Redlands Grill or J Alexander’s needs to lock down the name. Confused Waze. Atmosphere was great. Drinks were great. 16 oz NY Strip Steak was grilled to perfection. My friend had the chicken, she liked it. The chocolate layer cake was large and decadent. Service was a little too much as I wanted to chat with my friend but if you like all that attention and interruption go for it. With 20% tip it was $133. Would I go back again? Probably not, better prices in SAT. But if money is no big deal, definitely go here.

It takes talent to keep shoestring French fries HOT when they get to the table, and this place does it! I am a freak about fries and I was not disappointed! We had the Tuna stack for appetizer and it was delish! Shared the old fashioned burger and fries and IT was delish! And of course. Cocktails were great! You need to try this place!!!! So glad it is on the way home!

Food and Service Was Great, Steaks are great, bar does not have Peach Bellinis!!!! Other than that our food was excellent and service was great

Friday eve first visit to Redlands Grill, Fiesta Texas Drive (with advance reservations). We've dined at other Redlands Grill in other states (Alabama and Ohio), so we were excited to see it come to SA. Service by Bianca was terrific. We both ordered their Prime Rib and basically it was tasteless and chewy. Nice portion tho. The orzo and wild rice (served chilled) was superb! Wedge salad very good. The warmed carrot cake was wonderful.

This was one of the best meals that I have had in a long time! You must try the grilled artichokes as an appetizer. All the steaks were top notch and grilled to perfection and my wife’s seared Ahi was outstanding. Very nice wine list and the bartender did a great job with the mixed drinks. Our waiter (Isaiah) was relatively new to being a waiter but did a great job and was very friendly. I will be coming back often! Finally, the atmosphere was very nice and the entire restaurant had a great vibe.

Out with my family for our anniversary good food everybody enjoyed it everything was hot service was great mine was good too

We are long time fans of J. Alexander's and this cousin did not disappoint. It has a similar menu with a bit more modern atmosphere. Perfection in service and cuisine!

This place is okay. You are paying for overpriced food that taste really weird because they try to make it "Fancy" I guess. The César salad is awful, you practically have to drink it there is so much dressing on it. The staff was decent, although they were young and had a nice smile, they were not genuine and kept gathering at the ramp, talking for so long my whole table finished there glasses. Not until thirteen minutes later did our server come by to refill our glasses.

We traveled to San Antonio as one of our last stops on a cross country trip so we’ve eaten at a lot of restaurants. Redlands Grill was by far the best! From the minute we walked in to walking out, we were made to feel like we were the only guests there! Richard was super polite and informative and Jasmine (manager material for sure) was just a bath of fresh air! The food was out of this world amazing! I had the filet and my husband had the ahi tuna. Both were cooked to perfection and the tequila beans were out of this world. Also, do yourself a favor and have the carrot cake!!!!!!

This place has the best carrot cake I ever had. Happy hour chicken and wine was great and price was reasonable.

Wonderful lunch and we were treated wonderfully by our waiter Gavin and the General Manager, Diego Quintanilla. Will certainly go back!

This was a night out for the family. Service is always good. Food was yummy-Salads are big-warmed up cake hit the spot! Hopefully next time trying something new.
Nice Menu friendly staff
The first night we dined, it was very busy and service was slow but it was evident that the staff was doing all they could to keep up and how can you complain when they were doing the best they could. We ended up there three more nights during our stay for after dinner drinks and a night cap. Eric and MacKenzie behind the bar were wonderful and very pleasant to talk to. Next time we are in San Antonio we will stop again.
