Dinner recommended..

We were recommended this restaurant. Very nice, great food, kindness of waiters even too almost. Really close to perfection. Maybe a little expensive but still great.

Chick, trendy and good menu

By Rafael C |

It was Thanksgiving dinner, not too many offerings for dinner, until we found this trendy place where not only they had the typical holiday meal but a full menu; we had both and there were extremely good. The place has a trendy modern architecture and the environment and service are superb.

Great Experience

By Viana411 |

This is a great restaurant either for locals or for tourists. The food is excellent as well as the service and presentation. If the weather is not too hot try eating outside, great ambiance...you will love it.

Great Food, memories and ambience!

By Leti |

I love La Huella, I'v been there in Punta del Este, Uruguay, which is literally on the beach. Even this one is inside a building it had the same energy, and great food. I had a "cerveza Pilsen" and the catch of the day with smashed potatoes! Absolutely incredible, not only the taste but the presentation. The waiters were very nice and accommodating. One of my favorites restaurants in Miami.

Epic aniversary dinner

By Javieth D |

Awsome place; the elevator gives you a trippy ride up the restaurant. Its labeled as uruguayan; we a grilled seabass which was in another level, spagetti with lobster...the place just make every taste bud work!!! Highly recommended, awsome spot, exellent service!!

Perfect

By RGN_7228 |

Food was just amazing, everything was great! Service was impeccable, our server took great care of us without being intrusive. We stayed a long time since we had not seen each other in a while and we never felt pressured to leave. Music is great, decor is nice, wine selection is adequate and the food is the star, as it should be. I will definitely be back!

Five Stars

Miami spice menu is amazing, Great work to the entire team and to chef Ivan who is the chef de party , he truly goes above and beyond and made my night amazing ! Cant wait to return !

Decoration

Beautifully decorated restaurant. Food selection is nice and good to paladar. As usual very expensive, like every fancy restaurant in the Brickell area.

This is an outpost of an Uruguayan restaurant. The place is beautiful and the ambiance is very nice. Great lunch menu, the pizza and salad were excellent.

Business diner top

Last night we had a business diner at the East. Bufsla, tuna avocado Steak or sea bass Vulcan chocolate Italian red Excellent service

Very slow to resolve problems

By Leslie V |

The food is good but it is a shame they take long to resolve a problem on their favor. I was there on Saturday and I was charged 3 times the same amount on my debit card, which I understand it is a mistake, the problem is that I spoke to a manager who said he will check and call me back and never did , I called and left a message today, and I still waiting for someone to return the phone call and the extra charges as well……. Shame on you 👎

Great visuals/atmosphere but botched food

By ChrisTravellerUS |

If this was a bar, would be 5 stars, but alas they serve food… badly. Fish wasn’t cooked, sent back, steak was ordered rare but delivered medium/well, sides had crispy charcoal. Not a good experience.

Excellent food amazing service!

By Poncho de Anda |

Last night I had a true amazing food experience while visiting this hidden Miami treasure that can be found in the Brickell Area. When you think about a PARRILLADA the first thing that comes to your mind is Argentinean steaks, but no, that's not the truth! This Uruguayan restaurant offers a unique experience and shows you that their parrillas are a serious thing when you talk about steak houses. Enjoy their wood fired parrilla with simple but very rich plates that are full flavor. Delicious!!!!!! A great atmosphere, with really cool decoration and an excellent service.

Incredible restaurant

By Edith G |

We visited the restaurant with another couple of friends and spent an amazing time. The place has restaurant, bar and another bar around an attractive grill. The floor, walls, light, plants, all the decoration is beautiful, in a “campestre” style. We ordered jamón crudo with burrata, ravioli with tomate and basil sauce and red snapper a la plancha. For desert, a delicious and indulgent volcán de chocolate. All the food was very good but the place even better. It is expensive but it worths it. I would recommend to go without kids. The service is good. On the top of the building there is a must go bar”Sugar” to enjoy a drink while watching a beautiful view of Miami.

Another Stellar Miami Dining Spot

By wolfman07 |

I took my wife to Quinto La Huella for her birthday dinner and it was spot on! Located in the East Hotel at the Brickell City Center in the heart of the vibrant Brickell area, Quinto's dining options are as plentiful and varied as its menu. With outdoor terrace dining, dining under air, sharing tables, bar seating, and high tops, a reservation is recommended, but a small group can squeeze in somewhere on most nights. Quinto also has an All Day, Chef's Table, Sushi, Breakfast, Lounge, Pool & Deck, and Social Hour menus. I started with a Caipirinha and it was so tasty that I had a second (planned to have a glass of white wine, but sometimes you have to pivot)! We ordered off just the Chef's Table menu and had the pulpo a la plancha (octopus a la plancha, potatoes confit, paprika), Entrana (skirt steak) and the special fish of the evening which was Chilean Seabass. All three dishes were cooked to perfection, perfectly seasoned and delicious. The dessert options were creative and enticing, but at the end of the day one stood out above the others--volcan de dulce de leche (Dulce de Leche Volcano) and it didn't disappoint. Overall, the atmosphere was perfect, the service was exceptional, and the food left me wanting to go back for more. No matter when you go or how you choose to dine, you are likely to enjoy a visit to Quinto de Huella!

First and Last Visit-Poor service

By mmarino37 |

Food was not up to our expectations. The waiter seemed to be distracted and lacked professionalism considering this is $$$$ restaurant. The restaurant was fairly empty and we had to be flagging him down to get water and a fork. Not impressed at all.

Nice outdoor setting... But not on your birthday.....

By Robert B |

As La Huella is of the newest restaurant in Brickell, sp my wife insisted on dining here for her birthday. As such, i made a notation when i made my reservation thru OpenTable. Figured, to double check, so i call the restaurant in the morning of her birthday, to once again make sure we made the celebration special. Hostess told me, not to worry, they'll take care of it. Wanting to make sure all went 'as planned" when we arrived, i pulled the hostess aside and reminded her of my wife's birthday. Again, NO WORRIES will take care of it, and well celebrate when your desserts are brought out.. OK so with all this planning, you'd think all would be taken care of... NOTHING, when i asked waiter what happened. He could only come up with "SORRY I DID NOT KNOW"... VERY DISAPPOINTING. In as much as the restaurant comped desserts and apologized, the damage was done...

Host is rude, but food was delicious!

By Lua F |

We had made a reservation 2 weeks in advance. When arriving we had to look for the host cause she wasn’t at the entrance and ended up saying she didn’t have any table for us. She was rude, so this was the first impression. After complaining the manager settled up a table for us. Food was delicious and the restaurant is nice and cosy.

Excelente!!

By Carolina R |

Excenlent food, service and ambiance!! We sat inside but there is a terrace that looks awesome!! The drinks where also great!!

Amazing Service

By beachbear8 |

Hubby and I stayed at East Miami 5 nights. We went here twice. This place is so amazing. The bartenders were so attentive and nice. We were in town for my birthday and they made me feel so special each visit. We had the happy hour menu each time. The octopus and picture of sangria was my favorite, however, I must say the lobster spaghetti had a ahole lobster in it. My God, it was spectacular. Next visit, if service and food is this good, we won't leave the property. Even when crowded, the bartenders were still attentive to us. We loved it. So many nights I wish I was there again.

Disappointed

By Laurastanga |

Normally, I like to write good and positive reviews, but this time it’s hard! The location indoor is cool, but outside is super dark. We had to make light with the mobiles. My chair was broken. We asked for a Gaspacho and it was super salty. We asked to replace it and they said that they could not as the entire batch was the same. Honestly, in an expensive restaurant you can make fresh gaspacho if you want in few minutes. Very disappointed. They replaced it with 3 very little empanadas, when the waiter before, instead, told us that the empanadas was a complementary welcoming bite! Service, was not good, we had to waives different times to the waiters before they could attend us. The entrecôte was so hard, and full of nerves. My fish was with bone, and in the total darkness I could have chocked whiteout my mobile lamp. Price extremely expensive for what we had!

Great food, amazing service, beautiful atmosphere!

By LRS3864 |

I was recommended Quinto by a friend of mine for our Mia trip. We had a large party and the table they sat us at was on the roof top and perfect fit for large group conversation. Our server Santiago was extremely helpful with our pickier eaters and recommended great dishes for us all! The flow of our service was perfect as it allowed us all to chat and enjoy a cocktail before dinner. We enjoyed the the simple yet unique options on the menu. Santiago thoroughly explained the items anyone had questions about. Our meals and appetizers were all delicious and we made sure to leave a little room for deserts that were also fabulous! I would dine here again!

Great food and service in a stylish location

By RichBelanger |

My wife and I joined another couple for dinner on a recent visit to Miami and had a delightful evening. Food was very good, service was friendly, and the waiter suggested an excellent wine. The swordfish special was excellent. It was a Friday night and the restaurant was very lively but not too crazy. Reservations would seem to be essential.

super tasty

By Mark |

super good place highly recomended, the service was amazing and the food perfec timer, the wine was great temperature store.

Much more smoke than meat

By Aldo M |

Totally overpriced for the quality and portions they serve. The service was a little bit pushy to order more and more. We went a couple of times and the experience was the same. Save some money and the aggravation of poor eating. Avoid this place

Great Expectations, Very Dissapointing

By Adolfo S |

Hello, One of my best friends has been bragging about this restaurant and calls him his favorite restaurant in Miami. For my birthday celebration a couple of weeks ago, he invited a group of us to dinner there. From the moment we arrived, no server ever showed up to greed us. After almost 30 minutes, the hostess decided to take care of us while the waiter became available. That never happened. We never saw a waiter and felt rushed by the hostess, who was also taking care of sitting other tables. The bread they serve was not what my friend had described. Although the menu is limited due to Covid, half of the short menu was unavailable. We order from what was available. The side orders are expensive. We ordered the potatotes which was nothing, but boiled potatoes and it costs 10 dollars. The price of the steaks are around 58 dollars and they size did not justify the price. My friend got up from the tables many times with embarrassment asking for a better service. He has built up so much about the restaurant to us, that the disappointment he and we experienced made it a very unpleasant celebration. With the food arriving very late and steaks you could taste has been sitting somewhere and 400 dollars later, we left. This is not longer his favorite restaurant and for the rest of us who went for first time will think twice before going back. You can do many other restaurants in Brickell that offer good service, good food and a lot less expensive.

Great food and service in Miami

By RamonEs83 |

This Uruguayan place in Miami is outstanding. We asked for beef and lamb and both of them were delicious. The wine Tannat from winery Garzón is perfect to accompany the beef. Customer service couldn't be better. We visited this place at lunch and at dinner times and the experience was excellent at both times. Our waiter, Olivia, was both knowledgeable and very friendly. I would always repeat the visit to this great place at Brickell Miami

Fantastic food, relaxed ambiance

By gonz1974 |

I was at Quinto la huella for a business dinner. Menu was fixed given it was a big group. Service was excellent: food came in fast! The lamb is fantastic! Great selection of wines! I highly recommend the octopus appetizer! The meat is soft and has a great taste! The place is ideal for either a romantic ocasion or for a relaxed type of dinner. The restaurant is located at one of the newest hotels in brickell (east hotel). You actually take an elevator full of lights that seems to take you on time travel! I highly recommend it!

Uruguay gourmet restaurant

By AlexTur06 |

Trendy hotel, good location in Downtown Miami. Beautiful atmosphere, nice decoration. We took a octopus to start, nice and tasty. My piece of beef was fabulous and the fish was great. Service was fast and nice. A little bit overpriced but it's Miami..

Nice local but Pricy!

By Cristina G |

The restaurant is very nice, well decorated but a bit overpriced for my taste. We seated at the bar and had dinner there as well. Not really impressed with my ceasar salad, lack of dressing, and the barman was a bit rude bz he didn´t like the 25% tip we've left for him. So he didn't say bye, not very polite of Bruno's Mar cover.

It was better before...

The food is ok The service need to improve a lot.. The price is ok , service medium... Local is nice , people is nice The menu has a good options...

Disappointed in Miami

By Michael C |

Went to Quintile La Huella with six friends and colleagues last night. After nearly 70 minutes we inquired about our appetizers and were advised that the kitchen was running behind; we asked to skip the appetizers and to receive our entrees. When they arrived, two of the steaks and my swordfish were cold—at least room temperature. The waiter had failed to advise me that the entrees were served without sides and had no offered me a chance to order sides. When we ordered coffees and cappuccinos they arrived at room temperature. The quality and flavor of the steaks and seafood were good, but they were not served hot. Very pretty place but really bad service.

Surprise!

By Gustavo |

Bad service, poor menu have No idea what a Uruguayan style babecue Is! Need to expand the menu! Beautiful deco! That's all

Quinto la huella made my date night amazing! I had come before for lunch with some coworkers but dinner was a totally different thing. Will most definitely come back!

By Jose J |

Well..... This is the way I see it.... Ambience and location 5 stars Service(our server And Icha very good 4.5 star Food really bad.....2 star We ordered like this Sangria(Very regular)2 star Lobster Salad really bad 1 star Cesar Salas 2.5 star Chorizos 1 star terrible Pizza Marguerita 3.5 stars New York Strip 1.5 star. Really it surprise us that a Uruguayan Restaurant was so bad on Chorizos and meat. But in general the food is bad. That is a shame because its expensive. Wine Nieto senetiner was good.

Over the Top !

By MASSIMOCESAREAUGUSTO |

This is my second time in this beautiful restaurant but at lunch this time, and with great surprise that one after taking the table we are served by our waiter Giorgio, the same as a year ago always smiling and professional, all the lunch was impeccable, the ocptopus was tender and delicious but my favorite was the de postre volcán de dulce de leche incredibly fantastic ! We are definitely going back!

Great catch in Brickell

By L3107UKianr |

Fabulous venue and vibe, excellent, attentive service and unique mouthwatering menu. We had the skirt steak, grouper and Uruguayan-style paella - and all were absolutely delicious. Tucked away in an inconspicuous building in the Brickell, but not hidden any longer.

Unique Dinning Miami

By Miami-Tony |

Unique Dinning experience located in the East Hotel Brickell. This restaurant has a sophisticated and relaxed atmosphere with several different styles rooms including a private dining room and open bar sitting. The restaurant is best appreciated in the evening and in the open terrace relaxed candle lit area. Their steaks are phenomenal, you may also want to check out their top floor restaurant lounge called Sugar. Best view in the city.

One of the best steakhouses in Miami. Somewhat pricey, but supported by great food, location ambience and service. Worth tryin

By World Traveler |

Great location at the East Hotel within Brickell City Center in Miami's Brickell area. Nice ambience both inside and outside. Good menu and good wine list selection Gambas al Ajillo for starters a must. Best skirt with chimichurri in Miami this far. Last but not least the Chocolate and apple tarts are delicious.

Summer in Miami .... no air conditioning

By Gustavo C |

When the hostess greeted us she mentioned there was no ambient music due to an electric issue. The reality was that AC was down due to an issue in the complex, as we learnt like 20 minutes after. If you cared about the customer , that info must be shared upon arrival. This is july in Miami: 90 degrees indoors. After like 30 minutes AC started again, but the reality it was uncomfortably hot. Food was good but afterspending like $ 500 and suffering Miami heat .... not to recommend. Management not very concerned... as the heat issue was “out of their control”

Outstanding restaurant in the heat of Brickell

By Matias D |

I found Quinto-La Huella to be an extraordinary restaurant in Miami, excellent in all aspects. The location is very practical if you are around the Brickell Area as it is right on the new Brickell City Center. The restaurant itself in terms of ambiance and decoration are nice, modern and sophisticated. If you can eat in the terrace, that is great as it is very cozy. Service is great. The food is delicious, for the most part Uruguayan style, so they have particular good meat, but all we ate was excellent. Wine list is also superb. The crowed is not so much typical tourists, but rather business people and people going out for fine dinning.

Best Octopus!

By cs3r |

Stopped in for a quick snack after a long flight. I love octopus and they had a nice pan seared octopus dish. It was the best I have ever had ( and I order octopus whenever I see it on the menu).

Special meal special place

We were staying in East hotel and to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary we chose to eat in Quintos. We sat outside which has a wonderful atmosphere staff were extremely friendly and helpful offering recommendations on the menu. The quality of food was excellent and we definitely recommend this restaurant.

Super restaurant at East hotel

By mmcm2016 |

We would highly recommend Quinto at East. Great food, excellent service and massive portions. We will be back!

Great atmosphere and food

By StroafA |

If you’ve visited the La Huella in Punta del Este picture that on the 5th floor of a Miami skyscraper plus add a bit more “chicness” to it. Food was delicious we had tiradito, whole catch of the day and pure de papas. For drinks don’t miss the pitcher of Clerico - not the best I ever had but pretty decent. We dined outside as the weather was pleasant (not sure how the experience would be if it was a very warm night). We will go back for sure.

Avoid at all costs

By Vik |

Horrible food. Tasteless overcooked fish. Tasteless undercooked vegetables. Avoid at all cost. Nothing compared to the original in Jose Ignacio. They should be ashamed of themselves. Service was exceedingly slow and lackadaisical as well. Very, very disappointing.

Good food but expensive place

By ThePoli |

Delicious Argentine style food, with charcoal grill. The place is beautiful and the view even more. It has a bar when you enter for drinks. It has valet parking or next door there is paid parking. Four people without drinks or wine, we spend $ 220.

This is a great place to have dinner. The ambiance is very nice, they have very good food with authentic Uruguayan steaks and other meats (parrillas). A bit pricey but absolutely worth it if you´re a meat lover

Uruguayan restaurant in MIA

Uruguayan restaurant in the Hotel East, with good food, ambiance and service. Reccomend! Very good!!

Poor service and the food was not good

By Jojanneke S |

We had dinner here last Saturday, on the last day of our trip to Miami/Orlando. We sat outside and the place looks great, but unfortunately we were super disappointed about the food. We shared 2 appetizers, which were ok-ish, but really nothing to be very excited about. For a main course we ordered meat, 3 portions to share + 3 side dishes. We ordered the meat to be medium/rare, however, it was served super rare. Like even if you like your meat rare: this was way too red. So we asked for it to be cooked medium/rare, like we ordered. In the meantime the side dishes were getting cold so we started eating those. Potatoes: average. Grilled veggies: undercooked, almost raw brussels sprouts and cauliflower: not nice. When the meat finally came back, it was more cooked than medium/rare should be. Most parts were tough to chew, no tender juicy meat at all. Also the taste we did not appreciate. We know good meat, and this was NOT it. No good chef would serve this. We were all so disappointed on the last night of our vacation!! When the waiter came to collect plates there was a lot of food/meat left. We explained we did not enjoy it. The good thing was: that they immediately sent the manager over to talk to us. The bad thing is: he was somewhat arrogant in his “apology”. He literally said: we always aim for the best but sometimes it just doesn’t turn out that way. Like, what? Then he offered us drinks (which we later had to ask to be removed from the check) and deserts, but only two of us felt like desert. The proper thing would have been to at least remove 1 out of the 3 meat dishes of the bill, if not all 3. Since he admittee they failed. And we hardly ate of it. After asking for the offered drinks to be taken off the check, I politely asked if they could change the 18% tip (that they had decided for us) to 15% since we really did not have a great experience. Even the 15% felt like way too much, but OK, it’s the US and their awful tipping/bad salaries system. The response was THAT THEY COULD NOT DO THAT. I MEAN SERIOUSLY. That was so ridiculous. Anyway, they “compensated” by removing a water bottle from our check, but the moment was gone. AWFUL place.

Gorgeous Latin resturant in Brickell

By Astrida M |

On Sunday evening, we dined at Quinto's at Brickell City Centre. What a fabulous experience that was, thanks to our wonderful server, Elizabeth, who knows the menu inside and out and made great recommendations for us. She is a treasure at Quinto's! The decor and ambiance at Quinto's were very impressive. Think trees, lots of green foliage, and string lights! Larger wooden furniture with very comfy pillows. We felt like we had arrived in South America at someone's grande estate and were treated like royalty. If you are a steak lover, then you will want to order what we had: the bone-in ribeye steak, aka Entrecote Hueso. It was cooked to perfection, with delicious flavors and very tender! It is big enough for 2 people to share. They bring it to your table and slice it for you if you request it. We did, of course. But before the steak, we had appetizers of empanadas that were yummy, and my daughter ordered the grilled Pulpo octopus as her appetizer. She said it was delicious. For our sides with the steak, we ordered the Papas Escrachada, aka roasted potatoes. Our opinion was that they could've been great and not bland if they had used some salt, pepper, and butter on them to add flavor. The Califlor Adobada, aka roasted cauliflower, also needed salt, pepper, and butter to add flavor to it. It was just ok/bland the way it was, and some people do like it that way. For dessert, we shared the Fondant Dulce de tres leches. It was really good. Elizabeth outdid herself as our server, as well as the other servers, and we are grateful. What a nice evening at Quinto's! We will definitely return again. The food is pricey, so be aware of that, and they do include 18% tip automatically in your bill. You can add extra, though. It's Miami and Brickell.

Love it here!

By lilysmeade |

We had a great experience at Quinto last night. I've been several times before, but this time we had Adella as our server and she made the experience really perfect. The food and drink were amazing- we both had the skirt steak, it is remarkably tasty!!! (I also recommend the flatbreads). Thanks to Adella for phenomenal service and great night! Looking forward to coming back :)

Excellent executive lunches

By Augusto M |

Excellent executive lunches. Abundant and only 35 dollars. More than recommended. It is the old Uruguayan restaurant “La Huella”.

Terrible service - what a shame

By JAFF-MiamiBeach |

The good: the product quality is very good; unfortunately the service was so bad we will not be going back. Our white wine was served room temperature. We asked the waiter to please chill it or bring us another bottle. We were served appetizers but where’s the wine? The waiter said he would get us a glass on the house while the bottle chilled. About 10 minutes later and we were finished with the appetizers and I asked where’s our wine? He said the manager, Christian Mayo, did not authorize the wine courtesy of the house. Instead he says he would bring us mini empanadas on the house. I thought what’s the sense of bringing more food when the problem is we have nothing to drink. I did not say anything. A few minutes later he brought two miniature empanadas and I felt somewhat offended. I said thank you but that’s not necessary. At the end we asked for ice to put in our wine glasses to chill it. At the end of the meal I asked to speak to Christian Mayo who was incredibly nonchalant about my feedback. He said he would make some adjustment to the bill. A few minutes later the bill came with NO adjustments. What’s the point of all the over promising and under delivering? The terrible service does a disservice to the setting of the restaurant and the food which was good. We will NOT return here. I felt taken advantage of and insulted.

Beautiful gem in Brickell

By France R |

Awesome south american restaurant in the East Hotel in Brickell, very well located next to Brickell City center. Amazing food and warmly welcoming bar. We had succulent cocktails and tapas by the bar area before having dinner . Warm atmosphere , cosy furniture in neutral beige and chocolate tones that bring wonderful vibes to this hidden heaven. Don t forget to visit their rooftop bar for an after-dinner groovy end of night!

Terrible- Events managers are aJoke

By Carlos F |

We chose this restaurant to celebrate the high school graduation of our son because of two main reasons: he enjoys to eat steak and this was the signature restaurant of East Miami. I was first in contact with Valeria by phone once I found out about this restaurant. She was a very professional employee and the person in charge for groups and special celebrations at the time. She suggested a preset menu to us that was designed for this kind of group and we picked the meat option. After that, we made a contract, and it included a deposit of half the check ahead of time. Every detail was set up for the graduation day, including that any changes regarding the guests assisting to the lunch will be adjusted without any problem. That day, before the event started, I talked with Christian, the manager, about the guest list and he suggested me a change in the menu because we had more kids than expected. After speaking with him, we started the lunch and when the meal was served, we were all absolutely disappointed. The quality of the steak was very poor, it was a very hard to cut and didn't even follow the cooking term that was requested. The sides were covering the small amount of steak that was almost invisible compared to the mountains of chicken fingers similar to the ones found at any chain restaurant. The whole lunch was a fight for what we wanted vs what the waiter suggested we should do. At the end when we asked for the check, we were over charged. When I tried to explain the mistake to the waiter, he started to speak really loud and called the attention of all my guests. Because I felt really embarrassed and I didn't want my son to feel the same way in his graduation day, I decided to pay by full and talk to the people that were in charge of my event, Valeria and Christian, next Monday. For several days I was trying to contact Valeria without any luck or explanation until they finally told me that she had quit her job. Fortunately I was able to contact the manager ,Christian, who carefully took care of the case and started to process the refund. He told me he will call me back as soon as the "finance department" was done with the transaction. Many weeks passed and I didn't have any news about Christian or a credit under my account and started having the same bad luck trying to contact him by phone. After several days and calls and messages, they told me that Christian quit his job as well! I tried Several calls again until they finally put me with the next Manager in line, who was called Rocha. After explaining the situation to this unprofessional and rude person (who suggested that SOME customers try to steal in his restaurant making up some issues) he approved the credit by phone and not by email. Unfortunately, doing so made it impossible for me to keep any record of the agreement. As before, I was meant to be contacted and the credit will be reflected under my account. Several weeks passed with no news from Rocha and or the "finance department." I had to start another series of futile phone calls once more in order to finally have a professional solution. They put me now with Pedro who was yet another manager. After several calls were made, he promised to fix this embarrassing situation the only information that he got from Rocha was that he never approved this refund! but Pedro kindly promised that he will help me to solve this situation. Months passed by and every time I call Pedro is "not there" and obviously has received the messages but didn't respond to them. Until now he didn't call back at all.

Big disappointment

By AventuraBird |

We went there yesterday for my husband's 40th birthday. A friend recommended me this restaurant months ago, and I thought that for the occasion it was worth to have dinner there. The atmosphere is beautiful. The service is very good. But the food was not so good, it was tasteless and lukewarm. I do not think it's worth what they charge, considering there are thousands of restaurants in the area that people can choose from. Definitely, I will not return or recommend it.

Pretty Average

By Ali Travel Lover |

Let me first give the disclaimer that I am pregnant so I am probably a little more critical about food. My husband and I had dinner at this restaurant...we stayed at the EAST hotel and the receptionist recommended that we tried it. The ambiance is nice and romantic...we sat outside and it was cool and trendy. My husband ordered the crab cakes to start and the steak as his main course and I had a caesar salad and a whole roasted snapper. We had the pureed potatoes as this side. Overall not a bad meal but I've experience much better.

got into our hotel around 10 and were able to have a reasonable dinner here at 10:30 on a Thursday. handsome establishment with a young and nicely dressed crowd. drinks were wonderful, as was the specially priced chablis (manager's choice) we shared a fish dish, mashed potatoes, bread and crab cakes. worth a try

Pure joy

By Daniele B |

Absolutely fantastic. Food was amazing , the staff friendly and caring. Impeccable. The cheese was pure ecstasy and so was the meat

Do not recommend

By Michael K |

The entrecote or ribeye supposedly from Uruguay was very tough! Furthermore, wondering why it claims to be an Uruguayan steak house if the lamb is from New Zealand and the steaks from the US.

Warm atmosphere, great grilled food

By gmgOc |

We arrived on a Saturday night and it was busy so we could only eat on the patio. The atmosphere outside was wonderful with lots of plants. However, it was cold so the heat lamps were appreciated. We had grilled steak that was wonderful. The drinks were very good. My only disappointment is they had very few side vegetable options. Really only mixed roasted veggies. Would have loved some green options to lighten up the meal. The hostess was delightful, the service felt a bit rushes. The ambiance inside was very cool. Would go again and try sitting inside. Call for a reservation!

Good but not great

By Franya Ruiz |

The location is spectacular and the seats are extra comfortable. We were slight disappointed in the food & flavors. This is South Florida & flavorless food is not what we are use to. Other than that the service was great as well as the atmosphere.

I am surprised people still think it is a good place

By Sandra M |

I keep listening that the place is great and the food is fantastic, so I needed to see it by myself. It was a rainy night and the hostess could not help us on getting a dinner table that was not exposed to the rain and implied that we have to get wet cause there were no other tables, where clearly were many. After waiting for her to "supposedly" looking for a manager to authorize to lower a cover to prevent us from getting wet, we were accommodated by a waiter to an empty and better option table. One of the things I know is to choose a wine accordingly to the ethnicity of the food/restaurant. The waiter was pushing me to choose the more expensive wine, not because of the blend buy probably for the implication of his proportional tip he could receive. when i insisted in the one i wanted because of being a single grape, he rolled his eyes and walked away with attitude. the food was Ok, nothing too spectacular, especially for the price. I found $185 for one bottle of wine, 2 appetizers and 1 main course is excessive. this supposedly famous restaurant is just as many in Miami "overprized and Underserved" Total disappointment and for sure a No-repeat

More than just ASADO

By EmilyMarquez |

Such cool decor, reminiscent of the Southern Cone. A great selection of meats and the best of Latin American barbecue. It’s Avery cool and hip place … very Miami-style. Service was very good and most helpful.

Stylish place, stylish food, appalling service

By Drivexx |

Three of us went, two had seafood starters and one of us ate all the bread which was an excellent and varied basket and luckily, very filling. Our main courses never came. We asked and asked and were given all the usual excuses. After over half an hour we left. The server was very apologetic and comped us the starters. It was really late and there was no other restaurant open in Brickell. It was not a good evening.

Amazing Ambience

By top10Sarasota |

We visited on a busy Saturday evening. The ambience was really breathtaking, the waiters had fun and were polite. Like always we ordered a few different items and extra plates so we can share. The octopus is a must if you like seafood, Tuna is very unusual presented and the peppers give it a nice spicy kick. We will come again and make reservations at their chef table!

Beautiful terrace, meh food

By Huatch |

I had high expectations of this place, the terrace is really beautiful and a very hip atmosphere but food was really mediocre. We had the spicy tuna roll which was really spicy! The provolone appetizer is just ok, nothing exceptional. But what really brought me down was the steak. It was the most expensive dish on the menu and I was really looking forward for a great taste but it was really, really lame. It’s very big, but it tastes like... well, nothing! They charge you the side as well. The steak comes alone in the plate. I had the smashed potatoes which are just ok but really expensive for what you get. Loved the place, not fan of the food. One last thing I really HATE! Tip Is obligatory. They charge you 18% gratuity just because. This is getting worse and worse in the States. It’s really tacky to force you pay a tip. Nothing more distasteful than that. It’s not like I’m gonna walk to the kitchen to get my plate, arrive is part of the already expensive price I’m paying.

Worth every penny

By Marcos Martinez |

Amazing place! Few plates but each better than the other one. For entrance we ate the carpaccio of salmon, main dish was entraña with mashed potatoes accompanied by a Malbec from Mendoza and for dessert volcán de chocolate. I'm sure you'll enjoy an excellent dinner, but I warn you, they'll pay a lot (USD +170 for two)

A special place love the trees

By Andrew G |

In the east hotel in brickell plaza but a world apart. Uraguayan steak house. Bring a chainsaw to cut the steak but very tasty. Superb welcome Fabrizio and tanetia. Great service kareo. Eat outside a real event with real trees. A long way to the restroom downstairs. But a great different value for money experience wines expensive. Well done the designers .

Excellent steak and fish

By Shantaran |

Really pleased we came to this place the food was excellent service as usual impeccable with a great selection of Red wines. There are so many places to eat but I would be really surprised if you didn’t have a great experience here.

Very poor

By ClaudiaRz |

Last time at La Huella was extremely dissapointing Decided to give it a new chance but it fell flat…host spoke a very broken English and zero Spanish, found it very weird Staff not too well trained, running like headless chickens lol The mollejas were undercooked and soggy( the waitress said they looked “espantoso”), the entranias were cooked, the outside soft and moist, but we ate them Brussel sprouts and side veggies were imposible to chew, just an awful experience Nice ambiance, zero coming back chances No alcohol 1 bottle of sparkling water 2 entranias and one veggie 179 USD…

Decor and that’s about it!

By LandOfJuncoville |

This place is not all it’s hyped up to be. The decor is lovely, but the table for our party of 10 was so small. It wasn’t even that there was no other table - this is where they stuck us! I was sitting at the corner of the table and the waiters kept bumping into my chair. Annoying. My husband ordered his steak medium and it came out well done with no salt. The waiter didn’t know anything about wines and the sommelier... well there was none. The mushroom side dish lacked flavor. The two stars are for ambiance, if not we would have given it one.

Best of Miami

Without any doubt one of the most pleasant places to spend your evening at. Beautiful setup and professional happy staff. Will come again.

Amazing ambiance!!

What a beautiful restaurant!! Sunday brunch here is a must try!! The band is great and creates a fun environment to dine in!

Below expectations

By Camilla_Barretto |

I visited Quinto La Huella last October (2017) and had the best Vacio I'd had in a while. I made a point of taking my mother and a friend this October (2018) to delight them and was truly disappointed. Everything was "off". The service was not great, they placed us as an uncomfortable table where our knees did not fit under the table. Mind you, I had two ladies over 70 that were not happy about this. The food was average and we found it expensive for just appetisers. No vacio on the menu and it was a let down. The deserts are unmemorable and we didn't finish ours. Will not be going back to the Miami location - the José Ignacio one is still incredible.

Bad service.

By Gema Z |

Here’s a polished version of your restaurant review that gets your message across clearly and professionally: We’re currently dining here, and unfortunately, the service has been incredibly disappointing. From the moment we sat down, we felt completely neglected by the staff. Meanwhile, a woman sitting just behind us received constant attention from every server, manager, and even other staff members—as if she were the owner of the place. Out of curiosity, we asked our server if she was the owner, and were told she works in the same building. If that’s the case, she should understand better than anyone how important it is for staff to be attentive to all guests, not just those they personally know or recognize. It was frustrating to sit and struggle to get even a drink while watching the entire team cater to just one table. Regardless of who someone is, every guest deserves to feel welcome and taken care of.

Best Continental Breakfast

By Nomad |

I had the best continental breakfast I had for a longtime. Certainly can’t wait to return. Very friendly service!

Beautiful Atmosphere

By Tony S |

Perfect restaurant for romance and dining in an upscale atmosphere. Definite cool vibe. Food: excellent but not exciting. I would have given 5 stars except for these basic service flaws at Quinto La Huella: Serving the men before the ladies. Serving the host first. Asking "Who gets the grouper?". Reaching across the guest to serve the other guest when you can easily serve from behind. Serving from the right. No cocktail napkin under your drink so that the condensation drips on your shirt. Server not very knowledgeable when describing the food. The prices are actually fair. Our entrees were $29 to $36, our appetizers were $15 to $19, and the desserts are $9. Wine by the glass was $12 to $16. $17 for a Tanqueray martini. 18% gratuity is added and the hotel bed tax is also included making the sales tax 9% instead of 7.5%. To the manager: Servers should wear long sleeved shirts. Hairy arms and tattoos are not very appetizing. Families with kids running around the table should not be seated in the middle of the dining room. Better, off to the side. You should have table cloths, even though the decor is rustic. It feels like a cafe'. Summary: Our party of four had a wonderful evening and an excellent meal on a Saturday night. Bonus: Check out the rooftop lounge called Sugar. It has a stunning view of Miami from the 42nd floor.

The best brunch in Miami Quinto !!!

I love this open fire with all the kitchen activity. The cut was good, and the price fair for this place.

Amazingggg food i loved itt ,and the service was fast i will be returning with my family soon muchas graciasss

Don't let go of your drink or the server will take away even if it's full

By Elvira R |

I understand that restaurants are in the business for making money but taking your drink away when you are distracted talking to friends is a higher level of rudeness. We were celebrating a birthday so we where five friends at a table, we ordered drinks, myself a "mojito", I don't drink to much and one drink is enough, that being said I had to order a second drink because the waitress took my glass away, even though it was almost full, so I ordered a second drink and this time I paid attention, she came and tried to take it away again, I had to get it back from her hand, I told her, don't you see that the glass is almost full?

Cool place

By LynnM112017 |

Have been there couple of times for happy hour. The crowd is nice, good service, ok drinks. Food is nothing spectacular but the ambiance and vibe are great.

Entrecôte !

Gregg the host and Sergio our server were fantastic. Highly recommend entrecôte steak! Roasted veg too. Would definitely return

Is not what it used to be... Change chef?

By Daniel F |

We used to go very often to this really beautiful 5th floor patio restaurant. Great bar and ambience and the food use to be very very good. I believe something change at the kitchen. The place is still beautiful, which prevents the zero starts review, but the food was less than unimpressive. Onion pizza was cold and soggy, didn't have arugula available and the Pasta al Forno fll flat. I'm sorry to see this beautiful place fall under the weight of its fame and shortage of skill labor...

Beautiful venue, average food, okay service

By Jose F |

I can sum this up as another "Miami" service experience, you are seated an hour after your reservation and they make you feel like it's your fault even though you show up 15 min early. After numerous visits to the front desk and promised we will get a table - you don't. I will say the manager was nice and brought champagne to the table as a gesture to extend the olive branch. Our waiter David was nice and attentive - easy on the eyes. The food was okay, nothing to write home about. With so many great restaurants in Miami this one is more like a one visit one.

Kudos to Quinto La Huella for a taste of Uruguayan Food and Hospitality

By Arnaldo N |

This was my second visit to Quinto La Huella in less than a year, and once again I was very pleased. From the ambience, to the great culinary delights, and to the wonderful, professional and very personalized service that our main waiter, Alfredo, gave us. The menu selection is good enough to satisfy different tastes, and like they said on their website, the dishes are simple but “made with the best ingredients from land and sea”. Both times I have had fish and both times they were superb. On this last visit I had the Branzino and what a right choice. Alfredo, our Uruguayan waiter, recommended it. The presentation was like and art project, and because it was cooked to the right point, the taste was delicious. Dessert was also exquisite and “decadent “, as it should be when one is celebrating his/hers birthday, like I was. Both, Alfredo and his partner, Felix, from Cuba, made sure that I felt special. Will I go back? Definitely! Do I recommend this restaurant? Absolutely! By the way, the bar area, outside, was great as well. We had drinks there before dinner.

Great Dinner

By Michael A |

Situated in East hotel and loved the outdoor terrace. All the tables are surrounded by trees and plants, creating a very exotic atmosphere. Great food; we shared the Fugazetta pizza, which was huge and then enjoyed the lobster salad and Milanesa steak. Clientele was a mix of couples, families and larger groups. Service very professional, if a bit distant. Would definitely return.

One of my favorite in Miami

By Charlyncy12 |

At the 5th floor of the East hotel in the buzzing Brickell neighborhood of Miami. This Latin inspired cuisine focused on grilled fish and succulent meat never disappoints. Food is delish. Cocktails are excellent. Service always on point. The decor both inside and outside is elegant, warm, very current , very today. The view outside is fabulous and you feel like you are in a garden. I have been there maybe 10 times. Breakfast is great as well

Birthday

By Sandra M |

Beautiful view; but too expensive with no quality at level of the place. Not even courtesy for a birthday ocasion. Too much money for nothing.

Beautiful atmosphere

By Robin F |

Dining terrace is beautiful and has a chic atmosphere but the food seems mediocre. There is couch seating around a table which I’m sure for some it’s great but I would rather not feel like I’m at home on the couch. Had the steak and was excited for a melt in your mouth bite but not so much. Asked for MW and was ok if it was butterflied. Received it charred on the outside and bloody red on the inside, not butterflied. Waiter said it was cooked as asked. Last I checked MW is not red. The tip is obligatory- never seen this before. You are charged 18% whether the service was good or bad.

A bit overpriced

By FausTraveler |

I was in the East hotel recently and I had dinner at this restaurant. The atmosphere was very nice, and the food was not terrible but for the price it was not great. A bit overpriced for the so so taste of the food. Also, the waiters could be a bit more friendlier and welcoming. I won't return.

Excellent food quality and service

By rosalg02 |

We seat at the bar, probably the most comfortable chairs, unless you like the modern concept of bending over your food and seating in couch like seats. I highly recommend the grilled octopus, crunchy outside tender inside sided by potatoes sparkled with pimentón. The bartender service was outstanding. Great ambiance. Good place to go a Saturday night.

GARY BEST BARTENDER IN MIA!!!! HANDSDOWN

By 1TravelnChic |

Sooooo, my girlfriends was visiting from HOTLANTA & B’HAM (ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!) I decided to introduce them to EAST in Brickell! Soon as we arrived they were super excited as the elevators are really wicked!!! Super kool!!!! Disappointed as we were a little too early for the HAWT ROOFTOP BAR!!!! The Manager recommendation was Level 5 Quinto La Huella... OK!!! Nothing beats a ‘FAILURE’ but a ‘TRY’ We were soooooooooooooooooo happy the ‘TRY’ was well worth it!!! Gary you are a SUPERSTAR!!!! Your level or professionalism & attentiveness to our group super exceeded our expectations!!! We frequent every SUPPOSEDLY HAWT SPOT IN SOUTH FL NO BARTENDER CAN MAKE A MEANRITA AKA TOPSHELF MARGARITA LIKE YOU!!!! Thanks & we look forward to many more visits!!!! YOU ROCK!!! You truly made their entire weekend worth visiting East!!!

Delicious! You can't miss it !!!!

By alice2018uy |

So different sites but the same high quality! This was a great dinning experience that could be compared with the same experience of dining at 7.000km away in South America. The high service and great quality were completely transferred and repeated from it's mother restaurant in Jose Ignacio, Punta del Este in Uruguay. Although this restaurant has a different ambience and decoration according to Downtown Miami you can find here a fantastic environment with lounges offering different options and a patio with plants, perfect lightning and a cozy environment that invites you to stay! From the very beginning this experience was enjoyable. The manager invited us to a relaxing visit of the whole location before deciding where we preferred to have dinner and all that followed was superb. Cocktails and food were delicious and each step was better than the previous one. Everything was cared by several kind waiters that were very helpful with their advices and suggestions. We will be back on our next trip to Miami !!!.

2020 New Years Eve

By Ricardo Artola |

Excellent food and excellent attention except by the lady in the reception named Camila that was not polite...

very good dining experience with fine staff

By DVE11044 |

reservations for a Friday night, seated outside, a bit noisy and windy but that was ok, staff was attentive and pleasant without being overbearing, one member of our party was vegan and ordered a pizza with roasted vegetable without cheese - very good!, other members ordered short ribs - EXCELLENT, and steak - also EXCELLENT, wine list is smaller than expected but ok choices, prices were high (not unreasonably high) that was expected, flavors and preparations were spot-on, nice pace to the meal, kitchen gave an unexpected small bite as appetizer that was quite good - even brought a vegan option for that member of the party, recommended

Great Place, great server!

By Sinrumbo |

Good food with a very limited menu. The ambiance is very nice and ask for Alfredo as your server. He is the best! Very friendly and attentive! We enjoyed our lunch choosing this restaurant among so many at the Mall. My pasta unfortunately has been frozen for many months, it was hard and thick. Nevertheless we recommend this restaurant because the staff is so welcoming and attentive.

Brunch

By Anthony P |

I made a visit to this restaurant and the setting was a very beautiful and cool spot. Service was very good and attentive. My mimosas were kept full throughout my whole brunch experience. Those were the good things that I experienced. What I did not like however, is that they do not cater to their customers when asking for straight champagne or actually prosecco instead of orange juice/mimosas. I’m not a big fan of orange juice, but I’m a big fan of brunches and bottlomless drinks when at brunch. I’m an avid brunch goer and all my friends call me the Brunch King, with that said I have experienced a lot of brunches and this is the first time I was forced to have to order the actual mimosas. I also over heard that they took away the sushi that was once at the dessert station. Seems to me that they are cutting corners and trying to penny pinch on food and beverage cost. That’s the impression I got anyways. Over all the though, the food was pretty good, meat quality was good. Will I go back, I’m up in the air about it. Not so sure.

Excellent service in a beautiful restaurant with delicious food.

We went as a group the night before our cruise. We were very pleased with the service and the beautiful restaurant. The food was delicious. I would certainly recommend this place.

I love this place, they re always very welcoming and friendly. The staff are very knowledgeable. Great wines!

Excellent dinner & ambiance; staff very friendly

By LR2N |

We had a wonderful dinner for 6 people in February. The steak was delicious as was all the other food. The ambiance was very lush and tropical; beautiful and comfortable. Our waiter was fantastic and very helpful; the rest of staff were very friendly. We plan to return!

If you have been to the original one, you may get disappointed

By Bruna B |

The restaurant’s location is very nice, however it does not resemble the original restaurant in UY. I believe part of the hype of La Huella is the whole atmosphere, I don’t know if the one in Brickell has the same atmosphere. Beyond that, the food is really good, the decor is very modern and very good service. The price is expensive though. The vulcano de dulce de leche is a must!

Excellent environment with superb service!

By Philip S |

Great food. Excellent space with breezes and full grown trees. Service superb. If good service is 4/5 and great service is 5/5 Then service by Adela was 6/5, superb! Would recommend Quinto to everyone!

No worthy.... horrible brunch.

By LEMB1971 |

The worst brunch in 2018. Just vacio and picanha cuts. If you have an idea about quality then be ready for " Select" or maybe from Sedanos markets. The owner must do improves or the brunch should be closed. Go Biltmore, 4 Seasons, Soho, Epic ... you gonna find the answer.

Poor Service & Avg Food

By MZob |

I normally avoid writing negative reviews however we had dinner in the private area of Quinto La Huella and food and service was extremely poor. The manager shows up with a bit of attitude instead of apologizing. The food was nothing special. Simply another over rated restaurant in Miami.

Great ambiance at the bars

By GrandeSanJuan |

The place is big and it has a wonderful bar. The food was not great but not bad. The drinks are good and the bartenders very nice,

Fantastic

By My_opinion12345 |

Great space, great vibe, great hostess and manager, great food, awesome service by Sergio, fair prices, especially on their wine and a great dinner before checking out Sugar, one of the best roof top bars! We will be back on our next Miami trip.

Waow everything!

By Travel X |

I really enjoyed this restaurant...place is super nice and trendy...attentive staff...excellent food...Octopus appetizer is awesome...the short ribs are also very good...ask for the house chilly sause

Expecting something different

By Carlos C |

The restaurant is OK, though I was expecting food quality as the one they have in North of Punta del Este in Uruguay. I know is not easy to find in the US the meat quality that you can find in Uruguay or Argentina (or Scotland or New Zealand, not feedlot black Angus cattle) but that does not mean impossible, (try Baires Grill in Brickell, at Miami Ave for example). Service was nothing very special. And overpriced, though currently, most restaurant prices in Miami are completely out of control and overpriced.

I have been a lot of times at Quinto, great food, great place and great service from Massimo. It’s always a pleasure.

High Quality Staff and Delicious Food

Great food and service! Friendly, professional serving staff. Excellent buffet breakfast. Fantastic lunch and dinner menus. Food is prepared well and is exquisite. Awesome outdoor patio with tropical theme. Will definitely return!

Not worth the money

By Lisette F |

Very disappointed The place is beautiful, the waiting personnel very accommodating, the ambience young and modern. Everything you need for a special night out with friends. Our experience? First of all my wine glass was not clean. The place is dark so you don’t realize something like that, but the candlelight in the table gave it away. The food’s quality didn’t match the price we paid for. Some of us ordered the Sea Bass, one of the Chef’s specials for the night, and what they served was a “rabirubia” (a small variety of snapper). We know that for sure because the fish came with the head and we had a very experienced fisherman in our party who knows what he is talking about, unfortunately for them. We told our waiter who didn’t offer any explanation and evaded the subject. We really didn’t want to ruin our night so we didn’t press any further. The desserts were ok, nothing special. It’s a shame that a Restaurant with this category fooled the customers in this way. No, I won’t recommend this place. There’re plenty of good restaurants in this city. Don’t waste your money, not worth it. No, I will not come back.

Fabulous Quinto La Huela

By pelangan |

Quinto La Huela, an exquisite Uruguayan cuisine restaurant, in the East Hotel is an experience for the senses. It is one of the most elegant and expansive restaurants in the luxury area of City Centre and Brickell. It has at least 8 different dining areas with different decor and atmospheres which make it seem cozy, intimate and comfortable despite its actual size. The best is the semi outdoor dining area with all the lush landscaping. The service was impeccable, including the expert and warm welcome by its elegant director, Kimberly Lay (she will take great care of you!) The Uruguayan cuisine was excellent especially the fresh fish dishes. Beware that the short ribs are South American style, so they are large, meaty and quite grisly, not the tender velvety variety in the US. But they are excellent if you like that type of meat. The desserts are divine, leave room for any of them especially the cheesecake (we would suggest one per person!) Quinto is ideal for special occasions or a business meal to impress or large group table dinner open air. Both its director Kimberly Lay and its GM (handsome fellow from Serbia) are great hosts and pros. (You can go to the hot bar/loung Sugar upstairs via a separate elevator bank. It's best at sunset because it gets too crowded and noisy late at night).

Excellent Choice for First Timers in Miami

By djs8491 |

We were staying in the EAST Hotel prior to boarding a cruise and chose to eat in Quinto's. We opted for the outdoor seating and we were not disappointed. Wait Staff were attentive, knowledgeable and spot on with food and drink recommendations. Manger/owner gave us a quick tour of his operation with obvious pride of ownership. We would highly recommend this as an option for first time Miami travelers.

Best brunch in Brickell

By LSCaribbean |

Huge buffet with delicious choices. They have a semi separate room where you can carry a conversation but this room is closed during the warm season. You can sit outside or on the main room but when they have a band music is too loud and it is impossible to have a conversation with your friends/family. Not suitable for children.

Brunch and lunch

By ELENAMIAMILOVER |

I really love the place the ambiance is beautiful and you must try the wonderful outdoor garden roof Good menu and i really love at lunch time the salad bar option The service is very good and everybody take care of your needs I visited the place twice for lunch with some friends and i had really a very good experience Brunch was another excellent experience If you love BBQ don ‘t loose this brunch The price is really fair 55$ x person with extra of 25$ for Rose wine or Mimosa Unlimited I really love the brunch buffet and the desert buffet was also excellent i really enjoyed the food and the place

I was expecting a bit more, trendy but food is medium

By TasteSailor |

We have been here with friends. Very nice ambience and good music. Good cocktails, but food is average while price is high as expected. It is a mix menu with south american, but also Italian food. It is a place to see and to be seen, not necessarily to eat well.

Amazing brunch!!!

By dianacampoa |

I had the best Sunday brunch at the quinto ma huella restaurant, the salads, the steaks had the best taste ever. The chef is so talented and the place is stunning! I just love it. I really recommend it, it’s a “must” in Miami

Wonderful dinner

By Marcela R |

Very nice atmosphere. I don't agree with the comments about the service in need of improvement. In our case, there was an Italian waiter with us and he was great. Everything we decided to eat was based on his recommendations- that he made based on what he had asked us- and we enjoyed everything a lot. The negative aspect: prices are quite expensive, and there is a hotel fee which is added in the ticket, plus the service, so it adds about a 25/30 % extra.

A must do for downtown Miami dinner

By on_cape |

We happened upon this place by chance. It was the best service beginning with the host and continuing with all of the servers. Incredible steaks, big big sides that were enough to share and perfect ambiance. A must stop in the downtown area for dinner!!!!

a great place for lunch under a very blue Miami sky

By Herb Moskowitz |

We were staying at The East Miami; and enjoyed lunch on the terrace at what was a great experience. The young waiter was an employee seconded from Parador La Huella in Uruguay. Service very pleasant and The food delicious. We split the burrata with pears. My partner had octopus and I opted for chicken while people complain it is too hot to sit outside the soft winds blowing across the terrace made it a very pleasant experience.

Delicious for both steak and seafood!

By GiselleM |

Simple food, done right. The grilled snapper was perfectly cooked (too often restaurants grill until it's dried out). The bife angosto was delicious as was the lamb picanha. The "volcano" dessert was amazing! We got the dulce de leche, but I want to come back and try the chocolate one!

Inexcusably bad

By Deborah T |

After a beautiful weekend in Miami, this ostensibly good restaurant in an excellent hotel—East—was a terrible ending. We waited an hour for a simple breakfast of an egg sandwich and an omelette. We were finally told they had lost our ticket. When the meal finally came it was almost inedibly bad—and they forgot toast and then forgot butter. We should have known it was a terrible restaurant when we walked in and despite being in the hotel it was nearly empty. Walk straight out of the hotel to one of the great places a short Uber ride away.

WOW

By tinaluzortiz |

it's rare that a South American restaurant, Uruguayan in this case, blows my mind. It's rarer still that my experience there is so good. I have to write about it becouse this restaurant really deserve it for the amazing food and for the outstanding service. The decor of the place located at the 5th floor of the East Hotel in Brickell is super nice. Starter : Octopus a la plancha with paprika potatoes. We opted for this apetizer to share suggested by our waiter . It's been exactly how our waiter described it. Fantastic. Tuna tartare with taro chips. Something so good and so special. Entree : Local red snapper grilled and cow boy steak with asparagus and smash potatoe. We followed our waiter Giorgio, with his suggestions also for the wine and we enjoi a lot a short conversation about the maritage wine and food very knowledgeble . Definely he made our night. Dessert : Dulce de leche, in the reality the best we ever had. The atmosphere of the place is very good and pleasent . The food is first category and Giorgio make the difference to make this place really five stars. We will come back for sure and we suggest to everybody to try this fantastic restaurant. At the 40th floor do not miss Sugar, one of te most beautiful roof bar of all USA.

Adela is the BEST!!!!

By Deanna_Knowles |

It was our first time here and the service that Adela provided us was the best!!! We will definitely come here again. When you come here, ask for Adela, I promise that you will be taken care of!

Adela probably the best waitress Ive ever had

Had a spontaneous dinner at quinto which I go to regularly and a lovely lady called Adela turned out to be our waitress she was extremely attentive and made fantastic recommendations and suggested we try things we never had which were amazing (credit here goes to the chef i guess) over all she made this casual frinds dinner feel very special and memorable. Definitely ask fo her next time you go there. Best service we’ve had in a long time!!

Beautiful!

We went to Brickell city center today lenty of times in the last years but didn’t know that such a restaurant was there: we found out thanks to a new colleague that suggested us some retsaurants in the surroundings. First surprise was the elevator with an incredible mirror with led lights, secon was the beautiful and romantic outside. Sea food was excellent, beef was good and dessert excellent as well. Service was ok and we really enjoyed our time. It is now on our favourite list and we will surely come back.

Superb food, Exceptionally good service

Went for dinner to Quinto La Huella specializing in Uruguyan cuisine and is located in the East Hotel in the Brickell City Centre Shopping complex. We were given complementary bread and 2 empanadas. To start we had tuna tartare $19 to share, followed by mains of grouper a la plancha $31 and organic baby chicken $23 with a fresh mixed green salad $9. The quality of the food and presentation was excellent. One also had the dark chocolate cannoli $9 which was sumptuously rich and delicious. With a very good bottle of Uruguayan tannat red wine $50 and sparkling water $8, the meal for two including service came to $190. As said, the food was excellent, but above all the service by the waitress was exceptional – informative, attentive and professional.

Delightful

Went to quinto la huella with my friends and from the hostess to the server all of them were nice staff, nice food, a little bit expensive but worth it . The only thing is that the opentable systems sucks if you want to make a reservation do it with them directly, next time I will go with my girl and hopefully seat outside

Nice food, amazing dessert!

We went on a Saturday afternoon to eat. Food is very good, staff is super nice and funny, they recommended us the lime tart and it was excellent. Ask for a table on the terrace. The elevators to get to the restaurant are pretty cool.

Outstanding food and service

My husband and I visited twice for dinner- had an amazing experience and decided to come back for Sunday brunch… It takes an artistic mind to combine dishes that reflect different worlds with simplicity and creativity at the same beat. The service is professional and managed at all time. The stylish design allows you to enjoy great food in a relaxing vibe. Highly recommended.

Fabulous food and environment!

I highly recommend this restaurant. The skirt steak, drinks, service and environment is A+! When we're in Miami next time we will definitely dine here again!

Superb food, great ambiance, excellent service!

By Larry S |

It is rare that all aspects of a restaurant are superlative. The food was excellent -- each dish was well prepared and tasty. We dined outside on a 5th floor terrace overlooking Brickell Plaza. The servers were attentive, yet unoibtrusive.

Food is below average, poor service

By Dmitry B |

Can’t recommend this place. High prices for the very low value. Hard and tasteless steak ( surely it was presented as the best by waiter). Vegetables were parched not grilled as expected. When we claimed about this the waiter said he would handle it with manager. No manager, no excuse. Just bill... Really the worst food experience in Miami.

Off the charts!

Quite an experience! From the minute you are stepping off the elevator, you'll be tantalized. We had a drink in the bar, and it was electric. The service there was good (not great). It was the atmosphere that really made the difference. Then, off to dinner. We sat outside, and the weather was sensational. We had a server who was spectacular. Highly attentive. And we ate like it was our last meal on Earth. Fabulous cuisine! We had octopus, a wide variety of meats, vegetables, roasted cheese, more meats, fish, and a superb dessert. Great wines throughout. Would highly recommend La Huella. Especially for an important event. Spent about $125 per person (we went overboard).

Wonderful experience

Beautiful decor. Food was delicious. Not rushed at all. We were there during a thunderstorm and it was cool to see the lightening through the canopy. All staff very polite and attentive especially our waitress Adele!

Too many glitches for the price

By Manatee4Me |

Our party of three ordered three different two-egg dishes for brunch. One ordered simple eggs over medium with potatoes, chorizo and whole grain toast, one had the poached eggs on avocado toast, and one had the eggs Benedict with smoked salmon. The last two were served at the same time with the eggs over medium, but the chorizo came some time later (after asking the waiter) and the toast came after everyone else was finished (after asking the waiter twice). Then two additional servings of toast came out! This is not what I expect from this type of restaurant - the three breakfasts should have been served at the same time with all accompaniments. We were not the only diners experiencing glitches that morning - we could not help but hear a heated discussion between a customer and the manager over slow service and an inaccurate order. The potatoes that came with the eggs over medium were greasy and limp. I do have to say that our food was very good overall, and the fresh-squeezed orange juice was delicious. Still for this price point and nice of a location, I expect better.

Was OK. Brunch was not well prepared

By anabellepaulino |

Came for brunch after the Miami Half-marathon and was expecting a spectacular buffet since it was sunday. Was not pleased for the price they offer. Selection is poor and service takes forever. All you can drink comes with a buffet option but it takes the servers a long time to bring you your drinks. So its clear to see why they make it bottomless- it takes 20 mins to get a drink and the buffet isn't that long.

Amazing

From the lovely decor to the service to the outstanding food this restaurant is a gem in the Brickell area. Ready to go back!

DOWNTOWN MIAMI IS AMAZING

By Gus M |

great place to visit daytime make sure you park at east hotel parking and quinto validates the ticket at host station in quinto rest. but first go for a stroll on the mall its beautiful , 3 buildings that are joined together and no street to cross, on second floor look for a small sign by victorias secret thats the entrance to elevator and yes the elevator is kind of hidden towards the back hall , press the restaurant icon on pad and it will take you to the floor, ask to be seated and enjoy ,we sat at the bar had cocktails appetizers , octopus dish some poke tuna and a steak cut in strips prices for drinks and prices just like everywhere in miami $16.00 cocktails and beer $8 if you choose to sit outside the view is even better and go up to the 40 th floor the miami views are great specially if you live here but have not seen d.town from this view . i saw the brunch on sunday on another visit and it looked amazing

Excellent meat quality, poor service.

By WDsolercia |

We had really good recomendations from friends during our stay at Miami about this place. I have to say that the meat was delicious an outstanding. Specially the "Entraña" was absolutely amazing. In general a really nice experience, until we realize that our waiter, Sergio, offered to other tables tap water, while for us he brought a bottle of Evian which was 10$. I don't like the feeling when service treats outsiders different from locals. I am pretty sure is not the case of all the waiters of this restaurant, because in general people looked quite nice.

A nice suprise

By Pepe Esca |

I wasn't expecting that a restaurant inside a hotel had that amount of space and that kind of nice atmosphere... The food is really good, and the service also complies. If the weather helps, I would definitely recommend to eat "al fresco" at the terrace. Nice place overall!

New Years Eve Dinner

By DKSOHO |

I really don’t want to write this but it is deserved and necessary. My wife and I went to this beautiful restaurant to spend New Years Eve together. I have an allium allergy and made them aware of this when we made the reservation and again when we sat down. We were welcomed by a lovely team and a very kind manager. From there it went downhill. Our dinner consisted of a four course prix fixe, expected on NYE. We were served 3 blinis and caviar as the first course, they were tasty but definitely not memorable and the size of a quarter. The 2nd course was tortellini or risotto and took 45 minutes to arrive, with apologies (we both chose the tortellini). They came with scallions on top so I sent mine back stating my onion garlic allergy. The replacement came without scallions on top but they were inside the tortellini. Major fail so I asked for the risotto. It came and I immediately tasted onion. It was likely in the broth used. Now I’m just totally shocked at the ineptitude of this kitchen. They quickly replaced the risotto with another which tasted like plain boiled rice, which it was. Absolutely floored at this point and the server offered us a glass of champagne at midnight. The manager came over and apologized but offered nothing for this lack of attention to my food allergy. The 3rd course came and I got the filet minion. It was over cooked and 1/2 the size of a normal filet. My wife’s turbot was nothing to brag about. Dessert (4th course) was also a miss. The restaurant is beautiful but definitely not worth going until they can provide a better food experience. And can you believe that we were both poured 1/2 glasses of champagne, not even a full glass each! What a horrible experience. Thank god we had fun together this NYE and didn’t let this ruin our night. Do yourself a favor, find another restaurant. Huge thumbs down.

Quinto Miami

By Claudia Guedes |

I really wanted to like Quinto because the space is beautiful and the hype is huge, but the experience didn’t live up to it at all. The food was aggressively average for the price — dishes looked nice but lacked flavor and originality, especially considering how much they cost. It felt more like you’re paying for the vibe than for quality cooking. Service was another letdown. Our server seemed rushed and inattentive, and we had to flag someone down multiple times just to get basic things like water refills. For a restaurant that positions itself as upscale, the level of service was disappointing. Overall, Quinto feels like a classic Miami spot: stylish, trendy, and overpriced, but missing substance. If you’re going for Instagram photos or cocktails, fine — but if you’re actually looking for a memorable meal, there are much better options in the city.

Great location but overpriced menu and pushy staff

By Matt SouthFL |

I went there with my family for lunch, there was a beautifully served buffet that included basically everything from meats, fish, pastas and rice, to salads, vegetables and desserts. We realized that was basically what we were going to have since there was a wide variety of everything, and decided to order some wine and sangria. The staff was always trying to get some extra order meanwhile, and kept asking several times making our experience somehow uncomfortable at times. I believe it would make more sense to charge more for the buffet and let people serve themselves without that pressure, rather than preparing it and then just trying to sell dishes a part as that is definitely not an appetizer selection (the practice is not professional either). They charge for water and offer an overpriced selection of domestic wines. The place itself is awesome: they used fine furniture all over and chosen fancy design - the outside area is also gorgeous. I would say it's worth it for a special occasion, but more for the place than for the food as of now. Need some work on their personnel training and overall menu planning improvements to bring the quality of services at the same level of the location.

Really lovely experience, great food, good wine.

By Al3x01234 |

Very lovely experience. The restaurant itself is really modern and enjoyable to be in - great atmosphere. The service was exemplary. The food is really good, excellent steaks, not as good as you would actually get in South America but as good as you can get in the USA I should imagine. The wine is good, really refreshing to see a wine list in the USA that isn't just American wines. Great place to visit if you're in Miami.

Great dinning and sharing experience

By Carmina R |

My husband and I and some friends visited Miami for a birthday getaway. We had dinner at Quinto la Huella and everything was excellent! From the moment we arrived the attention was super. The hostess was very kind and helpful with our requests. The ambience, decoration and music was perfect! Our waiter, Ciro, and Italian from Napoli was amazing! His recommendations for drinks, food and desert were just great, besides the topics and friendliness. He even brought the birthday desert without being reminded! We had an excellent time.

Had Adela for our server and she was fabulous! She recommended amazing dishes and all the food was delicious. She was prompt, always there for the next drink or to refill water. Would totally recommend Quinto La Huella for an amazing experience.

Best sunday brunch with live music

By lisavallarino |

We went to brunch and found there was a live band of very talented musicians, they got all the people involved, even dancing and singing along! Food was great, meats, saldas, everything and please leave space for dessert...deliciuos!! I will do this brunch again any time, it was very cool.

Great food and atmosphere

By melisa a |

One of the things i love the most about this place is the atmosphere, how you feel like you’re in completely different restaurants as you make your way through the whole dinning area. The food is great and the prices are definitely doable. The provolone (provoleta) appetizer is perfectly cooked so its a little crispy and melted just right. The entraña is great and all the different carpaccios are amazing. Definitely recommend it for birthday outings and date night. There’s also various places to take pictures for the instagram lovers.
