Ate here twice in two days

By Barb k |

Visiting Seattle Queen Anne area, and had breakfast here two days in a row. First day I shared crab eggs Benedict with my husband. Second day he told me we could not share it we had to each order our own! Very yummy!!

It's about as plain as sand

This place is the rental car of restaurants...it does nothing wrong...but nothing quite right. It is not a destination spot. More like " let's go somewhere and just grab a bite" where there is never a wait.

Excellent food, endless coffee

My partner and I stayed a short walk from this place and ate breakfast here twice. Prices were reasonable, portions generous and the staff were very friendly.

Still salivating!

Great laid-back, wholesome dining spot and thankful for my friend's recommendation. I witnessed young families, groups of friends and lots of satisfied smiles on diners faces. My breakfast prosciutto mushroom omelet with just the right amount of hollandaise was so incredibly delicious - I've been craving it for days since my visit. Great assistance from our server to narrow the selection from the extensive menu. Great food! Great service! Looking forward to returning on my next visit.

Great breakfast in Queen Ann

We had a wonderful breakfast....make sure to inquire about the daily specials. Wait staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Standard american diner

Zero décor/ambiance. Service is meh. But the food is consistently OK, and it's also pretty cheap. This is the perfect place to eat if you don't want organic arugula steeped in vegan radish-infused kombucha. It's just plain old good food. Burgers and fries are good.

Breakfast and Fresh OJ

The breakfast food was amazing and the service was fun and attentive. The fresh squeezed orange juice was some of the best I have Ever had and that’s saying a lot since we are from Florida.

GREAT PLACE TO EAT!!!@@

This is the kind of restaurant that serves the feel good food of the past. It reminds me of years past where you could get a great breakfast, burger, cup of coffee and just feel good. The service is great and the staff is friendly.

Enjoyed Our Breakfast

By Mahoo95 |

Our small party of four ordered different breakfast items...straight forward, daily breakfast menu selections...all were good...the outstanding item was the bacon...crispy and meaty. Other food items did not disappoint. Wait staff was attentive...kept the coffee cups full. If you are in the Queen Anne area and don't know where to go for breakfast, I would suggest the Queen Anne Cafe.

Breakfast delight!

Totally wonderful breakfast fare! The omelettes here just may be the stuff of legend. There is a full bar here and coffee so good that you will want a refill.

Awesome Breakfast

By John S |

On Saturday, Dec. 7, our family visited Queen Anne Cafe for breakfast. The hashbrowns that came with every meal were perfect in both size and deliciousness. While two of our party had amazing omelets, the third member had huevos rancheros which was equally outstanding. The next time I am in Seattle, this will be my restaurant for breakfast, they have great service, excellent portions, wonderful choices, and deliciously prepared meals. Thanks.

Family-friendly and reasonably priced

By Chloesfriend |

Ideal place for families in the Queen Anne neighborhood. Many options, from salads and burgers to full dinners. Offers a huge variety of great omelettes all day long. Not fancy, but comfortable. Good service, enormous portions.

Friendly family restaurant.

My boyfriend & I have eaten many times at Queen Anne Cafe. Jim always orders the same thing and they will start cooking it as soon as they see him. If they see him walking on the street they will even come out and ask him to come in and eat which he readily obliges. We love the staff and find them very friendly and accommodating. My favorite breakfast items are the Spinach Omelette and the Strawberry Waffle. For dinner I love the Sole. It is comfort food at it's best.

Good breakfast!

By Trek89290 |

Very comfortable seating and most friendly staff, checking in on us just the right amount. Had the home omelet at 11:00 and it was both delicious and filling. Would come back.

Service was great - Everything Perfect

By Chris500 |

My friend and I had breakfast here this morning, October 13, 2014, and everything was great. It's a typical American breakfast, but the waitress was very nice, had a great personality and smile and she was prompt and attentive. The food was cooked perfectly to order. I found this place just driving by on my way out of Seattle. It's easy to find with plenty of free parking on the street.

Standard place, family friendly, happy staff

By ChristinePDX |

Decent breakfast and coffee. Happy staff who have been working there for a long time. No gluten free pancakes or things. Easy place with kids. Enjoyed our time and would go again.

Nice Breakfast

By binkley007 |

We met friends here for breakfast and it was lovely. The California eggs benedict was flavorful. Great local restaurant.

Our "go-to" spot for brunch.

By ShelleyG33 |

When my family travels to Seattle we always try to get here for brunch. The servings are large, the food is delicious and the staff is friendly and attentive even on busy Sunday mornings.

Very good dinner!!

Have eaten here a couple times and have had great food and great service. It's a very quaint spot on Queen Anne Hill. Only bad thing is it is hard to park up there. Oh well.

Two perfect breakfasts

By funsville |

Trudged up Queen Anne Hill to this fabulous cafe twice on my recent Seattle trip. The first day I wanted pancakes. They were quite literally perfect. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside and just a little bit sweet. The next time, I got the eggs benedict and the Canadian bacon slices were doublethick, the hollandaise was spectacular and the eggs perfectly cooked. I got it with a side of fresh fruit, but you can get hash browns if you'd prefer. Our server never let our coffees run out and was so accommodating and friendly. I would absolutely recommend it. Both meals were winners.

A nice neighborhood hang-out

We enjoy breakfast here frequently. Service is friendly and fast, the portions are generous, and the meal invariably gets our days off to a good start.

Great breakfast

By Karen M |

We stopped off here for breakfast before heading to the zoo. It was a sweet little spot. The coffee was delicious and they kept it coming. We had the traditional breakfast and it was yummy. It was a great meal and wonderful service.

A neighborhood gem

By Wes D |

Good food, outstanding service. The type of diner that holds neighborhoods together - and the antithesis of an instagram-obsessed zeitgeist. For those of us who just want a sandwich and coffee without 3 descriptive adjectives preceding each ingredient, this place delivers.

Casual Atmosphere

By freesparrow |

The atmosphere is very casual, but the food is quite good and the staff is very friendly and enjoyable to talk to.

Great breakfast

By Geoffrey W |

Great breakfast! Good food, outstanding service. Erin, our waitress, was tops; cheerful, engaging and hardworking. Hope the know what a gem she is!

Great country style breakfasts.

By FirstNanook |

The food was excellent! My daughter who lives in Seattle recommended this restaurant to us. We decided to take her, our son and his girlfriend there for breakfast. The service, however, was poor. The waitperson was eager to get our orders and get us out the door. She later informed us that a large party was coming in and needed out table hence the eagerness to get us out the door. We were visiting as a family and wanted to stay and visit but this request precluded hat desire. She was given a 15% tip but deserved less or none at all. By the way, go to Starbucks next door and get your coffee because their coffee is swill.

Good breakfast

By Trav_LN_now |

Stopped in for breakfast on a trip to Seattle. Food was really good. I had the veggie scramble, and my sister had eggs, pancakes, sausage and bacon. Just your average breakfast place. Coffee was real good, just like all coffee in Seattle proved to be on this trip, no surprise.

Not a First Choice

By 410Carol1956 |

This place has the potential to be great, but the food and ambiance falls short. They need a little redecorating and an upgrade on both the quality of their food and the choices.

Top service and taste!

By Roberta |

The server was busy but we were well taken care of. The food was fresh and tasty. The atmosphere was old school diner, which we loved. The Mediterranean scramble was outstanding.

Great Omelets & Sandwiches!

By MaineGuy777 |

This is a clean, large, and attractively decorated restaurant with excellent food! The spinach and feta omelet ($11) was prepared well, and was loaded with the ingredients. I also liked the accompanying hash browns and 9-grain toast. The chicken pita wrap ($12) was equally terrific, with lots of meat and tangy tzatziki, and it came with a cup of very good chicken and vegetable soup. And the service was quite good, as well.

Good Breakfast

We stopped for breakfast on Oct 27. Plenty of seating. Food and service were good. Standard menu. Seemed a bit on pricey side.

Nice little coffee place

Stopped for coffee here and it waseems a nice touch. Friendly staff.Limited outdoor seating, but that makes it more quaint. Bookstore adjoins it. Very nice.

A local breakfast favourite

By mmkwong |

The Queen Anne presents as a quiet unassuming greasy spoon, set in an area of trendy shops occupying old store fronts far from the tourist crowds. Stepping inside on our 1st visit, we were pleased to see that larger than expected dining area was bright and tidy. The food was certainly far beyond greasy spoon fare. The servers were busy, but efficient and friendly. I've sampled the fare for breakfast on 2 occasions having both the omelet and scramble, and both were large and tasty. They came with a generous serving of hash browns, excellent whole grain toast, and fresh fruit. Coffee (as usual in the northwest US) was good and unlimited. A table mate had the "chicken burger", a large moist grilled chicken breast nested in quantities of lettuce and condiments. I might have changed my order had I seen this before ordering.

Queen Anne Cafe Review

By Marinna M |

The staff here are very friendly. This is a place I frequent with my family. We love to hear new suggestions from the staff while also sticking to our usual order. The location is great because you can walk down Queen Anne Ave just after or before you eat and take a look in the shops down the way.

Good place to eat

By Brenda C |

We were able to walk to the cafe for breakfast. We did not have to wait and it appeared that they have regulars. The food was tasty but served on cold plates. A fettish of mine that to keep food warm, warm the plate!

Good Quick Breakfast

By ShelbyB15 |

The menu lacks creativity and the ambiance is more that of a cheap chain restaurant. Still, this was the perfect stop for a quick breakfast during our time in Queen Anne. The omelettes we ordered were large and came out quickly. The sides of hash browns and fruit were much larger than we expected. If all you're looking for is a quick, standard breakfast, this is a good place to stop.

Expensive for the quality.

Expensive for the quality.

Great breakfast place

By CycloneJoe |

No frills, nice and neat but nothing fancy. Had breakfast on a weekday to avoid the weekend crowds. The blueberry french toast was excellent, same for the omelettes. No scenery, just a cafe but better than a McDonald's!!!!

Stick to the Breakfasts

By LokiVan |

The mushroom burger with cheese had no taste at all, the avgolemono soup was ok. The breakfasts looked good. A little overpriced too
