Great, friendly and welcoming service. Backed up by authentic pasta. Nice attentive service. Seafood fettuccine and beef pasta (don’t recall the exact dish 🙄) hit the spot. Great flavours. Fettuccine perhaps a little stodgy, but great taste made up for it. Nice selection of wines and the Chianti was spot on. Reasonable prices.

I came here for dinner last night. The food was delicious! A good variety of menu items - I had difficulty choosing! Leo was my waiter and he was proficient and very polite. The restaurant was fairly busy for a Wednesday night. I had the bruschetta, lobster ravioli with vodka cream sauce, and apple strudel with a cappuccino. Decent (Italian) wine selection. Excellent meal! They do have some tables outside if you want to eat outdoors. Definitely recommended.

These guys have been making FANTASTIC dishes in the midst of downtown Miami before downtown Miami's renaissance. They were ahead of the game and made a risky investment ahead of the game and we respect them for that as the location's environment is still developing. Give these guys a try, you won't regret it! We had the Agnolotti di Pollo and HOLY S**T it was good! Was easy to find parking when we went.

Great arancini, great pizza, great fish, etc. You get the idea. Take advantage of the happy hour, great value.

We were staying in Miami for only one day, and we walked here (about 5 minutes) from the JW Marriott Marquis, and were so happy that we did! Despite being busy, we were quickly greeted and given a choice of two tables. We then were quickly greeted by our server and asked about drinks (beer, wine) and water requests. We ordered the meatballs appetizer and the antipasto appetizer. Both were very good. I ordered linguine with seafood (shrimp, mussels, calamari, scallops) in a light red sauce and my husband <initially> ordered lasagna. The server told us that they were out of lasagna but suggested the pasta with bolognese sauce, as it was the same sauce used for the lasagna. Excellent suggestion! Our meals were wonderful and you could tell the pasta was freshly made! The portions were just the right size (actually, I couldn’t finish mine!). For dessert, my husband had the Napolean , and the serving size was double what he expected. It was delicious! We asked the manager (who often checked with all the tables to make sure everything was okay) if he would take our picture for us since it was our anniversary. He gladly did so, but them came back in a couple minutes with two complimentary champagne flutes and suggested that he take another picture with us toasting our anniversary. So sweet! So special!

I was taken to dinner with a group for a working dinner. The setting and ambiance were comfortable like and pleasant, and the menu choices varied (but typical). I ordered the Veal Limone and found it excellent (veal with an arugula salad). Others chose pasta or a chicken dish -- apparently their meals were heavier than m one and stuck with them (I was glad I chose what I did). So, what can one take from this? Keep in mind how Italians traditionally dine and choose menu items that fit your taste and appetite (I like pasta but often have a half portion or share with someone because it can be too much, especially if combined with a "plate secondi"). I'd definitely return given the quality of my veal and the accompaniments. Service was very good and prices exceedingly reasonable.

Outstanding. Excellent service, wine and food. Very cozy ambience. I had the clams with spaghetti dish, house salad and tiramisu. Loved them all- most especially the entree.

We have been away travelling for 4 weeks including a cruise. This was one of the best meals that we had. Two shared bruschetta for starters were on point. We both had their most popular pasta, Filet Mignon papadelle, it was a standout. We shared the profiteroles which again were superb. Great unobtrusive service made for a standout Italian meal.

So if you’re in Downtown Miami and having a craving for Italian food check out Fratelli Milano. We got there via TripAdvisor/OpenTable but we were really blown away by the homemade pastas and fresh ingredients. Looks like a solid neighborhood favorite off Biscayne.

Our last visit to this restaurant was about five years ago and my review then I said would not return. Having found ourselves in the same area we decided to give it the benefit of the doubt and go again. I am happy to say we were not disappointed. It was a very busy Friday night but this did not affect the service which was efficient and friendly. The carpaccio starter was excellent along with the calamari. We had four different pasta dishes for mains and each one was delicious. A few glasses of good red wine were enjoyed and unfortunately we had no room for dessert. We enjoyed it so much that we returned three days later. Glad we overcame our original problems.

Great food and you can eat outside on the sidewalk. We had the calamari as a starter. It was good and fresh and the marinara sauce excellent. I loved the bread and the dipping sauce that cane with it. My wife had the burrata. It was good but it came with arugula which she is not a fan of which we did not realize so our bad. I had the salmon which was excellent. It had a great taste and the quality was good. Good portion size as well. Would definitely go back. Good food and good value for money.

Reserved on OpenTable and arrived on time only to be told had to eat out on the sidewalk as they had reserved the entire inside dining for a private party! There was no notification to us from the restaurant or through OpenTable. If we wanted street side dining with traffic noise and fumes along with pedestrians walking by our table on a regular basis, we would have booked it!!!!! Not good Fratelli!!!! Dinners on the other hand were delicious, freshly prepared with flavorful ingredients. Service was also attentive and professional. Lastly, got notice from OpenTable that we hadn't dined with them on appointed date/time----incorrect---we were there and notified OpenTable accordingly.

This restaurant was the highlight of our trip to Miami. The food was beyond good. Every course was perfection. Our waiter was both attentive and charming. I have found that small restaurant tend to be my favorites. I have now added another one to the list.

Great Italian food, genuine and prepared with quality ingredients. In addition, the portions are plentiful, so you definitely do not go out hungry. A note of merit to the desserts (especially the crème brûlée, really good), really spatial. The environment is very attention to detail and all the staff makes you feel at home, a welcome that I tried in a few places. Congratulations to our waiter Bernardo, who with his professionalism, kindness and sympathy helped make us feel at home. To return, thanks to all the staff!

The food is excellent. We enjoyed the paperdelle Milano - excellent pasta and filet mignon sauce! And: the Fiocchi Di Pera was phenomenal - ravioli-like packets of pear and cheese! Never had these before. Well worth ordering!

The fettuccine Alfredo with chicken was amazing! It was also good with shrimp! Lasagna and ravioli tops too! Highly recommend!

This is a gem. Party of 6 for dinner, and honestly, I cannot find anything to compliant about. Food was very nice and authentic Italian, service was attentive and price level very reasonable. Go visit before this restaurant gets to much attention and price will go up.

Just 200 meters from hotel I stopped by this Italian restaurant. Nice decor and good competent service. The food (ravioli with lobster) was swimming in pink sauce and there were around 7/8 raviolis. It was tasty but that is all; nothing major. The dessert, warmed cookie was not pleasant and the bread basket was indifferent. How did this restaurant get to be 20 best in Miami?

We came to our go to place in downtown Miami and we’re again extremely happy with the experience. We got the meatballs as an appetizer. Fantastic flavor. For an entree we both ended up getting the penne tre funghi. Absolutely outstanding. Delicious mushroom taste in a creamy sauce. Felt decadent. Again, Jose was our server. We request him! Excellent attention. He is quick to recommend if asked and his suggestions are always spot on. A totally awesome dining experience.

Pizza and Teramisu was delicious. The pizza was a special one. Ingredients: Tomato, mozzarella, bresola, rucola, parmesan, fresh tomato.

Restaurant in Downtown, Italian dishes quite well cooked, fruiti di mare, we ordered it all four, abundant and with very good taste , drinks and finish with coffees. It cost us $100 a couple. Good service, in Spanish, very attentive guy. We wanted to come back another day in the evening but we found it closed. I'd repeat.

Came to this place for Happy Hour and decided to stay for dinner after learning that the pasta is made fresh daily. My friends had the lasagna and the mushroom pasta and I had the pear-filled pasta. Everything was so authentic and the flavors were rich but not too rich. Amazing sauces, thin, beautiful pasta, all served in a cozy setting. We sat outside and, except for the traffic noise, had a really lovely time. Staff was attentive but not hovering. Decent wine selection and very affordable. Even fit in our tiny business per diem!

... after reading reviews I thought it would be a Mount Everest of Italian restaurants Downtown, but it is not. Food is proper but nothing more than that. Waiters are nice but they were focused on chatting with friends (including a guy getting to the restaurant on his scooter) rather than checking out if guests are okey.

I have worked across the street for over a year. Always walked by afraid it would be another downtown tourist spot. Turns out I was wrong. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan and was pleasantly surprised. Tomato sauce has great flavors and the portions are substantial! It’s served with potatoes and vegetables- I prefer pasta but it makes for a lighter lunch. A few days later I went back to try a dessert. The taramisu is delicious. Well worth a try. Not a disappointment at all and the attentiveness and welcoming staff just make it even more enjoyable!

We enjoy our Thanksgiving and anniversary in this restaurant, the food was really good and also the service.

Upon first inspection, the restaurant was rather crowded. It was clear this could be a potentially promising sign, or a dangerous omen of poor service. However, I am now certain that it was due to the delicious pastas, wine selection, and service that dozens flocked to this establishment. The price point felt a bit high for lunch, but overall it was a great meal.

My husband and I have chosen it as our favorite place here in Miami. The pizza is excellent, the Fillete Mignon prepares it very well and the desserts are excellent. This spot has delicious food! My husband and I were so happy with the food. We had bruschetta to start, it was good, I added some balsamic to it which made it better (but that could be preference. It would be nice if they could serve it with a balsamic reduction.) For my main I ordered the pappardele pasta and my husband ordered the chicken caprese. The pasta was soft and you could tell that it was freshly made - very impressed! The chicken was moist and flavorful + the potatoes served with the chicken were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Overall delicious!!! Our waiter was great as well! I would highly recommend checking out this place for some tasty Italian food!

We were lucky and got a table at Fratelli when staying in Downtown Miami. Good atmosphere, good food and wine and the service made it all complete. Visit them, you will be happy

Visited in May 2018. Gad reservations, but arrived early and was greeted with open arms. Sat immediately. Found out restaurant only serves beer and wine, but no spirits. Major downer. Found the food to be exceptional. Service was professional and efficient. Overall i would definitely go back.

Un unpretentious setting in a bustling area in downtown. But food is overall good and service correct. We were a party of 8 and everybody left happy with their food choice. Prices are moderate

In town for a little stay cation and birthday celebration with my husband. We were looking through Trip Advisor. We saw mixed reviews, but decided to go anyway. I’m so happy we did. Jose was our server he gave great recommendations and conversation. Everything we tasted was great. The prices were EXTREMELY reasonable. I would definitely recommend going here. mmmmmixed reviews

We got into Miami late, but had decided early this was where we wanted to eat and had a 10:00 reservation. It did not disappoint! We had pappardelle Milano, gnocchi with a white cream sauce & steak with a Chianti sauce (the sauce was delicious!) & truffle mashed potatoes. Every dish was mouth watering. We also enjoyed a few glasses of Super Tuscan red wine. I highly recommend this place. Our waiter was also attentive and offered suggestions for us.

This was a good restaurant to go to they were kind and polite they gave assistance a lot they gave food so we didn’t get hungry the food was nice and the place was clean and tidy so I am glad this is a restaurant

My husband and I were visiting Miami for a night before boarding a cruise. Having never been in Miami before we decided to give this restaurant a try. I’m sooo glad we did!! I love Italian food and this was the best I’ve ever had! Our server, Betiana, was excellent. She answered all our questions and made recommendations without making us feel rushed or out of place. I really liked the small atmosphere and everyone’s willingness to help each other. Highly HIGHLY recommend this place. I’ll definitely be back!

The dishes are of excellent quality and abundant. Really Italian. The spectacular melanzane parmigiana. The service is the weakest. And the area is not the best, but you can leave your car in a parking lot in front of the restaurant.

We stumbled upon this place while walking around downtown Miami and are very happy we did. The ambience was nice with a very European feel and an extremely attentive and friendly wait staff. We started with the Mediterranea Bruschetta which was excellent followed by the Scaloppine al Limone and the Bronzino both of which were very tasty! There were too many deserts to choose from but settled on the Bombolone which was creamy and delicious! Can not wait to come back and try the pasta!

Recommend place that I found very delicious. The foid was well prepared and the dishes were not small at all. The service was warm and very easy going. I wish the wine options were better even though the prices are very reasonable. This is a kind of place I would love to come back.

I had very high expectations after a relative, some friends and several social midia critics said so many positive things about this place. But was quite below my expectations. My order, papardele with fitel mignon had a lot of tomato sauce and practically no meat. And the tiramisu that i ordered as desert was something quite odd, and for sure not a tiramisu. Maybe I was not lucky with my choice, but I am not sure I will return to try other choices...

This was my first time visiting Fratelli Milano, and it was definitely a great experience. From what I experienced, this is my review: Place: Very classy and with a great taste of decor Parking: Can’t tell cause I got there on UBER Service: Excellent and very accommodating and kind Seating & environment: amazing atmosphere, great for every type of visitor (family, date, business or solo) Wine selection: not as big as you could expect, but more than necessary. Cocktails: good basic preps, nothing out of the regular (not that is needed) FOOD: great service time, amazing temperature, excellent taste and presentation. Overall, the food takes all the credits on the night and will definitely come back soon. TIP: make a reservation and try to keep up with the time, cause they have high demand, specially on weekends. Opentable was a great platform.

Absolutely delicious, we tried the tradicional bruschetta, lobster ravioli, fettuccine with seafood, and for dessert we had the flan and elephant ear, everything just delicious!

I return to Fratelli every time I’m in downtown Miami. The food and service are simply amazing! A must stop!

We only spent 22 hours in downtown Miami, but this evening meal was great! My husband and I shared one of the pizza offerings. We enjoyed it very much and took half the pizza back to our hotel room and ate the rest for lunch before flying home the next day. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and service. We will visit again on a return trip. My only regret is that we didn't order a dessert!

6 of us chose this restaurant due to its location and high rating. Everything was delicious! From the salads, small plates, entrees and desserts and coffees. Good service, good price, excellent staff.

We discovered this wonderful restaurant a couple of years ago. And it's why we keep looking for opportunities to visit Miami. It's a charming little restaurant with a European feel. And its Italian food is better than we have eaten in Italy. The pastas are freshly made and delicious. And the veal is to die for, especially the one with lemon. On top of that, the staff is always friendly and professional, especially Gabriela who kindly and graciously served us during our most recent visit. We can't wait till our next visit to Miami and Fratelli Milano.

This is totally a family run,authentic Italian restaurant with warm and inviting ambiance. We came here for an early dinner and we were seated quickly.There are inside seating and also outside seating available on the sidewalk. They welcome you by a tasty bread and sauce prior to the entree.The Big menu contains many options.Our entree was Caprese, Garibaldi (Pizza) , Fettuccine Allo Scoglio ,the food is really Tasty,large portion,good flavored,well prepared and presented Hot. The prices were reasonable and the Service was awesome.

Pizza base 1-2 Stars … Topping 3-4 Stars …. Service 4 Stars …. prices on whole menu seemed reasonable. A real up n down mix. I think I should have ordered a pasta dish, many of which looked very good. But, I decided on a pizza with prosciutto & arugula (both very good). But, WTF was the pizza base ? It honestly had the taste and texture of one of those Aldi pre-prepared bases :O certainly not like anything I’ve had in ANY region of Italy. I’d be tempted to go back and try a different dish, but NEVER a pizza.

The gnocchi and the spaghetti plates are delicious. Very intense italian flavor. Make a reservation and come enjoy great italian food. Don't forget to try the tiramisu.

I grew up in Italy and since I have moved to the United States I have had a hard time finding Italian food that rivals that of Italy. This is it. This place is absolutely incredible, the staff is amazing and attentive and this food brought me right back to the streets of Italy.

Wife and I visited while in town for the weekend. Making a reservation was easy, even for a busy Saturday night. Beautiful restaurant with a great ambiance. Food was delicious and prices were reasonable. Service was friendly and attentive. For drinks, entrees, and dessert for two, it took about 1.5 hours in/out. We enjoyed a bottle of Cabernet, Fiocchi di Pera, Pollo Farcito, Tortino al Cioccolato, and Tiramisu. We would definitely return and would recommend it to others.

I went with my father this week. I really enjoyed not only my gnocchis with cream... OMG they were soooo good. The ambiance is very nice. Our server Betiana was very attentive, answering all our questions and more. They have an excellent homemade Tiramisu. Really I recommend this place. It’s a very good restaurant in downtown Miami. terrible and disgusting! Me and my husband went there because we saw many good reviews. The food was really tasty. BUT! My husband told me that after we finished the food he accidentally saw how one cook had big whisk and what he is doing ?! Making fun and wants to annoy another cook by kicking his head with this whisk! And it was with something on it so obviously he was cooking with it. And my husband didnt want to say it cause im pregnant and we already finished the food so i would have been feeling disgusting right after the food. Its not acceptable for such restaurant with high prices and high status,its not just simple caff to think that this was expected.

We were looking for a restaurant and thank god we found this one. Beside the fact that we were 4 Italians in a group of 6, and then we were happy to find an Italian restaurant, the food and service was excellent and we were totally satisfied. Next time we will absolutely come back.

Step into Italy with this gem! Two brothers in the kitchen… one a baker who puts out great desserts, and the other the chef. Fresh pastas, the secret sauce for the bread was incredible! Intimate with about 15 tables . Service top notch!

The food was delicious! We were there for lunch and enjoyed salads, grilled veggies, panini, and pizza. All of the staff was super friendly. The only reason we did not rate them a 5 was our food was slow to arrive, although to be fair, they did have a full house.

As always. Exceptional service and exceptional food. The bucatini was delicious and plentiful. The risotto was ridiculously delicious. Jose again provides excellent service. Chose this restaurant because of it’s proximity to the American Airlines Arena. I was pleasantly surprised. The food was great, the ambiance was nice and the staff was really friendly. I would definitely go back.

We stumbled on this authentic Italian restaurant after we had visited a less than ideal bar recommended by hotel. Had a hard time deciding what we wanted and finally went with one of specials. Very Italian, fresh and meat cooked well. Great bread Clientele made up of local Italians, very well heeled based on their cars. We ate outside and enjoyed European sidewalk ambience.

Great Italian place, lot of care from host and chef. We had lasagna which was super tasty! Size perhaps too big for my liking, but cannot complaint about that.

Were looking to have a leisurely lunch and this really fit the bill. Two of us shared a caesar salad to start, each had a pasta entree, shared a bottle of wine and dessert. The food was so good. The crowd was very business lunch expense account, and we were dressed as the tourists that we were, but we were welcomed in and treated very well regardless. Highly recommend and would go back in an instant.

This place left me speechless. Forget about how great the service was. I would ask for Brian if you want great service. But everyone I came in contact with there went above and beyond. I had a sea food linguine thing that was the best I have ever had. A massive portion and I'm a big eater. And the bread. Fresh and so amazing. Anyone who knows me. Knows I complain about restaurants not serving fresh bread. I don't understand why if your serving bread to all your customers why you wouldn't make it on site daily. This place obviously makes the bread fresh daily right there. They make amazing bread. The pasta also was obviously made fresh to order because I never had something as simple as linguine that tasted so great. The seafood was cooked just right. A lot of times I get shrimp and it's under cooked. Not here. Also the sauce had great flavor. One of the best Italian restaurants I have ever tried. And it's one of my favorite types of food. I can't imagine what the other 9 Miami restaurants are like if they are better than this. I guess I need to plan another trip to Florida.

Very good authentic italian restaurant , excelent food, excelent service, thank you Betiana! The salmon was perfectly done, sea food pasta very tasty. We were served with bread and olive oil mixed with grounded sun-dried tomatoes , a blast!

Lobster ravioli is one of my favorites and in most places I find myself disappointed...but not here! It was so flavorful and even the sauce was awesome. My husband had the pollo caprese and said it was great, which means a lot. The creme brulee was 🔥. Even my husband enjoyed it!! We will definitely come here again.

We live minutes from here and had never stopped by. It has been one of our best Italian food experiences. Brian our server made excellent recommendation. We will definitely come back!!! Excellent cuisine, service and very attractive prices.

My wife and I spent 2 nights at the nearby JW Marriott prior to departing on a cruise. We found this restaurant via Trip Advisor and it was also on the recommended list of the hotel concierge. We made two visits to Fratelli Milano to eat as we found the food and service so good on the first night we decided that we would go back to sample more of the menu the next night. The antipasti, pasta, pizza, wine, dessert, and service were all excellent. This is one of the best Italian restaurants we have ever experienced. Would definitely go back there again should we be in Miami in the future.

The service was great and friendly by Jose G. The wine prices are very reasonable compared to many other restaurants with a nice selection. All dishes were well presented, prepared and at the right temperature. Fish special, Fetticini Allo Scoglio, Pappardelle Miano . The apple strudel and creme brulee were also good

This was a really great restaurant The bruschetta was fabulous. The service was really super. The lobster ravioli was the best we ever had anywhere. The pasta was delicate and perfect. The veal limone was delicious. The Napoleon for dessert was as I had always remembered. Excellent. The service was friendly, attentive and efficient. This is definitely a place to visit for really good food.

We love authentic Italian food. Fratelli Milano was exactly the meal we’d hoped for. Nice wine list and cocktail of the day. Fresh flavors and well prepared dishes. Service was excellent. My only wish was if the meal could have lasted longer.

I went to the restaurant with wife and 4 year old daughter ordered a fish and a kids pasta at 6:00pm I left a 16% tip before taxes and Leo the Argentinian who won't make 16% tip in Italy and much less in Argentina came complaining about the tip! Plus another Cuban waiter called me "trichio" which is an idiom for Cheap! WTF is wrong with these people! I will never go back there and I suggest you don't go either unless you are ready to pay a mandatory 18% TIP AFTER TAXES

So good the first night we went back a second time. Our waiter Jose was fantastic. Fairly quiet first night, very busy second night, service both nights was impeccable. Food was delicious, place had a great vibe. My photos don’t do it justice .

I was at the restaurant in December with a group and found it OK. I returned with my wife and we had a much better experience (largely because the other folks I was with in December had a different orientation to dining). We had appetizers (two different salads - Caprese and Buratta) and both had veal limon (which was perfect!). The dining room is relaxed and typical of what one would find in Italy, and the food also much like in Italy. All in all, it was a wonderful, relaxed (2 hour) meal in a pleasant setting. What else can one ask for?

A restaurant that serves truly good Italian cuisine and is a must. Cloth napkins are the first guarantee of quality because nowadays, we tend to have paper napkins. It was a little expensive and very good, like in Italy compared to a few days before, we were at Lombardi's restaurant and it was expensive and frankly not good. So you won't be disappointed if you pay a little price. We had Tagliatelle al Ragu and spaghetti alle Vongole, a good bottle of Montepulciano 2018 and a bottle of sparkling water and we paid $140. But hey in the USA, restaurants and wines are super expensive…

I came here to get Veal. Although it’s not on the menu I wanted a veal cutlet (toasted and not breaded). They were not able to accommodate. Apparently there is not a single piece of veal that they had not already pounded and breaded for the evening. Idk really how to feel about this because I know I’m partially in the wrong for assuming they could accommodate something “off menu” if you could even call it that. But as an Italian restaurant they should be able to prepare a roasted veal cutlet, but that’s just my opinion. I tried to grab a cocktail here, but alas they don’t serve cocktails either. So I ordered a moscato which I was delighted with, it was very sweet and just my taste. I got a veal francese, which is still off menu. They served it with fettuccine - as requested. It was a small portion. They gave me pasta that could fit in the palm of my hand and 4.5 tiny pieces of veal (approximately 9 decent bites of veal). However, the food was good tasting! Which is why it’s a 4/5, the veal was tender and moist. The service was above average, I’d say like a 8/10. Overall the experience was a bit underwhelming. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Whenever we are downtown we choose this italian restaurant for a meal, it is always excellent, the dishes are deliciously creative and the atmosphere is very cozy

We have had dinner at this restaurant several times and always liked it. The pasta and pizza were always delicious (especially the lobster pasta) and also the rest of the menu is appealing and diverse. The prices for the food are reasonable (for example a good pizza for 15 USD is perfectly fine) and the wine is also affordable. Another big bonus is the very friendly and attentive staff. So far, we have not a single waiter that did a bad job. We are happy to return again.

Busy place. Parking can be a problem. My wife had the lobster ravioli I had the seafood fettuccine. Both entrees were delicious. Very good service.

I went here twice on a three-night business trip because it was so good. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, nobody rushing me. And the food!!! The fist time I had veal scallopini I white wine sauce with black truffles—delicious! The second night, grouper in a white wine sauce with capers, black olives, and heirloom tomatoes—equally delicious! On the second night, I ordered a wine that turned out not to be at all to my taste, and it was replaced by another without any problems. Will definitely come back here when I am back in Miami!

We stayed at a nearby hotel and wanted to experience an amazing meal before our cruise. I saw this restaurant on Trip Advisor and it was a only a 3 minute walk from our hotel. We have been to Italy and have never tasted better Italian food before. The dessert as exceptional! The staff was extremely personable and that made our evening even better. My wife and I strongly recommend this incredible restaurant!

Fresh made, excellent quality, and pleasant, professional, organized, thorough but not overbearing service. Everything was smooth and easy. And one of the employees even helped my wife get a stain out of her blouse. Try the ravioli or the risotto. Small place, make a reservation.

I was recommended to this restaurant and as my brother was staying nearby I thought it would make the perfect trip! Before I provide my own review I do need to say that my brother and his family really enjoyed the food, my wife had the branzino which was very good quality. My review is therefore based on the food I had and my own personal experience. I couldn’t decide what to order. I wanted the lasagna but really do not enjoy pork mixed with beef. I chose the Quatro farmagio pizza. We had brouchette as an appetizer for the table which were tasty but I’m convinced they were worth the money. The pizza was relatively small and it looked like the type of pizza you can get from any restaurant. The cheese they used in fairness seemed to be quality nonetheless I was not enjoying it enough to eat. I tried my brothers spaghetti pomodoro which I did not enjoy and my wife’s branzino which was an excellent dish, I also tried my sister in laws pene pasta with pesto which was nice but not exceptional. If you are looking for a good home made family run italian authentic restaurant then this will probably fulfil this aim. If you are looking for something exceptional I would suggest looking elsewhere.

We stopped by for dinner as it was not too far from our hotel. The atmosphere was authentic and the food was terrific. They were pretty busy but we did not feel rushed. We tried to return but they were closed Sunday night! YMMV

This place never disappoints. Outstanding food. Never been for lunch, but we were heading to a baseball game and can never go to Miami without a visit here. Husband had tre funghi penne. Always delicious and outstanding. I never had the tagliatelle Verdi with meat sauce. Omg. I think this may be my new favorite. Not heavy and so spiced perfectly. Met the chef and owners. Couldn’t be nicer. I will continue visiting. Btw. Barely had anything at the ball park because of the lunch we had her. Hats off to Jose. Always a pleasure to see him. He is an excellent person and we just love him and everything about Fratelli Milano!!!!!!

We frequently order for firm luncheon. I ordered Salmon with veges. The salmon was perfect, the veges were gross. Looks like chunks of veges thrown in - the presentation was not well done. Veges should have been chopped more instead of a big chunk. For $19 I expected a better plate. But I must commend the service. One lunch was missing due to not ordering it, and they immediately dispatched it. Thank you for that.

We dined at this restaurant twice in the past few years, when we were departing from the cruise port. It was a fabulous experience the first time and we sought it out specifically the second time. Wonderful homemade pasta dishes and great meat and fish dishes were all enjoyed by our party. We did not have desserts, but they looked fabulous! In fact, we saw people come in off the street just to purchase desserts to bring home. Two of us have food allergies and the kitchen staff was happy to accommodate our specific dietary needs. Nice wine selections too. Definitely give it a try if you are in the area. Nice family restaurant with great staff.

Small restaurant with a few outside tables. Large menu, I had Pappardelle in a filet/porcini mushroom sauce. Pasta cooked perfectly, meat tender. Good selection of wine. I've forgotten what I had, but it was a recommendation of the waiter and I was pleased. Would go back.

Loved everything about this restaurant -- gracious, old-world service, fabulous food without affectations, the crowd, diverse and authentically out for a good meal. I had spaghetti all congolese with bottarga. When it arrived, I thought I could eat only half of it, but it was so good I finished every bit. My husband had Pappardelle Milano and also scraped the bottom of the dish.

This was my second time here and it was just as incredible as the first time! We went with a group of people and thought that we over-ordered, but ended up eating every last bite! The bruschettas tasted so fresh, the calamari was cooked perfectly (we ended up ordering a second one!) and the pizza was so flavorful! I had the salmon and, I swear, it was the best salmon that I’ve ever had. It melted like butter in your mouth! My husband had the caprese chicken - soooooo good, our friends had the lobster ravioli and the mushroom pasta dish. Everything was fantastic! Oh - and be SURE to have the tiramisu. The cannoli and chocolate cake were to die for, but ohhhhhhhh, that tiramisu!!!! We have friends coming next weekend and this is number one on restaurants to take them to! ☺️👍🏼

Nice restaurant, very tasty food, very tasty risotto. Only the service was very rushed, they took the dish from the entrance while I was still eating, and the restaurant was not to close, nor was there waiting for customers.

If I could rate them less than 1, I would. I ordered a pasta, an appetizer and a dessert. I received the appetizer and the dessert, and no pasta. I called the restaurant assuming they would be courteous and correct their mistake, and instead they gave me the run around. They basically accused me of lying about not receiving it and blew me off repeatedly. I placed an order at 7:30pm and now it’s 11pm. If that’s their integrity with customer service, I can only imagine how careless they are with the quality of food.

Fratelli Milano is an authentic italian resturant in the heart of downtown Miami. We went with another couple and ALL of us THOROUGHLY ENJOYED THE MEAL! The place was crowded all evening, so reservations are suggested. Prices are quite reasonable and VERY WORTH the price. Decent wine selection. The restaurant is most known for pasta dishes (I had Fruite de maree....fruit of the sea and it was great!).. The only disappointment was that valet parking was promised when we called in for the reservation and there was NONE! I had to pay $15 across the street at a public garage.

I was advised to visit this place by one of the Front desk collaborators of the Hotel I was staying in. They were absolutely right. Food in this place is simply fantastic, waiters are friendly and also give you good suggestions about the menu. Nice atmosphere too! If you love italian cucine, you cannot miss this place.

Walked in off the street because of the delicious smell. The menu is full of classic rustic dishes. Amazing, not overly complicated, just naturally complex flavors. The staff was friendly, warm, and anticipated my needs I am sad that I don't live here because I truly want to try everything on the menu. The only critique is that while they have a fun and good value wine list, I wish there were a few higher-end wines. Something for good value around 100 dollars that will stand up and match the excellent cuisine.

Very well cooked food and excellent staff make this place a “real find” Authentic Italian cuisine served by knowledgeable waiting staff We will certainly return on our next visit to Miami. The pasta was homemade and quite delicious and my wife loved her rigatoni laced with a very delicate tomato sauce. I had superb tortellini also with a subtle tomato sauce. Highly recommended- enjoy.

We were welcomed and explained the history of the restaurant. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The bread was soft and delish with the sundried tomato spread. The eggplant appetizer was fabulous. Could have eaten more of that. The in house made spinach tagliatelle with meat sauce was so good. Sadly no room for the awesome dessert assortment. Definitely try this place if you are in downtown Miami. 😎🌴😋

Between the construction and the traffic, this place might be hard to find, but please do not pass it up. The food and the service are remarkable. And you will do a double take at the prices, especially after you finish, because it was so good you would easily pay much more. I cannot wait to back again.

We visited after reading glowing reviews and all the family agreed the meal and service were superb. We had a good cross section from the menu (pasta special, risotto, pizza, and steak) and all were lovingly prepared and presented and, best of all, full of flavour. We were also tempted by the array of beautiful desserts on display and again it was certainly not a case of “style over substance”. The reasonable price was also a pleasant surprise considering the downtown location.

You won't be disappointed with spending time at this restaurant. The food is outstanding and service is excellent. Recommend the gnocchi and ravioli but other dishes were great as well.

We haven’t been in a few years but this place hasn’t missed a beat. The best Italian food in south Florida. We split a pizza as an appetizer. Margherita. Outstanding. Husband had the tre fungi penne. What sumptuous flavor! I had angilotti with pollo. So delicious. We usually have Jose as our server but he is now manager and couldn’t have been nicer. He even remembered us! Alex was a great server, attentive but not intrusive. I cannot recommend this place enough. We took the train from Fort Lauderdale just to come here for dinner!!!

I had the best apple strudel with vanilla ice cream and coffee in the afternoon. Can’t wait to return for lunch or dinner.

I checked this place on TripAdvisor and it looked great, 10mins walk from our hotel and it was quiet when we arrived and the service was excellent from the moment we arrived explaining the dishes and we had some beautiful pasta dishes and lovely tiramisu and the best coffee I’ve had in Miami. Overall great food, excellent service and lovely vibe, will definitely visit again if in Miami

FOOD This is what I tried: -pollo farcito -scaloppine al limone -various specials throughout my visits here -tiramisu If you are up for something different, start with the pollo farcito. Chicken will be a tad bit salty due to it being wrapped in prosciutto but man. It is indeed something different. The veal medallions that comes with scaloppine al limone, just wow. The meal is amazing. I can honestly say I never had a bad meal here. My last couple of visits have been trying their specials as it truly rotates and the meals have been just out right delicious. Also, the breadsticks and tomato sauce that comes with the meal, yes please. PARKING No. Street parking if you can find it. There is official pay parking roughly a block away at 158 se 1st street. SERVICE Good. PRICE Expect to around $60 for two. TIP/OTHER THOUGHTS They have their cooking accolades posted indoors when you walk in, which they have rightfully earned. Truly one of the best Italian restaurants I have been to in Miami. Absolutely love their taste.

My wife and I loved the food, the ambience and decor. The service on the other hand, was less than ideal. It took forever to get our food and once we got it, our waitress Betiana, never came back to check on us. It was as if we were invisible! I was going to make additional orders for drinks, but that never happened because she completely ignored/forgot about us.

I went here all by myself for my first dinner in Miami. The servers and support staff were very attentive. The prices were very appropriate for the food. I live in Chicago and I take pizza pretty seriously...I had the prosciutto/arugula/Parmesan pizza. It was good...not great. However the service and prices were awesome. I don’t eat pasta but the people around me who had pasta seemed very happy with their pasta dishes. When I go back I will totally try a pasta dish.

Food was absolutely delicious. Ceasar salad dressing was really delicous. The bread was warm and the small container of bruschetta topping that comes with the bread was fantastic. We were having a light lunch so my husband ordered fettuccine with cream sauce add chicken and I had the gnocchi with cream sauce add sautéed shrimp. Our service was great and the ambience is very nice! They have outdoor sitting as well.

When we came in, we saw a packed small restaurant with a lot of tables, people sitting very close to each other, chatting, laughing, enjoying lunch time during work day, tourists like us trying something new. Waitress was quick and brought us water and bread with tomato sauce as a light snack. This restaurant is famous for its homemade pasta and everyone around was eating pasta dishes so we made our choice very quickly. When I saw on menu fiocchi with pears, cheese and sage butter sauce, I got very excited because it’s that type of exquisite food that you won’t see often in regular Italian restaurants. We ordered cavatelli with lamb and cheese and pear fiocchi and told waitress that we would like to share two pasta dishes. In 10 minuets waiter brought us four plates, they split pasta themselves for our convenience. Taste was wonderful and portions are huge here so we were full after we finished.

Betiana was a wonderful waitress, excellent service and attended to our every need. The food was delicious, especially the homemade pasta with lamb ragú. It was a great meal overall.

Comfortable non pretentious atmosphere obviously a place catering to locals and tourists; visiting Miami from the west coast of Florida we were intrigued by chefs and menus and were not disappointed; my husband had the salmon fettuccine and it was amazing; I had the veal with lemon sauce with roasted potatoes and it hit the spot for my craving.

Took a business group to Fratelli Milano for dinner. There were four of us and three are vegetarians. Our server was well versed on their menu and was able to modify a couple of dishes to accommodate the group. We had great seats in front of the windows and could watch the activity outside. The food was phenomenal. All the pasta was fresh made and the sauces were fresh and full of flavor. No take away boxes were needed for the generous portions given. We ended the evening with desert and coffees, espressos and cappuccinos. Best of all, the overall costs of the evening was exceptional and next time I am in Miami, I will definitely go back to Fratelli Milano.

Went for lunch on the way to a cruise, what luck, you know the food is going to be great when 95% of the customers are locals. Momma in the kitchen was definately Italian, not always the case in an Italian restaurant ! The food, service and price could not have been better. We walked by in the evening and it was jammed packed with people when other restaurants in the area were almost empty

Went back again to this excellent restaurant. This time with a business group. The food was delicious, the service (especially Betiana) was exceptional. Everybody in the group had a wonderful time.

I was in Miami on business and staying at the Courtyard Marriott. This restaurant is less than a 2 block walk. I thought the service and meal were excellent. I had the pollo caprese and a glass of wine and the total came to $28. The place seemed genuinely Italian and the waiters spoke Italian to each other. The meal was great and it had a ton of vegetables. I didn't have dessert but they have a large dessert menu and it all looked real good in refrigerated displays. I was going to come back a second night and try the pasta which they say is homemade but it didn't work out.

This was our first time and it won't be our last. This was a true "downtown" dining experience, which rivals other "downtown" experiences we have had in our travels throughout Europe. The experience for us was fine dining quality at mid-range pricing.

The family was craving Italian and this place was close by with some good reviews. The homemade pasta was a nice touch. Our experience with Italian is that everyone does it differently with subtle differences. The good: Lobster ravioli was very good - in fact it was the best dish at our table (hands down). The Chicken Caprese was also good (portion was fairly large). The Pappardelle was average (I didn't care too much for it) but I did like the pasta itself. The Lasagna left the youngest disappointed and myself as well. It just didn't have the taste we were looking for. The service was great and the experience. The restaurant ambiance is a nice touch.

Arrived here late on Saturday night after a flight and they were more than happy to accommodate us. They were so welcoming , the service was fantastic and the food was even better. I would 100% recommend this restaurant!

Wow! This was an unexpected gem that we found while strolling the neighborhood near the Olympia Theater. We were seated immediately after we arrived with no reservation around 5:45. Our waiter was prompt and gracious. The food was delicious and the prices were just right. The food was definitely made from scratch with lots of love. The restaurant was packed by the time we paid our bill- and never was our wonderful waiter inattentive. We had an absolutely lovely dinner, and we were so close to the show venue. Real Italian, real quality in a very quaint section of MIA.

Amazing meal! Delicious and fabulous chicken parmigiana! So appreciate them squeezing me in on a super busy Friday night. Also, please note, I like my chicken parmigiana without sauce, so this was modified per my request. Try it-you’ll love it!

Amazing Italian Experience in the Heart of Miami I had an incredible experience at Ristorante Fratelli Milano. The food was authentic, flavorful, and beautifully presented — every dish tasted like it came straight from Italy. The service was attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere felt warm and elegant at the same time. I especially recommend trying their homemade pasta and desserts — absolutely top-notch! Perfect spot whether you’re dining solo or with company. Definitely one of the best Italian restaurants in downtown Miami. I’ll be coming back soon!

We just had another wonderful meal at Fratelli Milano. The food is always perfect, the service is gracious and friendly. Whenever we have the opportunity to be in Miami, this is our go to restaurant. It feels like being with family. Everyone is friendly and we never feel rushed. Just love it. You need to experience the food and the comfortable yet classy "vibe." It's like coming home each time. This restaurant was on Hyatt Regency list of downtown restaurants. It's great! Terrific service. I had a special of the day Red Snapper Picatta which was perfect. We shared Tiramasu for dessert, also perfect. Great inexpensive wine selection. We almost went back next night!

Quality of food only exceeded by service. Amazing meal of ravioli Lobster. Wife had sea bass. Both were incredible only followed up by a more incredible dessert. Food tasted fresh, melted in our mouths, and we wanted more but there was no more room. Just amazing!

The food is perfectly delicious and the service by Betiana was amazing! We visited the restaurant day after day and she even remembered the wine that we had. (I recommend the Malbec if you like red😉) Yesterday I tried the caprese salad which was tasty and refreshing and for main course the pear and cheese filled pasta in sage sauce - it was extremely delicious. My friend had the seafood pasta and enjoyed it very much. Today we had the skirt steak and the salmon and chocolate lava cake for desert, everything was great. No doubt I'll back on my next visit to Miami😊

One of the few dinner spots in this part of downtown. The settings are very basic but the food is the real star here. I ordered a branzino with artichoke, brocoli, baby zuchhini in a wine/tomato sauce. Felt super fresh without artificial flavors or overbearing seasoning. Good wines considering the price. The family food as it should be!

This is one of the best italians restaurants you can visit around downtown Miami. Great food, fresh ingredients, homemade style, awesome service and great ambiance! A Must go while in Miami!
