Best BBQ I've had in a long time

By Jason D |

This is probably the best meal that I had while on my vacation to Las Vegas. I ordered the two item combo and a side. I chose the Baby Back Ribs, St. Louis Style Ribs and the Piggy Chips. Sooooo delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant was really cool and the bartender / waiter was very helpful. I'd recommend it and I plan to go back on my next visit.

Nice little spot

By Kevin B |

We stopped in at Ricks for a quick drink and a bite to eat. The day time bar tender was friendly and fun. Service was great and the beer was nice and cold. We will definitely stop in again.

Delicious!!

By Annabel A |

The food is amazing. Staff were friendly! We came by late and ordered take out. By the time we got to our hotel, I was starving. It was worth the wait!! The ribs were so tender!! Would definitely be back!!

AMAZING BBQ

By chellyanna |

My husband wanted to go to the pawn stars shop while in Vegas. We were both starving when we got there and noticed the bbq place next door. I assumed it was a tourist trap since it was right next to pawn stars. Boy was I wrong. We sat upstairs at the bar and it wasn't as busy as I expected. Our bartender was so friendly. The drinks were great and the food was AMAZING. The whole time I was eating I was in a food bliss. Next time I am in Vegas I will surely be back! The décor is really cool too!

I expected more

By noel c |

I expected more,I’m a big fan of the show and I thought a trip to his tavern was going to be up there with the pawn shop,no it was poxy food and we payed 70 dollars for cold ribs that were ok and my wife got the half chicken and a coke each ,I thought it was going to be a big bar area ,but no a bench and stool, and some homeless bum going over and putting his face over our food 🤮major let down 😔Uber in and out of the area aswell it’s way rougher now than my last visit to that area in 2018

Some of the best BBQ ever

By Kristen C |

We were just looking for a nice BBQ place for lunch, and we saw the good reviews for Rollin’ Smoke so we thought we’d give it a try. We had no idea that it was *THAT* Rick, with the famous pawn shop across the parking lot. A nice surprise — and even better that this was some of the best BBQ we’ve ever tasted anywhere. (And we’re pretty picky!) The staff was friendly and nice, and they gave us great recommendations when we couldn’t decide. We’ll definitely return next time we visit!

Salty leftover BBQ

By Robert S |

Very very salty BBQ, food was old, tasted like it was leftover from the day before. Wife had rib, burnt dried out and overly salty with way too much spices. I had combo plate #7 all meat was dried out and salty. Brisket was just shavings no slice of meat, chicken was old and everything salty . Cornbread good, collar greens good. Don’t recommend it.

Hi pricing ill explain

By Dave F |

The food here is definately good especially the burnt ends. The staff was super nice. So here is the kicker if you visit there highland location which i think is better ayways. The 2 meat combo is $5 less at the highland location. Which leads me to believe its all cheaper there. The pawn stars own the building hence the name Ricks rolling smoke

Great BBQ and Staff

By hwhite220 |

Had to stop by the Gold and Silver Pawn Shop. Right across the parking lot, I could smell the BBQ. I took a chance on the “Out of the State of Texas” BBQ and glad I did. The Brisket was good and pork wasn’t greasy. The sides were great (beans and greens) and topped off with banana pudding. Everything tasted great and was well priced. Destiny was our Bartender and server. She is wonderful, shared a bit of her time with us, filling in on some of local color and history. Her smile and attitude made the visit so much the better. Ask for her!!

A Pawn Stars Dream

By Dave J |

this is Where you will see Rick from pawn stars and is a great place to eat or drink great food and great service a must try place for anyone.

Ooohhhhh sooooo gooood

By MizzNJ |

We highly enjoyed the barbecue, it was fresh, hot and tasty. The facility was clean and not too far from Fremont St. We arrived at 11am as soon as they opened but the were out of Mac/cheese :(.

Great BBQ & Service

By Jo J |

After going to the famous pawn shop next door, we decided to grab an ice cold beer and some BBQ at this location. My husband and I weren't that hungry so decided to share a 3 choice platter which we had brisket tips, pulled pork and ribs. The BBQ did not need sauce as it was well prepared and the mac n cheese was so good that my husband has asked me to replicate it at home. lol Service was awesome and the 2 guys working that day behind the bar were more than accommodating with our questions. Definitely recommend stopping in here seems you're in the area and getting a bite to eat.

Rick's Rollin Smoke BBQ

By EvanGuthrie |

Rick's Rollin Smoke BBQ on Las Vegas Boulevard in Las Vegas has delicious and flavorful BBQ and much more. Well worth the visit for everything that they have available here. I have had a positive experience every time I have been here. Good brisket.

Pretty damn good

By dayleebs |

Stumbled upon this place by accident, and being from the south, I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the BBQ was. The Mac n cheese is really good.

The best place off the strip!

By Ian S |

So, we ate at a bunch of places but this beats them all...hands down, for a relaxed, easy bite that won't break the bank. Great menu, amazing drinks card, Mark behind the bar is awesome, knows his stuff and really customer focused. And there's mama too, what she doesn't know ain't worth knowing. Miss this place and you're definitely missing out, it's straight out of the top drawer of places to eat and drink!

One of the best BBQ

By Gustavo B |

The 2 floor bar is amazing! The bartender( mark) is amazing and very knowledgeable about the menu. The food was amazing but mark service was amazing! The slider was amazing, the nachos were good and the cornbread was awesome!!

Coolest Life

By Tony the RVer |

Right across the parking lot from Gold and Silver trading. Good bbq. Prices have caught up with Bidenomics. $22 for a combo meal. See our YouTube channel Coolest Life.

Great value and food

By onetimek7 |

My 17-year-old son and I went immediately after going to the pawn shop which is about 100 feet away. I think 10 10 o’clock 1030 when we went and the food was ready to go my son and I both got the redneck nachos with which were absolutely phenomenal And the prices are very reasonable, especially for a barbecue joint nowadays, and I got the homemade potato salad as a side, which is gotta be the best I’ve ever had. There’s a great smoky smell when you walk in. It’s clean but for what we got and the price for barbecue was unbelievable definitely a must go too

Fun and different experience!

By Bringonthehols |

Easy to get to Rick’s bar from the strip. Take the bus and get off at the Bonneville transport centre then walk about 5 mins along road to get to it. Pawn shop is fun to see. The bar has a good vibe and Rick was there serving when we went. He’s one crazy guy! His bodyguard follows him Around everywhere. Sings along to all the music the dj plays and serenaded the women at times! Food was good. Not too cheap but was good quality. Don’t ask for a photo as he’ll tell you when he’s ready and not before! He turned lots of people down until the right time for him! Put a few people off but we had fun. With a visit especially if you watch his show.

HUGE portions.

By fogstershadow |

Rocked up here as we were wanting to go in the world famous pawn shop next door. Portions were huge and the ribs were nothing short of spectacular. Another tip for you, make sure you get the mac and cheese, WOW.

Rick's was Smokin'

By Cynthia R |

This barbecue place is a hidden gem in downtown Vegas. The barbecue was great with large portion sizes and affordable. The cook and staff were friendly and very accommodating. The only concern is if you are looking for a fresh meal, the food is already prepared, sitting out but the next time I am visiting in Vegas, I will definitely go there again.

Great food and staff

By Mark G |

Had a great night Friday here. Well worth a visit. Food was great... Drinks inexpensive and staff worked really hard and were fantastic. Antoine from TV show was there. He was great and friendly. Also Rick was there and served a few people but did not interact much. He posed for photos near the end but did not really want to chat to anyone which was a shame. Go and try it anytime. Do not wait for a night Rick serves as it makes no difference to night

Very good food

By michaeltross |

Only been here once, but look forward to coming back. Conveniently located in the heart of downtown Vegas. The meat was good and the bbq sauce is amazing. Good prices.

Stopped in an adult beverage

By flzdmpm03 |

After checkin our Gold and Silver Pawn Shop walked over to Rick’s bar for a drink. They serve bbq, but we only had a drink. Rick was bartending that nite but we did not go back to see him. The bartender was great and fun to talk to. Chumley’s candy shop was below....he wasn’t there so we didn’t stop in.

Drinks and entertainment

By Michelle |

What a fantastic place, staff were so helpful and friendly and made my husbands 50th birthday a good 4 day celebration. Drinks were lovely, and we tried the burnt ends on our last day ( Monday) they were amazing. Massive Thankyou to Alexas, Paige and Mark for welcoming us so warmly. We even got roped into the trivia quiz on Sunday evening which was a great laugh. Thankyou.

BBQ done right!

By Usia2014 |

We stopped for supper at Rick's BBQ and had a very good meal. Lots of meat, done just right with tasty potato salad. Big portions. Upstairs had a nice old fashioned tavern. Staff were very friendly. We enjoyed our visit and food.

early dinner 4pm

By BLKMANdoingthings |

we visited on 4 july 2020 the service was amazing we ate in the 2nd floor tavern very friendly lively atmosphere bartender/waiter was awesome we had chicken brisket combo -- beef rib bone link combo greens were very tasty potatoe salad with bacon was on point we truly enjoyed our early dinner reasonably priced cold air conditioning pretty clean spot a must visit establishment

Good, but average bbq

By thetheaterdante |

I am more of a sweeter bbq guy. The sauces may have been good but we’re very thinly put on the pulled pork sandwich.

GREAT FOOD !!!

By TerryStoke_UK_ |

If you want tasty food at the right price, this is the place. We had better food here than some of the expensive places we visited in Vegas.

Great spot

By Jibarra8 |

After a wedding we stopped by they were very accommodating and friendly and set up group all together. It’s not a very big spot but the food was great the staff was friendly most of the seating is outside with the small bar on the inside. The bar has a karaoke inside it’s small but definitely a fun spot. The price is very reasonable for both drinks and food. I had brisket which was really good but the ribs where especially good and recommend them. The spot is right next to pawn start show building and owned by same people. It will definitely be a stop every time we come down especially because of the staff and reasonable price on drinks.

Best food in Vegas !

By Katie L |

Best food we had in Vegas. Mark, our bartender was amazing! Give that man a raise bc he knows that menu like the back of his hand !

The Best Barbeque I have ever had! Watch out Phillips in Los Angeles.....

By 305sheilan |

We love Las Vegas for its variety of restaurants. We watch Pawn Stars and realized that they had a bbq place adjacent to the Pawn Shop. I am pretty picky and I have to admit that Rick;s meat is sooooooooooooo tender! Oh my goodness! I also love the variety of sauces to choose from. On our most recent visit, now that I am a Pescatarian, I had the loaded baked potatoe, cole slaw and cornbread. My hubby had the pork ribs, chopped beef, mac 'n cheese, greens, and cornbread. Lastly, many thanks to Destiny and Erik for providing excellent customer service. These two individuals were very pleasant and professional. Best, Sheila and Darrell N. Los Angeles, CA

Do you want good BBQ?

By markrP6479WV |

Goto ricks! Honestly this BBQ is delicious! I got the ribs and burnt ends, both just melted in your mouth and the taste was incredible. Highly recommend

It’s ok....

By travelingman130 |

It’s ok.... nothing to write home about. I’d eat it again probably. The bar was pretty cool. Beer wasn’t over priced

Best BBQ in town!

By anagorski |

Lots of free parking. Very friendly staff. Plenty of seating. The burnt ends are awesome! The ribs are very good

This place is smokin!

By bluezlover |

We did not expect bbq of this level in Vegas. This is competition level. We had just finished at the pawn shop and the smell really drew us in. The St Louis ribs are as good as you will get anywhere. They are meaty, juicy and cut easily with the plastic knife in house. We watched them making the sauces so they're not bought. The brisket sandwich was also killer. Sides are very good but spicy. Chipotle slaw has a kick and is made with corn. Excellent. The mac and cheese has quite the burn also. I don't mind spice but it could bother a lot of people. It's a little expensive but for this quality of food I would do again and again. Trophies are on display for bbq events proving their prowess in this profession. A must do.

We would definitely come back.

By sweetpea723 |

We came for lunch and a snack. It was pretty frickin tasty. We had the burnt ends salad, burnt ends stuff yam and then the smoked Mac and cheese. It was all so good. Great chill environment.

Best Brisket Sandwhich!

By Kevin M |

Being in the restaurant business for 43 years I have worked for some great concepts that have had great barbeque. I was impressed with how friendly the staff was when I walked in r\the door. The brisket sandwich was had a very unique peppery taste that was amazing! Chipotle Cole slaw and bacon potato salad were also great. They had 2 types of BBQ sauce that were incredible! I was leaving that day and Rick was going to be bartending that night upstairs at his tavern.I can't wait till my next journey to Vegas. This will be my first stop!

Unbelievable experience you must try it

By Andrew David V |

Rick is well known on Tv as Rick from Pawn stars with his family. We visited the shop which was a great experience then we went next door to his Bbq tavern. We ordered the single bone brisket and it was the most amazing food i have ever eaten. I looked at it as it looks burnt but it fell apart and was so moist, tasty and enjoyable. The service was impeccable. Well done Rick.

We tried it.

By Kyle-Kayla |

The bartender was great! The place was clean. We only ordered appetizers and a couple drinks. The redneck nachos were good.

Great BBQ, good prices.

By kzakowski |

We heard great reviews, so checked it out after Zak Bagans museum (a short walk). Great food, large portions, friendly staff. Indoor and outdoor seating.

Good BBQ!

By SierraKim |

What a fun place to eat some tasty BBQ. It was right next to the Pawn Stars Shop so you can't miss it. We ate upstairs for a little bit of a view of the city. All around tasty BBQ and the service was fabulous!

Very Good! Almost Excelent

By Oscar Ceballos |

The Ribs where the best, perfectly cooked, tender but not too much. The BBQ Beans where also great, perfect cooked and not too sweet, nicely complemented with the bread and some hot sauce. The Pulled Pork sandwich was dissapointing, because of two things, first the bread was a little old, to hard on the edges, and second and most important, the meat was very dry and cold; I suppose this could be fixed with the BBQ sauce, but they dont pour enough on the top, its just a little BBQ sauce and if you want more is not warm enough, I guess that is the most important thing that fails in this place, the BBQ sauce should be very hot so you can pour as much as you want, I mean; Its not ketchup!!!

A good little find

By Linz132 |

We came across this bar after visiting the Gold and Silver Pawn Shop. We didn't have food, just drinks. The barman made our visit. We had great conversation with him and other guests. He was knowledgable about the beers on offer and gave free samples. Happy hour began just as we were leaving but he kindly gave us the discount anyway. He did say that Rick only works there on Friday and Saturday nights and he leaves photo opportunities to the end of the night. Even without Rick, we had a lovely couple of hours here!

Absolutely Brilliant!!

By Kerry Louise D |

Honestly, this was the best experience we have had in vegas thus far. We visited tonight and it was an open mic night which we thoroughly enjoyed. We sat at the bar and big big thanks to Farmer John who was an impeccable barman! The drinks are delicious, especially Amaretto Sours with a dirty cherry :) The food however….. out of this world. The best bbq we have had. We shared a platter for $44 and the size of it was huge! It was the perfect ‘American night out’ for a newly wed English couple. We absolutely loved it. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Not too expensive for food and drink and thoroughly worth visiting! You won’t regret it. We only have 3 more days in vegas and we really hope to go back!

Food was good, flies were not.

By kelleyswo |

The food was great but the place could've been cleaner and maybe find a way to keep the flies out. A good selection and the cole slaw is bomb.

Worth a quick stop

By N0rmalee |

We just got drinks here while checking out the pawn shop and Chumlee’s candy shop. The bartender was really nice and friendly to talk to and we met 2 couples from Croatia!

The most expensive and disappointing BBQ we had in 15 years.

By David L |

We got takeout from the location on Grand Canyon Drive. We got the Pit Special of 5 meats and 3 sides. We substituted burnt ends for the hot links and got charged an extra $6 for it. Did not see it till we got home. The burnt end portion was smaller than my wallet and so-so. The 1/4 chicken was clearly a 1/4 Cornish game hen. I cannot recall in all my 50+ years of ever seeing a bird that small called a chicken. The flavor was mediocre. The brisket was not bad but, again, the portion was small - 3 slices. The pulled pork was nothing different from what we make at home for a fraction of the cost. Once we got home we weighted only the meat - less than 2 pounds! We got sides of kick'n BBQ beans, waffle fries, and dirty rice. The beans were not bad - just very small - got 6 teaspoon full. The waffle fries portion was the only thing big about the whole meal but, so much seasoned salt was smashed into them, we had to toss half the portion as we could not swallow them. My wife is from Louisiana and thought the dirty rice would be safe. Even Cajuns do not put that much cayenne pepper in their rice. Each of us had 1 spoonful and gagged. For the $40 we spent, we will not be going back. Neither will our friends, family or colleagues. We did get 2 rolls for the pulled pork. These were shoved on top of the meat container and a soggy soupy mess in the 20 minutes it took us to drive home. The Las Vegas valley has lots of BBQ places. A few are actually good at what they do. Rollin Smoke is not one of them. I grew up in St. Louis and went to college in Texas. I have had my share of quality BBQ. Rollin Smoke BBQ would not survive in either place.

All You Can Eat Meat Fest

By Doug S |

I opted for all you can eat. Plate #1 is three meats and two sides. Includes a pitcher of PBR, which is very helpful while consuming so much meat. My understanding is you can get anything on the menu. I got the beef rib, baby back ribs and chopped brisket. Beef rib was huge, and incredibly tender Slid off the bone when I bit into it. Baby back ribs were excellent, too. Chopped brisket was very good, just threw me for a loop because I'm accustomed to brisket slices. Sides are solid. I had coleslaw and loaded potato salad. Both were fresh, and above average for barbeque joints. I was pretty stuffed after round 1. Got a hot link and pulled pork in round 2. Hot link had nice spicy aftertaste. Pulled pork was decent. Though I started getting the meat sweats in round 2, wonder if I would have rated the pulled pork higher if I had eaten it in round 1. By the end of round 2, I was done. Happy to have some remaining PBR to recover from the intense meat tastes. Next time I'll have to try their smoked meat loaf and chicken. You can also order sandwiches or platters with two or three meats, if your appetite is more moderate. It's in a decent two-story building. Downstairs has bar stools scattered along the walls. My understanding is you need to stay downstairs for all you can eat. There's a small but popular bar upstairs. I think you can order and eat single serving options upstairs.

Great food, awesome portions, fun atmosphere

Really enjoyed the casual dining experience. Excellent portion sizes and very friendly to servicemembers and veterans of the US Armed Forces.

A Must-Try BBQ Spot in Vegas

By Paul L |

My wife and I stopped in at Rick’s Rollin Smoke BBQ during our last trip to Vegas and we were blown away! The ribs, mac and cheese, and slider were absolutely delicious—packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere was fun, and the restaurant itself was spotless. Everything about our experience was fantastic. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting Vegas!

Don't miss this place!!

By VegasLover16 |

The real sleeper hit was Rick's BBQ joint across the parking lot from the Pawn store!! OMG. It smelled like Texas in there. Everything was authentic and delicious. Chumlee also has a candy store there. He was there meeting everyone, signing stuff, taking pics- could not have been nicer. I definitely recommend taking the uber trip from the strip. Rick bartends at the BBQ place some nights too.

Disappointing....!!!!

By The_Travel_Family |

Grabbed an Uber to see Rick after Facebook announced he would be bar tending.. got there around 2120pm no sign of Rick, grabbed a drink served in a can..!! Poor quality bar, staff ignored everyone who wasn’t local, I do not recommend, false advertising on their part. I will not be returning.

It’s a great bar with out Rick

By Brent H |

Ladies beware when the owner is around. The food is good. The staff is good. The owner .....swing and a miss. It’s a disappointment to see it but I Would suggest that you don’t bother in making the trip to see the famous rick.

Superb bar and food

By Lee B |

Fantastic reception and greeted by Michael who have us a insight to what they have in drinks and food great atmosphere and has made my holiday special:)

Lunch at Ricks rolling ribs

By herbrealestate |

Food was ok, brisket was average, Chicken was perfect. Patato salad was very good. Macaroni salad needs a lot of work. Staff was very good. i love pawn stars and the old man was the best, God bless his soul. I hope you take this with an incentive to do better and not an insult. God bless

Amazing Bloody Mary

By cegemoore1976 |

Stopped in for a drink, got this monstrous drink with a rib and burnt ends slider on top. This was so freaking good. The rib was so tender and juicy. The slider was incredible. I used their Arkansauce and Mama’s Sweet bbq sauce. So good. The Bloody Mary was beyond good.

Amazing BBQ, awesome place for a casual dinner

By GerryKurl |

Went here on a whim, I had driven by earlier with some business partners. We had the Beef Ribs, Brisket, Chicken, St. Louis ribs, Baby Backs, Loaded potatoes, cheesy mac. Plenty of food, great eats, great staff. This place is for real, and you will not be disappointed. The cook, (with Raiders Tat and Destiny) were simply fantastic and took care of our every need. A very pleasant dining experience. I will be back next time I am in Vegas-BABY!

Quick lunch

By Samantharhodes85 |

Stopped here for food & drinks after visiting the porn shop. The menu is quite limited we though with not much choice. The food was ok tasty but just ok! The staff that work here are nice and friendly especially the guy in the bar upstairs.

Best Brisket & BEST Sides!

By Amanda S |

Ate upstairs at this place after a long travel day from Indy. Service and atmosphere was exactly what you need after a long day, perfection! I split with my MIL and we had brisket (so tender and flavorful), cornbread (yum), chipotle slaw (best slaw ever), mac n cheese (yes), greens (comfort food, so fresh), and bacon potato salad (daaamn)…this meal was all handmade, fresh, new flavor combos with nothing too crazy. We loved it!!! Highly recommend, you will not regret it!

Down town LV

By Spaulwill |

We spotted the bar when visiting the Pawn shop. I drink Guinness and I have to say it was a great pint the staff were really friendly and couldn’t do enough well worth a visit

We came back!!!

By Jeremy M |

This location was one of the main reasons we went back to Vegas and will keep going back! Enjoyed even more BBQ this time. The best I have had anywhere in Vegas maybe even this side of Nashville, yeah that includes Texas! Location is like a hometown bar, staff is very friendly and prices are decent. We are already looking at booking next years trip mainly to go here. Some nights are Karaoke and weekend ladies nights!

Great BBQ off the strip

By Nathan L |

We weren't quite sure what to expect. Figured Rick might have just put his name on a BBQ place. Man were we wrong! BBQ was great! Very good potions for the money. I had the ribs and they were very good. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Located in the same parking lot as the pawnshop so that was cool to see after dinner. Would go back. Not too far of a ride.

It’s ok, nothing special

By fabiano r |

I don’t understand how a place like this can have so many good reviews for being fantastic, delicious etc. It’s really overpriced and the ribs are the worst i had on this road trip!! ....i’ve been eating ribs 4 times per week for a month 😂😂 but here, i would never come back... they are ok but there is a lot better around.

Nice little find

By alastairbru |

Get off the strip and see things in Vegas - bit of UK tv nostalgia and even seen Chum Lee in his sweet shop. Have a beer upstairs and no need to gamble your life away with old people trying to get rich quickly before they die.

Stop for drinks and bbq

By brad c |

Food was excellent we had bbq tacos sat on outside dinning overlooking Las Vegas Blvd. Place wasn't too busy waitress was inattentive had to go to the bar and order second round of drinks food is 5 star service was poor at best.

We ordered out ribs and salad.

By Chas49 |

The ribs were well cooked and juicy, the sauce was sparse and there was no extra sauce sent with the order.

Sad food. Not at the standards of the pawn shop

By todolist |

Oh man; what a great idea. We were so pleased to find something to eat right on sight while visiting their famous pawn shop. But the food: ugg. Rick; call me and I’ll hook you up! Edible, but maybe the worst BBQ ever. Absolutely doesn’t match the top dollar price. Employees acted like they were unsure how to handle customers. Was almost funny. So much potential. Currently, it’s just a tourist trap.

Best St. Louis Ribs

By Tazman |

They make the most amazing St. Louis Ribs, large thick very little fat, and juicey. Their side are also very good, will be ordering again.

Excellent!!

By Melinda G |

After visiting the Pawn shop from Seattle, we decided to have lunch at Ricks BBQ. Was REALLY good. We ordered the burnt end brisket sandwich with the potato salad. The sandwich was tender and delicious. The potato salad tasted definitely homemade. It was so good we forgot to take pictures BEFORE we ate. Much better priced than on the strip!!!! Our server Mark was awesome! He was very hospitable and kindly answered all our questions about Pawn Stars. Would definitely come back on our next visit to Vegas.

Good food especially potato salad.

By Albert |

We all stopped in for lunch after visiting the Pawn Shop. We had the pulled pork and barbecue, it was all pretty good. I think the potato salad was some of the best I ever had. Lunch is a must here if your hungry.

Good BBQ

By Barbofwaxhaw |

Great BBQ. Surprised as thought would be just a tourist trap but was the real deal. These guys know BBQ. Even the “spicy” sauce was not too hot. Nice outside seating. Was not too busy. Service was great and super friendly.

After pawn shop visit.

By Jpalmtre2 |

Great bartender, we actually just had a cocktail and didn't eat. Sadly we had just come from a late breakfast, the BBQ smelled so good. The folks that were eating seemed to be enjoying themselves while I was enjoying the aroma. Occasionally Rick himself comes in to tend bar, he was coming the night we had been in but we didn't stay.

Fresh Bbq

By Deedra007 |

I enjoyed the burnt ends plate. The people behind the counter and up stairs at the bar were very friendly and promoted each others skills. The food and the drinks was a great end to the week.

Double DIP

By GloriaMoana |

The food was ok. The meal for the kids was pretty stupid. Had pepper all through the meat and the mac and cheese, the guy behind the counter reccomended the meal,so that was a BIG waste of money. Were eating and a employee comes from downstairs and grabs a spoon and takes a mouthfull of mac and cheese and then goes in again!! eeew double dipping who does that in front of customers. Not that good for us to go back.

Not fantastic

By Ruth F |

We ate there and had pulled pork, baby back ribs and chicken with bacon potato salad for a side. Can't say the food was great and it was fairly expensive for what we ordered. Their BBQ sauce also leaves a lot to be desired.

Amazing Ribs

By Shazy2014 |

We are staying in the Bellagio and got an Uber to take us to Ricks place, this is a must the food was sooo Delicious the ribs are to die for. We got some more to take back for later. Our eyes were bigger than our belly’s.

Good food

By livelife h |

We got a platter as a part of a tour that we were on when I tell you the mac and cheese was delicious I like the taste of the brisket and the rib was falling off the bone. When I come back to Vegas this is definitely a stop I will come to

Awesome BBQ

By Billy W |

This restaurant is located in the same parking lot as Pawn Stars (GOLD AND SILVER PAWN) very good atmosphere, friendly staff, a little on the slow side, it was pretty much 1 guy running the whole place with seemed like a new girl on cash. The food was on point, we had chicken and brisket tacos, withe fries and a side order of ribs. The flavor and sauces worked perfectly together, also it was a taco deal day so pricing was on point as well, If it was regular priced I dont know if it would be a huge deal, but still very reasonable in my opinion.

Great food and portion size

By Rob Y |

I visited here with friends in November 2023 and had the St Louis ribs, sliced brisket, pulled pork and smoked mac & cheese. Every part of it was delicious and arguably it was more food than I could comfortably eat by myself! I was disappointed that the burnt ends were sold out for the day but I totally understand they are in limited supply and we weren't there early. I'd happily come back some time to try and have them!

Great BBQ, atmosphere, and people

By Tyler D |

I had the pulled pork sandwich with a couple pork ribs on the side and potato salad. Also sampled the burnt ends. I've got high standards for BBQ since I was raised near Kansas City, but this place certainly understands how to smoke meats the right way. They gave me a peek in the kitchen and I was impressed. The gentleman who served us was very new to the job and was slow, but that's understandable. Overall, a great spot to grab lunch or dinner for a reasonable price.

Absolutely amazing Food

By Mark P |

I love my slow cooked BBQ and I heard this place was good so we spent an hour or so walking along the strip from the middle to the Rick's Rollin smoke bbq. I was really glad we walked as we ate so much I would have felt guilty other wise. We had a platter for 2 and a few beers just what you need after a nice long walk. Then a cheeky tequila to make sure the walk home back to Planet Holywood was a fun one. Thank you very much for your wonderful food and hospitality. We are definitely coming back again in a day or too before we leave. Thank you Mark and Chienmei Pritchard

It does not matter if you want to see the pawn shop, you should eat here!

Awesome food. I must have dripped some on my jacket since it smelled like brisket for a week, I got hungry every time i put it on. Rick has created a mini theme park and the BBQ is part of it. This BBQ is as good as what I have had in Texas.

Great burnt ends!

By MS11M22S |

Not the fanciest place, but staff were friendly, service was quick & for a bite of lunch it was great. They served the most delicious burnt ends!

Best mac and cheese ever!

By Bonnie R |

Went there with my daughter for drinks only, but saw they had a side of mac and cheese that looked worth a try for a mid afternoon snack. I don't know if it was the combination of cheeses, or the flavor created from (I'm guessing) BBQ sauce. The flavor was amazing, and the portion large. The price was right, only $5.99!

Hidden gem aside Gold and Silver Pawn Shop.

By Tina S |

Great food. Good atmosphere. Did mention delicious and well priced? We were instantly comfortable with a good view from 2nd floor.

The food was great until I noticed the bobby pin sticking up from my Burnt Ends Baked Potato. Needless to say I was finished. It took awhile, but eventually I was refunded the money.

THE ABSOLUTE BEST 🔥 CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK!

By Jeremykirchneronline |

Best $20.00 each I and my Friends/ brother's have spent on meal in along time! Sounds a little spendy for lunch to some? Well remember this place is in Vegas! Its a great place to go. I personally have driven by it more times than I wish to recall when I've been in Vegas. Never again, will I make that mistake! The meat is so tender, the portions can fill a fat guy like me up! So great! We had lunch in the middle of our guys week while on a Annie bananie tour. It was so good that on our last day before going to the airport (right by the Lux, where we stayed this time) we took an uber all the way over to Ricks BBQ for one more great meal before going home/ back to reality! A+ HIGHLY recommended!

Most arrogant man I have ever met

By Lisa & Lee |

Went down to Ricks Tavern as we knew he would be bartendering and to see the man himself. It was not that busy and when Rick went onto the balcony my wife asked Rick for a photo,to which he turned his back on her and told one of his employees to tell my wife that he would not do any photos until around 2 hours later around 10pm. I know he must get fed up with people asking for selfies, but if it was not for those people he would not be as well known as he is. It seems the fame has gone to his big arrogant head and maybe he should take a leaf out of Chumlees book, who when we went to his sweet shop could not have been more pleasant and who was pleased to pose for photos. After watching Pawn Stars on tv, I have seen a different side to Rick, maybe the real side, and what you see on tv is just for show. Maybe it was asking too much for him to take 10 seconds out of his day for us, after all we had not come that far, only the UK.

Great place for an afternoon drink!

By Bobbie W |

We did not eat at the restaurant — but damn it sure did smell good!! Enjoyed a couple drinks upstairs at the bar — great venue, good prices, fun atmosphere!! Best of all Rick was our bartender!! Very cool to see while here on vacation from Michigan!! Might be stopping back in later this week for some bbq!!

What a great day

By jackiemorgan121 |

We went to see the Pawn Store in downtown Las Vegas that's on TV. I was expecting it to be appointment only for the store but the doors were open and in we walked. Unfortunately none of the stars were there but the staff were great. We needed lunch and a drink and we're directed to Ricks BBQ tavern and swiftly went upstairs to the bar.....fab food served upstairs, great hospitality with Mike you takes care of the bar, and the customers were all very friendly. We had a very enjoyable afternoon/early evening meeting some great people... it's a must if you are in the area....

Best BBQ in Vegas for sure,

By Alex Rod |

Best BBQ in Vegas for sure, next to the famous Pawn Shop the place is very rustic but food and prices are really good, if you eat inside you will go back home with some smokey smell, outside is a good option and is fun to see all the pedestrian passing by.

Never again

By F5993GMericd |

Absolutely the worst, most dry, flavorless BBQ I have ever put into my mouth. Don’t even have real sweet tea. Cornbread was good, sauces were eh. Paid $60 for two meals that we didn’t even eat because it was so bad. Wevalso ordered the meatloaf that had to be microwaved to hear it up.. Horrible service, slow, not friendly. Skip this place. You have been warned!

Not the #1 BBQ place in Nevada

By Vanessa Y |

This place was ok. The ribs we got had no meat on them! The brisket was good! I do not know how this is the #1 BBQ place in Nevada! The lady employee was kinda rude too! I just asked her if one of the salad dressings were like Italian and she said in a bad tone this is all I have do you want one or not? Not impressed

Pawn Stars with Sauce

By Carfull |

I expected mediocre, a cash-in on the Pawn Stars empire, with a name and not much else. However, the food was tasty and authentic BBQ, with generous helping. I thought the prices were typical Vegas high, but below the gouging level sometimes seen. The entire visit was pleasant, but I cannot get onboard with the "best ever" comments in some of the reviews. Nice enough, though, and with a very friendly and helpful counter staff. The brisket was super, the pork very good, and the chicken dry. The side dishes were good, also, as was the cornbread.

Incredible Bbq

By Federico B |

Crazy and huge bbq, american style and size!! Better to share one portion! Good flavour and meat. Is funny to try this bbq before to visit Pawn of Stars, is the same owner just in front.

Screwed up my order - but in my favor - and damn it was good!

By Xeroeso |

I'm from the midwest and I love my BBQ. This place was excellent and can compete with anything made in Texas or Missouri (let's be honest, Memphis/Carolina isn't real BBQ) I believe I got someone else's order. I did NOT order this much food! Beef ribs? Didn't order them. But I got them. And WOW I was impressed!!! Burnt ends? As good as anything in KC. Full of flavor. Rich in taste. My loaded baked potato was to die for. PLUS I had not idea it was Rick from Pawn Stars. I didn't have time to visit the shop next door, but when I come back to Vegas I will be BACK!!

Can be done

By Travel ‘n Food |

Price-performance ratio is definitely not right! It's good but that's it! The meat wasn't anything special, neither extremely smoky nor super juicy. More of a hobby smoker... you can easily do better yourself. The mac'n cheese was world class

A bit expensive, but the quality is there

By simiseeu |

I don't know, maybe $20 for a sammy, side, and drink is actually a fair price. Especially when the quality is really good. So maybe I'm judging the cost a bit too harshly. I ordered the burnt ends sammy, the wife went with the chopped brisket. Both were outstanding in flavor and texture. Personally, I'd prefer if they served mine without any sauce, as I always like to taste the smoke and besides, they carry a large variety of BBQ sauces that you can add if needed. The side I had was their smoked mac-n-cheese. Very smoky and a decent touch of spice level to boot. All in all a pretty good experience and I give it a thumbs up.

Great Bar

By ayrfoodie |

Visited here late afternoon. The bar tender was really friendly and recommended beers to try. Customers were also very welcoming. Nice laid back atmosphere.

Flavour-town baby!!

By foodie370 |

Very minimalistic set up. Some pretty cool guys behind the counter who are happy to recommend. Myself and my partner decided to split the brisket burnt end sandwich with a side of pork rinds. What a mistake this was!!! The half sandwich each just left us wanting more! I’m not saying this because there was so little sandwich, no no. I am saying this because the brisket burnt end sandwich was just that delicious! I would 100% recommend not splitting this sandwich with someone because it is too damn good to share. If your ever near it, definitely check it out !

Awesome night

By RMiddleton |

What a great night we had, the ribs were fantastic, as was the burnt end brisket. Great choice of beers. Fantastic friendly service. Small bar area but good. Would highly recommend this restaurant if you are in Vegas, not the overpriced rubbish you get at the other end of town. 99.9% would have been 100% if Rick was working the bar that Friday night. Well done guys, great job

great bbq

By crystalh2011 |

I have only visited twice but both times everything I had was delicious. I would recommend and go back again, great BBQ!

Good Southern BBQ In Vegas

By DNDM Media |

We took a trip to the pawn shop, and then headed over to Rick's when we were done. It was early afternoon, and there were only about 5 people in the bar, which was perfect, as we had been wanting a quite place to hang out for a change. Duff the manager, was behind the bar and was very friendly and a really cool guy to talk to. We talked about his background, the food, the pawn shop, the tv show, and he was super nice the whole time. I asked if Rick actually bar tends from time to time, and he said that he was actually going to be in later on that night. So we ate, and then headed to Freemont Street for a while. When we got back, Rick was there and a larger crowd had come in, but we still got seats at the bar. After a little bit, Rick came around and was just chatting with everybody sitting around, and as long as you didn't act like a fool, he was totally fine with you. I had asked if we could get a picture before the crowd showed up, and he said that he always takes pictures at one time before he leaves. Which I totally understood, as it would have started non-stop pictures the whole time that he was there. As the night (and drinks) went on, everybody was singing to the music and having a great time. Rick ended up taking a fair amount of time and chatting with us throughout the night, which was pretty cool. He is a very knowledgeable guy that we really enjoyed talking to. The main thing to keep in mind if you happen to be there when he is, just treat him like a normal guy, talk about normal stuff, don't act like you know him (because you don't), and you'll have a great time.

It should be illegal

By Lisa R |

We visited the location on Grand Canyon in Summerlin. We were looking for something different for Mothers Day dinner. The restaurant was small, but no problem seating our family of 8. We ordered an $80 sampler platter. As my 6yr old grandson said, MEAT! We added a half rack of ribs, but there was plenty of food without it. Chicken, brisket, sausage, pulled pork all delicious. There were tons of sauces for everyone's taste. It was served with a choice of 4 sides. We chose bacon mac and cheese, string beans, fries and I don't remember the other one. There were also rolls. We all ate until we could barely move and still took food home. Everything was to die for! Service was quick and friendly. I want to go back for lunch tomorrow!

Unbelievable experience.

By Mac B |

WARNING. Came in after hearing great reviews and had one of the worst customer service experiences outside of one cook who had to fix everything. Came in with 2 coworkers and also met with 2 other fitness, 5 total. You are not served at this establishment, it's almost school diner style. Grab your food at counter and checkout. Food was delicious but it better be after charging you $35-$40 a meal. But my biggest shock is after paying for 3 meals, my total came out to $157! Checked receipt and a 20% "group party" charge was added. Not advertised anywhere or told to us before charging. What a cheap money grab. I paid for 3 people, no service/waiter, one of the craziest restaurant charges I've ever seen. Having being in the food industry and knowing this is a cheap way to try and make more money, I disputed it. I guess if our other friends had just walked in 5 minutes later we wouldn't have been charged the group rate. The best part it, the cashier just kept repeating "it's apart of our policy", decided to go upstairs and get a bartender to try and intimidate me. The bartender with a knife on his hip comes downstairs and starts repeating the same thing and when I ask to speak to a manger he points right in my face and said he will not call a manager sternly. Wow, wonderful experience. Thankfully a kitchen worker who also agreed it was BS took matters into his own hands and called the manager and got us a refund and free food. The kitchen worker is the only saving grace but I will never, ever, go back to this place and urge nobody to give them business. I'm not usually a review guy, but this was the craziest experience I've ever had at any business. Ever.

Great BBQ

By TeamEarth |

Ate in the bar because we wanted to see Rick tend bar. He showed up and stayed busy the whole time we were there. The BBQ was great. The bar was small and filled up fast. They had the garage door open to the balcony and Vegas had a wind chill of 28 degrees that night. It got cold sitting there and it was hard to get the only waitress attention because she had to many people to wait on by herself. So we left as soon as we finished eating. We loved the food and will definitely go back the next time we visit Vegas but we'll definitely eat downstairs in the restaurant.

Delicious BBQ

By Ben J |

Want to taste delicious BBQ? If yes then, Rick's Rollin Smoke BBQ and Tavern is the hotel in Las Vegas that is highly rated for its spicy and yummy taste, no one can deny for its foods. It is not just excellent with respect to its hot BBQ, but also for its Cocktail, rice, sauces, and sandwiches, it is being offered the romantic, clean, and tidy environment to its customers so that they feel great every inch. Customer's service is also at its peak it offers very friendly abode and considered as the best place for tasty HALAL foods in Las Vegas as well.

Mmmm smoked pig butts. ....

By gom906 |

A must as it was lunchtime and I was visiting the the Pawn Shop. Not a big place and quite sparse inside but you're there to eat not enjoy the decor. Young server was very friendly and the smoked brisket with Chipotle coleslaw and super hot sauce was, to me, delicious but beware of that sauce, it's really, really hot....

Pretty Good Barbecue

By rockyjoe |

Rick's Rollin Smoke BBQ & Tavern is a small BBQ restaurant and is located next to the Gold and Silver Pawn Shop (home of the Pawn Stars TV show). This restaurant shares a parking lot with the pawn shop (a couple of us walked over there and toured the shop after diner). This restaurant is part of a small, 3 location chain and all locations are in Las Vegas. This place is owned (or partially owned) by TV star Rick Harrison of Pawn Stars. We were told that Rick tends bar here about once a week, but we did not see him. I dined here on a Tuesday evening in mid-October with a few friends and thought the Barbeque was pretty good. I had the beef brisket and the BBQ chicken and thought they were both tasty. Not the best barbeque I have ever had but it was pretty good. I also had the cheesy mac and cheese and really enjoyed it. They had a pretty good selection of tap beers and I had a couple of those with my meal. All the employees were very friendly and helpful which made the experience even better. Overall, I enjoyed dining at Rick's Rollin Smoke BBQ & Tavern and recommend it if you are in Vegas and are in the mood for some pretty good barbeque. I would eat here again on a future trip.

Hey Rick, hope you are reading your reviews. Your staff is driving customers away.

By Geo G |

Thursday, March 13, while waiting for our out of town visitors getting a tattoo across the street, my wife and I went to Rick's Tavern to get a beer. We had dinner reservations, so we did not want to eat. The place smelled good and the staff very friendly. Friday the 14th, our visitors left town and we decided to go get some BBQ. We got to the tavern at around 2PM. Sat at a small table. After waiting for 5-6 minutes and being totally ignored, I got up and grabbed a food and drink menu off the bar. We decided what to order and waited....as we had been told the day before, someone will come take the order. While waiting, 3 people came in and sat at the bar. Immediately, the lady behind the bar went to get their drink order, made the drinks and proceeded to take their food order. The man behind the counter was busy counting money and checking stuff. Thinking I had to place the order at the bar, I walked up and stood there waiting to be acknowledged. As I stood there, the lady said she had to go get ice and left, the man still doing whatever. We were not acknowledged at all. We walked out the door. Another customer told us service was not very good, we were probably better off leaving.

To do

The place is very small, the table is in the middle sticky, but the staff is friendly, the food good although the presentation leaves a bit to be desired, great prices

Great Smoked Barbeque

By dwsiler |

This place is located right next door to the Pawn Stars Pawn Shop and is also owned by Richard (Rick) Harrison. His family being originally from Lexington, NC He Knows the Famous Lexington Barbecue well. I had a huge Barbecue sandwich and it was absolutely wonderful. My friend had the Barbecue salad which was great and more than he could eat. The place is a little on the pricey side (Soda was $4 and a extra dollar for a plastic Souvenir cup) Upstairs is a friendly tavern for those wanting Adult beverages. . I strongly recommend taking the ride to enjoy Great food. .

Meh

By txschic72 |

Well…it just wasn’t that great. It was definitely underwhelming. It smelled so good. The brisket had no smoke flavor at all & was somewhat dry. The potato salad was odd with (yes I’m gonna say it) too much bacon. One of us in the party did the “all you can eat”. The server was discouraging him from doing it. The ribs were dry with little smoke flavor. He did say the smoked chicken was delicious. Being from Texas, this just didn’t stack up. We should know better than to eat BBQ outside our state.

Gem of a restaurant

By Steve C |

Stopped in after visiting the Gold and Silver Pawn shop I went upstairs where there is a balcony and also a patio area. The bar has TV's above showing sport There's a good selection of beers all served in special cups(ask nicely and you can keep it) The menu is great although it was difficult to decide to what to have. I chose the burnt end brisket sandwich and it was lovely It was fairly quiet when I was there but the bartenders were great chatting with everyone

Great food

By BCPC |

My wife and I went here after visiting the pawn shop. I was pleasantly surprised that the parking was free and easy. A friendly parking attendant waives you in and you're all set. The guy taking the orders was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about his job; providing recommendations, etc. The cashier was also very pleasant and seemed to genuinely enjoy her job. The food was a little more expensive than what I'm used to spending on lunch, but not bad overall given the location of the restaurant; about $20 per person (outside of alcohol, which we did not partake of). I'm not someone that has a lot of bbq expertise, but I was blown away at how good the food was. The flavors were just amazing, and they have huge bottles of different sauces that you can fill up cups and take back to your seat. I could have drank a gallon of this vinegar sauce they had. My drink came in a commemorative reusable cup that we took home. The place wasn't very crowded, and the interior was cool and comfortable, with a direct view across the parking lot of the pawn shop. The bar is upstairs. There's an elevator or stairs to get up there and they have misting fans out on the seating deck. We were there about noon so there wasn't many people up there drinking. We were told that Rick was bartending the previous night and is frequently there, but he was not there on this occasion. I found the whole place to be very easy and accessible, very hassle-free and food that can't be beat. I will definitely go back here the next time I'm in Las Vegas.

Awesome food and great drinks

By Alex_19751 |

They serve some awesome smoked barbeque food, loaded mash, pulled pork beans the full works. It's located just by Gold and Silver pawn shop. Pop upstairs once you have had your food and visit the fab bar, they serve some great cocktails at reasonable price in a nice relaxed atmosphere where you can watch sports on the TVs or just sit and have a nice cold beer. If you like a Bloody Mary they serve possibly the best in Vegas. I will visit here again and recommend it to friends and family

Had To Stop

By Kenneth W |

Most readers realize that this eatery is part of the Pawn Stars empire, so when you are there, you must try the food. I am not a big fan of southern smoked meats, and it was lunch time when I normally eat very light, so I tried the special of the day, a sausage that contained some bison. It was very well-done, which is how I like my meat; it was savoury and had a real zing in the last bite. Unfortunately, this was not one of the days when Rick was visiting.

Really good food at a great price!

By CCluv2roam |

My husband and I ate hear after visiting the pawn shop next door. The food was really good. Huge plates at a really good price compared to the food on the strip. I would definitely recommend if your visiting the area.

Terrible food

By Rodney W |

Heard so much hype about this place, so my wife and stopped in and tried the BBQ ribs. They were not that good at all. Heard other rumors that Rick was winning awards for his BBQ food but we believe that he must have paid someone to get the award. The place was also messy

Fabulous place and experience!

By Emma K |

My husband and I visited on 17th February 2025 for some drinks. We live in Kent in the UK and I had wanted to visit the famous gold and silver pawn shop and bar. What can I say….amazing experience. Super friendly bar staff, thank you to Mark and John who absolutely made our experience a memory not to be forgotten. A huge selection of drinks to choose from. John made the best baby Guinness, it was his first time making them and they didn’t sink (10/10 from me) Thank you guys so much for having us. When we come back to Vegas we will definitely be visiting you again. Oh, and here’s a picture of the cups my husband bought back home five years ago, after the last time he visited you. They have definitely lasted, 💯 for sustainability (well done Rick) Take care Emma & Aaron

Good BBQ Brisket and Pulled Pork Sandwiches

By Bill B |

This place is across the parking lot from the Pawn Stars shop. Not much for appearances but when you open the door you get the smoke BBQ smell pouring out. The menus are clear and the service is quick and friendly. We both got spicy BBQ sauce and it was absolutely delicious on well prepared meats. The buns we both skipped. The slaw and the potato salad for sides are both delicious. They put bacon and onion garnish on the potato salad which made it even better. Reasonably priced at $40 for both sandwich plates including a drink.

An evening with Rick!

By charl0ttenathan |

We visited the bar after seeing that Rick would be there bartending. When we arrived the atmosphere was lively and there was plenty of places to sit. We had a few round of drinks including some of the cocktails which tasted great with plenty of spirits in them. It was ladies night which meant they were half price too! Antwaun was on the mic most of the night and kept everyone entertained. The food coming out looked and smelt great, maybe we'l give it a try on our next trip to Vegas.

Great BBQ

By JandRbales |

The bbq is awesome!! We got the “bbq pulled pork sandwiches”, & “loaded mashed potatoes”. It was delicious!! Our sandwiches were loaded down with meat; “delicious”and our potatoes were “fabulous”!! They put crumbled bacon, cheddar cheese and chives, on top of, the mashed potatoes & they are “potato heaven”!! Service was excellent and the prices are reasonable! We are recommending this restaurant to our family and friends & plan to visit again soon!!

Great Ribs

By Steve D |

We visited the pawn shop and Ricks bar while on holiday from UK. The pawn shop is with a visit as is the bar and restaurant. After a long day in the heat, some cold beer and ribs was what we wanted and needed, and we weren’t disappointed. The menu is good and has enough choice to make you hungry. We went for the St Louis ribs and pulled pork, and it was excellent. The girl at the bar was very friendly and helpful and she made us feel very welcome. Would recommend it.

Great little bar for our wedding celebration

By thegoose768 |

We are all visiting from the uk as my son was getting married at the Graceland chapel nearby. They went for pictures so we visited this bar to wait. The two ladies behind the bar were amazing. They set up an area for 18 of us to sit and a regular kindly moved to accommodate us. We all ended up staying and had a fabulous night. The two ladies did their best to ensure we had a brilliant night. I have no idea who Rick is. He turned up and made a massive entrance. Still no idea. The bar however is what I imagine an American bar to be. The people were fab and we had a great night, so a massive thanks to those two members of staff for an amazing night. We had beer, cocktails and food it was all really good. A great little Place on north Las Vegas Blvd

Prawn Stars

By Fred Wicks |

We went down to see the World Famous Pawn Shop & afterwards popped in to the bar next door after seeing the sign that it was owned By Rick Harrison from Pawn Stars. It was friday night and Rick was Tending Bar. It's a small place probably holds 30-40 ppl. The parking lot is shared by the entire plaza and parking is very limited during the pawn shops busy hours. The food is mainly bbq, it was served hot and was tasty, i loved the Turkey wings...HUGE!! The sides were great too!! Rick told us the history of the Corkscrew clock on the wall consisting of ancient cork screws purchased by the pawn shop and made into a clock. Interesting piece valued at $2000.00. (He also said the purchase/build of the clock is being featured on a upcoming Pawn Stars episode. The Meal was typical tourist pricing with a bit of Gouge but considering it was "A Experience " getting to not only tour the pawnshop but to have drinks and dinner served by Rick while he entertains you with a story or two.....PRICELESS!!!

WOW! You have to eat here.

By Douglas R |

This is better than I expected. The burnt ends sliders were the best and the coleslaw was a treat, with the bacon potato salad is tasty. The bartender server Mark was incredible. Rick, keep this guy he is a great asset to your business. We will come back as often as we can. Absolutely wonderful. Do not miss this place to eat.

Great BBQ

We stopped in after we learned Rick Harrison had a BBQ restaurant from a VIP tour of the Pawn Shop. We went to stairs to the tavern and learned that Rick was bartending. The food was delicious and service was fast. Would highly recommend.

BEST BBQ - Best Side Dishes and Great Staff !

By bestsales123 |

I have worked in Las Vegas for just two weeks and have eaten at two BBQ restaurants. This one by far is the better of the two (see my review of the other establishment). They are friendly, upbeat and willing to cater to your needs. I am particular as most are about BBQ and the quality of the meat and side menu. This establishment is the BEST and worth stopping as well as keep coming back.

Gave me food poisoning ! Stay away

By jasonhubble |

Had lunch here with friends, I had a combo meal, friends had chicken and one had ribs. Mine consisted of pulled pork, burnt ends and a sausage which was ok, the pulled pork was great. Later that evening when boarding a plane home all hell broke loose with violent sickness and diarrhoea consistent with food poisoning. The only other thing I had eaten that day was a bagel for breakfast and this episode was approx 8hrs after eating this food. After 3hrs of being ill on a plane I was able to sleep and woke up feeling better. So I would avoid this place !

Yummy BBQ!

By Melanie N |

Wow! Very impressed. A friend and I ate lunch here and it was great. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with a side of bacon potato salad and it was so good. The service was great and the place was clean. The saying on the staff shirts was hilarious and I loved the Rick caricature as the restaurant’s logo. Rick’s Rollin Smoke BBQ is located in Pawn Plaza next to their Gold and Silver Pawnshop.

Best Arkansas BBQ west of the Texas!

By Andrew G |

On a recent trip to Vegas my cousin and I got the late night hunger pains and Yelp'd this place. Boy! were we pleasantly surprised and filled all at the same time! This place has the greatest portion sizes and tastiest barbeque we have ever encountered in this city with a plethora of buffets and commercial smorgasbords! The barbeque was so good here that had to return the very next day to satisfy our cravings! There are several locations around Vegas but we went to the downtown venue both times as we did not want to take a chance on missing what had now turned into an addiction for BBQ on a level never anticipated. The portions sizes are very good as I tried to get thru their 3 entree selections and ended up taking some back to our hotel. The 2 entree selection with your option to pick a side was plenty filling for both of us as we each picked that selection when ordering and left plenty full and I think even with more $$ in our pockets than if we had attempted to eat at a late night all-you-can-eat buffet. You can guarantee that the food here is cooked piping hot and made to order! Very tasty!

Great little bar

Great beer and atmosphere. Paige behind the bar made sure our glasses were never empty. The regulars there also made us feel very welcome. We will return!

Good food nice restaurant bar

This place is good the Mac and cheese can we talk about the sweet delicious cornbread so good the cole slaw was not great I had the $35 sampler platter I guess I didn’t read that the brisket was chopped c’mon boys who wants chopped brisket unless it’s a sandwich it was good but I was hoping for slices I’m still stuffed from lunch it’s 12:15 am lol the sweet tea was great so one of the best bbq spots I’m a little picky too so you know this is a real review I’ve been too so far highly recommend

Came in direct from the Pawn Shop with over $75 worth of souveniors at 8p as Rick was bartending from 8-10p. Got a table, and my husband went up to grab a drink hoping Rick would wait on him but Rick walked away and no one else came over either. . Saw Rick head outside, so we went out to see if he was taking pics with fans, but was told not until 10 PM but he'd sign 'swag'. So my hubby went up star struck to have him sign a $10 item w/ Rick's face on it. Rick's bodyguard took it, Rick signed and didn't even look back - HEARTBREAKING to watch my husband's face but stuck it out. Went up and got someone to take our order, saw Rick take a picture w/3 big chested girls at 830p .. who didnt buy anything like we had. Shortly after, its announced Rick left due to family emergency. Hope all was ok, but not cool that we spent that kind of $ and weren't respected as fans. Had we not already ordered and the Pawn Shop not been closed, we'd of walked out and returned the merchandise too. Bartenders Dunn and Mark are the real stars of the bar/ Desiree downstairs too - food was good. Rick, remember it was the fans who play a big part in your success, acknowledge them when you sign something for them... even a little eye contact and a nod would have a different ending to this review.

1st time Vegas

Stubbled across this BBQ joint and ended up eating here twice during our vacation. One of the best bbq places I've been to. I would highly recommend the potato salad for your side. Staff was friendly and helpful. Restaurant was extremely clean.

worth the stop

The wife and I popped in for dinner. Which surprised me because my wife doesn't like barbecue. I asked for the rib platter, but was given a pit platter instead. It was absolutely amazing! My wife enjoyed the dirty rice, mac and cheese and collard greens. She adored the chicken! I didnt get to try that, but can give my personal stamp on the hot link, ribs and brisket. I wasn't super disappointed because I got my ribs and then some! The guys working there are extra hospitable and generous with the portions! If you're hungry and in the area, it is worth dropping by!

Rick Rocks!

Actually just went to visit the Gold and Silver Pawn Shop from Pawn Stars and heard Rick would be bartending around the corner. Rick showed up right at 8 and the rest of the night was history! Great DJ and Rick served us multiple drinks while singing along to his favorite songs. Really personable guy and the bar had a great atmosphere. Thank you!

I had the runs for 2 days !

After the pawnshop, we tried Ricks BBQ place. The whole mall looked like run down and forgotten experiment. I tried the ribs. All the food was expensive. The ribs were very average, and the sides tasteless. Afterwards I had the runs for 2 days. Having spent 2 weeks in Mexico, eating street food without problems, I have a pretty tolerant stomach. Sorry Rick, I won't be back, or would recommend.

Dinner

Great pulled chicken sandwich, brisket, smoked mac & cheese, corn bread, and loaded mashed potatoes. My husband loved the Craft Haus IPA and I loved their Classic Bloody Mary. The bar tenders are very friendly and attentive. Michael rocks!

Very good food. Quick bite after a long day of bus rides hopping on and off. Staff are very friendly. Location is right next to their famous Pawnstar :)

A group (of 14) of us had dinner here for my brothers 50th. We’d traveled from NZ, Scotland and Canada for the celebrations. Everyone loved the meal here. Was a great choice The food is great, nice cocktails and service was exceptional. The waitress did a great job with our group and my brother was left feeling very happy! The nachos were the best I’ve ever tasted and I had them for starter and main! Walking distance to Fremont St.. a great spot for a fun meal. Thanks for the hospitality

Evening Snack

We were on our way to Fremont St - Old Las Vegas to hangout for the evening. Ealier that day we had meet a lady who had recommended Rick's. I had the Rib/Brisket Combo. The meal was good and staff were were pleasant and cost was reasonable. Would recommend for a quick informal meal Andy J

Wonderful BBQ and Cocktails - A definite must visit dining experience.

Great BBQ and Cocktails! In Summer of 2022, we found Rick's from a YouTube video and decided to see for ourselves if the hype was true. It was! Since then, we have been to the restaurant 3 times, and make it a destination every time we're in Las Vegas. You can order from the counter downstairs, or go upstairs to the bar and have some food and drinks. The BBQ is really tasty, The Brisket, Hotlink and St Louis Ribs were very well done, and the smoked beans were full of meat. The sauces were really unique and made an already great meal even better. The cocktails were also wonderful. The Hawaiian BBQ cocktail was the perfect Tropical Island drink, however the Old Man was probably one of the best Old Fashioned cocktails I've had. Great restaurant and worthwhile trip from the strip or downtown.

Best Casual BBQ in Vegas

What great value BBQ. Opposite the Pawn shop this relaxed setting has everything you need. We ordered the pit special which had 5 meats and a few sides. What a great selection for a few people to try.

Horrible BBQ Greasy!!! Icky

By TravelThis80 |

Expectations were huge, I really wanted to have a wonderful night. Menu looked good, lots of variety. I waited an hour for someone to take my order. A large food tour was at the restaurant and the group was a priority for the restaurant. I watched the NOT FUNNY stand up show while waiting...racists material doesn’t make someone funny. But then my hot Brisket arrived. The meat was greasy, no taste, the meat rub was nothing special. I ordered food to go, for my husband, before I tasted what I ordered = HUGE mistake. Poor quality. Greasy greasy greasy food = it’s not that hard to make decent BBQ when quality meat is bought. Sad I spent so much money. I wanted the night to be better.

Quick service, good food, good prices

Stopped for lunch after visiting the Gold and Silver Pawn Shop (from Pawn Stars). I had a baked sweet potato, which was very large. My husband had a pork bbq salad, which was huge. Service was fast, servers were friendly. Food was very good. Would return when in the area again.

A nice place to stop

By Jim F |

This was a nice place to stop and get away from the lights and noise. They have a large outside patio on the second floor that’s heated overlooking Las Vegas boulevard. There was too many choices of craft brews to pick from. The food smelled real good but we didn’t try any.

Really worth visiting

Great atmosphere and made to feel welcome and treated like a local. Rick had time for everyone and we all had a good drink . Pleased I visited his tavern with a great choice of music being played by the DJ . Prices were very reasonable for food and drink .

Surprisingly delicious!

We stopped after visiting the Pawn Shop. We were hungry, thirsty, and long over due for lunch. We headed upstairs to check out what they had to offer. I had their Mama's burnt end sliders. I admit their BBQ was very good, but the most surprising aspect of the meal was the bacon potato salad. I could have eaten an entire tub of this stuff. They have a decent selection of beers on tap. We're locals who will return just for the potato salad. (one of few places that offer discounts to Locals-Thank you Rick!) If you are into Karaoke, the bartender told us Wednesday nights are Karaoke night. Prices in my opinion are decent considering the location.

Go to the other Rollin Smoke Take away instead.

We arrived Downstairs in the restaurant at about 7pm. 10th Sept 2024 The food was acceptable, not fantastic as we had before at the restaurant off the Strip. However the side of Mac n Cheese was the last one in the tin, pretty dry and for the price should not have been served. Overall it was a solid 3.5 stars for me and 4 stars for my Son. The big BUT comes from our visit to the Bar upstairs. Well Rick as we say in the UK your foot is not on the ball. The "server", a phrase used loosely, no name but covered in tattoos should identify him, was vulgar, rude, stoned, not aware of any of the beers available and giving away drinks to his friend. Plus was highly objectional when we and a couple more customers did not give him a "good" tip. We left just a a four or five piece band was setting up. Why does a very small bar need a live band ?? Overall go to Rollin Smoke's other unit, we have been there three times and although a bit basic the food was a masterpiece. Lastly Rick get a grip or close it, its not good PR for you.

Great food & Great service

We had a fantastic time here - me and wife came in at 11 for a drink bite to eat in the upstairs bar for a break from looking at murals around the art district. The guy working the bar was really friendly and gave great service and we enjoyed a good chat with him. We ended up staying for two and half hours enjoying a few drinks and some absolutely fantastic bbq food. We had a sharing platter and it was perfect to try a bit of everything. Fantastic place and food value for money. Would 100% come here again

Who knew Rick knew Bar-B-Que?

By EastRidgeVince |

Who knew Rick knew Bar-B-Que? Well let me tell you, he does! We liked it so well, we went twice. The first time, I got brisket and it was some of the best I ever had! The second time I got ribs and Oh my Lawd, they were awesome and I know ribs! Trust me, this is the place, it is well worth it, even if you may have to run into Rick. Just kidding, some of the best BBQ I’ve had.
