was over salty. It was such a shame that the delicate soft shell crab was destroyed with over seasoning. Additionally, I was told that all items came in pairs of two. Why only one tuna roll? Now that I am rested, it’s time venture out to some of Houston’s other eateries. I doubt I’ll try Qin Dynasty again.

This is not your family style one from Column A..Two from Column B Chinese restaurant. It's the best Chinese food I've had anywhere and very upscale for Chinese. The food and service are both excellent. Their chicken on skewers appetizer is great and their sesame chicken is too. The sesame chicken is ordinarily served spicy, but they will prepare it any way you like. I've been to Qin Dynasty many times for dinner, always on weeknights and they aren't crowded. I understand they do a very brisk lunch business. Don't let the strip center location fool you. This is a wonderful restaurant.

We like very much chinese food so we went to this restaurant to try it. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. Everything we order was good so we were happy eating our food suddenly I see that something was crawling on the table. A COCKROACH! This is the first time something like this happened to us. We immediately left. They didn't charge us for the food. It was an awful experience!

Always look forward to the chance to eat here. Usually opt for sesame chicken, fried rice, lobster rolls, sweet & sour soup w/noodles. Yummy good!

Worst Kung Pao Chicken ever. Chunks of chicken and peanuts; the end. No green onion, bell pepper, etc. boring. Extremely disappointing

The restaurant is boutique and had a good reputation. The food was below average for the price and I could not eat the Sechuan pork with bamboo shoots because it was too salty. The chicken was much better and all white meat. The sauces tasted the same. I'll not likely go back. Limited parking.

I like this one. The chicken is really good, and I'm assuming everything else is great as well. If you're picky, like me, get General Tso's Chicken non-spicy. You won't regret it.

surprised in the atmosphere, we were a bit under dressed nice place very good food slightly rushed to get us out the door

Don't really think this is real Chinese food.... The sauces don't taste homemade... Not much flavor to the over cooked food... Not going to come back here

Great Chinese food at good price points. Very helpful and attentive service. Piano bar on weekend evenings. An under-rated and little frequented Sushi Bar. Very good though. Prepared skillfully to order.

great food- mom's first time for bday- sis and nieces loved it! Been here before with my son-food always good.

We just used the take-out service and it was fast, efficient and very reasonable. Very nice staff. The dining room is very nice but it was a bit noisy. I would like to try for dinner next time.

You just can't go wrong with Qin. Dined there tonight with friends and hadn't been there in over a year -- and it's just like a remember it. High quality food, great environment and wonderful service. I miss working close enough to lunch their often!

My friend and I went there for a late lunch. I had egg drop soup and Hunan Shrimp. The soup was smooth and delicious. The shrimp were well seasoned and the portion was very large. In fact, my friend and I both brought home enough for another meal. The lunch menu is a bargain price. The service was good and the atmosphere was very attractive and relaxing. I am anxious to return to try another menu option. I definitely will be a repeat customer.

I have not experienced anything bad on the menu after years of coming to this location for lunch. The food is fresh.

Office ad lunch delivered and the service was excellent. The menu is extensive, the food is overall pretty good. There was a small roach in the hot and sour soup...ick!

I frequent Asian food all over this country and in Asia. This is an excellent place. Top notch ask the way. Can't wait to return and try other dishes.

Not only is the atmosphere good, with a lot of eye appeal and interest, but the food is reasonally priced. We went as a group with everyone having something different. Amazingly, but we were all pleased with our choices.

We ordered for delivery at work. We had a huge order. Not only was it delivered quickly, but dang they got all the orders right! Highly recommend this place, their food is amazing and such a great price. We’ve been inside the restaurant, too and it’s very nice.

The decor here is interesting. Parking and location are safe and convenient. The food is good but I have never had anything that made me crave a return. Clearly I am in the minority, however, because the place is always packed. I had a dish shown as a seafood Thai curry. It was mediocre. The more traditional "chinese" dishes looked better. They do have steamed "diet" dishes. Props to them for that.

Best strip center Chinese in Houston. Lunches are a real bargain. Hot and Sour soup is the best. All ingredients are high quality. Only neg is that fried rice should be cooked with more salt.

The staff seated us in the empty, very inferior extra room rather than the beautiful dining room (Pictured above). I insisted that they move us to the main room- which they did. I was well dressed, so the only thing I can figure out is that they prefer to seat older people where no one can see them. But I am not that old and do not have gray hair. If you go there, stand up for your rights.

This is a 5 star restaurant for Chinese. One of my two favorite for entertaining (North China is my other). I don't think that they could get much better. Everyone loves it and the atmosphere is great for a casual trip or a business dinner. Try it.

Remarkable an Asian place that serves great sushi, good Thai, and awesome Chinese, it's often one or the other, not all. We went a s a group six, had really nice service, attentive, and not rushed, my grilled beef with shredded ginger was excellent, three others had sushi, which was awesome, the Thai curry was great. Definitely a place to go back, last but not least, the price value combination is very balanced.

Best Hot and Sour soup ever... though I'm always tempted to get the House Special Wonton. Actually, I don't think I've ever had a bad dish here. The food is refined and the flavors are simple and sophisticated. All dishes have a choice of brown, white or fried rice to accompany. Try the Lettuce Wraps, the Jalapeno Beef or any of the Chicken dishes. The decor is amazing and the prices are extremely fair!

For years my family has been frequenting Qin Dynasty. The food is always well prepared, fresh, tasty and plentiful. We keep coming back to the great food in a beautiful setting. And I was happy to learn yesterday that I can get it delivered through Door Dash. What a comfort when I was homebound.

Food, service and atmosphere were all outstanding. I had sesame pork and my husband had a lo mein dish. We also had a calamari appetizer. Food was out quickly after ordering and it was all very good. Wait staff was helpful and friendly without being intrusive. Would definitely recommend

This Chinese restaurant is very clean, atmosphere is great. Quiet place where people can hear each other. Very formal setting with white tablecloths and real cloth table napkins. Food is healthy, non-greasy and taste good at the same time. Very affordable too.

Truly an excellent restaurant. Service is attentive, quality is extremely good. Very accommodating since I cannot eat shellfish and they do have sushi. We go at least once a month and have for years. Just went last night and ran into numerous friends. Highly recommend.

Excellent service - nice atmosphere. Wonderful staff. Food that is great quality and price. One of my go-to places when I am in town.

Everything on the menu is fantastic. Make sure and try the the succulent sesame chicken. Although the menu items are primarily Chinese, there are also fabulous Vietnamese and South Pacific options as well.

I do travel alot, and in the past few years Houston was place that I visited all the time. Food in this restaurant was always great, great specials for lunch for me and my friends who live there. Always immaculate, clean, polite, professional and tasteful, we love going back there and bringing more people back there.

I was really looking forward to eating food with some soup. The food and soup did not taste very well; it appeared that it was almost on the verge of going bad. I had to throw it away.

It's OK but to me the food dose not have a deep flavor to it ... the service is good and attentive. Parking is good. Seating is quick

First time here for the hubby and son for my birthday celebration. Overall, very pleasant, food was good and our server was pleasant and met all of our requests. Prices are very fair and the atmosphere is great - def beyond the average. We ordered Jasmine tea. The individual pots were a mess. You could not pour without spilling every cup. Really, one well designed pot would have sufficed. She seemed a little hurried. When you are out for a birthday dinner, you do not want to feel hurried. We will def go back and would recommend to others!

We eat here once in a while and always enjoy it. The food is good and the atmosphere is pleasant. Prices and service have always been good.

From my husband I learned to appreciate Oriental food, my favorite is Chinese. In Houston I dine, whether there with friends or takeout after church, at Qin Dynasty. They provide elegance, complete with white linen table cloths, bronze statues of their culture and in the back room beautiful red & gold designed walls. The food is delicious and plentiful. I especially like the lunch combo specials (very affortable) and the desserts are delectable. And I am very picky about my crabpuffs, I usually order extra to go. The staff shows much respect to their customers which keeps me going back. Everyone I have taken to Qin Dynasty, including my finicky grand-niece, loved it!!! I may go again tomorrow after church.

Fantastic lunch specials! Try the Special Lo Mein. Amazing antique reproductions everywhere from the tomb of the great Qin Emperor. Friendly and attentive staff. Always look forward to going there with friends or for business. Never disappointed.

I stumbled upon Qin Dynasty while looking for Chinese carry-out last night and noted someone on Yelp said it was the best Chinese in Houston. Skeptical but curious, I ordered Sesame Chicken, Miso Soup and Edamame. He ordered Mongolian Beef and Vegetable Soup. We can tell you for sure that this is the best Chinese carryout we've yet to have in Houston. They deliver, too. No charge and fast. All the other Chinese restaurants in my area can consider this review a fond goodbye. Not Mala Sichuan, of course, which isn't in my area and which serves the best Chinese food we've had outside of China

When you get to Qin Dynasty and the front desk staff greet you be sure and ask to be seated in the section where the server by the name of Carlos is working. You will not be disappointed. Qin Dynasty as one trip advisor reviewer said "bizarre parking" is true but do not let that discourage you. The restaurant is similar to P.F. Changs (though no-where near) in the sense that the plates are big enough to share. General Tso's Chicken is chunky and sauced right. Mongolian Beef, though a bit dry, is worth ordering. Very tasty, flavorful, and spiced right. For desert we opted for the Friend Carmel Banana and is served Tempura style. Our bill was $44.07 so be sure to remember that plates are of sharing size and the price is steep.

The Qin Dynasty has become one of our regular Chinese restaurants in Houston. The decore, service and food are all excellent, with prices including wine prices very reasonable. Although the dishes are "Westernized" and not authentic Chinese recipes, all dishes I have tried have been delicious as well as large serves. Most nights a pianist plays quietly, so it is a very relaxed atmosphere to enjoy a good meal and have a conversation without a noisy background.

There is not a dish ordered by anyone at our table either visit that would not be ordered and savored again. We had enough food to be able to take home and enjoy another time. The staff was helpful as some had food issues to deal with.

First, this restaurant is, IMHO, without question, the most beautiful Chinese restaurant in the city. My wife and I stopped in for lunch, and were seated for some reason in the bar area, rather than the restaurant area, which is much prettier. We both ordered the Sesame Chicken lunch, she with the Hot & Sour soup and brown rice, I with WonTon soup and fried rice. She said her soup was "okay"; mine had excellent dumplings, but the broth was somewhat lacking in flavor. The Spring Rolls which accompanied both dishes were somewhat tasteless. The Sesame Chicken did not have as much flavor as in other places where we've enjoyed the same dish, although it was 100% pure white meat, well-prepared, and the portion sizes were very large. Our server was not at all friendly, but was very efficient. Parking is in an open lot, but it can be difficult to find parking spaces. FWIW, when we had eaten dinner there several years ago, we had enjoyed the food much more.

I love Chinese food. This one did not disappoint. Beautiful decor, quiet and a made for a nice night out. Menu had many choices. Food was served hot and tasty.

Gerat place to live go for an upscale dinner in the shadows of Greenway Plaza. Live music at night adds to the friendly atmosphere.

We love this place. The food is fresh and ingredients are superb. It's not a typical Chinese restaurant where there are two or three sauces that are used on all entrees. The service is fast and friendly. This place is fabulous!

I love this place because the food is always good, service is always top notch, and if you get there at the right time, they're super quick! Their Shrimp lo mein, general tso chicken, garlic shrimp, and garlic chicken are all awesome! They have great won ton soup and egg rolls. I absolutely love this place!
Great food fast!
Ordered a selection including a combo plate delivered to my hotel room. The food arrived fast and was exceptionally good. I tried the sweet and sour chicken combo which was very tasty. Great value for the price I paid - the food was easily enough to feed two!
