Korean barbecue is one of my favorite cuisines in the world and this place did not disappoint. It's right in the heart of Korea Town in LA and located conveniently across the street from Paris Baguette, a great Korean bakery. I especially recommend the ribeye.

Stopped by this restaurant for lunch during our family vacation. Restaurant was busy, but we got seated in 15 min. Restaurant is clean, food is very good, however the service was lacking. This was our first time eating at this kind of place which we let the waitress to know about. Still, she hasn’t explained much and just told that she is going to cook for us. No welcoming attitude, everything in a harry. This part was kind of disappointing.

They ‚accidentally’ booked 80$ more from my credit card than the amount on the bill. Was given an email address to contact but they never bothered to answer. I live abroad and noticed too late. would definitely not recommend!!!

My opinion did not change after eating here the second time. This is the best Korean BBQ restaurant that I have ever visited. I was not big on Korean BBQ, but eating here changed my stand. I love the BBQ dishes that this restaurant offers. Their prices are reasonable for what you get. They are generous with the condiments too, which are an important element in Korean dining experience. The serving is quick and the servers seem to be well trained. Really enjoyed my dining experience in this restaurant.

They don't take reservations and there is always a wait but it is worth it. Get there and put your name on the list and get in line at the bar which has a convenient area to order from outside. The bartenders make a yummy old fashioned. There are several beers on tap, a decent wine list and several unique cocktails to choose from. Our party of 4 decided to order a Combo with 4 meets and added the teriyaki chicken and tofu appetizer. The sides were already at the table and we started eating! What's so cool about this place is they cook the meats at the table for you allowing you to enjoy each item individually as it's cooked. Service is great food is outstanding and the prices will make you want to come back again and again!

Really enjoyed my experience. Lots of meat. Lots of little side dishes. Everything was wonderful except the really long wait.

I haven't had a bad Korean barbecue while in K-town . Quarters is no different. It apparently is owned by the same owner as Baik Jeon. Service was quick and food was amazing. What more can you ask for?

This place is SOO worthy of its Michelin star. The staff was very attentive and the food was delicious. This is our second time visiting the location when we were in town to visit family. The food was fresh and cooked to perfection! GET THE MELTED CHEESE TO DIP THE BEEF IN. So weird at first but SOOOO good. You will not regret it. Overall, would definitely return again and again.

There was about a 45 min wait, but we arrived around 7:15 and another popular Korean BBQ nearby is temporarily closed, so the overflow from there is coming here. The servers were very friendly and helpful. I love all the salads and banchan that they provide with every meal. There was a romaine based salad, a radish based salad, tofu, kimchi, pumkin, veggie pancake, broccoli, soup and more. The cold soup was very yummy. We had chicken skewers, octopus and jumbo shrimp. We also had the kimchi fried rice and it was good. The server cooked our food, not us. Everything was delicious and the price was good. The atmosphere is like a buzzing bar. I recommend this place and i will be back. I think it's best for a date or dinner with friends.

We came here with a family of four based on Their reviews. The meat was amazing. The kimchi noodle side was very strange. No one on the table liked it. If you don’t eat spicy like me, you can’t eat the salad, soybean stew or kimchi. I really missed the nonmeat, noodle options the usual Korean BBQ places offer. The main reason for the 3 rating is their customer service. Any question we asked, we were looked at as if we were stupid. We told a couple different servers we didn’t like the kimchi noodles and they literally had no response and walked away. My daughter, the carnivore said she’ll come back for the meat but I won’t because of the lack of side options and bad customer service.

Well taken care of with excellent service during late lunch. Plenty of food. Would return again. First time visit. Parking can be a challenge

We were actually headed to another KBBQ joint but but that turned out to be closed. Quarters looked well patronized so we checked it out. Good call, cause the food was really good. All the side dishes are laid out before you even sit, and the service was fast and efficient. The only Con I note is that the ventilation system is fairly lacking, so you come out smelling like you obviously did some grilling. This was the only KBBQ I tried in Cali, so I can't ascertain if the newer in-grill ventilation type systems are used prevalently. They should think about installing such a system though.

The kimchi fried rice and marinated short rib are amazing. This is a really good spot for lunch, as it's not too crowded. If you go after 6pm be prepared to wait up to an hour... it's worth it though. In my opinion, one of the best Korean BBQ spots in K-town.

Lets start with the quality of the meat is the best Korean BBQ I have been too. The best part is the fondue cheeses.

If you are in LA and craving Korean food dont miss out this place!!! Actually even if you are not craving korean just go & try once-you wont be disappointed..the food is scrumptous..the quality of meat they use is excellent and you will realize it yourself once you taste it..I went there twice during my trip to LA and cant wait to go and eat again next time we are there..thanks to Quarters Team❤️

Cheer up boys smile once in awhile. Food is great here but the boys don’t seem to be happy working here.

One of my new favorite Korean BBQ places! This place is owned by the same owners as Agassi Gopchang and Kanghodong Baekjeong. The first time I came here, their combos had great meats. But recently I noticed they changed their combos so to eat the same kind of meats (better quality), you have to order the Tapas. Well.. we decided it was ok to pay extra for the better quality and it was sooooo good! I've come here quite a few times now and every time it's good. The service here is excellent as well! The wait here isn't bad at all compared to Kanghodong but you get just as good quality meat. I feel like the meats are pretty much the same at all 3 locations.

This was the best Korean BBQ I've ever eaten. Plus there are 7 additional small plates and kimchi soup, all very tasty. The price is extremely reasonable for all of that food. It's fun to watch the servers cook your meat choices in front of you. The service was efficient if that particularly friendly. One downside that it was very loud, so it was hard to hear any conversation. But overall, definitely a great choice.

This was our first experience of a Korean BBQ .The quality of the Meat and Fish was great. The staff were fantastic and friendly and cooked the meat and fish to a very high standard. Very good selection of Wines and Beers. This restaurant has a great buz and atmosphere with great food and service its a must if you visit Korean Town

It is amazing. You might have to wait because it gets crazy in there, but you have a nice terrace to wait. The food is delicious and its cook in front of you. The combos are big and to share so be ready. Also the Octopus was amazing but it is spicy. Best Korean Barbecue experience.

Now this place is actually worth the 2 hour wait 😊 Get your name on the list settle in at their Bar or another close buy and build up your appetite 😊 When you sit down the Meat Feast begins and the table full of sides add colour and flavour to a wonderful meat eating experience. Pace yourself and the best is definitely saved till last A great steak and cheese fondu. I'll know better next time and I'll be ready to enjoy the finale even more.

Hubby and I probably have been here at least 20 times, well, it's walking distance, has a full bar, good meat and good service, what not to like?!?!?! Actually, yes, there is, I hate waiting in line, here, it's a long line. Everytime I've been here, the line it's an hour long (yes, even weekday), but, at least there is a full bar I can get drinks from. However, today is the exception :) the wait was 10 mins only! You know why?!?! It's because we got there at 5pm!!!! We skipped lunch so we will be hungry enough to eat :) We ordered a large, combo B and a seafood pancake for 10 people (2 kids and 2 non hungry adults). It was a perfect portion. We ate everything, no leftover. Especially the meat was good and it was cooked by people who knows the meat well, nothing was overcooked, perfection!!! Good meat + good cooking skill + good marinade + good service + short wait (never happens) = 5 points!

This was the fourth time I ate at the restaurant and I could say for sure that it serves the best Korean BBQ to my taste thus far. I have visited many other Korean BBQ restaurants, and none beat it up to this point. The service might take a hit from time to time during its very busy hours, but the taste is always there. It is a very deserving Michelin awarded restaurant!

My wife and I went to this restaurant when visiting LA in February 2019. We went with another couple who we had met in the area, both couples visiting. The food was good but when the check came both couples naturally put down our credit cards to split the check. The restaurant ran my card twice. I found out when I got my statement and immediately disputed the charge. The restaurant wrote back to the credit card company that they did in fact run my card twice and I should seek out the other couple to collect the portion of the bill from them. I wrote back that I do not have the other couple’s contact info as we met them on our trip and just went to dinner with them. The restaurant replied to the credit card company that the charge is still valid because it was my idea to split the check...what?!? In what world does this make any sense?!? I am still in the process of disputing the charge but am also in the process of writing this review on every restaurant app that exists. DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT - THEY ARE NOT HONEST PEOPLE AND EVEN AFTER ADMITTING THEIR MISTAKE ARE REFUSING TO CORRECT THEIR ERROR.

i really enjoyed the atmosphere, i felt like home for real I m so impatient that someone brings me here again !!!!!

Feeling like BBQ, but not wanting to get dirty, well run into Quarters nested in #koreantown #chapmanmarket close to Downtown Los Angeles. Not only the food is great but the waiter does everything for you, so you don’t even have to cook if you don’t want to. Only down side is the crazy load music 🎶 I guess that goes with the very fast service paced.

If it's your first time eating Korean BBQ you've come to the right place. The server cooks the meat for you, so excellent for first timers like me who don't know what they are doing! I had the combo #2, and each meat got better and better! Con: A bit of a wait. Pro: They have a lovely waiting area with a bar so you can enjoy a drink before getting seated!

This is an excellent Korean BBQ place. They cook for you at the table. The food and sides were all fresh and well prepared. Be sure to have your entire party present to be seated. We tried late on a Friday night for a party of 6 and had a 90 minute wait to be seated. This place is loud and crowded but it has a very cool vibe. Service is above average. Valet parking is the way to go.

They don't take reservations, no matter how large the party. But don't despair. A banner at the bar says "one of LA's best places worth waiting for" (per another site)... and gosh, it's TRUE! Quarters is tucked inside a cool restored downtown/Koreatown building called Chapman Market, surrounded by similarly busy and hipster modern Asian restaurants. They have a double sided bar- one side faces into the restaurant, the other towards the bar/waiting area. There is a long fire pit and bench seating. Lots of space to hang out while waiting for your table. You can order appetizers and drinks. We had Korean nachos... really delicious! Once seated, the thing that strikes you is that the meat is very high quality. We ordered beef bulgogi, spicy pork belly (more fatty than meat), marinated steak and kimchi fried rice. The sides were delicious. Overall great atmosphere and good food!

A group of us had a pre-dinner drink here before heading across the street for some Korean BBQ. They have a nice covered area outside the restaurant (complete with gas fire in the middle of a long bar) to have a cocktail and/or wait for your table. Our group ordered their special drink within a drink called a Quarter's Rita (think slushie with a cider thrown in for good measure). They had many different flavors (all of which tasted very sweet, due to the slushie/cider combo). Total for 5 (4 slushies and one healthy pour of wine) $90. We were able to walk right into the bar and order.

The first and i think the best korean bbq ever i’ve never tried ! Very Nice and so good ! The best place to taste it in Los Angeles !

It is a busy place. We were put on a wait and by the time we grabbed a drink at the bar, we were called for our table. The drinks are unique. I had a peach margarita with a pear cider. The food was great - we ordered 3 meats (bulgogi, pork belly and marinated beef short rib) and a side of the cold noodles. It was more than enough for the two of us. Small sides (like kimchi, sweet potato/pumpkin mixture and so on) are also provided with the meal, which would have been plenty with the meats. The pork belly was the only one we did not like - it lacked flavor. The bulgogi was the best!! Fun atmosphere...we will definitely return.

Quarters uses Resy Reservation (They block certain times on purpose- downside), was initially told the wait would be 45 mins but when the server asked our preference (inside or out), we were open to both and the wait changed from 45 to 2 mins. The Banchan was already at the table – kimchi, salad, green onion salad, rice paper, radish kimchi, sweet potato, tofu, broccoli, steamed egg and rice (need to ask for it) Ordered combo #2; beef belly, boneless short ribs, grilled bulgogi and pork jowl. This really does serve 2-3 people, if you are bigger party getting the large makes sense you are only pay $51 per person with tax and tip vs what we paid which was $62 each total $124 for both of us. I was surprised they put cheese in a tin cup and added it to the grill but quickly became a fan of the fondue, it was addicting!! Our server Crystal was very fast and friendly, I don’t think we ever picked up any of the cooking tools, they do it all for you! They do cook at a fast pace – Just remember you are also paying for the ambience so, if need be, tell them to slow it down =)

Nothing special about the experience. The service wasn't particularly friendly or quick, but wasn't the opposite either. The food was too expensive, especially for just only being okay. The place across the street is ten times better.

It was my first time experiencing Korean BBQ. It's done right there in front of you in the center of your table and you get to share in the cooking experience just by letting your mouth water. We tried a variety of dishes including BBQ ribs, chicken, and shrimp. The servers are quietly courteous and manage to cook while you and your guests can still maintain a conversation. The atmosphere is casual and clean.

We did not know what to expect with Korean BBQ but felt comfortable choosing a highly rated location, which was walking distance from our hotel. Restaurant was modern, full bar, good service, and the whole experience was an adventure. Our waiter was helpful to explain what items were, and he offered me a fork when I couldn't manage well with chopsticks. He cooked the food on our tabletop grill to perfection!

This was our first trip to a Korean barbecue restaurant. The food at Quarters was very good, but a little confusing for a first timer. The service was awkward. Our first server was very soft spoken and the location is loud. Even though we told her we were first timers she seemed reluctant to explain much. Once we ordered the service was very efficient but not friendly. Our second server, the one who took over half way through the meal was friendlier and gave us some explanation.

This restaurant offers wonderful Korean BBQ dining experience. Great food and attentive service are their trademark. Combined with lively atmosphere, then you have a rewarding dining enjoyment. This place is usually jampacked with customers and still very lively until deep into the nights, even during weeknights. So plan ahead your visit as finding parking can be a challenge.

We have been here twice and liked it both times. We get one of the specials which s always more then we can eat. The side kimchi soup and egg dish are excellent. The service is adequate, proficient, but not particularly friendly. But we go there for good food and that is what we get.

it's in the same plaza as kanghodong baek jong. if you had to wait, please pick the other restaurant! meat is so much better in flavours and texture. their side dishes are not as good as kanghodong's. this place was ok compares to its competitor across the plaza

Very good food and reasonable. The place is a little more hip and modern than the more traditional spots around it. Very cool outdoor bar while you wait for your table.

Best service and Korean bbq in LA! I love this restaurant..I was twice in a week the place is spacious and clean, the service fast and dynamic. I will be back!

Quarters has a fun modern vibe with a really cool outdoor bar in a quaint area of Korea town. I went with a friend and we ordered the combo 2, pork belly, pork jowl, bulgogi and short rib. It was a TON of food. I love that they cook it for you at the table instead of guessing when the meats are perfectly done. The cheese fondue is a fun touch. The egg soup and kimchi stew were my favorite sides. Just make sure to show up with an empty stomach!

We live near a large Korean restaurant area on the East Coast, and were very impressed with Quarters. The meats were excellent, the side dishes extraordinary (especially the cold soup). The service was somewhat impersonal and rushed but that's not why you come to a place like this. Good selection of draft beers. The parking is very tight at the main lot but there is another place right next door if the main lot is full (as it often is).

We decided to try out Quarters instead of going to our usual KBBQ place (Baekjeong). I wasn't expecting much since Baekjeong pretty much ruined us for a lot of other KBBQ places, but I must say we were pleasantly surprised! We were seated quickly (within 5 min on a Sat afternoon) and the service was great. We ordered the large, which included the cheese fondue, and it was just enough food for our party of 6. The quality of the meats was similar if not the same as Baekjeong, meaning the quality was excellent! We will definitely be back!

I was staying at a place close to Korea town in LA for two nights after my conference in Las Vegas and one of my colleague suggested to have a dinner at Quarters. It seemed very busy due to the night we visited was a Saturday and ended up waiting for more than 1.5hours to get a table for 3. They have first come first serve policy which I am not a big fan of but they had a bar and the area where I could have drinks and also some food if I like while waiting for the table, it worked out to be ok. The food was delicious and they used good quality meat. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a good Korean BBQ place with reasonable price.

I literally cannot say enough good words! The food quality was unbelievable and the staff are so well trained to know exactly when the food is cooked to perfection. Very reasonably priced and will definitely return.

Food is "okay". Nothing to go "wow" about, three other places within walking distance that have the same schtick. Drinks were better than the food and they have a nice big bar area to sample the drinks while the LONG wait lines play out. My main problem was the service. Just terrible. Rude, we felt like we were intruding the entire time. This was our first Korean BBQ and we were very excited based on the reviews but the service just made the place awful. We even went back another night to see if it was just a one off problem but it was even worse the second time round...at least until the bill was to be paid and then things got awkwardly friendly. It was right near our hotel so I would have been desperately upset if I had made an effort through LA traffic to find the place!

My daughter invited me and the wifey for lunch. A late lunch so it's not crowded. My daughter told me they can be crowded for dinner. Not surprised why. The meat is tender and a set meal depending on the number of people. The best of it, they'll cook it for you. It beats the purpose of doing it yourself, as in most KBB. But for me, it's just fine. Now, I'm focused in eating and enjoying the meal. Never get to ask for sides, but we had enough. Will be back and will surely bring other family.

Alike the great outdoor bar with a spectacular gas fireplace along the counter, the restaurant is modern with brick wall and large wooden table with the bell shaped extractor above each BBQ. We ordered some "tapas" that came with extra BBQ items (Cheese fondue, Vegetable Skewers, soup) and opted for the Prime Large Combo for 4. That was a great choice with different and excellent beef and pork cuts. The BBQ is fully operated by a dedicated grill master! We tried the Soju and beer and had a great time. The place is casual and friendly loud with the big lively tables and the big sport TV screens. Parking may be difficult on peak hours ... but valet will direct you to alternate free parking lot few blocks away.

Worst experience ever in any restaurant, Korean or otherwise. A family member came to say hello while my family and I were having dinner and the manager did not allow her to sit at our table (where there was plenty of space) even for a few minutes. He and the staff was arrogant, disrespectful and lacking in common sense. Never again at this place. They turned arrogant!!

A coworker and I came here for dinner in February 2018 - it was our first Korean BBQ experience and we were impressed with the freshness of the vegetables and the quality of the meats. It ended up being A LOT of food for two people, I definitely recommend a group of 4+ for this type of restaurant, but we left very happy and very full! We really enjoyed watching them cook the food in front of us at our table and were impressed by the wide array of meats and vegetables offered. Would definitely recommend and hope to return when traveling in the area again.

Quarters is one of the best KBBQ places in LA. If you're from Vegas like me and like to eat at kbbq places, you will notice that the quality of this place trumps anywhere in Vegas. This ain't DJK or Tofu Hut! I recommend the beef belly if you like brisket. They're similar but has more flavour!

Absolutely amazing Korean BBQ experience. This is our second time to quarters (we live in Phoenix) And wow - it was just as amazing as the first time!! The highest quality meats, super tender and flavorful! The service was great - they helped grill the meats to ensure they were cooked to perfection. The sides were also incredible tasty - especially the green onion salad! It will be hard to eat at any other Korean BBQ places now :) We can't wait to return on our next trip to LA

The food is so good we came here 2 nights in a row. Both nights our tab was between $110-$130 which is amazing for what we ordered. Both nights we ordered octopus, ribeye, scallops, spicy chicken, tongue, shrimp and a bottle of wine. If we ordered that at home(Hawaii) it would of been $200 and up. I’ll definitely be coming back the next time we’re in Los Angeles.

This was our first time eating Korean BBQ. Our server was very helpfull picking out what to order and also helped with cooking the meats on the grill. In addition to the delicious meats you also get tons of side dishes included. Well worth the visit and would love to return the next time we are in LA

Was very excited about eating Korean BBQ in LA, as everyone says this is the mecca of Korean food. I've had amazing korean food in Atanta, as well as from my week in Seoul earlier this year. I found the food to be very good, but not amazing. The beef dishes were awesome, but the pork belly was simply "ok." The waiters are a bit pushy and will make you feel rushed when ordering. Refills and general service was slow as well. I would def return, but not until I tried other options.

On Sunday night 9:00pm, we still waited 30 minuets for our table. It proves how good the restaurant is. Meat is fresh. They cooked all meats for us at table. Side dishes come out very quick. We loved majority of our dishes.

Came here for a friend’s birthday dinner. It’s a favorite of many Angelenos, and it’s evident through the wait. It took over an hour for us to get seated on a Tuesday night, but we were a table of 8. Expect to wait at least 30 minutes though. There are other restaurants in the area like Toe Bang that you can also eat at in case you give up :) Snow Monster is near too in case you want to have some boba while you wait, although they don’t call you when your table is ready - you have to be there in-person otherwise you forfeit your spot. Parking - there is a lot with valet as well as a second lot in the back you can park in for two hours. It’s $7 but with validation from the restaurant, it’s $5. Otherwise there’s street parking but that’s usually difficult to come by in KTown. Ambiance - hip, young vibe. There’s hip hop music blaring through the restaurant and you see quite a bit of groups of friends hanging out. There’s a bar outside that you can buy drinks at while you wait. They have these “Ritas” where it’s a big frosty alcoholic drink that’s tasty but can easily get you buzzed. Food - the star of the show. Very high quality meat. It’s not AYCE so you won’t leave hating yourself, but rather you leave satisfied. I particularly enjoyed the bulgogi with garlic. There were four banchan - the broccoli one reminded me of the broccoli salad from Souplantation (in a good way). The potato was sweet potato, and mildly sweet. Alas there was no fishcake. You can order a la carte or you can get a combination. Four of us got the Large Combination for $115 and we left satisfied. It also came with the tofu soup and egg which were piping hot and delicious. The sauces were alright but the meat on its own was good enough. You have to ask for rice and there were no rice wrappers. Service - efficient and quick. They refilled our salads and banchan without us asking although our waitress never brought out the rice we asked for. They cook the food for you and do so in such a way that you know they do this a lot. Tdlr; come here for a special occasion like a birthday or when you feel like treating yourself and low quality KBBQ won’t cut it. However, expect a long wait time and focus on quality, rather than quantity.

This place was average, but it's a very clean establishment. They don't have quite a lot of my favorite things to order at Korean BBQ, so make sure to check out the menu before coming. It's a younger crowd and kind of loud, but that's okay for a Friday night. The rib eye was tasty, the cold soup was weird, the kimchee was really good. You may by the 1/4 lb for the meat, which is an interesting concept, but I wouldn't return. There are too many awesome KBBQ spots to enjoy a stone's throw away.

It's more expensive than other KBBQ restaurants but the quality matches the price. I wish they had unlimited kimchi pancake refill.

I came here to have some dinner with a friend and we had a good time here. It is not all you can eat, so you are paying for quality. It is a bit pricey however, and I did not feel that the pricing was up to par with the food quality. I feel like just a bit less on the pricing could be fair. The "marinated beef" didn't have any flavoring, which I found strange. That's the first time that's happened. In any case, it is a very nice ambiance. If you've got the money, I would suggest this place. Lots of drinks available. The only reason I gave this place four stars, is because of the lack of willingness in customer service. From the moment I came in, to the service inside, and leaving, I was not given a single smile. I get it, it's busy. You're in the zone, trust me, I work in that field as well, but I always make people feel welcome, I always smile. When I came in, I got stared at from the workers, as if they were really hoping I wasn't there. Then they led me to my table and I said thank you and not a single look at me. Just kept walking. The lady serving us was nice but too serious. Not a single smile. As I'm leaving, I said thank you and goodbye to one of the workers. Didn't even acknowledge me. I found that so strange so I turned around before heading out the door, and she turned around to look at me, stared at me, and kept walking another way. Every single worker was wayyy to serious. Management needs to encourage and teach its workers here how to welcome people with a smile. It's a monday night. Not even friday, or Saturday, or even Sunday when I know those are the busiest times. So please, smile. It's not for my sake, it's for yours.

Very good quality meat, a wide selection of dishes waiting for you when you first sit down and all very reasonably priced. Recommended.

I went there with some friends: great place. We waited 5 minutes but once served the table was already full of sides. I've never tried korean bbq before: mystique experience. They cooked the meat directly on the table and the waiter was almost always there: great service. One think was weird: the water was yellow! But it still remail a great place to try. Also a very good price (less than 20$) with no wine.

I can't tell you how many times i have been to this place, but i can tell you for sure , that i have never been disappointed! The quality of the meat is amazing, and i have tried pretty much everything, the only things that i don't like a lot are the sides that come with the meat, cause i don't like spicy ..... but besides that i recommend you everything! Usually with my dinner i always order soju, is a small bottle , it's really easy to drink and you can end up drunk without even knowing how, cause it's so fresh and i would say "tasteless" that it's like drinking water....with the alcoholic level of a liquor!!

Excellent customer service and great food. Cleaning spotless and I enjoyed a great time with family.

What a wonderful experience this was. It was my first time at a Korean BBQ house. We visited with my son and some of his friends and has a ball. The food was delicious and it’s similar to a Japanese teppanyaki except that one is the cook, so every bite is cooked to one’s choice. The service is a little chaotic since the waiters are running all over the place helping the customers. But at the same time, it gives the place a special atmosphere. Loved it and will return.

So Delicious! I read a lot of reviews and knew to expect a wait. We walked around, got a boba and took some funny pics. Wait was a little less than quoted and totally worth it! Portions were perfect. We have usually enjoyed doing the cooking ourselves, but I found that I enjoyed it more with the staff doing our cooking, cutting and even switching out the grill for beef vs shrimp, etc. I highly recommend Quarters!! We were all stuffed and rolled out the door happy. Price was better than expected for all we ate and enjoyed!

We had great service. There were four us for lunch in a Saturday with no wait. We had a combo for 4 with all of the side dishes. Everything was delicious. Since we were not familiar with all the different cuts if meet, we asked the waiter the name of the meat they were cooking for us. They were all very responsive.

My husband and I ate her twice while visiting my stepdaughter in LA. We ended up staying in Koreatown and she recommended Quarters. We enjoyed it so much we ate there 2 nights in a row. The food was delicious and the staff very accommodating. There were several small dishes already set out when we were seated. We ordered the boneless short rib, marinated short rib, grilled bulgogi (my favorite), pork collar and chicken. I would forego the pork collar and chicken but everything else was delicious. I also love the kimchi stew (jjigae). So much food and reasonably priced. We will definitely be back on our next trip to LA!

Excellent Korean food at reasonable price in trending shopping center with valet parking. Menu has lots of choices, including vegetarian and classic Korean meat. Very busy and they do not take reservations. Seemed on Sunday, average wait was 25 minutes at 7 PM. There is a lovely bar area and plenty of seating while wating for table. All the Korean accompaniments are on table when seated. Staff is friendly , helpful, and efficient. Very frenetic and noisy, though there were may families with small children.

Visited this place with my sister who was having Korean bbq for the 1st time! Loved the ambiance, packed with all types of people that always gives me a good vibe. Service was super fast and very good and the food super good! We had the bulgogi (of course) and the boneless rib (yiami) and it was all so tasty! We had a bottle of Malbek but maybe we should have gone with soju instead - next time :) reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because I believe they can do even better - considering I have had Korean bbq plenty of times in Seoul. Excellent choice though and great value for money!

We chose Quarters to accommodate a large group of friends. The set up was perfect. The food was wonderful. Service was attentive. So many good things it is hard to single out one favorite but the cheeks! Oh the cheeks!

Best Korean BBQ in LA! MAN OH MAN! It's my fave new Korean BBQ spot now. And it's actually more economical to eat here with a group of friends and order a combo versus going to an all-you-can-eat place paying individually as a group...AND higher quality. It does get packed and you may have to wait over an hour or more, depending if you come during dinner rush. Since it's opened all day and late, I'd suggest going at an off time or get there right before dinner rush which is about 6pm. The sides are yummy and endless. The service is casual and humble. These guys and gals work their tails off and Koreans rarely tip well at Korean businesses. This ain't Korea folks. So, it's nice to tip here. For those who don't know, in Korea, there's no tipping usually, except at high-end places. A group of my friends brought me here two months ago and I've been here three times already. My fave Korean bbq spot used to be Chosun galbi, but it started tasting different. There are a few other good ones, of course. Yet, I was very impressed here. Planning to go back next week! Feast!

Best Korean BBQ I have eaten. Large BBQ combo for 3-4persons. Value for money 6 version of beef and pork. The beef ribs was succulent and fresh. U can taste the sweetness of beef and the marination. The aroma was so good that you will want to have more! The buloggi was also fresh and the marination was at perfect equilibrium. Ribeye was juicy. Pork dishes was good but it contained too much fat versus the lean meat ! Only setback on this restaurant is, there is no exhaust system to suck away the BBQ grilling ! Ends up all of us were like walking smoked BBQ human beings and feel very uncomfortable! Environment is very noisy. But food was great and the price was value for money!

Here the waiters cook your meat for you so everything is cooked to perfection. A heap of sidedishes also. The restaurant décor doesn't feel very Korean, its really modern and nice. Easy place for westerners to have Korean BBQ

The place is really nice. The food is great. Maybe a little expensive but worth it. If you go there during holidays be sure to call first!

This was our first time visiting after seeing it on a you tube food show and another show had a kpop band interviewed inside. This restaurant was located in a very tight parking area and only valets can park you car. They were able to pack a lot of cars inside but when full there were street parking but not a lot available. The wait was supposed to be about 45-60 minutes but they were able to seat us within 30. The menu featured a lot of different meats (pork or beef) in quarter pound portions. Most averaged in the teens. There were three combos available and we chose the large that consisted of (1) pork belly, loin and jowl and (2) beef bulgogi, belly, ribeye steak and kalbi. It was enough to feed our table of six. The best choices were the kalbi and ribeye. The pork belly had too much fat for our liking. Sides on the table included two types of green salads, a sweet potato salad (very good), raw broccoli in a nice marinade, and an orange colored pancake with onions. When we ordered the combo we also received a bowl of steamed eggs and kimchi soup. Both were excellent. Service was very attentive. The raw meats were quickly delivered and queued up to the side of our table while he cooked each set of meat. Empty plates removed quickly and water bottles refilled as we emptied them. The ventilation at the table was very good and we did not smell too much like BBQ afterwards. Validation of parking reduced our parking fee by $2.

My family didn’t want to leave L.A. without eating Korean BBQ, and Quarters did not disappoint! Two of us are light eaters, so the five of us actually shared a 2-person combo plate with a couple of extra sides. Everything was delicious! Pleasant environment with excellent, fast service. Highly recommended!

Went as a party of 8 after friend and hotel recommendation. Unlike the other BBQ restaurant (we tried Parks), this place served their protein (meat) in quarter portion at a more reasonable price. Since this is our first time to Korea Town for BBQ, we had to learn to cope with the long wait (30 - 80 min), and the smokey ambiance, considered normal for popular BBQ restaurants. We tried marinated beef short ribs (galbi), grilled bulgogi, pork belly, tofu steaks and Korean nacho. All dishes were cooked well, and we ordered seconds of the short ribs and pork belly. Husband and daughter enjoyed the belly and ribs, while friends raved about the nacho. It was a satisfying meal, and came out to be about $30 per person.

This place was recommended to me by a friend because he said the cheese fondue was out of this world. This place is NOT AYCE. There's street parking and a lot as well. You can enter the restaurant from Alexandria St. We came around 3:30 when it wasn't busy which is perfect because I hate waiting in lines. We were immediately sat and our server gave us our menus and our waters. Since it was my first time there, I asked the server for recommendations and he mumbled something and then walked away. So that was really no help. I went with the combo II which included Kalbi, bulgogi, pork jowl, pork belly for $57.99. It's enough for two people but I think it's enough for 3! Also came with steamed egg, your choice of Kimchee or bean paste soup and I chose the Kimchee. Side dishes came out - my favorite is the Kim her pancake and whatever sauce the broccoli was in was delicious. We also added an order of tongue to our order. Type cheese fondue was great but not to die for! Pork belly - probably my favorite thing that we ordered Pork Jowl - could've used some marinade. Tasteless Kalbi - too thick and a bit too chewy. Tongue - also thick Bulgogi - the server overcooked it Kind of disappointed in this place. Even though service was fast, they could've at least smiled! They were just so cold and acted like they didn't want to be there.

I'm just saying that I would like to return to LA, also to have dinner again in this cool restaurant!! They don't take reservations, only "physical" queuing. You get there and leave your name on the list but the wait, sometimes quite long, is really worth it... In the center of the table you will find a barbecue and already some typical things to eat. Then you order what you want, but the guys who work there are super nice, they give you a hand by trying to make you understand what to eat 🤣. Truly delicious food and prices in line with the city! In truth, the two of us spent around $150 including tip, which to be honest, are the same prices I find in the Sicilian city where I live!

They know when to flip, they know when it’s ready. Consider as a show. And food taste good! Must add the cheese!

One of my favorite Korean BBQ in the area! Came here late Saturday night around 11pm and it was packed!!! Had to wait about 45 mins for a table for 2. Highly recommend the Premium Marinated Beef Bone-In Short Rib!!! The Beef Brisket is good too! They give a decent amount of banchans (complimentary sides) and the Steamed Egg Soup was really good.

Our hotel (Normandie) recommended Quarters and we weren't disappointed. Never having had Korean BBQ before I was a bit leery about what to expect. This restaurant/bar was packed with locals and tourists. It wasn't long before we figure out why. Our waiter walked us through the process of what we were eating and how to eat it step by step. I loved the food and my husband who is not as adventuresome food wise found it good. Our waiter recommended a dish that included several meats for my husband and I to share. I enjoyed all of it very much, my husband loved the beef. Yumminess to the Maxiumus!

Was taken here by my friend and his fiancee who happens to be Korean. The attention to detail, succulent portions, awesome music and authentic atmosphere. For a moment I forgot I was in Los Angeles. Highly recommended, officially on my list of things to do every time I visit LA.

First Korean BBQ for a long time. We had a 30 minute wait for a table but then service was very fast and we were eating quickly. Superb service, informative and not intrusive. Great value for money and excellent variety of mains and side dishes. Enjoyed the atmosphere. Highly recommend..

Visited here on 09.21.25 with a friend. The place is located in the heart of K-Town, but parking can be tricky if the paid lot is full. This was my first time here. The place was nice, and has an outdoor area where you can have drinks while you wait to be seated. We waited approx. 20-30min and were seated near the back. Because it was a Sunday the place was kind of busy. We ordered the Beef combo and a side of Kimche fried rice. The rice was good, but we asked for egg on the side and it was still put on top of the rice. The meal came with soybean stew which was tasty, and vegetable skewers which were just a few random veggies strewn on the grill. Our server was not very friendly. I dont think she smiles or said one word to us, and she never asked if we wanted anything extra, and for this reason, I only gave it 4 stars because I actually did like the place.

When you change chefs, make sure they are trained the way the old chef used to do it!!! So they changed chefs here at quarters and the cuts have definitely been changed. Whether it be the reason that this new chef wants to show the owners he can cut food cost, they are messing up pretty bad. I've been here about 7 times and it's like most Korean bbq's, in the beginning they put out great quality meat and great cuts but it just seems like they want to cut corners or they don't know how to cut/marinate the meat. We literally left an order and a half of meat cause we thought it was disgusting and couldn't finish it. So to wrap things up... DONT BELIEVE IN THE HYPE *mic drop* Don't want to overcrowd my favorite spot, but go to Agassi... Been there 10+ times since December it's so good...

Quarters is hot! Be prepared to wait anything from 45min to an hour and a half for a table and when you get one be thankful! The food is very good and atmosphere great but don’t expect friendly helpful staff. The price is reasonable and cocktails good. There is a bar area to wait and have a drink while you are waiting for your table

Party of 7 ? Korean BBQ ? How can it be possible to make it without spliting in 2 tables ? Well Quarters is totally adapted for families with large tables. Since it was the 1st time there for all of us we did not quiet know what to expect, except for the good reviews we have seen. When you arrive you have to wait few minutes till they set your table with 1st course and many delicious korean side dishes and when seating you already feel welcomed in this place. At 1st our waiter wasn't as warm as we expected but he wasn't that bad either, it was like he had preconception on foreigners trying out Korean food because K-POP is all over the place in the US at the moment, even though our journey was based on going to the BTS concert lol ! Without even thinking on asking for suggestions I placed the order for my family by picking the most expensive meat they had and of course the famous Bulgogi, and since I am vegetarian I ordered myself a Steak TOFU and shrimp. After finishing the 1st course, the waiter brought us a meat and tofu broth and a delicious fluffy steamed egg pot with rice and the 1st meat. Why do I say it is the perfect experience ? It is because the waiter cooks all the meat for you ! They know exactly how to cook it and they cut into pieces for you, all you have to do is grab the food from the grill. And then the STEAK TOFU came in, that's when the experience hit its climax, I don't know how or what but this dish is heaven to your mouth, wether you hate or like tofu this thing is totally Switzerland. While eating vigorously the food, BTS new hit song went on, and my 2 nieces started to sing in Korean, that is when our waiter started to be less uptight and started to joke a little. As for the bill, it was worth our money, you get quality food at a fair price. I Highly recommend this place, it is modern, stylish, well located, and most importantly the food is freakingly tasty !

Great time wife and daughter had never had Korean BBQ. Service was outstanding and food was exceptional and tasty. The place gets real busy I would suggest on a Saturday night get there at 5:30 as the wait was about 45 minutes. They cant wait to go back.

This is a recent opened restaurant in the crowded Korean Barbecue of Koreatown. That being said it was a good meal with excellent service. Your entire party needs to be there to,be seated. As soon as we sat the side dishes arrived. One server takes your order and then other servers cook your meat and vegetables. The cooks come around often as the meat cooks quickly. The meat when ready is sliced for bite size portions. The rib eye was very delicious as was the spicy pork. The meat cut off the bone was a little chewy. We enjoyed the meal as you got enough of each selection so we’re ready for the next one. The side dishes are many with spicy rice vegetable, vegetable pancake and tofu with two salads. The only difficult part of the dining was the loudness of the TECHNO music blaring for 2 hours. Tables are set twos with another group sitting next to us. I thought it was enough room that we did not disturb and they did not disturb us either. The price for four with 20% tip was $150. The meat was excellent quality and tasted good. I thought the price was good and recommend the restaurant. I would go again. Valet park with validation at restaurant making the parking $5.

Excellent, original Korean Barbeque in a cozy yet cool space. The cooking is 100% native (I’ve lived in Seoul several months) and staff is very kind.

This is one of the best BBQ in the Korean town at LA. It was newly renovated and has a lots of options on drinks. I love the marinated short ribs.

We were happy to finally be here and the waitress drop the soup on my friend. They offer something to drink and we ask for wine and they said "NO! Just soda" and they ask us to leave just when we ask for something to drink. They brought us the check 3 times while we were ordering to drink. I was going to pay and they didn't accept American Express. Is expensive place and they don't accept all payment! Thanks

Really fun and loud atmosphere...Very chic, hip and younger group. Excellent service, taking care of us AND cooking our food. The food was delicious. We had a combo and kimchee soup and the egg soup(a must) and it was a ton of food...Very reasonable price for the experience, quality of food, and service.

I love korean bbq, and this was the best place i've ever been too. staff come and cook your meats for you, as well as change the grill after each round. Although staff do not speak much, who cares, they are cooking our food. meat was amazing, and marinated well. the side dishes were really nice and presented well. Note- wait for the weekend/dinner time will be long, so make sure you are willing to queue for upto 2 hours, there's also a bar area while you wait so it isn't that bad.

this is my first time go to high end Korean BBQ restaurant. They have a good service, excellent quality meat (But the marinated meat too sweet for me),good place for dinner with friends also for drink. I love the soup they have.

We here on a Thursday afternoon and the food was great! We went into a food coma by the end. The only bad thing was the staff as “friendly” as they were, they really didn’t pay attention to the tables. We had to keep asking them for stuff such as napkins. And in the end to pay our bill it was the WORST! For some reason the server didn’t understand that the check was split and I had to repeat myself many times. Apart from them trying to charge everything to one card, they also left with all our our cards for more than 10 mins to just come back and tell us what did we want to do with our check🤦🏻♀️ Most frustrating ever.

Lovely Korean Barbeque Dined here 3 Times in 3 months Good service Only problem is they do not take bookings so longgggg wait But it’s worth it Clean open kitchen Tender meats Good accompaniments

I didn't get a chance to go to KBBQ prior to pandemic and not when restaurants were open for a short time. Now that outdoor dining has resumed in LA I am so happy to have it again. It isn't AYCE here, but still really good quality meat and service. The wait was about 1.5 - 2 hours. I came with a group of 5 people and we ordered the Large Combo. It comes with a selections of meats, kimchi soup, egg soufflé along with the banchan. There is no rice paper and serve rice if requested. They also have a bowl of shredded cheese (I've never seen this in any restaurant I'm where I've had KBBQ). My favorite meat was the marinated pork. So full of flavor and the meat isn't to tough to chew. I loved the shredded beef and the kimchi fried rice was also really good. Really though, they had top quality meats and I really enjoyed my experience here.

Order large combo for the whole family of 5,plenty foods, best services, price is very good, love it here

Hands down, my favorite Korean BBQ joint in Los Angeles. When you're sat down, the table already has a full "banchan" set up. Salads, kimchi, sides, and dipping sauces. The cuts of meat they use are only the highest quality. The servers cook all the meat on a grill built in to each table. You can let certain cuts sit on the grill longer to achieve your palates exact preference.

Since I was in Koreatown, I wanted to try Korean BBQ. I hear it's amazing and a great experience. The receptionist at my hotel recommended Quarters. You choose your 'tapas' or your protein that are served in quarter sizes. They bring the tapas and its cooked in front of you on a grill by the waiter. Your meal includes a lot of appetizers and sides that are already on your table such as salad. If you choose 5 or more quarters, you also get soup, cheese fondue and this spicy cabbage thing. That's another thing, their food is really spicy. I don't like spicy food so a warning would've been nice. The food is pre-seasoned when it arrives to be cooked. I ordered shrimp, teriyaki chicken, pork belly and ribs. The best one was the ribs because of the seasoning. The others were just okay. And the more you order, of course the higher your bill is. We paid about $60 for 2 people and it was just okay. In my opinion, you pay mostly for the experience and to say you tried Korean bbq.

I must have driven past this part of 6th street dozens of times but had never known this wonderful place was tucked away in the back. Go early on the weekends unless you want a considerable wait. But it is worth the wait! Kimchee, kimchee pancake, soup and salad and sides were all great but the star of the show was the BBQ. We had four styles of beef and three styles of pork, all perfectly prepared right in front of you on the tabletop BBQ and all fantastic. The best Korean BBQ I have ever had.

Probably the best Korean restaurants in town, food is just amazing, the wine is very good, ambience and music are perfect! I highly recommend this place, It worth wait in the line on the weekends as the food and the fresh meat are incredible!

This place is always packed, because the food is GOOD!!! And, they cook for you. What else can you ask for???

I don't know where to start when describing this restaurant, it's simply one of the best right now in L.A and we simply love it - for lunch, brunch, dinner or drinks. Everything is so top notch in the best quality, from interior to service - and of course, the totally delicious food! A cool vibe, especially on weekends. Prepare for a bit of a queue on Fridays & Saturdays, you can't book a table ahead, but buy a drink meanwhile and keep waiting until it's your turn: you'll never regret a meal at Quarters. Really, really tasty Korean BBQ. With a grill in front of you, the best BBQ master to serve you and so many choices...too many dishes to recommend, so I'll just say: don't miss out on any of the prawns! You might end up not having eaten up because you ordered a bit too much, but no worries: even if the quality is super, the bill won't be sweaty.

Definitely an amazing dinner. I've experienced Korean Bbq many times before my experience at Quarters, but seriously, hands down this place exceed any expectations I had. I've craved Quarters everyday since I've been home now. Wish it wasn't a 4.5 hour flight away for me! Quality meats! Delicious traditional side dishes! Everything was absolutely flavourful! Service was great. Someone cooks your meat for you the entire time, ensuring the quality cuts are cooked exactly as they should be. Our servers and cooks were great. They explained the meats and answered all our questions with a very friendly manner. The place was really busy. We had arrived pretty late at night (10pm) and we still had about a 10 minute wait. I didn't mind waiting as the meal was more than worth it. Free valet parking is available right in front and behind the restaurant. Overall I felt the restaurant was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. We were a group of 6 and they allowed us to split payments for our bill with no problems. I'd certainly go back next time I'm in LA!

Always enjoyed our dining experience here. Absolutely the best korean bbq that we ever have. Prices are reasonable and I like the lively restaurant ambience too.

This is one of the best Korea BBQ in LA in my personal opinion. I been to several different places but I love this place. Like other places in Ktwon they don't take reservation so a wait is expected but don't get disappointed yet. They have a outside patio/waiting area serves drinks! I love this feature. So you can put your name down and wait while you enjoy your drinks :). Restaurant is spacious so the wait is not bad and quicker than you expect. BBQ is great and their fried kimchi rice is bomb too. However, personally I hope they do have some sort of cold noodle dish. I love having noodle after greasy BBQ and its also perfect refreshment in hot summer weather. Every time I visit LA this is one of the spot I always revisit, I can't wait to go back there again.

This was my first experience with Korean BBQ, and I will say Quarter's made it a good one. We walked in and were seated quickly. One downside is we were a little confused on how things worked, and no one really explained it so we just looked at what other people were doing lol. For example, they just start setting things down and I didn't know if was stuff to just eat or to pair with meats. Another downside is that the sides that were brought to the table were very spicy, so beware if you cannot handle spice. When we ordered our meats, we LOVED that they cook them there at the table and it was absolutely wonderful!!!! My husband is a meat fanatic and of course loved it. I did not expect to fall in love since I am not a huge meat eater, but even I was so impressed. We were only in LA for a few hours, and I think we definitely picked the perfect place to stop in for lunch!

The service was awful, the food lacked flavor, and the prices were too high. Never again!!! Long wait!!! Never again!!!

Since the start of the cooking for our table, I had been meticulously saving most of my own meal (which totaled $52) in a bento style to-go box for my husband who was at home sick. Our group had been away from our table/outside the door of the restaurant for 30 seconds when I realized I had forgotten my bento box. I ran back inside, but in that 30 seconds we had been out of eyesight, the staff had already thrown it away, and they were very cold/unsympathetic to my situation and offered no help. They could have either tried to wave me down while I was still lingering in the door during that brief moment, or held off for just a minute longer before tossing it, but it was one of the first things they immediately threw away from my table. They didn’t want to offer any help, in person at the restaurant or over the phone when my husband called. Taco Bell has been more helpful in unfortunate situations with an order, and I paid $52 for that bento box. Porto’s Bakery has done more to help when I’ve called saying they left off a $4 pastry from my to-go order. I was extremely disappointed by how dismissive and unaccommodating the staff were to my problem. Won’t be going back.

We were a party of four adults and two kids. So we ordered their Combo for four and ordered some other sides like jumbo prawns and chicken. Over all the food was very good and it seemed like a very busy place. By the time we left there were quite a few people waiting in line outside to get in. The service was not very friendly but was adequate.

My daughter took us here for our first Korean BBQ experience during a recent visit. What a fun and delicious dinner! After waiting in the very comfortable outdoor lobby area with a beer in hand for about a half hour, they seated us next to the window with 2 other groups at a long table. They explained how the ordering and cooking works (they do all the cooking and tell you when the meat is ready to eat), and then we started mixing and matching various side dishes and condiments with the chicken and beef that we ordered. The atmosphere is hip and lively (a bit loud for us old folks), but it felt very L.A. and there were people of all ages, ethnicities, families, and couples--very diverse crowd. We loved it!

The ambience and food were fantastic but our server was very sick. He clearly felt miserable and had a fever... at one point, we saw him on the side of the room pressing a cold bottle to his forehead and taking medicine. Ill people should be told to stay home! Its horrible for them to have to work and dangerous for everyone they come in contact with, especially during this vicious flu season. I wish I could have given it five stars because we loved the experience otherwise, but this was unacceptable and gross.

This restaurant was, by far, the highlight of our trip to LA. The meat is cooked right at your table - all fresh and delicious - and there are ample sides, sauces and greens. Lots of choices, depending on your taste and appetite. We’d never been at a Korean bbq before and the guys next to us helped us out, The service was professional and attentive and have I mentioned that the food was OUTSTANDING?! You must try this place - fabulous!

Recommended by my cousin who is a foodie and into the nightlife scene. Street parking was difficult even on a Monday night but garages are available for pay throughout LA. The ambience is spectacular. You enter from the sidewalk down a long outdoor corridor and find yourselves in the courtyard square between buildings on the inside of the block. Brightly lit, lots of activity between a few different restaurants. We got drinks at the bar while waiting for our table. We ordered typical Korean BBQ to share, all was fresh and tasty. Weather was perfect for outdoor seating and we enjoyed every minute of the evening. Great space for young adults to gather, large groups for family or friends.
Clean, fresh good quality food
Fabulous traditional Korean BBQ, served with a smile and plenty of yummy sauces. Loads of sides, high quality meats, we ate the bullgoki, short rib and rib eye. Loved all the accompanying sides and mostly the clean delicious food.
