It's easy to get to, as the restaurant is located right at a Metro subway line--2nd and Market St. Reasonably priced meals, and you can sit by the window, or further inside, or upstairs open-air dining. Service was right on time, water was offered (not too many spots we ate at offered water unless we asked). Jim promptly served us; the wine and craft beers were very reasonably priced--happy hour goes 4 to 7 PM. The chicken sandwich was very tasty and the veggie burger was served nicely--and well cooked. Restrooms are upstairs, but well maintained

Sat at the bar , draft beers were good. Bartender was friendly and helpful. They seated us upstairs patio , nice breeze and view over Penn Landing. Korean tacos and chicken kabobs a must.

Our waiter was very nice and accommodating to us wanting to move tables when it started to rain. Menu selection was very good, with many options for all different styles. Good calamari and burger.

Wanted to sit on their rooftop area on a beautiful saturday afternoon, and was told there was no bartender or servers upstairs and they tried to get us to sit at the inside downstairs bar! What a waste of space , we turned right around and left.

The food was fine, inexpensive and the service was good but there is absolutely nothing special about the menu or service to make me want to go back. The location is great and the upstairs, outdoor patio is probably a great spot for drinks at night but otherwise just a decent bar/restaurant.

*Greeting by hostess was less than friendly *Nice atmosphere and quaint history details *Water tasted like food - had to send it back *Had to send back Moscow mule *FANTASTIC and attentive server (only saving grace for this place this visit!) *Too much salad dressing on peach salad *Excellent avocado BLT sandwich So much potential in this place! Ours was a disappointing visit though.

On a whim we came here to eat. I wasn't sure we chose the right restaurant until I took my first bite of my BLT salad with avocado ranch dressing! To die for! So good. I had my 9, 7 and 3 year olds with me. They easily found something on the menu. The staff was kind and understanding (especially when a glass of water fell and broke). Atmosphere was chill. Friends meeting up for lunch and a drink. Would love to go again as all the food I tried on the table was delicious.

My boyfriend and I was doing an impromptu weekend getaway in Philadelphia and nearby the hotel we stayed there was an array of restaurants . Out of all of the eateries this stood out the most. I like the fact that there was a rooftop option to sit and eat. We both liked the view of the city . We had quick dinner there and it was both good. He liked his veggie burger and I did a simple grilled cheese sandwich. I ordered a drink which was a mix of rum and pineapple juice called 'I'll get you, My Pretty' . I would suggest this place to eat when it's late and it is a beautiful night out so that you can be able to see the view.

This is a great happy hour spot. Good selection of local beers, seasonal cocktail list, and good wine selection. Their appetizers are awesome, especially the buffalo chicken dip and the tater tots. They also have a nice covered outdoor seating area on the second floor which is well-appointed. I would definitely recommend this place!

I had the duck skins app and it was awesome. Also had the Godric's Hollow drink, which tasted like Apple pie. I would come back to try a pizza or sandwich when I have a bigger appetite.

From the moment we walked in we should have walked right back out. Wait staff very peculiar. Food very ordinary. Not the cleanest. Mac and cheese was far below and toasted cheese sandwich was too much cheese with a little bit of bread and soggy French fries. Would not recommend. Give this one a miss.

Pretty good food! Rolling kitchen was a little weird. Amazing cocktails! Chicken tacos were goooood. A good place to grab some food

Was in town after visiting a few sights; wanted to find a place not too far away/within reasonable walking distance; didn't want a heavy, heavy meal. Choose Revolution House; the menu items on line looked good so we decided to give it a shot. Nice ambience; pleasant servers; good meal; decent prices. My daughter ordered a cheeseburger (on flatbread, which was neat!) and fries; I ordered Caesar salad with salmon. Very filling; very tasty. Enjoyed the meal.

The food was ok but we had a grumpy waiter who made our experience well under expectations. On the table next us was a group who had a great waitress and there was about 15 of them but only the two of us, we envied them the whole evening, I guess a ponytail takes a lot of grooming because our waiter spent more time looking at him self than paying attention to his customers. Mandatory 20% tip which puts our waiters performance in perspective.

This is a great location! Love the historic vibe in Philadelphia. Brick exterior building is on a corner in Old City! We went for an early dinner, so it was happy hour! There were apps that were half off and beer and wine specials. (Yeah for us). Ordered the calamari and pierogies for apps. Then a Mushroom mix pizza - that was DELICIOUS. We had the cod sandwich and added avocado to one and cheese to another. Our one guest had the veggie burger - which he said was one of the better ones he has had and the other had eggplant parm. Nice atmosphere, good food, great service and I think reasonably priced. Definitely a return visit in the near future.

Went with a couple of friends and loved the food, especially the tacos. Do not miss the opportunity to try them. They had nice beers and lemonades, good music, and the staff was just amazing. Had a Philly cheesesteak for the first time and the portion was too big. Two people can more than share. Definitely worth a shot if you're in the area.

Strolling around downtown Philly, we were getting hungry, and Revolution House caught our eye for lunch. I'm glad it did, were seated, had a most friendly server, and what caught my eye was the Gyro. Grilled leg of lamb slices, onion, tomato and tzatziki, tucked into a pita, with a mixed green salad on the side. This is the best Gyro I have ever had. Healthy cuts of freshly grilled lamb, they did not skimp on the meat, it was well loaded, and they avoided the trap that too many places make the mistake of. It was not drowned in tzatziki sauce, there was just enough to add that nice tzatziki flavor, without going overboard. There is nothing worse that a soggy, dripping Gyro, and Revolution House adds the perfect amount to avoid that. Being that we were doing the tourist visit, I wish we lived closer, so we could go back there on a more regular basis. It is on my must go there again list, next time we swing by.

Good atmosphere. Menu offered good choice. Waiter very helpful. Food tasty and at a reasonable price.

I have been here a few times and each time it is excellent. The menu changes often and you really can't go wrong with anything they make. They make the best pizza with the most amazing crust. During this visit we had the buffalo chicken dip and it was very tasty. I had the tri-tip cheesesteak and it was delicious. I highly recommend this place and wish I lived closer because I would eat here much more often.

I went for the happy hour special where they offer half off Margarita pizza and I also had a side of marinara and it was delicious!!!...the pizza was whole although it was small...it was delicious but my side of marinara was exactly how I like it...on the sweet side and delicious.. The best part was that at happy hour it was only 7 bucks

I am not a picky person and I always love eating out abroad and trying new things, but I will remember this place for the horrible food we had. I couldn't finish neither my veggie burger nor my fries. The bread was soggy and the bean burger tasted awful. I had lots of veggie burgers in the US in my life and none of them barely tasted like this one. Also my boyfriend's sandwich was really poor. The staff seemed annoyed and never smiled. We won't recommend this place.

This is my second visit to this establishment in center city Philadelphia. Located at 2nd and Market, this area is loaded with bars and eateries and small boutique shops. We sat on the rooftop with a canopy overhead. Our server was pleasant and prompt. The prices were quite reasonable and the food that passed by our table looked wonderful. My dish, and oh my, oh my, was called Eggs Bandito!. Perfection! Two perfectly poached eggs atop a pile of spinach on top of ham on top of homemade flatbread on top of home heavenly fries with a smoked red pepper hollaindaise sauce. My tablemates had the Betsy Ross omelette and the Penn's Landing omelette which they thoroughly enjoyed. Besides the food, check out some very cool features in the restaurant. Like the wood wall that looks like the flag. And the giant mirror hanging in the stairwell. The table top made from a split tree trunk. Very cool place. I'll be back.

Went with my daughter and husband to Philadelphia. After taking a walk in the old city area we saw the place which had outside dining on a rooftop. We weren't that hungry, my daughter didn't find anything to her liking on the menu. My husband and I ordered starters. The mac and cheese was unimpressive and it lacked flavor. My husband ordered the Philly hoagie dip, the best part of that was the flat bread. Our waiter was fine. The place was busy, maybe our starters were lack luster but the atmosphere was nice.

We really enjoyed our meal at Revolution House! We did make reservations in advance and were delighted to be seated at a table upstairs on the open-air terrace, right beside the rail, so we had a nice view over the bustling historic district and entrance to Penns Landing below. It was a lovely, pleasant evening, so al fresco dining was perfect! Our server was very friendly and attentive and did not pressure us in any way to leave after we'd finished our meal, as we were hoping to be able to see the fireworks that were being launched from Penns Landing that night (it was a few nights before the 4th of July, and for some reason they were doing fireworks that evening). From our table on the rooftop, we had an almost-unobstructed view of the fireworks, which made our evening even more enjoyable! The food was great at Revolution House! I ordered the homemade tater tots and smokey mac and cheese. The tater tots were SOOOOOO good! They brought a ton of them, and in addition to being hot, crispy, and delicious, I was delighted to discover that they had cheese inside! That was a really nice touch. I would absolutely order them again! The mac and cheese looked perfect (bubbly, cheesy, etc.), but I was a little disappointed in the taste. It was nice and creamy, but it wasn't really particularly flavorful. It was pretty typical of what you get in many restaurants these days when it comes to mac and cheese. I like the cheese to be flavorful and sharp (or at least to taste like whatever specific cheese they make it with), but I know that many people do prefer a blander mac and cheese, and most people are probably happy as long as it's creamy and hot, which this definitely was. My husband ordered the cheesesteak, and I sampled it (okay, I had a few samples). It was SOOOOO delicious! We both thought it was the best cheesesteak we had in Philadelphia. The meat was tender and flavorful, the cheese was gooey, the other toppings were flavorful, and the bread it came on was absolutely outstanding! I actually kept tearing off pieces of the bread to eat by itself, because it was so good! It wasn't your typical cheesesteak roll; it was instead a flatbread that was super soft and a little bit sweet. It was really fresh and yummy! The waitress said it's made from the same dough they use for their pizza! So it wasn't exactly your traditional old-school cheesesteak, but in our opinion it was actually better than the traditional ones! Next time I'm at Revolution House, I'm going to order the cheesesteak and tater tots -- that would be a perfect meal! We loved Revolution House and would highly recommend it!

we where searching for a place in old city Philadelphia to eat and happened across this nice pub and restaurant. There's quite a few party bars in this area but the Revolution House is better if you have children. There pizza is fantastic and the fried calamari is great. They have a nice selection of craft beers and a really cool deck upstairs that overlooks Market street and Penns landing bridge. Great place

Great location for people watching, especially from the top deck. Food is reasonably priced. Ambiance is great at night and can get very busy in weekends.

After walking through the city all day, I stopped here to enjoy a snack and a drink. I ordered the Brie which was decadently warm and served with honey drizzled toast points with golden raisins, bits of walnuts and sliced strawberries. Delicious! My only complaint was that two drinks and the Brie was a $50 experience.

There, I said it. And, I know it is sacrilegious to both say this cheesesteak is the best while also saying it is non-standard. But it is just that good. Take a thinly sliced, try-tip steak, add some fresh cheese and tuck it all into a nice, handmade, wood over roasted flatbread and you have attained gastronomic nirvana.

14 business people went after a class. Waitress was awesome and top notch. Drinks were generous and we ordered small plates which were very good. Happy they had a unisex restroom upstairs. Very little air movement upstairs but still a great time overall.

We ate lunch here after some sightseeing. We tried the tater tots, they were great. Our kids tried the macaroni and cheese, and loved it. My husband and I enjoyed our lunches as well. Overall a good choice.

Enjoyed our brief drink in this stylish bar in old town Philadelphia. The location is great right on Market Street and 2nd with a SEPTA station right outside. Good service all round. There is a roof terrace upstairs which I would have liked to have tried had we stayed longer.

This is a nice resturant. We picked it because of the upstairs open air dining area and we were not disappointed. They have a nice selection of craft beers we tried the victory hopdevil and the tribute tripel both were very good. For dinner we split the taco dip appetizer and the grilled cheese sandwich dinner. Both were very good and we had plenty of food. Service was great, the atmosphere was nice and we got to sit by the rail and enjoy the city!

Very average bar. We stopped in after the liberty escape room experience as they give you a coupon for here. We got drinks and a dessert. The chocolate lava cake was good but not extraordinary. Drinks were standard and not too overpriced. Service was average. I felt a little like they were trying to wind down for the night and it was only 9 pm.

We popped in here after the first place we went to was too noisy. The atmosphere in here is awesome, cozy yet historic feeling. Exposed wooden beams in the ceiling and all different kinds of industrial and antique looking chandeliers. Our table had a Ben Franklin key set into the tabletop, too. That was cool. Since we were in Philly we decided to try the Philly cheesesteak sandwich with fries and also the Philly cheesesteak eggrolls. Both were SO delicious!! Our server was awesome: funny, helpful and entertaining. If I'm back in Philly I'd come back for sure. It was a quick walk from here to Independence Hall, too.

The roof top deck is what intrigued us to try this restaurant and so happy we did. Beautiful place, great food and service.

The waiter wasn't familiar with the menu, they were out of the sandwich I requested even though it was before 1:00, the food was just OK, and they don't have any diet drinks.

Sooooo yummy! Great food after a day of walking around. Smash Burger and Buttermilk Chicken Sandwich were huge hits. The fries were amazing. Our server was so nice and attentive. Food was ready quickly (but not so quick that it was suspicious!). We will definitely stop by again!

We went here because of the good reviews, but the only good thing about it was the cute patio area they had upstairs. The food was not good at all---way over-seasoned and weird flavors. The waitress was nice and attentive, but the food was not good. Not sure where all of the good reviews came from.

Had 3 days for an in-town Philly trip. Found this place this way: very hot day, looking for place for lunch with AC near Liberty Bell, etc. This place fit the bill and had great food to boot! So we went back the next day! Order the cheesesteak or the mushroom pizza. Both delish! Service friendly and helpful.

We were walking around the historic district and wanted a break. We stopped at Revolution House and sat in their outside area upstairs and enjoyed shrimp appetizers and drinks. The service was good and the atmosphere was just what we wanted.

We went to the Revolution House for dinner the other night. Since we were a bus trip, we had a special menu. Inside, it is beautiful and historic. Our servers did a great job getting our food and drinks. I would love to go back sometime and try something from their actual menu!

Terrible service. long food time. Worst part was that the server took to the very end to recognize our experience. Offered a free glass of wine because my pizza never came out. Manager approached one table but not ours. But really there is nothing they could do at this point. Our food came out sporadically or with my pizza not at all. I get it we own a restaurant but someone knew we where having a bad experience and barely recognized it Lucky for this Restaurant we are not locals.

Friends and family met here before Going to the Blue Cross River Rink to skate on a Sunday. It was a great location given our plans and the restaurant was not crowded. The waiter was very friendly and the service was good. The food was good and the beer selection was mostly local and it was solid. No kids menu but they allowed sharing, which made it very reasonable. Be sure to order the tater tots which are homemade and stuffed with mashed potatoes. This is a great location if you want to see historic Philadelphia or walk down to Penn's Landing.

We visited for a later dinner on a March evening. The prices were reasonable, the menu was not exciting.

Revolution house is always a great place to go for drinks. We’ve been here in summer out on the upper level deck, and in the winter (last weekend) inside. They have several craft brews on tap and it’s a fun spot.

They had a Cigar City with nitro tap the last time I went. Nitro taps are a must try. The food can be simple but delicious. We had a salad, a brie, and some mac-cheese. All very good. Service staff was attentive. Highly recommend

Rooftop seating affords great views of Penn's Landing. Wait for the outside seating- it's worth it. Food is surprisingly affordable for such a nice restaurant on a busy tourist corner of Old City. Excellent fish and chips. Menu has lots of options. Bartender made several interesting cocktails at downstairs bar during our wait, all under $9. Very pleasant service staff.

I stopped in after making a reservation for my mother and I on July 13th. The weather happened to be perfect. I ordered the brie appetizer and the cheese steak for dinner. Both were enjoyable. The dinner came out right after the appetizer which if shouldn't have, but other than that it was nice to sit on the rooftop and relax. It was a quick walk to the water from there and I highly recommend doing that and taking pictures of the bridges and Irish Memorial. Enjoy!

I'll keep this simple. Pizza is as good as it gets! Salads and appetizers are great too. What sets this place apart from many others, and has made it one of my favorite places to go, is the staff. Lucca and Dave, two of the pizza makers, always take time out to talk to customers. They even taught my nephews all about pizza making and allowed them to make their own pies. Every time we visit, my nephews feel famous because the staff is always elated to see them. You really can't do better than this! Plus, half price during happy hour? Yes!!!!!!

Had great service though out and great local experience while on a personal trip to Philly. This is located right off penn landing. I enjoyed the taco dip for an app and the chicken pizza for dinner. I would recommend to a local or a visitor.

We were in from Chicago looking for a nice sit down restaurant on Market Street. We ended up at Revolution house and it was excellent. We had some tasty onion soup and flatbread pizza which was also very good. The service was top notch and definitely recommend.

Very cool hipster style pub, the food was good and the beer sampler was awesome. The staff was very nice, helpfully and she was easy to look at as well.

After a long day its easy relaxed with a simple menu (Pizzas etc), portions are good and a price that matches. A mixed and laid back crowd. The service was pleasant and efficient. No complaints.

We had dinner at this restaurant one evening. The food is very good, especially since it seems likely to attract people more for the drinks. We had a pizza which was well put together and some other food. Service is good and the place is comfortable and clean.

We met here for a business dinner and the food was good and the service more than adequate despite it being crowded. I was surprised to find a lamb gyro on the menu so I ordered it and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was.

The wait staff was very attentive; we had a marguerite pizza and home made potato puffs that were absolutely delicious. The drinks were uniquely named and of a substantial size. There was no room left for dessert, which I'm sure would have been outstanding also. Make sure in Philly that you always check your final bill, as most places add the gratuity on to the tab before you receive it.

We went last night after a stroll around the city and the skate rink on the water. Service was excellent and waiter was great. My daughter and I split the flat bread tri-tip cheesesteak and the flatbread cod. Both were delicious. Love going here. We mostly go up to the top floor, but this time we stayed in the first. Fun night!

We were with my 10 month old during their happy hour. The place was busy but not super crowded. It was a Tuesday. The weather was really good for February. The food was excellent and inexpensive. I thought there tater tots tested more like fried mashed potato balls but they still tasted good. I recommend the pierogies.

Being typical tourists, we were walking the Old City/Penn's Landing areas. How lucky we were to have just randomly chosen this gem of a place! We arrived just at the start of happy hour, so I was able to have a couple of glasses of craft beer and a pizza at a pretty substantial discount. The pizza was DELICIOUS, the service was above average, and the ambiance of the rooftop patio was delightful. Highly recommend!

We had been here several months back and I had been raving about their Prosciutto Pizza ever since. This place has a great menu and lots of great beers. You can't go wrong pairing their great beer list with this pizza. The service is quick and great. They've got great outdoor seating upstairs (enclosed in the winter with heaters) to really make it a unique place to try in the city! Until next time...

This place looks promising, but the food is not very good. It seems to aim to be trendy and high quality, but it does not come close to that. Our entrees arrived at different times--by a lot.

Went for lunch on a Monday based on a local recommendation of the roof deck. Restaurant was pretty much empty but roof deck was great on a beautiful weather day. Service was very good. My friend's Philly cheese steak sandwich was very good, and my french fries were excellent, but the pulled pork sandwich was dried out and the roll was a little stale and the BBQ sauce was not especially tasty - but even with this, the atmosphere on the deck made for a wonderful lunch. (Prices were reasonable.)

This restaurant was near our hotel,The Wyndham. We were so glad we stopped in for dinner. The food and service were fantastic. We ordered homemade tater tots, a cheese pizza, a homemade flatbread chicken and pineapple sandwich and a cheesesteak flatbread sandwich. Everything was delicious. We also loved the relaxing and fun atmosphere.

My nephew is a pizza blogger, and we agree that the revolution house is the best. Go here! Try everything! Thank me later.

Did not take reservations but our party of 9 including kids, only waited about 10 minutes. We sat upstairs on a covered patio which had a great view. Nice atmosphere. Tons of drink options. Buffalo dip and tater tots for appetizers---so delicious. Food was good--a little underseasoned but good. Generous portions. Great kids menu.

We had a reservation for a Graduation celebration with family and grandparents after the Graduation Ceremony. Everyone was looking forward to the dinner to Celebrate a very special occasion. Literally, as we were heading out the door to attend the actual Ceremony, we received a phone call cancelling our reservation! Instead of enjoying a wonderful occasion with family, we were frantically trying to find a place to host our large party for dinner and that was not easy given the notice of NONE! Honestly, the worst part was they could care less! No apology or concern whatsoever. Completely disappointing and rude. If they treat their customers with this type of service, why would you ever go here, when Philadelphia is filled with many places who actually care about their customers!

We stopped here and shared a beer flight after an afternoon of touring historical spots. We sat at the bar and had good service. We enjoyed their house-made guacamole and chips along with the beer. Would be interested to go back and try a full meal. Reasonably priced beer and appetizer.

Yummy! Good food and service. Has a nice roof top patio. Really enjoyed our dinner. No complaints. Lots of variety of local beer and food.

My only complaint about this place was that they have these old-fashioned wooden chairs that are probably supposed to be historically accurate but they were horribly uncomfortable. I would not eat here again if I planned to linger such as with a group of friends. The food was excellent though, including the pizza which was half off for happy hour. I would also recommend the Brie platter (so good) and of course, the homemade tater tots which were the best I've ever had.

My husband and I went to Revolution House after having a not-so-nice dinner experience. The decor is so cool! I don't know much about antiques, but it looked like a beautiful collection of antique furniture and doors. As weird as this sounds - Ladies, check out that bathroom! The mirror is beautiful! I ordered the sangria - which was everything I wanted it to be. It was tangy and sweet, and we watched the sunset over the bridge. Couldn't have asked for more from after-dinner drinks. The food looked delightful, so I would definitely go again to try some.

We stopped here for lunch on a Saturday before a concert at Festival Landing, and we were glad to find no wait time. I ordered the cheesesteak with onions and a blend of American and smoked mozzarella cheese, and it was wonderful. It came in a pita, which was different, but it was quite delicious, as was the side salad with fresh greens and a tantalizing balsamic dressing. My wife ordered the grilled cheese, which was also very good, although the bacon was entirely too fatty. Service was very good, but a couple next to us had already placed their order when we arrived, and we managed to finish our meals and their food had not yet come out. We were there for about 10 more minutes after we finished eating, and they still did not get their food. Needless to say, they left and were not happy after waiting almost an hour. I think I just go lucky, as that kind of experience happens far too often to me.

My girlfriend and I enjoyed a dinner here, on the street under the historic lamps. The food was an excellent mix of modern and traditional american cuisine.

Stopped by for an early lunch with a large group after a court case. Thoroughly enjoyed a "Holy Experiment" cocktail with my wedge salad. Loved the atmosphere. Clean restrooms. Quick service. Kid-friendly. Will be back!

Always great food here! The pizza is excellent and made in a stone pizza oven. Tip : go during happy hour. The specials are some of the best in town.

We chose this restaurant because it was in the historic district. The decor was semi-historic but modern amenities. The pizza was killer!

After walking around trying to find a place to eat, we discovered this place. The interior is nice, the service is good and the food was delicious.

After walking around Market Street we were having a hard time deciding which of the many restaurants to try. We really wanted to eat El fresco so when we saw the terrace it was the deciding factor. Enjoyed the tater tots appetizers. Crunchy outside and creamy inside. Liked the corn and crab fritters also. Husband had the lobster pot pie and it looked wonderful. He says it was tasty. Very attentive wait staff.

Great stop before setting out on first Friday art gallery stroll.. Chips of some sort( gluten free) delicious with avocado dip & cocktail set the stage. Fun roof deck for after tour fuel. Empanadas & firecracker shrimp epicurean delight. Good menu, friendly waitstaff and convenient location.

Attended with family and friends on the day of the Super Bowl Parade and the place was packed! This restaurant was recommended to us by a trusty source and we were not disappointed! Quickly greeted by the friendly staff, we seated ourselves in a beautiful sun porch-like area, upstairs. From our seating, we had a stunning view of Christ Church. We ended up choosing 3 different types of pizza from the vast menu: Duck, Mushroom, and Classic. The tangy sauce over the duck, along with the fresh dough, and fried egg, made this a stellar slice! The other two pieces were divine as well. We also sampled some house-made tator tots with an aioli. The tots only made the experience all the more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice meal out!

Went and instantly loved the place. Right by tons of other bars to jump around to after. Vegetarian options, plenty of different types of dishes. The food was great and the drink list was pretty robust. Cool second floor outdoor eating. Great spot to eat with friends or to go on a casual date!

We have eaten there several times while in the Old City. Food is good, service is fine, and pricing is fair. Nice view from the second floor deck.

Came with a group of colleagues for dinner and drinks. The food was good, and prices were reasonable. We sat in the outdoor area upstairs, very nice. Would recommend and return.

This restaurant was near our hotel. We were in the mood for something light - my daughter wanted Mac and cheese. She enjoyed that. The kids pizza was just alright - maybe the regular is better. Drink prices were a little steep. My lamb pita was basically mush - I couldn't taste the tsaziki - the pita was fine but the meat had no char, no texture but mush and not very flavorful. The salad accompaniment was nice - but a little sweet dressing. Looks like they have a nice patio upstairs in warm weather. Service fine. I wouldn't go back.

After a long morning of history at Independence Hall & the Liberty Bell we ended up at the riverside & Penns Lansing & seriously needed a seat & some food. This is a great location and the staff are so friendly & professional. The food was excellent & plentiful in clean & pleasant surroundings. Would recommend & definitely return

the wood burning oven used by Luca(owner and head chef) is like an extension of his creativity by combining simple high quality ingredients to produce delicacies that would satisfy the harshest critics. the appetizers were great, the main courses were large enough that could not be finished by my teenage son. we all had doggy bags to take back to our hotel, the wine and beer lists offered a wide selection and the desserts were perfect. the waiters and staff were very polite and accommodating and the cost very fair. as visitors to Phily we could of eaten anywhere and chose to go back two nights in a row. Luca is a master of his trade, takes pride in his restaurant which rubs off on his staff and very evident in the dishes that are served. bravo!!

This stop was included in our history to happy hour walking tour with Philadelphia Urban Adventures. This was the first stop for beer on our walking tour and it was a treat. The upstairs has a small bar area with the most beautiful chandelier at the top of the stairs. We had to have pictures with it! So beautiful! Worth a stop to see it.

We sat on rooftop deck. The service was excellent and i think they have one of the vest pizzas in Philly. The seating and atmosphere were great too.

My daughter & I were taking a post-Christmas walk around Old City looking for photo-ops when we happened upon Revolution House Restaurant. It looked very charming so we decided to have lunch there. We were not disappointed in ambiance or food. We shared two items, one of which had the best fries we've ever tasted. Our server was excellent and, hearing it was our first visit, encouraged us to check out the second floor & rooftop deck, which we did. We will definitely return.

This restaurant is in a historic building, wonderfully updated. The location is right in the historic section, convenient to many attractions. We had a great lunch here, all three of us got different salads, which were great.

setting: The terrace does not offer views that are amaaaaaazing / jaw droping. As for food: Probably a good pick for a pizza, not so much for a cheesesteak. ( not jaw droping either) The service was a bit weird ( some training would be welcome). In short: Simple place, nothing’s really fancy about it. It is just plain&nice.

Delicious Mother's Day meal on the rooftop deck overlooking Old City! The crab cakes were prepared perfectly and topped with a fresh apple fennel slaw. The scrambled eggs in the Eggs and Potato Hash were the best I've ever had! The hash was a well seasoned mix of potatoes and veg. I didn't have room for dessert but I ordered it anyway and I'm glad I did. The crepes were delightful and light as air. The olive oil cake was on another level as desserts go. Who would have thought the accompanying turmeric pear puree would complement the moist not too sweet cake as well as it did? My comments to the chef! I will be back!

On the great corner, where Benjamin Franklin may have strolled by a dozen times, you find The Revolution House. If you like cranberries and Gran Marnier; asks for a Bonnie Parker and of course a Cheese steak Roll, that's how we do!!!! From The moment you walk in, you feels the brotherly love, barmaid was a sweetheart and the waiters were patient.

We visited on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. Service was slow but not inattentive. I ordered a Philly Cheesesteak, since what else would a tourist in Philadelphia order? The surprise was that it came on pita bread instead of the hoagie-style roll that I was expecting. It tasted very good, it just wasn’t what I thought was getting.

We were staying nearby in Penns Landing and were looking for a restaurant to have a Philly cheesesteak. The other likely candidates on Market Street seemed to be really quiet so that’s why we ended up here. A fortunate decision as it’s a really great place with a lively atmosphere and we were seated on the roof deck so get a great view of the neighbourhood too. I’ve never had a cheesesteak in the US before but all the correct ingredients were then, long white roll, lots of chopped steak and home-made cheese whiz, which was way better than it sounds. Great choice of beers, friendly and professional service, highly recommended.

Without a doubt the best eating experience on our trip to this beautiful and historical city. Kyle made us feel so comfortable on a really busy occasion. He did everything with real class. The food choice was excellent and the service was way beyond that. We were more than surprised with the terrific varity on the menu very reasonably priced. Along with the great food and service The Revolution House is very easy to find and for our group perfecyly located.

Really good lunch spot in Old City. We were seated upstairs overlooking the water/Ben Franklin bridge. My tacos were excellent and my wife's salad was outstanding. Service was quick and pointed. I would return here in a heartbeat!

Big mistake. The first clue should have been the couple seated nearby who were not touching their food. Ours was horrible, too. Didn't have silverware and when we asked the waiter for some he intimated that we had done something with ours (what? we stole it?). We had to assure him that we never had silverware. And the food... the fries were raw; like when you bit into a fry it was the crunch and flavor of raw potato, nothing cooked about it whatsoever. None of the food was properly cooked, in fact. So we left without eating it (paid quite a bit for the horrible food), and found a frozen yogurt place instead.

The servers acted as if they were doing us a favor. Warm water put down on the table - no ice, in small glasses while the table next to us got pint glasses full of ice. Food came out separated by 20 minutes or more. It came on 3 different groups and my son specifically asked for his salad and entree to come out together and they came 20 minutes apart. The waiter was much delayed in even coming to our table. The food was average. And while they can't do much about the temperature on the rooftop, I would not recommend visiting when it is very warm because there is no air circulation. A fan would be a good investment.

great local eatery and pub on market street, friendly staff, brick oven pizza, great food and drinks

We had a pre planned group for the whole top level and it was great. The outside mixture of bar inside made for a great night. We had plenty of food, apps and drinks. The bill was more than we had planned on but the group had a great time. Would like to come back and try Dinner on its own for the whole menu.

We just had a pizza and some salad. Both were good, but the terrace upstairs and location were fantastic!

Food could be more inventive, kind of ho-hum. The space and location are cool, great for happy hour, second floor deck is cool season round. Modest selection of craft beer, no more than 8 taps. Gourmet pizza made in front of you at the lower bar. Staff seems uninterested most of the time, completely bored at others, seems like there is high turn-over too.

We chose Revolution House for our group's special event and were very glad that we did. The catering manager was extremely accommodating to our needs and helped us put together a nice hors d"oeuvres menu of chicken satay, firecracker shrimp, Philly Cheesesteak sliders, and, of course, pizza, that was as satisfying as dinner for most people. We loved having our party on the deck upstairs with its great view of the old city. The wait staff was also helpful and professional. After the official party as over, my husband and I stayed and had a relaxed glass of wine and a small pizza, also very good and, to our surprise, was comped by the management. Yay!

We stopped here on New Year's Day as we wanted to introduce our exchange student to the Philly Cheesesteak and the regular cheesesteak places were closed. Although my sandwich wouldn't be considered authentic by a native Philadelphian, it was probably the best cheesesteak I've ever had. Made with a homemade flatbread rather than a sub bun, the steak was juicy and delicious and almost infused with the smoked mozzarella and American cheeses. A generous mixed green salad rather than fries made me feel less guilty about eating a cheesesteak. Would definitely recommend!

We walked from our hotel for dinner. The drinks were good. There's a good selection of beers and my wife had a cocktail. The wood fired pizza was tasty and the price was unreasonable for downtown. Service was good, despite the crowd.

Would definitely go back when next in Philly Best Philly cheesesteak Good for lunch. Fast service Nice meals,

This place is way overhyped. Small town hip. Mediocre food. Mediocre service. Visited with my wife, 16 YO son and 14 YO daughter we have dined in many "cooler" places in bigger and smaller cities: Toronto, New York, Memphis, Montreal, Nashville, Boston and Chicago....here we were made to feel very unwelcome. They seemed to want our money and our biz while maintaining a "cool cred" and chose to treat "lesser" customers to a poor experience. BAD TABLE. NO SPACE ON THE PATIO. (There was ample space) I wish a real resto would open in this location....one professional enough to be worthy of the location. Ordered dinner for four....recieved two and had eaten to completion before the other dishes arrived....poor poor service. Not worthy of the view. PRETENTIOUS.

Great, reasonably priced food and excellent service!! We had a group of 8 and needes separate checks. Alexis was our waitress and she was absolutely excellent!! No idea how she kept it all straight but we were all thoroughly impressed!! Definitely recommend after that service!

Beers were fine, food was a touch overpriced but the atmosphere makes up for it. Right by the pier and ice cream if you want it. Suitable for any needs and friendly staff.

Enjoyed dinner here over Memorial Day weekend. Within reasonable walking distance of Independence Hall and Liberty Bell. Group of 10 - glad we had reservations b/c the restaurant was packed. We enjoyed pizzas, salads, and burgers. Parents and kids all happy with selections and food as requested. Good selection of craft beers on tap and bottled. Outside seating was fun - a rainstorm came up while we ate, so breeze cooled us off.

This place had great apps, specialty cocktails, a real nice assortment of craft beers and a wonderful atmosphere. We stopped in for 90 minutes before heading to the 6:00 fireworks and we could not have been happier. The staff was super friendly even as they were gearing up for a bug night on New Year's Eve. I will go back every time we are in that part of town.

I hosted an private event here last evening and could not be happier with the outcome - great bar service and selection of beers - food was excellent and they made us feel right at home. Thank you for making this a great event

After walking around the neighborhood we stopped in for drinks and just sat at the bar where we could see the pizza being made. We had already eaten elsewhere so we did not sample any food, but the pizza did look delicious!

Went for dinner with wife and daughter. Waiter Jim was somewhat rude. Had the octopus-big disappointment. Maybe 1 inch octopus. Was a glorified salad for $18 not a meal. Had Octopus in Tarpan Springs and that was real octopus. Was plastered in a sauce. Told the waiter way too much dressing on this and he didn't even care. Wife had a wedge salad which was basically head of lettuce with a little toppings. $14 Many other places nearby go there

I was in town on a business trip and visited this place my last night in town. The food was great! It was a group of three and we got seated on the terrace and had a great view. Our server was great and very helpful. I had the sausage pizza and it was one of the best pizzas I've had in a long time. Great happy hour prices on the drink. If you are in the area...definitely visit this restaurant. I will be stopping by when I visit Philly again.

Read some good reviews of this place and always like to eat at a local restaurant. Was able to get a table for 12 on a friday night. Very cool ambiance, down to the dining room table. Service was excellent. Enjoyed the calamari as an appetizer. Enjoyed the philly cheese steak flat bread--it was very tasty. Also was very pleased with pricing here. Would definitely recommend!

We did not eat at this stylish bar and restaurant as the wait was just a little too long which to be fair is a good sign. There is a good range of pizza's, appetisers and sandwiches at very reasonable prices considering the surroundings. There is also a specials board with a number of meat and fish specials. However we were luck enough to get a couple of stools at the bat where Adrienne looked after us for a few drinks. There is a wide range of beers available and on the night we enjoyed Lancaster Hop Hog, Tregoes Pineapple IPA, Flying Fish Red ale and a very good Dock St Little Prince Imperial Stout. There is a good wine selection and the Santa Julian Malbec can be recommended. Also try the speciality cocktail called Trust No-One, which contains Bulleit Rye, Aperol,Muddled Peaches, Peach bitters and Ginger Ale ! Great bar but may recommend booking and there is a great upstairs terrace!

What a great spot. Location is perfect and the food is really good. Nothing fancy, but the hoot is simple and really good. Best part is the really really good beer selection. We were a group of 8 and everyone had a beer that they were excited to find. Great time.

Just across from the amazing culinary and libation adventures lies Revolution House. We stumbled upon it recently after noticing the garden deck area from the street. Inside, the place I have to say it pretty cool. Decorated well with a combination of steam punk/industrial meets rustic/modern furnishings. We opted to head to the garden deck. Nice views (even behind the plexiglass walls). Service was pretty good, not great but good. Seems that most workers could barely muster a smile :( The food on the other hand left alot to be desired. Toughted as the worlds best tater tots, these were far from that acclaim. Simply tasteless mashed potato balls coated in panko and deep fried. Boring and dull. Their mussels, again bland and unimpressive. Their buffalo chicken dip was unusual but we all ended up enjoying it after a few bites. We wanted to try the corn fritters but at 5:00 p.m. they were already out of them. Maybe we would come back for a cocktail but that is it. Too many other places within the area that are more deserving of our time and patronage.

We really liked this historic part of Philadelphia and the street where this restaurant was located, pity it was so cold for this time of the year. Trying to relax after a very cold trip, we kept it simple and had burger with chips and tomatoes and my partner had a similar concoction plus a soup which he said they were both nice. The service was very fast, the European waiter was very friendly and I wish they were more people like this group of guys in Philadelphia. They really treated us very nicely, thank you.

We were part of a group of 7 and had a delightful table on the upstairs patio for our lunch. Orders included omelets, veggie burger, grilled cheese sandwich, stuffed avocado, chicken pizza, and several other menu choices. We were all pleased with our entrees and the servings were generous. The staff were prompt and attentive and we would definitely return in the future.

Quaint restaurant in Old Town with good food & great service staff - we went for a quick bite & beer (awesome beer choices!) - would have had our meal on the rooftop but it was too hot 95+ when we went. 2+ blocks from the ferry made it an easy visit.

My wife and I were looking for a light fare and stepped into RH in the early evening. We sat upstairs on the roof deck. The atmosphere was great and the menu had a good variety of items to choose from. We had the butternut squash raviolli and lamb tacos - both were delicious. I would certainly go back and recommend others.

...I generally don't review establishments based on one visit but I don't get into Philly too often. So these notes refer to a Saturday lunchtime experience. The wife and I found the people at Revolution House to be friendly and attentive. When we were there there were families with children, a couple of Japanese tourists, and a couple of locals (always a good sign). A nice but not overwhelming selection of craft brews (Moo Hoo Milk Chocolate Stout--for realsies!). And if you can't decide, they have a really cool flight of beers--you pick 'em. We each had the egg and cheese flatbread sandwich. Well, it was on more of a pita but that pita was fresh and hot and unbelievably delicious. It is a very large sandwich (we could easily have split one) and an excellent value for the money as it includes salad and very tasty fried potatoes. The music playing was a little loud and a little too classic rock for my tastes but that's no biggie (it was such a cool reclaimed space that I was expecting something a little more eclectic). There's a public lot half a block away on 2nd and you can get to a lot of great shops from this location.

We were looking for somewhere close to our hotel that served Philly cheese steaks. We were not disappointed with our choice. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The pizza was really tasty too. Reasonable prices and great decor. Would definitely recommend.

Came here with my girlfriend for a romantic dinner together, we had the Caesar salad and chicken pizza. Upon entering the establishment we were greeted by the staff who were all very lovely people. We were sat in the back of the restaurant and greeted promptly by our waitress, who was very attentive during our whole experience. The salad was very tasty and rather than using shredded Parmesan cheese like most Caesar salads they served the salad with a fried Parmesan roll laying on top which added a whole new texture and element to the dish, which I could not stop eating. The chicken pizza aside from the chicken was topped with pineapple and bacon. The pizza itself was delicious cooked nicely, however I was not incredibly fond of the sauce. The sauce was a little bit more sour than I anticipated, however I'm not going fault them as it cook of been the pineapple. The restaurant itself is has an old time feel with a touch of new, it's a nice spot for a family get together or to bring a date.

I just knew the food here was going to be overpriced and not very good. I was wrong!! Food was excellent and very affordable. I had the chicken quesadilla and margarita pizza(6 bucks during happy hours). Food was quality. We also got there world famous tater tots. How famous can a tater tot be....They were pretty good. Would def. eat here again.

We walked around for 20 minutes looking for a restaurant with the right "feel" and this spot fit that bill. It's just that the food sucked. I got Spinach and Beet salad with Salmon for lunch. Salad was fine, not great, but the salmon was so bad. It was burnt and 4 different small pieces. Obviously poorly reheated from the night before. Poor form and lazy. Plus it tastes gross! I also got tater tots and they were just not right. Maybe they were sweet potato tots? Not good. There are bars upstairs and downstairs. We sat out on the patio, during winter which had plastic walls and space heaters but was still a little cold for my legs and feet. The view from there however was great. It's a good location. Also, fun couch in the ladies room. But not cool enough to eat there again. Drinks, sure.

Went here prior to going to Wells Fargo Centre to see U2, Salads and pizza where excellent along with a decent choice of craft beers. Service also good would recommend

My wife and I had our lunch here during our unplanned visit to Philadelphia due to flight disruption. We sat out on the roof terrace and were able to enjoy the sunshine and street views as we ate. The beer was good and the food was enjoyable. The service was good too. It's quite a cool building with a historic vibe. Definitely worth a visit.

We went to Revolution House to try someplace new, I’ve read a few reviews good and bad not knowing what to expect. When we arrived we asked to sit upstairs on the rooftop but within a few minutes of being seated we were told that in two hours the majority of the area has been reserved. I appreciated the communication to make sure we didn’t stay too long. We were not lucky enough to sit on the outside but the area on the rooftop was pretty good. Our waiter greeted us and we ordered drinks as we started to look over the menu. For our appetizer we ordered the calamari. It was tasty but from the description of the sauce, I was expected it to be a little spicier. Moving on to our meals we just to order sandwiches: Meatball – My s/o thought it was tasty but wanted a little bit more sauce in the Pita bread/pocket. BBQ Brisket – I thought the brisket was okay and wanted to try something different. I would rather have a nice brisket sandwich, hold the BBQ. The side of collard greens slaw was good. Our waiter even brought a small plate of fries, which was a nice touch and great customer service. All in all, it’s a good hangout and the bar area on both levels looked awesome.

We've eaten here a handful of times. It's casual dining, fast service, decent food and reasonable pricing. Indoor dining on the first floor and outdoor dining on the second floor or street level. My husband enjoyed a chicken sandwich. I tried the bocce pasta salad with chicken. The pasta was under-done but the salad was still tasty.

We saw the upstairs open air patio, went up and had a great lunch. Lobster pot pie and I had home made veggie burger. Both were fresh, nicely presented and delicious. The service was awesome. Great view of Christchurch across the street. Great place to rest weary feet while touring Philly.

We had four dinners in Philly and ate here twice. The place has a good vibe with an outdoor upstairs patio where we ate both nights. Not fancy, more kick-back and comfortable. It is located on Market Street in the old town area. Market street is "the" place to be. Everything we had was good!

I've been here once before and I came back for their pizza. unfortunately it wasn't as great as I remembered. I hope that it was a fluke. i will visit again to give it one more try. everything else was pretty good. our server a little rough but he was responsive enough.

We just happened in for lunch and were so pleased with our find. Loved the atmosphere and the food was great. It was not crowded when we were there. On a hot day, it was a great place to refuel and cool off in a booth by a large window with great people watching.

We held a large party, booking the terrace for our own use. The service was OK and food was below average. I had to ask for the toilets to be cleaned - really should not have had to make this request. The manager was indifferent. I will not be going back.

Came in for desserts and drinks to celebrate completing Urban Adventure Quest. Service was great, chocolate lava cake was delicious, and specialty drinks were good. You’ll notice a large crowd queuing up outside on an evening and it took us a while to figure out their all waiting to get into Cuba Libre. Nice to know if you’re looking for a place to eat and then hop next door for some nightlife.

Wonderful second floor patio with view of Market Street. Food was ok, but not outstanding. Disappointed with the staff- both at the bar and on the patio. Not friendly, and the service was slow. We won't return.

I don’t care who you are, this is your kind of place because the people, the people who work there rock! And guess what, you want to hang out with people who rock! Craft cocktail and beer selection represent any taste! The bartenders, hostess, pizza oven cook, chefs, everyone wanted to chat and be friends and were proud to share about their city and the places to check out as visitors. Journey cd playing in the background was a plus too.

We were in the area for my girlfriend's work conference and she tasked me with finding a lunch spot close. Saw the reviews for this place and they were decent plus it offered a rooftop so I figured why not roll the dice. The food was great. Not from Philly so realize the blasphemy but the best cheesesteak I had (and had 3-4 others) was the flatbread cheesesteak here. She had the quinoa salad and both were pleased. Would definitely recommend.

We had a large party of 14 people after a work conference and had already made reservations in advance. The hostess wasn't too friendly but we all got to sit outside on the patio and from there, the service was fine. Shared a few apps; calamari, mac & cheese, tater tots - very yummy! Great drinks and great selections! I had the eggplant sandwich was super good - very thinly sliced eggplant parm cooked int he wood oven. Definitely would love to go back when I'm in Philly again in the future!

I was looking for something within walking distance and a friend recommended. I have celiacs and needed something gluten free. I had the American Burger without the bun and thought it was good but the fries were crispy and AMAZING. My mom ordered the philly cheese steak said it was pretty good. I would probably come back for the fries.

Stopped here with my wife after she ran the Half Marathon. We stopped in for some drinks and lunch. We ate at the second floor bar and was greeted by a very nice bartender. She was attentive and was always looking to help us and keep us engaged with conversation. The food was pretty good but quite frankly, at that time, I could have eaten anything and it would have been fine. The drink menu was fair with some decent beer options. The upstairs area also has an outdoor area for warmer weather which is nice.

The best part about this restaurant was the pizza. A few people in our party got it, and loved it. The service was pretty bad though. Our waiter would drop things off really quickly and leave before we could say anything. He also didn't make eye contact very often. They weren't very busy, so it was odd.

Nice place. Great location in the historic district. Fantastic pizza cooked in a wood-fired oven. Plus other food options but we only ordered pizzas. Friendly staff. Nice rooftop seating area. Cool glass bottle lighting display above the rooftop bar. I was a tourist but the prices seemed very reasonable. I can't compare them to other places as I don't know the restaurant prices in this area.

I stopped here by accident, simply looking for a quiet place to have a beer and some food and I am glad I did.. !!! good Philly cheesesteak and nice craft beers as well

I'm sorry but there is no excuse for ever using Cheese Whiz which is what Sonny uses. The Cheesesteaks here are made with top grade beef tips and good cheese served on their own flatbread and very reasonably priced! Highly recommended!

Loved the building and old decor. The food was good, timely, and nice atmosphere. There is outside balcony seating too. Not upscale or crazy fancy as other reviews seem to expect. Just a nice place to grab a quick bite.

This is placed near the center, and it is really good! We went there for lunch but they also recommend it for drinks at night. We tried the lemonade and a delicious Morning Jam Burger, but what was absolutely the best of our lunch was the Cheesesteak that was simply delicious. And I have to say, if you are a tourist, cheesesteak is typical from Philly and this is a really nice place to try it.

Staff not friendly at all.....beer choice blah. About 8 of us stopped over to have drinks and apps and hostess would not move two tables together to accommodate us yet bar was wide open. Too bad, they lost a couple of hundred dollars in sales and we will never return.Go to National Mechanics, they glady moved tables together to accommodate us!

Went here for a working lunch. Very nice atmosphere. We both ordered the chicken with grilled pineapple in a pita. We had the fries. The fries were very good but a little salty for my taste. The pita sandwich was fresh and flavorful. Cost with tip was $16 per person. Would definitely come back. Service was fast but not rushed.

Unpretentious bar/restaurant with great food. The menu is not extensive, but it's smart. A few appetizers, soups and salads. All sandwiches are served on flatbread. Several pizzas. A handful of entrees. And about four dessert options. My wife and I both chose onion soup and were not disappointed. Great flavor and plenty of onions. Not a lot of cheese, but enough. My wife then had quinoa salad and loved it. I had an gyro, which worked very well with the flatbread. Desserts were just OK (bread pudding; chocolate pudding). Great selection of beers on draught and in bottles. Plus wine and hard cider. Service had a few hiccups. Our server disappeared for a while, but I admit that other staff seemed to try to cover. Fortunately, we had the time.

We stopped in for lunch. We had the mac and cheese, onion soup, cheese pizza, and wedge salad. Everything was delicious. It's not often we go somewhere and everybody enjoys their meal. Our server was very friendly as well. I highly recommend this place if you are in the neighborhood.

If you are going to have grilled cheese on your menu, YOU HAVE TO KNOCK IT OUT OF THE PARK. Otherwise don't bother, because it will get you a bad review. I had their grilled cheese and watched it stay on the pass for at least 10 minutes. You have to serve grilled cheese hot or its a cheese sandwich. Poor service is the culprit here. I also had the pork shank. it was tasty. Its definitely for meat lovers, but the white barbq sauce is only a mayo based sauce that you definitely can pass on.

My girlfriend and I ate here two nights in a row because we enjoyed it so much. The food was delicious, the service was good, and you are close to great locations such as Penn's Landing, Independence Hall, and Christ Church. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Stop in before the Arden! Great wine selection. Boundless beer choices. Fun bartenders! Pizza delicious. Not fancy food but good & fresh. Always good chat with folks at the bar. Longer stay? Upstairs dining on deck fun!

It was packed and we were glad we called. Really good flatbreads and beer selection. Staff okay....not really helpful Quick turnaround on food

This was the best food we ate on our Philadelphia trip. Everything was delicious, and the Tater Tots are true a stand out! It took a little while to get our food, but we didn't really mind because it gave us time to relax in the fun atmosphere inside the restaurant.

My wife and I stopped for supper before a show at the Arden. They do not have a discount relationship with the Arden. Service was fast and friendly and not the least bit pushy. I had calamari over pasta. A lot of pasta, not so much calamari, but a delicious zingy sauce. I had a delicious arugula salad. My wife enjoyed her wedge salad and herb chicken over mashed potatoes and string beans.. TV at the bar was not distracting to us who sat at a table. It was a cold night but some patrons opted for the enclosed roof seating.

We were looking for a place to get good american food, and this place fit the bill. The prices were fair. I'm pretty sure this is more of a beer drinking place, and I don't drink, but if you like beer they had a wide selection. My only complaint would be that they didn't have any diet soda, which I drink a lot, but not really a big deal. The veggie burger was great!

I came here for a late lunch after a Phillis game. We sat on the roof top and had really tasty gourmet pizza. They also have a good beer selection. Be careful about parking!! I was 2 minutes late to the meter and got a ticket :(

We came here specifically for the upstairs eating and drinking beer garden. It is actually mostly reserved for eating but both times we managed to get a seat for some beers and cocktails. We did not eat but the good we saw certainly looked great. The bar staff upstairs were very friendly and helpful and the prices were normal for philly. Would go again and try the food.

Always enjoy a weekend lunch or early diner here. The outdoor seating allows one to watch the Ben franklin Bridge which is lite at night of glimpse the steeple of the historical Christ Church. My husband enjoys the craft beers and I the wines, The pizza is Neopolitan and delicious. A treat for the entire family.
Very fresh ingredients
Everything seems home made. They even make their own flatbread for the sandwiches. My one son commented, "I'd normally only order pizza on a menu when there is nothing else to choose. This is a place I order the pizza because it's fantastic."
