When you order oatmeal and an egg and pay over $20, that's a bit 'rich'... Our waitress was very nice and the food was just fine. But pricing there is excessive (in my opinion). They serve a buffet on weekends but at $27 + an automatic 'price adjustment/tax of an additional 3%) we opted not to go for it. The fare in the brunch is varied but nothing notable. Just the basics. Sadly, there wasn't a nice mid-priced breakfast sit-down option at the Hyatt Regency. The next option was their "Market" which is grab and go only.

I have eaten here quite a bit as a result of a wedding I am attending at the adjoining Hyatt Mission Bay Hotel. This restaurant is actually quite good, but holy smokes is it overpriced. Oh well....it's a hotel restaurant so I will take that it is good an expensive over the alternatives, bad and expensive, or bad and not as expensive! So, that's fine. The salad greens are wonderful and the chicken I had for dinner last night was PERFECTLY cooked. Everyone seems to be doing interesting things with brussels sprouts and these guys have their own side dish that was really lovely. The service is attentive and professional and the view is great. If you're at the Hyatt and have cash to burn, feel good going here, you'll find something delicious.

This was a Valentine's Day dinner date. You know, a meal and evening that is supposed to be flawless. It wasn't. Instead, it was sad. But not all bad. 1. Service was slow. Not a little slow. Not annoyingly slow. Obnoxiously slow. 2 and 1/2 hours to complete the meal. 2. It was a fixed price menu, with two choices for most courses. They were out of some choices by 7:30 pm. 3. First course was served cold. But after waiting 40 minutes, we did not object. 3. Entree was brought before second course. It was rejected and second course was requested. 10 minutes later the second course shows up. An hour later the rejected entrees return, both dried out and lukewarm. They were rejected. 4. Unbelievably, they returned the same twice rejected entrees ten minutes later. Reheated. At that point I requested the manager. He said and did the right things. He offered sincere apologies. He said he had told the kitchen not to reheat the entrees (apparently the chef does not mind the manager). He had the entrees replaced. He bought us another round of drinks. When we asked for the bill he presented it with a 30% discount and an assortment of chocolate covered strawberries for us to take home. The good news is that the scallops and filet mignon replacements were prepared perfectly. The second course, a variant on fried green tomatoes, was delicious. The chef can cook if he puts his mind to it. They made a Manhattan with maple syrup that was quite good (although they had run out of the syrup when I requested a second). I will return. They showed enough promise to warrant a second try. But on a non-holiday. They don't seem able to handle stress.

We ate breakfast everyday the variety was sometimes repetitive but good overall, Dinner was exceptional with great quality food served.

I was here for dinner with my in-laws who were staying at the hotel. The view was fabulous. The food was just so so. We all shared the octopus and it was not great, rubbery. My steak was nice. Everyone else had fish. For a restaurant located on the water, the rest of our group reported the fish was not great. It was also very expensive.

Food was forgettable...4 of the 5 in our party were not impressed. However, our waiter was excellent!

Really mediocre. We were staying at the Hyatt for our birthdays (our birthdays are on the same day!). Hyatt was great. First, I tried to call them twice to see if they had a corking fee, and all I got was a voice greeting and to leave a message. Then, I called the front desk and they put me through to the same voice greeting. Called front desk again and they were able to tell me the corking fee. $25 in case you were interested. We had reservations. Setting is beautiful. Food very mediocre. Bland. Server was efficient but could care less. Really blah. Just doing his job. Restaurant was slow, maybe 8 tables. I would have thought that 2 birthdays would result in one free dessert at this place, but not the case. We paid for one dessert. Not that we asked but they knew we were celebrating 2 birthdays. Not a big deal, just an overall overpriced restaurant that is not worth it. It is a pricey place but really was not stellar.

Looked up the reviews and they where good for me to have a great dinner. Service was outstanding!!!! Food presentation, so beautiful, and most important that all of our glasses where full at all time. I recommend the steak!!!! Done perfect!

buffet was full of options, but it was rather expensive. Service was good. Lunch was average quality, but expensive. After the 1st day (stayed 6 days) never stepped into the place.

While staying at the Hyatt Regency Mission Bay, I had two evening meals at Red Marlin. Overall I have to give it 3 stars/average. I think the service was great, and the location/view very nice, but the food was just average. Nothing wrong with it, just not memorable. Although I did enjoy eating here, I was longing for something a little better.

It was a great breakfast spot. We ate there twice both were great experiences. The buffet was a great deal for my granddaughter she loves fruit and waffles and toast so she was in heaven. Any person could have been in heaven with the assortment of food offered. A very good breakfast spot for sure.

The service is not great at all, not very kid friendly food and the cashier at the point was extremely rude.

This restaurant has beautiful views of the marina and bay. The food was delicious. The service was excellent. I dined alone but was made to feel very welcome.

The Red Marlin has a great location by the marina, and is a good choice when you dont want to leave the marina and head in to town. However, the menu is limited and very pricy. They serve a great breakfast (we had this included in our stay at the Hyatt). The dinner has a kid buffet (great option, but limited to spaghetti and meatballs and fruit and cookies). Service was fine.

We ate here every morning for a week while staying at the Hyatt. There is a buffet and also a la carte options for breakfast (that is the only meal we had at the restaurant). The buffet is really great with tons of fresh fruit, berries, egg dishes, pastries, oatmeal, and salmon. If the weather is warmer, sit on the terrace. If not, then there is still a wonderful view of the marina from nearly everywhere in the restaurant. The staff were very sweet and always remembered my family and our drink choices.

I had 2 breakfasts here, both were a la carte - no choice in that, so service was a bit slow. However the food was very tasty and big portions. At one point the waiter was about to give me my bill before he gave me coffee as I had previously told him I like my coffee at the end of breakfast. He quickly took the bill back before fully giving it to me, gave me my coffee then quickly gave me my bill (or check as they say in America). They add a Tip automatically to your bill of 18%, plus the mandatory tax plus a 3% RM Wage fee. At the bottom of your bill it says the 3% RM Wage fee is "a 3% surcharge to help offset the cost of State and City minimum wage increases".

During my conference we ate at this facility multiple times and with very mixed reviews. We had a breakfast where our group from Maine ordered the waffle which came with real maple syrup to be bummed out because it was warm Aunt Jemima. Major let down. We ordered a margarita and found so much salt in the bottom of the glass that is nearly killed the flavor of the drink. Sent it back 2 more times saying no salt and on every return trip had salt. Service was ok. Food was just ok. Nothing special. Orders were screwed up on multiple occasions so again not great. View was well worth it and sitting outside at night with the heaters was a nice touch. Worth the visit based on convenience if staying at the Hyatt resort.

A little bit on the pricey side but not too much so. Private dining areas are available. Nice view of the marina.

our server was very helpful. pam was her name. nothing was too much trouble gor her. she was very personable. the food was also excellent, both our breakfasts and our dinners.

I was so shocked at how expensive this place was (captive travelers,as there isn't much else close to the hotel),and the food was horrendous! I ordered the prosciutto wrapped halibut. Ideas of getting a lively piece of delicate white fish wrapped on a think piece of prosciutto,I was given a charred piece of dark grey fish that was placed in a milky broth to try and moisten it up!!! I took a bite, and sent it back. They asked me if i wanted something else, and I'm thinking 'are you kidding'?? I wouldn't let my worst enemy spend hard earned money in this place

We recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency in Mission Bay with a large family. We loved having meals at the Red Marlin and would return even if we don't stay at the Hyatt. We did mostly dinners and everything was great. We also liked the desserts and drink selection.

Friendly staff and very clean. A bit pricey but the food is good. Really nice outdoor seating. Was with a group and all were pleased with their meals.

We went because we were staying at the Hyatt and didn't want to drive into town. The patio was very nice overlooking the marina. Our waiter was very attentive and nice. The chowder was mediocre. It had lumps of flour in it. :(. Had a so cal Caesar with grilled shrimp. The shrimp was good but I didn't think cumin was a great taste to have in a Caesar salad. Maybe that's just me. The greens and veggies were fresh and crisp. The bread and butter was tasty. Prices here are sky high. We thought it was very overpriced for what it was. $50 for 2 salads and a chowder.

We tell here three times on our stay in San Diego. Crab Roll and Angus Burger both were really good. Dinner sea scallops with risotto minus mushrooms for me) and New York steak with fresh asparagus and fingerling orators. Sooo good. Highly recommend the raspberry lemon drop. Ask for Tammy. She is an excellent waitress.

I enjoyed a nice dinner here whilst staying at the Hyatt on a business trip. The wait staff were very attentive and professional, making sure my needs were attended. Food was great and the atmosphere very pleasing with views of the marine to enjoy.

We were invited to dinner there by Diamond resorts so i did not see a regular menu. The food was okay. Steak overdone. Nice place overlooking the marina. Heard it is very ex[pensive.

Wrapped in prosciutto. Tender and flavorful. The accompanying vegetable purée was profoundly dull and flavorless.

After being out on a boat our large group had a reserved lunch date. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the weather and view. The the food was good but a bit spotty in meals showing up together, one gal had to wait 10 minutes after everyone else.

There isn’t much around the Hyatt Mission Bay, so we were forced to go to the Red Marlin. We sat at the bar as we were too casually dressed for a dining room experience. The barman was friendly and knowledgeable and kept good energy even though he was quite busy. We shared a few appetizers and a main. All of them were incredibly tasty, so much so we returned the next night and did the same. Try the melt in your mouth crab cakes and the brussel sprouts. Will definitely return!!

This restuarant is located next to the Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa and Marina. It has great views of the Marina and especially convenient if staying at the hotel. The food was excellent and coffee topped up frequently. I only wish we had visited when they have a buffet. Menu was a bit small but every item was excellent. Highly recommend.

I had breakfast here twice during a hotel stay. The wait staff was wonderful. The food choices were great, and they made it easy for my gluten free friends. The view was beautiful. Highly recommend as a splurge -- it was very expensive!

We had the filet one night. It was expensive but perfectly cooked with interesting sides. We also had the fish tacos for lunch one day and those were good. I had the eggs benedict one morning and it was not so good. Service several times was slow. Bus boys were good.

I drove down to Mission Bay to meet a friend for lunch. We picked this spot for the view. We were promptly seated at a nice window table. Our server gave us just the right amount of time to select our lunch. The food was brought by another person, a runner, I suppose. My So-Cal Caesar was quite good although a bit over dressed. My friend had the Swordfish Tacos, which she loved. Then it got weird. We weren't half way through when the server brought us each our bill in separate folios. WE WEREN'T DONE EATING, nor had we indicated separate checks. I had planned on buying my friend's lunch. Oh, did we want coffee or perhaps a desert? We were NEVER asked. The server never returned to our table, however we could see her looking at our table to see if we had paid. Yet another person came to take our credit cards, which we did not put out until we were finished with our lunch and conversation. To say we felt rushed is an understatement. The restaurant was not crowded, so we were flummoxed as to why.

I ate here two evenings -- once at the bar and once in the dining room. Service in the dining room is more attentive. The nice thing about the bar is you may be able to order a burger and fries (seems to depend on the chef staff that evening) if you want a simple meal, whereas in the dining room you will be restricted to a more formal (and pricier) menu. My meals, on both occasions, were good but nothing to rave about.

This used to be an upscale place to eat. Today it is overpriced food with a limited menu. The chef(s) don't seem to care about what they prepare and send out to the tables. Very disappointed.

We were staying at the hotel and there are limited options in walking distance so we thought we would try it. We ordered take out. The menu was limited due to COVID. We had a Southwest Bacon burger and short ribs. The burger was very good with a home baked bun and natural cheese. The short rib was good, it came with a nice polenta and asparagus. The asparagus were huge, the fattest I have ever seen, not too tender though. For dessert we ordered a chocolate mousse and a carrot cake. When I got back to the room, they gave us a chocolate mouse and a chocolate mouse. It was pretty good except you could feel the high gelatin content in your mouth. but still satisfying. What was annoying was a 4% surcharge on the bill. At the bottom of the receipt it said the surcharge was to offset the minimum wage increase. Why don't you just raise the price 4%? Are you making a political statement? This is October and the last minimum wage increased was enacted in January. It feels dishonest. I believe that they are bringing the attention of the public to the crazy increases in minimum wage. After seeing a couple other restaurants in town with the same surcharge, it may be more common in San Diego than where I come from. It feels a little less annoying.

love the location, food, and staff. out door table are very nice as minus have many option to choice from. fresh breakfast, lunch and dinner. at night eating by patio fire pit give very romantic feeling +waring so you can chat as long as you like.

I shook my head when I got this response to my question asked of the server to describe the local craft beers. I wasn’t asking if she drank beer, I simply asked about the differences in their tastes. A better answer would be, “Sorry I don’t know, but let me check.” It was a lovely partly cloudy spring day in the San Diego area when my wife and I came across the “Red Marlin” restaurant located at the Hyatt in Mission Bay. Great location with beautiful outdoor vistas over the bay and marina. Sure, there were lots of aircraft departing San Diego International airport and flying overhead. But that wasn’t annoying at all. All of this was made more amusing by a sea gull walking strategically along the restaurant roof line overlooking the outdoor deck ready to pounce on any crumb of anything. The food was competent. We both had the crab salad roll on brioche. The Brioche bread was delicately toasted and heavenly. I had mine with chips that were delightfully crispy and my wife enjoyed hers with a cucumber and tomato salad. Some sloppy work in the kitchen meant that that a couple of the cherry tomatoes still had the leaves attached, despite the fact that all had been dressed. When we asked for the bill, our serve had another surprise remark, “Are we charging this to our room?” We resisted answering “Sure, if you’d like to put that on your room, that’d be nice.” Okay it was easy enough to understand what she meant, but maybe some basic communication skills training would be useful.

Really good service and very tasty food. Prices are about average and thankfully never a crowd. It's a great place to eat in Mission Bay!

Had the blackened swordfish, very good as was salad and service. Wine list reasonable priced, with a decent selection. Will go again when in town

We were staying at the Hyatt and didn't want to drive anywhere so we decided to have our anniversary dinner here. It was lovely. We had a nice outdoor table with a view. There was live music playing and the service was exceptional. Our food was delicious too. It was a steep corkage fee but we were able to bring a special bottle of wine for us.

Received free coupon for the breakfast buffet after we shared our horrible travel story with our check in agent. The buffet was amazing! High quality, scrumptious foods everywhere. We returned for lunch before we flew out the next day and enjoyed another fabulous meal! Best part of the trip!!

The hotel doesn't have nearby restaurants so I didn't have much of a choice. I am glad however that I had my meal at Red Marlin, despite the mediocre reviews it had received on Yelp. I had a clam chowder soup and a grilled yellowtail for my entree. Both were superb. The service was very good and the ambience was pleasant. The views from the restaurant are spectacular. The seating outside offers even better views, when the weather permits. I strongly recommend giving it a chance.

The food here was good and the service was good, but its an old restaurant that seems to be trying to be classier than they are. They are way overpriced. For example their breakfast buffet is $28 but is nothing special. It has good food, but just the basic items. I would take a Marie Calendars buffet for $16 over than one hands down. They do have a nice view and as stated prior the food is good and the staff friendly. I just think there are better options for the money.

Five stars. I gave you five stars because restaurant was really good. I would like to come here again. I ordered pancakes it taste delicious.

Close to the Dana. Had 2 dinners here with excellent cocktails and service. Frank was our server on both nights - outstanding server.

enjoyed the steak and potatoes - very good - but really liked the mixed green salad with nuts and goat cheese. the cheesecake for desert was served too cold - had no flavor.

While at the Hyatt went over and enjoyed a nice breakfast. Due to Covid had to pick up and eat outside. Really mice view.

Every time I stay at this hotel, which is every other year over a 10+ year period, I always eat at the Red Marlin. While I would rather try to get out of the hotel to explore other places to eat in the surrounding area, dining here at least once never disappoints. Their menu options are good. The food price is not oppressive and the service is very, very good!

very nice place, right on the marina, good food and service a little pricey but worth it. I will visit again.

We had lunch and dinner at the restaurant and although the menu is small, the selections are great and taste wonderful. Their homemade potato chips are superb! I wanted to take some home with me.

My wife and I took a long weekend and stayed at the Regency Hyatt. Dining options are limited in that area for breakfast. We went to the Red Marlin on the last day of our trip and wished we had gone there for breakfast the entire trip.

This is a great place to have breakfast in Mission Bay. It's a bit of a schlep at the hotel but worth the walk.

We dined in Red Marlin because I bought a Groupon for $89 valued at $149. I considered this to be a fairly expensive restaurant. I was very disappointed in the decor and the casualness of the place. There are no table clothes and the wine glasses are cheap and heavy. People were drinking beer out of cans and were dressed in beach/pool attire. The decor was non existent. Most of the food has an Asain flair. I had a type of caprese salad and I felt the dressing (not balsamic) was salty and not to my liking. My husband had a lettuce wedge with blue cheese which he said was very good. We both had seared scallops on a bed of risotto which was very good. I probably would not go back as I feel that a meal that cost over $100 should be presented in a nicer surrounding. Maybe I'm being a snob but that's my take on this place.

it was better than expected , made reservation on Opentable and the staff was spot on from the lovely young lady at the desk to the wait staff. The clam chowder was the best I have ever had and we have a home in Cape May New Jersey.I hope to go again. One thing that was missing was some background music .

Our conference catered cocktails and dinner here one evening. While we may not have experienced the full dining menu; this was not your usual "chicken dinner". The entrees included a chicken breast with cream sauce and broiled flank steak. The veggies and sides were wonderful as was the soup and bread. Great cocktails and wines with dinner. Deserts were wonderful as well. The tables allow everyone to have a great view of the marina and the sunset. It was truly a great way to spend time with a group getting to know people over good food.

Beautiful views (including sunset) of Mission Bay and Marina. Excellent happy hour menu and prices. Lunch menu a little pricey ($13 salad). Dinner was outstanding.

I read mixed reviews before eating here but I was very pleased with the food. I got the scallops and they were delicious. My husband had steak which was also well cooked and delicious! The atmosphere was relaxed and the service was outstanding. We were traveling with a 8 month old baby and they were very accommodating. I would definitely recommend this place!!

An absolutely outstanding dinner. The freshest of fish prepared perfectly with outstanding flavor. Service was good and attentive.

Right by the marina, and open to hotel guests for breakfast and other meals - this is a highly recommended area. The staff is wonderful, and the dishes are thoughtfully prepared.

They make the food look pretty but taste wasn't all that great and prices were outrageous. Best thing about dinner was dessert (they must have a separate pastry chef). The meal itself was not that well prepared. Breakfast food was okay but way overpriced. Waffle with a few berries was $14 or $15.

Very good food and a great location overlooking the yacht club. Had dinner there twice, the seafood, especially the Grouper and the scallops were excellent along with the cocktails.

I ate at Red Merlin several times during a week stay at the Hyatt - 1 dinner, 3 lunches and 5 breakfasts. I wasn’t overly impressed with the dinner menu. I ordered the Ciopinno; it was good, but not overwhelming and served a bit too hot. Breakfasts were serviceable, if expensive. I enjoyed the granola parfait quite a bit. Lunch was the best of the three meals. The prices were reasonable for a hotel. The fish tacos were messy, but delicious, and the chicken Cesar wrap was a good choice. The French fries available with lunch were amazing. They are slightly spiced wedges cooked perfectly, and I could eat them every day.

Beer selection was good. Had a hazy unfiltered IPA that was absolutely smashing, I wish could say the same of food. More to point food presentation was good, but it was the sea bass which was very meaty, almost chicken like. Waiter commented probably local sea bass not like Chilean sea bass, that's supposed to be flakier.

The restaurant had items labeled as gluten free on the menu (and not just salads). The lettuce wrapped burger was good. I braved the fries since they didn’t seem to have a lot of deep fried items for cross contamination - I did okay with them so, yay!

Stoped in for quick dinner. Had delicious Brussels sprouts and water. Not used to such amazing service when I just order a side. Charlie was the best server I have had in a very long time. I value a unionized staff which is why I ate here and not down the road. I also generally have good service from union wait staff but Charlie was exceptional!

We took the Mission Bay Cruise and afterwards stopped here for a quick bite and drink. The staff are excellent and very passionate about serving you. The clam chowder was delicious and drinks were good as well. I recommend this place for anything you desire.

My boyfriend and I stopped in for a quick lunch after deep sea fishing. The service was pleasant and we were seated outside on the deck which was nice. We both ordered burgers and although the presentation was appealing, the taste was just meh. I wasn't at all impressed. It tasted like something I could've whipped up on the grill at home, which doesn't say a whole lot for my grilling skills.

The restaurant is part of the Hyatt Mission Bay hotel which offers beautiful views of the bay and marina. You can get some great local seafood here but be prepared to pay over the odds for it. Nice wine list to accompany the food and the staff and service are very, very good.

After reading the reviews and checking the Red Marlin Restaurant, we arranged to go to Happy Hour which the web said was from 3 - 6pm. Arriving at 5 pm with husband and 2 children in tow, we asked the hostess when the happy hour ended. 6pm was the reply. She then proceeded to seat us, gave us the Happy Hour menu, and departed. Within minutes, another woman appeared shaking menus at us and told us we'd been given the wrong menus. What do you mean I asked? She replied that we should have been given the dinner menus. I stated that we were there for happy hour. You should have been given the dinner menu she replied. She then said, "The same things on the happy hour menu are on the dinner menu." Oh? I asked. At the happy hour price?? She then fudged and ultimately I called her out on it. No we'd have to pay the dinner price. Why? We want to pay the happy hour price. Well the happy hour has changed and now it ends at 5 pm. Not what the hostess said, we replied. She's wrong. Your website says otherwise. It's wrong. That's not our problem. I then asked to speak to the manager. The woman Lynne, who had seated us appeared. What can I do for you? Seriously?? You don't know what server #2 has been saying? She then agreed that things had transpired the way I said but that the website was wrong. That's not our problem I stated. You just can't say yes happy hour is until 6 pm and then just say oh well, today it's been chenged by an hour. After discussing that this amounts to bait and switch - they lure you in saying one thing and then they tell you, oh no we wrong, - prices are higher because happy hour no longer ends at 6 we've shortened it to 5. They then said via Lynne that they would give us a discount if we ordered anything off the dinner menu. We then placed order for 2 kids meals and 2 pizzzas. Which we then changed to 2 kids meal and appetizer for wife and mother. Swordfish for Dad. The meals came and then checks. Kids salmon was half raw. We paid happy hour price for ceviche and chowder and everything else was charged at the dinner rate. We are supremely unhappy. We had gotten dressed up, taken the kids, and had been looking forward to a good evening Instead we were treated rudely, lied to, and made to feel most uncomfortable. Rather than get into it again with Lynne and the waitstaff we just paid the bill and left. I would advise anyone considering the Hyatt's Red Marlin to look elsewhere, where they will appreciate your business and the effort you make to support them #hyattmanagement #redmarlin

Popped in to have a quickie lunch before flight back to UK. Had BEST cup of tea (big mug actually) since we been in America (21 days) but the service was very welcoming and pleasant. Pam who served us was like you're Mom checking to see you're ok. The food was good for lunch, too much for us but generous portions and tasty. Definitely worth dropping in when in area, value for money, rare these days !

This restaurant was located a short walk from my room at the Hyatt. I ate there twice over a 4 day stay and enjoyed both meals. Nice wine and cocktails menu, NY strip was delicious and our waiter was very attentive. The restaurant itself has a nice layout, located on Mission Bay with awesome views all around. Highly recommend for date night with your SO, or getting colleagues together for a happy hour and/or dinner.

Food was delicious. Choices were delectable and not too many - sign of good eatery. Loved the suggested pairings. Service was helpful and attentive. Ideal spot for watching sunset!

It being 1400 and not wishing to spoil my appetite for dinner in the evening, I ordered a bowl of clam chowder. Not only was it filling with its delicious fresh bread but it was the best I've ever had! It came with a sprig of fresh cilantro which I'd never experience before but hope to experience many times again. A quaff of a locally brewed ale made my day!

We stayed at the hotel for two night at the end of our west coast tour and just wanted to chill out so we were out sight seeing during the day then came back to the hotel each evening and ate at the Red Marlin. The menu was quite small however there was enough choice for two night. The food was delicious with a good selection of wine. The service we received was excellent.

Had lunch here during a conference. Sadly, they sent out soda that was flat and a very light brown color. Luckily, they corrected it and didn't charge for it. Salad with salmon was pretty good but nothing spectacular. This place has a nice view of the marina - would be memorable when the weather is nice.

This restaurant is in a separate building on the Hyatt Regency Mission Bay property. There's a wonderful view of the cove and marina. I had breakfast there twice. Food and service were excellent.

Stayed at the Hyatt and tried the Red Marlin on the Bay. Excellent seafood. My wife and I shared the side of brussel srpouts and salad. The brussel sprouts were grilled and were excellent. My wife had the lobster risoto; outstanding. It even had a huge piece of lobster in the shell. I had scallops. I love the seared scallops with some sort of light toppings. Great venue near the pier.

We were staying at the Hyatt Regency hotel and when to the Red Marlin restaurant located on the wharf. The food and service was very good. We had a couple of cocktails an to our surprise they were excellent. I would consider the restaurant fine dining for dinner, however they do serve breakfast in the AM that was pretty good for the cost.

It was 27 per person for basic breakfast options. They had pancakes, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, oatmeal and fruit. It included orange juice and coffee. It was good but for that price I expected an omelet station and more breakfast options. The views were excellent.

This is a hidden gem even for locals. Creative food, good menu, nice location overlooking harbor. $$

We ate outside on the pier. It was nice. Very romantic. Lots of other couples there. There are fire pits if you get chilly. The food was ok. The service was excellent.

The restaurant is located next to the water but they will only seat you by the marina and not on the other side with the sunset view (very strange). Lunch was great and so was the service so we decided to try dinner. We should have just stuck with the lunch fond memories and tried another restaurant for dinner. The lobster was over cooked, the lentils were tasteless and the jalapeno sauce did not belong with the yellow-tail. Asked for bottled water and we were given a bottle of water w/ a glass to pour it into. I know we are a little over weight but we had to ask for a dessert menu and then we had to ask for our check. The dinner staff was very inexperienced and did not pay attention to our dinning needs. The manager asked us how we were doing and when we gave him our thoughts he didn't know how to respond; although he did admit he was new. There seems to be an overall vibe of laissez-faire at the Hyatt hotel and the Red Marlin restaurant and it is a shame. They don't appear to be too interested in customer service or service recovery. Take a look at the responses from the manager in regards to the hotel - doesn't really seem to make an effort of service recovery and seems to ignore the customers concerns. I would come back for lunch but not for dinner.

The restaurant looks very nice and is located on the marina. There is a large deck outside with some firepits. We ordered desert and a glass of water. The desert was good, but very expensive. We never received the water. When i was given the check, the waiter walked away. He had not returned when we were ready to leave. I walked to the server counter and no one was around. I charged the desert to the room and left.

Had a group business dinner here. The views are beautiful--right on the marina. Service was very attentive. I had the filet and the hubs had salmon. They were both quite good. The salads were a little limp.

Limited Menu but well worth it. Beautiful surroundings. You pay for the view. The family had Cornish Game Hen, Seafood Mix, Sword fish, and Steak. The bread was rustic. The wine list was great. The Dessert molten lava cake was dry.

Beautiful seascape views, great service, nice menu and buffet, family and/or date friendly with the best location in Mission Bay to walk off your guilt along the marina boardwalk. Any seat in the restaurant is unique and the side bar big screen is perfect. The breakfast sandwich is fantastic and serves excellent espresso.

Very pleasant setting and view, but extremely expensive, $60 for a basic breakfast, for 2 people. Or $20 for one mixed drink. Food was just okay.

The buffet breakfast was amazing, and a few times we ordered off the menu (when the buffet wasn't ordered), and the food was delicious. It is pricey, but we had 2 people included in the price of the room, so we were "only" paying for 3 additional people so it wasn't bad.

They have a good breakfeast buffet or you can order a la carte. The dinner meny card has a lot of good fish dishes. There is of course also steaks and chicken and vegetarian. The service was fast and the waiters are very talkative

Love this place for breakfast, buffet or menu, and for drinks outside in the evening. The location at the marina is fantastic. Not thrilled with the dinner menu, it's very expensive and the choices could be better. Staff is extremely efficient and friendly.

We stayed at the Hyatt Hotel right there, so ate here a few times. Quite pricey, but you get what you pay for. Nice atmosphere and fine menue.

Nine of us that ate dinner there last night and eight of us said that we would never go back! (1 of the 9 did like the food...that’s not the best odds) The fish was dry and did not taste fresh at all, portions were extremely small, and the prices were extremely high. There were a couple positive things about the restaurant the atmosphere is nice and the service is excellent but the food is just not great. I wasn’t expecting the world being that this is a Hotel restaurant but we have to say we were very disappointed In the food quality portions and price sorry Red Marlin I will not be recommending you to anyone

Shane the waiter has been there for years and he is mostly rude overpowering, and spiteful, resents anyone asking for something other than the exact menu, he is 180 out from most of the waiters and waitresses except Eileen who is about 90 out from the rest, she takes forever when she is serving. Shane never came to serve me after he said he was my waiter the other day. The busser served me , and I waited over an hour and had to walk out to the front desk to pay myself. The other servers are excellent and friendly. Remove these 2 misfits , they are destroying your fine operation.

Not traditional sea food...spanish influence but little flavor. Expensive..limited menu for kids. Double crab cakes were pricey but little flavor.

Good quality food. Nothing too special to say, but the outdoor seatings might be on the colder side after sunset.

Crème brûlée banana pancakes with pecans and warm maple syrup for $19.00 My wife asked the server if the bananas and prcans were placed inside or outside the pancakes. He said the bananas inside and the pecans outside. They arrived with no pecans and a couple bites in, my wife noticed no bananas! Waited and waited for our server to come back to tell him and he suddenly apologized and said he forgot to tell us they were out of bananas. Lol, really? Even after you told us how they’re made? Then, the bill came: no discount for the incomplete meal. A 6% Restaurant fee, and a suggestion for tip amounts that were based on the total (after taxes and fees)!! I adjusted my tip to reflect the overall experience, and obviously I won’t be back.

I stayed at the Hyatt on business and decided to give the on-site restaurant a try since I didn't feel like driving to dinner. The staff was very attentive and polite. It was a beautiful night so I took advantage of sitting at a table overlooking the marina. I ordered the Cioppino with yellow tail, mussels, and shrimp. The seafood was cooked to perfection but the red sauce just missed the mark for me. It was a little bland and creamy for my palate since I prefer a sauce with little spice. For $32, overall it wasn't a bad selection.

Great food at great prices. They offer a great wine selection here and their breakfast buffet is absolutely awesome!

This restaurant is located in the Hyatt Mission Bay hotel. Nice views of the marina and surroundings and overall good service. The menu is somewhat limited but most items are very good. We had dinner on the deck one evening and our server was excellent, the pork chopped was well cooked and the brussels sprouts were also very good. Kind of pricey but not unexpected for a hotel restaurant.

This restaurant is located steps away from the hotel pool, very convenient location and lovely view. Family friendly with seating indoors and outdoors (fire pit). Prices were high for the quality and portion size. Service both meals was adequate but a bit sluggish.

Had an amazing dining experience! Our waiter was quite informative about our meal choices and wine pairing. I had the swordfish, first time having it, I can say I am completely spoiled! Generous portion with scrumptious sauce and vegetables! My friend had the Flat Iron Steak, another generous portion, cooked to perfection! Beautiful upscale, yet comfortable decor, can't beat the sunset, magnificent meal, and great people serving and taking care of us!

Staying at the Hyatt, I went to the main restaurant and was seated (alone) in a nice booth. The service was attentive, the bread delicious, and my Seared Salmon was delicious and beautifully presented. Unfortunately, after 2 bites the interior was uncooked. I asked for it to be well done and I quickly received a completely new plate plus a nice discount at the end for my trouble (without me asking for one!). The peanut butter whiskey was a delicious dessert!

We enjoyed early breakfast at 630am with excellent coffee, tasty smoothies and delicious breakfast. Service by Pam and Brian was beyond 5 star. Especially enjoyed the chicken hash.

The restaurant wait service is lacking between peak hours. Food is tasty and comes out pretty quickly, but somethings are below expectation. Salad dressing too oily. Omelets way too greasy. We are at the Hyatt for a conference and have eaten here three times between 10-1. Breakfast buffet as expected. I would recommend something from the menu. The swordfish tacos were a tasty hit for lunch! The WIFI is strong in the Red Marlin. No signal in the conference areas. Also, wouldn't recommend staying at this Hyatt.

Wow! The amazing staff made our birthday brunch so special. We had an amazing experience and that was because of the kind and attentive people working there! Birthday mimosas and a beautiful view. We were able to sit and enjoy and everyone made our experience one to remember forever. Thank you!

Had lunch with husband and the kids, two ordered the coconut re velvet pancakes and the other had blueberry pancakes, all three kiddos loved the food. I had the salmon cream cheese bagel. The flavors were great and there was no shortage of salmon, they also added tomato which was a fun new twist on it. My husband had eggs Benedict, this dish was also on point! Would overall recommend, getting ready to order dinner from there tonight. It is a little pricey though.

Long time family friends had a 70th birthday party at the Hyatt Regency Mission Bay. After an hour of champagne and greeting family members dinner was served inside the Red marlin. We had 3 large tables seated by the windows where we enjoyed a beautiful sunset. I had a very tasty and tender New York steak with broccoli and roasted potatoes . New York steak can be tough but mine was excellent. I then has a Caesar salad. It was good but it had too much dressing. Nice bread was on the table to be shared and a very nice cheese platter . Service was good and of course this group of birthday celebrants were loud. There were at least 3 different special celebration going at the same time. All in all the Red Marlin did a vey good job with very good food.

Pick a spot outside even if it's not too warm, the fire pits are good. Service good, food tasty, you do have to navigate the menu as it can be overpriced, but just for the evening glow it gets an extra star, and a short walk back to the Dana Inn.The rose wine was tasty, and worth the trot across the busy road.

Nice hotel restaurant - food was wonderful and children's menu well considered. It's easy to get to after sea world.

We stayed in the Hyatt Mission Bay as our start to our anniversary trip. We had their breakfast buffet which was good as buffets go. Ordered off the breakfast menu and was very pleased with the quality and originality of the menu. Very fresh local produce. Staff pleasant and attentive.

I stopped here for a snack, as I had just arrived at the Hyatt from New Zealand. It was the only place I could see was open, so I stopped in. I had the cheese and fruit platter and a coffee. It was a nice gap-filler and just what I needed. The only comment I would make, was that they could have been a bit more generous with the bread, as it wasn't enough for all my cheese. Otherwiise, it was good.

This is next to the Hyatt Mission Bay which is where I was staying. I went for lunch and had the Mahi, Mahi sandwich. It was awesome. I can't believe more people don't go to this place. I think most think it's part of the hotel so the food would be ok but you have to try it. It's not crowded so you get in quick and the views are awesome. Good prices as well. The Lemon Drop drink I had was made very well. I would definitely return to this place. I just wish I would've eaten there more often.

This is a nice restaurant with great sweeping views of the bay, the marina and the food. It's on the pricey side so if you don't have a care in the world, enjoy this one for the experience.

Nice on the Marina. We got appetizers and lunch. The food was good. A little pricey. I recommend the clam chowder

This property is part of the Hyatt Mission Bay Hotel and has zero competition within a mile (literally, no other fine dining venues) so feels no pressure. We went for a late dinner after travelling and was disappointed in the limited menu. Seemed like everything was "southern California" style (their terminology) which meant jalapeno or other spice added, or was fish. Only about 12 entrees on menu, one soup, 4 salads. The menu is expensive, with entrees $25 to $38 and not worth that. Add beverages, a la carte sides, dessert etc and you are spending way too much. This was surprising when considering this is one of only 2 dining options for this Hyatt property and is the most "adult" venue. The other plays loud rock music and offers burgers and kids meals day and night. Would have enjoyed a lighter, more mainstream entree with my wine and beautiful view. Service was prompt and efficient as well as personable. However, we will probably not return for dinner during this trip..

We ate at the Red Marlin for breakfast and for dinner one night. This was quite good and is a pleasant setting for a meal.

My wife and I went for a walk and found this fantastic restaraunt and we had one of the best meals I have had, make sure you ask for the shrimps, absolutely gorgeous, plump, juicy and very tasty,

We only ate breakfast and enjoyed it a lot. It's just a shame buffett wasn't always available. The french toast was excellent

Great location at the Hyatt Regency Mission Bay, nice place good service. Food is unforgettable only average and a little bit on the expensive side.

Had breakfast a couple of times while staying at the hotel. The venue is nice with a stunning view. However, for my tastes the breakfast buffet was surprisingly average. There is a small selection of hot food - and the veggie items (eggs and potatoes) were basically tasteless. I tried a cooked to order omelette and this was equally uninspiring. The pancakes on the buffet are ok. A nice selection of fruit but for the price and location I expected much better. Service was perfect though - so a nice experience.

Had breakfast here after a wedding the night before. Both of us had oatmeal, usually pretty easy, but ours was special, thick, hot, and lots of extras; assorted berries, nuts, syrup, etc. A relaxed meal watching the boats (yachts) in the marina.

Red marlin had great food, service and an amazing view for sunset. We went with two little kids on our last night staying at the hotel and with two cranky kids we survived! Sorry to the other patrons for our little guy enjoying himself too much! The only issue we had was that the menu online is not updated and they didn't have the food we wanted but picked other things that were great.

This was a convenience choice for us. It was located at our hotel. The food was OK not a great value with the exception they had a kids buffet dinner whose cost was the age of the child. Age 6 cost $6. Kids buffet did not have great selection but was satisfactory to them.

Whale watching had time to eat want to red marlin they treated us right great beer and food. Service above and beyond. thank you

Well, it’s pretty expensive for what it is. We had two appetizers, a bottle of 60 dollar wine, a bottle of water, and one dessert for $250. The waiter was nice, but he didn’t seem to listen very well. I ordered a vodka martini with no vermouth or olives but with a lemon twist. He returned with a martini with three olives. He tried to make it right by returning with lemon twists and a side of sweet vermouth. Too much work at times. My wife had the calamari and it was excellent. I had the pork belly and it was fine once I got through the very crispy side. Cheesecake was acceptable but dry. All things considered , an ok choice if you are tired and just want a bite after a long trip. With that said, the hostess (India) was very welcoming and gets you seated in a nice spot on the marina.

If the food is average at best and the service is horrible, now the food tastes like I'm licking the side of a garbage can. I can go through all the details of what went wrong but I'll spare you the details. The clam chowder didn't make sense to me. The jalapeños didn't add any depth or flavors that made the chowder better, it was just there. The scallops must have been cooked by 5 different chefs because all 5 on the plate were cooked differently. If it was a single chef that made the scallops I almost have to give the chef props for being able to cook them all to a different temperature. Enjoy at your own risk. I will not return. Don't even see the potential.

Great views of at breakfast this morning! Very clean. Good service. Food was good but. Itching spectacular. Overpriced.

Love this place everyone really accommodating for our first 2 nights. In the Restraunt everyone was amazing except on our last evening with our children we sat down to eat and the waiter Shan quite clearly did not want us to sit there. This was the same table we had sat at for the last two nights as it had a heater and was never a problem. It was after 9pm and we were made to feel so uncomfortable About been sat there that I didn’t enjoy any of my meal . After asking him during our meal if there was an issue he said no not at the moment unless a party want to sit here?? How horrible and rude!?? There was a handful of people dining as usual very quite and ampul full of tables. Maybe he was hanging on for the random large party for a big tip that meant more to him??? I’ve never been treated so bad at a table and felt like I shouldn’t be there. Very unprofessional and maybe this guy needs a different job in life as customer service is not one of them!!! The guy who seemed to be shadowing him deserved a tip. But next time don’t sit under the table with a heater on a Saturday night in case the illusive large party may or may not walk in!!! Very unprofessional and may I add does not reflect on the rest of the staff as they were all 100% spot in. Manners cost nothing. But because of this will not return as we always do to California year in year out a different hotel will be in our agenda for sure

Excellent view of harbor. Good service and the food was excellent but quite expensive. Very convenient to the hotel

This review is for the s'mores fire pit experience. I reserved this experience as part of a birthday celebration for my significant other. What I thought would be a private fire pit quickly turned out to be shared, when other random diners were permitted by restaurant staff to spontaneously sit and join me, and were provided supplies (skewers and marshmallows) to join my table, without paying or my consent. The best that I can liken this situation to is if you were enjoying a nice bottle of wine at your own table, a diner walks by and wants a taste, & the staff gives them a glass to join, sit maskless next to you, and enjoy your bottle of wine-which is NOW shared, unbeknownst to you. Unreal!! I wish I could say this was a bad joke, but it happened. The tray provided was nice, but my entire experience was ruined by the random diners mooching off my table for over half the time (of a 45 min experience). What is the point of making a reservation and pre-paying if this is permitted?? While I complained to management, they refunded me 20%. I don't think I should have been charged at all, given the situation. The website should at least disclose this isn't private, and make other people pay, too, if they are joining "family style"; not a good idea during covid. I initially reserved this "private" fire pit to have space with covid awareness, and to create a nice evening for my significant other. It turned out the exact opposite. Additionally, the standard fee charged for this carries extra undisclosed fees. Little did I know I would be footing the bill for strangers! Just a bit of forewarning before booking this, unless you are totally comfortable sharing with random strangers right now.

We were staying at the Hyatt so it was easy to walk to the Red Snapper for dinner. I chose the swordfish and my wife the fillet. Both meals were outstanding and the swordfish was some of the best I've tasted. Charlie our waiter was great and tokk care of everything without being pesky. The view of the marina with the boats decorated for Christmas was a plus.

We popped in on a Thursday night around 8:30P. Looking for a cocktail and some shareable appetizers. We sat outside and while we did quickly get water and place settings from a buster we never had anyone return to take orders! We ended up having to go up to the bar and order, the bartender was alone servicing the entire joint. Again when we were ready to leave it was a struggle to pay our bill and once again had to go up to the bar to pay. We saw MANY server types just standing around so it was pretty frustrating. Shout out to the bartender and the buster who was a young man doing it all. Also the woman singing with the guitarist was AMAZING!

Gourmet food, outstanding service (Charlie was our waiter). We had Salmon, Steak, and Sea Bass. Very enjoyable experience.

Hyatt Mission bay hotel was terrible, noisy, dirty and over priced but this on site restaurant was nice , location was beautiful, food and service good

Nice view on the harbour. Quality of food is above average. Friendly staff. Service is oke and for groups service charge of 19% in included next to a strange 3% additional charge

It is very overpriced, food is ok. We paid more then $100 for 2 adults and 2 kids and didn't get much food.

We were staying at the hotel next to this restaurant in Mission Bay and were tired so decided to eat here. While the food was very good and our server was very good the prices were absolutely ridiculous. Our meal for two was $260!!! This was by far the most expensive meal of our trip and that included dining in Hawaii! Needless to say, we did not eat here a second time. It is unfortunate it is so costly as it is convenient.

We were staying at the Hyatt Resort next door so we decided to try the Red Marlin Bar and Terrace. A beautiful facility with a view the boat harbor. Indoor or terrace bar seating was available. We chose indoor. Our server Eileen provided excellent service through out our meal. A special bonus for our 11 year old granddaughter was the kids dinner buffet. Many kid friendly choices, corn dogs, tater tots, pasta etc. Kid buffet price is based on the child's age. We enjoyed the adult beverages and the well prepared fresh salads with shrimp. My Spicy Shrimp Salad was delightful. Prices are average for a fine restaurant in San Diego with a view.

Our family enjoyed a nice dinner after a fun pool day. The food was good, the views beautiful. The salmon dinner was a hit, along with both seafood pasta dishes. They have a buffet for the kids and under 4 eat free! Great all around stay at the Hyatt.

We love their food and it is so beautiful; catch a sunset here or go for brunch; the location, food, and ambiance is the best!

The service was great, food, very good ( the highlight being the scallops, I took the recommendation, and loved it!)

We were tired travelers staying at the Hyatt so just walked to their on site restaurant. Our table was so nice by the Marina, our server was knowledgeable. Interesting and reasonable wine menu. Food was average. The octopus salad was poor.

Breakfast buffet one morning, sitting outside with view of sea lions messing around in the marina. Dinner 1 night (Maine scallops) and it was awesome.

I went to Red Marlin 2 weekends ago while my stay at The Dana at Mission Bay. Got there 30 minutes before they closed but that was the only place we could have gone on foot. It was beautiful at night time with a fire pit and nearby marina which was lit up so wonderfully. Inside they were very professional loooking with high class decorations. However, it felt as though the bartender was rushing us. Also, we ordered the quinoa meal and the eggplant app. The egg plant appetizer was cold and I was not sure if that was how it was supposed to be. Didnt wanna bother the already rushing bartender. Overall, I felt the food was not worth the very expensive price tag.

The dinner was the star of the show here . Went two nights and it was fabulous. Fish very fresh and well prepared. The sides were really good. The breakfast was "OK". Pretty standard without anything being too remarkable but just OK. Not bad just OK.

We had an afternoon off and were hungry, so we tried the Red Marlin which was on the property of Hyatt Mission Bay, our hotel. We had a lovely meal sitting by the fire pits. The staff was very friendly and the finger food was very good. The next day we got breakfast there, and the food was good, but we waited a very long time for the waiter to come take our order. All in all, a good choice.

So nice to sit by a fire table on the deck overlooking the marina. Food was wonderful! Service was very attentive without being disruptive.

We ate here while staying in San Diego and it was very good with an amazing ambience. There were firepits and it is right on the water with most tables being outside.

The lobster tail and fillet was delicious. My husband and I each ordered it, and ate every bite. The tail is small and offers maybe 4 bites-but delectable. It needed to be served with lemon wedges. The fillet was cooked to order and was so tender and tasty. Their mashed potatoes are wonderful and called for eating every last fork full. The glazed carrots were just as yummy. At $48 a plate, this meal isn't cheap, but it was a treat for us and well enjoyed. Our servers were very friendly as was other staff. We dined on the deck one night and then indoors another. Nice views of the area, too. Most meal options were pricey, drinks as well. We ate lunch there and it was fine-good, but pricey for just a good meal. We never really saw the restaurant that busy-but maybe people ate later than us. Definitely warmer inside than out-so the deck provided a welcomed breeze. Friday and Saturdays offer live music. We had better food at Red Marlin than at Swim-the poolside restaurant at the Hyatt.

I had a late dinner there after a long travel day. We just shared drinks and apps. The server was very good. The drinks were properly made. The apps were good. I had breakfast the next morning. I had the avocado toast, which is whole grain toast with avocado and poached eggs on top. The eggs were perfectly cooked. I was offered, and accepted, a to go coffee on the way out. The views are of the marina and water - very nice.

Unfortunately for guests at the Hyatt Regency, this is the only restaurant on premises. The setting is lovely, out over the water, but my meal was disappointing. The salmon was bland, the roasted carrots tasted burned, and the 'forbidden rice' should have been forbidden from the menu. Service at the bar was excellent, which was the one saving grace.

Took the two school age kids to SD to enjoy the weather. This restaurant is on the grounds of the Hyatt Mission Bay. It was convenient for us to have a few meals. Great views of the marina, breakfast buffet for kids was only $10. Adults $27 ( steep unless you eat a lot!) but lots of choices. We had steaks for dinner which were amazing. Good kids menu and very reasonably priced. GF options. Great service. Better than most restaurants on hotel grounds.

Had two dinner meals at this restaurant. The first was the steak which was so so. Had better at Black Angus. The second dinner was the salmon with garlic mashed potatoes which was very good. Wait staff was very good and so was the view.

Enjoyed a dinner at Red Marlin this evening with a six and four year old. Food was absolutely delicious and service was fantastic. Our server brought extra fruit for the kids, who ordered a free range beef (or turkey) burger and tasty house made chicken tenders. We had the Sea Scallops (4) and Seafood Cioppino with linguini, both large portions, beautifully presented and divine.

Had the breakfast buffet because it came with the room rate. Usual food items. No omelet station though one could be ordered from the menu. Friendly staff. Clean.

Nice views of marina and sea-world fireworks. Children will enjoy the kids buffet and food from menu very nice but so it should be at the price. A bit understaffed so be prepared to wait for service.

Came for breakfast. Had French toast. This was very good. Brioche bread with hint of cinnamon Topped with banana slices and walnuts. $15. Orange juice was OK. A bit watery $5 My wife had the waffle which was ok but nothing special. $15 Other days we had the Buffett. This cost $27 and was very nice selection and quality. They have a daily special item and they were good. It includes juice and coffee. Service was always very good.

The menu is actually far more limited than expected. Once our choices were made, the food came fairly promptly to our table. None of our entrees was what one would consider " hot." The food tasted OK, but, when the bill came, we began to regret those choices. The entrees were considerably overpriced for the quality offered. Service was fair. Altogether, we felt we could have had a better meal at some other restaurant.

I ate here twice during a recent stay. I found the views of the marina to be very relaxing. The food was good, service above average. Pricing was a bit high for the quality. Overall no complaints. My best tip is to not sit at window seat that is getting hit with direct sunlight as it get's pretty warm. This restaurant is worth a shot, you probably won't be wowed but you'll get a pretty good meal.

Checking into the Hyatt a little later in the day, we decided that we wanted to grab a bite to eat close to the hotel. We chose the Red marlin. The location is very nice and the outdoor and indoor seating is simply beautiful. The waiters and waitresses were very quick to seat us and bring us our drink order. I ordered the game hen, my wife ordered the sirloin and our friend ordered the flank steak. While we were enjoying our drinks our waiter brought out some bread with smoked butter. When our food arrived, we were all blown away at the presentation. Everything look so appetizing. Out of the three meals I would say my wife enjoyed the sirloin steak the best. I admit when I tried it I wish that I've ordered it instead. My meal was good but not great. The bird was a little dry and had been over cooked. However, everything else on the plate was good. Our friends meal was just not cooked well. While it looked great, it was really lacking the flavor she was hoping for. Our waiter was great and did all he could to ensure we enjoyed ourselves. While I was a little disappointed, I would go back for the Sirloin.

We ate here for breakfast for 3 or 4 days and absolutely fell in love with our server, Pam. The food was good but Pam was the star for my wife and I. We had dinner there a couple of evenings (including our anniversary) and had wonderful meals and again another exceptional server, Raul. The service staff took the experience up a notch here.

Great menu choices and wine choices. Frank our server was very pleasant and accommodating. Will definitely go back next time I'm in Mission Bay.

Four of us ate there, there had seafood and were quite pleased, one had steak ordered medium, first time was very rare, second time was still raw center. They did offer a discount.
Good service and great steaks
We decided to eat here our last night of our stay at the Hyatt. We were pleasantly surprised to get in and expecting a nice dinner. The steaks were great and the wedge salad very good.
