Convenient to Crown Plaza

By sjoconn |

I spent time in the lounge and ate here frequently while staying at the Crown Plaza. I recommend the macarroni and cheese. Staff was friendly and efficient.

Food ok, service poor

By Kaye D |

Stayed at the Crowne for one night and visited Regatta for a late lunch. The seating area has a strange uninviting layout, it felt like we were stuck in a large hall way instead of an actual restaurant. Fair enough it is part of the hotel but it felt very awkward. We had to wait an hour and a half for our food as it was Christmas day and the staff were low on the ground but it wasn't actually that busy and we had mentioned we were in a rush so perhaps a heads up would have been good. We didn't order the full dinner but it still took too long to bring out a soup, salad and a kids Mac n Cheese which my daughter didn't eat in the end as it had onions in which was quite over powering.

Nice Asset to Crowne Plaza

By Greg |

Extended happy hour (about 3-4 hours if I remember correctly). The waitress wasn't very knowledgeable about the beer on tap but I figured it out and there were two very good local beers plus some basic domestics. Nice small plate options on the happy hour menu are reasonably priced, I liked the quesadilla and my wife liked the mac and cheese. I did have a burger on another night cooked just the way I ordered it with modifications made and it was very good/juicy. Can't comment on any of the other signature entrees but a good happy hour and good burger. It's an extension of an expensive hotel in downtown Seattle so make your peace with higher prices and included gratuity and just enjoy. We did have breakfast here also. Again, expensive buffet but the made to order items were great and there was an extensive selection due to the great diversity of the guests that typically stay here.

Very nice

By Muffarah M |

This restaurant was indeed part of the hotel, but it was surprisingly excellent. We were there Christmas Eve and they had a special menu to celebrate, as well as an extensive happy hour menu and the regular menu. Service was lovely, and the tables were beautiful and comfortable with great views. It doubles as buffet breakfast in the morning at which time the buffet is lavish and extensive and self service - lots and lots of lovely items to choose from, both hot and cold.

Succulent Desserts!

By Tootsie1841 |

Went into the bar for a late night snack after a day of shopping and ordered drinks. Then to go on and order a dessert, what a great idea! I had their chocolate creme brulee (sp) and it was delicious! Our server was a nice kid, helpful with my questions on where to get a great, foreign beer on tap. He was a bit busy running around, but still did a fine job. Nice bar to have at the hotel we were staying at too, just a few feet from an elevator to bring us up. Nice bar!

Good gastropub food

By Wempress |

Reasonable price drinks and snacks. Great burgers and fries but stay away from the salmon burger which was horrible hardly any fish but lots of bread crumbs as a binder. The Asian slaw made the burger cold and soggy. The clam chowder was good but too much potato. Aromatic Mojito very good and refreshing. Rack of lamb with mushroom Risotto & snap peas was excellent. Good selection of local beer.

Service wasn't great

By Iridescentkittie |

I did not try any food but did sit at the bar 2-3 times during my stay for a drink. Though I was seated right there, I often had to wait a while for my order to be taken, my drink to be delivered, etc. I understand that bars and restaurants get busy, but I visited at different times and on different days and experienced the same level of mediocre service each time. The prices and drink options were great, and they do have a happy hour - but if you're looking for a "quick drink", beware that it may not be all that quick.

Excellent Friday night Seafood Buffet

By Heather H |

I started my search here on trip advisor for researching this wonderful place. I couldn't find a review and not one on the Seattle Forum seemed to have every heard of it. This restaurant is located on the 2nd level of the Crown Plaza hotel in downtown Seattle. I wanted to give it a try anyways and I'm so glad we did. We arrived early (30 min before the buffet started) and opted to sit in the bar. Our server's name was Eric and it was his 2nd night after coming over from working at the W Seattle. Eric was a joy to have as a server and very friendly and accommodating. The drinks were tasty and we were enjoying our time in the lounge so much we decided to continue our dinner there. We were the first through the buffet (early since we were heading to a Seahawks game) which allowed me to take some great pictures of the spread. Very very nice, fresh fruit and salads but the start was Salmon with a herb cream cheese that was WONDERFUL, next was a lobster bisque or chowder, had the bisque and enjoyable. . dipped my crab leg meat in it ;-) so there was crab legs, muscles, scallop martinis and a shrimp scampi bar. They also had crab cakes with a tasty aioli and pork loin with some sort of sauce i can't recall. We almost ate too much before getting to the end where they had Mahi mahi with a crawfish and mushroom sauce (MUST HAVE) then clams and a seared ahi (so so) but the Mahi mahi was very tasty. All in all our over all favorite meal was at the Regatta Grille followed by our Argosy Dinner cruise. Would definitely go again and take some friends.

Excellent time

By Dransom |

The bartender and manager were friendly and exceptionally nice. Considering our visit was during the volleyball championship, it was busy and they handled that very well.

Great Experience

By Autumn N |

I went to Regatta Bar & Grille for Happy Hour with some friends. We loved it!!! Great Happy Hour Menu and Hours, cozy ambiance, and superb service by the manager Rash. I'm reccommending this restaurant to all of my friends. -Autumn

Tasty

By Haselers |

Needed a quick snack after a long flight from the UK, so checked into the Crown Plaza and headed to the bar. Good choice of burgers and salads. Food was very tasty with prices typical for a hotel.

Stay away from the crab cakes.

By 907travelgirl |

Staying at the hotel for the NW Flower Show. Bar crowded, so service pretty slow. Wedge salad was great, pepperoni pizza was ok but the crab cakes were really bad 😱.

Decent hotel restaurant

By Jen00TB |

We decided to check out the Regatta Bar & Grille given the posted menu. We waited a few minutes before a wait staff person came out and seated us. We also waited more than expected for our meal to be prepared. The food itself was fresh and well prepared. I'm not sure the value was there, but I'm not sure how much more you could expect out of a downtown hotel restaurant. Overall the wait times were longer than desired, the server was friendly, the food was really good, but we paid a bit more than it was worth.

One night stay

By bobbyleeh |

This hotel has one of the best breakfast buffets that I've had. Try the coconut french toast for breakfast.

Dinner

By Sheraaz S |

The food was excellent. The servers lack the basics of checking to see if you was satisfied, wanted anything else.

Not bad

By ttocsnodrog_2000 |

Just another breakfast in a hotel. It is weird the way you get off the elevators and you are instantly in the dining area!! Fortunately we were hungry and they had food. It was a bit pricey, but what can you expect in a hotel in Seattle!!

Tasty brunch

By cougar01 |

Smoked salmon, made to order omelette, pot of coffee and fabulous Greek yogurt and fresh berries made this a memorable brunch.

Hidden Fees make for indigestion

By Robert C |

18% mandatory service charge not on menus! Food not a good value. Staff OK. Menu unexciting and what one would expect in a modest chain.

Great food, no service

By GnR B |

Something seriously wrong with wait staff attitude. Save yourself the pain and order room service - the food is excellent.

Excellent Lamb Burger

By NEEBAH |

Had the lamb burger for lunch - it was just simple delicious! And the service was fantastic. The server was very friendly and attentive and ensured you had a great experience do I here! Would totally recommend this place which is within the Crowne Plaza Hotel.

Brunch/Breakfast for Chumps and Chimps

By dnospot |

I was very disappointed, I spent $96 for brunch for two adults and one child. You have the option to order off the menu or breakfast buffet. The buffet consisted of French toast, overcooked potatoes, and pork sausage, so we ordered from the menu. My wife and I ordered the sunrise breakfast which should be called the rainy and gloomy breakfast. Yes, you can mess up eggs, bacon, and potatoes. I asked for over-medium eggs with my bacon cooked soft. I got one egg cooked hard, one medium, and 2 of 3 bacon strips were soft. My wife’s bacon was extra crispy and then we got the same trash breakfast papas on the breakfast bar. Insult to injury 18% service charger (gratuity) was automatically added. I have experienced this in fine dining restaurants that have been exceptional, but never in a hotel restaurant. I don’t recommend going to the many restaurants that are less than a 10-minute walk away.

Great Breakfast!

By Myakkamom |

Dinner wasn't so great and the one time we ate there for dinner the service was lackluster. But, breakfast was awesome!

Great service

By mikecarp |

We stayed at this hotel when we went to the Ed Sheeran concert at the end of August. The hotel is in the business district and few late night places are open. In fact, a lot are even just Monday-Friday joints. We checked out some places based on TripAdvisor app saying they were open, but they weren't. I probably need to update. So we headed back to the hotel since it was after midnight and found that the bar was still serving food. We had a pizza, quesadillas and a sandwich and all were decent, especially at 1am. The saving grace of the experience was that the server was awesome. Maybe even a little too polite, if that's possible, but it was welcome when we were tired and starving.

Yummy Mac and cheese

By Canuckrunamuck |

Had the Mac and cheese made with beechers cheese and my husband had the fish and chips...both very tasty and great value.

Happy hour is a good deal here

By omgwtfbbq69 |

I was staying overnight in the hotel and happened upon the regatta bar. They had a happy hour special 3 - apps for $12.99 and $4.00 house wine, upgradable to effectively 2 glasses of wine for $5.99 or so. For 20 bucks. Can't beat it. I had the buffalo wings, fried oysters in cornmeal and a charcuterie plate with olives. The buffalo wings were just ok, but the other two dishes were surprisingly good. I'd recommend the oysters, if you like them. They did a good job with this. Service was average and exactly what you expect in a mid brow hotel restaurant - competent, but not over the top, more ad hoc than overly professional, but certainly pleasant. This place wins on price and location if you're in the hotel. I'd eat and drink here again.

Beware of hidden fees...

By Laura Lee P |

My parents and I stayed at the hotel for the weekend. The breakfast buffet was excellent! No complaints there. 20% off when you are staying at the hotel, so it makes it a reasonably priced breakfast. The part that soured our experience was when we got the bill and there was a 20% auto-gratuity. Ummm... we served ourselves - it's a BUFFET. Well, ok, someone conveniently came by 20 minutes into our meal and asked if we wanted some juice or freshly cooked eggs, pancakes or French toast. So we crossed out that presumptuous tip and were generous enough to actually leave something. So my only word of warning when dining here, because I do recommend it, is to beware of this undeserved auto-gratuity.

To Lazy to Walk

By Jose I |

So after a day of site seeing that included a lot of walking we decided to eat in at the hotel restaurant. Great service and the food was good too.

never a bad meal

By TexasT67 |

We ate at least 14 meals while we were there. They were all excellent. Kudos to Scott, the manager. Breakfast is very good. The Big City Burger is good, as are all the other sandwiches. The salmon plates were all excellent.

Not worth it for the Breakfast

By Adam Z |

I stayed at the Crown Plaza hotel and was given a special discount on the already overpriced breakfast brunch buffet of $18.95 per person. The special deal was $14.95, and I was disappointed. The buffet choices were very limited and the buffet itself poorly stocked. The omelette bar was a great idea, but they added so much oil to the omelette it was really off putting.

Not too bad

By Steve A |

Food was good. Service was alright. The place is a little outdated. We went for lunch. The atmosphere was a little boring. They had a few TVs. Not much too much to remember.

Quite Tasty

By sshubeli |

Tasty late night fare. We had a calamari appetizer (good), Moroccan chicken (very good), and a decent portabello sandwich. Pretty good selection of microbrew. Good service. We also had the breakfast buffet - well stocked, tasty, but not cheap.

Happy Hour and Dinner

By Deb B |

Went to stay at the Crowne Plaza and went to the hotel restaurant the Regatta for Happy Hour and then a later dinner. Happy Hour food was good, a cheese and a charcuterie plate. It was noisy with a group of drunk 20 somethings celebrating an engagement. Dinner was quieter, served in the bar space. The mushroom ravioli was disappointing but the Asian Sesame tuna was delicious especially with the picked ginger. Would definitely go to a Happy Hour there in the future!!

Excellent food and service

By abrelascajas |

This restaurant is part of the hotel and offers a wide assortment of items for breakfast. If you are a member of IHG Rewards Club, the breakfast will cost you. for yourself and a companion, $19.95 plus 18% tip plus the local sales tax. From 5 p.m. onward, you can serve yourself to a free bag of pop corn or two while you are having a beverage to drink. For dinner, everything was delicious and tasty to satisfy one's taste buds. I enjoyed everything that there was in the menu but the soup - Clam Chowder - the white one was the best not to mention the fish as well. Everybody, in the restaurant, was very friendly and kind. I woould definitely recommend this restaurant to anybody heading to the Seattle area.

Yummy Breakfast Buffet

By Vanessa B |

I've only been here for breakfast, but I seem to keep returning. We were first drawn here for the gluten free menu options since my sister has Celiacs disease. My friends and I stayed at the Crown Plaza during Emerald City Comic Con weekend and have eaten here for the last 3 years during ECCC. The manager, Richard, is fantastic. He now recognizes us and is so friendly and chatty and treats us like rockstars, haha. Thanks Richard and staff! We will definitely be back!

OK

By RetiredinPahrump |

It was just OK. Food was fresh and hot, which surprised me since there was only 1 other person in the place at lunch and 4 others at dinner. Makes one wonder where the rest of the guests went and what they knew that we didn't

Excellent Breakfast, Convenient Bar/Restaurant

By jfivny |

While in Seattle, my wife and I stayed 2 nights at the Crowne Plaza, Seattle. This review will cover 2 breakfasts, 1 happy hour, and one dinner at the Regatta Bar & Grille. Excellent breakfast, convenient bar/restaurant. Don't pass up the breakfast buffet. Better than most hotels I've stayed at. Nice selections and great service. Bruce McCurdy, food manager and my NY hometown compadre, runs a tight ship (sorry Bruce, I couldn't resist). Sam, our server, was great. Cheery and attentive. She made sure our coffee cups never ran dry and as a result is our new best friend! After two full days of seeing the sights in Seattle, we returned to the hotel tired, hungry, and thirsty. The bar hit the spot at happy hour. Drinks were good and went nicely with our Roast Beef Sliders and Swedish Meatball appetizers. For dinner, my wife had the Tuna Nicoise and I had the Fish and chips. Both were enjoyable and were accompanied with, what else? Drinks! After 2 days of the touristy thing, we enjoyed good food and libation at the Regatta Bar & Grille. Then it was just a short elevator ride to back to the room. What could be better?

Good food, fast service.

By jjapolinario |

Eat soup at the bar or wear it. Chairs at the tables in the grog shop are a bit low for eating.

Happy hour is the best

By Louise N |

Popcorn Machine and competitively priced drinks... what more could anyone want? I enjoyed the ambience in this bar although it did feel very hotel-bar like. Which isnt a problem- its a bar in a hotel!

choice

By gilmorha |

We had our breakfast at the Regatta and enjoyed the choice offered

Disappointing breakfast experience

By bt2058 |

Breakfast while staying at the Crowne Plaza. Slow service, Had to ask a buser to get our server. Eggs ordered over medium arrived over easy. Wife's eggs Benedict underwhelming. Our seat by the door to the kitchen had the added benefit of hearing the staff having fun while they didn't attend to customers. Bright spot we took our food to the not yet opened bar to watch the Seahawks.

Great Food

By MDV20 |

Great burger and fantastic, fresh made chips. Absolutely the best I've ever had. Great service. Open and airy indoor atmosphere.

Not bad but not exceptional

By DIXIEDEE42 |

Good food, service a little slow but enjoyable. Big city prices and selection a little limited but workable. I enjoyed it!

Excellent Service, Yummy Pizza and Good Cocktails!

By KAHegg |

Great place to watch a ball game, grab some cocktails and have pizza. Very casual and good group of guests. John, the waiter, is amazing at remembering what you drink! Can't say enough positive things about the pizza..... Traveling again for my job now and wish I could have ordered that pizza!

Great food. Great service.

By Nancy |

My husband had the steak frites, and I had the half roasted chicken. Both of them were fabulous! And our server was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

Excellent service

By glenhodgso |

Simple food, well presented with 1st class service

Best Mojito in Seattle

By John G |

Service was great and so was the menu. Not a night life B&G but a nice place to finish up an evening out.

OK but nothing special

By TAMAN1951 |

Quite plain and nothing special. We found it more comfortable to sit in the lobby rather than the bar itself. Prices seemed a bit high but convenient if staying in the hotel.

Great happy hour pricing, friendly service, great location (Conference Center adjacent)

By kaybee751 |

We ate (and drank) at the Regatta Bar & Grille a couple of times during our stay at the Crowne Plaza: once for lunch, and once for late night appies & drinks. The happy hour pricing on beer, wine & appetizers is very good, and the appetizer options were excellent and included vegetarian, non-fried dishes. Service was always attentive and polite. The seating was comfortable, and some tables had a street & park view. It's a great option for those attending events at the Convention Center too, as it's a quick walk over from WSCC Level 4 through Freeway Park to the hotel & pub. Will visit it again the next time we're staying at the hotel and/or visiting the Convention Center.

Worst meal in Seattle

By TAMAN1951 |

Poor service. Seating at a snails pace. Low end mediocre food. Eggs were like powdered. Pancakes were dry. Bacon was good but sausage had a funny taste. OK potatoes. Great coffee kept it from getting a one. This place should go ahead and close. Waiter at the table was very nice and attentive. Quite expensive.

Convenient Hotel Bar and Restaurant

By djcollie03 |

We stayed at the Crowne Plaza and went to the Bar/Restaurant twice. Once for afternoon drinks and appetizers and once for breakfast. Both times, service was very good. As would be expected, the prices are few dollars higher but, the convenience factor is the big draw. Food was good and I'd consider eating there again if I was staying at the hotel

Good early dinner in a nice bar

By frugalarnie |

The Regatta Bar and Grille is located in the Crowne Plaza Seattle Downtown. The servers are great, and a nice pub style menu. Happy hour from 4-7PM weekdays. $4 beer and wine, $5 well drinks. The applewood smoked chicken quesadilla, spicy shrimp, and angus sliders are great choices.

"Gratuity" shouldn't be "mandatory."

By Allen B |

Stayed at the Crowne Plaza during a medical visit & went to the hotel restaurant/bar just for convenience. Food & service just OK. Very limited menu. "Gratuity" should mean a discretionary offering, not an 18% tax. (I probably would have given it voluntarily)

Simply delicious!

By Laurabn |

Everything related to the Regatta Bar and Grill is outstanding, since the area, decoration, food to the service. Whatever is breakfast, lunch or dinner it is a place to go and enjoy your meals. Being at the bar or at the restaurant you will find yourself having really nice cocktails, cold beer, great appetizers, meals are really well prepared and visually attractive. One plus score to the service provided by the awesome waiters and waitresses. Room service was awesome as well.

Convenient place to eat when one checks in after dark

By ANNIE S |

This is nothing special, but it does serve sandwiches and pizzaz (and a few more expensive things). It has some TVs (like a sports bar), but not too many. There is free popcorn. We just had two turkey sandwiches and water, but still this came to around $30 (with tax and required 18% tip).

Stay away!!!

By Lisa M |

Stay away from this place! When we went there wasn't a happy customer in the entire restaurant! It was the worst service I ever received in a resturant and the food was just okay. Nothing special.

Lunch at bar

By 40west |

Great looking bar/dining room. Trip advisor menu is NOTHING like what real menu is like....mistake T.A. ! Fix it. Other than that...great late lunch at bar. Bartender Kyle awesome.

Great Nibbles and Good Staff

By Glen Bethel |

IF you dont really want to step out of the hotel, this place is safe, decent food options and the staff are friendlt

Walked in and walked back out

By Susie |

We walked in here thinking it'd be great for dinner. The sign says wait to be seated by the elevators but that's a lie so we walked awkwardly into this area around the corner. We weren't greeted or directed where to go so we just sat at a table. The server came with menus and when asked a simple question, his tone was very snooty so being the sarcastic person that I am, I returned the same tone. A few min later, other guests arrived and were catered to immediately as well as having their drink orders taken. We left. Avoid, unless you wanna be served by a rude waiter.

Waiter Said He Was Too Busy

By NMC_12 |

Perhaps they were short staffed BUT as guests in the Crown Plaza we found it odd there was a 6- top table with no guests and the waiter advised us when we walked in that he couldn't wait on us but we were welcome to eat in the bar if we wished! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? This is SEATTLE! It is the gourmet-restaurant-mecca of the West Coast and this guy THOUGHT we needed to settle for a meal in a bar? It was definitely both his and the hotel's loss because we went around the corner to Tulia's and my husband had an incredible dry aged ribeye and I had the BEST Alaskan halibut dish of my life! THANK YOU CROWN PLAZA!!! Without your poor service I would have never discovered Tulia's! Signed-- Your Guests Room 3265

Great food and fair price right in the hotel

By Bill C |

We were staying in the Crowne Plaza before our Alaska Cruise and were done walking for the day. Very pleased with the Regatta for dinner - service, food, price. We also grabbed quick breakfast before tour and ship in the morning and were able to get great choices at a fair price quickly a la carte.

Great atmosphere

By Marianne S |

Great place to have not only a few drinks or a nightcap but also have a meal. Very nice staff and efficient service.

Great little place for happy hour and dinner!

By Caroline W |

Visited the bar and grille several times as we were staying at the hotel it is located in. The staff are extremely friendly, especially Angela and the menu has a good selection of appetizers and main dishes. Happy hour is from 3-6pm with wine and champagne for $6 a glass and beer between $5-7 depending on the size. A very easy going place to enjoy a drink and some food while out with friends or family.

Good for a hotel bar.

By M M |

I have stopped in several times at the Regatta while staying at the Crowne Plaza. The bar is on the second floor of the hotel. Seattle has so many great food and drink choices the hotel bars get overlooked sometimes. The drinks are reasonable and the menu is not extensive, but the meals I have had have been good. They make a nice crab meat mac and cheese that is total comfort food. There are a couple salads, a half a dozen sandwiches and several personal style pizza's on the menu. The staff is efficient and friendly so overall a pretty good place to stop in. I first stopped when it was just pouring rain and I didn't want to get soaked walking to any of the nearby restaurants. Now I stop in for a drink, even if I'm heading elsewhere for dinner. It's not a very big bar but it's a solid place for the second floor of a downtown hotel. The very good rating might be a bit of a push but an average rating would not be fair. It's worth the elevator ride.

Depressing hotel diner from the '70s

By The_Miskatonic_Adept |

I had the chance to visit this place every evening for one week during my stay in the Emerald city. I made the mistake of dining there only once, a chicken meal that was just average at best, overpriced and with the depressing setting of a hotel restaurant which was either empty or with 2/3 tables of 55+ people. The place looks also old and stale. I resorted to pass by after dinner, only to confirm that, despite the remarkable tries of the barman to keep the show running, the scenario was the same. I stopped going after I saw two patrons ordering a creme brûlée, and both turning it back because it looked horribly disgusting (they also tried it, and from their faces the taste was probably matching the appearance).

Great Food, Great Service

By Murray S |

Went for dinner during our recent stay at the Crowne Plaza, Seattle. The service was great, food very nice & prices were very reasonable.

Offers good selection of light meals and drinks

By GreyNomads888 |

Happy hour is the best time to go but it is busy. Free popcorn is offered while it lasts. There are TVs, mainly to watch the sports.

A very good breakfast but bar service a little weak

By calflyer80 |

The breakfast buffet was quite good and the service very attentive. If you are staying at the Crowne Plaza it is very convenient and beats looking elsewhere on a rainy day. However, I found the bar service to somewhat inattentive. Staff seemed more interested in side conversations rather than customer service. Drinks were fine and food was adequate but overpriced. All would be good with just a touch more attentive service.

Being renovated.

By Ckgosie |

Nothing much to write about, its still under renovations. The makeshift one in 5th floor not very spacious .

Turned away empty tables but too busy

By TAMAN1951 |

Wife and I tried to get dinner but waiter said he was too busy and said we should eat in the bar downstairs Give this place an F

Great hotel bar

By Shiraz Dalal |

Great hotel bar and restaurant delicious food. Good drink selection good prices and great service! Can definitely stay in and enjoy!

Great food, excellent happy hour

By kentnmary18 |

The food is very good and very reasonably priced. Happy hour is great. Carafe of wine $5.50 drafts $4. Can't beat it for lunch or dinner in Seattle. We met out of town friends on a Saturday night and were able to park in the garage on the corner for $10. No view. But then your not paying for one.

Great Food and Service

By SJE99 |

The service was wonderful each time we ate here and the staff were caring and efficient. They also had great knowledge of the local area and pride in their service.

Relaxing happy hour

By tmr7 |

Convenient since located in the Crowne Plaza where we were staying. A great place to unwind after a long day of walking before going out to dinner, but also for that night cap before bed!

Great wee pub

By acothra1 |

My wife and I didn't want to walk anywhere so we took a chance. This place is great. Very quiet and relaxed. Service was great. Happy hour had great deals and the mac n cheese was on point!

Hotel bar and restaurant

By Nicolemarie017 |

Located on second floor of Crowne Plaza Downtown. Nice layout with partial views of downtown. Expensive but decent food. Good sized portions. American fare, bar style. They also have breakfast Buffett (very expensive). I would not go here again, there are many other options close by.

Great food, great beer, great company

By CD R |

Staying at hotel and working late, popped down for a bite and a beer. Great selection of beers, super friendly barkeep and tasty food, albeit a bit pricey but that is what happens.Great 2nd floor location

Good food

By Unnur B |

Very good food and the service was so amicable and nice. The kitchen made a mistake so we had to wait 40 minutes for a burger but that was ok it was so tasty !

Barely made it in the door before being insulted!

By Nathatt |

I would recommend avoiding this establishment. While the hotel where it is located has a great staff and nice accommodations this place is not worth your time or money. The staff is terribly rude and unhelpful. I spoke with a gentleman at the front of the restaurant (after waiting a number of minutes for him to acknowledge my presence and that of the other guests who were waiting). He then proceed to tell us that he had not seen us although he had looked our direction several times during our wait. He said he was the only one working the floor (roughly 7:00 pm on a Sunday night). He then proceeded to explain that the guests who were already dining were more important for him to attend to than us.

Fantastic Food - A little pricey

By Barb M |

Excellent service and food. We ordered the portbella musroom, seafood platter and pizza and all were exceptional. The waiter provided us with amazing service with just the right amount of attention.

S.O.S. !!!!!!!!!!!

By veryuniquetraveler |

Absolutely, hands down, the MOST disorganized restaurant on the planet. Honestly, I don't know if Gordon Ramsey and Robert Irvine tag teamed together could straighten out this place. Unless you completely start over from scratch, with ALL different people, I don't know if there would be any hope. We were staying at the hotel overnight before departing on a cruise. There didn't appear to be any other restaurants nearby and we didn't want to venture out in a strange city alone. We arrived just a few minutes after opening, but the bar was already full. There was no host or a sign telling you to seat yourself. So, we just picked a table. We noticed a few employees walking around, but after about 15 min. no one came to take our drink order. Hubby went to the bar and stood there to get our first round of drinks. We wanted to have a few drinks before dinner, preferably to take our food back to our room. There were 3 men walking around the dining room, but no one came to take our order. One man brought water and we asked him if they do take out orders and he said yes and brought us menus, but never came back to take our order. Hubby had to continue to go up to the bar to get more drinks whenever one of the aimlessly wondering men was u[ there. There did not seem to be a dedicated bartender, waiter, expediter, or busboy. Also of note, hubby started with beer on tap, which he normally prefers, but switched to a different brand of bottled beer as he said it was flat and had an aftertaste. After an hour, hubby went to the bar and "supposedly" placed our order. For nearly 2 hours, we watched as food was brought from the kitchen and walked around the entire dining room table to table with staff asking everyone if that was their order. Just U-N-B-E-L-I-V-A-B-L- E!!!!!!!!! I've never worked in a restaurant, but surely there has to be a number assigned to every table and that number assigned to the order??????? EVERY table had a complaint about something being wrong with their order. After 1/2 an hour, hubby asked the status of our order. We were told twice, "It's coming soon." It did not appear our order had been submitted. Finally, guy showed up with a to go bag of food, but it was NOT our order. After wandering around the dining room, he found who it belonged to. People at the table next to us, asked for their check 1/2 an hour earlier and were still waiting. They also complained that they had finished their drinks before their dinner was brought out and no one got them more drinks. A large party at another table were not only given the wrong orders, but salads with no dressing, and their check had not been divided as requested. Another party complained that their food was cold and sent it back. Another party said their order was totally wrong and walked out. So, after 2 hours of waiting, they finally brought our order, but still had 1/2 of it wrong. Hubby said he would just eat what they had brought him, as he wasn't going to wait any longer. He ordered a burger, but received a quesadilla, which we normally like, but this one was spicy and he ended up only eating half of it to avoid heartburn. My club sandwich was VERY good and a huge portion, so he ate part of mine. The fries were very good also, thick-cut, perfectly seasoned, and not greasy or soggy. We had a creme brulee dessert, which was excellent. EVERY table ended up being comped a round of drinks, but that was hardly enough. The entire experience was completely uncalled for. Not to mention, how they are making any money giving away so many free drinks. They definitely need a new manager, who will be hands on, and a dedicated host to seat people and assign staff to tables, a dedicated bartender, dedicated servers, who know what they're doing, and a dedicated busboy to clear tables, and tidy up. On a side note, priority club members are not given a complimentary drink or food discount at this restaurant, as they usually do with this hotel chain. Breakfast was a buffet for $ 23 pp. This is NOT advertised anywhere and an actual menu for sit-down breakfast is posted online. Line up to get in was QUITE long and blocked all the elevator doors, making it difficult to enter or exit. We arrived at 7:45 AM and waited over 20 min. to be seated. There were plenty of empty tables, but no one was clearing them. Host was not only seating people, but taking drink orders ( which he often mixed up ), and preparing checks all by himself. Food selection on buffet was VERY limited, and only fair to eat. Scrambled eggs were cold and biscuits were rock hard and dried out, like they were several days old. Not at all, worth the price. 1/2 the price would have been more reasonable for what you got. The tables were not disinfected between guests and no hand sanitizer was offered. Room service was not available as they obviously don't have enough staff to deliver it. They desperately, desperately, desperately need more staff.

Very large portions

Food was fine and sandwiches are huge. My crab cake was a a bit on the chewy side and too much salt. Grandchildren liked the pizza.

Too litle manpower

Disliked: Place is too small. The wait for a table istoo long (15 mins). The waiters are too little. I didn't get my morning coffee.

Waited entire meal for my drink.

Had the buffet, and ordered a soda. Sat down and ate my entire meal prior to getting ready to leave, I asked if someone could bring me my drink. Terrible service for buffet that costs 23 dollars. Go elsewhere food is plenty in this area.

Great food and amazing service!

I never know what to expect from restaurant bars but this place was great! We ended up eating/drinking both nights or our stay and were very happy with the food and drinks. The late night bartender was exceptional and I really loved the atmosphere!

Slow staff and expensive

By PABuglady |

We visited the bar 2 times and had to always hunt down our waitress. Also it was very expensive, check drink prices before you order. 1 dinner, 2 beers, 3 mixed drinks and a coke was 125$

typical mediocre hotel restaurant, overpriced with no frills

To be honest, I wouldn’t have set foot in this restaurant had I not been given a free drink coupon down here. Whenever I get a free drink coupon, I always make a point to order another one to pay for, just so I can leave a decent tip for the server/bartender. I was SHOCKED when I received my bill to see a “gratuity” charge was ALREADY added for me, and that was on top of a ridiculously overpriced 12 ounce domestic beer. I was pretty appalled; walk a block down the road to a real bar, this place is pretty embarrassing.

Excellent food!

Reasonable prices for the great food and a wonderful atmosphere with vibrant colors right in the middle of downtown Seattle.

Sipping the evening away

The service is great. The beer and liquor selection is good. You can have service from the restaurant at the table or bar.

Great food, good service.

Enjoyed the Regatta for a convenient place to have a meal. Clean, friendly staff, good large servings.

I didn't find a review either

Basically, had 3 screwdrivers and a quessadilla. But the bar food was excellent, well-thought-out and clever. It wasn't cheese stuck between two flour tortillas. THere were two kinds of salsa, a dollop of sour cream, and jack and cheddar cheese beween herbed flour tortillas. Not your average fair, and for $4, well worth the price.

Happy hour helps

By kalekona |

The bar had all nigh Happy hour for Emerald City Comicon which was wonderful and very helpful for my daughter who was stuck at Greyhound waiting for her bus for 3 1/2 hours and needed a little "happy" The waitress was friendly and funny. And the drinks and food were good.

Find someplace else

Had dinner here because it was convenient. A mistake. Hotel is very good but not the restaurant. There is a bar on the same floor with loud trivia contest, yelling, popcorn smell, all of which comes into the restaurant. No walls between the bar and the restaurant. Service was good but food overpriced, not at a good temperature (warm instead of hot). Find another place to eat.

Nice pre dinner drinks
