Celiac from East Coast

By pampoohbear145 |

As a celiac is hard to find Italian restaurants. Visiting our daughter from the East Coast I was excited to try. I got the lasagna and the garlic bread and mozzarella sticks, gluten-free. Mozzarella sticks were decent, writing was a little light would have liked more color and crunch. Lasagna was good but very little hamburger or cheese and very thin maybe one layer if that. Got the peanut butter mudslide dessert and was disappointed as it did not have very much flavor and was costly. Also tried the pizza before I left that week and the dough was a little gummy. Not a lot of cheese, little disappointed as I was looking forward to a pizza with crust.

A delicious gluten-free pizza

By Sally D |

We stumbled upon this Greenwood Ave. treasure while visiting in Seattle. We specifically ate there because they offered gluten free choices. I am not only gluten free but also dairy free so finding pizza away from home is impossible. But, I was not disappointed in Razzi's pizza. The owner explained to us that his family includes members with these same dietary issues and that he's worked on developing his gluten free crust for the past five years. It was definitely the best GF crust that I've eaten and the dairy free cheese was delicious also.

Amazing Vegan Pizza Choices!

By Tony K |

It was exciting to find a pizzeria that has gluten-free and vegan menus - but beyond that, they have a combined gluten-free and vegan menu, which fits my dietary needs exactly. The pizza was quite delicious. The choices are extensive and they include plant-based meats as toppings. Great salads as well. Not much atmosphere or location appeal but there are inside and outside tables. A close walk from the South Lake Union area. HIGHLY recommend you give this place a try.

Multiple taste bud explosion!

By toeygirl94 |

First of all...the atmosphere is truly relaxed and welcoming. Back ground music was a great touch....bluesy mix was playing. The dolmathakia, rice stuffed grape leaves, was excellent. The sauce was a great tangy compliment. The chicken pesto pizza had mounds of chicken artichoke hearts, pesto sauce dripping off the sides and chunks of roasted pepper on a crisp crust. Omg....my mouth was having a hay day with all the flavors!!! A nice surprise was the roasted walnuts. That was interesting on a pizza. Loved the entire visit. Will definitely come back!

TOP 10 WORST VEGAN FOOD EVER. RUDE OWNER/MANAGER.

By Inbal B |

TOP 10 WORST VEGAN FOOD EVER. RUDE OWNER/MANAGER WITH POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND UNRESPONSIVE TO MY CONCERNS, (as indicated by a large number of reviewers on this site. I wonder what the percent of vegan customers who gave the poor reviews is). I visited Razzi's Pizzeria, 8/22/17 for dinner, accompanied by my partner, his daughter (completely vegan since childhood, now in her 30s) and her partner, who is also vegan. They saw the place and were elated by the vegan menu. My partner and I are well versed with many foods, including Italian and vegan, as I am 80% vegan. We are in our 50s and 60s and have eaten in hundreds, if not thousand eateries all over the globe (and often in my dreams and meditating time). The food here was unappetizing, offensive and distasteful. The dinner salad only, was great. The house special salad was iceberg lettuce, (the cheapest, least nutritious and tasteless lettuce) chopped so fine, it rea lly looked like it was ready to be called a dip. Surely, there was even less nutritional value and complete loss of crunch. The color was almost white. Folks, it was inedible; Next, the eggplant Parmesan, only modified into vegan by the vegan cheese, which was fine. the eggplant slice was half a centimeter thin, with coating, crisp as potato chips. It mainly tasted of stale oil and salt. The tomato sauce tasted as if it was canned tomato puree with no visible or tasteful herbs or spices. It was sour. The meatballs tasted disgusting. When I saw the entree salad was double my ability, I requested a take out container. After tasting it, I left both halfs on the table, minus a couple of bites. nobody at the table was interested in sharing it. It really looked like a mud pie kind of food that a child would make. Not wanting to make a scene out of my love for my family, I held onto the check. I called the owner, Amir, expressing my concerns 8/25/17 and requesting a full refund. This man was using several illogical arguments, trying to reflect the blame on my party. After disengaging with the hopeless phone conversation with him, he called, repeating his excuses. Then he angrily stated that he wasn't going to provide the $74.87 the meal cost. $19 for each Eggplant Parmesan and pasta Carbonara, $17 for Pasta and meatballs and $13 for the salad (as an entree). Nothing else was consumed. We were 4 adults. Think of a place by far below diner food quality and think about these prices. This place is a disaster for the spread of veganism. Please shared widely. P.S. - if the owner is willing to negotiate a more successful outcome, I will be happy to include it in this review.

Odd Pizza Crust

By Denver_Lass |

We had pizza our first night in Seattle and wondered if they gave us gluten free instead of traditional. The crust had a different texture than anything we've every tried. Toppings were tasty and sauce was good. We walked over and ordered a to go pizza to take to our hotel room. Service was good and the pizza was made quickly.

Gluten free-dairy free Nirvana

By mamamichele2015 |

I love that I found this place. It is the only restaurant I have found in Seattle where my entire family can go and have a lovely meal with out fear of any dietary restrictions. We all have different needs: dairy-free, dairy AND gluten free, "Whole 30 diet, vegetarian. Crazy, but they provide each of us with a different menu and it is all delicious!

Gluten Free Pizza At Its Best

By TexasBelletravel |

Menu is fantastic for Gluten Free and Non GF diets & so many options. Oh, and I get to chose a GF crust for my pizza; it's not the usual cardboard?? Fresh homemade bread when we arrived, if I lived in Seattle I would eat here everyday!!

Good calzones!

By pontouf1 |

Good calzones!

Overpriced, poor service

By niciaci |

Over priced, very greasy and poor service. It’s great that they have a gluten free and vegan menu. But the food is covered in oil and not worth the price. A plate veggies was 15! I won’t ever go back.

New Favorite Pizza Place in Seattle

By Christina B |

Recently discovered this place. They have a big awesome vegan menu and the pizza I have tried so far has been great. The crust is awesome. I got the Vegan W.O.W. pizza and mozzarella sticks. I've also tried the Vegan W.O.W. Calzone, which was good, but I thought the pizza was better. I'm excited to try more of their pizzas. Nice people, nice atmosphere.

The Gem of Greenwood

By PanoramaPoint |

In the unassuming neighborhood of Greenwood is a wonderful restaurant with consistently good food. Razzi's is much more than a pizzeria. It's the perfect place to enjoy a lunch or dinner prior to attending a play at Taproot Theatre or simply a casual dinner out. The large and varied menu has amazing salads, pizzas and other Italian favorites like spaghetti, lasagna etc., even gluten free presented by friendly, helpful servers. My favorite meal is a house salad with the Campanili Panini, a marvelous mix of grilled bread, cheese and turkey. You can order a half or full salad and prices are reasonable with generous portions. For dessert, four of us agreed on the spumoni ice cream, four separate ones. We were surprised to see what looked like spumoni cheese cake in a pie slice drizzled with sauce on the plate. Definitely a touch of class and utterly delicious. The warm atmosphere, service and food Italiano make Razzi's the gem of Greenwood.

great discovery in greenwood

By gangadhar333 |

razzis IS the place for pizza and great salads! we were amazed thata gluten free pizza could taste so good. the topping were generous and the crust and sauce was right on! nice atmosphere and a gluten free beer and im in love with this place

A rare Find for Gluten Free or Dairy Free

By ShannongailJ |

Both a Gluten Free Menu, a Vegan Gluten Free Menu, A Vegan Menu and a regular Menu. The staff is wonderful and when I didn't understand cheese came on all the pizzas routinely, they remade mine without cheese since I am allergic to casein in dairy products and gluten. Super nice people and unbelievably great menus. A treasure of a find for those of us with restrictions and my husband loved it too. Thank you Razzis. We WILL be back!

Good italian food

By mustoffa2 |

They always have good food here. We've been to multiple locations and they all serve yummy dishes. The baked pastas are good and the Zorba the greek pizza is great. It's like a gyro pizza.

Rude server, overcharged, decent food

By Cakeeater22 |

Loved the gluten free clarity on the menu and the amount of options. The food was pretty good but the employee was really rude the whole time we talked to him. He was really rude when I asked how much it is to substitute a type of cheese and sauce. Additionally he said there was NO additional charge, only to find out on the bill later that I got charged SEVERAL EXTRA dollars! He was so terrible to interact with the first time I just paid it so I didn't have to talk to him again. The food was not worth being treated so crappy so I wouldn't recommend this.

Expensive but Worth It

By Mattermind |

We recently flew to Seattle to visit our sister and see U2. After eating a lot of "road food" waiting in the GA line all day, it was nice to sightsee and visit family -- and splurge on a hot, delicious pizza. After searching online for the best options in her neighborhood, we decided on Razzi's, a short hike from our sister's downtown apartment. At first i was going to phone the order in and have it delivered, but a quick look at the menu revealed way too many options to decide on without a little help. So we dashed out int he rain and consulted the experts, discovering that there are FOUR different menus catering to vegan, gluten free and god-knows what other preferences. Since we are mostly vegan (pesto and cheese sometimes), we were intrigued by the extensive variety. Normally we find just enough different choices, but here we could spend weeks trying out all the different ways to build a pie -- and more! Some came pre-selected, but the vast array of a la carte add-ons created a bit of a brain fog. With a little help, we settled on half vegan "meat-lovers" and half WOW veggie, with an order of free vegan "mozzarella" sticks thrown in for checking in on Yelp. The order ended up a bit on the expensive side for carry-out, but we did choose XL to leave the leftovers for our underfed sis. And all that economizing had put us ahead on U2 food expenses so it was all good, really, especially while devouring hot slices in a warm apartment in the cold, drizzling Seattle rain. If we lived nearby, you can bet we'd be back often to explore that vast, mesmerizing menu!!!

Vegan / Gluten-free flavorful pizza

By Gayle V |

Razzi's has delicious gluten-free, vegan pizza for low cost. Their lunch special includes a good sized salad, 7" individual pizza and a drink for only $11. There are a few places to eat inside, or easy take out with a short walking distance to Springhill Suites, Hilton Garden Inn and Residence Inn.

By Jason L |

Went there for my friend's birthday. Wasn't impressed at all. Had Seafood and Chicken Pesto pizza, Eggplant Parmesan and Fettuchine Carbonara. Buffalo and Italian wings, cheese sticks. Wings sticks were soft and weird texture.... Chicken Pesto Pasta was not good at all except for the dough. Seafood pasta was a little bit better. Taste of the Carbonara couldn't go wrong, but the fettucine was way too soft. Eggplant wasn't good either.

Very Disappointed!

By DuHamel |

I would have given a zero rating if that had been a choice. First, I placed my delivery order at 3p on a Sunday afternoon and my food arrived at 5p! I can't imagine that any restaurant is overwhelmed with orders at this time of day on a Sunday. Then the food was marginal at best and barely warm. Once my order finally arrived, the driver simply handed me my food and took my money without saying one word .. no apology for the wait, no thank you, no nothing! I do not recommend this restaurant and do not plan on being a repeat customer.

They're Not Kidding!

By Joel L |

"Savor Without Sacrifice" is the motto of Razzi's Pizzeria. They're not kidding. The menu they have is enormous, and because the owner has been dealing with food-allergies for many years he has developed an astounding array of options. One in our group has gluten intolerance. No problem! She couldn't believe how great her pizza tasted. A second person in our group also has gluten intolerance, plus a strong yeast-allergy. No problem! She, too, couldn't be bothered to chat much due to her focus on enjoying her pizza. If anyone in your group has any food allergy at all, this is the place for you. It sure is for us.

Gluten-free heaven

By Mia C |

They have a HUGE gluten-free menu. And I've tried their GF pizza, pasta, and breads and they all taste great! The servers are very attentive and can accommodate other dietary restrictions with ease. Simply amazing. This is our favourite family restaurant.

Amazing find

By TonyFlury |

We cam across razzi's on our car Sat Nav, and wow what a find. Great service, and great food. The Heroes pizza was simply amazing, and grinders were great too. Prices were excellent value.

Gluten-Free Heaven!

By Amanda C |

So happy when we went and they had a full GF menu! My husband and I had a gf pizza and the gf peanut butter cheesecake. YUM! It was so good! I wish I lived in Seattle because I'd be there every week!!

Greatest Gluten Free Resturant Ever!

By Rick W |

I couldn't believe the menu. They took their non-gluten free and made everything gluten free. The largest GF menu I've ever seen (and I look for them). Oh yea, and it Italian too! Yum. The staff is great and very friendly. A little out of the way if you are staying in Seattle but worth it.

Gluten Free or Not, You Will Love This Place!

By gfunkgfunk63 |

During a visit to see our two children who now live and work in Seattle, we were looking for a spot to have a late lunch while shopping in the Greenwood/Ballard area. We happened across Razzis Pizza, and noticed they have a complete menu that offer gluten free dining choices (my wife and one of our kids must eat GF). Their menu is extensive, and gluten free or not, they can prepare about any Italian or mediterranean dish. My wife and daughter enjoyed chicken parmesan and spaghetti (yes, gluten free pasta) and I enjoyed a fabulous non GF chicken parmesan alfredo. The waitress was very good, the entrees arrived very quickly, the gf bread served was outstanding, and we enjoyed every bite!

Just amazing Italian food & diverse menu with something for everyone

By grammeegadgetgal |

You will not miss gluten - everything here is amazing. My litmus test for Italian food is eggplant parmesan. This place does it perfectly! Having pizza in their name does not do them credit. Our group of no-restrictions, gluten-free, vegan & vegetarian all had so many choices, it took longer to select than for them to prepare the food! Large servings at very reasonable prices . . . We'll be back!!

Pizza was good, but after effects were not.

By muktownmomma |

Specifically went to this pizzeria because they were recommended by several sites as being gluten-free, well the food wasn't. While we thought the food tasted great and looked amazing, this is not the place for someone with Celiac's disease to eat at ever. There has to be a rule stating you cannot claim GF unless you have a dedicated prep area and the after effects of eating here lasted days. It was a horrible way to spend our vacation. My husband ordered a beer that arrived flat - like it had been sitting out for days flat. Ordered a different beer with little change.

Fantastic!

By ShellaBean |

My brother and his fiance booked one of the banquet rooms for a rehearsal dinner. They were looking for super casual, fun, and relaxed environment. But they didn't want to sacrifice quality of food. Razzi's didn't disappoint! They have regular, vegan, gluten free, and gluten free/vegan menus. The vegan calzones were phenomenal. Dining areas are very spacious and parking was relatively easy to find for a Friday night. Restrooms are very clean as well.

Excellent and allergy-friendly restaurant

By meeth628 |

Two people in our group had milk and gluten allergies, and two people in our group has no allergies. All four agreed that the food was excellent. We ate in both of their locations, and found the food terrific in both places. Highly recommended for great pizza and Italian dishes.

Best gluten free menu we have ever seen....and delicious

By LodiDazzles |

Went with a large party for an early dinner. Delicious fresh, homemade bread (gluten free, what a treat). Meals were superb both regular and gluten free. Came with delicious salads or soup, very large portions. Delicious, adventurous (or not!) pizzas. Very nice wait staff. Purchased breads to go, such a treat. Very reasonable priced. Can't wait to visit again and try more options.

Separate exhaustive vegan menu - calzones, pizza, gyros, desserts - oh my

By EmeraldCityVeganEats |

Stopped by for a pizza at RAZZíS PIZZERíA in Seattle (they also have a location in Greenwood). They have a separate vegan menu with a huge assortment of options ( https://www.razzispizza.com/menus/vegan.html ). We've dined at their Greenwood location many years ago. While I don't remember exactly what I had, I remember it being amazing! Today we had the Forager's Fantasy Pizza - loads of mushrooms, onions, green peppers, tomato, basil and vegan mozzarella. We ordered a medium to split as we were looking more for a snack than something to fill us up. This was their medium. Huge. Six slices in total. Tasty melty cheese, soft crust, everything blended well. If you're hungry, it doesn't matter what you like, pizza, calzones, gyros, low carb options, gluten free options, desserts - they've got you covered!

Lots of GF options

By Crystal K |

My friend has celiac disease and can't easy gluten. This pizzeria has a ton of GF and vegan options. The pizza was definitely the best part, but the garlic bread and mozzarella sticks were lacking much flavor.

Great Pizza!

By AustinAggie98 |

We stopped in here for lunch on a Saturday, while exploring downtown for the day. The menu is huge but we fell in love with the eggplant pizza. Great crust, sauce and toppings were great quality!

Always good food and service

By Marty S |

The food here suits omnivores, vegetarians, vegans and gluten free folks! And it's always tasty, and served promptly if you allow for the fact that it's not fast food. Take your time and enjoy.

Quite the selection

By Pam W |

Wonderful Italian restaurant that caters to a variety of diet options, vegan, gluten free, and normal, etc.

🍕 is good

By wj2003 |

Good pizza. Menu is broken down for all types (vegan, gluten free etc..). No parking so you may have to find a spot somewhere nearby and walk over

Amazing gluten free menu!

By hiccup1 |

I wish we had a restaurant like this where we live. Excellent food, both regular and gluten free. Even an extensive gf beer selection .

Best Pizza in Seattle with All Healthy Options!

By Perry B |

Whenever guests come to town or we have family celebrations, we go to Razzi's. The menu is massive, the pizzas are hand crafted, locally sourced, and the crust is simply incredible. Just took family in May to celebrate my wife's birthday and enjoyed the large Greek salad, Hawaiian, BBQ Chicken, Thai chicken, and White Garlic Chicken. Kids love the spumoni ice cream, and they brought out a vegan tiramisu dessert for my wife. All healthy options available, including gluten free, vegan, and carnivore.

More than pizza &best menu for a gluten-free person ever that I've seen.

By Jeffrey E |

This was my 1st trip to 07/27 & 07/28, Razzis, along with 3 others. Two of these people need gluten free food which we found through the mobile app, "find me gluten free". So we go in and the first thing they ask is do we want a regular or gluten free menu. So myself and the other guy want reg. and the girls get gluten free. The menu is at least 12"x18" both sides printed, FOR BOTH MENUS. The girls are all smiles and near drooling. Both the menus are near identical with one obviously gluten free. Yes, the same items on both minus the wheat. So they order mozzarella cheese sticks, with marinara sauce. We(guys) were lucky to get a bite, but they were great and the sauce too. So you could order pizza, grinders, pasta and desserts. We had it all and both variations were excellent. The girls were all smiles and nearly fell over Aamir(the owner), when he came and asked us how things were. They just went off about the variety and selection of items and have never had so much to choose from and hating to watch others it things that they could never have, but now being able to eat those things. Needless to say the food was fabulous, very tasty. I'd recommend this place to all gluten free people. There is plenty of seating to be had and for large parties too. So they had to go back for lunch the next day, they twisted our arms although we would've been the first ones in the door but being gentlemen we held the door. As a side note, I hear they deliver, so give them a try.

Great for Gluten Free (GF) dining

By JTSeattle |

We often eat gluten free. Finding good GF options for dining can be hard. This is why Razzi's is such a delight. They have a complete menu with high quality GF pasta and pizza and they do it right, with no cross-contaminations. The food is great and the atmosphere is friendly. It is a great option for GF. And recommended for Greenwood.

Neighborhood treasure

By WanderingWolfe |

Menus bigger than some of the diners, caters to regulars diners and gluten free and vegetarian dining. Mainly Italian with some mid eastern foods as well. Neighborhood treasure.

Fast and friendly

By adamsheidi |

Delicious and wide selection of pizza pasta and salads. Able to accommodate large groups, friendly staff and nice neighbourhood. Nice half and full size options.

Gluten Free Heaven

By John L |

My wife is Gluten Free but loves Pizza. We were visiting Seattle and she found this restaurant as a very Gluten Friendly place to eat. Usually gluten free pizza crust is slightly better than cardboard. However, Razzi's is different. We really couldn't tell the difference on the pizza. Their gluten free calzone was also very good and the crust had great flavor. Our waitress was wondeful and the atmosphere was nice. A must visit for anyone on a gluten free diet!

Great find!

By Nancim |

This place has a hometown feel, lot's of locals here. Full gluten free menu. Great pizza, great garlic bread on a cute little street with shops and salons.

Neighborhood family place

By jbz |

This was one of the first pizzerias in food-trend-conscious Seattle to create an extensive gluten-free menu, and also a vegan one, and their experience shows in their broad, creative selection of offerings. Perhaps not ideal for bargain-hunters but high marks for their flavor combinations. Their dining room is full almost any time I pass by--that should tell you something!

Tasty pizza - Close to our hotel

By Robyn A |

We were looking for a restaurant close to our hotel (Springhill suites). We walked out the door and saw the sign so we went in. Mainly a takeaway restaurant but they do have some seating inside and outside on the curb. We ordered the cheese bread and the house special pizza. Both were served hot and were very tasty. Good service and friendly staff. Glad we stumbled across this restaurant. Would visit again if staying here.

If Heaven is a Gluten-Free Pizza...I found it!!!

By MomDot2 |

Oh. My. Gosh!!! This place was amazing. It took us a few times to find parking, but then we were told we could of parked behind Razzi's. Now I know. The day was rainy, and we were partially soaked. I resembled a drowned rat that day, but we persevered and went to Razzi's. Mind you we were famished and needed something yummy. We opened the door and realized it wasn't a restaurant but an order and pickup/delivery location. That's okay though. I had to clarify that we were at the right place. Razzi welcomed us in. He was very hospitable and gracious. We had a nice conversation and he shared with us that he has been providing gf food for greater Seattle for 11+ years. What I loved, beside the entire menu being gluten free, was that he called me by my first name. It was like having an old friend. He gave us some ideas on what to try and so we ordered, a gluten-free pepperoni pizza for my daughter, and the W.O.W pizza for myself. I also ordered a side of gf pasta with sauce. It took only 15 minutes for the order to be complete and it was packaged with labels that said "gluten free", vegan, etc.. Loved that nice touch. It gave me peace of mind. Razzi told us where his sit down restaurant was and mentioned his amazing gf bread dipped in balsamic and olive oil. Mouth watering for sure! Nonetheless, we got our food and went to the car where we proceeded to devour our pizzas with the 15 minutes we had left on the clock at the parking meter. I can't even describe the mouth-watering bite that lead to the next, and the next, and the next. The flavor of his pizza was so exceptional, not to mention the crispy crust. He truly has perfected the art of gf pizza. The next day we ordered in, I was a bit bummed about the delivery time, it took over an hour, but again, not disappointed in flavor. This time we ordered GF Chicken Fettucini, and Hummus. The Fettucini came with gf bread too. The sauce was beyond amazing. I've never had such amazing flavor in Italian Food, let alone gluten free. Razzi's is our new love and we will definitely be back. My gluten free tummy has never been so satisfied on a trip away from home. The Hummus was yummy too. My daughter said, she would love to work for Razzi to learn his art of gluten free, if she ever moves to Seattle. I thought that was a huge compliment to him.

Best all around restaurant

By eternity45 |

From middle eastern food to pizza this place has it all and it's all delicious. The owner is quite the character and goes around to each table to make sure that everything is better than good. We ate here 4 out of 7 days. I mentioned it to friends who were going out to the Seattle and they had lunch ans said it was exceptional.

Great Place / Great Service

By Eduard R |

This place is great. The service is outstanding. I had pasta and it was very good. I was staying at a hotel close by and hat it take-out. You will like it.

Excellent pizza

By Globetrotter10079 |

Amir the owner for over 30 years is a wonderful host. His restaurant was previously called Romio’s, and renamed Razzi’s. He had a location by the Convention Center, and moved to Eastlake Ave. He is at the Greenwood location making excellent Gorgonzola Gourmet pizza without the red peppers, and adding slices of eggplant, and chicken for me. The eggplant combined with the Gorgonzola melts in your mouth. I tried his new Root beer Crater Lake made with 100% Cane Sugar which is produced in Portland Oregon. It is good but, I prefer Thomas Kemper.

Yummy pizza

By Maria G |

Had a ceasar salad and pepperoni pizza the price tag was a little high for just pizza but the favors were good enough to make it worth it. It's a pizza Italian place that tries to fancy it up. Nice little place if your in the mood for it. Little to no waiting a plus.

Something for all! Grinder-licious!

By Joe S |

If you or friend or partner are seeking vegetarian or vegan or regular pizzas, grinders, salads... this is the place. So many things to choose from. In fact, they have 4 different menus. I had the Eggplant Parmesan Grinder. For $7 (for HALF Sandwich), there was only two pieces of eggplant on the sandwich. Thats pretty skimpy. The sandwich, especially the bread, were delicious. If you arrive before 2 pm, you can get a grinder + salad + drink all for $10

some of the best pizza and also offers Gluten free for my friends

By Jean B |

the pineapple/canadian bacon was sooo very good and also the Marguarita was by far the best I have had since leaving Italy...our waitress April was so attentive and a refreshing "joy"...will return and bring my friends who need to have gluten free food

Tasty food. Good Service. Average Value.

By BigJimH |

We dined as a group of six. We ordered and shared a variety of standards off the huge menu including tortellini puttanesca; the Razzi's Special pizza; three different entree salads; the Mediterranean Mezze appetizer, and a child's pizza. All the choices were very good, the food was finished, no need for a doggie bag. Which speaks partly to the quality, but also to my next point: most in our party commented that value for price was lacking. A prime example were the salads: the chop salad was shredded iceberg, with a meager portion of toppings. The antipasto had only a couple slices of pepperoni and salami. I'd describe them more as small side salad portions served on a big salad plate. The mezze appetizer includes tasty babajanous, hummus and tzatziki sauce. Then only a few slices of pita, certainly not enough to finish the dips. A side of pita is extra. Now, we're not especially huge eaters, we like to share so everyone can try a bit of variety. We place a premium on quality over quantity. The food here is quality. My criticism is with the disproportionately high prices compared to portion size, and areas where they seem to be making cost efficiencies.

AWESOME!!!

By Jim P |

Very extensive Gluten Free menu! Largest I've ever seen. Food is full of flavor and absolute best! Breads and pastas are made in store. We had the Chef's Special Grinder and the Pepperoni Mushroom Pizza. They were both truly spectacular. You must visit this place!

Amazing vegan and gluten free dishes!

By Luisa T |

I love this restaurant. There is so much selection, the food is great, pizza is not greasy, and it caters to my food sensitivities. Will definitely be eating here more.

Good Service Good Food

By Levon M |

9 of us on a Saturday night. We had a private room downstairs and it was ready when we walked in. Our server was friendly, helpful and fast. I think everybody had something different and all enjoyed what they had. I had beef cannelloni and it was quite good. They have quite an extensive menu. Plus separate menus for vegan and gluten free items. Prices were a little higher them I am used to but not out of line for Seattle. They don't have parking so you have to find space on the street or in one of the pay to park lots.

Comfortable place for pizza, et al.

By dkfcleveland |

Stopped in for lunch and found a good place for pizza, pastas, and Greek dishes, as well. Large choice of toppings, as well as gluten free meals. Comfortable booths and quiet atmosphere. Baklava dessert was a bit dry. Service was friendly.

Best gluten-free crust in town

By Alyssa M |

This is the place to go when you have people with special diets in your group. They have a "regular" menu as well as a gluten-free menu, a vegan menu and a gluten-free vegan menu. The best thing is you will find those special diet menus to be just as extensive as the regular menu. They make their own GF pizza crust, pita bread, panini bread and more and it is excellent. They will even sell you the crust/dough to take home and make your own if you want. Bring a person following a gluten-free diet here and they will be blown away that they can actually have a gyro with GF pita bread, or a turkey panini, apple pie, calzone, pasta, GF croutons on their salad and of course, pizza. I've served their GF crust to non GF folks and they have liked it better than regular crust. Seriously you have to check it out. I live in the neighborhood and go here and get delivery frequently.

Great Gluten Free Food!

By couggirl1 |

I went there after seeing they had gluten free and vegan options, and I am so glad that i did. They have the best gluten free, vegan pizza I have ever had. The chocolate torte was to die for. Best gluten free vegan around.

Incredible Pizza and HUGE Gluten Free Menu!!

By happytraveler1969 |

This Pizza is seriously delicious! In my opinion, two things make a good pizza; the crust, and the sauce. This establishment delivers on both! While pizza prices come in at the usual mark, the decore of this place is above par and service certainly matches! My favorite part is that they have a TWO PAGE GLUTEN FREE MENU! Garlic bread, Pizza, Pasta, chicken tenders, you name it! Even 6 types of gluten free beer!! Hello!

Holy Crap! This is GF pizza nirvana.

The title says it all. I hate having Celiac and I can get good gf pizza, but this stuff is so, so good I got it 2 nights in a row. One hint is to order the pizza well done, but that goes for all gf pizza. Thanks Razzi.

Good Options

By K J |

I visited the downtown Seattle location. There was one table and a few bar stools if you choose to eat there. I ate off the gluten free, vegan menu. The gluten free crust is delicious! Best gluten free crust I have ever had. However the vegan cheese is Daiya brand which I am not a big fan of. The cost of the pizza was also quite steep in my opinion for gluten free pizza in comparison to other venues. I am happy however that a place offers the gluten free vegan options though. There was also a lot of choices for different kinds of pizza on the menu.

Cozy, comfortable neighborhood place, tasty food

By Anglophiles2008 |

We had a nice family dinner at Razzi recently. The atmosphere was relaxed and cozy. Our wait person was a little slow getting to us, but she apologized, all was well, and she provided attentive, super-friendly service throughout the rest of our meal. The food was delicious--very nice Greek appetizers, the puttanesca was hearty and flavorful, beef ravioli was tasty and well covered with sauce, and the vegetarian pasta was delicious. Note--Obviously, our 5 star rating doesn't mean that this is the best restaurant in all of Seattle, but rather that it was an excellent representative of the small neighborhood dining establishment. We would visit again anytime we are in Greenwood.

Best Gluten-Free Food Ever

By Celtickirk |

My wife is Italian and has missed bread with her meals since she discovered she is gluten intolerant. Most GF pizza crust tastes like cardboard but not only did she have an awesome quinoa pasta with eggplant, but it came with GF garlic bread that was over the top. It tasted exactly like regular bread. If I didn't know it was GF, I would never have guessed. The other food here was very good as well. We will return to this restaurant on our next visit to Seattle.

Great tasting pizza! Delivery too!

By Cathy S |

Razzi’s Pizzeria was a delicious dinner! They take orders for delivery! All the pizzas (thin crusts) were so good. Also recommended is the garlic bread as the marinated dipping sauce was the best ever tasting! Highly recommended if you want the convenience of not having to go out in the damp, drizzly weather in Seattle.

Best Gluten Free Pizza and Bread Dough. Period.

By ScottJefe |

Our friends from Toronto were astounded by the quality of taste and texture of the Razzi's gluten-free bread. We've been fans of all their other pizza and pastas, so this makes it exceptional for friends that have diet needs.

Average food; spotty service

By bamajewels |

The food at this local pizzeria is fairly average. They have an extensive menu and it's entirely possible to please almost everyone in your party. Speaking of party, they have party rooms, but the rooms in the basement feel like….rooms in the basement. My biggest issue with this place is that the service can be really bad. We've waited for up to an hour for food. It's a neighborhood joint and I really want to support it, but more often than not we opt out because we don't want to wait all evening.

Variety menu

By Karol64 |

We visited with a group of friends and were surprised by the four separate menus. They certainly catered to those with special dietary needs and personal preferences. Our group chose from 3 menus and all were pleased....from a chicken artichoke soup to gluten free pizza.

Busy place but worth it

By 708patrick |

Razzis proved to be a very popular and busy place on our Thursday night visit. Despite this we were well and speedily served. Portions are large so sharing is a viable option. Very extensive menu and wine/drink list. There is a kids room at the rear that was busy. This is obviously a popular spot for families.Even though I am a thin crust fan I readily admit I enjoyed the traditional pizza. Found an Abruzzo on the wine list!

Terrible food and poor service

By Jason C |

My baked pasta was really burned. The sevice was very slow and empty plates were never removed from the table. Had to sit there the whole time with dirty plates. The pizza sauce was gross. Very low quality.

Great Gluten-Free Options

So nice for the family to be able to go out for pizza together and know that our celiac can eat safely. Loved the GF cheesesticks and pizza!

Amazing food and service

By Grace7195 |

Visiting from the UK and wanted a take away in the comfort of our apartment. Rang to order and the server was very helpful regarding delivery to our address. The food came at the given delivery time and the driver was very friendly. The food was amazing, tasted so fresh and was very filling. My husband is coeliac so was very impressed with the massive GF menu available. He said it's the best food he has had in ages! A rare treat for him to have gyros and tiramisu. Thank you so much, compliments to the chef

Great food, not so great service

By iloveromance |

We found this place while driving back from the Woodland Park Zoo and since I had seen the location by I-5 we decided to give it a try. The service was bad right from the start. The hostess made very little effort to accomodate us and it took a long time for our "real" server to come over and help us. When he did he was very absent minded, asking me three times what I had ordered. My husband ordred a beer but it took forever for anyone to bring it to him; so long in fact that he had to go up and ask the bartender for it. However the food was great so that being said, I would happily try another location.

Not the Best

By Andrea6888KD |

We dropped in to order a pizza for take-out. We felt as though the staff didn't really want us there. There were not especially friendly and then went back to their devices as soon as we sat down to wait. The wait time was decent, and the order was correct. However, the pizza wasn't very good. The crust was dough-y and soggy, and the sauce was pretty flavourless.

Gluten free paradise

Best GF pizza I've had & great breadsticks too. Tons of options including some tantalizing GF desserts. Very knowledgeable, friendly and attentive staff as well. A go to every time we come to Seattle from now on.

After Taproot Performance

By Michelle A |

Son and I went here with another family for lunch after a performance. Son had garlic chicken caesar salad.I had the eggplant parmesan. We both had water to drink. Our friends had the lunch special of salad, pizza and soft drink. All of our lunches were delicious. The service was awesome. The restaurant was very clean. We would eat here again.

Absolutely Amazing! Probably the best restaurant experience I've ever had!

By Bee C |

My husband and i went here as I heard they had an extensive vegan menu, which was certainly true! It had the most choices of anywhere I have ever been, there also have an entire gluten free menu as well. Our server was very friendly and prompt as well as the host. He seated us right away and brought us water, then our server took our drink order very quickly. She gave her opinion on menu items and brought our appetizer out right away. The gluten free garlic bread was superb, the vegan blue cheese dressing was unbelievable, tasted so similar and delicious, the vegan thai chicken pizza and build your own calzones were out of this world too! The server was very careful and aware that we were ordering from the vegan menu and got our order perfectly right. Then we even got a gluten free vegan strawberry cheesecake that I am still fantasizing about. The make all their desserts, dressings, sauces, breads, crusts, and such all right there! It was amazing to have such a hearty succulent meal that didn't impede on anyone's health. The server promptly refilled drinks many times and was very attentive the whole dinner. Absolutely loved this place and without a doubt will be returning many times!

Excellent Pizza - Yes, Gluten Free!

By Scott M |

I don't have a gluten intolerance but my wife does. I LOVED this pizza! My main issue with gluten free crust is it usually chewy or not crunchy enough. The consistency of their GF dough was like a mix between a layered biscuit and and a normal pizza crust. It had enough toppings and despite being a little on the expensive side it was really extraordinary - by far best pizza of any kind I've had lately. I thought the staff was sincere but the place seemed a little chaotic with too many staff members (and not enough who acted like they knew their responsibilities). I recommend for take out!

OMG!!!

By brookelgibson |

I have celiac disease and this is hands down the best place I’ve ever eaten!! The menu is gigantic it’s almost overwhelming when you’re so used to being so limited with gluten free! I had the gf calzone and my husband had the gf pizza and they were incredible!! The owner was so so kind to us and he has definitely mastered making gluten free bread! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone!! And it will be my first stop next time I’m in Seattle!!!

Really good neighborhood Italian

By jpeter4798 |

The food was very good. We had mozzarella sticks, pitas and hummus, soup, fettuccine Alfredo , and calzones. The portions were large. The service was properly attentive (Yadiera) and pleasant. We liked the vibe of the place.

Razzi's Pizza

By Susan E |

Great flavor. Wonderful decor. Service a bit slow...but we were ten in our party. They set us up in the banquet room. We ordered the extra large cheese pizza...and extra large special. Oh my gosh..it has been a long time since I have enjoyed such an excellent tasting pizza! The touch of feta cheese and topped with a slice of ripe tomato on each piece was the best. While the bathrooms are sparkling new and VERY clean, there is an odor in the women's bathroom. Other than that one thing, this review would have been five stars!

Mixed feelings

By Home106 |

Being gluten free, I was happy to see an extensive menu. There was a group of 11 of us, all family, going to see my niece in a play nearby. She was a lead, so a pretty big deal. 5:15 reservations, 7:00 play. Our table was ready. Drink orders taken, but slow in arriving. Also slow taking food order, but we thought we were so early and thought we were fine. Some, but not all salads came. Then one pizza came. And then...nothing. Not even my niece’s soup. I finally spoke up. Some, but not all our food arrived. At 6:30! Two people never got their food AT ALL! I woofed down half my meal (puttanesca, which seemed good, hard to tell) and rushed to the play. This did not make for a relaxing start to what should have been a great evening. Halfway through the play, my stomach started to rumble. Whether it was eating so fast or the food itself, I have no idea. After several discussions (and excuses) with the manager, we were finally given a discount. Unlikely that we will return!

Just one of the wonderful restaurants in the Greenwood neighborhood.

By Tim M |

I always take my daughters here before going to plays at a nearby theatre. The food has always been excellent though the kitchen can seem a little slow when I'm trying to get to the play sometimes.

Razzi's Pizza has great salads as well as Pizza

By Pam M |

My husband loved the pizza but I wanted salad. The chopped salad was so good I didn't miss Pizza. House chianti though is not good. I've had much better for the same price. Service is efficient. Location is next to Taproot Theater and they give a theater discount when you show your tickets.

Great gluten-free pizza.

By travelmore2day |

We really liked the GF pizza. The calzone is really just a pizza folded in half and was just ok. I think the pizza with the winner. Lots of GF options. Casual diner feel.

Great selection of gluten-free and low-carb options

By degan |

My friends recommended this place to us as my husband is celiac. They have a gluten-free menu, a vegan menu and a regular menu which are all excellent. We regularly order a custom gluten-free pizza with the bread sticks and marinara sauce and love it. I often get the low-carb eggplant parmigiana with black olives and it is delicious. Delivery is quick and pleasant but dining in is cozy and familial, plus they have a great selection of gluten-free and regular beer.

Allergy-friendly pizza, sandwiches & pasta!

By wrathchild |

oh my oh my. gluten-free and dairy-free pizza? that's delicious? plus "mozarella" sticks, and grinders and garlic bread? i must be high. but no...here it is. absolutely delicious and totally allergy-friendly. and the most expensive pizza i've ever had in my life, hence the 4 stars.

Just alright pizza ... I have had much better

By KweqSmanit |

Razzi's Pizzeria in Greenwood was "just okay". I have had much better and I have had worse.I probably won't return here as there are other local options I feel are better.. Located in downtown Greenwood Razzi's Pizzeria has pizzas, calzones, pastas, soups, salads, and more. They serve some good beers on tap and as well feature veggie pizzas and vegan as well as a few low carb options. The interior has a pleasant reddish and brown wooden feel to it with plants and a kind of elevator music style playing the whole time which is annoying actually as it distracted from what should be a more Italian feel to the restaurant. There were plants also for some greenery. The parking is in the rear as the front is Greenwood Ave and is quite a busy street and really parking there is too big a hassle and there isn't many spaces. The staff also seemed very "hurry up"-ish when you are ordering which I felt was off-putting to me.There was no reason for that. The barbecue chicken pizza did have nice large chunks of chicken on it and had a tasty sauce but was a bit slightly underdone in my opinion and the point end of the pizza triangle was too droopy for my liking. It needed more firmness to the crust for it not to drop and sag down. As well their prices are a bit high in my opinion for pizza.

GF Offerings Satisfy!!

By KayRynerson |

I kept having to read the label on the food I had delivered to assure me it was gluten-free -- the crusty bread drenched with butter, pea soup still too hot to take in which is pretty unusual for a home-delivered bowl, and spaghetti noodles layered with eggplant, marinara and mozerella. AND ALL ORGANIC!!! I'm an instant fan. There's even enough left over for breakfast.

Dinner at Razzis 11-14-19😟

By Elle |

I have always loved and recommend Razzis they have great gluten free pizza and they used to have great service. Last night the service was seriously lacking. After spending two and a half hours at Seattle children's my two daughters ages four and seven spent three hours navigating the bus system to get to Razzis and meet up with a friend and her son. Only to end up with mediocre service. Hostess took us to our table and didn't tell waitress that two more would be joining us. Waitress was cold, rude and barely checked in about our food or wether we needed anything. Had to flag her down for extra napkins I got two. When I ordered I felt rushed like she'd rather be anywhere but where she was. Due to Dr appointments friend was running late so messaged to have me order for her when waitress was flagged down to do so she was grumpy, because I felt rushed during my first order I was unable to ask the questions I needed which led to me placing another order for a salad and a small gluten free pizza exactly like the medium i first ordered (my daughter's ate the whole medium, based on waitresses attitude I wasn't supposed to order anything else). When my friend arrived with her son they were ignored by my waitress. Another waitress brought two tiny plates over for them , friend had to retrieve her own napkins and silverware, when waitress was asked for drinks for friend and her child waitress instead refilled my daughter's cups and mine. She never once attempted to take their drink orders. After a third time asking she brought a glass of water out with no ice. I have eaten at Razzis numerous times in the past when visiting Seattle it was always something we looked forward to. Not sure that is the case anymore. Got the bill only to find out that rather than a small gluten free pizza waitress had ordered another medium one. When waitress was asked about it she snapped at me that I had said I wanted another just like the first when I pressed that I had said I wanted a small just like first she took three dollars off my total threw the bill on table and walked off. My kids were well behaved right up till last five minutes. Which is pretty good for kids. I usually tip well. I didn't tip last night. It was an all together disappointing evening. Throw in me having to run back in for a forgotten item only to hear said waitress complaining about our table. Left me feeling like Razzis has lost some of what made it so special great customer service. Maybe my waitress was having an off night whatever, you do not ignore your table, you do not treat them as tho they are a bother and you'd rather be elsewhere. Every time we have ate there in the past this waitress either was there or waited on us. So I know first hand what her service skills look like when she's engaging and attentive to her table. She was neither last night. I drove two hours to Seattle for multiple Dr appointment's with intention to eat at Razzis to that end I spent three hours on buses (after splitting with friend who carpooled so she could get to her appointment) with two tired hangry children walked numerous blocks, spent $55 bucks on a meal, recommended Razzis highly to my friend who had never ate there only to be met with substandard service. What should have been a treat for my daughter's myself and my friend ended up being an extremely disappointing time. It's a shame, pizza was great no complaints with it, salad meh, service well it was something even Gordon Ramsey would have been hard pressed to not have given a piece of his mind about. what should have been the highlight of our trip was anything but. incredible disappointed and sad over that.

This place was ok... i think better than havin a pizza again from papa johns dominio's or pizza hut... atleast there...

This place was ok... i think better than havin a pizza again from papa johns dominio's or pizza hut... atleast there pasta is good and they serve guiness :) Waitress were hot and they let you hit on 'em ;)

Excellent food and service, will dine there again!

By MattRC |

Service and food was excellent. I had a pasta dish with a white cream sauce that was outstanding and the garlic bread was the best also. The vibe was real Italian and our waitress was attentive just the right amount. When I visit my brother again, there’s no question. We will eat there again.

There aren't many good sit-down pizza places anymore. Romio's makes great, fresh pizza!

A menu for everyone

By dribera |

We ate at Razzi’s Pizzeria before catching a show at the Taproot theatre, which is literally a few steps around the corner. Good basic Italian menu, pastas, entrees, beer and wine, salads. But Razzi has something for everyone, whether you are carnivore, herbivore, omnivore, or non-gluten-ivore. You will find Vegan, gluten- free, organic, and traditional offerings. I have never seen a restaurant that so conscientiously caters to all their patrons. Well done Razzi.

Pizza divine, atmosphere mediocre

By Christa C |

My hubs and I got the garlic chicken Caesar salad and a pizza to share. Both were unique and absolutely delicious. Server was super friendly but seemed to be the only server there. Saw another guy in the kitchen leaning on the counter. That was disappointing as both of our beverages had run dry. We'd def go again for the food on special ish occasions, as the prices were relatively high.

Fantastic little place

By lexie052018 |

I wondered inside after hearing a friend rave about the vegan pizza. I didnt have any expectations as it was on a whim i decided to come inside, but had a fantastic experience. First, I had no idea I was talking with the owner the entire time, he was regarding his regulars all by first name and once finding out my name, didnt forget it once. I thought that was pretty special. The gluten free bread offered while waiting for my takeout was very tasty as well. I wonder if i can just buy a loaf of that? Pizza of course was bomb. You can order from a vegan, gluten free, or vegan/gluten free menu! I chose the latter, because if im going to spend more on pizza, why not. It really was worth it. I cant afford this pizza all the time, but man am i glad i have a guilt free option when i have that pizza craving! Thanks Amir!

Gluten Free glutton fest!!

By mstarling |

My goodness did we stuff ourselves silly!! They offer gluten free and vegan and just about everything for everyone. This pace reminds me of an age old family dining experience. Friendly and efficient staff keep things running smoothly. The gluten free pasta was the real deal- not the boxed stuff other places serve. My husband said his pizza was the best he's had in our 5 years of being gluten free. Definitely a must !!

OK Pizza, interesting toppings

By navzob |

I had pesto chicken and beef delivery pizzas from here. Chicken pizza also had artichoke and sun dried tomato which was a good combination with the pesto sauce. Beef pizza was OK but preferred the pesto chicken.

Outstanding service and food

By Joel M |

Service was top notch. Appetizers were brought out followed in time by tne entrees. Very good. Nice taste to the pasta and marinara sauce. Eggplant was outstanding. Traditional as well as vegan dishes served.

Good Pizza. Nice Patio Out Back.

By Amy V |

We picked Razzi's because it had an extensive vegan menu AND it was open on July 4. Place was SUPER busy with online and take out orders. Felt bad for the manager/counter guy. He was dealing with a lot. We received our order without too long of a wait and the pizzas were very yummy and very big. Couldn't finish them. They have patio seating in the back and sidewalk seating out front.
