You get lured in by the commercials and print ads and the plates and shrimp ate 3/4 the size! The cheesy biscuits are great, they sell the mix in the store. I picked up a box and some real sized crab legs!

We saw some promotions for red lobster and it looked real good , but when it was time to get our food, Wow it was so small portions and the freshness was not there,I know because I am a cook by trade. Hey maybe it was just that day, but I won't go back any time soon,

Good quality food at reasonable prices. Up to normal Red Lobster standards. Extensive menu selections. Parking behind the restaurant.

Well for my first time in a RED LOBSTER i was not that impressed. Yes the service was great, fast and precise and friendly. But the food just did not taste as good as i thought it would. This location decor is very nice.

The portions are small, the service is slow, and the food is just not very good Staff seemed not very interested in us. Food didn't look anything like the TV adds.

Everything was perfect. We think it was probably due to the fantastic server we had...I think her name is Diana. Smart, knowledgeable, friendly and accurate. The lobster my lady ordered and my blackened tilapia was perfect. It's been too long since my last visit to a red lobster. I'll be back!

We flew in from Minnesota, our first time in San Diego. We stopped here for lunch on our first day. Our server Iveria was so enthusiastic that we were here for a vacation; she told us all the places to stop and was such a nice person. We all enjoyed our meals and it was a great way to start our vacation.

Visited here around 3pm. Nice and quiet. Twila was our waitress and was so friendly and helpful. Never had a waitress show so much great caring attention. Highly recommend this restaurant.

I enjoyed my combination meal which was good value. The cheese biscuits are outstanding. My colleagues said their meals were a bit too salty but still good.

My boyfriend and I have been here twice in the last week it's that good! We both ordered the snow crab legs which also comes with a Caesar salad and unlimited freshly baked biscuits - very good value for $20. Service is good and the servers are all friendly.

really confusing menu and the server didn't really help. My husband's beer came to the table and promptly frothed over the top of the glass all over the table. We ordered the Admiral's feast to share and it was all crumbed and deep fried and some of it just crumbing on the plate???? will not go to another

I went their with the family after a long day in San Diego zoo. Clean place with good food. The service was a bit slow. Always check your steak if its cooked as you requested. The price is above the average because of the lobsters.

We came for dinner after a long day of sightseeing & enjoyed a delicious dinner! We had our two young kids in tow and the server was kind and helpful in helping accommodate them! My husband & I both did their set menu and enjoyed our meals!

The meals were delicious and the service exceptional. Especially from Twila who went above and beyond, one of our party had a food allergy so Twila brought the recipe book to the table and helped her choose food without eggs!!

My wife and I had lunch here last Sunday. In spite of it being less than a week before Christmas, service was prompt and efficient, and the food was good. Everything was spot on.

Had to try Lobster Fest before it ended on April 30th. So glad we did. We chose a lobster sampler plate with rock lobster, lobster tail, lobster and shrimp fettuccine, salad and Cheddar Bay Biscuits with salad. absolutely the best Red Lobster Restaurant we ever visited. Very comfortable atmosphere. Our waitress Dani or Danni, was the sweetest most charming server we had in quite sometime. She took her job very seriously and made sure that we had the best dinning experience possible! What a credit to this particular Red Lobster.

Took my husband to Red Lobster for his birthday because he loves the Popcorn Shrimp. We had great service and the food was excellent. We love the biscuits that come with the meal. We hadn't been there in a year because of our work hours but we decided to go back at least once a month for lunch on our day off. The location is very large and has several rooms and great seating.

Usually stay away from chains, but every few years the 'draw' of lobster brings me here. Had the lobster/shrimp/scallop combo and it was ok, just not great. Shrimp are small, scallops are few, and lobster was passable. Nothing really bad, just nothing really good either.

We had an early light lunch, Parrot Isle Coconut Shrimp was lightly breaded in coconut with a delicious dipping sauce. My guest had 10 grilled shrimp on a skewer with 2 sides. Yum! Our peach lemonade was perfect, not too sweet and served in a tall glass. Along with their baked biscuits,we were quite full.

No different than other Red Lobster restaurants where I have dined; standardized menu and usually a standardized lay out. Like a McDonalds, not outstanding but you know what you're going to get when you order.

Never experienced RL before, but its on our MUST EAT list when we are back in Oct 2016. I think hubby fell in love with the chocolate cookie dessert !

I went there with my family (5). We didn't wait, restaurant room is nice, service is perfect. Margaritas are big and delicious. Now the crucial point, seafood, I had a combo salmon, shrimps and lobster tail... Outstanding. We couldn't test desert, not because they didn't seem to be good, but because we were all full. I recommend that place.

I've never been impressed with Red Lobster. Family members wanted to go. Expensive mediocre bland food. Service not impressive - food came before we had chance to eat salad.

Chain Seafood place - however it is very good - new menu with new choices of food. Services has always been good when we have been.

The server was very helpful and accommodating, but the food was a bit disappointing. Some of it was over"breaded" and not particularly tasteful. The salad was fresh and very good. Not sure I would return.

For a chain restaurant you can't fault this one. Our server was very friendly and prompt, the drinks and pre dinner scones were quick and very nice. The food was yum but too much for us so you get the option to have a doggy bag so you don't waste your money. The food that was served to us did look like the pictures on the menu. I would definitely eat there again.

Was on business and just spent two days in the desert 160 miles east of San Diego working 13 hour days outside in 110 degree heat. The best meal I had so far was Jack in the Box. Got in late and took a shower then went to Red Lobster. It was near closing but they were happy to seat me anyway and Dianna was very attentive and never gave me a rushed attitude. Great lobster and great gin and tonic plus great service.

Everything seafood is great here! The lobster, shrimp, fish is all prepared deliciously! Love their salads & bisquits! Love to come and celebrate our family special occasions!

The food was great! They cook the food well and don't take away taste to try to make the food healthy. The service was great, although we went on a slow night. The portions are huge and will provide dinner the next day. I had the Crab Linguini Alfredo. Superb. Real crab. My wife had the shrimp and scallop alfredo with great creamy potato and bacon soup and cole slaw with dessert being the brownie. I had the new sweet chilli shrimp which was amazing. So all the food was fantastic - no complaints. It provided us with lunch as well. The server was quite friendly and attentive. It was a bit pricy. I had the large so it came to $18.99, the 4 course meal my wife had was $16.99 and the starter was $8.75. With drinks and tax (Soda) it came to just over $50. Since it was lunch as well, it is not bad.

Took my mother here for a Valentine's Day Lunch to avoid the evening crowds. Even though I made a 12:30pm reservation, it wasn't crowded which is just the way we like it. We both ordered the Lobster Feast Platter which came with fried flounder, shrimp, clams strips and bay scallops also with mashed potatoes and a ceasar's salad. Before we were half way finished with our salad, the main entree came and when we looked at our platters, we both realized that we would need containers to take home. All the food was great and so was the service. I'm at home writing this review while my stomach is still full. Thank You RED LOBSTER!!!

Needing something light to eat on a tight time schedule we found the Red Lobster bar a perfect solution.

We arrived early on a Monday night so there wasn't any lines and it wasn't too busy fortunately for us! Our server was "Sterling" and he was AWESOME! Attentive but not over-bearing and upbeat and friendly. Our meals were the sole and the Four Course Feast with grilled shrimp, potato-bacon soup and salad. The sole was delicious, not dry, very tasty. The shrimp and soup were cooked perfectly, tasted amazing and were good portions! My only negatives were; the table next to us went unnoticed (with dirty plates, napkins etc) for about 20 minutes that we were there; the server who finally cleaned it was definitely not enjoying the task...Also the ladies restroom was a mess as well; lots of TP on the floor, one stall didn't have TP... With such fine service and excellent food, I hate to note a dirty restroom or disinterested server...

Wanted to go to Phi's BBQ next door and it was packed with a long line. Went here and was seated right away. Food and service was good - had the chowder and coconut shrimp. Plenty of food. Good service.

My wife and son and I went for their Endless Shrimp promotion and it was just as promised. Plate after plate of different types of shrimp we found the tastiest to be the Shrimp Scampi and the Korean BBQ shrimp. The shrimp used are your smaller shrimp so it does not have the rich flavor of larger prawn size shrimp but for $17 for Endless Shrimp it still is a good value. Service was excellent as the restaurant was uncrowded and we were in and out in about an hour even with many rounds of shrimp plates. For people who like to sample shrimp prepared many different ways it hits the spot.

Called in on spec, lunch time mid-week. Place was almost empty so no atmosphere. Service was brisk and food 1st class. It was a promotion and the price was excellent. Looking at the huge menu even without the promotion the prices looked good. Great steak although slightly overcooked. Lobster was delicious.

Ate here the first night of our trip since it was close to the hotel. The food was good but like every other Red Lobster. The service was very good!

Located on a major road (Sports Arena), this restaurant was clean and there was ample parking. Went during Lobster Fess and we had 2 of their specials. The food was very good and reasonably priced. Portions fairly generous when you consider it to be seafood. The greeter and servers were friendly and attentive (may have helped that we ate early around 5:00 so not crowded at all). Red Lobster did run a promotion on line that if you signed up and referred a friend, you get free appetizer or desert. The limit on the freebee was generous (over $10 I recall). Across the parking lot is the famous Phil's BBQ so Red Lobster can be an alternative if the line is too long over there or just a short walk to take out (much shorter line, and you can call your order in).

Had the pleasure of enjoying a dining experience without one complaint! Visited from San Bernardino and I was extremely pleased with my meal and my waitress! Ordered endless shrimp, and everything was Hot and Fresh made to order! Not cold or anything... the food, biscuits, and my drinks. Great Experience Thank You!!!

This was our first first to a red lobster and found everything perfect. Our waiter was attentative And made sure our drinks arrived fast and explaianed the menu and specials. The 4 course special is amazing and so filling,, lobster was tasty and shrimp done to perfection. Desserts were yummy and we'd all left feeling very full

Five of us had lunch at this restaurant on Saturday as an early Mother's Day luncheon for me -- Mother's Day was Sunday and we wanted to avoid the crowd. My 2 sons selected the place. I had the plate which came with 3 shrimp dishes. Unfortunately, Red Lobster is a little on the side of "fast food," so in my opinion it's never really great. To me, this place is similar to a Long John Silvers in food quality but dished up with a really expensive price tag. I think the best part was the friendly waiter, who was attentive and polite. 5 Stars for the waiter, 3 stars for the food = 4 stars overall. 5 extra stars to my 2 wonderful sons for making my Mother's Day really shine!

The waiter was very helpful and polite. Great experience!! The lobster was very good (on Lobster/shrimp/scallop). The fish was also very good. The steak eas a little overcooked but was taken off the bill.

After a tiring day at seaworld, we went to Red lobster for late lunch with two hungry kids. Water and biscuits were promptly served. Our server Elissa is an angel. She provided good information on the food, ensure that food for sharing was plated separately and served with a smile and humor. Great service made this visit stand out even though this is a chain restaurant

We waited for 30 minutes and then waited 45 minutes for food, biscuits uncooked, my lobster tacos were plain with a ton of raw cabbage and a couple of pieces of lobster. Very disappointing. Others in the had steak they were happy with and shrimp but macaroni was pretty poor. Not good value for dinner for sure.

We got seated promptly, the food was good, but the service was the best at least with our waiter Mark. I would definitely recommend coming here and having him as your server. He is very polite and is always checking up to see how you're doing. We had a good time. 5 stars absolutely!

Great lobster Pizza, I had a good time with my glass of wine sitting at the bar talking to the bartenders twin brothers!!!! Very nice and friendly.

Its worth going to Red Lobster just for the cheese scones (biscuits to our US cousins!) which are great. Always good food - my only regret is that I've never yet finished a meal cos of huge portion sizes lol.

We ate here one night on our visit to San Diego I love seafood it was an amazing meal shared the seafood platter with a order of coconut shrimp with a pineapple dip to die for I could just eat it again anytime. The food was great value for money, nice restaurant great friendly staff. I would go again and again if it was near shame its just too far. I would recommend a visit one of those meals that just stand out in your memory we all loved it, please can we get one in England.

I had the 4 course meal which was excellent value for money but my husband had the most expensive seafood platter on the menu and I wouldn't have paid $1 for it! The kids menu is pretty decent. Would I go back - no.

Stopped here for dinner here on a Saturday evening. Surprisingly had no wait. Not too busy but I sat in the bar area. My server was very prompt and friendly offering suggestions when I asked for local car wash. I had the 3 fish tacos on the lunch menu for slightly more than lunch price, but also got 2 sides.

Delicious! Price was reasonable. Right across from the hotel. Service was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Our seafood plates were delicious and pretty large. Service was good. The restaurant appeared to be clean and well kept. Having access to WIFI would have been a bonus!

We arrived late, around 9:30 & expected to be rushed but our server Linda made us feel very welcome and like there was no rush. Our group chose a range of meals - the endless shrimp was fantastic and my husband really enjoyed the lobster and scallops. Refills on our endless shrimp came without even asking for them - more food than we could possibly eat! Linda was witty and extremely good at her job, making suggestions for food and wine choices which were excellent. Our glasses were promptly filled and nothing was too much trouble for her. We thought it was good value for money and know that back home in Australia you wouldn’t get anywhere like this seafood at these prices. Our only negative was one of our party had Lobster bisque which was cool on arrival at the table. Our teenage son was very happy in choosing the endless shrimp!

The stuffed sole is such a wonderful meal choice. You will crave the biscuits and enjoy smiling, efficient servers in a relaxing environment. Red Lobster serves yummy fish at reasonable prices.

My wife and I recently visited the Red Lobster store #0519 on Sports Arena Blvd. in San Diego. We were there to take advantage of their all you can eat shrimp dishes. We decided to have my birthday dinner here so it was mid week this year and not real busy. We were immediately seated at a large table and told of the specials of the day. We decided to start with cocktails and my wife had a Mojito, ($6.29) which was OK and I had the Berry Mango Daiquiri ($7.29) which was outstanding. Both mixed drinks were a lot less then what we would normally pay at most restaurants so this started as a plus. For dinner, we went straight to the special "endless shrimp" dinners. My order was the Habanero Coconut bites, (spicy and really good) and the plain ordinary fried shrimp with a great tartar sauce. My wife had the Shrimp Alfredo and Shrimp Scampi. Both dinners were $16.99 each and well worth it. We also shared a reorder of Teriyaki Shrimp and when were had finished, (barely), not only were we full but really enjoyed the food. Our waitress Rosaloa R was really good, always checking on how we were doing and making good recommendations. In the end, the total bill only came to $51.36 but we were completely satisfied. The wait staff was a plus which contributed to the overall enjoyment of the evening.

This place has great sea food and has a nice sit down dinner. Also the staff are wonderful. Most of these place here are having a hard time keeping and they are not as crowed as the used to be. But if you like low crowed this is the place to come and they are all over San Diego.

This is a mid-range restaurant that charges high prices. They claim to be a seafood restaurant but they offer more shrimp dishes and not a wide assortment of fish dishes. However, my favorite thing to order here is the fish tacos. They are reasonably priced and a good value. The service isn't that great and they often make mistakes with complicated orders so just order the fish tacos and you will be happy. Suggestion: if there is a long line, sit at the bar and order your food. It is a great place to meet new friends.

Thought we would head out a bit earlier given it was Feb 14th. Had only a 15 minute wait before we were seated and had menus in front of us. Hats off the Michael who took such good care of us during the evening. Found food delicious and plentiful I ordered a half portion and cleared it. My wife had the sole and brought a bit back. Maybe we didn't need the coconut shrimp as a starter BUT it was sooooo good. At that point we passed on the dessert although there were a couple which were tempting. We enjoyed our evening there and will have to make it back before we leave here.

We arrived late on Saturday evening and we were delighted with the welcome and no delay for our table for 6. The service and food were both excellent. A great menu with lots of choices. Can highly recommend . Everything was excellent.

Especially in San Diego where we have a multitude of good seafood spots. 6” hot dog roll with two forkfuls of lobster for $10, crazy!

After seeing many commercials for "endless shrimp", I finally decided to go solo and as always, Red Lobster doesn't disappoint. I first ordered the garlic shrimp scampi and the breaded shrimp with asparagus. Before the main entree arrived, I received my diet coke with a caesars salad and four of those cheesy biscuits (um, um good). When the main entree arrived, I wasn't so sure that I'd be able to finish, let alone order more shrimp. But since it was endless shrimp, I did finish and then ordered the Mediterranean shrimp that I really liked also. I was so ready for the shrimp that I didn't think to take a picture of it until it was all gone!! Service was great from beginning to end.

Seafood, steaks, hamburgers and even grilled cheese! Yes, my husband's stomach was uneasy so he ordered a grilled cheese and they were very accommodating. Cheesy biscuits and their seasonal berry dessert are the BEST ! Something that we've noticed a lot of the restaurants are doing now is one or two employees open the door and give you a welcome greeting. The rating would have been excellent except the room we were seated in was freezing cold and they couldn't seem to regulate the temperature. Recommend taking a sweater or jacket. Service and quality of food was excellent.

My wife and I went last night for dinner. I had the Crab special that included king crab legs, other crab legs, and pasta Alfredo with crab. It was delicious and filling (brought some home) and fresh frozen. The King crab legs were large and very "meaty."

I eaten in a lot of Red Lobsgter's and all lhave been clean, well lite, with very good food and excellent service. I look forward to going here on occasion, especially when I am traveling

You get the food you would expect from any Red Lobster, but the service and overall experience here was well above average. Good choice for a decent meal.

They don't advertise this on the main menu, but the Mira Mesa location has North Pacific King Crab legs, which are phenomenal. I've had them there twice, and was extremely pleased both times. I would consider myself a king crab connoisseur, so I was quite skeptical the first time I had them. I would say they are as good as, or even better than what I've had at expensive seafood/steakhouse restaurants. And... the price is unbeatable. $34 for 1.5 lbs... I know Flemings charges ~$55 for one pound... and are not any better... Was very pleasantly surprised!

The food came out perfect. It was the right temperature & it had great taste. I enjoyed the customer service. The one thing the it was the price. It was the cheapest meal that I can get. It was the one I wanted & it's called the Seaside Shrimp Trio. I had it befre & I love it.

We went for dinner, it was my birthday. The hostess greated us with a kind smile and was very curtious when taking us to our table. Our waiter William Sherer was very helpful when taking our order. Not only was he friendly, but also had a little bit of humor. It was a very enjoyable and relaxing atmosphire . We ordered the Admirals Feast, it was delicious. I definately will come back again.

Our visit to Red Lobster, in Southaven, is always great. Waiters are excellent and the food never disappoints. My husband gets shrimp 3 ways, and I always get Admirals Feast. We always have some to take home, because my eyes are bigger than my stomach. We rate it a 5/5. 👌🏻

Haven't been to a Red Lobster before and whilst it is a chain, I was surprised by how good it was. Didn't get off to a great start as I ordered a mocktail which was undrinkable, even on the third attempt it was not great so gave up and went for a normal soda. However they rectified themselves with our food which you could not fault. My colleague had the steak which she enjoyed and I had the crab claws and they were really delicious.

Red Lobster is still a chain, and has a reputation to uphold. This one did. Good food, friendly staff, and good location, close to the airport and hotels. Note: the plated food never looks the same as in the pictures on the promotional menu, and what I got served was really far off. The flavour made up for the lack of appetising presentation. One guest had a request for his order, and it was met with a big smile, so hat's off.

My wife and I celebrated our 36th anniversary dinner at Red Lobster in San Diego. This Red Lobster is quite large with plenty of seating. We had no wait time. Our server was very friendly. She kept our drink glasses full. We never had to wait for anything. The food quality was the normally great Red Lobster level. Cheddar Bay biscuits were hot and fresh. Our dinners were delicious. Served at the right temperature with an ample serving size. Then, as a complete surprise, our server provided us with a free desert to celebrate. It was a perfect end to our evening. We'd both highly recommend this Red Lobster.

On our trip in March 2013, we ate at the Red Lobster Restaurant due to convenience and not allot of restaurants in the area. We are Red Lobster fans. The first visit the items ordered were not bad and similar to the items back home except the crab legs were dry. The second visit I ordered the Rock Island Stuffed Tilapia, which I did not enjoy. Both the men and ladies' rooms smelled and were not very clean.

Had a much better experience here than at a nearby Italian themed restaurant chain on another night. The server was a friendly and efficient young man, aiming to become a police officer. Nothing was too much trouble and the soda refills and cheese biscuits just kept coming My friend had a shrimp dish and liked it. My sea bass was overcooked but it was near closing so forgave them,

You can eat your tasty lobster and shrimp however fish isn't very granted we ordered a salmon fish but can't find it then sword fish and didn't find a fish for the second time the place is fine and the service is good and we met the place manager he is a very nice man compensated us for the missing fish

If you want seafood, this is the place. We were served by Ketia ? who was friendly and happy to run through the menus with us. Our meals were top class and very filling. The biscuits are very Moorish and worth a vist alone. I`d recommend Red Lobster anytime.

It seems that wherever you go for a meal at a Red Lobster will always have a satisfactory experience. Food was great as usual, great server in Taylor W who was both hospitable, and attentive.

Red Lobster has some pretty good specials going on for the crustaceans eaters. The specials make this stop for dinner doable. I feel this establishment is a bit overpriced for the meal you receive but good food.

I can't say I'm very familiar with Red Lobster, but I do typically turn my nose up at chains. Our group ordered 4 course meals for $16.99 or something like that and they were very enjoyable. Had a cup of soup/chowder, a salad, some shrimp and vegetables and a great dessert. I can't complain, it was a good value, attentive service and delicious (if slightly overcooked and over-salted, but otherwise good) food! Kind of a bland, chain-restaurant atmosphere but, that part, I was expecting.

Pretty good seafood, and not at a bad price, but it wasnt the best.. the cheddar biscuits were to die for though! i couldnt get enough, but if you want the best seafood, its probably not the best place...service was great though and there was no wait

The appetizer of Calamari was excellent and the Lobster Bisque was loaded with large pieces of lobster and was delicious. The main course was typical and very good. I tried the seasonal corn on the cob and it was good but was not excellent like I hoped. The service was great and I tipped heavy because of it. In the past year I have eaten at Red Lobster in Ohio, Indiana, Texas, and then San Diego. Best food and best service experience at this location.

the food was very good but the last times i went the service was very poor, seems like i hit the severs break time see them once never again

The family went there for dinner on yesterday night at 8:00 pm. Luckily with reservation made, otherwise, we had to wait for half an hour. The portion size is reasonable and price not very expensive. The menu is with sufficient variety and lobster is the focus. Shrimps are ok but not very tasteful. Last but not the least, the service is excellent.

I was fortunate to have been served by Robert G (according to my bill receipt). He was very attentive and pleasant. He ensured that I took my time and was not rushing me. He was very knowledgeable about the drink and food menus. I ordered the steak/lobster combination with additional side lobster. He suggested several options. As a consumer, I appreciate any tips from my server to get the "best bang for my money". Hope to return soonest.

Yummy shrimp and lobster at reasonable prices! The staff were knowledgable and helped advise us on our first oyster eating experience!

Hadn't been in years (used to go all of the time for lobster fest and the cheese biscuits) because it got so pricey compared to all of the super fresh and cheap and local seafood joints in the area, but we got a gift certificate for Christmas. EVERYTHING except the 1 steamed Live Maine Lobster we got was way too salty and/or over seasoned, even my salad and vegis!! Worst of all, the "kids" crab legs my 6 year old got was not pre cracked or pulled. We spent so much time helping him that our own meals got cold. Also, our server brought my salad WITH my dinner, forgot our appetizer, and neglected to fill my water glass despite me having to directly ask! Too much money for commercially produced food, and bad service. The only reason I didn't give it 1 star is because it used to be good.

Great service. Ordered the lobster from their promotional menu. It did not disappoint at all. Everything was as ordered and came within minutes of being ordered. What more can you ask for!

We don't get to go to Red Lobster where we live so planned this visit as a special treat. What a disappointment. The coffee was lukewarm - the soup was the same! The server was very nice but the service was slow. What you see on TV is nothing like what you get. We can do better for seafood!

We had a large group and had made a reservation. We were all able to sit together (12 of us)., Food was served in a reasonable time and was excellent. Very good service.

This Red Lobster is middle of the pack. It's not the nicest, but not the worst. The food was the same predictable quality and standard fare. The service was excellent.

Took my wife there for her birthday 02022020. The basic order of serving our salads after apps. was skipped and the rude food server helping our waiter said "it's here now" and set our dinner plates down. The waiter came and switched that for our salads. Entree's were not kept hot and not very good after sitting or mic'ed. Sara the manager asked how things were and her canned talk went no-where. No romaine lettuce on my wife's Cesear salad was one yn-answered question. After a un-usual high bill for the limited order our waiter mocked us by saying the brownie he offered for my wife's special day would be taken off the bill. Terrible mistakes on their part and not the decency to make it better. I was heart-broken as a husband wanting my wife to have a good experience on Her Day. Beware of that location, hope others are much better. Michael

Took my husband here for his bithday. He loves the popcorn shrimp and biscuits. Our server Chris offered outstanding service. We will return soon and ask for Chris to be our server.

We nearly gave up on getting in when we saw the lineup of people waiting, but the staff were excellent and thanks to their good service we waited in the bar trying out some cocktails that were amazing. A great start to our family meal and the food was excellent, cooked to perfection and plenty of it. We literally waddled out a couple of hours later and our waitress was amazing and very helpful and friendly too.

We visited the place in San Diego it's very charming with nice music You can enjoy the different kind of shrimp plus the lobster however the fish there isn't granted as it finish ASAp the service there is very nice and if u didn't find your fish they will compensate you

We were not impressed with the service or the food. We eat at RL at many locations and this one was below average in taste and service. Would not return to this location.

Red lobster is a restaurant that its delicious, when I went I ordered a special lobster with some sauce apart of the food, also I ordered a soda and when I finished I ate a desert, the desert was ice cream with strawberry jam

The seafood here is great. The service is good and there is something on the menu for everyone. We like the Mira Mesa location best but others are really good too. They all have full bar service and the prices are reasonable.

The restaurant is amazing like all Red Lobsters. If you order one entré for each one, you will probably have a lot a food and a big check (U$100.00/couple for the food). My advice is: order a big one (platters or feast) for the couple and share. This way you won't feel bad for eating to much and it will not be a expensive dinner (U$50.00/couple).

I have been going to this restaurant for over 15 years. Every time I go, the food is just great. If you like lobster bisque, lobster tail and crab legs, you will be delighted! The service is great and you will be so full when you leave. Love it.

Great service, good price. You can't go wrong with red lobster. Our Marine had not had RL for over three months and this was one place on his list to eat on his free day! Walking distance of our hotel too!

I've eaten at a few RL in my day. This place was ok nothing major to brag about! The greeter was nice and pleasant, our waitress was nice and attentive. I had the wood fire lobster, scallops, & shrimps on pilaf rice. I asked for pasta instead of rice..I did receive a bunch of dry noodles on my plate and the broccoli wasn't good..no taste..discolored ( like either cooked to long or not fresh). I complained about my noodles and she gave me a cup of sauce for the noodles...that was a help...My salad... once I removed all the brown core of the lettuce was decent, I've definitely had better salads w/less mess in them at RL. The biscuits are always delish! Will I return...prob but I will be extremely careful about what I order!

This is a nice looking, big family restaurant. We had a decent meal there - the reason I have given it an average rather than a good was it wasn't that cheap and I found the food a bit too salty. A nice enough place for a family meal and service was prompt and courteous.

We came here after kayaking all day. We were starving and wanting something we were use to. The wait to be seated was really long. After about forty five minutes we were seated. Once we were seated, the drinks and food came quickly. The server was attentive. We were never without a drink. All together it was good and we would come back.

We had dinner there on Monday night and everyone working there made it more enjoyable. Smiles and friendly. Our server was Brian A. & was very attentive, quick and the kind of server you want at every restaurant. He was busy too with other tables and he was impeccable, well groomed, well mannered, polite and good looking. Waters were kept filled and food and appetizers were fresh tasting and warm. We had the endless shrimp dinner. Baked potato was perfect crammed with butter, sour cream and shredded cheese. The salad was your normal salad. We had fried shrimp, shrimp scampi and the shrimp and noodles with white sauce which was rich with flavors. Their biscuits melted in your mouth. We'd definitely go back again. Had a nice booth. The only thing is that the bathroom could be kept up a little better. Sorry some customers make such a mess. Some tables needed to be bused and wiped down, but overall it was a great experience. I'd hire Brian to work in any dining experience.

The wait was not long to be seated. The waiter was excellent. Very attentive to our needs and order. The food was hot and tasty. Specially the corn muffin. The price was reasonable.

My husband and I had dinner there yesterday. We also had our baby, who happens to be under two years old. Our waitress, Malicai seemed to be annoyed at our son. He is in the stage of getting molars, so he is a little ornery, but wasn't terrible. Granted she doesn't know that he's going through that, but she didn't even make an attempt to provide good customer service. I felt like she couldn't wait for us to leave. He wasn't crying, just a bit antsy. She may or may not have kids, but if she ever has them and someone treats her that way, maybe she'll remember how she treated us. I love my son with all my heart and it is very hurtful when people treat him as an annoyance. She could have at least faked it... As a frequent visitor of Red Lobster and San Diego, I will not be visiting that establishment again.

The food was very good and we had a great time because our waitress Linda was super entertaining. The table behind us was being quite rude but she never stopped smiling and being polite to them. Despite the needy neighbors,,,she made our stay pleasant and will come back for future visits.

Everything at this restaurant tasted a little better than others I've been to. The biscuits were fresh, hot and tasty. The salad was big with fresh ingredients. The entrees were plentiful, tasty and hot. The waitress checked on us at just the right times. It was just starting to get busy when we were there, but still seemed intimate. Overall very pleased.

It seems that whereever you go eating at a Red Lobster will also satisfy your experience. Food was great as usual, great waiter who are hospitable.

Decided to eat at Red Lobster, soo glad I did, food was delicious even though I was feeling a little sick this day. I really wanted the eat as much shrimp that the rest of my family had but just couldn't handle it. It was about $15 a person, and you just order and order and order with all different sides. Good value for money. If I could complain it was due to the fact I felt cold due to the air conditioning lol, some of us are never satisfied.

This place is dirty, smelly old carpets, bathroom stinks, food very bad! Clam chowder tasted more of cornstarch than cream and clams, ordered Admiral's feast and tasted more of flour than shrimp so did other the fried foods on the plate, lobster pizza somewhat ok. Paid over $50.00 for the a nightmare lunch! Our server was nice though.

Nice and quite, comfortable, clean and well prepared and moderately priced. We enjoyed a huge choice of seafood on the menu and our server was very attentive. We would eat here again.

What a great experience and great food!! Our waitress was so good and very nice!! She made our visit very nice! Our food came out hot and good! the drinks were good. Altogether this is a really great place to eat at!!!

I arrived at the restaurant about 6pm, it was not busy at all, and I could see many empty tables from the waiting area. We were seated soon enough, but you would think service would be prompt when it's not busy. Our waiter took our orders, and around 6:30 we received our appetizers - but we had no utensils. Our waiter did not come back to check on us for so long that we decided to just eat our appetizers with our fingers (mussels came with a little fork to take them out so that wasn't so bad, and stuffed mushrooms aren't so messy anyway). At 7pm our waiter finally came by to check on us and we asked for utensils. Our entrees did not get to us until 7:45. Waiter checked on us once or twice. Two hours at a Red Lobster because it took so long to get our food, to get utensils even, and with an inattentive waiter. Often you find reviews on sites like these that sound like they've just been written by pedantic customers who make vague complaints that are probably singular to the reviewer's perception, i.e. - "I didn't like the waitress' attitude." But I swear I am sincere when I say I sat in that restaurant for two whole hours with poor service. Who wants to spend two whole hours in a Red Lobster? No one, that's who. Since our service was so terrible, I decided the waiter didn't deserve more than a $1 tip and I left it floating in my upside-down water glass (handy trick for bad service).

The clam strips were clam strip scraps and not many of those. The French fries were under cooked - especially unfortunate when I asked for crisp. Offering to get me another batch doesn't help... I don't want them after I finish my meal. The kitchen may have not cooked them enough for even regular serving but the server/bartender should have looked at them when he brought them out. The server is always the final check before the plate gets put down in front of the customer. There was one other person at the bar so being busy is no excuse. The appetizer and meal came out before I could even finish the salad.

The cheesy warm rolls are the BEST and I overloaded on the carbs but well worth it! Service was excellent as was the Filet Minon. Yes, we had a steak at Red Lobster instead of seafood and it was delicious! Our server, Hailey, had many tables but gave us a lot of personal attention and was quite efficient in handling everyone's requests including ours. Red Lobster shares a parking lot with Phil's BBQ so parking can be challenging at dinner time.

Never get tried of their biscuits.... I love all their food especially the shrimp. Staff is always friendly and the price is reasonable.

Having dinner in Red lobster was a joy. Shrimp and lobster were fresh and well cooked. Also, the garlic bread was tasty.
