We walked down a couple of blocks from the Element where we were staying - it was well worth it. Never had Yucca as a side before - delish!

If you are near Miami International airport and are looking for delicious Cuban food, this is the place. The restaurant is no frills, but the food is great. The restaurant is clean and the staff works to accommodate you.

I really liked this place- I wish I spoke Spanish so the waitresses could understand me better and vice versa, but the food was great and the prices were even better!! You will love the music they have playing too, probably!

We secured Uber @ the Sheraton and the trip is about three minutes. The venue is very casual. We sat outside, watched the servers and the customers. Our server helped us with our order and the food was A+ and very inexpensive. The server wanted to please us and recommended a change that she thought would please us. Bottom line; they wanted us to enjoy our dinner. Secured Uber back to the hotel. Highly recommend if you desire casual eating and good Cuban food.

From the wonderful service by Marvelous to the warm and open welcoming from Barbara this place was superb. The food is tasty and plentiful for the price. It will be a must go to every time I am in Miami

We were staying at an airport hotel and googled "best Cuban restaurant" near us. This bar restaurant is located on an industrial area close to the car parks and a 3 minute uber away from the airport. We read some reviews which said that the food was great but they did not speak a lot of English. In fact there were lots of waitresses who spoke great English and the menu was translated. All the customers were Spanish and the waitresses were extremely kind. There was a floor show with two singer dancers which was very authentic but a little bit loud. The good and ambiance was just great. I had the grilled liver with black beans and plantain and my wife had the fried chicken. Both dishes were wonderful and the service was great...I think they really appreciated a middle aged English/ Canadian couple taking the opportunity to check them out. We were so pleased that we did check them out.....our pocket book was even more pleased. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone staying in a hotel near the airport who wants an authentic Cuban experience and great good.

Food was excellent and staff very friendly. There is a wide selection of Cuban food. You can eat inside or outside.

The food was ok. The Service was very bad. The menu doesn't the prices. We were charge with something else. They got the order wrong

The food was delicious and the service was great. The restaurant was recommended by our hotel driver. I would definitely come back if I was in the area.

We ate here while staying in a nearby airport hotel enroute to The Keys. It was within walking distance and menu looked good. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Ordered skirt steak at waitress’ recommendation (excellent) and kids got sirloin steaks (also pretty good). Split a Cuban sandwich (just okay) and empanadas (beef better than chicken). Plantains, rice and beans were very good. Sangria tasted like mostly juice but still tasty. Reasonable prices and overall very good experience.

Very authentic Cuban Restaurant just one block away from the Holiday Inn Express Miami Airport. Great Food, Cold Beer and friendly service. I always look forward to going to Rincon Criollo whenever we fly out of MIA. The daily special is always great, the sides are delicious, especially the Yucca, the desserts are very good and there is always a lot going on here to keep you entertained. You can sit inside or outside on the patio, but the music is loud outside. The prices are very reasonable and the great staff takes really good care of you. A must visit place when in the area.

Off a busy main road however the restaurant is usually busy and the food is very authentic and portions are priced well

I stop by Rincon Criollo about once a month being an Uber Driver and I enjoy the food on each visit, except I never was even served tonight. As I waited at my table for nearly 20 minutes without a single "Hello, my I help you?"...... In a real sense I Am not surprised, because each visit I make I struggle to get service in a timely manner and it appears as if I am Not welcomed at Rincon Criollo. Tonight I could no longer take the poor service without commenting and this was definitely my last visit to Rincon Criollo! I do not and will not recommend a visit to this "El lugar del un mal servicio".

I business associate and I were on business in Miami and were hungry. We ordered Cuban sandwiches and the problem was solved! They were great, with traditional bread and prepared to perfection! Will definitely be back!

Delivered quickly to a nearby hotel. Cuban sandwiches were great! A little difficult understanding a phone order but worked out ok.

It's not much to look at, but we had an outstanding meal. Both the Shrimp Creole and Scampi were delicious and the mix rice was the best I've had. The BLT was good, too, though clearly not Cuban!

very exclusif closed to miami airport , very affordable cuban restaurant with beer and daily specials , excellent team ( very welcoming waitresses ). price is reasonable and food is good este restaurant es lo maximo , comida sencilla y excellente , precio bueno . excelente servicio

Just hopped in here between planes. I love Cuban cuisine and this was fantastic. I love Cuban coffee and a "colada" really picked me up from a very early morning flight. Try the "ropa vieja" (literally "old clothes"). Cuban sandwiches are great and I hate you can't find a good one in most parts of the US.

Used Uber eat to order food here, but the time it took was over 45 minutes. When we got our food, it was warmish / cold. Strongly suggest you eat take a uber / lyft and go there to eat instead of delivery services. Food was meh, not to our taste.

We were staying at the Embassy Suites and wanted some food made local and found this on Trip Advisor. So we’re ventured over Rincon Criollo a short 4 minute drive or I’m guessing maybe a 15 minute walk. Betty, our server, was a delight. She used her phone to help translate the menu or pointed to pictures on the wall to show us what was offered. We both had the Cuban sandwich that we should have split due to the size. It was good especially the bread. For dessert we both had a Flan, she had the Coconut and me the Carmel. Again, both had great flavor. Breakfast looked especially great and Betty said they are very busy ten. The close early on Sunday 5 pm. and 8 pm the rest of the week.

Best authentic Cuban food for the money. Friendly staff and owner. Best cafe con leche around. Breakfast, lunch or dinner. You can't go wrong.

This was a great find. Walked off the MIA and stumbled into this cute and friendly restaurant. Authentic and inexpensive.

Not wanting to spend what the hotel restaurant was asking for a dinner (after having been in Haiti for a week), we discovered Rincon Criollo within walking distance and went for it. A scantilly clad dancer was in the outside "bar" area, with playful and happy Cuban music blaring from the DJ. We stepped inside to find just a couple of tables filled among the many, which seemed strange for a Friday night, but we went for it. The waitress didn't speak English, so she immediately emerged with one who could talk to us in English, which we appreciated much. We all ordered the Skirt Steak, with various options. Everything was really tasty, though the steak was a bit stringy. We received lots of good food for the price for sure! Wouldn't take younger kids here on a Friday PM, but its definitely a good stop for good Cuban fare.

Great food and sangria. Good native Cuban music and good service. I would come back. So excited we found it. Close to airport of Miami. The menu was a bit confusing but waitress was good at interpreting and helping us pick the right choices. Sangria by the pitcher High five

Not a far walk from the Element hotel Miami Airport. Service is good. An older place but clean. Menu had a virity of foods. I had the burger and was good. Outside dining.

We got the steak and eggs for breakfast. Very reasonable price, food tasted so good and server was friendly and helpful. Potatos were thin fries like McDonald's which was different than the usual hashbrowns. The coffee was strong with milk and sugar which is how the Cubans drink it. Will go again.

Staying at an airport hotel sometimes limits your options to eat. But this time I was super lucky to be nearby this Authentic Cuban Cafe. I got Breaded Pork Chops with ham and cheese, fried platan, black beans and fried sweet bananas. Everything tasted so good and when the check came it was an pleasent surprise. I really recommend it

I had a craving for a Cuban sandwich and Rincon Criollo fit the bill perfectly. They have a really nice outdoor bar. And I was able to make an order and enjoy a cold one while I waited. It wouldn't hurt to be a little familiar with Spanish. But a Cubano and a beer will run you about $12. And the sandwich is spot on delicious. It is easy to get to from the hotel circle area near MIA.

Massie our server is the greatest. Best food in Miami. Delicious food and the cheese flan is great! If here you must visit this place.

It was nice little corner Industrial area. Parking was ok . Staff were very pleasant. Average place for quick play to eat close to Holiday Inn east

We were there last night and apart from having a great meal we were attended by a very friendly waitress. You could see that everyine working there seemed to get on well with each other and there really was "buen rollo". The other surprise was the dancing and singing girls in the outdoor show. What more could you ask for? Just unfortunate it`s not advertised in the nearby Holiday Express Inn

I spend a fair amount of time in the Caribbean and i love fried pork chunks. I was staying down the street and this was the only walkable restaurant. When i got there the outside portion was packed so i went inside since my spanish would not have passed muster in the noisy crowd. Inside was empty. very friendly waitress who spoke fine English, when she wasn't speaking spanish to everyone else. I'm used to that. LOL Fried pork pieces/chunks were on the menu. They were cooked perfectly. Mixed beans and rice were spiced just how i like them, as were the bananas. Flan was a disappointment. Hateuy (sp?) a beer originally brewed by Bacardi in Cuba is on the menu. You should try one if you're a beer hound. This is made in the USA. My favorite part is the check. I finally found a restaurant that puts the suggested gratuity in before adding the tax and makes it obvious. Yes I'm good at math and this drives me crazy. BTW airport restaurants do it in a deceptive manner. I'm going back for lunch today

We wanted to try a local Cuban restaurant near our hotel and decided to give Rincon Criollo a try and it did not disappoint. There is nothing fancy about this place but if you are looking for Cuban food that is authentic, in an authentic environment this is the place to go. Food was delicious, service was fantastic- they were helpful and fun, and prices were very reasonable. They happily accommodated our group of 9 and we would go back next time we find ourselves in Miami!

Discovered this place when in town a couple of years ago. The food is excellent and very inexpensive. Thought we would try it out again and it did not disappoint. Close to the airport.

We found this place while staying at a close by hotel. It was the only restaurant in Miami that we went to three times! It's reliable, open both early and late, service was relatively quick. The food is good, very well priced and visited by a lot of Uber drivers who likely know where to find the best food.

Went for lunch on the way to return a car to rental agency. Wanted some real Cuban flavors, got a cold ham & cheese sandwitch after a 20+ min wait (ordered a Cuban sandwitch and the restaurant had only few customers).

I needed a quick takeout order so I walked in and ordered a Cuban sandwich, cheese sandwich and midnight sandwich, with a couple orders of fries. Once the food came out, the bill came to $16.40 and I gave the server a $20...she just walked away. Keep in mind I'm taking this out and it was not really a time I would normally tip. I was in a hurry so I had to leave but it was pretty terrible of her and quite dishonest. When I got back to the hotel we ate the food and it was also pretty terrible. Their version of Cuban sandwich apparently doesn't contain shredded pork, but rather just crappy ham and cheese with a tiny bit of pickle and very little condiments. Fries were straight from the freezer and not good either. Very disappointing service (practically theft in my case) and food wasn't much better.

Efficient staff, good food lightly seasoned good size portions at great prices. Walking distance from many airport hotels. Following good Covid practices

We came here from the Holiday Inn Express and Suites nearby. It's a 5 min walk, but the hotel shuttle will also bring you. The place is a simple Cuban style with typical food, you feel you've already arrived in a Latin American country. Nothing luxurious, but simple and authentic.

So glad we found this place near several airport hotels. Hidden away in an industrial area with limited parking however walkable from some hotels near airport. Great Cubanos Nice menu. Indoor and outdoor seating. Good selecton of beverages as well as desserts.

This little restaurant was quite a surprise. The food was just like home cooking! The rice and beans were among the best we've eaten. The plantains were cooked just right and the steak and grilled chicken breast were quite tasty. The ladies didn't speak English but we spoke enough to get the food we wanted. It is quite a popular spot for the locals.

Stopped here for a Cuban sandwich before my flight out of MIA. This place is 7 min from the rental car terminal... Sit outside at the bar with locals and relax. Service was quick and the Cubano was awesome.

Authentic Cuban cuisine. I love this little joint. It was so good I went twice in a weeks time. Discovered it on my way to MIA International trying to get a quick bite. I had breakfast which consisted of wonderfully seasoned steak eggs, french fries, bread, and cafe con leche for $5.50. For lunch I had the flank steak lunch/dinner meal. Comes with 2 sides, lettuce and tomato, and bread. I also had the sangria which was delicious. The staff is wonderful.........and speak English for those interested in visiting but afraid to visit because of the language. Everything was super affordable. We had breakfast for less than $15 for 2 people. I love this spot and anytime I am in the 305 I will be stopping by for a meal. Really authentic Cuban food, with a Cuban-like atmosphere to match. If you are hungry, need a spot close to the airport without the airport area prices, this place is to eat. Nothing fancy, but the food is great.

My first Cuban restaurant & I needed help figuring out what to order. The only waitress that spoke English ok passed us off on one that had no clue. We waited over 20 minute to order, after ordering, we waited over 20 minutes for our food. No one offered refills on drinks, no one checked with us, as a matter of fact we were purposely ignored. If descriptions were on the menu we wouldn't need to ask questions. We weren't the only one ignored, a little old man shuffled around gathering utensils, a menu, salt & pepper, sauces. I ordered a tamale as an appetizer, it arrived with my meal, a Cuban sandwich, both were great. Someone in my group ordered wings, he got 2 orders of wings after his Cuban burger arrived. The Cuban burger was described to us & came different than described, there was a red sauce in the meat, per my friend the wings were good (although he was brought 2 orders & charged for it when he ordered 1, they acted like they did not understand when we let them know), the burger however was not good. Steak sandwiches were ordered by a couple in our party the meat was tough, like take it off the bread & smack the table hard with it. My daughter ordered the 1/4 chicken baked, she loved it! I ordered Cuban coffee, we waited 30 minutes after our meal for it then another 20 minutes for our ticket.

Good sandwiches and plantains too. Enjoyed our meal, coffee, and time there. Service was somewhat slow but waitstaff were nice.

We wanted a place nearby to our hotel that was inexpensive and not a chain. This Cuban restaurant had lots of folks. Servings were super generous. We had Cuban sandwiches with a beer and homemade Sangria. Seemed to be a place Uber drivers hung out between calls. Lots of VERY expensive vehicles. Plenty of parking. Walking distance from Airport Metro Station.

Rincon Criollo was recommended by two nice gentlemen from our car rental company. We decided to go and were beyond pleasantly surprised. We knew we came onto something great because it was busy while the place across the street was not. Most if not all of the patrons were local customers so we knew it was authentic Cuban food. The food? DELICIOUS! My sister & I had the Ropa Vieja daily special, which was great. It also came with 3 side dishes which was very generous. My only complaint is they didn't have yucca (which I set mind on having) so it was difficult to choose from the many options of side dishes. Best of all the value for the price was fantastic. It's kind of in a remote part of Miami, near the airport. If there's time to go back on this trip, I wouldn't hesitate. What a great way to start this vacation!

We found this Restaurant busy(we went right in the middle of lunch time) but very Friendly,Our Waitress was very helpful in explaining the dishes on the menu and offering her recommendations, she was able to converse in English and the food was amazing, cannot wait to go back.

I was staying at a hotel near this area and decided to check out a local Cuban place. Had Lyft drop me off. It looked like they were closing. The waitstaff was very nice and let me order but was closing up around me. I felt bad for keeping them. I sat on a picnic table outside. The area was very dark. In between the back of the airport and the railroad tracks. You could hear the planes and trains. I think if I was not solo or it was the middle of the day, I would have enjoyed it more. The sandwich and fries were good.

Wonderful taste of Cuba. It was very friendly the service was nice and the food was amazing for anyone with a latin cuisine. I had breakfast here and it was great.

No fancy things, authentic cuban place, good food, nice waitresses, reasonable prices. We loved it!tWe had picadillo with rice mixed with black beans and a great fried platano!

very friendly staff, great food, and Colorful place to dine. try the café Cubano and the flan dessert. The dinner menu was excenllent. I had the beef with rice black beans and platano maduro. It was just a taste that cannot be compare, unless you travel to Cuba to experience it.

There lunch & dinner are very delicious. There ropa vieja (shredded beef) is very good. They serve big portions for cheap prices. It's in a safe area, good vibes, fast service & it's very clean. Serves great Spanish food!

We stopped for a quick sandwich to take on a trip. Cruqueta Prepada. Simple comes with some pork some ham and cheese with pickle, Cruquetas and Cuban bread and mustard at times. The one we got had no pork 1 tiny slice of ham no cheese ,bread was sweet not traditional Cuban bread and ketchup and mayo. Horrible throw it out. I could only imagine the other dishes.

Terrible. They deliver but no one speaks one word of English. Very frustrating. Could not place an order. Very unprofessional and they are all yelling in the background. Ridiculous.

it has a very nice feel of a typical cuban Cafe...good music was playing....we were at the miami intermodal centre and got hungry...I went to grab some food for me and my friends since there were a lot of people and also I had a big order it took a long time ...since i am on a wheelchair it was very convenient for me as there was a ramp to get in the ...staff only speaks Spanish so was a little difficult to explain what I wanted...

A year later and still consistent and delicious. Entrepreneur Barbara knows how to give you a Latino/Cuban experience with delicious food and warm, friendly service. While there is no mistaking the beauty of Barbara and her servers, you will have an experience that let's you know this is a must stop near Miami international airport. I reviewed a year ago and it remains my favorite. Spend a couple of hours and enjoy.

Found this little out of the way place to eat breakfast while driving around the airport area. It seems to be a popular place for taxi drivers and airport workers. The food was good and hot. The prices were nice. And the staff was friendly.

Went there this morning for breakfast,we were staying in the hotel Sheraton and had read about it on TripAdvisor,It was quite busy but inside the restaurant it was quite.i had ham 2 egg's chips toast coffee and glass water,my partner had sausage instead of ham the sausage wasn't cooked but apart from that it was good value for money. And would definitely go back.

I went there with, my group that is learning Spanish. The food was great, and the service was also. It's a Cuban restaurant. the name means authentic food on the corner. I had Pechuga Rollado which was similar to Chicken cordon blue. Rolled chicken.

The ladies working there are very very nice and great hostesses. Breakfast and dinner are good and affordable. Great Cuban Coffee.

Rincon Criollo is not a fancy place, but the food is superb. If you're near MIA airport for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, eat here. You'll get fantastic value -- well-prepared Cuban dishes and courteous staff.

excellent food, the service could be better but for the price its ok, the lechon is delicious also breakfast and lunch

So, this is one of those dives that I give 5 stars to for the simple reason that it was just very damn cool. We had just landed at MIA and needed a quick breakfast before heading to the Keys. Yelp strikes again! Found this place which is in a sketch area - we had a rented Mustang and kept keeping an eye on it - ha. Also looks like the mafia may eat there but it's really just a bunch of drivers - van/commercial/taxi drivers seem to eat there - I saw 3 or 4 pass through just while we ate. We ate outside - a lovely lady waited on us. Wish I had her name. You cannot beat the prices here. For exactly $10.70 we had one Cuban coffee, one Coke, an appetizer of salty/buttery toast, steak and eggs with fries and it was fantastic! Now, I'm not talking prime rib or anything fancy at all - it hit the spot, it was ridiculously inexpensive and I was able to enjoy my first cup of Cuban joe much to the amusement of my husband. Definitely look for this place and go out of your way to try it. And tip well - if I only tipped 20% it would've been a sin. And the Mustang was just fine. I just think it's in an industrial area on the rail line so it looks sketch but it was perfectly fine.

We ate here the day before we left for our cruise. You are immediately immersed in the Cuban culture in the restaurant. The servers were so friendly and the meals we had were authentic. The Cuban sandwich however did not have pork in it, only ham so that was a little disappointing. The other three meals were very tasty! We are glad we experienced this cultural spot!

Trying to find a gas station before turning in a rental car, took a wrong turn, and stumbled across this place. The area is somewhat dodgy...We where all hungry and found that if policemen and half of the Hispanic staff of miami airport could have their lunch here, so could we. It is said that the hunger is the best spice, but here also the real spices where just right. Food was delicious and actually comparable with any great food place along the east coast. The kids where all "Mmmm" this and "Mmmm" that. The waitress was most helpful and very kind. If I ever find myself hungry again around miami airport I'll defenitly head back. And next time I will for sure not avoid the frijoles, ropa vieja nor the fried banana thingys. Yum. ...PS...I will be forever thankful for being shown how to add some salt to a Corona beer bottle...wasn't aware of that's "how everybody has their Corona beer".👍

Small Cuban cafeteria in the middle of rent a car area at Miami airport , somebody have to guide you to get over there The best colada and caffe con leche in Miami ,only owner speak English , but very Cuban cuisine , a lot fry food

One of the few places in the area so it is very busy, good food, good prices and good service, recommended if you walk close to Miami airport.

You can't beat crunchy hot fried green plantains, or tostones. I had heard that the red beans are really good, unfortunately they were out by the time I got there. However, the black beans and rice were delicious. I had the chicken steak which was seasoned well grilled to perfection. The meal was accompanied by a cold Presidente. Extremely attentive servers. I must also share that throughout my meal, at least three waitresses came by to check on me to make sure everything was in order. They were very friendly and quick. Watch the detour at the present time, as construction near by might re-route you away. But as the name states, Rincon Criollo, its on the corner and worth the wait.

Very authentic. Great price. English not great for older staff. Young servers good help. Food was all tasty. Sangria excellent. Ask for low ice

Had roast pork with rice and beans...flavorful and large portion. Also had a Cuban sandwich...traditional and perfect. This us the place to get food for a flight as well. Lively atmosphere.

Stayed nearby the airport and this cafe was close enough to walk to. Nothing fancy from a design aspect, but very quaint and friendly. I arrived mid-afternoon and ordered coffee and a Cuban sandwich, both were delicious. Enjoyed sitting outside at the bar and listening to the Cuban music and conversation. Wait staff was fairly friendly and accommodating. My service would probably have been better had I spoken Spanish better. Overall a place I would definitely recommend if you are near the Miami airport. Prices were very reasonable and the quantity of food terrific.

This spot is great for high quality, authentic, well-prepared, reasonably priced food very close to the Miami airport and hotels. My husband and I were literally at the gas station, ready to return the rental car, when I found this restaurant. It had over 1500 reviews (which is a positive) which were 4/5 in rating. I ordered the 8oz skirt steak with 3 sides - rice, black beans and fried sweetened plantains - all delicious. My husband ordered the liver and onions - not my style but it was very tasty! We also ordered the large sangria which had fresh pineapple pieces in it. Service was very friendly and accommodating. We didn't want fast food. We wanted an authentic meal made with pride, which this proved to be the case.

This local place is super close to the airport, which is great if you are hungry after a long flight. The menu is partly in Spanish but we didn't have a problem ordering. Everything we had was tasty. (We aren't very familiar with Cuban cuisine but I know my meal hit the spot!) It's not a fancy place and we were confused about where to park at first (the lot didn't look like it was their lot, despite the signs saying it was). They have a covered patio area so you don't have to eat inside if you don't want to. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere were relaxed. It was a great first stop on our visit to Miami!

This restaurant is near a train station, in an out of the way part of the city. Non-native speakers, although through pantomime and pointing we were able to order. The food was very good and large servings. We wanted to try authentic and this definitely was. There was a slight misunderstanding on our orders, which was to be expected, but was more than made up for by the complimentary flan. Service was attentive and polite.

After going through the reviews, we decided we would stop here for lunch on the way to the airport. It's almost at the front door of the airport, just a little off the beaten path. Parking's tight, but we had no problem getting a spot. There are lots of taxi drivers, police officers, and regular working people here during lunch time and we felt perfectly safe. It was helpful that my husband speaks perfect Spanish, but I imagine the staff knows enough English that anyone could get by here. They have lunch specials that are cheap, plentiful, and good. I had a fried flank steak (shredded) and my husband had fried chicken pieces and we both had the standard sides of rice, black beans, and plantains. Everything was delicious. The inside was not beautiful, but homey enough with some cheerful Miami/Latin music blaring outside and only slightly quieter inside. Clean, safe, delicious.

It's right next to the airport, so expect to hear a plane going overhead about every minute or so. Great value at this local luncheria-style restaurant. While the service was average, don't expect any rush. The sandwich was a 3-4 as far as Cuban sandwiches go. If you love local restaurants, like I do, then you'll like this one. Great value and local vibe.

When we were dropped off ....all I could think was " oh this is going to good.... not" . The service was great the food was great and the overall experience was very positive. Don't judge this book by it's cover

Ate here as it's the only place within walking distance from the Holiday Inn Express. Spanish would help but we didn't have that much trouble. Fresh food, stock menu, nothing flash but good service. Primarily a bar but has attached restaurant. Better option than ordering takeout from a Chinese restaurant and having it delivered.

Very rude customer service. Chicken was dry and tough with a bad smell . The cubano sandwich was the worst sandwich I’ve ever tasted.

Rincon Criollo is the Cuban restaurant you'd imagine if you've never been to Miami. An outside walkup and seating and an inside dining room to suit your mood. The food was authentic and very reasonably priced. Excellent croquettes and cuban sandwiches, cafe cubano and desserts all must be tried. Great service from the lovelies

Alright, the food was fantastic and our service was fast. However, we were not spanish speakers and our waitress was primarily spanish speaking with little english speaking skills. We believe because there was a slight language issue this caused the predicament we encountered. Our waitress didn't really check on us, refill our water, and when we asked to get a dessert she kept asking "ready for bill?"...so we felt like we were being rushed out by our waitress, but the other waitresses seemed to do well and were great from what we observed. If you speak spanish I believe you will have no issues here, but if you don't and you get certain waitresses I would be prepared for bad service, but still the food is top notch. I have been a waitress and understand the intimidation of having a language barrier, but most people if patient can deal with the hurdle and still do fine. Our waitress kept consistently rushing past our table without making eye contact or taking alternate routes to avoid our table...Again, I understand there was a language barrier, but it wasn't like we were not trying to overcome any issues by keeping our requests simple and concise, or just by pointing to what we wanted to prevent mispronouncing the language. I grew up near people who didn't speak english and I still received good service, and we worked around the different languages without too much difficulty. Again, we absolutely loved the food. :)

We had dinner there last night since it was the closest restaurant to our hotel. The indoor dining room was closed but food could still be ordered at the outside bar and there are picnic tables. The food was reasonably priced and freshly cooked. The service was friendly. The only drawback was the specials were listed in Spanish only.

Great local restaurant right next to the Miami airport with excel service and very good food. Prices are excellent!

Not silver service but great food in an informal setting, feels like a local eatery. Plenty of parking and very convenient for Miami airport Staff have limited english but the menu is bilingual, Inexpensive but good

We had a breakfast here and it was a very good one. The ladies preparing and serving the food are just lovely. If only the chair didn't have a bolt sticking out from it's seat, which did tear a hole in my shorts...

Discovered my go-to place in Miami. While out on a walk from the hotel (airport area not an easy walking area) saw this place on a back street. Food was delicious and plentiful. Prices were very reasonable and selection is outstanding. Service is friendly and very enjoyable. Marvelys was fantastic. She was efficient and fun. The staff had a small language barrier with us but that only added to the charm. Marvelys speaks perfect English and that helped when needed but not necessary . Barbara was a pleasure. I believe she was either a manager or an owner and she made us feel welcome and at home. This place is my new home away from home in Miami and I will be back often and encourage anyone to relax, be in the spirit of fun and you won't be disappointed.

Excellent Cuban food with helpful and friendly staff. Our meals were very good as was the tres leches cake. Close proximity to the Miami airport and a short drive from the Sheraton hotel.

Good food, the service is okay sometimes they forget you are there but overall the food and prices make up for the wait.
Great Value Cuban place
Short walk from Miami Metromover, Greyhound bus station and Airport car rental parking. We had dinner AND breakfast at this little place. It has to be the cheapest meal we had in the whole of Florida. Portions were great. Taste fantastic. The Empanadas to go was a great little snack on the move.
