Breakfast at Roasters and Toasters when in Miami is a must. Amazing omelettes - unless you are extremely hungry you need to share - and the nova with bagels is out of this world. Good service.

Try the corned beef, I didn't even order it lean and it was the leanest corned beef I've ever seen. And the wait staff, so attentive and fast. Also, try an order of potato pancakes, they are half-dollar sized and delicious.

A nice deli place in the south Miami area. Breakfast is good but sorry over priced for the portions. It's is a definite return, but maybe in the next economic up turn.

I was in town for a conference nearby and was tired of the same hotel breakfast, so I walked here. The breakfast was amazing. I had 2 eggs, 2 French toast, and bacon. Everything was delicious. I would eat here again.

Roasters and Toasters calls itself a NY style deli. That is usually characterized by the size of its portions - particularly meat sandwiches. And they are huge but also very good quality. I will often get an omelet and take home half for that night’s supper. The food is consistently good and very nice service.

Whether u are in the one on us1 or the one in Pinecrest this restaurant is WAY OVER PRICED! In Pinecrest this Sunday AM the place was empty. Only about 4 tables full. The food is OK but certainly not worth the price. My eggs Benedict were almost cold and eggs were not done as I had ordered. Notably nothing special. Restaurant charges for everything. Ie: weekend breakfast special with an extra charge of $2.75 for a rather small cup of coffee. All the empty tables should have been a clue not to go in but we did. Never again. If u want deli go down the road a little to “Lots of lox”. Much better.

If you enjoy good food and value and portions this is the place for you! The omelets are huge enough to share...as are pretty much everything else. You pay more but get what you pay for. It can be noisy and crowded during busy mornings. Same for lunch some days.

A real NY styled Deli. You can’t go away hungry. Great friendly service with a huge menu. Breakfast all day. Omelette, Nova, Matzoh Brie, Cheese Blintzes, and breakfast sandwiches. Bagels and your choice of muffins along with Smoke-fish. Sandwiches include Egg Salad, Tuna, BLT, Turkey Club, Reuben, Ham and Turkey. Wraps are available along with Quesadillas, Pasta and Meatloaf. Burgers are tasty and so are the soups. Yes they have NY Cheesecake for sure. You can’t go away hungry. Ever.

We visited Roasters & Toasters three times on a recent Miami visit. The food -- measured by extensive experience with Jewish institutions in NY like Katz's, Stage and Carnegie -- is as good or better. From bagels & lox, matzo ball soup, chopped liver, pastrami and about a dozen other choices on these visits, we could find only superlatives. The best bagels, too. On the other hand, the rye bread was a star less than our expectations but still much better than the choices at home. And, oh, the kosher dills! We'd kill for a deli this good at home. The sole reason to deny it five stars is the aging location -- tables too small, too close together, crowded & noisy. Like Manhattan! And, not cheap. Roasters knows it's good and demands high coin for your eating pleasure.

We frequent this place when in Miami the eggs and bagels are great and the French toast is exceptional. I love the coffee and the service!

Five of us visited based on events this place has catered elsewhere. The wait was too long, even with a few open tables. They refused to sit us other than in a table for four so we were tight. Our order apparently got lost, took a long time and came out wrong. The food is not worth writing about and the service is atrocious; they could not care less about our wait or what we had ordered. After almost two hours we left, some of us with our food in to go containers, not having eaten and wishing we had gone anywhere else.

Now this is a deli! We live in the keys but have made special trips north to visit and eat at Roasters and Toasters. We originally found it ,back when it was located across from the Falls Mall. Back then Ivan was a server. It is the best Deli. Daily specials are always great. The half sandwich and bowl of soup is a fantastic value. Never disappointed and always full when we leave. Long time employees, many customers, fair prices, fantastic deli foods. What else do you need to judge a restaurant?

Usually go for early breakfast, it gets packed pretty quick on the weekend but service is good and fast. The plates are huge. The have fantastic french toast, many variables with nutella and the type of bread challah as an option. Unlimited coffee

Roasters and Toasters is a great New York style deli. All omelettes are 3 eggs and Hughes. Try the onions and lox. I had a corned beef sandwich with a potato kinish. Don’t miss this place for a great lunch.

We work in Pinecrest and our office orders from Roasters and Toasters daily. My favorite is the Cobb Salad can seriously feed 3-4p. Their Tuna melt is to die for and a very large serving. We have also tried their soups, burgers, fries, coffee, desserts. The best part is they are CONSISTENT. Always a pleasure we love over at the Dermatology Office. Thanks for feeding us for so many years.

I love the US1 Dadeland location. This place has great deli food and give complimentary pickles and yummy cole slaw. I went to the Miami Beach location once thinking I would not be disappointed and I was wrong. The service and food was not the same. They close at 3pm.

I went to Roasters N' Toasters for the first time on Saturday. It was packed so that was a good sign. I had an omelet with spinach and nova. The omelet was delicious as it was large and came with oatmeal (there are other sides to choose from) and a whole grain bagel. It was extremely filling to say the least. Moreover, our servers Mariam and Jinette were both kind and courteous. Excellent value for the money as well. Highly recommended!!!

This is the real thing. My wife and I went after a meeting. It was near noon and while the place was busy it was not too busy. We split a large sandwich, each had a cup of coffee but the sides of Cole slaw and a pickle. While not cheap the food was quality and worth the expense. This is the real thing.

Always try to stop here when in Miami for my Bagels and Lox, smoked salmon is terrific. Staff brings you what ever you need.

Service was terrible. Took forever to take our order and messed it up twice. The food wasn't anything to write home about. Soup tasted like it was from a can and was barely warm. Sandwich was okay, nothing out of this world. Portions are big, but so are the prices. Paid 38$ for two soup and sandwich combinations and I left feeling ripped off

Long time fav for south miamians. Great omlettes, salads, deli fare, great bagels and breakfast fare. Used to be OJ's favorite morning haunt. Still a big winner. Parking at a premium at prime time...well worth the circling. Service "happily hectic". Price is typical. Not conducive for business meetings except informal.......

Come here for breakfast and lunch. The breakfast is awesome. Bagels are fresh. A real neighborhood place that serves up great food. The atmosphere is lively. Service is great. Smile more.

The good quality of the food here is been shadow by the treat, arrogance, lack of education of the attendants. Today in the morning there were 4 girls attending the counter and none of them was in tune with clients. All orders late, misplace, and wrong. The delay in serving is like we the customers don't have to go to work is unreal. I left 0 tips and one girl got angry. SHAME ON THE OWNER THAT IS NOT THERE TO SEE HOW TERRIBLE THIS SERVICE IS TURNING BY HAVING UNEDUCATED PEOPLE WORKIN. VERY ARROGANTS.

We went In I was going to order corn beef hash till I saw the fish platter for breakfast. Nova, Creamed Herring, and Whitefish ,two bagels, platter of cucumbers slice very thin, tomatoes, red onions, olives ,capers, cream cheese, and lettuce not including the great coleslaw and kosher pickles. It was like a smorgasbord. top quality of fish and bagels. I thought I was eating in top Deli in New York. The Staff(older staff) bent over backwards to keep us happy. Great coffee too.

Great menu selection, fast service, delicious and abundant quantity. Brought a friend from California to this little gem of a Deli tucked away in a strip mall in S Miami. I had a Nova Platter with an Everything Bagel; and she had the Pastrami Sandwich.

Very busy restaurant with friendly staff and good service. Huge menu for all times of day eating and very large portions. There were a log of doggy bags leaving the restaurant. Constant refilling of coffee cups during breakfast. Prices very reasonable. Lots of parking available in this strip mall location.

We've been there quite a few times. We always enjoy our breakfasts. Staffs are very friendly and attentive. The food taste great and the portions are big. The price very reasonable. If you're in Miami you should definitely check them out. We are becoming regulars at that place. Highly recommend 👌

Everything looked good, but my omelet and the bacon burger we order was great! Food came quickly and service was friendly

Stopped by for breakfast, but how can you pass on a pastrami sandwich on rye with coleslaw and Russian dressing? The pastrami was lean, moist and delicious and served with sides half sour pickle, sour pickle and coleslaw. Our waitress, Maryiamm was the best, If you want a great deli meal, in a casual atmosphere, with great great service, this is the place.

This restaurant has been a favorite of locals forever. Prices are high but quality is great. Only open until 3 - so get there early. Omelets are gigantic and husband loves the Reubens.

My group wanted "a good deli" when visiting Miami area and thought this would be it. Staff was not the nicest and waitress forgot my husband's rueben! there were 7 of us, but even so, you don't "forget" someone's meal! My brisket was cold, overdone and fatty. Not exactly what I was looking for in a good "jewish deli". Waitress also "examined" table when I asked for silverware that I hadn't received! They didn't have any black and whites and that person was unpleasant as well. Was definitely not impressed and would not return. Prices on the higher deli side.

You will have a wait on weekends but well worth it. Great NY style deli with cole slaw and two types of pickles served free once you order. I like the hot pastrami that you can order on a toasted bagel if you wish. Sizeable portions. The breakfast fare looks great and the one pasta dish (next table had it) was enormous. Basic bare bones deli and service was very good (without the NY attitude).

This is the kind of place where you get a hot Pastrami or corned beef on rye that is 3 inches thick and if you're really hungry you can get it bigger than that. And the meats are cooked on premises and carved to order. Great breakfast food too. Complimentary bowls of cold creamy coleslaw and crisp half sour pickles on the table while you wait for your order. Deserts are amazing too. Eat it there or get it to go. But if you want to eat there, go before 12 noon or after like 1 or 1:30. No reservations, limited seating and packed for lunch every day. I love this place.

Best french toast in south florida. Cant go wrong with nutella. Come hungry! Large portions. Always packed but moves quick!!

Roasters is a traditional New York style deli. Its also the place most of the locals like to go for brunch on Saturday or Sunday. The portions are big, and the food is good. I must admit I always ask for Matzoh ball soup from there when I catch a cold.

I always get a BLT on a bagel and it was delicious. My husband got a bacon, egg, and cheese he said it was good but really soggy. I can't understand how my bagel was about $10 when I'm from NY and I can't get the same delicious bagel for $6-8. Maybe it's the area but wow.

The food is classic upscale deli food. I usually gave the nova lox and smoked whitefish platter. As a NYC ex-pat , the food is as good as it gets. Wait times vary but worth the wait.

I'm reading all these wonderful reviews and questioning my own experience. After careful review, I can still confirm that I know what good pastrami is and what tainted pastrami is. I ordered $70+ in take home items including 1 lb each of pastrami and corned beef. It was brought to the counter wrapped in wax paper, covered with white butcher wrap and sealed in plastic bags, placed with the other items and then bagged. It's a 10 minute drive home. I opened the corned beef, smelled and tasted fine, separated it into 4 baggies - 3 to freeze and 1 to refrigerate. I opened the pastrami and nearly fell over from the stench. Upon close examination I noticed the telltale golden yellow color when meat starts to turn. The garbage can received $20 worth of pastrami. I know, I know. I should have returned it. Well, as long as I'm shoulding - IT SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN SOLD OR SERVED. After thinking it through I am convinced the meat slicer figured he could get rid of the bad stuff with a take out order. I'm sure this will be denied and then I ask how on earth could this man not smell the rancid meat? Obviously, this is was a rare occurrence based on so many positive reviews. But, they will never have an opportunity to serve me again. I'm happy for the others that their visits were better than mine. I am not suggesting others should avoid this place, only insist on tasting what you are purchasing. I wish I had.

The food is excellent. Great portions and great presentation. The only bad experience I had was with our waitress. Her customer service skills where very poor. I asked her what muffins or pastries they had and she proceeded to tell me that i could get up and look myself on the bakery display that they had, restaurant was full with a lot of people around the bakery area and i did not want to wait for all those people to place their orders. She then asked me if I had a disability that I could not get up and walk. I thought that comment was rude. I don't think I will be visiting this restaurant again.

Yesterday, I dined with my mom, sister, and a couple of friends that are moving out of the area. This was my first visit to Roasters & Toasters. The tuna cranberry wrap was delicious along with the garlic dill pickle!

I come back here all the time for the great food and service! What I like a lot is the portion size of the omelettes, big enough to share with another person. A must try is the whole wheat banana nut French toast, it's delicious!!

Easy to order online and you can save 10% by using the code roasters 10. Orders are always ready on time and staff very friendly. Amazing cobb salad which is really enough for two people! And they have a rewards program you can join so every little helps!

Come early because the wait is long and for good reason. The portions are huge and the food is amazing! Have their breakfast! They take Jewish deli food to the next level! The kitchen sink omlete is insane!

Went to the original on Kendall Av. The service was prompt and friendly. The food very good and abundant! Split the food! Very good prices! Loved the Blintzes and the Chala bread French toast! Two blocks away from the Marriott and Courtyard Dadeland. Fantastic! Great way to start off the year!

Been here a ton over the years in all the locations. Today was terrible service. Coffee was awful, asked for a new cup, never got it. Ordered a small avocado toast, thought that was what I got, only to get the check to find out they charged for the large. Ordered steak fries, got skinny. Now I sit and wait for them to bring back the check so I can pay it, between waiting for them to come over so I could let them know the errors and waiting to pay the bill it has been 15 minutes- you would think they would went to turn the table given the line outside... Roasters n Toasters I miss the way you cared for your customers. Come back to us!

This is a stand by that we often go to. And it’s always solid. Giant portions. I love the turkey blt. Pastrami also good. Soups are delicious.

The food is very good, great quality good size dishes to share , fresh coffee excellent service . Every time I go there is better and better, and when i order over the phone they are very efcient and have my order ready soon.

Our family truly enjoys the food here. typical new York style deli with all of the great food you would expect in a deli . and the blintzes are worth the calories for a special desert.

Ate here for breakfast twice. Ordered the fish platter for two. Always so delicious and you feel like you traveled back 40 years with the decor. Old school deli at its finest. Kids pancakes and salami and eggs were great. Huge portions. The service is pretty good. If they are busy wait the wait, its worth it.

We had a favorite deli in Denver that we ate at for years. Since moving to Florida we struggled to find a replacement. We finally found it in Roasters' n Toasters. The Pastrami sandwich was melt in your mouth, over the top delish. Our only regret is that they don't deliver to the Keys 😊

I lived for ten years in the South Miami area so this place is a frequen location for your Real American Breakfast. No surprises, omelletttes are great, potatos and ham steaks are the best. Servings are generous so be ready. Coffe and pastries are good. We enjoyed this neighborhood place for years and keep enjoying every time we go back to Miami

My wife and I visit this restaurant nearly every day we stay in Miami Beach. We usually stay in mid-beach, at the Eden Roc or close by, and we take a swim each afternoon, and then walk down to the corner, cross the bridge and walk a few blocks to this great restaurant. We were in Miami Beach last late September through early October, and we literally went to lunch here every single day. The Corned Beef is outstanding, and the Lox and Bagel is soft and delectable. We also love the staff there, who are very friendly and fun. The service is excellent, and no matter what you order, you're sure to be pleased. On the day of are departure last October, we went to Roaster's 'n Toasters for lunch, but also brought back food for the plane trip. We grabbed several sandwiches, and two halves of them made it all the way to our refrigerator to be enjoyed back home in Chicago. This place has changed hands and names over the years we've been coming here, but the food quality and service has remained consistent. A treat to visit and experience.

Everything is good here... a real authentic deli...bagels, lox, nova, whitefish, pastrami, corned beef, matzo ball soup, and even dishes that aren't so Jewish!!!

Best breakfast in a long time. Great quality and service. More than any one person can eat by themself.

Very good food and service with an enjoyable feel of a New York breakfast deli. It's always nice to get quality food with a mom n pop type place. I'd recommend it

Stopped in for lunch while in town. Had a great tasting turkey sandwich on fresh rye bread and chicken noodle soup. Friendly staff.

We had a recent craving for NY style deli and visited again. The pastrami sandwich is awesome. The salads are fresh and massive. Highly recommend anytime

Really nice hamburger place, nice salads and deserts, perfect regular place to eat in the middle of posh restaurants. Very good value for money. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The portions are big and very tasteful. just the right place for a quick lunch in Miami beach.

very good New York style deli with huge portions and tasty meats with super service. went to this one due to proximity to the condo. another good one in south beach, but I'm certain the food's the same

First time there. Visiting from Long Island. Fresh food. I loved my tuna salad platter. Ana, my waitress was attentive and very personable. Next visit will return with my friends!

This used to be one of my favorite places for breakfast bagels matzoh soup but I think they sold it and now it’s just mediocre for instance a bagel with salmon cream cheese used to be the best there now the salmon cream cheese is not salmon cream cheese it Is small salmon pieces with mayo disgusting won’t be fooled again

Just finished breakfast there for the second day in a row. Their weekday specials are terrific. The regular menu too. This morning I had two giant pancakes, what they said were two eggs, I think it was more like four, with a huge serving of bacon! Generous portions and delicious. Good service without being overbearing. And by the way, real New York bagels!

I have been going to Roasters 'n Toasters every time I visit Miami. I was there again this morning (7th May). It was as good as ever. The nova and bagel is my favourite. The omelettes are very fluffy and one needs to share, they are so big. The service is friendly and efficient. The only drawback is the coffee, but again this is America : strong, good quality coffee is almost an unknown entity.

WE stop in to get something to eat. Right when we sat down, we were GREETED LIKE MOVIE STARS by the manager - so over the top welcome. It was our first time there, AMAZING NEW YORK STYLE FOOD, GREAT PORTION SIZE AND WELCOMING STAFF. AMAZING!

I was encouraged to visit here by a new offer from American Express to support small businesses. Save five dollars on any order over $10 right now. I ordered a Cobb salad online it was ready within 20 minutes and it was absolutely fantastic. Produce is fresh, avocado was amazing, and the salad is big enough for two meals. Very impressed!!

The service, food and value for money was excellent. The lady that served us was so very welcoming and informative and knowledgeable

So glad I found this place! Parking sucks but once you get inside and to your table they bring the best coleslaw and real half sour pickles that make it all better. The menu covers everything from breakfast to sandwiches, to this absolutely amazing macaroni & cheeseburger with bacon & sautéed onions special. I felt like I was back in NY at Katz while I ate my delish pastrami & cornbeef on seedless rye. Take a desert to go, super yummy. The servers are very plesant, helpful, speak & understand English (which was a huge plus for me) They were able to make a pretty miserable pregnant lady very happy today. I'll be back soon & you should most def try them out! Enjoy :)

If you like the feel of an old Jewish deli with mile high tongue sandwiches, bagels and lox, matzoh ball soup and half-sour pickles, then this is the place for you. It is noisy and crowded so get there early. But the service is good and the food is excellent. Prices are about average for Miami. Expect to pay $10-12 for a plate--but it will be more than enough to fill you up.The menu is extensive and they have soups, salads, breakfast foods all day, sandwiches, and plates with things such as cabbage rolls. They bring slaw (wonderful!) and half sour pickles to the table when you sit down. What is lacks in atmosphere it makes up for in the food. There is also a small take out area with bagels and cookies/desserts. Another spot we make a point to visit when in Miami.

Had matzo ball soup and pastrami sandwich. Best I have found in Miami, nothing is as good as NY Deli

My family has eaten here many times in the past. Usually waiting six months before going back because we always say- "yea the food is good, but" the servings (lunch)are way over the top & we usually only eat about half of the sandwich/meal. So we end up throwing away the leftovers. Yes, the servers have all been working there along time & if you are not a regular, you will see that they will get served the slaw & pickles first as well as their meal before others. But, I'm sure those "regulars" that are receiving that special treatment are generous tippers. My advise to other customers that are in that situation, just bite your lip, sit back & you will be served. Who knows, maybe that regular called their order in advance!

I have visited the old location many times, and thought it would be nice to try the new one. I was lucky to get a good parking space. this new location is open, airy spacious with lots of light, with comfortable seating. The dinner shift is also observed( a nice idea the older location might also try). I enjoyed my food , which was plentiful and tasty. My guest had a few issues with the food, which were immediately corrected. the manager and waitstaff were friendly and efficient. the exhibited excellent teamwork.

We have eaten at roasters and toasters for many years. We had a very nice server and the food was excellent as usual. While we were enjoying coffee at the end of our meal we had a very unfortunate experience with the manager. He came up to our table (we were a party of 6) and told us we needed to leave since he had another party waiting for our table. It was said in a very serious non joking tone. Needless to say we were actually speechless when he said this to us. We abruptly got up and left the restaurant. When we were outside and had a moment to realize that a manager kicked us out of the restaurant where we just paid $140 for the meal, we asked for the manager to come outside to address what just happened. He stummeled over his works and offered a half sincere apology. In my previous job I had worked in the restaurant business for several years and as I customer I have eaten at hundreds of restaurants both upscale and simple eateries. Never in our lives have we EVER been asked to leave a restaurant to accommodate another table waiting. If this an acceptable practice for Roasters and Toasters then shame on you. The only positive out of this whole experience is that my husband will be able to use it as an example of poor management skills in his leadership classes at MDC.

Have eaten here 3 times, and I have found the food to be consistently excellent and the service always friendly, but professional. The place is always crowded, but the staff clears tables very quickly, so the tables turn rapidly. ( but I have never felt rushed ). Cole Slaw and pickles are quickly brought to your table while you wait for your delicious pastrami, corned beef, brisket, etc. I have eaten at renowned delis across the country, and I would stack this deli against any of them.

R.N'.T has been around along time in South Miami-Dade. They first started in the area that use to be called the Suniland area (Now Pinecrest) in the mall on US 1 and SW 112th St. and later moved to their current location. Their food is great and the portions are "Huge". Unless you are starving, you will always have leftovers. They have every type of Deli food there is and then some. If you want great Deli food, this is the place to go. R.N'.T is open for Breakfast and Lunch only. Get there early because, it gets packed or go after 1:30.

I asked my friend, who lived in NYC, where the best deli in town was and this is where he took me to. I am glad I got to try R ‘n T a few times during my visit. The atmosphere was a typical deli. The place was packed even though it was 1:30PM. It took about 10 minutes to seat us. The staff were fast, efficient, and cracking jokes with us. I have had the pleasure of eating here on my other visits to Miami Beach. This time I ordered the split pea soup and combination Rueben sandwich. The whole meal was truly delicious. The coleslaw and pickles added to the enjoyment of the meal. I have had the chicken soup and salads on other visits and have always been impressed with the taste and quality of food I have received. I thought lunch was a little bit on the expensive side for 2, but it might be the norm for Miami Beach. I have been to a few NYC delis and though I am not an expert R ‘n T compares to what I have had before.

We had breakfast here recently. We ordered the challa french toast (HUGE!!), omelet, turkey sausage, bagels, nova salmon platter. Everything was super fresh, well prepared, and sumptuous. Go with a big appetite and you will not be disappointed!

Enjoy coming here on the weekend with family but must have a huge appetite since portions are unbelievable. Probably the best lox n bagels found in our neighborhood. Pancakes and waffles are delicious and could feed at least two people. Sandwiches are filled to capacity with top notch corn beef and other wonderful meats. They serve pickles to die for and the atmosphere reminds me very much of a NYC deli. Nice experience!

Don't be scared off by the line out the front door around breakfast time - it moves quickly and is your confirmation that quality here is as high as ever. the portions are huge but quality is high. Opt for any traditional deli fare like lox or corned beef, or just come for the wonderfully flavorful omelets. This is old world at its best.

Excellent food and service. our server , YaYa was amzing along with the entire staff was very professional. Best Deli South Of New York

Exceptional Service at a solid deli with amazing service. The sever was exceptional and attentive. The food was outstanding. The prices are higher than most delis, but it’s worth every penny.

Was hungry for lunch and decided to try Roasters - only previous experience was very good bagel and cream cheese purchases couple of years back. Not a fancy place, but just good New York Style deli with all of the normal fare- pastrami, corned beef , brisket on rye, matzoh ball soup and great potato salad and cold slaw and of course great pickles. I opted for the 1/2 pastrami (lean cut) on rye and matzoh ball soup. Also ordered Dr Brown Cream Soda to complete the lunch. Everything was great- So much meat on the 1/2 sandwich that I requested another slice of rye and waitress gladly supplied it. I perused their dinner menu and it looked pretty awesome as well. If you are in the mood for NY Style deli in South Miami/Dadeland area, go here.

If you are yearning for breakfast late in the day, or have a group who don't care about a lot of atmosphere but want salad, sandwiches, soup and heartier fare, then this could be the place for you. The dishes are traditionally prepared, the service abrupt but efficient, and the food is solidly prepared with ample portions.

Recently stopped here after a trade show at the Miami Convention center because we were looking for a good Jewish deli. Food was horrible. I ordered a beef brisket sandwich on rye. It was flavorless. I also had a bowl of pea soup, which looked like it had been sitting around for awhile. My husband ordered a pastrami sandwich. The pastrami was stringy and tough. While we were eating, someone was working on an electric light near the entrance, and when he opened up the ceiling panel exclaimed rather loudly "You should see the roach ***t up here!" The girl at the front counter then threw a package of bagels at him and ran to hide behind the counter. Completely bizarre experience with very bad food and very bad staff members. I will be reporting this to the food inspector.

Delicious Food, Friendly Staff, Huge Portions of food! The Challah French Toast is to die for! Highly Recommended Place.to Eat! GetSome!!

Went here for breeakfast and of course there was a long wait to eat. Also, the take out at the counter was out of control. We finally sat about 35 minutes later and teh food was very good.

One of Miami's most popular places. Some of the best "Jewish" food in town. This restaurant and the parking lot are always crowded. When you taste the food, which has huge proportions, receive the excellent service they give, you won't wonder why it's packed.

The restaurant is clean and the wait was short. The food was tasty and the portions are generous. The waitress was super nice and very attentive. Will recommend.

Love this place! Staff is caring, friendly and efficient. From our server Myriam to the support staff , Janet! The deli food is delicious. The sandwiches are stacked high and the meat is tender and delicious. And of course can’t beat the coleslaw and pickle sides.

Just finish having breakfast at this place. Service was ok but not attentive, cleanliness is not optimal. I ordered egg white omelette with onions and peppers, whole wheat toast and tomatoes. My friend ordered the same with regular eggs and additional sausages. When the food arrived almost fifteen minutes later, I had egg white omelette with sausages. The omelette on my friend's plate was so yellow that it looked as if it was made with turmeric or food colorant. I returned mine (I do not eat meat) and in another 10 minutes or so I got extremely overcooked egg whites scrambled with no toast, no butter or cream cheese and no fork. We paid $30.00, including tip. The coffee was good. I guess we will be trying other places around the neighborhood for breakfast.

We had heard great things about Roasters and Toasters and wanted to visit it while we were in Miami. But they close at 3:30. We went to the little deli next to Roasters and Toasters, that is supposed to serve the same cuisine and be the night time version of R and T. It was terrible. My wife got the corned beef sandwich and it was cut wrong, with the grain which made it very stringy and that just started the bad comments. The fries were okay, but they were dark, indicating old dirty oil in which there were fried. If you want to go to Roasters and Toasters, but find out it is closed, don't go to the "after hours" deli or you will get after hours food and service.

My name is Kenneth Karger and my girlfriend is Robin Feldman. We have been coming to Roasters and Toasters several times every week for the past year and enjoy the great food and service at a reasonable price. We especially enjoy the fantastic server, Ivan, as well as workers behind the counter Jona and Elmer. They have a great group of staff and managers and we highly recommend you consider dropping bye! I made an earlier comment on 10/31/2020 that was based on erroneous information and subsequently received clarity that improvements are continuously been made by management! Management in fact are supporting all staff, long term workers as well as new workers, and have a good relationship between management and staff!

Prepare to eat well at this place! The plates are huge and delicious! We order the salmon scramble egg dish and one plate was plenty for two people. This was our first visit to the place and again we were very pleased with the food and the service. We'll definitely return to try other dishes from the menu.

The food is simply excellent if you want a deli style restaurant. Omelets are outstanding...but even better is the quality of the smoked salmon and sable carp. Service is excellent and cordial. The very best in the area.

Came here for lunch today - we both had wraps which didn't quite work. Mine was tilapia which came in a spinach wrap that was a little dry. It had a side of tartare sauce and came with greens and the fish was tasty but the flavors just didn't quite go together with the wrap. My friend had a chicken salad and cranberry wrap - it also was so-so. Meals came with coleslaw and pickles (they were tasty and crunchy) but I don't think I would come back here. Service was good but food nothing special.

Slow slow slow. Counter help always a disaster. Text messages arrived saying your order is ready but then 45 minutes later, they still could not have the order ready

great food , great service.....I have eaten here many times. It has always been clean with great food.

Omg what a wonderful friendly & great service restaurant/cafe. Food was amazing, service was brilliant and just an all round perfect place for breakie. They serve lunches and dinners too with a wide variety of food.

So this is clearly a much-loved local diner with a high proportion of regulars welcomed by the waiting staff like long-lost friends. As a result if was easy to stick out at tourists, but I don't think that was why our experience was ultimately a disappointing one. Certainly our waitress was friendly enough with us. As expected, the menu contains all the usual diner staples - plenty of eggs, bacon and pancakes as well as a nod to healthy eating with a granola option. What was unexpected was just how bland the food was - my omelette with cheese, mushrooms and peppers tasted of nothing much and my wife's pancakes were in truth large discs of stodge (and not in a good way). We left full yes, but satisfied know.

A friend recommended the place for their omelettes. I ordered the Kitchen Sink omelette ($15) and it was HUGE! 3 people could share and be full. 1/2 order of French Toast was also HUGE. Everything was delicious and fresh. Highly recommend.

After trying several delis in the South Miami area, my wife and I were very disappointed until we had the pleasure of going to Roasters & Toasters. The service was excellent and, most importantly, the food was excellent. I had the sable on a toasted sesame bagel and my wife had eggs that were cooked perfectly.

The service is among the best in Miami. Yes, it's casual, and it's breakfast. But, these ladies, the excellent servers, are superb! The food is excellent, the coffee is terrific, but it is the warm and friendly service that is so welcomed. You will not find other breakfast spots with the friendly and helpful ladies at Roasters! Can't wait to go back!!

Got my bagel fix this morning! Very reasonable prices. Omelets are big enough for two! Make sure to upgrade to their "everything" bagel. We never miss Roasters when in Miami. It's our favorite place for breakfast. Special thank you to server, Debbie S. for providing outstanding service!

I have eaten here a lot of times. It's an old-fashioned-type deli place. The food is good and PLENTIFUL. Prices are reasonable and the bagels are fantastic. I have only had breakfast (usually eggs), so that's all I can speak for - all good. The table service is good, despite it always being crowded.

My experience was exceptional I met Chef Pedro he prepared the best fritta ever at Miami Garden Store

Every time I'm in Coconut Grove I eat here at this restaurant. I've tried different foods here. I love their challah bread and cinnamon raisin bagels. I usually take them back home with me. Last visit I had the French toast, eggs, and a side of pastrami for breakfast. It was great. Other times I get pastrami and corn beef sandwich. They have a great selection of sweets as well.

The service was excellent. I selected Mushroom & Spinach Omelet, which included bagel, cream cheese & home fries. Food was a lot, even after sharing my husband had left over to take home. Food was fresh and tasted really good, so was the coffee.

It had been a few years since I had been at this restaurant. I was glad that it was as good still as I remembered. I was there for breakfast the and as always I couldn't eat it all. The coffee excellent as always so was the service. I'll have to come back for lunch.

Stopped by twice while recently staying in the area. Staff was super friendly, counter (to-go) service was quick despite being very busy and bagels were great! Coffee could have been a little hotter but that's just me.

My boyfriend and I decided to try out Roasters 'N Toasters for lunch on a Sunday and it was excellent! There was about a half hour wait, but it was well worth it. What's unique about the place is that there is coffee at the front of the restaurant for you to enjoy while you wait. The restaurant also has a bakery so you don't want to eat there you can simply buy bagels and other goodies to go. Once we sat down, a waiter came immediately to the table to take down our order. I ordered the tarragon chicken wrap and my boyfriend ordered the turkey club, which were both awesome. Each sandwich and wrap comes with the house coleslaw and a pickle, which is a perfect combination. My boyfriend ordered french fries, which we were able to share because the serving was so big. What I liked most about this restaurant (besides the food of course) was the friendly staff and excellent service. I observed that the wait staff greeted regular customers and engaged in light conversation and treated new customers like us in the same manner. This was so refreshing to experience this because Miami is not the nicest place to live in. Thank you Roasters 'N Toasters! We will be back soon!

Miami was once a great city for Deli, not NYC but close. Then the Wolfie's delis closed. But there are still several good and authentic Jewish delicatessens in the city and this is one (well three -- there is one up in Sunny Isles Beach, one in Mid Beach and one south of the airport near Kendal on US 1). We stopped for lunch at the one on US 1 while driving from the airport down to the Florida Keys, and also on the way back. Great selection of real bagels (not those puffy things so common today), smoked fish, including to-order hand sliced Nova and Lox, the soups and sandwiches you'd expect, magnificent Latkes. The pastrami on rye is worth a trip by itself. They have a carry out counter where everything is available as well. Not fancy, but when was a deli meant to be fancy? Expect to wait 20-30 minutes for a table at a busy time (we were there on Saturday, both times, so it was busy). Trust me, if you like deli, you'll like this place.

One of my all time favorite Delicatessens. I have yet to have a bad meal here after many years of patronage and their excellent service. Try the brisket and or corned beef!

Terrific little deli! Had a combo Reuben, no dressing, and the skinny fries. Really good and the fries were fresh, hot and crispy. I do wish the meat had been hand-sliced, but it was tasty. Loved being surrounded by all the alte kakers who were busily kvetching about EVERYTHING!

If you are in the neighborhood for breakfast time, please do not miss the opportunity to visit this place. Perhaps its facilities are not lavish or flashy, it's in an old and modest commercial plaza on the edge of US1 at Dadeland, but they offer a memorable breakfast with unbeatable customer service. Try to visit it on the weekend to enjoy their eggs benedict, but if you do any other day, have no doubt that any dish on their menu will leave you fully satisfied and desiring to return here.

Went to roasters ‘n toasters because I saw good reviews online. When we got there it was about a 20 minute wait and I was fine with it as I was hungry and read good things! We sat down and a busboy grabbed us drinks and then we waited. Finally a woman walked by and said she would be right back. Came back and asked what we wanted. I ordered potato pancakes and the brisket grilled cheese. My boyfriend ordered the lox and onion scramble. He was very surprised with the amount of eggs and lox he got! He really liked his meal! It was also served with homefries and a bagel. Our server forgot the bagel until I had to stop her to remind her about it. My Brisket grilled cheese was okay at best. The brisket was really dry and really had no flavor. My potato pancakes were just okay as well, again really no flavor to them. Service was not that impressive, our server never checked on us and just dropped the bill off when she saw that we were done. I was unimpressed as all the reviews I had read were so good!

Traditional "New York Style" deli in the heart of Miami. Definitely fills a niche for those yearning for a good pickle, dish of yummy cole slaw, deli sandwich or fish/bagel and lox platter. Sandwiches are quite large as are the salads and platters. Good service, too.

HUGE portions: so big that when it comes out and is put in front of you, you kind of lose your appetite. Service is awesome, atmosphere is awesome. Prices are crazy. $52 plus tip for three people for breakfast, with no frills.

Since the closing of Rascal House a decade ago we haven’t been able to find a good Jewish deli in the Miami area. Last we Roasters and Toasters on South Dixie Highway was recommended to us. Happy Days are here again! The sandwiches were large and tasty; the motza ball soup, superb. The service was also exce

Everything is just delicious and huge portions..Great smoked fish, salads, deli, and catering. We always go there for lunch and sunday breakfast with bagel, veggie cream cheese and Nova. I also love the 'cobb salad' with crispy pastrami instead of bacon. Enjoy!

A client suggested this location for a breakfast. It's off the beaten path, just slightly, for me, so they are not part of the usual "rotation" for breakfast meetings. That all changed as of this morning ... The location is fairly convenient, right off of US-1. Lots of parking, and the logistics are smooth. It's important to note that the service was sensational. My orders are a little quirky, and the waitress got it all perfectly. Wish I could remember her name, but will say that she was fantastic! Always available for a refill, and checked in often. The perfect touch ... This is a classic deli, with all the usual items on the menu. Will be going back soon!

I’m from South Florida but I’ve never had food this delicious and fresh. I’ve been to New York several times. Again, this place is delicious and fresh. Either I was really hungry or the chef had an amazing day - in any event, I won!!!!

Enjoyed a wonderful breakfast with attentive service. Delicious food with a great selection from breakfast to burgers. The portions are more than generous.

Great breakfast food. Quick service. Line was out the door but it was worth the wait. I had french toast stuffed with macadamia and bananas and home fries. Everything was fantastic. Bacon was average. Would definitely recommend and return.

Roasters has been around forever and is an institution in the South Dade/Pinecrest area. The food is excellent and the social scene is very active. Bagels, Nova, sandwiches, omelettes, etc...all delicious! Be careful, as there can be a timely wait for a table on the weekend. Ivan is my long-standing server of choice!

We are in Miami for my birthday and are going to different ethnic restaurants for each meal. We went to this NY style deli for breakfast and had a great meal - especially the rye toast.

In miami is not easy to find a good deli where you can get a delicious pastrami or Reuben sandwich, but here you do, not only delicious but huge!! You have to try them!!!

Roasters 'N Toasters' has a large menu that is sure to satisfy every taste bud. We visited for breakfast and it was delicious! We choose the lox and bagels. Bagels were good, and the lox were high quality. The platter included lettuce, tomatoes, onions and capers. Our server Lucita had such a warm personality, we felt like we were dining at our hometown diner. Service was well paced and efficient. Dining floor and restrooms were immaculate. Well worth the visit if you are in the Miami Beach area.

I had to wait, I tried it a year ago and it was very good. I took my family and the portions and quality reminded me of the Stage Deli in New York and many people doing a New York shtick, well worth the wait.

Went here with the girls for breakfast. The food is really good. we usually get the same waitress so the service is excellent but I have to admit the the food is very expensive

I have been several times for breakfast and the food is very good. Eggs Benedict is a must try. I also had a very unique but AMAZING dish called South of the Border. The staff is very friendly. For breakfast this is a great spot.

If you're looking for an outstanding breakfast, look no further. Fresh brewed coffee, great menu choices and attentive staff.

Went in search of a NY deli fix. This was good but not great. Service was very good and the place was crowded

Always good and busy! Sandwiches are huge and can be shared. Breakfasts are good. You will be taking a box home. Service is fast. Slaw and dills are served at every meal. Avoid weekends unless you come early.

We stopped here for breakfast on our way to the Keys. Excellent NY style bagels! At 9am, the line for seating was out the door, so we waited at the counter for take out. Service was a little disorganized with some employees seriously hustling and others moving slowly, but everyone was very nice and helpful. The bagels were fabulous. I had chive cream cheese on mine, which was full of big, hand-cut pieces of fresh... scallions? (not chives, but still yummy). I also took home a cinnamon roll the size of my head. I told them I'd be traveling, and they happily wrapped it up for me, so it was still soft and delicious when I got home 36 hours later... and again the next morning (two adults couldn't finish it in one sitting.) I suggest getting there early or ordering ahead for takeout. Their prices were a bit higher than I'd have normally paid ($20 for a bagel, orange juice and a giant cinnamon roll), but these are the best bagels I've had in a while, so I'd probably go back given the chance.

We stopped here not knowing anything about this place. I recommend it highly. Great food great food quality. Great service. Extensive menu. If you want something different and delicious... try the power breakfast. Avocado mixed greens tomatoes wonderful black olives feta cheese eggs of you choice and bagel of you choice. I really loved it! Please open one of these in key largo. You will mop it up

Excellent Deli. Please come early to get a table. It is a very busy place and even more so on weekends. Excellent matzo soup. Fantastic Sandwich Combo. They are very large portions. Good coffee, excellent service and the place is the type of NYC style Deli

I love their homemade corned beef hash and the everything bagel with lox cream cheese. Great portions and not overly expensive. The orange juice taste freshly squeezed.

The french toast here is awesome! We had take out and let me tell you I am hooked...I added strawberries, blueberries and bananas to mine. They have several options but this is my fav!! We also had a bagel with egg and bacon, really good since they have a variety of bagles to choose from. The other item we had was the nova bagel which was also delish! I have recommended this place to a lot of people.

We were on our way to Key West looking for a cup of coffee. Spotted this in a strip center and lucked into a parking spot right out front. Wound up having late breakfast of corned beef hash and my wife had fritatas that were good but the grits were outstanding. Nothing plain about them they were creamy and delicious! Real deli in Miami!

The food in all their restaurants is fresh and delicious. Owner came from Chicago many years ago and developed the brand with his now deceased Uncle. They brought the Jewish deli concept to Pinecrest and kept going throughout Miami. Every meal is a gem with a schmoozy staff; especially, on Miami Beach-41st St. Year rounders and seasonal guests are warmly remembered and welcomed by staff.

Very good service and excellent food. Give yourself extra time to check out their deli and bakery. This is a busy restaurant but I never felt rushed.

I ordered their Brisket sandwich on seedless rye with grilled onions & gravy on the side. It was big, tender and tasty. This was my first dinner there. I have had breakfast there on several occasions & stopped in to pickup bagels & whitefish salad, (or the tuna salad) both are good. Service is always good.

Fresh garlic pickles and great coleslaw as table condiments. ABSOLUTELY the BEST PASTRAMI sandwich I have ever eaten. I cannot believe I ATE THE WHOLE THING!!!!! My wife and her sister go there all the time now I AM HOOKED!!!! Everything we ate was excellent. Only open until 3:00pm. Breakfast salmon Nova was GREAT. Everything I saw going to the tables I would order.

This is a great traditional bagel spot Locals live coming here for breakfast and lunch I met a girl friend for coffee here I got a toasted sesame bagel and my my friend got a scrambled egg with peppers and ham bagel sandwich Everything was good and the atmosphere is dinner like Convenient location

Went in excited after reading online reviews. Major vacay disappointment sitting for 10 minutes in a non-busy restaurant with no service. We left & skip the good reviews & go where your money is wanted and people aren't allowed to lean on the wall & stare while people look for service.

First visit at my client's suggestion and was very pleased! Good food and reasonably priced. Very attentive wait staff.

Forget atmosphere. It's loud and crammed and uncomfortable, but the wait staff (we had three women wait on us in succession but all got everything right) are friendly and except for one out of our party of six got their meal out in a timely manner. It take a lot to impress a New Yorker when it comes to deli and I have to admit I wasn't impressed. But I wasn't disappointed either.

My wife and I have eaten here numerous times. This is without a doubt the best deli in Miami. The food is great - all the sandwiches are good size and delicious. The breakfasts are also good. I like that they still serve pickles - two types (love the half sour kosher dills) and cole slaw (yum). Place gets crowded and you will have to wait for a seat on weekends, but it is worth it. Enjoy!

Great Jewish Deli. Food is always fresh and delicious. They llet you share as some plates are very large. Pastrami to die for! Prices a little high.

Had a great bunless footlong hotdog! It reminded me of the 60's when I used to go to Wolfie's on Collins. I just couldn't believe that at 11:00am there was a line to get a table. Service was great. I would probably go more often now that I know how good it is!

New York deli I'm going to try. Inside is your basic deli set up but not like NYC if your from there. First they have a steamer box but open a pastrami from a bag like meat in your supermarket deli department not pepper crusted. It's like boar's head. You get deli pickles and the taste is off. Ordered a Dr Brown's Cel Ray soda and was told we don't have that! (You have to be kidding) They have two size sandwiches but it's very overpriced for what you get.

It is a bit expensive.

Been a while since we been here. We went for breakfast on the 4th of July. We were surprised there was no wait. We sat and ordered. The food was very good. The french toast are the best in town. Our server was beyond lost. No refills of the coffee. We had to ask other servers. When we asked for something it took him 10 minutes to bring and we had to remind him. We will be back hopefully with another server.

Went here for the 1st time. There was a long wait so I figured it would be good.We sat and the food was really good but very pricey. We could tell that there were many regulars there and that says a lot. Our waitres Nora was excellent!!!!

The food is very good, great quality good size dishes to share , fresh coffee excellent service . Every time I go there is better and better

I was really in the mood for good deli and the reviews seemed good. Once seated, I waited for 20 minutes, no one knew I hadn't ordered yet. My corned beef and pastrami sandwich was good but the meat wasn't warm and it was fatty. And the potato pancakes were hot and crispy but had no flavor at all.

Oh my gosh what great food for a reasonable price!! We ate here because we saw the reviews and LOVE NY deli style food! It was awesome! We went for lunch and had deli sandwiches and it reminded me of being back in NY! The free appetizer is FRESH Cole slaw and a ny style pickle-both great!! We actually went back the next day for nova lox bagel plate and it was delicious!!!! I am SO glad we found this little place in north Miami!!

We eat breakfast here often when we visit this area. The food is always good & plentiful. Two eggs come with hash browns, and toast. I also ordered sausage and it was just too much to eat. The glasses of juice are gigantic, but with a hefty price tag - $6. It is a small deli style restaurant - nothing fancy, but the service and the food are very good. Try it, you'll like it!

Went back here as we really missed a "deli" experience. Had a very attentive waitress who made us feel at home. We had the hot pastrami on rye and a Reuben. Both were overloaded with meat and i couldn't finish the Reuben. Other diners had ordered pasta and omelettes and their portions were HUGE. Their coleslaw is great. Hard to get into on on weekends and always busy at lunch. Best to go after 1:30 if you can. Closes at 3:30. Also have take out and great bagels and coffee.

Plates are so full that it can feed two. The food is fresh and fulfilling. The price is right and service was nice. The second time around was a perfect experience! No regrets :) Now cardio time ;)

My partner and I went for what we thought would be a quick breakfast/brunch on a busy Saturday. We arrived and seated ourselves (following the sign). Within a few moments our server appeared, and offered something to drink – so far so good. When she returned with the beverages, we ordered. My partner the Jewish Cuban – substitute corned beef for ham. He liked it. I order an egg white scramble with ham, mushroom, and grilled onions. As a side, I was offered oatmeal (a favorite of mine). After waiting a while I finally asked for my oatmeal and was told it usually comes out with the eggs. Two hot dishes coming out together? Oatmeal first, please. She obliged me. That was nice. The wait for the entrees was very long, And I know what you’re thinking, no they were not that busy. There were many open tables. I’m not going into the egg white omelet. Suffice it to say, it wasn’t “white” it was “yellow”. The Whole Wheat toast I ordered turned out to be Rye. All in all, not a good experience. And quite honestly the place looks a little dingy, too.

We found this place on Yelp and immediately got excited when we walked through the door. The wait for the table wasn't long at all but we got a chance to see all the amazing food! We got seated at our table and a few minutes later two other couples sat nearby. We were brought out water when we noticed the other tables were brought out pickles and Cole slaw! I didn't think nothing of it and got excited about the pickles! My husband asked who our waitress was as one walked by looked at me and kept walk! We waited about 10 more minutes and decided to get up and leave since no one paid us any mind! Needless to say we won't be back!

This is our second visit but I can assure you we will be coming back again and very soon. We do not live close by but it is worth the drive. The wait is moderate, the service is great and the food is excellent. Today Ivan took care of us and he was excellent gave us tips and great advice on what to eat. I recommend this restaurant highly.

I visited Roasters n Toasters on a Sunday for breakfast with the wife and kids. The line reached the corner so we had to wait awhile but it was totally worth the wait. The amount of food served here is crazy and the French toast is the best you'll have hands down they don't even need syrup. Everything we ordered was more than great and the service was very quick and it surprised me because the place was full to the rim. I found my Sunday breakfast spot.

I actually intended to have breakfast at 0930 but when I saw that lunch and dinner is also available in the morning, it was decided my friend and I would share the "triple hullah sliders that were actually more like full-sized sandwiches. The price was $15 for the plate which was a good clue that this would feed two. The menu showed corned beef, pastrami and liver for the triple. I hate liver so the waitress was happy to substitute brisket as the third sandwich. Also served with pickle and Cole slaw. We also asked for the it to be served grilled style for bun, melted Swiss, and thousand islands type dressing to top it off. There was still enough left over to take the third sandwich home. I would've given this 5-stars had it not been for all the noise being made by a group of elementary students seated in section right next to us. Service was outstanding
Delicious food and great place to dine!! GetSome!!
Great Establishment in Pinecrest, Fla. Portions are out of this world! Meals are delicious! Staff is very attentive & owner's humor is on par! GetSome!!
