We got Balkan food that we know from Europe because we are from Germany. Freddy was a good waiter and it was a good service. It was a really nice evening in a beautiful restaurant.

We had breakfast, lunch, dinner there many times. We tried many other restaurants , Rakija was the best of all. 10/10 for every food from breakfast to salads, especially for Bureks and cevabi. Coffees are very good especially if you are looking a good Americano and best Turkish coffee. Each team member is amazing for sure so nice and friendly at this restaurant. We would like to recognize especially Patricia (Patty) at Rakija. She has the best customer service and people skills. Very friendly, welcoming as if she was greeting her family members each time. She was always so helpful when we asked a recommendation. Also, our kids loved her so much and wanted to see her everyday to say hi and talk. She coordinates everything so professionally and quickly to make customers happy and also represent the restaurant at a highest quality. Rakija is so lucky to have her.

Had the grilled calamari for appetizer. Very good. For lunch the Caesar salad and pizza. All of it was excellent and made with fresh ingredients. Service was also great. Definitely recommend.

Surley waiting staff spent more time trying to be cool than be attentive to customers. overpriced drinks . $10 for small fresh orange juice which wasnt indicated at any point .

The service was exceptional. The second the waiter saw us walking towards the restaurant he opened the door for us and invited us in. The drinks and food are delicious and the vibe is nothing but fun for a vacation!!

Not worth the time, steak was as dry as his ex. Also like his ex, you think you want a drink but you end up not wanting to finish the night.

We visited Rakija Lounge and ordered two cocktails. Unfortunately, the cocktails were of poor quality, and when we politely mentioned it to the waiter, he was completely indifferent. We were shocked when the bill arrived ,the prices are far too high for the quality of drinks and service provided. We expected a much better experience considering the reputation of the place.

My server, Martin, was amazing and attentive through our entire reservation. He made sure our needs were met and gave great recommendations. The place is lively and the service is unmatched with reasonable prices. This is the second time I’ve come to Rakija and I am never disappointed. Ask for Martin and enjoy your time!

Great spot for breakfast real one. It is South beach so you can choose eat what you like . We decided to try Mediterranean Meze Plate And burek (cheese/spinach) with some classic American breakfast. You have huge selection Worth to go to try plate is combination of some salty cookies( USTIPCI )(awesome) salty one and with some so called sides (ajvar (from peppers and kajmak ( sour cream closest explanation + cold cats mostly from pig .(dry meat , sausage , bacon etc) I think picture will say more than any explanation Restoran is in Kent Hotel on Collins avenue in South Beach Miami. Our server Elena was great Price is South beach price so little more than anywhere else but that is normal

This is a Great party place 24/7. Only problem is that it is loud loud loud. Music is so loud you can hardly hear the person accross the table. Great place to be loud and get wasted. For anything else run like forrest gump.

Food is not terrible. Overpriced and bad service. Caesar salad without chicken is not a Caesar salad. When you confront them with this issue, they do not bother but they do include 18 * service tax on the check. A rip-off.

Recently my family and I found ourselves in Miami for a family wedding, which happened to be at the same time as our Slava. We decided to celebrate our day in Miami and chose to host dinner at the Rakija Lounge. While at first we were not thrilled with the idea of having Slava at a restaurant, as we always host it at home and do all the cooking, I have to say, Bogdan and his team really made our day special and made us Raving Fans of Rakija Lounge. Bogdan, our waiter Marko, and the whole team went above and beyond to make our celebration incredibly special and memorable. They even provided us with zito and a candle. The food was absolutely amazing and presented beautifully. The mesano mesa platter was outstanding with incredibly delicious cevaps and punjene pljeskavice that were out of this world. The cheese and spinach pita/burek were flaky and as delicious as my mother-in-laws (who for reference makes the best pita in the world), and the ustipci and Karadjordjeva Schnitzel were fantastic. We have not stopped telling everyone about Rakija Lounge since we were there, and recommend that everyone visit them. The last time we ate at a restaurant this good was in Belgrade. Thank you for a truly memorable Slava and dinning experience. Ziveli!

Worst place in Miami. I visited in October. They didn’t give us a warning, they SHUT THE LIGHTS OFF while my friends and I were EATING and SNATCHED our hookah that we still paid full price for. The drinks were watered down and just nasty. Everything could of been better if tip wasn’t included they wouldn’t have gotten a penny out of me. There are so many better places on the strip.

Hookah is great and smooth. Food is overpriced. Absolutely no COVID health practices in place here. Clearly, the owner didn’t get the memo about a pandemic. You can’t control patrons but at least implement basic health practices with your staff. Everyone wore masks under their nose, including the bartender. The general manager was going from table to table, mingling with customers with no face covering at all. The busboy just went from table to table « wiping » them down with the same rag and then laid the plates upside down. I’m trying to encourage businesses during these hard times, but c’mon... this is unacceptable behavior. I’m visiting from Texas, of all places with lax restrictions, and felt like I was on another planet. I would stay away until the owner has some sort of realization that we all have a part to play in keeping people safe. He failed.

Nice clean place with polite servers what is in South Beach not usually (my opinion) They also have a lot different kind of food Mix (European , American ,Latino so choose what you like .

Lejla went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. She was attentive, friendly, and had an incredible ability to anticipate our needs without being intrusive. Her recommendations from the menu were spot-on, and she made us feel like valued guests throughout the meal. It’s rare to find such a combination of great food and outstanding service, but this restaurant delivers on both fronts. Lejla truly made our visit memorable, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to anyone. Can’t wait to return!

Since I’m from Croatia this was a big yes from me. After 3 months of eating fast food, we couldn’t wait to have something from our region. We had cevapcici, sarma and burek, everything was amazing, we drink rakija as well. I don’t really remember a lot, because I was really drunk. But I enjoyed 🍻

This place makes accurate and delicious balkan food that is not commonly done in the states. I can’t speak enough good about it along with their friendly staff who (in my experience) even speak balkan languages! The location is also really great!

As an American that has fallen in love with Serbian Food, Spirits, and Culture to the point I own a Serbian restaurant myself in another state I pride myself in criticing Serbian restaurants in the United States. I understand the difficulties in staffing and supply chain and so my criticisms always take that into account. That being said, this is one of the better Balkan restaurants I've had the pleasure of visiting in the USA. They offer a nice mix of traditional Serbian cuisine and American favorites so there is something on the menu for everyone. Some of the negative reviews complain about the price and gratuity being added but I can attest to the pricing being on par with other balkan restaurants in the USA, and with Miami South Beach and the food quality and portions are above par for the area. As far as gratuity being added, that also seems to be par in Miami Beach. Don't skimp on the Rakia! This is a unique alcohol that is first fermented, then distilled and the offering they carry is among the best available in the USA.

The workers seem friendly and the atmosphere was wonderful ❤️ I was really happy with the variety of choices. They had some cheap and delicious stuff too!

I took my family out for a Miami moment. The hotel we are staying at host this restaurant. The service between the restaurant and hotel is beyond phenomenal. Service impeccable and an affordable breakfast with mimosas as well what else can you ask for.

Screen was great for watching game. A little disappointed that they switched menus for the game without mentioning that when we stopped early to make a reservation - food was triple the price (that was actually okay) but the menu was VERY limited so certain bar food we wanted weren't offered for the game.

Our breakfast was fabulous and service was great. The place has a very relaxing vibe, unique decor. Everyone that worked there was very nice and inviting.

This place is amazing. They have the best happy hour I saw in Miami. I had corona which I paid 5.95$ and my wife had a coctail 7.95$ which is for Miami veeeery cheap. Our waiter was Caci.She was very nice and attentive and she recommended meze plate which we loved! Will be coming here again for sure

Rainy storm followed by a tornado watch. It was a lot of rain. We had 1x shrimp cocktail, 1x pasta with too much sauce. 1x shrimp green salad with way too much vinaigrette. Glace of wine. 2x americano coffees. The rain had passed and we spent $113 including 18% service charge. Tips in Miami Beach is like a ‘TAX’. Its not a tip that you voluntary leave for good or bad service! So finally you pay for the location. Nothing special about their food.

Lana was a spectacular waitress and her recommendations on our likes and dislikes were spectacular. For a first time experience smoking from a Hookah, we were very impressed with the quality and cleanliness of the experience. The rakija brandy and drinks were an additional surprise. Rakija Lounge will be on our must-do list every time we visit Miami!!

I cannot imagine a scenario where someone could write a positive review of this restaurant. It is simply the worst restaurant I have ever been to in my life. No Covid precautions other than some of the staff were wearing masks-there was no hand sanitizer anywhere. Dirty tables and bathroom that has a lock with a combination on it. Waitress could barely speak English. Food was mediocre to poor. Lepinja bread was hard and stale. NO air conditioning! We could not wait to get the heck out of this place. Literally any other restaurant would be better than going here. What a waste of time and money. Sram vas bilo!

We visited this restaurant on Sunday Evening. Its close to Miami Beach few steps away from Ocean Drive so it was more quite. Food portions were big and tasty ( Karadjordjeva and Mix Grill). Rakija was great even though i found it expensive knowing how much it really cost but one shot. Our server Mirjana was great. We would definitely go back.

RAKIJA Lounge is an incredible experience from start to finish! The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and full of Balkan charm. The food was outstanding — I focused on the stuffed cabbage and burek, and everything was above and beyond. They also have a diverse menu with seafood, burritos, and hamburgers for everyone. The service was unmatched — Josefa, Elena, Otto, Tamara, Danijela and the owner Maria were genuinely kind, attentive, and welcoming. Everything from the wait time to the value felt perfect. This place is a true gem, and I would give 100 stars if I could! Highly recommend for anyone looking for amazing food and an unforgettable dining experience.

Went out on a dinner with friends. Staff is usualy from Balkan countries so they speak english and croatian. Very nice choice of genuine balkan food including sarma, cevapi, kajmak pljeskavice etc. We went for a platter meze and a mixed meat grill for 4. Great choice of balkan wines as well. And of course the strong rakija or grappa. Staff is very friendly and polite. Recommend if you want to experience true balkan food in Miami

They were so welcoming and accommodating you must have the Cevapi plate probably the best ones I have had and Ive tried a lot of them here in the states and back in former Yugoslavia. They even have Cockta (similar to Coca Cola ) and incredible Serbian coffee for a nice after meal pick me up!!

A Serbian buddy brought me here and I was amazed by the food. Excellent roasted lamb and sausage sandwich. Super friendly and quick service and strong cocktails. Careful with the Serbian moonshine though-it bites back! Everyone here speaks Serbian... but don’t worry, they speak English and Spanish too!

The food is delicious, the prices are ok, the staff is friendly. The arrangement is a bit touristy, but that's probably the only thing I could complain about.

The Rakija Lounge is in the heart of South Beach’s art deco district. When you enter the lounge, you hear accents. Voices in different languages such as Macedonian, Serbian, Bosnian, Albanian, Bulgarian, and English – the first question is always in English, asking where you are from, and then the second sentence immediately switches into a familiar Balkan language as though they’ve known each other forever. The manager, Bogdan, will enthusiastically welcome you and is everywhere with everyone; he never stops keeping an eye on everything. There is a proverb: “Satisfied customers always come back.” He appears to know everyone, and his patrons always return. Marko, the bartender, asked me what he could do for me in English, however since Bogdan was there, he gave Marko a better suggestion in Serbian, instead of a whisky, make me one of Rakija Lounge’s signature drinks, an old-fashion. This drink was so good that I had three. After their signature drink, I was served the best cevapi with pita bread, onion, and kajmak (goat cheese) before partaking in Balkan-style baklava. The VIP section was packed with beautiful Balkans, delicious food, hookahs, and happy faces. Around 10 pm, the Rakija Lounge and patio was packed. Serbian music from the 80s and 90s never stopped while patrons sang at the bar and patio tables, all thanks to cool vibes from DJ Vlad. The thrilling atmosphere warmed Balkan hearts, while DJ Vlad’s songs appealed to everyone, not only Balkan but international tourists and local Floridians. I came back the following week for a business meeting. This time I went with my Macedonian and Serbian friends. The service continued to be exceptional. Our server was an educated Albanian woman who was fast and friendly. She served an exquisite Balkan wine along with excellent mixed grill plates of kajmak, pita bread, ustipci (a blend of chopped meats wrapped around cheese), Shopska (Balkan-styled salads), and Macedonian and Serbian beers. Our entire meal was so delicious and tasted as good as back home. The Rakija Lounge is a fantastic and unique place to hear international music and listen to stories as you meet and connect with Balkan guests and locals. This lounge is one of the best places in south Florida to visit, and stress will float away after a few shots of rakija. I look forward to seeing the Word Soccer Match with my hybrid Balkan buddies, eating delicious authentic Balkan food, feeling pampered by the excellent service, and relaxing in the cozy atmosphere. The food is amazing! But service is really slow, the server was a good guy but I think he was doing too many things at the same time, you can't bartend and serv same time, We got our apps and he came after plates were cleaned from other guy and asked if we got our apps:)) we got our dinner and he didn't come over and ask how is everything and didn't ask for other drink, After 15 min we finished our dinner he came over to clean plates, actually, we had to call him over to ask for a check. I would never go back again If you guys wanna make money you should add more wait staff and not to be greedy on payroll

Honestly it’s hard to find a good bar with amazing vibes. This place officers all of that. The music, the people, the music and the vibes are fire. Prices are the best you’ll get around. We were here for 4 days and came more than once. The hookah was the best out of all we tried.

Popped in here because it was ‘happy hour’ seemed and was really a nice place but! Be careful as the so called happy hour only includes the corona beer. Service was pretty poor as well.

Loving this restaurant and hookah spot. You are able to smoke there and the fans are incredibly strong, you cannot smell a thing from anyone's table, even sitting right beside you. The food is incredibe!! Very tasty and flavorful. The employees are VERY attentive. Kids are able to eat here as well. Great management. Pizza is on point.

hookah for 30$ is awful. shrimps cocktail - 5 shrimps for 16$ And to Coronas. Total 60$ with taxed and service for nothing(
